“ And then we would be basically needing Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, and John Roberts on every decision. Which, look, John Roberts is 50-50 at best. We live with an embarrassment of riches on the Supreme Court, and we don't think about it could have been Merrick Garland instead of Neil Gorsuch. A lesser majority leader, someone with a weaker spine, would not have done that.”
