Ep. 5662: Ballot Box Jihad.

An old song by an old friend. And every time I play it, it makes my eyes wet. My buddy Rick Riesel from back in the day, Great is Thy Faithfulness. You know, that song was written by Thomas Chissel. It was a poem that he wrote in 1923. And it was based on Lamentations 3. It says in verses 21 through 23, but this I call to mind and therefore I have hope. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. That's how we start. Friday here on the morning show with Preston Scott. And Beck, you want him on that radio. America can handle the truth. You need him on that radio. Nine to noon on WFLA. You know, before we get to this date in history, a little backstory on Rick Riso. Rick, in his day, I mean, Rick has got me by a few years, so Rick is now in his 70s. And when our paths first crossed, he had released a Christian album. And I was working for a Christian radio station. I'd left a pretty large, significant gig at a secular station and went to work for KRDS in Phoenix, Arizona. And one of, you know, Rick's first song that he released is got to have the real thing. And I listened and it was like, okay, this is kind of a cool little vibe. But I just noticed things in his voice that just stood out to me. And then there were other songs that came out. And I did a little backdrop research on him. And Rick was one of the most successful studio jazz musicians. He was requested by a lot of big time artists. to play lead guitar in studio sessions and recording sessions for other people's albums. And so he was kind of a musician of note in the secular world, but he loved Jesus. And so he finally just went for it because he was never known as a singer. And I don't know if he was like just sort of humming along with somebody in a studio session once and like, dude. You've got a voice. And that's what I noticed. I was like, oh yeah, he can play a guitar, but dude can sing. And so I just kind of reached out and made connection with him, had him on my show, had him to a church that I worked at in Phoenix, and eventually brought Rick to Tallahassee. And we just remained friends. We lost touch with each other probably in the 1990s. I'd send a note here and there via social media, but I've just always loved his voice. And it was just such a gift of ministry to me personally. And so that song is one of many songs that Rick does. That, of course, being a classic hymn.

That just really shows a little bit of his voice. And so I hope you enjoyed hearing something from an old friend. And again, his name is Rick Riso. You can still get his records and music. He's got a song called Remember Me about communion that is just breathtaking. I mean, wow. And so anyway, just a little bit about that. It is August the 21st. 1831, Nat Turner leads a violent slave revolt in Southampton County, Virginia. 1858, the first of seven Lincoln-Douglas debates takes place in Ottawa, Illinois. In 1888, 30 years later, William Burroughs of St. Louis patents the first successful adding machine. In 1912, Arthur Eldred of Oceanside, New York, becomes the first Eagle Scout. Boy, I bet he'd be thrilled with what's happened to the Boy Scouts. There are some individual scout troops across the country that are doing it right. But when the head of the organization, when the parent organization is just sullied, I don't know what you do with that. But 1944, Dumbarton Oaks Conference in Washington, D.C. lays the groundwork for the United Nations.

And then in 1959, President Eisenhower signs an executive order making Hawaii the 50th state. The backstory of the U.S. and Hawaii is not a pretty one. And that's, it's a part of U.S. history that we ought to teach. It's got a lot of Kevin Warsh on it, but we ought to teach it. But Hawaii being deluged by that storm last week. Wow. My goodness gracious. The amount of rain it gets in general, but then last week was just terrible. All right, we've got a biblical, archaeological development that is really cool because it is straight out of the Prince of Egypt and the story of Moses. And very cool stuff coming up next. I've had a lot to say about Amendment 3. I'll have a lot to say as we get closer to November. I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time between now and October on any of this stuff. October 1st is when I'll start kind of refocusing on the November general election, although there's a degree of inevitability to certain things crossing our path between now and then. Because. How's that for a great reason? Because? Just because. I mentioned a story of biblical archaeological importance. This from the lead research assistant of the program, archaeologists in Egypt have uncovered new evidence that could pinpoint a lost ancient city along a military route with ties to the biblical exodus. Oh, really? And this comes from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. First, you got to love that title. The excavation centered near Tel Abu Safi, an ancient fortified site in northeastern Egypt near the Sinai Peninsula. Archaeologists believe it may be the long-lost city of Messon. The site once stood along the Horace Military Road, a strategic route. connecting Egypt with Sinai and Canaan, which some scholars have linked to the way of the land of the Philistines in the book of Exodus. Exodus details the Israelites fled Egypt under Moses, but were led away from the more direct route through the land of the Philistines, despite being the shorter path toward Canaan. In a translated statement, archaeologists found a massive sandstone lintel or stone beam, burying the titles of Ramesses II. Though not mentioned in scripture by name, it is long believed that he is the Pharaoh that Moses had to contend with. In the story of the Prince of Egypt, if I'm not mistaken, he is the adopted brother. of Ramses, Moses. He was born around 1,303 BC, one of the most influential and powerful Egyptian rulers. And the find presents strong archaeological and historical hypothesis linking the site to the ancient Egyptian city of Messon. They found a fortified temple complex, including a mud brick enclosure wall and Bill Gates. They've stumbled into something here. It's interesting to me because once again, we have a story that is factually identified through archaeological evidence that... mirrors a biblical account in small ways, granted, but nonetheless important ways. You might want to take a peek at the story, check it out, find it, the lost city in the area tied to the biblical Exodus, and just kind of Google that, and then read Exodus. Read the story.

It's remarkable to see these interactions between Moses and the Pharaoh, who is not, again, named in the Bible, other than through the title Pharaoh, but then to know the account of Moses' life and to see the connection in Scripture. And then to see the archaeological story uncovered. And it's like a breadcrumb that's leading us to the crossing. The Red Sea. I get all goose pipley. All right, 27 pass. Now, I'm not going to spend any time right now going through the details of the plot, and she planned to blow up the state capital with lawmakers in it in New York. I just want to point out,

Second big story. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the U.S. has to grow its way out of the national debt problem. He's not wrong, but he's not entirely correct. You know, Marco Rubio said years ago when he was a new U.S. Senator, America doesn't need more taxes, America needs more taxpayers. You have more people working, you're collecting more taxes. But the other half of the equation that Scott Bessent is missing on the debt, which now is $40 trillion plus, the national debt is just growing. What Scott Bessent is missing is, no, the bigger issue is spending. See, here's the problem with growing the economy. We've done that. Look at it. Look at the economy. From the beginning of the 20th century to now, all we've done is grow the economy. Washington always spends it. Get a little bonus check. They don't pay down debt. Get increased revenue. They don't pay down debt. They don't have the ability or they have the ability. They don't have the discipline to cut spending. If we were to continue to do what we do, which is grow an economy while cutting spending, now you can make some headway. I remember, I think it was Connie Mack the third. He was a member of the Senate for a minute. Maybe it was the House. He had what many thought was a really too simplistic plan. It was the penny plan, the penny cut or something like that. It's basically cutting one cent out of every dollar spent for a period of years. Cut 1% of the budget this year, 1% next year, 1% the year after. Keep cutting 1%. You can find 1%. And before you know it, in 20 years, you've cut the budget by 20%. We need to put the government on a diet. And the only way that's going to happen is a constitutional convention. It's the only way. They will not do it. And if you say we're close to a constitutional convention, they'll fake it for a while to get you off of the constitutional committee. No, we have to have a balanced budget with a provision that the debt is and that it remains with a surplus that pays down the debt until the debt is erased.

or at a predetermined number. That's realistic. $40 trillion is not because our interest payments are going to become the black hole that eats up everything. And then Publix has ditched the traditional 10 item or less express lines. What blows my mind is how many people are upset about this. If you're one of those that's upset, go to the automatic checkout line and check yourself out. I don't know what to tell you. If you've got eight or nine items, I'm going there anyway. I don't need to stand in line for 10 items. I go to the auto, check myself out. Done. But it's crazy what upsets people. Maybe this will upset somebody for What's the Beef? I don't know. Ted Cruz, taking what some reports call a victory lap as Nike has dropped its stock value to a 12-year low. He's loving it. He is loving it. And honestly, me too.

Even though I still have some Nike branded material, I do my best to avoid it. Because Nike hates this country. It does. It's using sweatshops in China where slave labor, child labor has been a concern for decades in making their products. People like LeBron James, they don't care. They're getting so much money. They don't care. It'd be so easy to move that manufacturing to another Pacific Rim country. If you need it made overseas, get it made in the Philippines. Get it made in Vietnam. But not China. Get South Korea away from North Korea. Get it made in South Korea. Get it made Japan. Whatever. But... You might recall, for Cruz, this started with the Betsy Ross tennis shoes. Remember that? Remember that story? Nike had a Betsy Ross-themed shoe. And Colin Kaepernet came out whining about it, saying that the shoe was representative of slavery. She honored America's past and the original flag with 13 states represented. But because Colin cried, the former NFL player who wanted to be an activist and so is mad because the team didn't want him. And so Nike caved to Colin Kaepernick didn't release the shoe. They didn't want to hurt anybody. They didn't want to offend anybody. Since then, it has dropped 80% of its value. It has lost $200 billion in market value. Its price was at $177.51, $177.51 per share five years ago. Not anymore. Now, for some, it might be the greatest time in the world to buy Nike stock. That's up to you. I just know that that nonsense and Nike's... refusal to move its production out of China. There are lots of tennis shoes. Lots of them. Don't have to buy those. There's a lot of gear out there. you that remember the glory days of Saturday Night Live with Belushi, Akroyd, Chase, Radner, Garrett Morris. I mean, they were just classic skits. And they would have recurring characters. From one week to the next or from one month to the next, they might roll something out and then give it a rest for a couple weeks and bring it back and you'd have these themes. The WNBA is becoming a sitcom. It is becoming its own joke. Men are now showing up at WNBA games dressed as women. And they are just having a field day of fun. It's all to mock the WNBA. And what are they going to do? Someone wants to come dressed however they want to be dressed. They're all inclusive, right? But these guys are absolutely mocking them. I mean, I'm looking at the video and the photos, and it is hilarious. But in the WNBA... That's the way it is. The reaction to these guys mocking the league, here's a couple social media posts. Keep it going, boys. Make people realize how utterly stupid this trans thing is. And then this comment, the WNBA has brought this on themselves. They are in a corner with no way out. Now we get to what some of the coaches are now starting to get fed up.

The coach for the Minnesota Lynx, Cheryl Reeves. She's one of the most contemptible of the coaches. I've said this before, trans kids belong. This has nothing to do with trans kids belonging. This is the classic illiberal tactic, intentional or not. In this case, I don't think it's intentional. I don't think she's smart enough to be intentional. This is about conflation. This has nothing to do with a kid that's screwed up because of people like you. Oh, by the way. Because of parents that actually encourage this nonsense instead of saying, no, you're a boy. Stop. No. And buy them a tonka truck. Have them go out and play tag. Play a little football and just move on. Don't make a big deal out of it. Just move on. No, that's your boy. Let's move on. Trans kids belong. Oh, stop it. We're not talking about trans kids. We're talking about men competing against women in your league. And the numbers of coaches that are saying, I have no problem with it. Oh, really? Let's see about that then. I'll wait for you to be the one asking your GM to draft Enos Cantor Freedom. Royce White. The dude from France that's dominating some French women's professional league. The dude, 2120, averaging 21 or 20 points a game and 21 boards. I mean, and you look at him, he's cut. Might be a little bit older. Doesn't matter. I've told you I can get a bunch of senior adult men and beat a WNBA women's team. Just give me a bunch of old guys who played in the NBA, college basketball, done. Done. It's over. Why? Because they're physically more dominant. It's that simple. All right. This is the new weapon they're using against us. For years, many Islamic leaders told Muslims in America that voting was Haram, that they should have nothing to do with our filthy Western society. Then they realized something. If they wanted to take over the most powerful country in the world with the strongest military on Earth, they would have to wage war through the ballot box. Going to the ballot and voting is now an obligatory action, Farda'in. And it is a jihad that is now needs to be done because this is our modern jihad. You can elect a person who wants the Sharia. Anticipation and democracy is our jihad. That's our jihad. We're going to fight not through the bullets, but the ballot. Coordinated effort, campaign, strategy, unifying amongst ourselves in spite of differences. So the message flipped. Muslims are now being told to vote because that's the vehicle that will deliver America to them. Not with bombs, not with guns, with ballots. They're doing it through a massive network. Mosques have been turned into polling stations. Hundreds of organizations, 501c3s, 501c4s, PACs, super PACs, and a whole arm of youth activism are working together to change the American system from the inside. You have to be ready to explain opportunities wherever they come from, whichever side they come from. And you actually have an vested interest in having a presence on both sides. There's a scenario in which we can tell people, hey, we just need 50 people to register for the Republican Party this year and go vote and vote for this person and vote for that person. And then we could actually decide that election. That's why you're now seeing mosques as polling places. It guarantees every Muslim shows up to vote. They never have to go anywhere else. Just walk into their local mosque. And they know most of you won't be there. In a midterm year, you're lucky if half of registered voters even show up. They're counting on that low turnout so they can slide their candidates into office while you sleep. Anytime voter turnout is low and the margins are slim.

We have the ability to call the shots. Organizations are popping up everywhere to mobilize every single Muslim voter. Take the moral vote, run by Imam Tom Fikini. Beyond getting people to the polls, they hold election debriefs inside mosques and actively work to elect the right candidates while defeating anyone seen as a threat to Islam. In 2028, John Fetterman is going to be up for re-election. John Fetterman is one of the most egregious politicians at the level of Senate. So he has a lot more influence. There's only two senators per state. He has a lot more influence than any of the representatives. He has been someone who has waved Israeli flags from the tops of buildings, but you will never be able to replace him with who you want. unless you organize now. Here in Lehigh Valley and here in Pennsylvania as a swing district in a swing state, we can expect things to trade off between Democrats and Republicans. If the Republicans are in power now, we expect that the Democrats are going to come back into power at some point in the near future. So then the question becomes, how do we use that in our favor? Who's hungriest? Who wants to be in power the most? What are they willing to do to get back in power? How do we play that game of chicken where we're saying, yeah, yeah, we don't like McKenzie, just like you don't like McKenzie, but we're not going to give you our support unless you do this for us. It's a game of chicken. But it's one that you have to play in order to move them and to get them to do what you want. More next on the morning show with Preston Scott.

Every voice you heard was video from inside these organizational meetings or interviews or podcasts where these leaders in America are talking. The one she's referencing Tom Fikini and a mom converted in 2010 at Vassar College. He got immersed in leftist theory in Malcolm X. Then spent years at the Islamic University of Medina. Faculty of Sharia, by the way, returning as research director at the Yaquine Institute resident scholar at Utica Majid. He is playing a pivotal role in what's going on. But let's continue with the evidence. Those statements were made inside the Islamic Society of Allentown in Pennsylvania, a 501c3 where you're not allowed to endorse or oppose candidates. But man-made laws don't matter to them. The moral vote is part of a national network moving in lockstep, using our own system to take over America from within. And they're handing out ready to use templates so every Islamic organization across the country can run the exact same playbook. Something that makes us unique. compared to all of the other similar organizations that have come about across the country, and there are many. If you've been following what happened in the wake of the 2024 election, there are organizations in Michigan and Dearborn, in California, in Arizona, other places throughout the country that are doing similar work to what we're doing with, that I am in touch with, and we're swapping notes, and we're trying to, Basmal Karra from Care Action and different people, to try to trade best practices, but we're doing one thing that nobody else is doing. And that is we are actually making templates. for other communities to follow exactly what we've done. We found a way to make this modular so that it is scalable. So we are able to then share our templates, give them to other mosques, and say, this is what we've done. You can do the same thing for your organization. In fact, next week I'll be traveling to California to San Francisco. I'll be meeting with some organizations that want to do the exact same work that we've started doing. We've already shown them the templates and explained how to use them. And this formula is working. They're targeting every state, blue states, red states, and swing states. In swing state, Pennsylvania, Republican Congressman Ryan McKenzie won his district in 2024 by just 4,200 votes. In Red State, Texas, Muslim Democrats, Salmo and Bojani first won a city council seat in ULIS by only 37 votes. In his next race for the Texas State House, he won by just over 5,500 votes.

This isn't only a conservative problem. Democrats, you're under attack too. The Islamic vote is showing up on pushing candidates who want to replace American values with Islam and socialism. In Virginia, Ghazala Hashmi won the Democratic primary in 2025 by less than one percentage point. In Swing State, Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, who advocates for Sharia and surrounds himself with people who believed America deserve 9-11, just defeated Haley Stevens by only one percentage point. In New York, Muslim convert, Darya Lisa Avila Chevalier beat incumbent Adriano Espaillat in the June primary by around 2,300 votes. New York Democrats are now stuck with a woman who co-founded Columbia University apartheid divest, a group that calls for, quote, the total eradication of Western civilization. The far-left machine is running at full speed. Thousands of organizations across the country are mobilizing everyone. Young and old, Muslims and communists, quarterly voter registration drives, massive get-out-the-vote operations. Of course they show up. And we're doing none of it. If you're a conservative activist, we need you right now. All hands on deck for November. It's happening. It's happening right now, as she said. The evidence is overwhelming. We're watching it happen at the ballot box. It needs to be stopped. You first deal with something that was mentioned in the first segment. These, quote, as long as they're going to live under the protection of being a religious organization, they can't talk politics. They can't endorse candidates. Not allowed. Told you that would slap you in the face. Hmm. Okay. This is a interesting follow-up to those two segments. The headline immediately grabbed me. The undisputed answer to Israel's legitimacy, the Dead Sea Scrolls. What's interesting is this is an opinion piece written by Lowe al-Sharif. He's an Arab Muslim peace advocate. Linguist, senior fellow at the McDonnell Lawyer Institute, born and raised in Saudi Arabia, based in Abu Dhabi. He is a leading Arab voice for the Abraham Accords and Muslim Jewish reconciliation. Based on what I'm reading, well aware of El Tiki, I believe him. I believe he sincerely is among those many Muslims.

who don't really kind of embrace the whole Islamic jihad thing. He points out that the Dead Sea Scrolls, let me just quote him. demolish one argument that has become increasingly common in parts of the Arab and Western worlds. The claim that Jewish attachment to the land, the Holy Land, the Middle East, is a recent political invention created by Europeans in the 19th or 20th centuries. He goes on to talk about how the Dead Sea Scrolls, though certainly biblical, many of them, for example, there is one scroll that is referred to as the great Isaiah Scroll. One of the most remarkable surviving biblical manuscripts in the world. But a large majority of the material discovered at Qumran was not simply biblical text. The collection also contains rules governing religious communities, prayers, legal discussions, biblical interpretations, hymns, wisdom literature, writings concerned with the end of days. Some texts tell us how members of particular Jewish communities organize themselves. Discipline their members, understood religious purity. I cannot prove that Jesus ever entered the Comran community, nor can anyone prove that he physically held one of the particular manuscripts later that's discovered. But I personally believe it is entirely possible that Jesus encountered or read texts belonging to the same scriptural tradition represented by the Dead Sea Scrolls. Now listen. As a Muslim, Jesus is also part of my religious tradition. We call him El Masi, the Messiah, which ironically ultimately means the Savior of Israel and some Muslims reject Israel. And the Quran speaks about him with great reverence. Yeah, but the Quran speaks of him as just another prophet. A great prophet, but not the son of God, not with deity status.

Because that then shatters everything Muhammad wrote. You have to understand the roots of Muhammad, his dissatisfaction with Christianity, his dissatisfaction with the Jewish faith as expressed in the Old Testament. But he borrowed from it. He borrowed these things. He borrowed some of the people. And he created his own storyline. That's why Jesus, and so my point in bringing this guy up, do I believe he's sincerely once reconciliate? Sure, I do. I read his words and I think, okay, but at the same time, he has a problem in front of him. Because the idea of live and let live, of letting Jews live along, letting Christians live alongside of Islamists is completely against the Quran. No, no. You convert, you pay a tax to live or you die. It is that simple. And I'm trying to use different sources. And here's just a story from the news from two days ago. Two days ago. This guy's saying, of course Israel has a right to that land. Of course it has historical connection to it. Of course. Yes. True. But what happens one day when he's cornered? What happens when he asks to make a decision? Dying for Muhammad? At the hands of other Islamists? That seems weird.

It's why when Islamists are presented with the gospel of Jesus, they often convert. It's a radical proposition, grace, that we live a certain way because of the grace we've received, not because of fear of death or dismemberment or branding. I don't know if you saw, but some of the protests by Christians and patriots in Dearborn have been met by Islamic men holding rocks trying to hit people with rocks to literally stone people to death. They've arrested one. Dearborn's a powder keg. It's an end. It is an uncomfortable reality that America has to face. 27 minutes past the album. That next in the big stories. I mentioned that I had a big story that connected to the last half hour of the show. And it's the story of a woman in New York that has been charged with providing support to a terror group plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on the New York State Capitol building in Albany. This lady, 35-year-old, told a confidential source she supported ISIS and was asking for help learning to make explosives. I'm going to get to the punchline here in a second. According to the complaint, she converted to Islam five years ago, created several social media accounts using the honorific Islamic name. that she gave herself. She appeared to have created multiple accounts because they were frequently suspended by providers for violating their terms of use. Several accounts allegedly tracking back to her posted messages expressing support for terrorism. Between May and July of this year, the complaint alleges she communicated between July 16th and the 17th of August with a confidential source who is working with the FBI posing as an ISIS facilitator. She told the source she wanted to help carry out an attack on the New York Capitol. The building was less than two miles from her home. She wanted to do something to harm the enemies of God. She converted to Islam five years ago and now is willing to kill people because they don't believe in Islam. I rest my flippin case. This is what we're dealing with. Our intention is to help the church ministers to respond pastorally to the needs before them. It is not our intent to enter into the ethical arguments. I mean, why would a church enter into ethical arguments about death and killing yourself? Why would a church ever do that? Can't have that. Can't have a church speak about that. The writer here for not to be says, like the devil's best tricks, it's all very religious and thoughtful sounding, but in reality, it appears to be nothing more than the capitulation to the Antichrist death cult. Ken Ham, answers in Genesis had some thoughts, quoting, in other words, it might be right, it might be wrong. Who are we to say? But here's a resource to give you prayers and scripture readings at the bedside of someone ending their own life. The victim became suspicious, contacted law enforcement, while deputies investigated. They received another call identifying the same woman as a possible suspect in a similar case. They got her on I-95 before she could leave Martin County, arrested her on fraud charges. Faces charges of scheme to defraud, felony use of two-way communication device. I'm laughing in advance of where we're going. fraudulent use of a credit or debit card without consent involving a victim 60 or older. So you see, if people my age are victimized, punishments worse. But now we get to the story. It's the inevitable part of the story that I just had to, I have to. I just do. When she was brought to jail, she entered the lockup with $3,200 in cash, placed inside her body. Now, let's think about that for a second. Mouth. Nope, nope, can't be there. Nose? Mm-mm. Ear. But my beef, and listening to this, I've got a dozen after listening to your segments for so long. I'm going to stick with my original one, and that is the way that society as a whole treats aging. They focus on, you know, I hear all this stuff about, oh, you're going to have dementia, you're going to have these aches and pains, you're going to get more and more, you're going to get up to go to the bathroom more and more. Well, I think the biggest challenge I found getting older is all my doctors are retiring. And I spent all this time finding some really great doctors, and the next thing I know, they're retiring. And so I have to start all over, and it gets tough. And the same goes with personalities. I have the suspicion that you're going to retire in a few years. Then what am I going to do every morning? I want to have to find something else to do. And it's very frustrating as you get older. So that's my beef. I understand, but let me put your mind at ease. I have no plans of retiring in a few years. Hope you are too. I am. However, I probably have had a little more success dealing with the yard issues than some. Give us an idea. What is the prevailing weed problem that people face this time of year? Is it dollar weed? Is it something else? Well, Dollarweed is certainly one. Right now, we get a lot of calls about folks and customers that have doveweed. Doveweed is the four-letter word weed that is difficult to control, and it disguises itself like St. Augustine. I remember having doveweed show up when I had a St. Augustine lawn, and it's almost indistinguishable until those little purple flowers bloom. That's right. Yes. And, you know, like Dollarweed, it does show up in areas that are holding moisture. Maybe there's a drainage issue. So, you know, that's something to look at culturally. It certainly is... It doesn't show up until the days get long, and it's warm, and that's about June 1st. Otherwise, it lays dormant, and there's voids, holes in the yard, and then they fill in. But it's, yes, it has a blue-to-purple little orchid-like flower. The seeds can lay dormant up to three years, so it's very difficult to control in a lawn. Doveweed, if I know my business on this stuff, and I mentioned to you in an email that I've come to know that weed very well because I hate it. It is a process of dealing with. What do you advise homeowners to do to begin that process?

Well, if you have a small area, a good nonchemical control is just hand pulling it out. We have to really get all the roots, the stems, because it can also propagate from stem fragments. Now, if there's no another version, there is post-emergent, which some of them are Celsius is one. Blindside is another. Blindside needs to be mixed. in a bucket before you put it into a tank, but it's very good for controlling doveweed. So post-emergence, and also glyphate. Some people hate it so much that they'll put glyphate down just to get rid of it. And then also, if you're trying to stay ahead of the game, a pre-emergent in late spring, early summer, with products such as atrazine or something to help. keep it from germinating. That combination is a good combo for control long term. Is there anything we need to be doing in the fall to deal with doveweed in advance of the spring and summer? You know, the best thing is if you can identify it as soon as possible to keep it from maturing and going to seed. So sometimes the fall, there's still time to treat it with a post-emergent. It'll turn a chartreuse color before going brown and going away. So, you know, it's just something that will take several applications to... Really get rid of it, but it is possible. And, you know, it's something that is, it'll remind you. You have to kind of be vigilant about it. But, you know, I've seen some really green, grass green doveweed that hasn't flowered yet. Yep, sad to go. Yeah, we don't have a prospect at this time. In fact, I don't even know if IHeart has technically posted the job opening. There's still a little wrangling and fighting going on about the wording or sign. I don't, I have no idea. I stay out of that, and I really don't have any. I have very little say in this process. I... You know, I come into the to the fold at the very, very beginning saying, hey, here's some people that are interested. And then they file an application. And then at the tail end, they'll go through the process of interviewing people that might be interested. And then I'll sit in on that process at the tail end when they've narrowed things down.

and go from there. You know, I've had people ask me over the years, would you ever entertain, you know, in a liberal, someone who just doesn't think at all? No, I won't because I'm not giving the platform that I believe God has given me and that I have been part of for 24 years over to stupid. Not going to happen. We get enough of that on and in the mainstream world. We get enough of that in podcasts. We get enough of that with the NBC, ABC, CBS Nightly News, although CBS is changing. We get enough of that on Fox. We get enough of it on MS, whatever it is now. We get enough of it on CNN. So no, this show is for someone who... is aligned with my philosophies doesn't have to agree with everything but they need to be pretty much on board with the way that conservatives think about things and because that will that that makes for a compatible partner here. My preference obviously is that someone loves Jesus, although that's nothing that I heart can legislate or weed through, but it certainly would be something that I would be looking at. If I had a bunch of candidates, I'm, you know, I'm going to lean to people that are the most similar to the way that I view things and therefore will be harmonious because for the most part, We've avoided contention here for 24 years, and I have no interest in moving in that direction. So if you know of somebody that might be interested in a part-time job, it isn't an easy job. It's a very demanding job. There are an occasional perk that comes along, just saying, occasionally.
