In any other world and in any other place, I do not talk about the Lindsay Clancy story. It's just not where I live and breathe. Postpartum psychosis, which is different than postpartum depression. which can happen to women after giving birth. Text messages to her mother about not feeling well, feeling angry, worried about the kids, concerned about herself and doing something to the kids. She killed her, told her husband to go pick up dinner, killed her three kids. tried to kill herself, husband comes back, bodies. I mean, it's just a crazed story. Maybe more crazed is all of the women who are coming out to support her. They're supporting other women through this difficult time.

I don't know how what the reaction is. I've seen every reaction across the board. Um, the argument of, well, it's possible because this happens to him and we just have to accept that. I'm not, I'm not there. Not there in the slightest. You can tell me she heard voices. Maybe she did. These things don't happen often, so let us be thankful for that. But rallying to her cause, like they did for Luigi Mangione, this murderous low life, loser, it... Is this just liberal women? Again, we're going to say there's something really wrong with liberal women because there is something really wrong with liberal women. And we're going to prove that with a story out of Westfield and a 17-year-old. Don't tell me this woman is some kind of influencer. Stop it. But we're going to celebrate the murder of three kids? Because in the end, she killed her three kids.

That's the story. And no matter the anything else, you deal with the consequences of that. And societally, we usually set some kind of punishment for the murder of children. But we're going to now have an argument of it's understandable and women are going to support her and you don't understand. Nah. No, we go down this road. I mean, we've already said about a million things. There's no coming back. I don't know you come back from that. Oh, Tony, you're a man. You don't know. I know. Sorry. I know. Postpartum depression? No, I don't know. Depression. I do know. You killed your three kids. If it's not a crime anymore, because you could say, I had the sads, which is, yes, a generalized take. So the USS George Washington is relieving the USS Abraham Lincoln. As we said, Tony Katz, 93 WIBC, good morning. This is what they said was going to come. This is not surprising to anyone anywhere. And the more we know about... The stories of, oh, look at the terrible and awful and deplorable conditions. Not so much the story. Not so much the story. I spoke with Major Mike Lyons. U.S. Army military analysts retired, and I think I've got it queued up in the right spot, talking about the Abraham Lincoln and what we were told versus the reality of being on a combat mission. And anything else, you served, you have commanded. When you see stories like this, do you believe in investigation first, or do you believe in, oh, I know exactly what this is and some people need to be thrown out of the military? Yeah, I wouldn't say it thrown out of the military, but Tony, the military like the civilian world has people in their ranks that are problems and create problems and stir things up. I called it the 5% rule when I was in command. And the bottom line is of 120 men that I had in my unit, there was always six or seven of them that were going to be a problem. They were overweight. They were complaining. They were, they couldn't, you didn't want to do what they wanted to do. And even when I got somebody out of that, somebody came back in it. So there's always going to be a problem. So unfortunately, you know, I asked my son,

who's deployed and has done this before. And he says, could you imagine if you were in Desert Storm and you had a bunch of E4s that had phones and they were posting back to their wives and complaining to their parents about how bad things were? Because yeah, we did eat MREs for six days in a row. And yes, we had the conditions were very challenging at times, which is why my personal motto is endure the hardship. Because everybody that signs up for the military knows that's going to happen. So unfortunately, that story got overblown. And it got to the point where it really hurts morale. And you don't think that the Iranians use. used that as propaganda. And it's just a shame. Once again, that it was used by politicians. It was used by the media. And it's designed to dump on the president, once again, that we don't recognize that there's always going to be a challenge in that environment. But it's surely not the same challenge. How's like to be a Russian soldier that gets, that's, gets scooped off the street, put in two weeks basic training, and life expectancy on the front is 20 minutes. How'd you like to be that guy? None of that. Protection of the force and taking care of our soldiers and sailors. Number one priority with our country. Everybody feels it. And it's a shame that if you have ruined it for everybody else. Let's now go through some questions that I have. And I'd like to hear what answers you have. A standard deployment to the extent that you know what a standard deployment is for an aircraft carrier. What is that? What time frame is that? Yeah, eight or nine months. There's 11 carriers, 10 or 11 carriers we have at any given time. You'll go out eight or nine months. And it's not just the carrier. It's the destroyers, the cruisers. It's the whole battle group that goes with it. So it's, you know, 10 to 12,000 or so total sailors. Now, they get ports of call there's places where the carriers go and the sailors can can and can go visit places one again my son deployed um got to the middle east went to israel went to places in the mediterranean it's it is kind of an exciting life on some level now so you're not sitting on that ship necessarily for nine months Unfortunately, though, in the Lincoln right now, because it's in a combat zone, they haven't had the ports of call that they normally would get in certain places. Because again, an air current carrier just can't go anywhere. It's got to go to certain spots. So that's kind of part. So that's part of the challenge that they've had. This has not had the ports of call that they normally get on a typical deployment. It's not a vacation by any means, but they do get times when they get off the ship and they get to go see things and get to enjoy the life and get to project power besides being on that ship. So that's the normal deployment. And it is understood that if you are in actual combat, you might not be able to get all the ports of call. Every sailor on that ship understands that that's the way it's going to be. For sure. And they recognize the importance of it. You know, again, there's the destroyers, the cruisers, all the other ships are out there too. The conditions on those carriers are a lot better in some ways than some of those other ships because there's about 5,000 pilots and mechanics and all kinds of folks that make that aircraft carrier go. It's a small city for all practical purposes and what it does and what it does and how it projects power and how important that job is.

But again, they recognize the fact that it's 24-7. One thing about the military, it is 24-7. They've got to run 12-hour cycles. They're making sure soldiers are getting, and sailors are getting sleep. It's all part of the process. Now let's move on to the food conversation. The same meal day after day after day was some of the claim. complaints back to family back home. When I say to you, I would assume they were eating MREs, meals ready to eat. I wasn't joking. I didn't know the level of, I remember when the political left was complaining that they got lobster. And now they're complaining that they're having, what was it, hot dogs or corn dogs five days ago? Talk to me about the food situation. So again, there's three kind of levels of rations. There's fresh food, which the Navy does a really good job at, resupplying. The Navy's got resupplying. ships that are that are that are travel with the carrier groups that get them fresh food that they and they and they they they are allowed to dock and they bring that food so that's they call like a rations those are you know fresh fresh food for all practical purposes however there's these b rations which are dehydrated or there's you know think about powdered eggs or things like that they're a little bit better they're still served hot they're still served they're still paliable um but they they they have uh you know they're they're let's say they have a luck a longer short short life they're macaroni and cheese and things like that and then there's sea rations those morees those last things that you just you know you can just eat those having eaten them for two weeks straight in combat you got to do what you got to do so Again, we're projecting something that's really not a problem. What the Navy does is bounce them. I don't think any of the sailors are eating C rations, frankly. They're eating MRIs. They're not, I think they're eating the B rations and the A rations. And maybe they don't get resupplied on the fresh food as often, but they're eating those B rations, which is just as well. That's just some of my conversation with Major Mike Lyons. Doesn't mean you should believe it at all. It's the New York Times. Why would I ever? Why would anyone? But it was a story that was meant to inflict pain politically and did not have any connection to reality. It is about, yes indeed, some complaining sailors. How dare you say that about our service members? Because of some service members it needs to be said of. There are some bad cops, too. The left has no problem talking about bad cops unless they're a capital police officer on January 6th, in which case they're all perfect, including the murderer one. Tony, you can't say that. Said it, meant it, not apologizing for it. But now we've got the relief of the Lincoln with the George Washington. This leaves no carrier in the Pacific, which has its own issues.

Now, if you don't believe in the United States military as a deterrent to bad actors, okay, well, you can believe like JD Vance. Well, I'm not 100% sure on that one. It's just in no other place to see believe in deterrence. As a matter of fact, he thinks the top priority regarding Iran is keeping oil prices low. And it was the president who publicly contradicted him to say the pressing matter is making sure Iran doesn't get a nuclear weapon. That's a story. No one wants to talk about it on the right, but oh, that's a story. As for the Abraham Lincoln, there are some people who need to be dealt with. By now you've probably heard this story about this sports reporter for the Seattle Times who was writing a story involving the trans madness.

He had gotten the perspective of two female student athletes opposed to competing against men. Tony Katz 93 WIBC. Good morning. Great to be with you. And the Seattle Times said, we're not going to run this. So he said, I quit. His name is Matt Culkin, C-A-L-K-I-N-S. I don't know him and I don't know anything about his work. He quit. I'm done here. Well, I mean, that was enough. I mean, you saw him interviewed by Katie Pablich on News Nation last night. I believe it's the New York Post that ran the story today. Quite literally the story that the Seattle Times did say they weren't going to run. He put out on the X there on Twitter, it was one of several pieces of mine that had been spiked and I no longer felt like I could properly do my job as a columnist. Then you have to go. That is absolutely correct. I don't know how many people do that. I do not know how many people are willing to say, if I can't speak, I'm not showing it. I'm not having a part of this. I can't. Can't be a part of it at all. Got to respect it. Gotta respect it. I heard things went well for the vice president speaking of people who are like, hey, I did what I had to do. Vice President Mike Pence was in Indianapolis speaking at the Historical Society. I was supposed to have a meeting downtown and then I was going to head over to it. The meeting got moved up here and I did not make it. So I apologize for that. But the meeting was about the future and I got to focus on the things I got to focus on first.

You understand what it is that you're dealing with. This all becomes a lot easier. We're not dealing with people who simply want to live their lives in peace. No. The destruction is the goal. The violence is the goal. The terrorism is the goal. I was watching earlier this morning. People screaming at Ian Hirsi Ali. for noting the problems with Islamic societies, the oppression of women, the brutality. And then what happens when those who want to adopt Sharia, which is a very large number of people, that if they were their own nation, you would be concerned about and you'd put them on a list. How dare you, I and here's the Lee, say this? If you don't know who I on here, CLE is, you should and you should read the book Infidel, and you will understand much, much, much, much more about what is going on. This woman, Jessica Bowie, observed making several visits to New York State Capitol, taking several photographs of the building, and she was doing reconnaissance. while fully covered and dressed in a burqa. And there is a photo of her in front of an SUV, I don't know if it's hers or not, burqa gloves taking a picture with her iPhone. Yes, that is going to draw attention. Yes. Now, are we going to find out that it is indeed liberal white women. who are most easy to manipulate into doing these things. Of course we are. It's always liberal white women. That doesn't mean that there aren't others, but it's always liberal white women. Why does this happen? Well, to understand this, we need to bring ourselves to what happened in Westfield, which I'm going to get into at the top of the hour. Because what happened in Westfield, with this woman and a 17-year-old who runs the Turning Point USA chapter there is a story not only just of madness about why would you yell at a 17-year-old who you disagree with. Maybe one could argue it's about whether or not we should have any of these political groups in high schools. It's about the idea that I heard about this two days ago. And I purposely waited a day to see if anybody... from the school system was going to say anything. When you allow madness to go unchallenged, unchecked and unspoken about, it will grow. Why do we bring up the Islamists? Because we can't allow this to fester and grow. This is a violent radical ideology. And if you're upset with me, it is not my fault for noticing what's happening. It is not bigoted. It is not Islamophobic. Here we are staring at it. It is an ideology that is contra to Western civilization. And one thing has to win and one thing has to lose. And I say we Western civilization have to win.
