I got it going to be asked. I wish it went all the way of the pictures, but then some of the egotomaniacs here would have been bothered. Their picture wouldn't have. You wanted to be wider, you're saying. Yeah, wider. I wanted to go all the way to the wall. Okay. Can Andy get out there? From the window to the wall is what you're saying. Exactly. That's what I wanted all the way. They should have consulted me. Okay. Well, you're a noted pergola expert. You're very good at pergola. This pergola is great. Close circuit Adam Carter. When did we move from just, I mean, just a table? I mean, I think we are at a table. I mean, if the fan is listening, text me, when did we move? I think our most infamous moment ever at the fan table is when I'm still with Dan. And Majors was a regular with us, okay? And Majors brought. Pat Miles over. Oh, Brad Lander. They submitted the wider version of the pergola. They didn't get it approved by the fair. Oh, the fair shut us down. You know the problem? I bet Sweet Martha said no. It's too close. Too close. Are there really regulations of the fair on how wide a pergola can be? Martha's got a lot of pull. There's a big fence in between sweet Martha's. Okay. People would break it down for a bucket. You know that. That's true. So we're at the table. And that's what we had. Literally, we were just very small location for years and years at the fan. And so it's, I remember it went me. And he's squirting us. And we're like, to borrow a Dan word, we're gobsmacked. We're like, what is going on here? And in the audience, you know who had the audience? The future governor of the state of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura. That's even better. Okay. But you know who our muscle was who stood up to the crazy campaign? Cabet. Someone we've both worked with. So the fan moves over by the grandstand, over by CCO TV, Fox 9, Vescios is nearby, and at the fan, and they still have it, the bleachers. Yes. And this is when I went to two, Dan went to 430, and you could see it, like where fans were melting on those metal bleachers. And both of us started complaining, we need a giant awning. Okay, and awning to, whoop! That awning comes up. That sounded nice.

And so complain about the awning, complain about the awning, and then end up here. 09, my first fair here, and shockingly, quickly, I saw people melting in our, well, okay, another thing I deserve credit for is grabbing those benches and bringing them in. People used to have to just sit out there. Standing room, right? Yeah, standing room. And I went, no, no, no, no. And I sort of bringing the benches in. And then people would move him back. And then finally, I'd bring them back. And so now what do we have? We have benches everywhere. Benchia paloosa. And now, ladies and gentlemen, at the fair, you are welcome. Yes. Because I have brought in the, I just, it was my idea of some sort of cover. I still thought, whoop. The awning. But I think they shot us down perpetually on the awning. I would say when you count the whole world and the implications, it might take a while, but I think $1.5 billion is fair. Okay. Judge Kevin Burke, I mean, yeah, okay, he was a judge for 30-some years. Chief Judge, should he take on the fair and get a pergola? I don't think so, but he's next. Let's start Kevin.

With what happened yesterday in Ramsey County District Court, what's continuing today, I'm going to read from a Sahan journal story. Six members of two alleged Somali gangs agreed to not attend this year's state fair after being named in civil lawsuits seeking to ban the gangs from gathering. Others who turned it down say the lawsuits violate their constitutional rights. The muddy and the vile gangs, the lawsuits laid out several incidents involving the alleged members, including in 2024 shooting, also a 2025 brawl, just inside the fairgrounds and other actions in St. Paul. Are we really negotiating with gang members here? Is that what's taking place in court, sir? No, actually the history of this kind of litigation started in California in the 1980s. And these kind of cases do raise constitutional questions. Among them is, well, I'm not a member of what named the gang. I didn't get served, or I have protective activities. So could you end up saying in a very conservative state that if you're protesting against Planned Parenthood outside the building, that's a public nuisance and we can ban it? I don't think that's what's really happening in the litigation in St. Paul. After the California Supreme Court affirmed the idea that these public nuisance lawsuits are at least conceptually constitutional, Minnesota adopted a statute which drives that litigation on the state fair. I'll add a little more, because this was an excellent story by the Sahan Journal on this. Last week, prosecutors with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office and the Ramsey County Office stated the need for the injunctions, using testimony from Ramsey County Sheriff's Office gang investigator Ben Sidel to establish both groups as gangs under a Minnesota statute. He testified that investigators used a nine-point list of criteria. developed by the state's gang and drug oversight council to identify gang members. At least three of the nine points, which include identification by reliable source like law enforcement, being arrested or consistently seen with other known gang members and thrown up gang signs, need to be met to be considered a gang member. Is that fair in your estimation? The idea of these 9-point tests, 12-point tests, 7-point tests, is all over the country. And sometimes they're wrong and embarrassingly wrong. So I'm not knocking the idea that we want to try to develop some intelligence and stuff.

But the track record here is more spotty than law enforcement would like you to believe. Do you want to expand on that? Well. I was seen with Chad Hartman. And you know, Chad Hartman has been causing a lot of trouble for the state fair. He took them on. Yeah. And my association with Chad Hartman now becomes one of the points that allows me to be enjoined and not allowed to come to the state fair. I'm not trying to be completely flippant, but it's a serious issue. to end up saying that the government's going to come after you and prohibit you from going to certain places that everybody else enjoys. So can I chime in that? Let me try to be as specific as possible. If they can show that this gang and these 10 cause the disturbances in 24 and 25 at the fair, multiple times, and they can associate them with gang issues elsewhere. in their lives in St. Paul. Is that enough? I mean, it likely is. I think that it likely is. I mean, it seems like it should be for me. Yeah. Pardon me? It seems like that should be enough for me. Yeah, no, I agree. I think that at least if those are the facts, that certainly seems to comply with the statute. You've got to be careful here because the idea of ability to go someplace, ability to say certain things is an important constitutional right. But from what you describe, at least conceptually, we're moving in the direction that, yes, a judge has the authority to go ahead and do this. Kevin, hang on. I want to take a short break. I want to come back because Derek Chauvin. Seems like he'll never leave our lives. He's appealed again. He's done this before. And once again, a lot of people who believe Derek Chauvin did not receive a fair trial are bringing that back up again. And this was obviously right here in our state, right here in the county. So we got Flagpole and flag-related music today. Kevin Burke continues with this, the retired former judge, including twice chief judge for Hennepin County. P.K. Hill, you still know very well. He oversaw the Derek Chauvin trial, by the way, for all the folks who are like, oh, what a lefty P.K. Hill is appointed by Tim Pawlenty, Republican. So Derek Chauvin again is looking to overturn his conviction, his latest attorney says the case should have gone before a grand jury. and that the governor's decision to put Attorney General Keith Ellison in charge was unlawful. On those two points, does Derek Chauvin have a chance for an appeal? I would start with this. Before I was a judge, I represented a number of people who were facing life in prison. And my belief was then that if they got convicted, they will come and turn on me or the judge or anyone else, and I don't blame them. They're sitting in prison. I was thinking this morning when you asked me to be on your show, do you remember the movie The Great Escape? Yeah. Long time ago. They broke out of the Nazi camp.

Great cast. And early in the movie, one of the prisoners said there's a duty to escape or try to escape. And so at some level, that's what Derek Chauvin's doing. He has nothing else to do, so let's go try. I think that practically speaking, it is highly improbable. It would be successful. If you look at when collateral attacks on convictions occur, the first one is the prosecutor withheld exculpatory evidence, and we would never have been convicted if we had known that. That one doesn't work in Minnesota, or certainly in Hennepin County, because the history in Hennepin County is the prosecutors give the defense lawyer everything they have. It's an open book policy here. These are all the police reports. Here are the lab things. They don't hold stuff back. So that one's not good. Second one is there's new technology that says, Ah, with DNA, we can show he was not the murderer. Well, that's not going to happen. There's no scientific development here that would change the facts. Things like complaining about the grand jury and stuff like that tend never to work because. The issue gets forfeited. When Derek Chauvin appealed his first conviction, which was affirmed, he didn't include those issues, and he forfeits them. So it's a very uphill battle for him if you were going to go on the betting markets. You're betting against Derek Chauvin's success in this attack on his conviction. And the governor is allowed. to put the Attorney General in charge of cases. We know that, right? Right. Yeah, yeah, right. So I don't know how to see that unlawful. We saw the controversy when Governor Walves took the case away from Mary Moriarty. Yeah. And you didn't hear Alpha News complain about that. Well, yeah, that was the officer case, by the way, where I agree, by the way, I think the officer was unjustly charged, and I think Mary Morrarty screwed up that case myself personally. For the folks who are still convinced and they cite one autopsy versus another, do you think that's an area? Well, that's why you have a jury trial. Well, the difficulty is...

The jury heard the evidence. There was an opportunity to attack the autopsy for the prosecution. So again, if there was something that would say it's not creating reasonable doubt, it's a mathematical certainty that this defendant didn't do it because of the DNA. And that's not the facts in this case. It's not like, well, we can prove that George Floyd is actually alive. So it's not going to, it's not likely to happen. But you don't blame him. He's sitting in prison and he's got his supporters. So why not go give it a try? Last point here with Kevin Burke. I said this. many times. George Floyd should not have resisted arrest. That didn't mean he should have been killed. And the overwhelming number of officers, in my opinion, are either very good or great. They're outliers like there are in every job. And Derek Chauvin put his knee on George Floyd's neck for not a minute, not two minutes, not three minutes, not four minutes, not five minutes, not six minutes, not seven minutes, eight minutes, nine minutes plus. And this is the guy that we're saying, unless you support him, you're not a law and order guy. I am a supporter of quality police officers. I back that up every day on the show. I'm sorry, this wasn't quality police work, Kevin, in my opinion. The thing that you mentioned about the nine minutes is typically what the police will try to do in a situation where somebody is resisting arrest, and the crowd is developing, which happens? they will try to get the person out of there as fast as they can. So what was the point in keeping him there with the knee on his neck for nine minutes so that you could get the crowd even more upset? That just doesn't make sense. It's not good law enforcement. Nope. And he had a pattern. And what he did was after he had George Floyd under control, What's on call for, and in my opinion, deserve charges, and then the jurors rendered their decision. All right, my friend, excellent as always. One of the last point? I think that one of the sad, among many sad things about the George Floyd, Derek Chauvin case, is if you look back at this, Chauvin should have been kicked off the police department for misconduct long before George Floyd. and he wasn't held accountable for prior misdeeds. And, you know, fine, he can get a new job. I'm not talking about banishing him to some island, but he just didn't temperamentally fit for being a police officer. I got to jump in. Excellent point. This show is clear and has been for a long time. I want us to have a third party, a fourth party. We need an alternative to the monopoly offered up by the Democrats and the Republicans. And to me, they're just going further to the right and further to the left. And the 60-some percent of the centrists, the moderates, are saying, where can I go? Well, one party. that's trying to get this done is the Forward Party, and the Forward Party's executive chair, Kerry Healy is with us. Carrie, thank you so much for coming on. You are on the John Schuster Coldwell Banker hotline. Carrie, give our audience kind of the fundamental core of what is the Forward Party. Well, first of all, thank you so much for taking a stand around standing up for independent voters and independent candidates and the idea that there could be more than two parties. This is a wonderful thing to hear coming back at us because we have been working on establishing the Forward Party for the last three years. We have about, oh, 250,000 members who've opted in around the country where we have organizations in more than 40 states. and we're on the ballot in eight states, including Minnesota, and we have the Ford Independence Party in Minnesota. And so we are working really hard to make sure that independent candidates and Ford Party candidates have all the same resources that you'd see from Democrats and Republicans. That's our goal, because we think that's how more people can actually hear their voices expressed in our government. So it's good to know where you're at, but let me just go back to that question. And can you give me... three or four bedrock principles, core issues where the forward party stands right now, where independents and moderates like myself and others in our audience might say, hey, I hope this really builds because those three or four are about where I'm at. Well, I hope I can, and I think that's going to be easy because instead of a policy platform, what we have is principles. And I think the principles that our party has embraced are ones that most Americans can get behind. First of all, we support our Constitution. And we believe in rule of law. We believe that laws should apply to everyone equally. At all times, we believe that we should be able to work across the aisle in the best interests of our voters and our citizens. We believe in basing our policies on real data, on facts. And we also believe in respecting the dignity of the people who are participating in the public sphere. It's a real privilege and an honor and difficult to run for office. And we believe that the discussions that go on in the public domain should be more respectful than they are today. And we ask that of our candidates. And we also are looking for innovations.

democracy that open up the vote to more people, more legal voters. We believe that everyone who has a right to vote should be able to vote and that their vote should count. So I hope there's something in there that resonates with you. Let me look at a quote here because the Forward Party will tell people where you're at in New Mexico as an example and then I'll set up this point because you are an established party in the state of New Mexico, correct? I believe yes, that's correct. Yep. So, yeah, the party gain minority party status, ensuring its candidates will appear on the ballot. So one of the individuals who has launched this affiliate is a former state representative and a U.S. diplomat there named Bob Pearls. Yes, Bob. Here's a quote from Bob. We're not a centrist moderate party, rather in traditional liberal gerryman districts, probably the forward candidates will be more liberal. In more conservative districts, especially in state house and Senate seats, our forward candidates are probably going to be more conservatives. So we go back to what binds us, a commitment to democracy reform, like open primaries, ranked choice voting, and independent redistricting term limits free and fair ballot access. Is there a concern that there's so much leeway now within the forward party? that from state to state, from candidate to candidate, there's going to be a wider range of like principles compared to where people have a better idea and they know where Democrats and Republicans stand on issues and is tougher to pin down with the forward party candidates. Well, there may be a wide range of issues that our candidates embrace, and they may trend more to the right or more to the left, depending on the state in which they are running. But the principles behind them are going to be the same. You're going to be able to trust that that person genuinely honors the Constitution and genuinely is data-driven and is respectful of others and wants to collaborate in the best interest of the people. And they're voters. And we respect that every community is unique. And what works in one community might not work in another. So I think that Bob has nailed it there. And what we are looking for is we're going around all the states. And I believe Minnesota, you know, fits into this category where one party dominates. I know my home state of Massachusetts, every single elected official is a Democrat. And so there are a number of people who just feel excluded. And over 60% of the people in Massachusetts right now are independents. And so they don't often feel that the people who are presented to them on the ballot represent them. And they don't feel like they have a choice. Similarly, if you're out west,

you might be in a state that is all Republican and the Democratic Party has been completely marginalized. So the foreign party candidate that comes in to try to fill that void somewhere in between the major party and the minor party, they may have a slightly different flavor to them or a slightly different character, but they're going to be being responsive to the will of the people in that state. And that's what we're really looking for. Carrie Healy is with us from the forward party. She is their executive chair. Chad Hartman here with you on CCL. For your party to take an even bigger jump when we look to 2028, I know a lot of people are still putting in a lot of work for 2026, but for the forward party to be discussed on a lot of talk shows, to be an even bigger factor in races all across the country. What must happen? Well, I think, first of all, a lot of local races have to be one. And as you may know, in Minnesota today, there is an announcement. There was a press conference that there was a coalition between Republicans, Democrats, independents, and Ford independence of people who said, if you elect us, we will try to agree on as many things as we can to move. legislation forward that is in the best interest of the people who have voted for us and will disagree where we must, but our basic attitude will be one of cooperation. And I think that as more local folks are elected as forwardists, we have a number of mayors, for example, right now, who are forward members because they feel that they can represent everyone. by doing that. And I think you're going to get people more excited about this idea that government doesn't have to be a fight. It can actually be a problem-solving mechanism as opposed to a group of people who point out problems in order to divide us as opposed to actually solving those problems to help us. Joe Manchin, I know you're familiar with him, the former governor and senator of West Virginia. And he stepped down, we're closing in on, well, probably a year and a half, a little more than that. And he now is working with his daughter, Heather, and is launching the Independent Leadership Council to support and elect independents across the country. Is he in any way a part of the Forward Party? Well, we talk to them all the time, and he has been with us at some of our events, and we work with Heather constantly. We support independence, but we also cross-endorse some Republicans and some Democrats who we feel share our values, but who aren't ready to leave their parties yet. And so I think that there's a slight difference of opinion between what we're doing, but not much, because we're supporting independent candidates for the House and the Senate. across the country right now. We've got, for example, we've got Todd Achilles in Idaho, who's running with no one else in the race except for him and the Republican incumbent. We also have Brian Bangs, who's an independent running in South Dakota in the same situation. Seth Bodner out in Montana, who's doing very well as an independent candidate for U.S. Senate out there.

Nobody who was like a Republican established. I mean, if you're saying Mark Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the toughest one, come on. Nice guy, but. very quiet hadn't established himself that much she's been she's been blessed by some of the candidates but and her popularity's dropped a little bit as divided as the country and state has so she's not at the peak of her powers and she's been in this mix and offices as i just said since nineteen ninety eight so what does she have to do. I think what she needs to do is she needs to go back to Republican principles, like what Goldwater and Eisenhower wanted, which was like strong unions and a good education, and trying to get rid of the military industrial complex, like get us out of this war. You know, and she really needs to work hard for rural Minnesota to bring jobs in small towns back. You know, big cities, you know, I get it, they can take care of themselves, though. There's so much entrepreneurs here that will generate the jobs, but. She really has to become like the 1950s Democratic Farmer Labor candidate, really. Thank you, Jeff. I appreciate it. And you're fired. By the way, you've lost the job now. That is the dilemma that we'll let Jeff go. That is the dilemma, because plenty is coming in, separate from Trump, separate from Trump. And I get that. And he's not popular in this state. Anybody who says he's popular in this state, you're wrong. Just look at all the polling. Much more popular in 16.

I mean, that was a very close race. Donald Trump is not popular across the country right now. Now, within the Republican Party, yes, he is. Okay? Not with independence, though. The enormous drop for Donald Trump with center-right folks right now is staggering. And if any Republican was going to defeat Amy Klobuchar, You've got to get the moderates. You just do. Now, you can't turn off the juice of your own party. And Magus still is a factor in this state. It's just not as prominent as it is in other states. So how does she walk the line of not so ticking off? Donald Trump, in particular in MAGA, but also appealing to folks who are sick and tired of Tim Walz, sick and tired of the trifecta, sick and tired of the regulations, sick and tired of how overtaxed the state is, because me? I'm sick. We're way over taxed. We have too many regulations. The trifecta went way too far. Walls wasn't accountable enough on the fraud. They should have been more involved in stopping it, and he won't take enough accountability in any way. How does she walk that line? And she's going to join us to the fair, and these will be some of the questions I ask. because she was asked again in the last 24 hours about Operation Metro Surgeon and other ways where she would separate from Trump. And she's like, I'm only worried about Minnesota. I'm worried about fraud and education. And we've had Lisa on this show a number of times. And she's clearly a very intelligent person. who can give long answers, but on specific, sometimes she stays incredibly disciplined or frustrating, however you look at it, and not answering certain questions. I think she's going to have to find a way, though, to further separate from Trump or else she's done. She's not going to get the folks who honestly might have voted for Barack Obama and 12 and Donald Trump in 16. She's got the hard cores. Amy Klobuchar has got the hardcore Democrats, and she consistently wins with the moderates. If you don't get some of those moderates, you're done. James Carville once said, it's the economy stupid, right? Yeah. We know that, and we know it to be true. People vote so often with their wallets. I don't think she can beat Amy Klobuchar by taking shots at Amy's record, at her. just as a candidate. Yep. But I think if you can convince enough people, enough people in the middle, that we need just a change in party. We need a different look at things. We need to.

number one, put a Republican in the governor's office to take down fraud. Yep. Say, you know, the DFL has. Different approach. Yes, say the DFL has had their chance and they've failed on fraud. And she's beaten this into the ground. We know that. Absolutely. And they have to continue to do that. That's the biggest hammer they have. Yep. But you can also talk about where the state budget is at. You can talk about what the economy is right now in Minnesota. You can talk about this overspending. Whatever it is that you can convince people that, no, this isn't right. What the DFL did with the trifecta, what we have seen now with a run of Democrats in the governor's office, needs to change. And Amy isn't going to be the one to do it. If you can convince enough moderates. Yeah, you got a shot? Absolutely you do. Because, as I said, as James Carville said, it's the economy, stupid. The tough part of the economy, though, is a lot of people, rightfully so, are going to say, well, Donald Trump's now been president. We're getting near two years from the election, but like so 19, 20 months since he took over. And in many. relatable areas of life. The economy's worse. Sure. Just is. Inflation. And I know with Joe Biden, it was nine points. That was awful. Plenty of it was COVID-related. Plenty of it was. He put too much money into all of our pockets, by the way. But when Joe Biden left where inflation was to now, it's higher. groceries, affordability, still a major issue. The war hasn't helped. And an off-year election for any president in power is a tough one to overcome. Like, I think that press conference was yesterday where she brought out a list of press releases from 22 to 25, kind of when feeding their future really ratched up. And Lisa Demuth is saying there wasn't one release from Amy Klobuchar talking about fraud in this state. And I think then if obviously. We know what the national economy is with inflation, with what the war has done. She's in a spot to say, look, I was speaker of the Minnesota House. I was a member of the Minnesota legislature. That's not on me. I don't agree. She could even say, I did not agree with going to war. I didn't like what that was going to do to oil prices, two commodity prices, all of that and say, look, I can't control as a governor as a candidate what the national economy is going to be like. But I can as Minnesota's governor. put more money in your pocket by cutting taxes, by reducing spending, et cetera. Good points. Let's read a lot of tax here. Personally, I tune out when they blame the other candidate for all the problems, especially when they themselves were elected officials. What are their solutions for our issues? What are they going to do going forward? More texts. If I was advising Lisa, I would ask the public, what has Amy done that made your life better the last 20 years? Accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault without evidence shows how she operates also.

to say there was no evidence on Brett Kavanaugh. Or to say Brett Kavanaugh, I handled himself perfectly during that hearing is an area where I dramatically disagree. She has to research Amy Klobuchar's voting record and see how effective she was during her tenure. More. If I was advising Damon, I would strongly suggest backing off the political ads. Elisa needs to define Amy as exactly who she is, a third Wall's term. She also needs to advertise the Metro and needs a breakout ads. Why are people so convinced that Clubashar is just Walls 3.0? Because if you think she's going to be like the trifecta when Walls has moved further left, I just disagree. Now, she's not going to turn into... Tim Pawlenty, 1.0 and 2.0. But the idea that Walls and Amy Klobuchar are the exact same. I don't think it holds up, but I don't falter for trying that. I think that's just a symptom of if you're a diehard Republican, you believe all Democrats are like, just the opposite if you're a Democrat. Lisa needs to take income tax off Social Security. Let's see. Chad, why don't you want Amy Klobuchar? She's a mainstream moderate you've been asking for. When did I say I didn't want her? The question on the table is, if you are Lisa Demuth, how do you win this race? How many years was Lisa Damon and St. Paul never brought up the fraud even in the minority? She could have been pounding on it. Well, our guy Mattel, when he was running, and I wish he was in the mix. He made the point, too, that to say this is only on walls and the Republicans there had no chance to do anything, I think that's a little naive. Clearly more is on walls. I agree with that. But if you're in positions of authority, and Damath wasn't the Speaker of the House the entire time, but if you're Republicans, and we know the fraud goes back even further, it just went up. skyrocketed once that money was out there and there were not enough checkpoints in any way. But if you're a Republican there, can you just say I was there? I was in a position of power and I have no accountability. I'm not sure that holds up with all the moderates. Your plan and God's plan. I'm done with that idea. Let's discuss in moments. Your plan. God has a plan. You only get what God believes that you can handle. Get out of here with all of it. I do believe there's a supreme being, and I respect that people have different wishes, and I respect that you are fully fledged, fully allowed, and can disagree with me on any point, including this one. But when I watch what happens to kind, sweet, caring individuals on the daily, and you're telling me that we're just chess pieces and that God is just moving us around and you think we have free will but we really don't. Let me tell you about my Monday night and why I wasn't here Tuesday. My son Quentin, who is my hero.

everything he faces, the light he brings, the light he brought to the suite the other day when so many Sisi employees were so kind to him and he was so kind to them. And this rare genetic disorder that he battles and the surgeries he has. And now he has a major swallowing challenge within his life that is enormous. And he had his first seizure a long time the other day. And he is sitting in these chairs where we moved and I made sure these chairs would have armor us. So if God forbid the seizures came back, he would not fall hard. And we were sitting there. He just had his medicine. It's a Monday night. Guess what Quentin wants to do? He wants to watch wrestling. The amount of wrestling I've watched because of Quentin is staggering. Don't blame the boy. You love it. Not as much. I could take doses. And I said, Quinn, we're at half. We'll watch the rest tomorrow. I go, I'm going to grab something here. I'll let you finish up with some laptop, but get your pajamas on, brush your teeth, get ready. And I throw something away. I turn the corner. And as I start to walk up the stairs, I look, because normally he's with me, and I turn around. And he's having a seat. And he bangs his head very hard into the table where he's sitting, where I was sitting right next to him and just got up after saying, let's get out of the chair. And he is seizing violently. And he's in a high chair. And I'm going over there and thinking it's been a long time. Our hope that he'd grown out of these seizures is over. And I have to now get him as he's in the middle of a significant seizure, flailing, potentially hurting himself more out of this chair down to the floor without restricting him so much. And while bringing his head down to the floor. And watching his legs because I can't take him because it's in a spot in our house where there's kind of couple tables. And seeing my son as I've watched him dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of times sees. Or it used to be weekly. Seeing it again caused me to cry while I'm trying to comfort. The most amazing person that I believe will ever walk the planet. And I get, I am 100% bias. I hope you feel the same way about all of you. And I trust me, I will walk through fire for Hunter and Griffin. And my feelings from Mike are right about the same. Quentin is just everything's had to overcome. He just has a special place in our hearts and just watching him and going through this.

and seeing his nose where we still don't know if it's broken because we need the swelling to go down. And that's Monday night. When I chat with Kathleen, my ex-wifeer, when we were texting, he was still sound asleep late into this day because it wipes him out so much. And so now these are back and this, you know, we're swallowing issues. And there are two very important people in my life. who are battling significant health issues themselves. So I just want people to accept that we have a life, and if you believe in God, great if you don't, that's fine also. But when the folks who believe that there is this specific plan, I'll just tell you, there was somebody in my life who I met through his profession who I become very friendly with in about five, six years. when these seizures were happening weekly, told me, well, God has picked you, and God only gave you this challenge because he knows you can face it. And I walked out of there, and I knew I'd never see this person ever again professionally. I would find someone else because I don't believe God gave my son seizures, become an epileptic, to have this genetic syndrome where he's outlived, and there's not many people have it, but he's outlived hundreds who have this. God doesn't cause two-year-olds to have cancer. God doesn't cause some family to get shot and killed. There is a world that is created that has evil in it, and I agree with that. But how can you justify that there's this plan when it's somebody in your life whose life is incredibly cruel or ends soon? And I'm not telling you not to believe in God are punishing you if you don't. But for me, forcefully stop with this plan. You watch my son seize. You listen to what's happening to when he's drinking and where it's going and where he should go and what that could happen to his life. And you tell me there's God's plan. Get out of here with that. I want text and calls. Agree with me. Disagree with me. It's not the first time I've said this. It won't be the last. And I'm not trying to stop you from your beliefs. You get to wholeheartedly disagree with me. This is a show where we're supposed to be passionate and strong and believe in what we say and be open when people disagree. You know, she's got a, still has a voice. She still has an opinion. And she thought she would give us a ring. So I just happened to check the voicemail as I do most days. Sure. There she was. Donald Trump is not a big fan of Harry and Megan, and so he did make a promise to me before I passed that he would keep them over there, you know, and, imagine that. Donald Trump changing his mind on something. That's rather unusual, isn't he? Isn't he quite the man of his word? Well, I guess maybe not. But it will be interesting to see what happens, all the chaos and all the dromber and all that. It is very interesting, and I look forward to seeing just with all you what happens there. Flight attendant confiscated his wife's unwanted bread roll and dessert rather than allow him to eat it in economy. Give me that. Passion traveling from Aruba to Charlotte. Seated in the main cabin. While his wife received the upgrade, one remaining seat in business class. Where would Dave Harrigan stand on that? Lindsay gets the upgrade. You okay with that? You better? Are you taking it? No, if we've only got one, you do the chivalrous thing and say, honey, go enjoy yourself. I one time didn't do that and was an idiot. What? What a clown you are? I know. It was. So stupid. So dumb. So dumb. I was under a lot of stress at the time and made a really stupid decision. Wife has gluten and dairy allergies. No, and again, it was all my fault. As soon as I sat down, she went up to business class and grabbed the plate, took it back to my seat. Not far. It's just the quick move up there. So the guy gets out of his seat back in the, with the rabble, grabs a plate, zips on back to his normal seat. Exactly. Goes to the laity-da, goes right back. Flight attendant looked at me. Giant disgust. Tecambi Matumbo. Could not halved it and snatch the plate away. Give me that plate. She said couldn't cross the threshold between business and main cabbage. That's the line. That's the line. That's the line. That's the line. Implying that the see-through curtain held certain magical powers that separate the halves from the half knot. When she walked back, I told her it was my wife's food from one D. Okay. I asked if I could switch seats and go eat it up there. Told me, if you switch seats for the remainder of flight, then it's okay. The business class, flight attendant, tried to give it back to her since she couldn't eat it. Then they discarded it. To the business class, flight attendants credit, she said she didn't care. But the other flight attendant was adamant. Ooh. Adamant about... Me not having it. So we also had nearly a flight attendant mutiny there? Yeah. Business. Almost fisticuffs. So main cabin flight attendant says no. We can do this. Yeah. But they had honcho up there in the business class. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah. No, no, no. Where do you stand in this one? I mean.

It's tremendous clownish behavior from the flight attendant courtesy of American Airlines. Talk about a power kick. Who bleeping cares? And by the way, if the next door person complains, suck it up, Buttercup. Yes. When you get the wife or the husband or the friend up there and they are bringing you back something, you don't have to make sure the other 90 of you enrabble. All get the same food. No, you're the rabble. You shouldn't expect that food. And the rabble food is gross and disgusting and expensive. All true. It reminds me of the curb. Everything reminds you of a curb. It does, for sure. Larry's in first class. And he looks and he sees his bathroom occupied. Looks back. with the rabble seems to be open. Okay. So then he had that little blue little rope that goes across. He removes the rope and says he removes the rope. Where are you going from one of the passengers? Going to use better. Your bathroom is up there. That's right. You have to stay up there. You've got the gold toilet. Enjoy it. I have witnessed that before. where people the other way. The other way from the rabble section, when I, I think first class is massively overrated. I'm a rabble flyer. Yeah, you prefer the jump seat, right? Yeah, the wing. Now, this is also from a guy who flew first class with the wolves a lot and the last trip to Ireland. I flew on a... private plane, so fraud meet fraud. Yeah, lottie down. Okay. See, in other words, I'm saying when I pay for it, then it's rabble. I think that's basically what I'm saying. So I did see it when a fellow rabble rouser tried to go up, flight attendant. Favorite radio shows of all time. Do you have one in particular? Oh, man, Phil Hendry. Phil Henry was way up there for me. Unbelievable. He was the most mismatched person at this radio station ever. But when I started hearing Phil Henry down in Florida and elsewhere. I thought he was just brilliant. We, uh, my first radio job. We aired his show late at night. And I just happened to be up late and heard it. I had never, I was not, not familiar with him before. And it was so unique, so different and so utterly hilarious that I, for the couple of years I was working there, if I was going on a trip. Yeah. I was, you know, we were still running CDs at that time. I still had my disc man. So I would record episodes of that show on CDs. Oh, yeah. And that would be my listening. If you can find Phil Henry, seek him out. I got to watch the documentary. Genius. He's a genius. Yes. Absolutely, yes. All right, let's look at. PA and Dubai. Okay. Somebody says, WKRP in Cincinnati, overrated show. Also, not a real radio show. Yeah, exactly. I hate to break to you. Paul Harvey, not a radio show.

Boone and Erickson, a lot of explanation points. At this radio session for pure popularity, it's either Boone and Erickson or canon, right? And shows that had, outside of the talent of the three hosts, nothing in common. Completely, I hear people who, like, say they're similar. I'm like, did you actually listen? I mean, nothing alike. Rush. Rush Limbaugh was so unbelievably impactful for national AM radio stations and... the power and the success and the domination of conservative national talk radio. Because they just have found more talented hosts. That's as simple as that. Yeah. As talented as they have ever come to take that three hours every day, hardly ever a guest. Yeah. And Mr. Snurdley. Yeah. Keep people on the edges of their seats or at the edge of the radio, however you want to say it. Just pounding the Clintons. Howard Stern. Larry King. John Williams, somebody says. Back in the day, Wade Keller had a weekly program. That was on the fan, though. This person thinks on KSTB. I'm 99% certain that Wade was on the fan. Favorite radio shows. How about this one? Garage Logic, Steve Bannon and me. Now, if you want to add Dan to that, in the 90s, until when it can't retire, 97, 98, afternoon drive in this town, your options were Joe when he was firing a fastball. Cannon, still pretty damn good, and I'm damn proud of what we were doing. I think it's a pretty good afternoon drive choices at that point. Yeah, that's all right. KQ. KQ is the most popular radio show in this town. Let's see. Love Mishki when he was on, and I used to love Yates. Bob Yates, knew both, knew Bob for a while reasonably well. No Tommy, I don't know Tommy well, but both extraordinarily talented. Yes, no question about that. Extraordinarily talented. And extraordinarily unique, too. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. When the fan landed Yates, I was euphoric about that because I liked what we were doing in the afternoons, but we needed something in the mornings. And Yates, I listen to Yates constantly.

So nobody had the whole week. And I think Joe had two days and maybe Patrick had one. But just first listening to that, I thought, these guys are so good. And then... Obviously, Joe and Pat, he meant, I know Patrick way better than I know Joe, but I first met Joe when I was seven. Like, I traveled with Joe.
