It's come on and with me over the years. Sometimes we differ, big time, sometimes we don't. Luca Pelley Jr. is the Camden County Commissioner-Director and the city of Camden. Housing values are skyrocketing. In other words, people want houses. They want to go to Camden. Now, the police have done a masterful job, but also, what about Trump and the border? Now, when Luzon before, Camden County has all sorts of things that you cannot cooperate with ice. And, as happenstance last Thursday, not in Camden County, but bordering, I have some sounds from Mount Laurel. the Mount Laurel Starbucks, and we were going to put this in Progressive Women Gone Wild, but we do have a candidate for that, the Progressive Women Gone Wild, Jennifer Welsh. So what happened is these people were perceived to be ICE agents, and essentially these women chased them out of because they didn't want a confrontation with them.

So how long before ice is told, stand your ground, if they were ice? We're in a Starbucks in Mount Laurel, just ordering drinks, not doing anything, not bothering anybody. YouTube.com slash 1210. So this group of women made me, it's a minute and a half video recorded on the Fellowship Road on Thursday, starts as two men stand at the counter, presumably waiting to pick up an offer. Order. Off camera, multiple women can be heard telling the men they should be ashamed of themselves, with one referring to the pair as disgusting. These are the people that are running down the country. These are the very carins, yeah, that's what they are, that would be the first one to be calling the cops on anybody for anything under any reason. My latte is no good. Where are the Mount Laurel Police? I want to know we have the tape of this. Is anybody going to charge him with harassment? Is anything going to happen? The men were wearing jeans in a polo shirt. The other jeans in a t-shirt did not respond and walked out of the store carrying only their phones. Neither wears ice gear or a visible badge. As the men walk toward a large black SUV in the parking lot, at least three women and a man follow them, loudly asking whether they have families. One moment says, how dare you six times? All right, we're going to roll the tape, YouTube.com slash 1210, but you can hear the sound. Then I got a little bit more on this. What should ICE do in situations like this? In other words, These people could be, is this freedom of speech? No, it's not. It's over the line of freedom of speech. You don't have freedom of speech to act in this manner, particularly if you're told, particularly if they are law enforcement. And why in the world is ICE not considered law enforcement? That's part of the problems here. Would these women do it to a cop? Yeah, they might. They're entitled. They're privileged. They're in Starbucks in Mount Laurel. Here's a little bit of how it sounded.

Shame. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You should not be ashamed of yourselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You should be. How can you? I shame to you. How dare you? How dare you? Eyes! Abolish! Shame! Do you not have a family? I just want to know, do you not have a family? How many have you kidnapped? How many people have you kidnapped? How dare you? How dare you? How dare you? How dare you? How dare you? How dare you? Damn shame! That's right. People have family like the cops like you are. What makes it a paper? You would go to your family and you separate everyone else. You want to just get caught with you like a normal. You're not normal people. You are monsters. Nazis. Actual monsters. Slink back into your home. It's just ice right here. Kidnapping people off the street. Out of Starbucks. Damn shame. Get out of here. Go. No coffee. Now, if you have blood running through you, even on a rainy day here in the summer, I'd love to get your reaction. What is it that fuels these people? You can't say it's just a Democrat rhetoric, although there's some of that. There is no doubt. They're entitled. They have in their minds, their tiny minds. These are monsters. These are not people protecting. The very people that would be complaining. Now, I don't think this is just a freedom of speech issue. Freedom of speech doesn't mean if I'm in a Starbucks. uh if i were there you're a you know because of our position on ice and being in talk radio they don't have a right to accost me and uh i'm not sure they're threatening anybody here they're too wimpy for that you're not normal people you're monsters what about your family south jersey collective solidarity collective posted the video they're proud about it They didn't respond to a request from NJ.com. They described themselves as a collection of anti-capitalist abolitionist activists and organizers across South Jersey are fighting for collective liberation. Yeah, they're going to be liberated from their lattes at Starbucks. 855839-1210. Also in the news around ICE is that according to news reports, Citizens Bank or Citizen Bank, They are affiliated, of course, with the Phillies. The Phillies have nothing to do with this, though. And they are not going to be involved with banking transactions, as I understand it, with these private prisons. ICE needs to use private prisons because there is a lot of deportation. You're in, you're out, that kind of thing.

and because we're not going to build prisons for the millions of people that are out there that they might need to deal with, so they rely on private prisons. So here a premier Philadelphia area bank is taking the position. They are going to strike back at ICE in this manner. So it's up to you when you hear that to let them know what you think about it. But this is routine. Here is Tom Homan making the case. Why should it be, this is cut 10, Henry. Here's Holman talking about why should he need bodyguards to go and buy a court of milk. Guys, all you say just are mom and dads too. They don't hang their heart on a hook every day to do this job. And it's just not attacking the ice ages, it's attacking their spouses and children. And no one knows that better than me. I can't even go get a quarter of milk at a grocery store without a security detail. Why? Because I'm on force and law in this country. It's pathetic and it's disgusting. Thanks, Tom. Thank you, Mr. Oman. All right, so on and on it goes. So I'll ask Lou about this. I'm glad he's coming on. The last time we had him on, he went after President Trump. But I want to know, isn't it true? At least the border has helped to make Camden safer. Camden is safer, in my estimation. I don't say that likely. How do we explain to 4% up of growth in housing value right now? We went through the murder rate the other day, which is down, et cetera. I'm still skeptical of large parts of Camden, but the police, we've had on the chief, they've done an outstanding job. But ICE is law enforcement too. And these women, mainly, and the one guy, they're in Mount Laurel, this is out of control stuff. They weren't even identified as ICE. They perceived that they might be ICE. It's just endless. Of course, we have the guy, the maniac in New York. You saw the footage by now where he throws a gasoline, runs up like a maniac with a big amount of gasoline and throws a match, almost lights himself on fire to light the building right about where ice is in New York. This is all out. That's what they're engaged in here. That's what we're seeing. There is no end to this. And that's why Tom Homan is very smart to try to make sure, like these car stops, he wants to limit ICE being engaged in them because people get killed, not just people that are here to be deported. So he wants to do a sound or safer approach. I differ with the president on this. I think Tom Homan is deporting people, but he's trying not to give the other side because the media... feast on this, the ability to pounce and make ice every day just shooting someone like these women in the Mount Laurel Starbucks. 855, 839, 1210. Give me a reaction to it. What is it that fuel set? That's not just the rhetoric of Democrats. That's a group of people who are morons, particularly these women, that are playing the shame card and the monsters and your family.

And we're supposed to put up ICE agents' identity out there. Imagine what it's like to be a family member. 855, 839, 12, 10. That's how you get in. Side question today. Henry and I talked about yesterday, Field of Dreams. The Phillies have a special uniform for that. I like it a lot better than that nonsense on Friday night uniforms. Maybe even some said it's better than some of their... road uniforms but it's a pretty nice uniform so we started talking about field of dreams nostalgia we are looking for something that you are nostalgic about maybe you hear yourself talking about it maybe it's something that used to be I think we talked about it last week with appliances with frigid air capitalism, how the appliance maybe was better than than it is now. Well, it didn't have as much building obsolescence as it does now. The one I'm going to take off that I'm nostalgic for, Roe is too. It's ridiculous to start school before Labor Day. particularly now. Think about it. You can zoom if it's a snow day, all that nonsense. So you can't blame snow days. No, they just want to start before Labor Day. Why? Well, you know, we don't want to get into the summer. Well, you have all those snow days. You just declare them Zoom days. One in football I'm nostalgic for. I'd like to see more passes caught actually said they were caught. rather than Al Michaels on super slow motion saying, oh, I see the ball moving. And I'd like to hear more times it was a fumble rather than some cockamamie. Oh, no, that wasn't a fumble. So I would change those two dynamics. Henry, how about yours? Yeah, how about it take a sports one off the board for starts with last night's Phillies game. I know we're going to talk more about that. But Trey Turner, despite having two home runs and a great day at the play, it was absolutely abysmal in the field committing what I counted to be four errors, yet was only charged with one. Can we go back? Can we be nostalgic for holding players accountable and giving them the errors they deserve? Can we score the game the way it should be? I think you're really on something. I think that's almost scandalous. There's way too many cheap base hits from him not getting his glove down. Because they don't know what to do. He doesn't want to move to the outfield. He shouldn't be playing shortstop. We're in the middle of a pennant race. If you give him four errors. Oh, my God. I can imagine what WIP is saying. But I agree. The guy can't play shortstop. Yeah, and it's ridiculous. And it's not doing anyone any favors by, you know, codulent like that. Exactly. And then another one I'll take, I guess it's for more like 2000s kids, when your teacher.

would roll the TV on a stand into the classroom with the VCR player or the DVD player or whatever it might been at that point and just got to watch a movie for class. The E.D. Squad. Yeah. You know what happened with that one? One of the reasons, I think. Remember the Challenger? They wheeled those TVs in. The teacher was on board. Boom. Oh, my God. Yeah, that's a tough one. Oh, get TV out of there. Yeah. Those are both great ones, though. You like that. Which one do you remember? Do you remember one? I don't think it was more just like movies. It wasn't necessarily like live TV. Oh, movies. Oh, okay. Like, I don't, did anything really happen? Maybe the Boston bombing, I remember watching in class, but like that's about it. Yeah, that is, that's a good nostalgia. Well, I don't like remembering it like that. Yeah, a lot of these involved, you know, like movies, you know, and the teachers hung over. Yeah, a lot of these involve more low tech versus the high tech that we have. Yeah. It's Toy Story. It's the toy versus the electronic gadget. Um, Kirk, how about yours? Um, I'm going to go with two. Um, so as a kid, I love going to the, to this day, I would love going to one to an arcade. I would pump those quarters in any video game, the hottest video games. Back then, the graphics were like subpar, but they were fantastic. So I would, I would, that's something Bernal style to me. And the second is newspapers. I mean, not the national like Washington Post and New York Times, but the local newspapers that can, you know, get every Sunday morning. I would like go at it, like read it cover to cover. So I think newspapers, local newspapers are nostalgic. The Sunday paper, you can't curl up with a cup of coffee or tea with your computer in the same way you could with the Sunday paper. That is a real good one. Yep. All right. So here's what we do. 8558, 3, 9, 12, 10. me your reaction any number of these women are probably trying out to be the audience picture them as kind of these uh mini audience for that jennifer welsh and her sidekick that we play you monsters monsters that's all they have to scream what should they do there if they stand there and say we're waiting for our starbucks just shut up oh man here we have an incident here we go They don't even know if they're ice off. Yeah, she went against the Sepp, which is kind of the religion in the show, and they publicly shamed her for it by stripping her clothes and making her walk through the town as a woman behind her with a bell rings it and yells shame. Yes, let's get that over to Mount Laurel. Hey, Mount Laurel, are you investigating that? Oh, isn't that freedom of speech? No, no, no. I don't think that's freedom of speech. These women, that guy with them, they're nonsense around ice. These would be the first bunch of Cairns that would be screaming for the cops in their little insulated whirl of Mount Laurel. So, we're in a contest here. Here's my point, though. You can't just go off half-cocked here because of what they're doing. I like the Tom Homan approach. Trump is wrong. when homing curtailed that you had a bit of a lull here on the car stops trying to recalibrate that we don't want people to get away but we don't want to have any more ability of the media to make a circus out of it as ice does their work so i like the homin approach homing is emotionally involved but he's very smart look at what when he went to minnesota versus bovino and christina ome how he calmed things but ice is still doing their job It is ridiculous. They don't even know if they're ice agents, though. And what Starbucks do? Did Starbucks do anything? Did they call the cops in that? Oh, isn't that freedom of speech? What are you kidding me? Do you think people want to sit down in Starbucks and bunch of people go wild in their face? They drive them out? You tried doing that. You tried doing that on something else and see what happens to you. See how quickly Starbucks calls the cops. We've been through this before, haven't we? Remember those two people that wouldn't leave was at the Starbucks downtown Philadelphia and the big national uproar over at around race? Not sure if it was a Starbucks or not, but I believe it was. All right, let's go get on the side question too. Something you're really nostalgic about. I just thought when I told Roe and a couple of other people, it was a great question, the field of dreams, the Phillies uniforms. What is it? And Henry, when looking around for what people think about this, I saw that the claim that generation... Was it X or Z? It may have been Generation X of stolen nostalgia. In other words, they may not have had some of these things, but they're nostalgic for them anyhow.

That's pretty good nostalgia when you didn't even experience, but you know this seems like it was better than what we have in certain areas today. Yeah, I can see that being like a Gen Z, Gen Alpha type thing where there's no monocultural anymore, right? There's not one thing everyone's all focused on. So there's not really a culture to go off of. So what do you do? You pick and choose from other kind of, you know, nostalgic things from the past, whether, you know, some people might have a more 70s look to them. Some people might dress like it's the 80s. Some people might dress like it's the 2000s and they're punk rock. But yeah, I do kind of see that. I see that everywhere. I'll give you extreme nostalgia. I reject extreme nostalgia and hat wearing up today. Either the baseball hat wearing of the last... 15 years or the fedoras, I'm not wearing any more than them. I'm not nostalgic for hats. Well, yeah, if you wear a fedora, you got, you got some problems. Well, some baseball hat all over the place, too. I mean, you mess up your hair. Come on. Some people, well, they wear it primarily because they don't have hair. Well, that's true. On that, I agree. You know, that's the one wearable excuse. I condone anything if you don't have hair. plugs, hats, whatever you do, I think that's all fine. I'm in agreement with. Let's go to Joe in Columbus, speaking of hair, on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Joe, good morning. Good morning, Dom. Hey, Dom, I was thinking about this the last few days. You know my feelings, Trump versus Reagan and how we could consider that to play out in the next 15 to 20 years. But I'm wondering at this point if Iran played Trump and Trump's propensity and inclination to negotiate. Because... You know, my deadline for tolerance was Memorial Day. We're well beyond that. Yeah. And Joe, you know what? You know, you have a great point there. I don't know that they're that shrewd. I'm getting what you're saying. This guy likes deals and back and forth. I think it's just what they always do. And Trump's flaw of liking to negotiate by happenstances playing into it. In other words, they do this against everybody. This is their tactic constantly. Well, yeah, but I think Trump is even more vulnerable knowing his track record and his person. I agree. You know, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to say, hey, let's play on that. The guy loves a good fight. He likes a good debate. He likes a good negotiation. Let's run with that. And, I mean, this just occurred to me the last couple of days. Well, Joe, let me ask you the question I was going to get to later because this ice thing really got to me. Laura Ingram will play it later. Last night said, get out of Iran in some way, shape, or form before the midterms. We can't be in Iran as we run up on the midterms. Do you agree with me? Yeah. Yeah, only because I thought it would be over by now. Absolutely. Because if we're in Iran, if we are in Iran in this manner, somewhat like this.

even somewhat like it, as we head toward the midterms, we're not going to win the midterms. That's what I see. That's purely fuel for fodder at that point. And it goes back to, like I said, my tolerance level. You know, make a difference, you know, come the summer. You know, when the weather changes, everybody is out in the backyard. They have something good to talk about. It's not happening. And I don't think Reagan would have tolerated at this point these onward, repetitive negotiations. No, I agree with you, Joe. I agree. What's your side today? On my side was that early morning staple when the school principal would come over the intercom, whether, well, not just in school, but even at summer camp, where children would raise to their feet, put their hands over their heart, and collectively and understand the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance. Yeah, a big moment. Joe, we're going to play it later too. Did you happen to see the older guy who slapped the kid because he wouldn't stand for the Star Spangled Banner at the Cubs game? You know, I taught in Camden, et cetera, and know it fairly well, and I've seen the progress, but... the housing market up 4% joining us to talk about that and why that is and how this is calculated, et cetera, because it's a real feather in the cap is Lou Capelli Jr., Camden County Commissioner Director. Lou joins us again on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Lou, thanks for coming on, and congratulations. What can you tell us about this? Thanks, Tom. We believe this is a reflection of the improvements in public safety in Camden City. We always thought that once we had crime under control, that the housing market would begin to take off in the city, and that is happening. In addition, we've seen some improvements in the education system as well. So when you improve public safety and you improve the education system, you will ultimately see an increase in property values.

Lou, so the property value, what does that mean up 4%, which is gigantic in just one year, I guess, as it's calculated? Yeah, I mean, what that means is the sale price of an average home in Camden City over the past year has increased 4% over the previous year. We are seeing homes being sold in Camden City at this point for over $300,000. We have a residential development about to take place where they're anticipating some row homes along the river to sell for somewhere around $500,000. You know, getting the population increased in the city of Camden is needed in order to support the businesses. And getting people with spending power in the city is just as important. Well, I think the police, and we've gone through this in great detail, I've done a really good job. 500,000 of people are driving off the road, low, in Camden, and you said, Roe House. You know, in Philadelphia, we heard voices. We talked about Kensington is seeing a bit of an uptick, and then you hear people saying the word gentrification, etc. We know there can be some... things you have to work with here when you have this type of surge, $500,000 coming in, what's your stance on this, that issue? I usually see it is pretty fraudulent. We ought to be happy that a house might sell for $500,000 in Campton. Right. And here's the great thing about all this in Camden City. There's so much vacant land that gentrification does not need to take place. So most of the new homes that will be built in the city will be built on properties that are either vacant right now with no dwellings on them or on property in which dwellings have been vacated and will be demolished in the future. So gentrification is not an issue for us in Camden City. What is the biggest thing police are doing? I think the wintertime book of statistics, there were no murders, no homicides. So what is it they're doing exactly? It's a couple of different factors, Dom. First, this is partnering with the residents of the city. There's a true partnership between our policemen and policewomen and the residents. Those lines of communication are vital to preventing and solving crimes. In addition, we're using technology as a force multiplier through drones, through cameras, through shot spotters.

But aside that Camden was no longer the Camden that we all grew up with and where I taught and all the ills that are there. Are businesses coming back to Camden? Do you see that? We do see that. There are several new businesses. But the next challenge, Dom, what we have to do is get more people living in the city. And the only way to do that is through new residential development. I know the mayor, Mayor Carsorphin and others in the city are being very aggressive and attracting these residential developers. And then you heard Luke Capelli, I didn't want to get them in trouble, talking about choice, charter schools, Renaissance schools. That's a whole system inside the Camden schools. If you have decent education at least, So I would say this, based upon not a up and down analysis, could it be that the Camden school system is actually better than the Philadelphia school system at this point? That seems to be one of the indicators people believe. I mean, we know the Philadelphia schools are fraudulent up and down the line. They're the epitome of it. I have been forever. Wait a minute, Bill, I hear you, but Brian Fitzpatrick violates that all the time. He just said, I'm only going along with this gig because that's how I have to run in a primary. He violated it. He's representing the Republican Party this November. He's on the Republican ticket. I'm going to vote for him. Okay, that's fair. And what's the alternative? Like I said, Bob Harvey? No, I would say, if I were in Bucks County now, I would not vote for Brian Fitzpatrick. I'd write something in, and I know for years I've said we've got to put up with this. Then you're giving Harvey a vote. Okay, that's one way of seeing it. I can no longer, Bill. The union stuff is fine with most of them. I can't with the NEA. The only Republican in the country. Like I said, the FOPC County supports them. Excuse me. For eternal order of police of Bucks County supports Brown's perspective. That's fine, but the NEA is anti-American. Let's face it. I can't support that. So does the PSEA. They do too. They're anti-American also. They're both anti-American. They're another one. Why does he need those endorsements? He's got the FOP. He's got the other unions. He does it. He's got all the building trades. You know it from, you know, local 19 everywhere. Why pursue the NEA? How could you pursue the NEA for an endorsement? I don't know if he did that or not. I don't know. That I don't know. Okay. I think he did. But, you know.

Yeah, maybe he did. I just don't know. And I know the punch poll interview. I get all that. I understand that. I know that he wishes this was an open primary state. It's not plagued by the rules you have. That's what we got. Now, until we can get a better primary person, we've got to stick with him for now. That's all. And the majority of bucks voters are going to do that. I respect you on this. It's reasonable what you're saying, but I'm on the other side now. I am. okay yeah i can no longer i can no longer do that it's it's this the final final thing for me it's too close to home with just look at their convention what they've been doing recently and a march on washington he's the last republican congressman in the five-county area i hear you but you know what if it's not it's not bill i just can't in good conscience be that voice anymore but what's your side oh my side is uh Saturday afternoon at the movie theater, watching cartoons, eating popcorn.
