In other words, These people could be, is this freedom of speech? No, it's not. It's over the line of freedom of speech. You don't have freedom of speech to act in this manner, particularly if you're told, particularly if they are law enforcement. And why in the world is ICE not considered law enforcement? That's part of the problems here. Would these women do it to a cop? Yeah, they might. They're entitled. They're privileged. They're in Starbucks in Mount Laurel. They described themselves as a collection of anti-capitalist abolitionist activists and organizers across South Jersey are fighting for collective liberation. Also in the news around ICE is that according to news reports, Citizens Bank or Citizen Bank, They are affiliated, of course, with the Phillies. The Phillies have nothing to do with this, though. And they are not going to be involved with banking transactions, as I understand it, with these private prisons. ICE needs to use private prisons because there is a lot of deportation. You're in, you're out, that kind of thing.

and because we're not going to build prisons for the millions of people that are out there that they might need to deal with, so they rely on private prisons. So here a premier Philadelphia area bank is taking the position. They are going to strike back at ice in this manner. So it's up to you when you hear that to let them know what you think about it. But this is routine. Here is Tom Homan making the case. Why should it be, this is cut 10, Henry. Here's Holman talking about why should he need bodyguards to go and buy a quart of milk. Guys, ice ages are mom and dads too. They don't hang their heart on a hook every day to do this job. And it's just not attacking the ice ages, attack on their spouses and children. And no one knows that better than me. I can't even go get a quarter of milk at a grocery store about a security detail. Why? Because I'm on forces this country. It's pathetic and it's disgusting. But I want to know, isn't it true, at least the border? has helped to make Camden safer. Camden is safer, in my estimation. I don't say that likely. How do we explain to 4% up of growth in housing value right now? We went through the murder rate the other day, which is down, et cetera. I'm still skeptical of large parts of Camden, but the police, we've had on the chief, they've done an outstanding job. But ICE is law enforcement too. And these women, mainly, and the one guy, there in Mount Laurel, this is out of control stuff. They weren't even identified as ice. They perceived that they might be ice. It's just endless. Of course, we have the guy, the maniac in New York. You saw the footage by now where he throws a gasoline, runs up like a maniac with a big amount of gasoline, and throws a match almost lights himself on fire to light the building right about where ice is in New York. This is all out. That's what they're engaged in here. That's what we're seeing. There is no end to this. And that's why Tom Homan is very smart to try to make sure, like these car stops, He wants to limit ICE being engaged in them because people get killed, not just people that are here to be deported. So he wants to do a sound or safer approach. I differ with the president on this. I think Tom Homan is deporting people, but he's trying not to give the other side because the media... feast on this, the ability to pounce and make ice every day just shooting someone like these women in the Mount Laurel Starbucks. 855, 839, 1210. Give me a reaction to it. What is it that fuels that? That's not just the rhetoric of Democrats. That's a group of people who are morons, particularly these women, that are playing the shame card and the monsters and your family.

So there's not really a culture to go off of. So what do you do? You pick and choose from other kind of, you know, nostalgic things from the past, whether, you know, some people might have a more 70s look to them. Some people might dress like it's the 80s. Some people might dress like it's the 2000s and they're punk rock. But yeah, I do kind of see that. I see that everywhere. I'll give you extreme nostalgia. You know, I taught in Camden, et cetera, and know it fairly well, and I've seen the progress, but... the housing market up 4% joining us to talk about that and why that is and how this is calculated, et cetera, because it's a real feather in the cap is Lou Capelli Jr., Camden County Commissioner Director. Lou joins us again on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Lou, thanks for coming on, and congratulations. What can you tell us about this? Thanks, Tom. We believe this is a reflection of the improvements in public safety in Camden City. We always thought that once we had crime under control, that the housing market would begin to take off in the city, and that is happening. In addition, we've seen some improvements in the education system as well. So when you improve public safety and you improve the education system, you will ultimately see an increase in property values. Lou, so the property value, what does that mean up 4%, which is gigantic in just one year, I guess, as it's calculated? Yeah, I mean, what that means is the sale price of an average home in Camden City over the past year has increased 4% over the previous year. We are seeing homes being sold in Camden City at this point for over $300,000. We have a residential development about to take place where they're anticipating some row homes along the river to sell for somewhere around $500,000. You know, getting the population increased in the city of Camden is needed in order to support the businesses. And getting people with spending power in the city is just as important. Well, I think the police, and we've gone through this in great detail, I've done a really good job. 500,000 of people are driving off the road low in Camden, and you said, Roe House. You know, in Philadelphia, we heard voices. We talked about Kensington is seeing a bit of an uptick. And then you hear people saying the word gentrification, etc. We know there can be some...

things you have to work with here when you have this type of surge, $500,000 coming in. What's your stance on this, that issue? I usually see it is pretty fraudulent. We ought to be happy that a house might sell for $500,000 in Campton. Right. And here's the great thing about all this in Camden City. There's so much vacant land that gentrification does not need to take place. So most of the new homes that will be built in the city will be built on properties that are either vacant right now with no dwellings on them or on property in which dwellings have been vacated and will be demolished in the future. So gentrification is not an issue for us in Camden City. What is the biggest thing police are doing? I think the wintertime book. of statistics there were no murders no homicides so what is it they're doing exactly It's a couple of different factors, Dom. First, this is partnering with the residents of the city. There's a true partnership between our policemen and policewomen and the residents. Those lines of communication are vital to preventing and solving crimes. In addition, we're using technology as a force multiplier through drones, through cameras, through shot spotters. All of that combined has resulted in the reduction of crime. Lou, would you give credit? Because the last time we had you on, we went back and forth on President Trump and some of the rhetoric to the border being in shut down mode. And we'll put ICE aside for a moment. But the removal, everyone agrees of substantial numbers, at least nationwide, of people who were criminals. And I think Camden probably had legal immigration. So would you say that plays into it? I would say on a national basis it probably does. I'm not sure how much of an impact it had in Camden City because there has been ice activity in Camden City. And as far as we know, all of it has been related to removing people who have been charged with crimes or convicted with crimes from the city. So that is certainly helpful if that is taking place on a national level. So yeah, I mean, listen. The borders are probably open far too wide in the past and having people removed from this country who are committing crimes and who are dangerous to something that will help reduce crime throughout the nation. What are Camden schools doing, in your view, to be more effective? Are you saying you have a metric? You're seeing test scores reading math or something else? Mm-hmm. So what it is is that there's a true competition among schools in Camden City. We have the Renaissance schools, which was a type of school that was put in place by Governor Chris Christie and the legislature when he was governor, which is a modified charter school. We also have charter schools, and we have the public district. So they're all competing.

for students. And competition improves quality. And that's what we're seeing throughout the school district. We've a new superintendent on board who's doing a great job as well. So listen, why should there not be competition among schools? Lou, you were good enough to come on. I want to strike those from the record for you because you know, I had to have that in certain circles in the Democrat Party now in that... Really, we all know that works. And as you know, I'm a big fan of charter schools, of any form of choice with parents. And I think you're right. Is there a waiting list, do you know, for the charter schools? Some in Philadelphia, I think it's 40, 50,000 they have for the charter school waiting list. If you have charter schools, but you can't get in, they're not effective. So do they have enough? Is that what you think? Yeah, I think we do. I'm not sure exactly the answer to that question, whether or not there's a waiting list, but I know for a fact that student performance is improving because the schools are improving. And one of the reasons why the schools are improving is there's competition for students. Absolutely. But, you know, I want to be there and cover the first $500,000 house in Camden and $300,000. Okay. Because I think that is, that's a story that should be told. I think the beginning of that was when there was trouble at some event there and you knew it was people in Philadelphia and you said, this is Camden, take that back to Philadelphia. It was both embarrassing for Philadelphia. That was the Fourth of July a few years back, right? Yeah, that Camden was no longer the Camden that we all grew up with and where I taught and all the ills that are there. Are businesses coming back to Camden? Do you see that? We do see that. There are several new businesses. But the next challenge, Dom, what we have to do is get more people living in the city. And the only way to do that is through new residential development. I know the mayor, Mayor Carsorphin and others in the city are being very aggressive and attracting these residential developers. And I think over the next year, there will be a substantial number of announcements regarding new homes being built in the city for people of all-income groups. Well, Lou, nice work. If you have decent education at least, So I would say this, based upon not a up and down analysis, could it be that the Camden school system is actually better than the Philadelphia school system at this point? That seems to be one of the indicators people believe. I mean, we know the Philadelphia schools are fraudulent up and down the line. They're the epitome of it. Like I said, Bob Harvey? No, I would say, if I were in Bucks County now, I would not vote for Brian Fitzpatrick. I'd write something in, and I know for years I've said we've got to put up with this. Then you're giving Harvey a vote.

Okay, that's one way of seeing it. I can no longer, Bill. The union stuff is fine with most of them. I can't with the NEA. The only Republican in the country. Like I said, the FOP of Bucks County supports them. For eternal order of police, the Bucks County supports Brown's perspective. That's fine, but the N.EA is anti-American. Let's face it. I can't support that. So does the PSEA. They do too. They're anti-American also. They're both anti-American. They're another one that's support. Why does he need those endorsements? He's got the FOP. He's got the other unions. He does it. He's got all the buildings raised. You know it from, you know, local 19 everywhere. Why pursue the NEA? How could you pursue the NEA for an endorsement? I don't know if he did that or not. I don't know. That I don't know. Okay. I think he did. But, you know. Yeah, maybe he did. I just don't know. And I know the punch poll interview. I get all that. I understand that. I know that he wishes this was an open primary state. It's not plagued by the rules you have. That's what we got. I'm looking at an AP story, the men behind Trump's 347 gas, an NFL coach, a GOP fundraiser, and two New Jersey brothers. Then they go after the brothers in like an investigative piece. It's kind of like 60 minutes taking them down. The inquirer says ethical questions because these Liberty gas stations now are expanding. Yes. Now, in my world, because of how it would drive the other side nuts and give consumers a break, I'd like to see a thousand of them in the next week. I don't know if they'll reach 50 or not, but just these 25 gas stations are driving people nuts. They don't know whether to say, well, they're not at 347 anymore. Some of them are 382 and all the rest. or to make this some CIA plot or something. The inquire says ethical concerns, 25 of them, and even despite that they're going to expand, there's going to be more of them. Well, good. And I'm wondering, I think it was Newman Price, got gas there, and said it was okay. You know, I don't know where that perception comes in. I have it that somehow or another the gas might not be as good as, say, you go to a Sonoco or something. But how about investigating how that Sunoco, the one I tell you about, I went by again, we came down, there's still $4.99. And it's been like that every day, no matter what the rest of the market does, for all time, it says $4.99 and $9.10s up there. And people are ponying up to the pump. So why shouldn't they do it? Yeah. I don't think there's anything illegal, but I think people ought to remember it. All right, there's a rising star. You may have seen him, Brandon Gill, Congressman from Texas, I believe. And almost every week, he's a smart guy, and he has zoned in, this cover going to play you, is with one of the groups that is... in control of, say, the Washington establishment, the cultural institutions, and what are some of the qualities of white supremacy? You're going to hear him ask right out of the box in this confrontation. How in the world is objectivity? Isn't objectivity facts? What goes up must come down, for example. Isn't that something we should be striving for? Now, there are debates over objective facts at time, but objectivity as a driving force, how is that something that is only white and subjectivity ought to be the goal? Henry says he saw Brandon Gill talking in another clip about with these groups. Politeness might be white supremacy. I know that we've seen over the years, and it is so patronizing, so wrong, the idea of speaking white. You don't want to be doing that. You want to be code switching and all that terminology. So listen to this perverted view of the world, that objectivity as a quality, it should be something we're teaching our kids. It should be something where there are certain things that are factual.

I mean, I admit to them even if I don't like the person involved. You can name any number of them right now. Here's the exchange with Brandon Gill. Would you say that the goal of history is to be objective? Thank you, sir, for the question. You know, I think that there are many goals of history and certainly as you collect as we do, examine evidence, create scholarship. Is objectivity one of the goals of history? We strive to be objective and nonpartisan and not based on any idea. So it's one of the goals. Doesn't that seem a little bit concerning. It certainly does to me because as part of this white supremacy document that your organization has promoted. Objectivity is a core in defining aspect of white supremacy culture. Do you think that it's the goal of the Smithsonian Institution to promote white supremacy culture? Sir, do you mind sharing with me which document? White supremacy culture right here. This is part of the mass action toolkit that your organization is promoted for several years now under your leadership.

Are you promoting a white supremacy culture at the Smithsonian? Am I promoting a white? And is this a difficult question? No, sir. I'm just thinking about the mass action toolkit. We didn't develop it. But back to your question, no, we're not promoting any ideology. Does it concern you that? Your goal is objectivity. One of your goals is objectivity and your mass action toolkit references objectivity as a defining characteristic of white supremacy culture. It's not our toolkit. It is your toolkit. You've been promoting it for quite some time. We did not come up with the toolkit, sir. But you've been promoting it. It is used as a reference, I believe, probably in 2019, 2020. Yes, under your leadership, it has been used as a reference. All right, on and on and on with these people. They know exactly what they're doing, and then we get into the weeds fighting over. Is it ours? Did we promote it? What are you talking about? But the broader thing is they're in cahoots with people telling people all these earmarks of white supremacy. One of them, he's right that they put out there, is objectivity or politeness. or any number of things that are positive qualities, not in their world. Because their argument is somehow or another, other groups don't do them or can't do them, and that's why it's white supremacy. It's stunning, and this seeps into the schools. The NEA is one of them, and that's another reason why Brian Fitzpatrick accepting the chasing as the only Republican, the endorsement of the NEA. If I were in Bucks County, I couldn't vote for this guy. There's no way. Building trade, sure. You know, I differ with them on something, union wages here, that, or the other. But by and large, they're patriots, they're pro-American. How they can stomach the N.A. A lot of, if you're a union guy in that, so you can't stomach them. You know what they're about. They're not about your America, a nostalgic America. Their America steps on that nostalgia. That's what the NEA, PSEA, NJEA, AFT. That's what they're teaching. That's what they're about. They want to organize students, kids, kindergartners in a march on Washington against Trump. We ought to support them before the midterms. Let's say they turn out a bunches, thousands and thousands of little kids screaming about Trump. Could any reasonable person then vote for anybody that's in cahoots with the NEA? People who stubbornly have jumped a price up that's way beyond any market value that I can see and are holding that. Both of them have the right to do it.

Why are they investigating because of Trump? And they're expanding now. What does that tell us? Well, it may tell us they have found some price point, something they're doing that's good for their business. And when we get out of all this, people are going to stick with them potentially. It could tell us that. Whatever they're doing, though, I like the fact that somebody can go there, pay for gas at 347 versus 499. It's common sense. I'll give you details on that. Public pressure influenced them that this was not a good policy, was overly intrusive, and somebody got shot when police... Police surround and I think in Chicago, formerly known as Flock Raven, now called audio detection. And we've been through this before with the cameras. And I mean, how many cameras are how we cut down on crime. What does it? Well, I think what does it are punishments that are appropriate and punishments that you know are going to happen swiftly and are going to happen routinely. That's what does it. What's going on right now in Iran is exactly why I was extremely concerned and said to buddies of mine, I thought it was a big mistake back on February 28th. So, you know, we'll learn over the coming months and years why Trump made the decision that he did. But I think the midterms are completely at risk. I think you're... voters who were on the margins, all the gains he made in 2024 between Hispanic males, black males, all those voters, listen, it's the economy stupid. And so if gas is four bucks, 429, 379, whatever it might be, I mean, that hits the middle class and the poor, the hardest. So.

Yeah, you're right. And the expression you used on the margins, Marty, I am really convinced, I would say otherwise, that this is going to be very close. I'm talking between two, three, four, five seats one way or another that one party is going to, there's not going to be a blowout on the part of Democrats and certainly not Republicans, but Republicans have the home court advantage redistricting the Supreme Court decision. And that the public hates the Democrats, too. All we have to do is give them something that is energetically bringing them out to vote and taking away something on the margins, the Iran war that is not. And I see a slight majority that we're going to win. Yeah, and Dom, maybe I've missed it, but to this point, I still have not heard one specific reason why we're fighting this war. I've heard multiple reasons, but that says to me that the mission is unclear, and that's never a good thing, especially in a war situation. And now just real quick, and I want to get to the flock thing, but now we're in that cycle, we're in that vicious cycle of, well, two U.S. soldiers were killed, so now we must retaliate. And then there's a retaliation to the retaliation. That's what makes it hard to get out of a war. So it's not then as well. There's 100 million people in Iran. They've got a revolutionary guard of 250,000 men. it's not the same thing as going in and out of Venezuela. No, and it's religious fanaticism. They don't seem to care about the cost there. In Venezuela, yeah, they may be ideological and all that until there's punishment, then there's not so much. Martin, what's your comment on flock? Yeah, so real quick on that. So that's been approved and however for a township, there are some flock cameras here. I plan to go to future meetings and see if that can be revisited because... I know there's some court cases about it, and the issue with fly cameras to me, um, police departments, uh, are advocating for them because, yes, more data, license plate readers and so on. But as you've already mentioned, they're collecting more data than that. And it becomes a fourth amendment issue against unreasonable search. Because if they're analyzing your bumper stickers too, which AI can, and the dents and the dinks that you have in your car and potentially see inside your vehicle, potentially, that's unreasonable search. And I do hope that there are some cases that start winning for folks who are suing on those grounds. Yeah, and Haberford Township seems to be the center of the universe of a lot of things here that are typical of the left, or at least liberals, and this is one of them versus what we know with crime, what cuts down on crime, police force, enough manpower, punishment that is appropriate, and sure, you know what's going to happen, yeah.

And one more quick point. I think the budget impact is what's driving a lot of this. So they need to have one less police officer if they put up flock cameras. And guess what? I'd rather pay for the police officer. I would rather pay for human beings to be running the police force and have a for township than some $2,500 year block camera. Forget it. I value my liberty more than that kind of cost. That is well put. Marty, I don't know where you've been, but great call. What's your side? My side, I am nostalgic, Dom, for the days before smartphones. Bring me back the landmines, and we all actually went outside and talked with each other. So the flock cameras people now are saying reversing. the surveillance technology vendor most known for its extensive network of automated license plate readers as announced it will end a pilot for its acoustic gunshot detection devices to identify signs of human distress The suspension of distress detection does not mean these high-powered microphones are now magically safer beyond our concern. They're still dangerous and often inaccurate as resulted in real-world harm. Chicago resulted in police shooting at children lighting fireworks. So remember way back to the Super Bowl, they played this ad and they said, you know, a puppy was found today. I think nationwide 11 or 12 dogs or cats were found. Great stuff. But what's the price to pay for this? Well, nothing, Dom. You know, why can't we have cameras? Uh-oh, why can't we have a camera where you are? People on the boardwalk looking in here. Close those drapes. Come on now. Is that really enhancing our life, to Marty's point? I don't think so. I think it's too invasive. I think the things that cut down on crime? You can have all the cameras in the world. All right, I got Larry Krasner. I have all the cameras in the world. I'd rather not have Larry Krasner. We know what cuts down on crime. That means we have to put up a better candidate next time. And that's what makes the party. In the case of Tomlinson, for listeners on that, that is even more unforgible, if possible, trying to take away scholarships from low-income, middle-income families to curry favor with the teachers' unions. What more traitorous act, miserable act, KC, can you engage in? Amazing. That's exactly what I'm talking about. And if we listen to Bill, they would be able to get away with that without end because we would never replace them. The primary process isn't good for changing Republican candidates because we got one we feel safe with and we're afraid to lose the seat. But we can do better. We can do much better. I still think, Dom, if we keep the House and the Senate and we manage to get rid of Fitzpatrick at the same time, that would be a big win-win for me. And lower bucks have to do better next time. I try to take the calculated stance. Given my background and given the school choice issue, the NEA is anti-American, they're holding their convention. Yeah, now it's, I let Ben Rose go out there with the group today to keep them in line. But what a great time to have you in the Wildwoods, I'll tell you that. Well, thank you, Lou. Feel free to pop in here for a cameo because you know my allegiance to the Wild Woods, and every year it gets better. We're talking about our side question today, something nostalgic, and we just had someone who called in with like a 15-point road trip to the Wild Woods. I actually heard that guy. You did. You know, I think I owe them like a travel package or something because that was amazing. I mean, I was listening to the show and I heard the side question, and I was thinking...

That guy couldn't have done a better job than me answering that question. That is the Wildwoods to a T. This is an executive director vote here, Henry, maybe tipping the scales. I've got to consider that. So, Lou, one of the things, too, the Wildwoods, you have the infrastructure here to sell it, but you and Ben Rhodes and others. What you've done, though, that really shows... uh detail and just a different way of thinking i remember i'm not sure if you were executive director not then but when it started with the irish weekend and maybe the cars whatever you do with that the firefighters but then that mushroomed into wildwood is arguably year round at least it goes into novemberish etc And that never was. People take it for granted, but that was just the last number of years. It's become an established fact. Oh, yes. Yeah, the events that we have going on, you know, we have 160 events all throughout the year. And, you know, the fall down here is just as nice as the summer. Sometimes a little nicer because you can get a cheaper rate. You can get a... You can have a little more space to get around, but everything's still open. Everything's still flowing. We have a lot going on. You know, September is jam-packed, as you mentioned, with the Irish Festival. Now we've got the air show. You get into October, and we have the Italian festival that occurs every year in Fox Park. And it flows right into November when we start doing some bonfires on the beach, Christmas events, which... We have two Christmas events. You can either make the one in December during the holiday seasons or coming up this weekend, we have a bunch of Christmas and July activities. And it's perfect because if you're not quite sure which list you're on, this gives you an opportunity for a six-month check-in with Santa Claus and find out if you still have time to get onto that good list. uh i see it uh the homes particularly more of the center of town i've seen over the years and we'll be down here uh through the weekend uh lou are decorated people get into it it is a big deal to christmas in july and i know in the crest they rolled out at least in previous years a lot of stuff Oh, yeah, and they'll be having a Christmas boat parade that goes along Sunset Lake, a little celebration that goes on before that so you can get something to eat, enjoy some music, and then watch the boats as the night goes on. And, you know, of course, every Friday we have fireworks. and we'll have a golf cart parade that's going out on the boardwalk, dress up your golf carts. Wait, Lou. That's another good touch because I started having fun with this about three years ago. The golf cart account, the week that I'm down here, how many, when did Wildwood become the villages that everybody's going around on a golf cart? It's probably about five or six years now that they've really caught on.

You know, it's just fun. You know, you're on vacation. You don't have a worry because you get in the golf cart. The whole island's 25 miles an hour, so you can get anywhere you want to get. People really seem to enjoy them, open air. Now you even see them with some of the LED lights and some radios, and it's wild. So people have a lot of fun with it. Absolutely, Lou. The next big event then would be the air show. Is that the next biggie? That's the next big one that we got going on right on the Wildwoods Beach. But like I said, there's events going on all the time. If you go to wildwoods nj.com and visit our events calendar, you'll be amazed at the number of things that are happening. You know, we, Thursday, we're going to have ISPW wrestling right here in the convention center. And, you know, I know your favorite event, the tattoo festival comes up in August. Oh, it's amazing. Now, if they're telling us this number, are we going to believe this number, that these people were on the ballots, on the rolls, and we know that they voted. She said this. What are the numbers in close elect? You know, then we, well, you know, not enough to influence the election.

Again, that's why we need not only voter ID. That's why people pick up on the Olive Garden thing. I'm trying to remember there was another one the last couple of days where people made the point of what you need to do. The Olive Garden lifetime pass, what you need to prove versus voting. So you'll get it as this is happening, as we clarify Mikie Sherrill admitting this. I'm going to ask Matt first question, what's making her admit this? You think this would be to the death or something for her to admit something like this? I think what they're going to try to do is to say, hey, you know what, Trump wasn't right. We're on top of it. This is evidence of it. And it's minuscule. This wouldn't change anything. That's always the argument. Move the goalpost. First, they say it doesn't happen. We don't need anything. Now, here's the thing with the Save Act. The Save Act, Republicans are trying to piggyback that, even in the Senate, on the back of one of these budget bills that would be stopgap to get us through a period of time. Republicans, and rightfully so, given the media and everything else, don't want to have another shutdown. Remember what happened the last time with Jack Ciattarelli in the shutdown? I'd think it really heard him. And this would be on the cusp of the midterms. It's infuriating to me every day, and I'm not sure if you're feeling this, to say the midterms are so there for us, the Democrats and the issue, Zohran Mamdani, the face of this, how crazy they are, how anti-American they are. This is winnable. We got the home court advantage due to the Supreme Court decision and then some of the reshaping of districts all across the country. That gives a net 10 to 12 seats to Republicans, you would think. So this is very doable. And you can let me know and say, are you with me? I mean, I'm going to stand on this. You heard Robert. You heard Bill. They both made good cases in Bucks County. I can no longer say, yep, we got to push Brian Fitzpatrick over the top. We need that seat. My God, imagine sitting in the chair quarterbacking our election coverage on election night and saying we've lost the house by one seat and it's Bucks County. That was close, but we lost. I'd hate to have to report that, but I can't do it. The NEA, this is a bridge too far. The NEA is anti-American, anti-parents, anti-everything up and down the line, and so is the AFT. You cannot be supported by them. The only Republican out there, out of what, about 220 and then 250 or so, I would say, that are running for federal office. He is the only Republican. that is endorsed by the NEA, PSCA then endorses, et cetera. Why? Well, you know why. Choice, any Republican that is in the way of that, and if you're in cudes with the NEA, you are. I can't vote for. You have to decide yourself. 855, 839, 12, 10. They... Christian signal. Oh, family values. Oh, my God, these trans people. So that's why you hear Donald Trump saying all the time. It's trans everything. It's transgender for everybody. I mean, this is the guy Donald Trump who thinks the Chipsack has transistors. And he thinks whenever he hears the word trans, that that means trans people. But it works with the base. It works with the base because these people are terrified. Trump. and his cabal of submissive wives are terrified of drag queens, of books, of diversity, of black people, of women, of lesbians, of gay people, of trans people. These people are the softest people imaginable. Yeah, the Trad Wives and the homeschooling, the sidekick the other day of the homeschooling. These seem to be the biggest object that's going on. By the way, this Mikie Sherrill stuff is lighting Twitter up as we speak. One of the reasons obvious here, Democrats want to have drivers licenses. Then they can fool around with voting. legal registration, et cetera. But we have not seen an admission of this. And Matt Rooney has been over this whole thing today. It seems like there's a little too much emphasis. I know it's important, but I don't think, I think doing the right thing's more important than worrying about the midterms. I mean, Trump has a litany of accomplishments in a year and a half. I can read them down and it's long. Well, wait a minute. The right thing is stopping Democrats, really socialist slash communist, from overrunning the country here. If they win, they'll have a leg up toward winning in 2028. And Gary, the damage they can do potentially is irreparable. I understand that completely. But if you have announced of common sense, And look at Trump's accomplishments. And a year and a half he's been in there. I mean, if you are that dumb enough. that think voting for Democrats, I can't think of one accomplishment of the Democrats in the last five years. It doesn't matter, Gary, it's not based as you would on rationality. They're seething to get out there. Look at what they did with Mikie Sherrill versus Jack Ciattarelli. He lost by 14.2 points. Why? He was a surrogate to get at Trump. They know their people are going to turn out. We need to have ours have a reason to turn out. Oh, I agree. I agree with that 100%. But look at the results of Mikie Sherrill, being in there. Look what she's doing. I hear you. With her four years ago, you won't have one accomplishment. I mean, Trump, he closed the border, tax cuts, getting men out of women's sports, getting criminal illegals out of the country, fighting crime, getting rid of that. You don't hear much about fentanyl deaths anymore because the border's been closed and blowing up them boats trying to transport drugs in their country. I mean, you have to go by accomplishments. If people are dumb enough to not understand what did last Democrat administration did in this country, then they deserve what they get. All right. Thank you, Gary. All right, good guy here. And Trump's got to do it with his low propensity voters. He's not doing it yet.

Matt Rooney is the master of nostalgia. although of recent vintage, and he is all over this story that's bursting loose with Mikie Sherrill admitting, yeah, we had illegals on our registration list. It was a glitch, and they voted another glitch. Let's go to Matt Rooney here on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Matt, thanks for being so vigilant on this. When at the shore, it's a little bit difficult to be vigilant, and your text just really set the mood. What can you tell us? Well, and I'll say real quick to, Dom, vigilance is key with those new electric tram cars because you can't hear them coming. Unless you hear the watch, the tram car, they're right on top of you. Have you ever driven one? A couple years ago, the mayor would have me drive it. It went awry a little bit. I didn't see the cement, and I was on the boards for, you know, half a block maybe. Well, look, we're glad you're still with us, Dom. I could have easily gone the other way. No, I haven't been on the tram car in years, I have to admit, not since they redid them. Yeah. But I am the nostalgic sort, although even though you and I have been talking about voter integrity in New Jersey for years, one of these days, I'd like to stop talking about it. I wish that we were wrong. I wish that we were worrying about nothing. But the Trump administration today, I mean, this is really the story, I think, forced the Sherrill administration to admit it. There are thousands of illegal aliens on the voter rolls in New Jersey, and these are the ones that they're just willing to admit to. And we would have never known about it without President Trump's big speech last week.

And a letter the DHS sent to New Jersey, sent to the Cheryl administration, and said, listen, we've already found a bunch of illegals. There could be as many as 35,000 or more. We need answers. Now, this is not a voluntary disclosure, Dom. They were forced to do it. So what has she, first of all, Matt, I'm sure they did this with Pennsylvania too. And I would tell you, Josh Shapiro is of sterner stuff. He will have his flunky Republicans say, no, we're not doing it. What did she admit to? So here's exactly what we know. The Motor Vehicle Commission in New Jersey, all things evil start with the MVC. I get rid of the damn thing, but that's a story for another time. They're admitting to 6,600 registered illegal aliens. that went in to apply for a driver's license or some kind of ID, but then walked out a bona fide registered New Jersey voter. This happened apparently over a one-year period between June 23 and June 2024. They're claiming they've only substantiated that a small fraction of them cast ballots, but guess how many of that is, Dom, reportedly 400. in a state where we've had a number of elections down ballot decided by somewhere between like one and a few hundred votes in recent years. So assuming you even buy those numbers, and I think we're just looking at the tip of the iceberg here, how many times have we been told this doesn't exist, that we're worrying for nothing, that we're inventing election integrity problems to try to delegitimize our institutions here in the United States of America? This demonstrates it. Thank God for President Trump. He's calling out these blue state and purple state governors like Josh Shapiro and Cheryl. And now they're finally having to admit to their malfeasance. Although in Cheryl's case, Dom, you probably didn't get a chance to watch the press conference because you've been on air. It was really something else. She spent half of it blaming Phil Murphy. She didn't say his name. but said this happened under my predecessor, his administration. I had nothing to do with this. People will be held accountable. Last I checked, they were thick as thieves. They're the same party. You know, it's like the left arm blaming the right. This is his, this is his girl. This is his successor. So the whole thing is just unbelievable. If I sound elated folks, it's not... Because this is a good thing. It's a terrible thing from my home state. It's validation of everything that Dom and I and Rich and everybody else at the station have been talking about. My hope today is that now this is finally the beginning of getting to the bottom of it because they can't deny Dom the need for something like the Save Act anymore, at least not credibly.

No, they cannot. And the issue, though, is in them as much as these Republicans in the Senate, Matt. And I wanted to raise this with you. And there is some justification. Ron Johnson, who I've interviewed a few times, and I like him. But, you know, he's very aggressive. They want to tack it on to one of those budget fixes where we continue the resolution and all that stuff. If they do... before the midterms, I think it's September 30th, Democrats will then move for a shutdown, and I think I'm right to say we never win in the shutdown. We can't be cowed by it, and you were one of the guys that was on this with Jack Ciattarelli, I think a little bit post what happened, that that was a bigger driving force than I ever would have expected that shutdown. Oh, sure. Well, because you've got a number of people living in New Jersey, some of them illegal and probably receiving SNAP, who were deeply concerned that they were not going to receive their food stamps, that were not going to receive their government subsidies. So, I mean, even setting the political analysis aside here for a second, I mean, what an indictment of our system where elections turn in large part on whether or not the free government cheese. is flowing. I mean, the only thing I would say about this one, Dom, is every now and then an issue comes along which just has existential implications for the Republic. If we don't find a way to have free elections in a place like New Jersey and places like Philadelphia, I mean, really, it's just a matter of time before we lose this country. You know, occasionally we'll have someone like Donald Trump that stands up and kind of serves as an atlas against the bad guys trying to corrupt our system, but eventually we're going to be overwhelmed. So, I mean, I'm kind of in the camp right now that they need to do whatever the heck they need to get done. to make sure the Save Act happens. Otherwise, we're never going to be able to write the ship in places like New Jersey. I agree. But what they also have to do, Matt, and I wanted to ask you this, this is a question. They have to do a better job. And look, talk radio. We're here to help with this. I've heard some of your interviews on this. They have to publicize if they get the SAVE Act passed, that they did it, how difficult this is, and what it means. Existead, I'm worried about only one thing in this election. I'm worried about those low propensity Trump voters. We have the home court advantage with redistricting. Supreme Court. And the polling indicates that Democrats are only marginally ahead. This is going to be close. What is it that will excite our people to turn? I like the Mike Johnson. The commies are inside the walls. Ron on Zohran Mamdani, who wants to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu, among other things. But what is it that excites? You think the Save Act would?

Well, I think it's part of the equation because the reason why the Trump coalition came together first and foremost is a recognition that our institutions are deeply corrupted. There's no use kidding ourselves about it. And we need someone in the mold of an Andrew Jackson and the mold of a Teddy Roosevelt and the mold of a Trump who is going to, we get these like once every hundred years in this country that come in and just overturn the table. So I think the reason why it's important electorally to lean into this issue is. is because it's a reminder for people, whether they're conservative or not, that there's a reason why they put their face. in Donald Trump. I also am a big believer, Dom, and I was talking about this a little bit this morning on Cailing Company. Part of the reason why we're having trouble fighting off these socialists and commies is because they're fighting with big, bold ideas, and we're not. They're terrible ideas. Free grocery stores, rent freezes, universal income. I mean, these are things that are going to deeply impact our economy. and lead to breadlines that followed a logical conclusion. But if you're a young kid that's stuck in your parents' basement with a useless degree from one of our area universities and you just don't see a path forward, you're willing to consider it. So. I think part of it is authenticity, leaning into things like election integrity or why we wanted him to begin with. But also Republicans need to remember what Ronald Reagan taught, which is that bold colors beat pale pastels. Let's talk again about eliminating government departments, giving money back to the people, universal school choice, especially for the black and brown children in our communities that we know Democrats love to pretend they care about. but most certainly don't. If we do those two things, I'm not saying it's automatically going to rescue the house. History is history, and we have a tight margin, but it could turn a blue wave into a blue ripple for sure. If you want to get rid of these onerous property taxes, free school choice, universal school choice you just mentioned, and the math is impeccable. 100% what that would do, and that's a big, bold idea. Matt, also, you're in the right camp in this. I don't know your pizza, if you're a pizza folder or sauce and gravy guy, whatever you are, we'll forgive that, because you're in the right camp of trying a big map on your Twitter saying there's no central jersey. No, he's not. Well, every now and then I like to troll my friends, right? In person or online, just like we all do. Yeah, and look, I got to be careful with this because this argument almost ended my marriage a few times. My wife is from Middlesex County. She grew up a Giants fan.

and a Yankees fan. If you're from a part of the state where you're surrounded by giants and Yankees fans, you're in New Jersey. I don't care what you have to say about it. It's governed by the media market. I do acknowledge there is a little area that runs from like Friedrich Merz over to like Northern Ocean. that you can find a lot of Philly sports fans. So, you know, I consider that kind of Jersey shore, but it's a very small area. There is no broad central Jersey in my state. It just doesn't exist. It's fantasy. Yep, I couldn't agree more. So, Matt, do you have a Saturday show planned out or anything else you're going to be doing? Well, so it's funny. We actually were going to talk about something entirely different, but I'm kind of ripping up the script right now because we're going to probably have Josh Finley from the Texas Public Policy Foundation or one of our friends back to talk about this New Jersey story. Again, to give the dead horse one more swift kick, we talk about a lot of important issues on this show. I mean, you mentioned... school choice you've always been a leader in that discussion dom but if at the end of the day we go to the polls and it doesn't matter then what the hell is the point so we'll be digging into that and of course a whole lot more you know my producer dan much shorter um than yours um he doesn't show up as regularly as yours does But when he does show up, there's always something kooky that he wants to share with the audience. And usually they like it. I don't know whether it's morbid fascination or not, but it goes over well. Well, Henry's the middle ground now as producer, though. So, Speaker Mike Johnson today was asked in a pretty expansive press conference about would he move to use congressional power to check President Trump and Iran? He pointedly ended his reply by saying, we've got to wrap it up in Iran. And that's his answer appears to be, and I think it is. at least publicly at odds with President Trump. And I pledged your Laura Ingram earlier today, making the case that, yes, if we're still in Iran as we head into the midterms, that is going to be very, very difficult to win the midterms. Do you remember a while back? Yes, absolutely. Yeah, so Matt has been bird dogging today while I'm on the air, Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey, and we had pretty big breaking news. Look, we know this is happening, the president's speech and everything else, but she admitted today, claimed it was in the past, that a goodly number of people that were illegal were registered to vote, that they admitted to, and did vote. Allie, this is the first. particularly a blue state like New Jersey, admitting what we've been saying.

Well, the hilarious part to this whole story is over a month ago, the RNC in New Jersey GOP did a public records request in every single county in New Jersey and already uncovered this. We gave the exclusive to Fox News. It was the number one story for days on their website. And then a month later, finally, Mikie Sherrill coming forward and admitting what we have been saying. This is the crazy part about Democrats. They continue to gaslight Americans and say, oh, this isn't really happening. And time and time again, we're proving that it is. So as far as I'm concerned, I just heard you talking about the Save America Act. There is no excuse moving forward that anybody votes against this common sense legislation, period. Absolutely. Allie, what is you're a communications person? So it's critical on this, that some independent, some reasonable people, they may not buy it, but they're searching at the line, okay, voter ID good. If we do to citizenship stuff, then married women are going to have to go through a mind-boggling gladiator event to be able to vote. What do you say to that? It's simply not true, and it's the fear-mongering rhetoric that Democrats love to say, married women have to change their IDs all of the time. Married women are smart enough to do the same thing when it comes to voting. This is what it's so ridiculous, is to require proof of citizenship to vote or show a photo ID. This is already a common practice that happens in society, whether it's... buying alcohol, at the grocery store, getting your prescriptions at the pharmacy, boarding a plane. This is the way that we operate. There are hundreds of countries around the world that require these common sense protections when it comes to voting and elections. And America is the greatest country on Earth, so there is no excuse. that our elections also aren't the most secure on earth. And the fact that we don't have this law nationally in place shows that we are behind. President Trump, he pealed back, rather, the curtain last week. He provided the proof now moving forward. It's up to Democrats to do the right thing and pass this legislation. Allie, one of the reasons we wanted to talk with you. I did hear you with Matt and maybe people on a Saturday night to get them on during this period is encourage, give us your best sense of what you're up to and what's going to happen next on election integrity that Republicans are fighting tooth and nail and not just fighting but fighting successfully. What can you tell us you guys are engaged in? Well, this is my favorite question. Thank you so much for asking. We love to do it.

Well, listen, there is no one else in the Republican ecosystem other than the RNC that is really leading the fight to protect the ballot box. Right now, we are on track this year to wage the most election integrity litigation. In our party's history, we have 160 active election integrity cases right now in more than 36 states. And we have fantastic news. You and I were just talking about proof of citizenship. And the Supreme Court has agreed to hear our case next term so that we'll be happening this fall, where we are defending Arizona's common sense proof of citizenship law. Democrats continue to try to tear down this legislation that Arizona voters have enacted for many, many years that we have been defending. So we're excited to see that go before the Supreme Court. Not to mention, we have an entire Boots on the Ground operation. We have made a multi-million dollar investment in 17 target states. We have election integrity directors standing by, recruiting poll workers, recruiting poll observers. So I know this is a long answer, but it's because, listen, we have a lot going on to protect our elections. Well, the longer, the better. That's all what our people want to hear. They want to be fired up over this, Allie. We're the station for this. We actually had someone, Linda Kearns, who people have elevated to fill in a host and everything else because of her efforts. Al Schmidt has actually come on the show, Secretary of State in Pennsylvania. He is a pivotal figure because Josh Shapiro has been running for president since first grade. And Al Schmidt is a Republican. Republican on paper, anyhow. And Josh Shapiro can say, I got a Republican right here, and he says everything's okay. Any thoughts with Jersey now admitting to this of what do we do in Pennsylvania next? Well, here's the bottom line. Our elections, no matter which state in America, are not okay. 220 million Americans' voter information was stolen by Chinese foreign interference. President Trump showed that there are hundreds of thousands of non-citizens on our voter rolls nationwide. President Trump showed that. It was admitted today by Democrat Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey. So the notion... that elections are secure is a myth. And when it comes to, you know, your state and what we can do, listen, the RNC is actively monitoring everything that is happening to make sure that elections are protected there as well as every other state around the nation. We also launched the largest ever public records request, which included your state to make sure that voter roles are accurately maintained. That is how we stop people, dead people, non-citizens. In California, we found a dog on the voter rolls from getting ballots. I mean, it is wild that we're even having to do this to defend the ballot box because what I will say, President Trump said a great thing at the end of his address that no matter what your political party is, Republican, Democrat, Independent, you should want secure elections. And this is not.

Republicans cannot let this become an endless distraction, especially if they want to win in November. All right. So I agree with her and I also agree with Mike Johnson. that this is a critical moment to find some solution to this versus just this continuous bombing. And the critical thing, of course, is the Strait of Hormuz. That's where all this goes. That's where it ends. All right. I think it's time because we want to get a winner here.
