Last night, we talked about this on the show. I think at around 4 o'clock, we said, right now it seems like they don't have the votes, but don't put it past these weasels on the Democrat-led city council to flip last minute. And lo and behold, that's exactly what happened last night. The council Democrats flipped. And now because of that, you and everybody else in Marion County is going to get the shaft on your wheel taxes. You. I am a resident of Marion County, and my wheel tax has gone up basically 400%. So for every vehicle you own, everyone, it's a minimum of $100. Now, if you have a bigger vehicle, then it's going to be more than that. Because these weasels refuse to find any cuts. And I don't want to hear any bull crap from butt sniffers and the folks that follow these Democrats around and make excuses. Well, what cuts do you want to make? There are so many cuts you could have made, but they don't have the guts. You don't need these line systems. The only people you ever see at these bus stations are bums laying down and people dealing drugs. Okay? It's been a complete failure. How about these violence interrupters that are making six figures each, each? I speak on behalf of anybody in Indianapolis, Indiana. Have you seen one? What violence are they interrupting? What are they doing to warrant six-figure salaries? I've seen a lot more violence than I have interrupting violence. How about glow-in-the-dark trails and countless? And I mean countless DEI bull crap things in the city. There's a long and distinguished list of things you can cut. Because I see our pal Abdul say this all the time. Aw, what are you going to cut? Aw. Well, these are just some of the things you could cut right now that would at least lower your taxes. But no, this council never even wanted to look at it. And I called my shot. I called it. I told you. Frank Masqueray of Beach Grove, Indiana, was going to be one of these weasels that flip-flopped. I texted that to you last night. You called it. He put out a statement, quote, I was a no vote almost all the way until today. People need to understand the state house is directing this. They're sitting on $6 billion, and they're forcing more than 30 schools to do referendums right now, which Beach Grove is another one, the second one in like six years.
So the next time you vote, Indiana, think hard. Hey, Beach Grove, the next time you have a chance to see a mask area on the ballot, vote hard, because this was one of the weasels that screwed you, and they always screw you. They are constantly allowing the schools to take money out of your pockets. They're allowing lawmakers to take money out of your pockets. And as for the argument that the state is sitting on this, the reason why there's a match in place. Okay. The reason why there's a match, the state thought it would be an incentive for local communities to cut spending, get it down to the bare bones, and then reward them with something that could pay for the roads. But instead of doing that... Jokes on to you. People like Frank Maskeri, who the game passed by a long time ago... People like Frank Maskery and the entire Democrat council would rather tax you into oblivion and then celebrate and high five and smack each other on the old gray gin-ridden asses after they do it. And they were celebrating last night, for sure. We shared the video of Michael Paul Hart, one of the few Republicans on the council. He posted the video. The minute they got approval to tax the hell out of you, it looked like the 1972 dolphins after the final undefeated team gets beat. They're popping champagne. They're smacking each other on the ass. I was waiting for somebody to come in there and have a confetti cannon. You can't hate these people enough. And I want you to remember this. Indianapolis, I get, if you're a Republican, if you're a conservative, you're outnumbered. You're outnumbered substantially. But you got to show up to vote. You can't just say screw it. What's the point? You've got to show up. If you show up, you have a fighting chance. And Natalie Goodwin, the... chair, I guess, the head of the Marion County Republican Party, now would be the time to do something, because you've got some ammo. One, you've got to find a replacement for Councillor Bain, who went over to the IURC, so you need to have somebody that you can trust to replace him, get behind somebody, get some good candidates, but you've got ammo here. You've got people like... ripping these council members online. People in Indy are frustrated. They're begging for leadership. With all due respect, Natalie Goodwin, and I do mean this with all due respect because I'm rooting for you. Get off your ass and do something in Marion County. And the last thing before we hit a break, and I know we're running long here, but this thing pissed me off last night. Keep going. I hated being screwed on taxes, and then watching these punk asses celebrate last night made me want to throw up. That was disgusting. And losers, losers like Frank Mascari.
Now, I like some people in Frank's family. I grew up with some of them. They're fine. This is just between Frank and I right now. That old decrepit loser, Frank Mascari. People like that have just got me fired up, man, trying to blame everybody else for their lack of willing to have a budget. Yeah, that excuse in his statement didn't seem to hold water with me at all. None. None. Like, what are you talking about? Well, it's the statehouse is actually the one that's calling the shots here. Yeah, what kind of cuts did you look for? And you're justifying this ridiculous referendum that Beach Grove is shoving down the taxpayer's throats, too. Bite me. What is Toyota affordability?
