223 segmentsWelcome to Wind Tucson on this Monday. I, first of all, want to thank Betsy Smith and Dave Smith for filling in for me so I could go to Chicago. It was incredible. They were having Indian summer, 80 degrees in Chicago, not windy. Beautiful time with my family. Family members came in from all over the country, and this was my niece, my sister's daughter. She's a lawyer, University of Michigan. just an incredible weekend. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Well, Arizona, and you had all the rain. I see wherever I go, it's sunshine. What can I say? So I'm happy to welcome my guest this morning, attorney Rodney Glassman, who... I asked him to come on because Chris Mays appears to be ramping it up against elected officials here in Arizona. And I thought, you know, as the Attorney General, is that really your highest priority? And so I wanted to have that conversation this morning. Mr. Glassman, thank you so much, Rodney, for coming on. Good morning, Kathleen. You hit it right. It's always sunshine wherever you are. Ah, see, I didn't even pay you for that. Thank you. I'll take it. It's been crazy already this morning. So, Chris Mays, I think she's still playing electioneering, and so... I just wonder, is that the role of the Attorney General? Well, Kathleen, as you know, that is why Chris Mays got elected. Chris Mays ran on suing President Trump. Chris Mays ran on indicting good Republicans because they supported. President Trump, Chris Mays ran on hating cops, hating kids, and suing businesses. And in 2022, she got elected. So she's insane and needs to be beaten in 2026, but she's doing everything that she promised the liberals. She would do, and that's why, as we frankly today is, you know, we're approaching the end of the quarter and we're doing a lot of fundraising and our website'srodney Glassman.com and we're banging away. But, but yeah, if you want to get rid of someone like that, you got to nominate a Republican that can beat her because Chris Mays is doing the socialist liberal playbook that she was elected to do. And even when she keeps losing these lawsuits. and getting kicked back down in the courts and out of the courts, she just keeps filing them. Because as you know, in Arizona, our attorney general is an elected official, independently elected. And so she can keep filing these lawsuits using our tax dollars to file these lawsuits and keep losing because every time she files one of these lawsuits, whether it's against Cochise County.
Yes. For trying to count their ballots or whether it's Tom Crosby. You know, the largest apartment owners in the state just for simply deciding what they want to charge for rent. Every time she files one of these lawsuits and loses, she sends out a press release. And then she sends out an email asking liberals across the country for money. And they send it to her because they hate President Trump, just like she does. Yes. And that is obvious that she is somebody who. hates the president. And, you know, and that's, I don't think that that's a great way to do your job, if you will. But the law, is justice not blind? The law is supposed to be the law. It's supposed to be equally applied, and it is not. And I don't understand how. When we look back at four years of a Chris Mays being in the Attorney General's office, what is her greatest accomplishment other than raising money for her next campaign? Chris Mays' greatest accomplishment is suing President Trump and indicting good Republicans for supporting his agenda. And that's why Kathleen, on day one, as Attorney General, I will withdraw Arizona from the 25 clickbait lawsuits that Chris Mays has filed. against the Trump administration, and I will rescind the political indictments that she's made against Republicans simply for supporting President Trump. But Kathleen, to your point, it's interesting and important for your listeners to understand that Arizona is one of the 46 states across the country with an elected attorney general. Many people... think that the AG works for the governor or for the legislature. But in fact, the attorney general works for the people. That's why it's an independently elected office. And that's why in our Republican primary, I'm proud to be the only Republican running. that has a law practice, the only Republican running that is actually served in the military. I'm a lieutenant colonel right now at Luke Air Force Base. I'm an I am a Cat B reservist out there. So when I put on my uniform, I go out and run the active duty legal office at Luke. And you may say, well, why is that important? Well, because, remember, not only is the Attorney General in Arizona elected, but the AG runs the largest law office in the state of Arizona with over 400 attorneys and 1,000 support staff. Why is that important? Because the AG provides all the legal services for every state agency. So if you're a business owner, it's the Department of Revenue. If you're a realtor, one of the 54,000 realtors across the state, the governor appoints the real estate commissioner. But when you have an issue at the Department of Real Estate, it's actually an assistant attorney general that can either be your advocate. or can be part of the problem. And that's what we have right now is we have someone who's just been a government, you know, big government, big government, big government. And my Republican primary opponent has never practiced law. Got his law license 20 months ago. He's never had a client. It's never prosecuted a case. Yes. Yes. And I think it's important in a primary to do that. And I think that would, but ultimately we have to run against Chris Mays.
And that's why putting someone up who's never practiced law, we're going to lose again. And we can't afford another four years of Chris Mays. We can't afford any more time because she's out there destroying lives. I mean, the reality is, is that each of the 15 counties runs its own election. and should be able to count its ballots. And you've got an attorney general right now that doesn't even care about election integrity. She's too busy using our tax dollars that come from the state legislature to sue President Trump. And so it's unfortunate because when we read in the newspaper... that the Supreme Court refuses to hear a case that she's bringing forward or an appellate court tells her that she's wrong. Right. One would hope in the real world, in the real world, you stop because someone's paying for those lawsuits, but in this particular situation, we the taxpayer are giving Chris Mays the money. to waste suing President Trump, suing business, and it's a disaster, and that's why we need it to stop and we need to get rid of her. And Rodney, it appears to me that it's a one-way street, that she, that clearly Katie Hobbs is unfunding, like I'm reading now. you know, funding for kids that are disabled in our system. And so that's, but she doesn't, she doesn't seem to hold the governor to account. It's kind of like any, any mismanagement that wants to happen. We have to take a quick break. When we come back, I want to know if. The Attorney General working with the legislature could make a huge difference for the quality of life in Arizona. So think about that. You are listening to Winn Tucson on 1030 The Voice, your trusted local news and talk. I'm Kathleen Wynne, and we'll be back right after this to see what do we do to fix the Office of Attorney General in the state of Arizona and how important is it? We'll be right back. Well, apparently it rained on all of you while I was out of town and I have flooding in my family room to approve it. So it's been quite the morning already. Anyway, so Rodney, welcome back. We're talking to Rodney Glassman, attorney at law. What is your title again in the military? And I apologize. I know I should know. Lieutenant Colonel. Lieutenant Colonel. Okay. And you do all kinds of work with the military base. And I think, you know, Rodney, you've got a long history of doing community service. All those things are great. The role of the Attorney General, though, is a unique role in this state. And...
And the question I asked before we went to break, this attorney general is not working with the legislature. As a matter of fact, I would say they're working at odds. Can the legislature impact or do something to curtail, we don't want Chris Mays again. So how important is it that we get a Republican Senate and House again and a Republican attorney general? What could that mean for Arizona? Well, Kathleen, we need a Republican legislature. We also need a Republican legislature with courage. The reality is that this legislature, with this leadership, this Senate president, could have last spring during the budget cycle stopped Chris Mays from suing. President Trump in suing business because it's the legislature that funds the Attorney General's budget. And that's why last spring, and I continue to advocate for the state legislature to have the courage to defund Chris Mays's budget when it comes to suing the Trump administration. But they've refused to do that because the attorney general is a chief law enforcement officer. So it's the attorney general's elected job. to enforce the laws of the state, and the guardrails are the legislature to keep her from going rogue, and they haven't done that. But you mentioned the flooding, you mentioned the rain, and the reality is, is an attorney general that works with the legislature? Yes. Can help find solutions. I mean, we have, while the immigration issue... is still raging in Arizona, even though President Trump has really sealed off the border. But the crime enterprise, the criminal enterprise. The overrun of the schools, the health care system. Right. And so we need stronger laws that allow local law enforcement. to keep our communities safe. So how would that work? Well, it requires a Republican legislature that supports President Trump's agenda of securing the border. Then it requires an attorney general to help the legislature craft laws. that the AG can help enforce and help defend all the way up to the United States Supreme Court. Remember, we had SB 1070 back in 2010. Yes. And there were lawsuits filed. Yeah, there were lawsuits filed. Russell was a good friend. There were lawsuits filed by the liberals because they didn't want law enforcement to be able to ask you for your driver's license. They didn't want law enforcement to find out if you were here legally. And it was the Liberal Democrat Attorney General Terry Goddard.
not quite as liberal and terrible as Chris Mays, but still liberal and terrible, who refused to defend our state law, SB 1070, at the United States Supreme Court. And so Governor Brewer, our Republican governor, whose birthday was on Friday, so happy belated birthday, Governor Brewer, she had to go out and get private law firms, I think it was Snell and Wilmer at the time, to go to the United States Supreme Court and defend the law. The Arizona law. because the attorney general refused to do it. And so we need to have an attorney general, number one, who's practiced law. We need to have an attorney general number two who can work with the Republican legislature on crafting laws that can be enforced. And number three, we need to have an attorney general that's committed to defend the laws that are on the books and to advocate for President Trump's agenda securing the border and keeping our community safe. And that's why I have the Maricopa County Sheriff. Jerry Sheridan as the chair of my campaign, along with the superintendent of the school's Tom Horn, along with our former state Senate president, Karen Fan. And what's interesting is Karen Fan, the Senate president? Yes. Actually served with my opponent for a decade. Rodney. Yet she's supporting our candidacy because she knows that the legislature needs an attorney general that is going to defend the laws of the state and know how to do that. And that's where I come in. I appreciate that. And I appreciate you where you're running a race. And I understand that. I really, and I'll have, I will have Warren Peterson on because it's fair. And I am. Who's that? Yeah, there you go. So you're such a brat. But Kathleen, you mentioned the rain. And one of the biggest issues we have in rural Arizona. Yes. And it's, and it's approaching our cities too. Is access to insurance. Because you mentioned the rain, you mentioned flooding in your house. Homeowners are having a challenge accessing options when it comes to purchasing homeowners insurance in rural Arizona. And that's a good example where I don't think most Arizonans realize that the attorney general is the office that provides all the legal services for the Department of Insurance. And the Attorney General is the one who advises the legislature on how to craft laws to protect consumers. And the Attorney General is the one in charge of enforcing those laws. So at the end of the day, that is an issue. This rain, this flooding, rural Arizona, the fires, just having someone that puts homeowners and the average everyday Arizona first. and wants to be their lawyer advocating for them. That's another big part of the job. And Kathleen, as the attorney running who has worked for everyday Arizona as their attorney and in the military, that's another reason why I ask your listeners to visit my website atrodney Glassman.com and consider making an investment because this is their chance to hire someone that they'd love to have as their actual attorney working as the attorney general.
Well, I think that it really matters who's in that office, especially because it's supposed to be a prosecutor's office against those people that commit crimes. And one of the things that we are experiencing here in Pima County is that the police are doing their job, they're arresting people, but our county attorney is giving very light sentences for murder. Some people that have murdered people. have gotten off with a slap on the wrist and we are our violent crime is increasing and you know I and you don't have any you don't the people that are running our county prosecutory office and the people running the state they're the same So there's no one really prosecuting the, and I think in order to really clean out, you made a point that President Trump has secured the border, but the organized crime that exists in our state is still running the show, the drugs, everything, it's still all here. Do you have the wherewithal to take on those kinds of entities and to really have your investigator, you know, the AG has investigators, to investigate the heart and the soul and work with the feds even to deliver on Donald Trump's promise to make our communities safe? Are you willing to do that? Yes, yes, yes. The reality is I've been a prosecutor in the military now for almost 20 years, now Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force JAG Corps. Reserve, as I shared, the only candidate running who has been a prosecutor. And as you mentioned, Kathleen, the AG's office has one of the largest investigative units. in the state. Yes. And so you have prosecutors, you have investigators, you have, I have great relationships with leadership from the U.S. Attorney's Office and the FBI here in Arizona as well, because I've worked with them in my capacity through the military as well. And so to have someone willing to take charge two teenage daughters at home. a wife that I want to keep safe, a community that I want to keep safe. You know, you talk about Pima County where the county attorney refuses to prosecute, the county attorney down there. You know, what is it, her name? Laura Conover refuses to defend police officers, to support prosecutors. The reality is even in Maricopa County, we're underplaced here too. And we need more support. But the attorney general has the ability to step in when local county prosecutors refuse to prosecute evildoers.
and take up those cases themselves. I know you're a big fan of Ken Paxton. Yes. The Attorney General in Texas, I am too. And Ken and I were talking. Actually, one of the things he mentioned was the tremendously successful event that you had for him at your home. He was proud to tell me about that because he knew we're friends. But also he was talking about in certain situations, they got a ton of counties in Texas. And in certain situations, when the county prosecutor is either unwilling. or unable to pick up a complex case, the Attorney General of Texas actually steps in. And so when it comes to crimes that have been committed that your liberal county attorney refuses to prosecute, when it comes to kids, when it comes to the voiceless, such as our animals, you can rest assured that Attorney General Rodney Glassman in my office will be there, ready, willing, and able to prosecute because I won't be spending my time. suing the Trump administration to win political points. Well, you wouldn't win political points from most of the people in your state if you were doing that. So I think that's probably a good plan. It's a great plan. I think that also holding, God forbid, Cady Hobbs gets reelected, but if that happens, You know, we'll have a dynamic of at least having an AG that could do checks and balances with hopefully a Republican legislature. My hope is that doesn't happen. Kathleen, we need a Republican governor. Sorry for cutting you off. But even if it is a Republican governor, even if it is a Republican governor, the reality is that the Attorney General doesn't work for the governor. The Attorney General works for you. And during COVID, During COVID, when our gyms were shut down, when our restaurants were shut down, the only person with immediate standing that could have said, hey, governor, that's an illegal executive order. The business owners know when they should be open and when they should be closed. That was the Attorney General, and he didn't do that. He didn't do. I was going to say we had two Republicans there, and they did not. It was a very, it was a failure ship to lead. It didn't happen. And Kathleen, I'm not sure if you know Tom Hatton. He is the CEO and president of Mountainside Fitness. And Tom Hatton. Tom hadn't had all of his gyms clothes. And Tom, when he found out that I was running, immediately became a max contributor, $5,500. That's great. Great man. And actually he now is the chair of the board of the Goldwater Institute, which has had to step in and take on a number of causes, fighting back government overreach, fighting back against because of the fact that. the liberal democrat attorney general chris mays won't do it i got it and thank you and thanks for coming on thanks for being my first guest on a monday after a vacation i appreciate that you got me going and you are listening to 1030 the voice your trusted local news and talk and uh when we come back harry walker oh kelly walker okay somebody we'll be back right after this
coldest ice is what Chicago is going to get in about probably three days because that's how Chicago rolls but boy it was beautiful this last five days and It's where I grew up and it was wonderful to be back in a place that I spend a lot of time. And on joining us today, right now is Kelly Walker, not Harry Walker, because it's Monday and things happen. But Kelly, welcome back to Wind Tucson. And what is, I've called you this morning. Did you get an update on what's going on? And it sounds like there's so much going on to help parents. So what's the latest? There really is. It's been phenomenal and it's been, excuse me, due to work by a lot of people who knows maybe even someone named Terry Walker was involved, I know. Thank you. Some of the names that we know who've been involved have been fantastic. Of course, President Trump is well aware of this targeting, deliberate targeting of concerned parents by Merrick Garland's DOJ, by the Lisa Monaco, his assistant, and others. And we've had some just fantastic support. Sam Sorbo and I co-founded Parents Demanding Justice Alliance not too long ago. Yes. And people have gone to President Trump. to talk to him about this, to inform him about it. So we've been talking to Pam Bondi, Harmeet Dylan, and we're going back October 7th to talk to Ed Martin again because it's very important this administration to get some justice for parents, but also to see that those who perpetrated this hoax. are brought to justice. So we even had Roger Stone and go to President Trump and meet with him personally. I posted some pictures this morning on Real Freedom Talk and on Instagram at Real Freedom Talk, showing Roger Stone and President Trump. And the look of concern on President Trump's face is very telling. So we're actually at the point where Sam and I brought together a dossier of the stories of various targeted parents. And we submitted that officially to the Department of Justice. And where we're at now is that the Department of Justice is actually collecting case materials and getting ready to prosecute people who cooperated with this. And at the federal level, but also those who cooperated with the feds. Because what's become very clear about this... is it was a federal operation with the face of local authorities. In other words, it came from the feds who then, instead of prosecuting people themselves, because no one was federally indicted for so-called domestic terrorism, what they did was worked with local law enforcement.
to do their dirty work for them. But the links are all there. We've done a lot of studies, a lot of work. Congress knows about it. There are reports from the committee on the judiciary. And now we know that people downstream of this are going to be held responsible for what they did to parents because all of it. was a massive hoax and it was done to influence elections. It was done to silence dissent. It was done to push through agendas that most Americans don't agree with. you can teach your kids to hate their country, that you can bring Marxist ideologies in the school, that kids can have radical surgeries before they can even, you know, make choices like getting a tattoo or smoky, you know. Yeah, but in all those choices, they don't have the legal right until they are an age of majority to do. And so that we somehow think that this choice gets to be made, like, And I think, Kelly, first of all, the mutilation, the permanent mutilation of children, someone should raise their hand and just say, why? Why is that the solution? If, in fact, you were born into the wrong body, which I totally disagree with. I believe God gives us our lives. And even if you think you're the wrong sex. you shouldn't really do anything about it until after you're an adult. And what really is disturbing, and this is the part where we have to draw a line and we have to be, you know, fight, fight, that parents somehow, if they're not going along with whatever the whim of their child is, and it is their child that they're responsible for, these... DCS, Department of Child Safety, or CPS, Child Protective Services, depends on what state you're in, but they're the same thing, are now actively removing children from families' homes if they're not... agreeing with these surgeries that is insane you know and you mentioned smoking and tattoo we don't want our second-grader smoking or getting tattoos but it seems to me there's the the more sinister thing why do we want to change the sexuality and the sex of a child well Number one, it makes that child more vulnerable. Number two, that child's on drugs for the rest of their life. So it's a pharmaceutical quagmire. And if we don't raise our hands and raise our voices right now, this is another.
attack on our next generation. It's obscene. And I'm going to say it's not about diversity. Don't throw diversity at me. It's not about that at all. It's about that children need to have their brains develop. They need to be innocent. Life, you lose your innocence so quickly, especially in this world. There's so many horrific, evil things going on. We need to protect our children. Go ahead. It's very true. Kathleen, one of the parents on our dossier is a mother who has a, you know, quote-unquote transgender child and has actually complained about the government coming in and attacking parents because she believes it should be her choice between her and her child. I don't know the full story behind that. But this isn't just a bunch of so-called, quote-unquote, right-wing people. It's across the political spectrum. And what has happened... is that the government came in under Joe Biden. and decided that they should not only make the decisions that parents are entitled to make, but penalize them, pursue them, and persecute them if they differed from that. And so this is something that regardless of party, you should be for these parents, you should be providing restitution to the parents who are already harmed, and holding those accountable who participated in this, because it didn't just affect conservatives. It affected a lot of parents. And when you strip away the politics, you see that this is about people. This is about the, what's more fundamental of the natural right being able to say, while my kids are minors, when they're not capable of making mature decisions, I'm going to make those decisions for them. This supersedes any consideration of what party you're in. So we have to send a strong message right now because people who participated in this at every level are going to be prosecuted. and called to the carpet. And we also believe that there's going to be an executive order very soon to make sure that these things happen. An executive order followed by the DOJ really getting into the casework and exonerating people and prosecuting those who knowingly cooperated in this. Because everybody knew that parents weren't domestic terrorists. People were arrested, people were jailed on flimsy premises. If you go to Real Freedom Talk.com, I just posted some pieces about this. You can go through my story. You can go through the story of Lisa Monaco and her involvement. And it's all there. We have all the receipts. We know what happened and the chickens are coming home to roost. Well, I think the fact that people use their positions, whatever they were, superintendent, teachers, social workers, whatever, police officers to carry out an agenda that... demonize parents in their role as parents and somehow trying to diminish the role of parents is disturbing and and and so many people you know and if we want to look at the one of the facts of that is a lot more parents are homeschooling their kids
And that's, you know, that may be a good thing right now until you can get a control of the ideology and the manipulation and the indoctrination that's going in our kids' schools. Now, it's not going on in every school. But where it is, when the leadership of a school. is ignoring the request of the majority to take care of the minority. And sometimes it's just one student, like at CDO here in Tucson, we have one boy who's transitioning to become a girl and is insisting on using the girl's restroom, which is displacing all the other girls. So why are hundreds of girls being displaced by one boy? It doesn't make sense. And the accommodation should be made for the one, not the many. And those kinds of decisions, I think, and I believe that's now been referred to the feds, according to the superintendent of public instructions office, Tom Horn, last Friday. I do believe it is time that we as parents pay attention to what's going on in our kids' schools, things that, you know, talk to your kids, find out if there's something, and make sure that we as parents continue to give voice and get involved and push back. Kelly, we got to take a quick break. We come back. We can cover anything you want to cover. You're doing great work, and I think it's so important for parents to be encouraged. But we have to be the parents. We have to be the leaders. You can be your kids' friends later when they're grown-ups, but really you never stop being their parent. And I think it's an important role that we should not undermine or give less weight to because it is God-given. We are talking to Kelly Walker on 1030 The Voice, your trusted local news and talk. Real Freedom Talk. We'll talk about that when we come back. I'm Kathleen Wynn. This is Wynne Tucson. Welcome back to Wind Tucson. We're talking to Kelly Walker about the federal government. It seems to me with the indictment of James Comey and so many other things are going on, Kelly, that the Trump administration, I'm sure the left is believing this is political. But I believe that This is about correcting things that happen that shouldn't have happened. And, you know, you can tell me if I'm wrong or whatever. But I think that it's time that, you know, people that, people went to jail for J6. And now we're finding out possibly there were 275 FBI agents baked into the cake that day to create chaos, not to protect people. You know, all these, and we knew it. We always knew these things. Yeah. And it makes me question, was Mike Pence part of it? Or was he oblivious to it? Did he not know? You know, this was a way to deem, you know, to turn Donald Trump into the enemy.
And I think that that backfired, which is always interesting when you see this stuff happen. So are we writing a wrong right now or are we playing political football? We are, and it's hard to separate politics from life these days because politics have invaded our lives and gotten into areas. They're not supposed to be in, like, how we parent our children. So when people say, well, I don't want to be political, it's kind of difficult to say that these days because, unfortunately, politics have invaded the personal, which is the very reason our government exists to draw that line and to say we're a government outforned by the people. So I think what we're seeing, Kathleen, is the people are coming back and saying, wait a minute, we're going to push back because we are the authority. Ultimately, the people are the authority, and it's not so much right versus left, Democrat versus Republican. It's good people who are trying to live their lives versus people who are elites who think that they know better than you, and that can be on both sides. You know, you hear talk about rhinos all the time, Republicans who don't have people's best interests at heart who are in it. for themselves. So really what we're starting to see, and I think Charlie Kirk's death helped with this to some extent, is that people are saying, hey, wait a minute, this is this is radicalism that was sponsored by the Biden administration by others, nefarious. Some, some would say a former president sitting in a basement, all of those things. But this is all violence geared toward. controlling people. And most of us going about our daily business, we see others of other races, religions, everything else. We get along. We're in community. It's these radical fringe elements that are constantly fighting online. And people are starting to say, wait a minute, you know, I might not agree with the family that lives next door to me on some issues, but they should have the right to have those beliefs, you know. So I am seeing more people waking up. I'm seeing people who have... really started to get it. And you're right, Kathleen, about J6. I talk with David Summerall a lot. He's a good friend. He's helped the J-6ers. A lot, and people are starting to see, wait a minute, some of those people, probably most of them didn't do anything wrong. We've known for a long time that it was a setup, just like we've known from the beginning that, look, I worked in the medical industry, education industry. I knew that COVID was not going to be dangerous to children. I knew that the masks were detrimental, particularly, you know, masking kids up in the middle of Arizona summer. We've known these things, but sometimes it takes people a while to catch up. And a lot of that blame goes to the media. It goes to political hacks, people who, instead of really looking at the facts, instead of really being objective about things, they had a motive. They had an axe to grind. So I think a lot of the people that you're seeing today whose voices are prevailing.
Maybe they haven't been completely political, but they came in and they said, something's really, really wrong here. And I'm so glad it's finally starting to be seen. And now we have an administration that actually listens to those people and says, you know what? We want to know what really happened. No, I think you're 100% correct. And I think it's so important that it's not just about. this but the radicalization of our youth right that's going on that we're seeing um you know who's responsible for that i always i always look at it's not the it's not the incident that happens it's the why behind the incident who's running the levers and dials if you will and um these these young shooters that are coming out writing on bullets whatever that's all about right now right that's the new thing um But when they come out and they're the same, there's clearly been a pattern of indoctrination. And they... Go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, it's deliberate. And, you know, if you'd come to me 15 years ago, maybe the less when I was just kind of blithely going about my life, I would have rolled my eyes. When people talk about globos and things, I thought, what, you know, oh, what is that garbage? But really, honestly, what's behind this is a push to spread communism throughout the world toward the effort of the one-world government, Xi Jinping, would very much like for the communists to have hegemony. He would like to destroy the U.S. as a power. And all of this is very, very traceable. I've written about it a lot. The PLA has a handbook called Unrestricted Warfare. And they talk about the very things that we're seeing now. So part of it's... pushed by China, but others around the world who really want to see the United States sort of bow to them, and they want to completely take away our freedoms, our independence. And this is a double-edged sword because the people right now who are walking around with blue and green hair and shouting in the streets and have the rainbow flags, the communists don't care about them. They're what they call, not my words, but they're useful idiots. Because if they get into power, which is what they want, they won't want radicals around. They'll line those people up and put them in front of a firing squad. Right now, they use those people, excuse me, to destabilize society. and break it down because they want to create this new worldwide Marxist utopia. And that's the reason behind it. And it's a little far-fetched sometimes because we live in our work-a-day worlds and we see things and we wonder why certain things are happening. But if you dig a little deeper and you understand human nature and geopolitics, this is a concerted effort to destroy everything that this nation has built upon. And that's why it's so important that each and every one of us,
make a stand. I mean, it's been wonderful to see millions of people stand up after Charlie Kirk was murdered. For me, I wish more people had been there in the early days when some people, sort of the early adopters, took a stand and took the hits for it. But I'm just, you know, I thank God that more people are awake now and understanding what's going on, because it's not, it's not just some kooky people in school districts. There is a... I mean, you can check it. You can verify it that China and others have bad actors, people who go make fake accounts and just stoke the fires of division. So when you get nasty comments from people on social media, it's a pretty good chance. At least some of those are cultivated by the Chinese Communist Party. So we need to come together as a people, put aside differences and say, we all want to be free. And if you want to be... uh more left leaning leaning in your views that you should have the freedom to do that and i should have the freedom to do mine but what they've orchestrated is a very precarious dangerous situation where people are starting to shoot at one another and that's exactly exactly where they want this no they do they want this loving your neighbor is to this well and i think that this outpouring of young people um boldly professing their faith. I mean, this Wednesday I'll be three weeks, and it just seems, I'm still, it's all surreal with Charlie Kirk. And I, I just have to say that the, um, The people showing up at these events and the 172,000, we had 2,800 chapters before Charlie was shot. There's 170,000. Think about that request for chapters in high schools and colleges. Is that what they wanted? They wanted that. I don't even know what the number of what that works out to time. I mean, it's ridiculous. Percentage-wise, how, I mean, you know, go forth and multiply. No kidding. Like, this is something that we didn't even realize. could be happening and when i i have to share this with you kelly when i was in chicago uh there's a player matt shaw matt shaw plays for the cups uh he was a personal friend of charlie's and he's he was at the memorial and he didn't play a game that day and some sports announcer took a swipe at him for doing that and said it was inappropriate and and he said hey he was my friend we texted every day like he so i was in line i got a i went to the the the as I say the headquarters. Wrigley Field is not a headquarters, but it's a baseball field and got a Matt Shaw shirt. But behind me were like all these other women, and they were getting Matt Shotschards. And the woman asked me, she goes,
Are you a fan of Matt Shaw's? And I said, I am. I said, I'm a bigger fan of Charlie Kirkland. She goes, me too. That's why I'm here. There were all these people there. I'm sure they sold more Matt Shaw's shirts that day because this young man had the conviction not only of his faith, but of his friendship. And I think that little things like that, little signs like that, you know, lifelong Cubs fan. I didn't know Charlie Kirk was a Cubs fan, but I've been a lifelong Cubs fan since way back in the day, you know, when Ferguson Jenkins and Ernie Banks and Glenn Becker and Ron Santo and, you know, Leah DeRosher was the coach. I was a little girl. That's where my dad took me. He had no boys. And that's where we did, you know, daughter. dad dates you know back in the day and and i love that all these women and we were talking and and everyone just shared and we hugged each other i mean it's silly we're buying shirts at a baseball stadium but there's something that's happened that they didn't count on and and and killing charlie is was is still horrific it's just horrific But we have to take up the mantle and we have to be willing to be the people to carry this on because we're only going to get one chance at this. And you either ignore it and pretend it's not happening or you understand that we are all aware of it right now. You can't say you didn't know. And what do we do? So go ahead. We have about a minute left. Well, it's important we stay steadfast in this and not let it be a flash in the pan. And something that really concerns me is anytime I see somebody, even if they're trying to be reasonable and say, oh, well, you know, we all just need to go along, where they're discussing Charlie's character and saying, well, you know, he did say some things that were offensive or whatever. No. What you're doing by arguing that is somewhat legitimizing, assassinating people. I don't care what his viewpoint was. What was done to him was atrocious. We can have the discussion at another time of whether or not you agree with Charlie. But, you know, let's not give any validation to the idea that you can murder someone in cold blood if they offend you, if you don't like what they have to say. So it's... First and foremost, we have to establish that, and then we can talk about, well, do we agree with Charlie or not? I agree totally. Well, Kelly, we've come to the end of our time. As always, I want to thank you. We promise not to change your name the next time. Unless you call it on a Monday, then it's all up for grabs. Go out and make it a great week. We'll look forward to hearing about your time in Washington, and we appreciate you being here. All right. You are listening to 1030 The Voice, your trusted local news and talk. I'm Kathleen Wynne. This is Wynne Tucson. We're going to take a top of the hour news break, and we'll be back right after that. Welcome back to Wynne Tucson. So much going on, and there was flooding. I think there was some loss of life over the weekend in the globe area, which is always tragic. When you have flash flooding,
And people don't adapt quickly and they don't pay attention. We lose lives and it's dangerous. And we're still going to have some more of that. The temperatures are, we are not done with summer. It's Arizona. And it's going to get cold in Chicago, not here for a while. So welcome to my show, Alex Collidan. You are crisscrossing the state. uh and your quest to become the new secretary of state uh so much going on here uh do we you know we just had an election and i'm always amazed alex no matter how many people vote it seems like the percentage of the vote uh goes exactly to the democrat 69.7 percent and the republican uh whatever's left over so whatever that is 29.3 uh Every single time, like for three election cycles, that number never changes. Does that seem like a statistical anomaly to you? Well, that certainly is very odd if it's been that consistent, Kathleen. You know, I know there's a couple of things down there. For sure, you guys have some...
anomalous things that happen in the reporting of your election results. I'll kind of keep it at that. And that's a problem. And that is a problem, by the way, that we are aware of statewide. Your Representative Rachel Cashel down there has been very instrumental in making it's aware of it. And we are working on it. It's something that is being worked on at high levels. And I want your people to know that. But the other thing that I observe about Pima County is that because your elections administration has gone so far off the rails down there, that we do have a subset of Republicans who are now not bothering to come out and vote. You know, Republicans statistically, we overperform Democrats when it comes to turnout. We overperform Democrats in 2024. We overperform Democrats in 2022, except in Pima County. There we are. from this special election, Republicans did underperform in terms of turnout in Pima County specifically. Not everywhere in CD7, but in Pima County specifically. And it's so imperative for Republicans down in Pima County to know that, you know... hey, we could get elections running clean as a whistle, but you still have to vote. And the fact that they're not clean as a whistle means that you have to vote even harder. You've got to not only vote, but get your friends and family out to vote and then go knock doors and chase ballots, because that is the only way that we're going to overcome the disadvantage we have down there. And you may think your vote does not matter, but I can assure you that in these statewide races... that tend to be within a couple of percentage points. Overperforming in Pima County will put any statewide Republican over the top. So you guys may be the most important county of all. I agree. And that was the case with President Trump in 2024. We did. We did overperform, which we needed to do. And we have in a total evidence of just this year when people came together for 414, which was a city. of Tucson election, we defeated a sales tax increase. So we have a city council election, Alex, coming up on November 4th. There are three seats that are open. One has already been decided. But we have two Republicans running. Now, they don't get a majority, but there would be another point of view as opposed to seven Democrats with extreme liberal views in a city that if you break out the electorate, if the Republicans and independents would get together, and even some of the Democrats, that's how we defeated 414. We need to do the same for the city council election. If we have any chance. of fixing the misappropriation of money dollars resources uh for pima county it's critical um and and i love what you just said i absolutely love because if you go vote then no one can steal your vote take your vote like the whole too big to rig um now one of my major concerns right now is undeliverable ballots over 5 000
on deliverable ballots. And on some of these elections recently, it wouldn't have affected CD7, unfortunately, the special election. But we knew in the primary there were 5,000 bad. I say bad. They weren't able to be delivered. Those same ballots, I think it's closer to 6,000. 6,000 ballots. So how do we get those? dealt with how what do i have to sue what what and you're not really giving legal advice i'm just asking as a radio talk to host what do we do the the generic we what do we do to to reduce the number there's always going to be some right somebody moves someone dies whatever but what do we do to reduce that i think that's an important thing Well, there's a couple of things, Kathleen. First, I want to point out that these races like CD7, look, we know what the demographics are in CD7 in terms of registered Republicans versus registered Democrats and all of that. And it was highly improbable we were ever going to win CD7. We're at the Tucson City Council race. I think you guys stand a little bit better of a chance down there to do that. We do. But under... Understand the importance of these elections, right, is that next year we head into an election for statewide candidates to take back our state. And the CD7 election, the Tucson City Council election, you guys down there, and Republicans in the grassroots down there ought to be thinking of these as dry runs, right? How well is our machinery working? How well are we identifying things? like problems that are happening in our elections. How well are we getting the vote out? How well are we encouraging Republicans to vote? And how well are we just oiling our machine so that when it's game time, when it's the Super Bowl, right, that we are ready to perform to the max, right? And that's the way I encourage everybody to think of it. So run up the score in these smaller elections because it will pay dividends next year. So that was the first thing I would say. Second thing I would say is in terms of these undeliverable ballots, what you've got to have people do and what I think you should have people do in the grassroots is make a list of everybody that you hear of who got ballots at the wrong address. And so that that has been documented. The first step is to document it. If there's another issue with undeliberable ballots, because you're kind of telling me this. These are ballots that were mailed out. These are ballots that were mailed out that are returned back to the county recorder or county elections division. And they shouldn't have been? Well, they were mailed out and they were mailed out.
they were mailed out and then they go back to the post office because they can't be delivered. They're not going to somebody. It's not that someone has a ballot that doesn't belong to them. That's another issue, right? People on the rolls that shouldn't be getting ballots. But these are actually that are mailed out. And so that's the problem that we have. And there's 6,000 of them. That's why it's not a little number. And it tells me the roles aren't clear. Oh, your roles down there are the dirtiest in the state. Thank you. They're the dirtiest in the state. And which, which may of itself merit a lawsuit because at the root of a lot of the undeliverable ballots issues is dirty voter rolls. The dirty voter rolls are actually at the root of a lot of the other concerns that we have about the elections, right? You know, it's like a symptom, the other concerns. But the root is the dirty voter role. So getting those cleaned up is imperative. But I would just encourage people as you're running into issues like this in these smaller elections to document them and try to compile some central documentation so that when folks are looking at, okay, what do we have to do? What can we improve before the general election in 2026? There's already a lot of documentation. People know who reported what? who to talk to get their hands around the issue so that action can be taken to address it. My point, exactly, exactly what we want to do. We can't just have 5,000, because in any race that could swing a race. Alex, I got to take a quick break. Can you stay with me just till the bottom of the hour, until 1030? Absolutely. Okay. We're talking to Alex Calden, running for Secretary of State, about things that are not working in Pima County. What do we do to fix them so that we can win elections because we can? and i believe it uh you are listening to 1030 the boys your trusted local news and talk i'm kathleen win this is win tucson we'll be right back welcome to win tucon and uh there's so much going on out there uh Alex the legislature what as you've had into this year um hoping it's your last year in the legislature uh although you'll take all that great knowledge with you to the secretary of state's office what are your top priorities So I've got a couple of top priorities, Kathleen. One, I do want to get a Florida-style election system on the ballot for the voters to vote on so that we can clean up our elections the way that Florida cleaned up its elections. That's very important to me. And then I'm going to be playing a lot of defense. You know, this last legislative session, we made the incredible mistake, and I don't know how Republican legislature makes this mistake, funding massively, Adrian Fontes, is voter registration efforts. And I don't mean just like, oh, efforts to go register voters neutrally. I mean, we gave him millions of dollars to funnel to Democrat NGOs that are now going to be working on registering federal-only voters, who are folks who have not provided documented proof of citizenship, which I just think it was a terrible, terrible mistake. And we've got to make sure that the next budget cuts him off at the knees and only gives him money to actually do his job, which he seems to not be interested in doing, preferring to use the office for partisan political ends.
Well, and I think that's pretty obvious at this point, and I think everyone understands that the elections in Arizona are problematic. I believe as we start to see these things with J6, with James Comey, with some of these other things that what happened here... You know, they said we were election deniers, but what happened here, we're going to start to really unpack from the factual side, not political side, and people will be held accountable. And I'm hoping it's coming sooner than later, but I am confident that there is going to be a day of reckoning, if you will, for those that... put their fingers in the cake, if you will, while it was baking for our elections here in Arizona. I don't think, you know, you can't look at what happened in 2020 and say, oh, that was legitimate. You just can't. You know, I've been doing elections, Alex, before you were born here in this state, and I just, you know, you have polls, you have trends, and you see things, and you know, we had an election down here for sheriff that I'm confident. the person that won didn't win. Confident. 400 votes. Because we had so much mismanagement of election boxes and ballots and things like that. And if you've got five or six thousand ballots that are undeliverable and they come back and we don't know who they are, but we just know that they are. So we now have to figure out who didn't get a ballot. But when they take them back, do those people vote somehow? I mean, that's the part that we don't know. How, you know, where did those go? And why do we keep sending them out if we know that they don't live there? How many election cycles? So there's things that are happening here in Pima County. And I agree that we've got the dirtiest roles. But if everyone in the state knows that, what are we doing about it? Well, this is why transparency is so important. It is the foundation of trust in our elections. When people don't know what's going on, they assume, I think, quite rightly the worst because, you know, I always say, you know, an American citizen is innocent until proven guilty, but the government is guilty until proven innocent. Because, you know, if they're hiding something, chances are they have reason to be hiding it. But there's a couple of ways that we've made progress on cleaning up our elections in Maricopa County, where by no means at the finish line, and I don't think you ever get to it, but we've made real substantial progress. You know, and part of it is that we've got to make sure that we're getting the volunteers, not just to work at the polling places, but to work at the central count board, which requires a significantly larger commitment of time, but gives you access to observe much more significant aspects of the process. The other thing is that it's absolutely imperative that we regain observer access for those early voting centers in Pima County. Pima County is the only county, to my knowledge, that has recently started prohibiting observers from coming in and watching the proceedings. Yes, exactly. And people have to understand. There are ballot printers there.
There are ballot printers there, and you have a partisan Pima County recorder who is a radical progressive Democrat, and her handpicked people are going to have access to ballot printers without anybody observing them. Imagine that. What could possibly go wrong, Alex? Yeah, seriously. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I have to laugh, otherwise I cry. And I... And it is understanding that that's one of the things that got baked into the cake by the Secretary of State. Because Adrian Fontes didn't get reelected in Maricopa. And he had two years of free time, and he spent it down here in Pima County. And I would bet you his fingerprints are all over everything. Tell me I'm wrong. I don't think you're wrong because it was 2020. Two, I think, was the first cycle where you guys tried to prohibit observers and did prohibit observers from those impersonally voting centers. And that was when that was the election cycle that he had worked down in Pima County as a senior staff member in your elections department. So that would make sense. Well, yeah, and it makes sense not only anecdotally, but just when you look at who's still in charge. And that I believe that the people in Tucson are reasonable. I have to say, as I was driving here today, I've been gone like five days out of state, and I'm driving to come, and there's a road I take. And just over the last five days, there's like seven for sale signs on a street that I take to get here. And nice homes. And I thought, gosh, all these people are leaving Tucson. Why is that? You know, have people, you know, is this what they want? Do the, are the taxes getting too high? Is the crime too high? What, you know, are the politics just unacceptable? And it makes me sad because we really do, Tucson's a beautiful place in the state. And it is. And it's just, it's. It's disheartening to me that we can't fix this last thing. And that if we did, and if we do, that we get a different quality of life. And I can't imagine that people continue to vote for the denigration of a beautiful community. But that's what it seems like we're doing. And to your point, there are more registered Democrats, but we've been besting them for... for almost this year, this whole year. You have people leaving the Democrat Party in droves. And then you have people, some of them may be re-registering as Republicans, but even not, we have more people registering as Republicans. I think they feel safe with Trump as the president. I think they like the agenda. I think that they don't want government wasting money. And so there's been a lot of reasons why this has happened. I believe that there'll be a resurgence after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. People are wanting normalcy and they don't want to be involved in their government every day of their lives. And we've forced them to be because of the rhetoric and because of the hatred. And your secretary of state has a crucial role in bringing order and ending the chaos. And I think that they've baked the chaos in.
They really have, Kathleen. And now you see it spreading out to the rest of the state. Remember, you know, for most of the time that I can remember, Arizona was always number one in job creation, number two in job creation. We're always very, very high on the list of job creation. After only three years of Katie Hobbs, we've now plummeted until the low 40s in job creation. So what's happening to Tucson is now happening to the rest of our state. And when you are down in Tucson, you have that magnified by the fact that you also have. liberal local government. And so it's no wonder that people are leaving. But if we can reclaim this state, restore order, restore a friendly business environment and freedom, you know, then things will get better even in Tucson, despite the best efforts of the Tucson City Council to stop that from happening. It's achievable. It's possible. We can be living in that reality in a little over a year. It's just going to take a lot of work on the part of all of your listeners. Well, and my listeners are some of the best people on the planet, and they're engaged and they care and they pay attention to the issues. And, you know, and when there's something in the schools, you know, anywhere, they are, they're contacting me, they're letting me know whether it be elections, whether anything. You name the topic, water, crime, all of it. my listeners pay attention. It's just getting the rest of the people. engaged because it does matter and we can't be complacent if you're going to be anything don't be complacent and if you get a call from someone or a knock at the door from someone and they're saying return your ballot because we're about to blanket this city for the next five weeks making sure people vote in the city council election where we do have a better chance of putting some Republicans on the council we really need to do that to try to get, you know, we're still going to be outnumbered. But at the end of the day, at least someone will be in the echo chamber so that it's not, you know, a choir as much as it could be different voices, saying different things and putting practical experience. And we've got two business people running that actually know how to manage money. balance the budget and have a commitment to ending the crime and the homelessness down here. So, you know, we, this city council election is also a dry run for the state elections. So everyone should be paying attention to what's going on in our city council election down here. It's important.
100% 100% and you know with elections just like with anything else in politics with the city council having just one of your people in the room and makes everybody behave just a little bit better 100% Alex well I appreciate you uh thank you were you were you in green valley this weekend Candid round it? I was. We missed you. I miss being there, but I was having a good time. And I get to do that every once in a while. Probably not until 2027 at this rate, but that's okay. All right. This is Win Tucson. We're going to take a break and we come back. We're going to talk about J6 and some other things that are going on. So you are listening to me and 1030 The Voice, your trusted local news and talk on this Bustos media station. Don't go anywhere. Thank you. It sounds like all the places that my Uber drivers were from, for sure, Jamaica, so when I was in Chicago. And some of them drove better than others, though I did explain to my husband that that is where I learned to drive. So it explains a lot about my driving. But if you learn to drive in Chicago, there's a lot of freeways, a lot of crazy drivers, but they know what they're doing. Here in Tucson, not so much. And I think Chicago drivers would. Not be happy here. Anyway, there is so much going on. And I'm going to have a guest on tomorrow to talk about the James Comey indictment and what that means. I think it's one of many indictments that are about to come down. But also over the weekend, we heard that... that the FBI on January 6th, and we're going back all the way to 2021, January 6th, that the FBI had 274... plain close agents at the U.S. Capitol and when the protests erupted. So if there were that many FBI agents, you have to start to question, why were they there, what was the reason, and whose side were they on? And given that it was a transition of power and there was a lot of point made about a smooth transition of power that it really mattered. So I think there's things that happen and in the moment you think something is wrong but then you're beat back and the media spent so much energy in time. telling us what we saw and what happened and how these were insurrectionists and all that. I know so many people that were indicted, some who went to jail, have already served their time, don't want to pardon because they don't believe that they did anything wrong. And with the pardon, you do that. I think that it's important that we understand that...
Many tricks were played on the Republicans and on the people in the Trump administration. And I asked the question in the last segment about... or earlier today, when January 6th happened and Mike Pence came down on the side against the president, that was very telling. It was very telling to me. So it seems to me that it wasn't just the Democrats, that there were when President Trump lost his election in 2020, if he did. But when he, they said that he did. And he didn't get to be the president for the four years that Biden was the president. So many hoaxes and so many things were perpetrated on the American people. And you have to not believe everything. And it seems to me that there's this whole other world happening. There's what we see. There's what we hear. But then there's all this secret deployed and this and that. And I think one of the things I'm most concerned about is this recent assassination of Charlie Kirk is, did this young man in Utah really do it? They're saying he did. But as we know, JFK and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Martin Luther, who as we, as history and time goes by, we find out that it wasn't as advertised. And so in this country, I think it's important that we understand that what we hear, that you do your extra research, that you pay attention, and that hopefully that there are those that are honest, that want to tell the truth, that don't have ulterior motives. that aren't in some position of power that they want to retain and that we start to get back to being honest about what we want and where we're going. And elections have everything to do with it. And elections are just the first thing because then it puts all these other corrupt things in place. There's still so much corruption, not only in Arizona, but across the country. And so what are we going to do? And are we going to call it out? It's not about being political. It's about going back and correcting the record and saying, this is what you said happened, but this is what really happened. This is the truth. I think we're seeing it in Ukraine and Russia. I think we're seeing it in Israel and Gaza. I think that we have to be able to strip it all away and say, this is really what's happening, not the right side, not the left side, but there's got to be a truth-telling. And we've got to be honest. And if we aren't, society as we know it is going to come down and fall apart. So we're going to take a very quick break. And when we come back, I'm going to be talking to Chris Burgard. Chris is a director.
groundbreaking documentaries, capital punishment, and the war on truth, because this is about truth. He says that a report says that the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, deployed 274 plainclose agents to the U.S. Capitol when the January 6, 2021 protest erupted. He's produced a film. And so we're going to talk to him about that and what he knows and what it means for this president and what are they going to do about it. Because I do believe that there's more indictments to come. So you are listening to Win Tucson on 1030 The Voice, your trusted local news and talk. And we'll be back here on KVOI in just a few moments. Welcome back. So my next guest, Chris Burgard, he lives in Texas. He's the director of War on Truth. He's an award-winning filmmaker, and he made his debut in Hollywood in 1986 as Matthew Broderick's Dance Double and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. So we're going way back, and he has... done all kinds of things. But one of the things was that why he wanted to produce this film. And Brendan, when you have it, just give me a high sigh. Okay, perfect. So there's a trailer that I want to play for you because basically it talks about his film. So I'm going to let you listen. And then when we get back, we'll have him here. Chris Bergard. Okay, all right, go ahead and play. This is a trailer to The War on Truth. Okay, so basically everything that they were saying under oath and similar to James Comey was not truthful. It was a lie. And so this film, The War on Truth, is coming out. And it is Chris Burgard is the director. And quite frankly,
These agents were secretly deployed. They weren't there to protect the people that were there. They were there to... to basically create evidence that they contradicted what really happened. Scores of FBI agents and personnel, many from the Bureau's premier Washington field office, sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability. to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies. So I think that, you know, what we have to understand is that everything that's been perpetrated, as far as we can tell, was a lie. It just wasn't truthful in this film details that. So, you know, to be clear, James Comey and Christopher Ray era was so infected with political biases in liberal ideology. And they treated the protesters from the summer of 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently. and those arrested in the aftermath of January 6. You look at the people that went out and burned things down and destroyed property and rioted across the country, obviously during leading up to the election and the Trump administration. And then January 6th was a peaceful protest in Washington, D.C. We smelled a rat. We knew that the elections weren't as they should have been. And we got four years of Biden and we had COVID unleashed on us. There are so many things that have been done to the American people. And the FBI should make clear to its personnel and to the public that despite its obvious political bias. And I think Kash Patel is trying to do it, that it ultimately still takes its mission priorities seriously. You know, this is what happened during that time is that they weaponized the DOJ. They weaponized. And they're going to try to tell you, the liberal media especially, that they're doing it again. Only this time is Trump that's doing it. Everything that they actually did, they're projecting onto this administration. You know, all crime should be equally and aggressively investigated, regardless of the offenders, perceived race, political affiliations, motivations. It shouldn't matter if somebody shoot somebody and they are MAGA, as Jimmy Kimmel incorrectly pointed out.
That became a big deal. And then we were somehow suppressing his freedom of speech, except he lied. And so is it freedom of speech when you knowingly and intentionally lie? Or are you responsible then if people go out and do actions? Is he? Oh, yay. So Chris has joined us. Chris, thank you. I've been filling in a little bit. Welcome. I'm sure you're super busy. We talked about your trailer and welcome. And The War on Truth, when is it out? Well, we're going to be releasing the director's cut on Friday. We had the original film came out last year, which is so blackballed and blacklisted. We couldn't get it out. And there was a fellow in the film named Bobby Jerome Powell who filmed what he said were federal agents. And since the movie came out, he identified them. And in the movie, you'll see Bobby explains how he was, according to Bobby, offered $200,000 to lose that footage. They didn't offer enough, to be honest with you, but go ahead. And this is from a friend of his next congressman. And then the congressman, Bobby said, Bobby said, I won't take $200,000 and, you know, you'd have to kill me. And the guy, according to Bobby, the congressman said, well, that can be arranged. It's just so sad, and I'm not going to make a conspiracy thing here. It's just a matter of fact, though. Bobby did have a bad heart, and he died of a heart attack a few weeks ago. So it's such a shame that now that this information is coming out about the FBI, that Bobby's not here to hear it. So that's part of the reason why we decided to release the director's cut. The movie is three hours and 33 minutes long. We thought about releasing it a year and a half ago, but we just thought, We thought there was stuff in the movie that would keep it from being black. They would get it blacklisted, and it turns out even the stuff we put out got it blacklisted. So now we're putting the whole thing out and we're giving it away for free to people. It would be out on Rumble on His Glory. His Glory. Rumble page, that's H-I-S. And they can see the first movie, Capital Punishment, for free as well, at His Glory.tv. Now, I don't know if you know this, Kathleen, but, you know, I was at January 6th with my family and my partner, Nick Searcy. I saw that, yeah. And I know Nick, by the way, too. I mean, I've, so. He's so awesome. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. But yeah, go ahead. I don't. I make it. I may get in trouble for saying this, but I'm going to say it anyway. Good. He's going to be filming. He's going to be in the third season of Jack Reacher. Oh, I love it. It's such a great show. I know. I was like so, so excited to see him. But anyway, you know, we didn't plan on making a movie. We just went to J6 because we felt called to be there, led by the Lord. And, you know, I made back many films, so we filmed the whole day we were there. And when the false narratives started coming out so huge, we made the movie Capital Punishment. And after I made the movie Capital Punishment, I was working on the border on another film with Tom Homan called...
It was called... In Texas or Arizona? Yes, that was in Texas. I had previously done movies that were across the entire border, California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. That screened for Congress in 2007, this movie that Tom and I did together screened two years ago for Congress. Everything we put in it was true. They didn't care. We gave them the information. We laid out the data for why Joe Biden turned us into the largest sex trafficking machine in the history of the world, and our taxpaying dollars are paying for it. 100%. I fight sex trafficking. You don't know that, but that's, I get it. Well, we should talk. Yeah. You know, Pastor Dave Bryan in California, Reds 17, but yes, yes, we were so excited. We were able to help them raise the last $2.5 million to buy that women's prison. It's just an amazing, amazing thing that they're doing there. You and I are also probably both friends with Tim Ballard, another amazing guy. Yep. But getting back to this film, because they made capital punishment, the first movie, the FBI investigating me is a terrorist threat to the United States of America. And I took that personally. My dad graduated on a ninth session, FBI Academy, a two-division program. So after that was very stressful on me and my family, and after we got that started out a little bit, we decided to make the war in truth. And you're going to see in the war and truth. And you're going to see stuff in that movie. It just blows you way. But we were saying this stuff three and four years ago. Yes. And I'm going to tell you this. There may have been 274 FBI agents in the crowd. That's just the FBI. That doesn't count DHS. CIA. This is an operation from the beginning. I was in Central America when they tried to overtake the Honduran government. And that's why my bells and whistles were going off on January 6th. I said to my wife, I said, this is Honduras all over again. And before things even started, you can just feel it. It was an operation. And in every intelligence operation, they have the media and the propaganda set to go out, and that's exactly what happened on this thing. And then the killing of Ashley Babbitt, and then the lying about police officers dying, and I always wondered about those that commit suicide. I think they were probably honest officers that wanted to tell the truth, and they committed. I don't know. Go ahead. We addressed that 100% in the movie The War on Truth. We addressed that. And here's the lie for your audience that's not familiar of it. We know Ashley Babbitt died, but also Rosanne Boylan died. Yes. Okay. And then two other fellows died of heart attacks, one of which got hit in the chest. And you see it in the video. He gets hit in the chest with... with around a flashbang, which when it blows up, it's very hot. And you see it hit the guy in the chest. The guy next to him, the explosion goes off. He screams. It burns his face. And then this fellow is Kevin Phillips and Benjamin Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu, they died of heart attacks that day. And one of them is this guy, and he goes down.
And he doesn't get up. And would he have had a heart attack that day if he hadn't been hit in the chest? Probably not. Yeah. And you're going to see that these rounds were thrown into the crowd and cite the crowd not to push them back. And so anyway, but the lie is, and what the movie points out, why would the highest levels of government, Joe Biden, the Department of Justice, the FBI, the entire legacy media, why would they say a lie over and over again? And the lie was on January 6th, five law enforcement officers died. No, four Trump supporters died. Officer Brian Sicknick died the next day of natural causes. The other four law enforcement officers died weeks and months later from suicide. Let that sink in. The five dead police officers, four from suicide. Why would all these higher things of power repeat the same script over and over knowing that it's patently false and untrue? And they knew that within hours of dying. That's when you go, you know it's an intelligence operation. There's a fellow named Joseph Goebbels. He used to work for a fellow named Adolf Hitler. And he said, if you take the lie big enough and tell it often enough, yep, to the state, that's what you saw on January 6th. Well, and they did it with COVID. They've done it with so many things, and we have been the victims on the other side, and we only have like a minute left, but I'm going to get you back. I'm the chairman down here in southern Arizona of the Republican Party besides having this wonderful show. I think we're going to, we'll make sure that we can make this available to our members and we'll watch and I appreciate you making it. We just attended a five, six hour memorial to Charlie Kirk. So three hours seems like nothing to see what's really the truth. And finding out the truth is something our good friend Charlie Kirk did. And I think it's incumbent upon us as citizens to understand what was done. and how we can fight back against it. So, Chris, thank you so much for making this, for putting your family at risk. And I personally want to just say, keep fighting because we need you. And we'll talk again soon. Thank you so much. Thank you. Chris Burgard, director of the groundbreaking documentaries, capital punishment and war on truth. Okay, I made it back for my first day. Yay, team. 1030 The Voice, trusted local news and talk. We'll be back tomorrow with more great guests and go out and make it a wonderful day. Kathleen Wynn, Wynne Tucson.
