The House Ethics Committee published a report of all publicly disclosed sexual misconduct investigations yesterday. These date back to 1976, and there are 28 in total, involving 14 Democrats and 12 Republicans. Now former Congressman Tony Gonzalez and Eric Swalwell, both resigned from the House last week. So they're at the top of the list. They're the most recent ones. Four Floridians are on the list, including Cory Mills, who is now facing a resolution for expulsion thanks to Nancy Mace. And then, of course, Matt Bill Gates, who was accused of sexual misconduct with a minor and solicitation of prostitution. And then the late Representative Al C. Hastings, a Democrat from Florida, he was investigated twice for pursuing a sexual relationship with a staffer once in 2014, again in 2020. And then he died in 20, 2021 and he was succeeded by Congresswoman Sheila Shearfulis McCormick. How about that? Boy, that's seat. She's not on the list for sexual misconduct. No, she's got other problems. She was recently faulted for 25 ethics violations amid a probe of her. pilfering $5 million in COVID-19 relief funds. And then there was Mark Foley from Florida in 2006. He was investigated for sexual misconduct involving House pages. Yeah, and Sheriffless McCormick, she might be expelled today. So who knows who the next person would be for that congressional seat. But you can bet there's going to be a scandal eventually. Yeah, absolutely. But this, when you take a look at the 28 cases in total, 14 involved Democrats.

Democrats, 12 involved Republicans. So at least we can say when it comes to being investigated for sexual misconduct, very bipartisan. Very bipartisan. There's only one woman on the list, Katie Hill, and she was involved in a thruple or something. Yeah. I remember Katie Hill. In her thruffle. She's very attractive. And then I was also curious to know, like, is there a higher concentration of this stuff going on in Congress? No, actually, chat GPT said that if you, you know, total up all the members of Congress over the last, since 1976, it's about 2,500 people. And that comes out to only about 1% if you look at 28. But in the general population, it's more like 10 to 20% of people in the workforce. So they're underrepresented in Congress. Who would have thought? Yeah. Florida Congressman Cory Mills and South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace are trying to get each other kicked out of Congress. So yesterday, notice reported that Cory Mills is drafting a resolution to expel Nancy Mace, citing the nasty way she treated security guards and TSA agents at the Charleston Airport last year. She's also under investigation for improperly billing $9,000 in housing expenses. Whoops. And then Nancy Mace introduced a resolution to expel Cory Mills, citing allegations of domestic violence, sexual misconduct, stolen valor, and profiteering from federal contracts as a member of Congress. He's been under investigation by the House Ethics Committee since November. She tried to censure him and the effort was blocked. But she said the swamp has protected Cory Mills for far too long and we are done letting it slide. we are not backing down. So this is kind of that tit for tat thing. They're going back and forth with each other. And then there's former New York Congressman George Santos. All right. Who was expelled for financial misconduct in 2023. He has been all over this drama. And he's going after Nancy Mace. So she fired back at him saying that he's on this list of sexual misconduct allegations. And he said, bitch everyone knows and op was run on me and the ethics committee along with my staff proved it my whole staff came to my defense unlike yours and then he dropped this bomb so yeah tell me about this story of you bleeping sleeping with your female chief of staff wow so this is the first i've heard of Nancy Mace looking up with her female chief and staff yeah and you know we need to google her picture and then and then nancy Mace yesterday, she dropped this on Cory Mills. She posted on X. How many Russian hookers has Cory Mills ever hired? And why won't the press share the images of them? Why is the press protecting Cory Mills? I don't think the press is protecting Cory Mills, but I do want to know more about these potential Russian hookers. She also called them the worst kind of pawn scum in Congress. Oh my gosh. Hunia's real housewives. We have all this. It's amazing. Yeah. And then wait till you hear about all the allegations over. the years against members of Congress. That bombshell was dropped yesterday. Lisa Bloom, the attorney representing Lana Drews, who held a press conference last week and said she was drugged and raped by now former Congressman Eric Swalwell, says there's no doubt in her mind. Her client is telling the truth and that the LAPD is investigating and the case has been escalated to the special victims unit. She also said Drews has more evidence. She'll be going public with soon that she has some

evidence in a storage unit and that she has additional witness names and bloom also said she's spoken to four other alleged victims who are considering coming forward publicly soon she said the confidential conversations they're having now are a crucial first step in building a case and that she expects there will be even more women who could be victims that will be coming forward so Eric Swalwell's got some big legal problems on his hands yeah massive and then of course, the House just released that list of 28 people who have been investigated for sexual misconduct since 1976 that we talked about earlier. Yeah, and a couple of them from right here in Florida. CNN reported more than three dozen current and former lawmakers and AIDS. told them that sexual harassment remains a persistent problem on Capitol Hill. And then Puck News reported that in the week after Eric Swalwell and Gonzalez resigned, the Office of Congressional Conduct reported 8,400 submissions containing information regarding allegations of misconduct or requests for information about accountability procedures in the latter half. of last year alone. So there is so much more that I think is going to come out, especially when you have people like Anna Paulina Luna and others, Nancy Mace, one of them, although you've got Cory Mills going after her, trying to expel her for other stuff, but you've got some members of Congress. who seem to be focused on bringing all of this to light. Right. It seems like this is just the tip of the iceberg. In this list of 28, those are just the ones that have already been made public over the years. That does not include all of the private allegations that we don't know about. Yep. Listen live to the Ryan Gorman Show on IHeart Radio every weekday morning on WIOD and Miami. WFLA and Tampa.
