334 segmentsDom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. It is Dom time. Good Tuesday, everyone. As loaded up as possible. Some of our all-time favorites. Bill O'Reilly, the 2-0's, Dr. Oz here. And we're going to take you inside what we've awaited. I'm feeling a little bit better about it, given the views part of this and where I think this might go. I'm talking about the alternate halftime show. Jack Posobic, who has worked at the station before and now a major influencer, one of the architects of getting this halftime show on, this alternate halftime show on, will be here at one today and we'll take you inside the challenges of doing this to developments. And, you know, during yesterday's show, I said, well, you know, it's a few, I think he's going to tell you the prominence of some of these country stars. We'll see. And Kid Rock's prominence, we'll see on that. But there is going to be a lot of Christian themes also attached to an outdoor stadium and rumored to be a surprise guest, which tells me this is probably going to be true, Nikki Minaj. Now, I don't know how Nikki Minaj fits in at this, but. If it draws people toward this to beat down the NFL, I wonder how many people in America, either general talk or sports talk, tell you they can't stand the NFL. I'm going to play some of Roger Goodell yesterday. And I don't think this guy is just standing up there a lie. I think he's a moron with a special skill like somebody who's on Autistics of Honor or something, I guess, that knows how to make money for owners. with the NFL. And as a result of that, that's what his value is. He was asked about three things about Bad Bunny about how no black coaches were hired. There's only three now during the course of all these openings that were there. And what are his thoughts on that, which weren't too much? And also the upcoming situation here with this alternate halftime show. Kid Rock, we have a cut with, I think it was with Jesse Waters, talking about sort of a reveal in which he's going to talk about his own faith in a lead into a song. I'm not saying that I think any of this is in the camp of Blockbuster, but when I'm looking at the influencers lined up around this, when I'm looking at the turning point base, this could get people. If it doesn't crash, if things are fine with it, this could get over a million people to watch part of this. There'll be a big fight of how many and all the rest of it. One other nugget that I saw while in the middle of this, just getting ready for the show, right before the show. Interesting group, we're in glass here coming by. The tour a day looking in on the producers behind double glass. I don't like being looked at it like a zoo animal like this sometimes. Like I get it. Like you're showing people around. Well, this is part of the business. I get it. I get it. This is show business. God knows what Ashley's saying out there to them. That's Dom Giordano, the king of talking about. Read her lips there. And that's Henry. He got a haircut. That's Henry and there. You got a haircut. Sean's in there too.
They're nodding, yes. You'd rather be listening to than looked at. There you go. Exactly. All right. So I just happen to see you. This is the nugget of the day. A woman comes clean. We'll probably try to get her on from the financial times. 40% of Stanford undergrads right now. 40% are officially, in quotes, disabled. 40% claim they're disabled. And the university has recognized 40% disabled. Now, this is a school on the line that they probably even say even better, but I'd say on the lines of the Kay Ivey League. How are 40% going there disabled? Well, they're not in any world except a bizarro world, but they have means, they have money, and they get themselves labeled disabled. Because if you do that, they give you much better housing. You're disabled. You need to have, you know, a much bigger place. You get to take longer on your test. Academic requirements are lessened if you qualify as disabled. So I got to follow up on it. This is just an example of rotten big college, the nonsense they do, and the lack of shame that these people view it as, well, why would you not do that? You're competing against people there academically. So if they have the edge that they're disabled, and I don't know which one of the Trump people will hand us off to, though, if they've seen this. This scam. Speaking of scams, Dr. Oz at 1.30 today is back from California. The major scam he's going to talk about, and this is just insidious, is hospice care, hospice care scams. Now, remember the Somalis. with the fake autism treatment scams. I'd put him in jail just 10 extra years, maybe 20, just on doing that for what they're up to here. And the amount of money that's out there is the Trump administration going to be able to put these people in jail up and down the line, thousands of them, maybe 100,000 of them, maybe more, then come to Philadelphia and do the same thing here. We'll see. All right, let's start with Roger Goodell, though. Here is the commissioner. This is cut seven saying, yeah, I know about Bad Bunny and the acceptance speech, but this is not going to be political. Bad Bunny and the other band at the beginning of all this. Well, it's political just putting this guy in there. We all know what it is. Here's how it sounded. Listen, Bad Benny was, and I think that was demonstrated last night, one of the great arts in the world, and that's one of the reasons we chose. But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on, and that this platform is to use to unite people, and to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents, and to be able to use this moment to do that. And I think artists in the past have done that, I think. Bad money understands that, and I think you'll have a great performance. Okay, the question I would say, what's unifying? You know what's unifying as a country, Mr. Goodell? We all know what unifies as a country, which Democrats and others just want to push aside. Borders, right? Culture, which they're agreed upon, which is harder, and a simple thing, language. So this is America's culture. This is America's best.
that people are interested in the most. How's it unifying to have someone singing in a language other than English? Not dabbling in it, but doing that. That's not unifying. This is not unifying in any way, shape, or form. Now, the athletic, somehow another, I've gotten that. Some of them are for free. They're pretty good. They did a poll of NFL players. I think it's like 800 or so, which is pretty extensive of NFL players. And I was surprised around 42, 43%. said negative on Bad Bunny doing their halftime show. And some of them were pretty pointed about it. Now, it's not the majority, but, you know, I thought they'd say, who cares with the NFL doing this? That's a fairly healthy number. I wouldn't say quite 50-50. The majority are still okay with it in the sense apparently of, hey, you know, it's a halftime show, it's entertainment. Why would I care about that? Here's a little bit more of Godell, though. We continue on. This is cut nine. Here is Godell talking about now all these rules like the Rooney Rule, et cetera. And again, I think these teams will hire anybody in the world. They don't care how much of a reprobate you are. If you can improve them by a game or two. If you can improve them, say from 4 and 13 to 500, oh my God, you can do anything. You know, we all know that. Listen to Godell when this reporter says. Well, Black History Month, why no blackhead coaches? Hey, Roger, how you doing? Hey, I remember talking in your office back in 2019, and you had said that the league is always going to look at different things about hiring. Well, since then, you guys have expanded the Rooney Rule. You have had a put in a mandate to try to address the offensive side of the ball with the coaching fellowship program. And you also put candidates in front of the decision makers. But everybody knows that this cycle is over 10 for black coaches, one for nine for coaches of color. So should you just be resigned to the fact now that basically nothing you do can move the numbers between three to seven on coaches and three to seven on general managers, those historic numbers that we've seen? You know me too well to say I'm resigned to something where I think we need to continue to make progress. And I believe that. I believe diversity is good for us. I think we have become a more diverse league across every platform, including coaching. But we still have more work to do. There's got to be more steps. So we're reevaluating everything we're doing, including our accelerated program, including... every aspect of our policies and our programs to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow rather than yesterday. So we need to be looking at that and sort of say, okay, why did we have the results this year? What is it that we can be doing in training or education? And that goes for not just the candidates, but also the clubs and how we can try to continue to increase the opportunities and the outcomes ultimately.
All right, then, that doesn't sound to me like much progress. I don't think these leagues are looking past, we've been through this before. Are they looking past coaches of color, or are they looking for somebody to fit their situation, and they'll do anything to get that person that's going to make their team move forward even an inch? All right, so Jack Posovic here. You don't want to miss that. As I said, Nikki Minaj might be a surprise telling me she's going to be in it. will play you Kid Rock talking about a reveal in which he's going to reveal some song that is important to him and his connection to it as far as his faith. So they're starting to roll out some things that are interesting on this. But, you know, these country people that are there, Jack Posovic said, well, you know, the one, my wife and I, it's the first date we went on, he's big. I don't recognize them. I don't see them as crossover. We'll see if that's enough to pull people, or is it that all these influencers, Benny Johnson, I guess Scott will be involved, Jack Bissow, but they're all going to live stream it, at least a number of them are. And then you have all of the turning point people. They should be able to get a million people. They're doing it at a stadium, all right, as an alternate versus something they don't like. Now, it's a big ass to know where to go, to go there at halftime. We'll see. 855, 839, 12, 10. I think we got a great side question today, too. Happened to see, I think it was Sunday, but it's one of these days. 1954, Swanson introduces the TV dinner. Something that is preposterous when you think about what's required here to me. wretched food, frozen, and then you're going to eat it in front of a TV. But it became a thing. You had TV trays that went with it. We're looking, and I'll give you a real good example. Henry, do we have that one? Do you have that picture of Kerry? We can put up. I do. Okay. If you go to YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT, let me give you my first that's in the genre, then I'll give you one that you can take a look at. YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. And that is the pineapple on the pizza, all-time worst food in this thing. Pineapple on pizza. You just can't. That would be a winner if you had called in with that. But in addition to that, you can think of a person that in some way, shape, or form had a food decision or food faux pa or something they came up with. You're looking at YouTube.com slash 1210. This is the effete. There's your word of the day. John Kerry, and this cost him. People made ads around this. Came to Philadelphia obligatory. He didn't go to Joey Ventos. I'm unclear. I've got to think about that. Think it was Pats. It could have been Ventos. And when I look back at this... It didn't mention. It mentioned one thing, but not another. I think he ordered a hoagy cheese steak. Now, everybody knows. That's impossible to eat in any kind of dignified way. And he's taking these little munchy, munchy, munchy dainy types of things. And he ordered Swiss. You can't order Swiss cheese on this stuff in Philadelphia, Joey Ventos. I'm surprised they gave it to him.
And this just tapped into, this was like quail, who's not a smart guy. Remember adding an E to potato in over in Trenton when he went there with a kid? Kid spelled it right. He goes up, oh, you're missing an E here. And he puts an E at the end of potato dummy. Jeez. Yes. If you're out there long enough, if you get these people talking long enough, almost every one of them. The flaw will show up, okay? Oh, I forgot. What am I doing here? Henry, my fault. Okay, Bill O'Reilly's next. I'll give you the rest of the side coming up. My fault here on Talk Radio 1210. This is Talk Radio 1210. WPHT on demand. On demand. All right, big issues, big guest. Dom to your down to show. Let's go. The first interview of the new year with Mr. Bill O'Reilly. Bill, how are you feeling today? All right, busy day. Dom, thanks for having me back. Well, you're welcome. When we saw this illness thing, it seemed to be even more, but you turned it around pretty quickly. Well, you don't know that. I mean, I'm going day by day. It's a malady that's inherited. No real treatment for it. Goes in, goes out. But I had to alert my audience that did no spin news because I don't have a substitute anchor, you know, and I'm just going to disappear. So I do a four-sentence memo saying, you know, I don't get a little mellick and stuff. I've got to take care of. I'll see you in a few days. And then thousands. And I was shocked. Thousands of emails and texts pour in of concern. And I was. It took me about two days to process it. I don't think anybody's ever seen anything like it. So anyway, we're up and running now, but tomorrow, you know, I might be in a jar someplace. Okay. So, Bill, one of the things I wanted to talk about, and we've talked a little bit about this before, but it is a prime thing, and that is the presidential interview at the Super Bowl. And you were one of the pioneers of getting that started. And you with President Obama, if I were training someone coming into the media to do what we do in different ways, I'd have them watch that, put your commentary on what's going through your mind saying, I don't care he is the president. I'm not going to let him filibuster. I got to cut in here. It's like a prize fight because these interviews were live. They weren't edited. Highest wire you can walk. very rarely done anymore. The last residential Super Bowl interview I did was with Trump and 16, and that was a taped situation. But with Obama and with Bush before him, they were live. And before the interview, I was in the White House. And I got along with Barack Obama pretty well. I think it was a mutual respect. You know, he was annoyed at some of the things I said, but so was Trump. And so was Bush. I mean, I just go all the way I see him. But I said to him before the interview, look, we got 18 minutes here. You can do an answer, one answer in 18 minutes. You can do 18 minutes on my socks. Okay? You know, you can run out the clock. But I hope you don't do that.
And I said, I'm going to give you a signal when I want to jump in so I don't have to cut you off. And the single was that I would raise my index finger. And then he would know that I wanted to get in. Right. And it worked. It worked. So the president makes the rules, but he abided by that. And the interview was not contentious, but certainly no cupcake. Super Bowl interviews done by the network people have been Cupcake interviews. Oh, Mr. President, what kind of drapes do you have? You know, that's because they don't have the ability. You know, I don't even think they're in the tank at times. They just don't have the ability to do that. That's a lot of pressure, as you said, and it is the president, but you do have to cut in at times when you're not getting anywhere. You can't hector him, though. It's Super Bowl Sunday. So, Bill, if you had President Trump, I think you've interviewed. for a book and you've interviewed him a hundred times and you've been around him a thousand, I guess. What would you be asking him right now that would be insightful and might even be helpful to his presidency? Well, it's not my job to be helpful to his presidency. In fact, I just spoke with the president for a lengthy period of times this morning. And the topics were the story that I broke about Singham in China. sending tens of millions of dollars to groups to violently protest in this country. He watched the No Spin News, saw the report, he wanted to back up that we have, and I gave it to him. Now, some journalists might not have, but I'm doing this for my country. And so that was, and then we talked about Iran and some of the other situations that are fluid right now. My interview style is this. I go with breaking news first. Iran is the next big thing. I think the ice stuff is calming down. The Goldman did a very good job in Minneapolis, by the way. And those deportations are going to proceed. Trump administration is not going to surrender. But there's going to be different tactics used, and that's a good thing. But my conversation with the president today wasn't like a Super Bowl interview because... It was equal back and forth about, all right, here's the problem. How do you attack it? That's not what you do in an interview. But there's a lot of stuff swirling around in midterms. So if I had an interview President Trump for the Super Bowl, and I don't even think he's doing a Super Bowl interview this year, I would zero in on the midterm elections and say, look, here's what the situation is. Almost every poll has you down. how are you going to turn it around? That's where I begin. Are you of mind my mantra on this whole thing, Bill, is the president can do all these rallies. That's good. I think he's turning around a whole plethora of things on affordability and all that stuff. The reluctant Trump voter, in other words, he's not on the ballot. He's got to tell him bluntly things like you're not a patriot if you don't come out and vote. You just have to vote. Do you see it that way or the Republicans that were today are going to lose? What do they have to do in your view? What does he have to do to do to turn that? I think it's doable. The election is going to be all about Trump, not the independent candidates that are running. Okay. And right now, the American public is a little bit dazed.
because of high health insurance costs, car insurance, house insurance, and some food. If you're smart, you can get the food down. And oil, gas price is coming down, home mortgages coming down, all of that. So the essence of what the Republican Party and President Trump has to do is to lay out very clearly, this is what... is going to benefit you. These are our policies. Here's how you're going to benefit. First, Alvo, is a tax refund that's coming up. That will buoy most American taxpayers because they get more than they used to. And that will kind of neutralize some of the anger about the health care situation. But if I were President Trump, I would be, you know, pounding those insurance companies. be more fair and to put the nation in the forefront. So I don't know where they outwork or not. Foreign affairs, Donald Trump's doing a very good job. I would agree. I wanted to go back, Bill, with you to China, though. And kudos to you. I don't know if it's your connection when you went there and all that stuff. Didn't the Trump people know this about these, or sense this foreign donors that are funding, the chaos that's out there around ICE and everything else? Were they unaware of that? Or don't they have the evidence maybe that you had? The governor was aware of it because the House Ways and Means Committee looked into this guy saying him in October. So they knew, and John Ratcliffe, the head of the CIA, okay? They know. But they didn't have the specificity that we had. So we made this guy a real person, this heinous guy living in Shanghai. I mean, if he sets one foot on American soil, he'll arrest him, Neville Roy Singham. So I made it as vivid as I could. You know, I'm not a bureaucrat. I said, look, this guy is funding these violent protests from Shanghai. What the deuce is that? So now the government is under pressure to revoke the 501C nonprofits from the groups in America that are getting the money from China, from Singapore. Right. And I think it's going to happen. Now, here's something interesting. The network news, all three of them, refuse to cover the story. It's inexplicable. This is a huge story. But the reason they don't is because this diverts away from Trump's a fascist, Trump's the devil, ISIS terrible. It diverts away from that. So the network news won't cover it. I mean, flat out won't cover it. Boy, oh boy, that is something. Well, that's the downside for the country, but the fact that you're able to unearth this independently, and if we can get it out there enough, what you're doing, et cetera, day to day, that's the upside of this. And the fact that you have access sometimes to Trump, I know there are times when you don't, to get him moving on that bill, because I believe it's clear these people are well-financed, and that's part of it.
Well, that's a big story, but, you know, look, I, the president called me. I don't call him. It's on my job to do that. And he watched the NOSPN News last night, and we had gone over some of the things that Scott Bessent, the Treasury, the Treasury should be doing, and Scott Bessent is dragging his feet. Why? Revolt their charters, okay? So, Mr. Trump call me. And, you know, I'm in the middle of, when the president calls you, Dom, you got to take the call. So no matter what you do it, there's no heads up. Yeah. Oh, my Trump, sure. I'm going to call in 10 minutes. Right, right. Boom. Yeah. And then I'm sitting there in a car, and that, because I was in a car, for 45 minutes, going back and forth, back and forth. But I wasn't trying to convince him of anything. Right. It was important for your listeners to know. It wasn't lobbying. He had questions about what information that we had, and I told him. And he knows that my contacts are the best in the world. I don't think he's a journalist in the world, a bit of contacts than me everywhere. And why? Because of YouTube. Because my broadcast on YouTube. YouTube.com slash Bill O'Reilly go everywhere. And all the foreign government sees them. Believe me, she knows exactly what we've been reporting for the last two weeks. And this is not good for China. Exactly. So I'm in a very intricate place in my life. So I've got to be a journalist. That's my first. And I've got to present information to my... viewers and listeners, which I do every day on the news of the news, but then when my country asked me to help, I'm going to help. Without a doubt, so that's where I am. Absolutely. Well, I'm glad you're able to do that. You're feeling better. What do you have coming up? Is there a book in you often, another event, your usual stuff? I know how proud you are of YouTube. What do you have coming up? Well, I'm going on a Super Bowl, and my doctor's screaming at me. Okay. But I've got to go. I got lots of stuff to do out there. But I'm trying to take it easy. I'm not running around like I usually do. I mean, it's very phonically planned. Every move is planned. So I'll be out there with Bad Bunny on Sunday. And if the... malevolent rabbit gets out of control. He's going to have to deal with me. All right. And then we are writing the last book on our contract called Confronting America What Has to Change. So we're about 75% finished with that. That's going to shock a lot of people. That'll be out next September. All right, Bill. Stay well. Enjoy the Super Bowl. Bill O'Reilly.com. Thank you, Bill. Thanks for having me. Don, always a pleasure. All right. Bill O'Reilly here on Talk Radio 1210. All right, Trump calls him this morning. Oh, my God. I love hearing at the inside. Can you imagine that conversation? All right. Phone lines. I was just in the middle. Let me give you the rest of the side. YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. You see this picture of John Kerry munching dainly.
And this, I'm not saying it swung the election, but it was a very close election. And this really played into this a feat guy with the wind sailing, the French-looking, John Kerry. This is how we eat. You don't eat a cheese state hoagie, first of all. That's crazy talk with all these people. He told them to turn off their cameras. Yeah, right. They're all moved in on it. It was hilarious. Yeah. Something associated with food that you think was a bad move, a person, a debacle, a food that you think. Is that? Henry, what do you have? Yeah, so I got two here. One's more of a faux pa. Okay. How about a well-done cooked steak? I mean, what do you want to do? You're going to eat sawdust? You're going to be chewing for the rest of your night? Like, no, I don't want that stuff between my teeth. I don't want my jaw to hurt. More importantly, I want it to taste good. I want it to be juicy. I'll go even as far to say is that anything past, I don't know. Medium rare. It's too cooked. It's too cooked. I like it rare or medium rare. I mean, anything past that, yeah, I don't want to be chewing all night. And then the other one I'm going to take off the board. It's actually a Pennsylvania speciality here out in Altoona. You talked about pineapple on pizza. How about Altoona style pizza? You ever had that? No. No, so it's a Sicilian-style pizza dough. It's very thick, pan-crusted. Instead of mozzarella cheese on top, it is a slice of yellow craft American. Oh, God. With a ring of bell pepper underneath. I always knew Al-Tuna. was this rugged, it's like on the frontier. But these people, really, that's going too far. You shouldn't be able to call it pizza. Yeah, delicacy. Yeah. Okay. If you could call it that. All right. You want to say, yeah, I'll want to be on the pineapple, Al-Tuna style. Sean, how about yours? Oh, my goodness. I'm still just trying to recover from the Al-Tuna pizza. Oh, my goodness. I have a drink from the internet that someone came up with in a little poem. It's called a white Gilgamesh, which the recipe calls for two-thirds beer and one-third goat milk. Oh, my God. Where is this popular? Yeah, where is this popular? And it served warm. It's popular in Britain, warm. Yeah. Probably. And the other one I've got is this YouTube channel called Ordinary Sausage that will make a sausage out of any substance. No, no. McRib. Beef Wellington, cat food, hot chocolate. Oh, cat food. So this is another YouTube channel. Probably has 50 gazillion viewers. Oh, probably. Yeah, exactly. All right. Cat food sausage. And the cat food one got a good rating. I don't believe that. All right. So look, they're out there. The John Kerry thing, Henry's personal. The pineapple shawns with the YouTube channel. Keep your stakes rare. Yeah. Hit us with that. It's all in the call. It's all in the telling.
And are you a fan still of the TV dinner? Oh, my God. First of me, you brought that up yesterday. I mean, Sean Serino, we're talking about how we used to love a kid cuisine growing up with just TV dinner aimed at kids. I mean, looking back on it, it was so, it's so gross. But like, you know, when you're like, you know, five, six years old, it's a delicacy. Yeah, that penguin is cool. Yeah, the penguin's cool. Oh, my gosh. The tray is blue. You got a brownie at the end, even if it's awful. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Oh, parents. Get the kid's cuisine. All right. It's 855, 839, 12, 10. Coming up, that. And a little bit more on what's happening with this halftime show. We'll talk with Jack Posobic of 1 o'clock. Dr. Oz is here, as I said, fraud all over the place. California. Hospice. Yeah. You're doing something like that. You're pretty bad, right? Somalis, the fake autism. 855, 839, 1210. Thanks for listening to Talk Radio 1210. WPST on demand. All right, Domjia Dano's show. So Josh Shapiro lays out his budget. He wants a cell phone ban in schools. I'm fine with it. I don't know what the holdup is. There are some... groups there that make these legislators nervous, and that's why they don't do it. He talked about $565 million more dollars to upgrade the quality of education. They're spending at record levels that are beyond belief. He talked about reigning in AI in various ways. He talked about SEPTA. Let's not have a divisive thing going on with SEPTA this year. Let's have a long-range funding stream in 527. And now, I'm not for any of that with SEPTA. SEPTA is one of the worst organized efforts anywhere in the world to do anything. And it will continue to be. So we'll see if they start battling and this continues like it did last year. Does it play into the governor's race? Does it play into his hopes presidentially? He also talked about $100 million to be set aside in case Trump cuts federal funding. Now, that's not going to work. All right. Larry Krasner is getting into it with Josh Shapiro now. Now, you would think when Josh Shapiro goes, yo, you can't be calling people Nazis constantly. I oppose that, et cetera. Krasner's response to him doubles down on that. and says, just say it. The moment requires that we call a subgroup of people within federal law enforcement what they are Nazis. Just say it. Don't be a wimp. He says to Josh Shapiro. He went on to say, he cited the rabbi Prince, who spoke at the 1963 March on Washington, saying that silence equals death. Now, what's Josh Shapiro going to do? Josh Shapiro is the big guy here, right? This guy's only a clown DA in Philadelphia. He's the governor. He's the guy that was potentially the VP. He's in the top three, I think. Presidential candidate's going to be hard to beat his governor. And Krasner is still calling him out, doubling, tripling down on the Nazi stuff, tagging him rabbis now with somebody who's Jewish.
This is what he does. What is the magic of this guy that everybody in the world seems to back down, except some of the victims, if it's Gerald family, a Marine Faulkner, people like that. Frankie Scales when he got him in the park. What is the magic here? Even this guy Josh Shapiro now hasn't said anything back. Let's just let it go. He called me a wimp. He's got people out there saying you're a wimp. I'm the only one that's going to call everybody Nazis. What's the magic of Larry Krasner? Where is Cheryl Parker? Is she ever going to say anything with this guy? The answer is no. And they believe that this guy has this mob of people who are fascinated by what he does or what he believes, what they believe he's doing. And he'll call upon him. He's not afraid. He's going to fire away at you. You get into it with him. It's a brawl right from the very beginning. Take the gloves off. It's the only thing you can do. There's no niceties with this. Speaking of that, the whole situation we told you about from the Grammys. It was bad enough, blank ice, all the rest of it. But Billy Irish bringing in stolen land. Now, the Indian tribe has released a statement to Fox that that mansion clearly is in the L.A. basin. That's where they're from. That's their land. When does she plan to meet with them? And we have YouTube.com slash 1210. It's not just her mansions. One's 14 million. One is about 2.5 for her horses. It's also her car collection. Here's a commentator on YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. You can see it detailing her car collection. Did you know singer Billy Eilish has a $2.9 million car collection? We're starting with the 2008 Mazda 5 for 22,000. This little guy right here was the first car she ever owned. Okay, now we're getting a little bit of American muscle here. A 2019 Dodge Challenger, and that's going to be an SXT. In fact, she even nicknamed this car Dragon Baby. It's featured in our music video, everything I want. Next up, we got a 2018 Chevy Suburban. Going to go for 50. Next up we have a 2019 McLaren 600 LT for 240. We're looking at a 208. 18, Kurnazig Agira, RS for 2.9 million. Wow, not only is it hard to say, it's also expensive. They're only 27 units released of this car. All right, tell me the comments. What do you think about her car collection? All right, there you go. I don't care about a car collection. She can have a hundred cars. She can drive one for a half hour and whatever she wants to do. But there is pushback on this. And the pushback is going to continue with these people. I would tell you, it's fine to get outraged by them. But deep down, realize. And Bill Maher makes this point again and again and again. I think, Henry, we have a Bill Maher. Yeah, here it is. Here is Bill Maher, this from Friday night show. This will be cut ten. Bill Maher making the point that I often make. These celebrities are really valuable.
People get angry. And people that are independent base, when they're going back and forth, they look at these people. They are the leadership in some ways, or at least they're always there, with Democrats. Here's Bill Maher's take on people like this. America has many problems, including free speech issues on both left and right. But we're real different than Saudi Arabia. If you don't believe me, try opening a lesbian art gallery there. We're wearing a t-shirt that says Jesus is the one true God. Ricky's right. Celebrities don't know about the real world. So Democrats, it's great. You have all the big celebs. But people see them as an arm of the Democratic Party, which they already suspect for lacking common sense. I know. I know the celebrities mean well, and we thank them for having their heart in the right place, but just do you. Do what you do so well. Use your extraordinary talents for the noble cause of bringing relief from the problems that ribbons and pins can't fix. I know it's very important to you that you feel that you're making a difference, so let me assure you you are. You're making independence vote Republican. There you go. Yep. Keep that in mind with the outrage and all that. Every time you see this nonsense, particularly this woman and the nonsense that she's talking about. And all them together, egg each on to more nonsense. That's what many, many people see. And the bottom line is going to be interesting on Sunday, which brings us to Jack Posobit coming up at 1 o'clock, one of the architects of the alternative Super Bowl. Are people actually going to not watch and or are they going to tune into this in a number that is significant? What's that number? Well, that'll be the battle on Monday. We're doing it ahead. I'd say if you have a million people, and I think they can get it because it's going to be streamed online. And you have people that are tapped into the Turning Point Network, Jack Posobics people, Benny Johnson, all these people engaged in it. Will people actually do it? He'll be here at one, but I'm going to take a couple now in the food thing. 855, 839, 1210. This is Talk Radio 1210. WPHT on demand, on demand. All right, side question today. TV dinner, Swanson, way back when, hit us with that food-related debacle, bad food. You heard all the combinations we put out. 855839, 1210. Let's go to Lance in South Philly on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Lance. I'm afternoon to all. I mean, I can go on and all forever. It was when Hillary Clinton went on the breakfast club and she whips out a bottle of hot sauce. She said she's been carrying around for years. She's pandering. She's sounding, you know, ethnic. Oh, yeah, she starts to do that. I'm not tired. I'm not a bit time. Remember that speech in the sound? I'm not tired. And she got, she has the hot sauce. She even goes, she doesn't stop digging. She even says, Sojourna, truth, carry pepper sauce.
Oh, God, yes. I can even go one more for you. It's when Kamala Harris said that she had so many collard greens, she had to make them in the bathtub. You can't make this stuff up. Thank you, Lance. That's exactly the kind of stuff for Lord. Yeah, Hillary did do that, and she does that. I'm not, Todd. She did that and said she did a little bit there unintentionally. Ah, I had the coward greens. All right, that's what we're looking for. Something related to food that was, you know, a negative. If it could be the food combination, it could be the one that Sean had. I told you the John Kerry debacle was unbelievable. You do that at 855, 839, 1210. I'm not sure when this book comes out. He got it to me very quickly, but YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHTR, buddy Bill Donahue. Christianity in the crosshairs, ruling class and radicals find a common enemy. And the whole thesis is, when you see these people that are billionaires, billionaires, kids, these people of money, why are they allied with all these radicals? Why ideologically are they going that way? And he says the thing they're going after is Christianity. Well, I'm one pretty soon on this. I read about a half of it just in one day. It's a... Good read, a quick read. The guy's brilliant. Thank God he's a Catholic League head. I think you can get on Amazon right now, but we'll have him on pretty soon. All right, Jack Posobic is next. He told me today that he's cutting a promo, a film for the halftime show. And since I talked with him or texted with him, there have been developments. Are you going to tune in? Are you going to find a way to do it? It will not be an easy platform like turning on broadcast TV, but it'll be on his stream, all the Turning Point USA, things like Rumble, wherever one American network is. It's a patchwork. And he'll tell you what they're trying to do, what the acts are and what may happen, some kind of reveal with Kid Rock. will be going on. Will they get an audience? Or will the NFL just bludging to death, everything else? And on Monday, people will be singing the praise as a bad bunny and telling us what a master stroke, diversity, and all the rest of it. All right, phone lines are 855, 839, 12, 10. You get a line. This is cut 15, Henry. Here's Kid Rock teasing the surprise turn at the halftime show. Cut 15. Could you speak to kind of the faith element of this, too? It's not going to be like necessarily a worship set or anything, but I just, I know that's important to you as well. And are you planning on integrating any of that into your set? I would love to tell people what I'm doing, but I think the element of surprise is really what's going to make it special because no one's going to be expecting this 180 that I'm going to do. I'm trying to make it as unselfish as possible, but at the same time, just play something great. I'm like, there's nothing.
you know, that we can do, that I can do. And trust me, I'm going to come out and hit him with the kid rock, like boom, bang, the whole, but that's going to stop very quickly, and I'm going to take it back to music. Because one thing I know for sure, no matter what Bad Bunny does, what the NFL is doing, nothing. Nothing is more powerful than a good song. Nothing. So if you just stick to playing good songs, that's the win right there. And of course, I mean, there's an aspect of, There's a very aspect of faith in this song that I'm going to do. It's not my song. I'll tell people that. It's not a song I wrote, but I did write a verse for it, which is very, very faith-based. All right. So they're blending a Christian with sort of pop. I don't know how you hand off to Nicky Minaj. It's diverse in this. So it would be a surprise guest, but Jack is inside this, how difficult it was to put this together. since there's no real central platform for this, even though I think there's an audience for it. But they're going to make you earn it. You're going to have to go and find it, essentially, as the way that I would put it. Will people actually do that in revolt? Or will they just turn to the puppy thing, you know, for halftime, whatever that's on? Or ice skating, usually they put on. 855. I'd love to see a breakdown of the channels, what the counter program. I think some just give up. Yeah, totally. They just say, I'm giving up. They can put me on. I'll tag in there and do that and come up with something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get paid while you're doing it because no one's watching you. All right, we'll see about that. We're going to see, can they get a million people say? Seems like a lot, which it's not. I ask Jack, do you think 10 million's possible? I mean, these influencers have 60 million people together. But are they going to watch? All straight ahead on Talk Radio 1210. Tom Giardano, weekdays, noon till 3, from Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. Tom Giardano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, big issues, big guest. Nobody bigger at this moment. He's an alum of Talk Radio 12, the Big Talker, which I like a lot better when we were the big talker. I don't know why we ever get rid of it. Always used to be fun with that. He is a major influencer, military service extraordinarily, and one of the architects of getting this done to actually not say just boycott bad bunny, but actually to put on something else. Isn't that the whole idea? How challenging is that? Apparently, very challenging. Let's go to Jack Basobic again here on the Dom Gerdano program. Jack, congratulations so far. And this seems like climbing Mount Everest. What have the challenges been? Oh, Dom, well, thank you so much for having me on, and I appreciate the warm intro. But, of course, you always leave out the part that I used to be Dom Girodano's intern many moons ago back when it was down in Ballot-Kinwood. The screening process was a lot tougher than. Man, when you had to go through and do that thing today. Oh, we can't even say that publicly some of that stuff. They won't even let you do it anymore. Yeah.
Yeah. So, Jack, how challenging to do this because this is a natural alternative to the Super Bowl. You're a programmer. You know how hard it is the program against it. What's the challenge? Well, Dom, I'll tell you right now, and I'll be frank. The... When we came up with this idea to do a Super Bowl alternative, it wasn't even, you know, any of ours idea. It was Charlie's idea that he was someone who always railed against what the halftime shows were doing. He was someone who said, this is getting too divisive. It's too political. It's too polarizing. Why can't we just have a show that celebrates our country, celebrates who we are, and gives patriotism? And we used to joke, he and I about, you know, what if we held our own, you know? And then when... When this particular individual was announced for the halftime show, you know, right in the wake, of course, of Charlie's murder and all the other things that happened and we just done the memorial, I said, on Twitter, I said, guys, what if we just do it? What if we just go for it and do it? And at first, it seemed obviously, you know, this, like you say, this seemed like climbing Mount Everest, you know, without even an ice pick. And... We got so much support, the ground swell of response, the media support. We had people who came in and said, how can I help you, people who wanted to perform. But I will tell you, the biggest challenge that we've faced, and there's certain things I can't get into yet because it hasn't, you know, we haven't done it yet. It'll be this Sunday. Of course, I'll just say this. There's a lot of people who don't want this. show to happen. And there's a lot of people in corporate America, because remember, corporate America has so much invested in the other show. That is the big corporate night, the dollars, the industry, the amount of, the bill, we're talking billions and billions of dollars that are tied up into this. And if along comes some upstart independent media production. with an independent grassroots organization that puts on a show that has numbers that rival it, suddenly all those advertisers are going to be asking, why did we pay all the money to this one? Wait a minute, Jack. I go crazy and shoot for the moon, but rivaling it, I was thinking if you get a few million people, given what I know to put on something and the hurdles, the NFL and everybody else, do you have a metric? What would be a success given? Mainly this is being streamed, et cetera. We really think we have millions of people that are going to do that on Sunday. How do we have a sense of that? Is it from you on Twitter and Benny Johnson and people like that? It is from that. And we're going to be doing everything we can to crush the numbers. I think the numbers themselves will become sort of the information warfare to fight over the narrative. You know, so the one side is going to say that theirs was the best and the other side is going to say it's theirs. But here's the thing. What I, what my call is to everyone, my challenge is if you're someone who's out there, you're a three-time Trump voter, or maybe you just woke up.
yesterday and you know in 2024 i should say and said you know what i'm sick of the way things are going i'm voting for trump this is the show for you if you're someone who's just sick of watching that nonsense watch the game go ahead watch the game but you know something Turn off that show and watch hours because this is the one that's going to be a celebration of America. It's unifying. It's patriotic. It's not political. There's no, you're not going to see politics in this. You're not going to see any, you know, we're not, you know, it is, it is obviously a midterm election year, but, you know, we're not doing anything like that. It's just. good American music. We do have a Pennsylvania native, by the way, performing. We're very excited about that. Who's that? Gabby, Gabby Amy Coney Barrett. So she's from the, she's from the Pittsburgh area and really excited to have her out and to be a part of this. And she, like so many others, is now facing criticisms. How could you do this? How could you go involved with something like this? Because They're trying to put a black mark on anyone who performs at the Turning Point concert, and that, or the Paptime show you, that's the kind of world that we're living in, where it's the big corporate conglomerations versus the grassroots patriotism. And in so many ways, that's been the story of the MAGA movement for the last 10 years. It's people coming up saying, I don't like what either side has given me. I want something different. And you know what? We believe that there is a silent majority that does want some good country music like Gabby Amy Coney Barrett, like Brantley Gilbert, like Lee Bryce, and then, of course, the great kid rock headlining the entire thing. Rumors of a surprise guest. I know you can't give it away, but Nikki Minaj. I am not at liberty to discuss any surprises, guests, anything like that. I can't get into anything like that. I can't. Although, suffice to say, you know, she, I was, I was. You know, we were very honored that she joined us for the America Fest. And I was actually ran into a wedding this weekend down at Trump Doreau. How about a group like Creed? That's what listeners were talking about. So it's mainly country and whatever kid rock, however we would box him. These are not explicitly Christian or will it be some of that? Well, so the issue with, I mean, I can be public about this because it's just obvious. The issue with Creed is that their band has, they have a side band called Alter Bridge, which is all the members of Creed with a different singer, and they're actually on tour at the same time as this.
So it just, just from the very start, they had a pre-planned tour. I think they're going to be in Spain or something. So they're not even going to be in the United States. So it's just from the very start. It didn't work because of the dates. And we keep in mind, we've only had a couple of months, really, to plan this out. This isn't something that we've, you know, these other shows get planned years in advance. We've thrown this together basically since November. Yeah, I told people, given just some of the stuff I do, let alone on this level, it's almost impossible to. achieve it. You're really just firing all over the plate, particularly when you have the forces of corporate America coming after you. So, Jack, it's in a stadium, right? It is going to be in a studio. So it's going to be more like a, it's going to be more like a, it's going to be more like a, think of it like a Grammys or, you know, an Oscar's kind of performance, like that kind of performance is where we're going to be in. Okay. And the best way, of course, we go to you, we go to your Twitter, right? But what are some of the best ways you think people can remember to do this? Well, and it's going to be huge. And so, of course, you go on X, it's going to be all over X. You go on Rumble, it's going to be all over Rumble, truth social. But then we also have our partners, Real America's Voice, Daily Wire. So there's going to be a lot of different partners out there that we work with on a regular basis. We're all going to be posting it, and as well as the Turning Point USA Social. So if you follow Turning Point on YouTube or Rumble or X, you'll find it right there. Well, we see Erika Kirk, do you know? I think it's really going to be more music. It's going to be more focused on the music than anything else. But I'll just put it this way. Charlie's presence will be felt. Absolutely. Well, Jack, thank you. Thanks for the access. Where do we go to find you on X? Where do we go? It's at Jack Posobic, P-O-S-O-B-I-E-C. All right, Jack. Thank you very much. If any other updates, just let me know and we'll get people to go. Absolutely, Dom. God bless, man. Thank you. Jack Posobic here on Talk Radio 1210. All right. That gives you an idea. So look, this is a dawning task. I got after hearing him figure this, there are a lot of people that these influencers are like maybe 10 of them. And Daily Wire, Rumble, One America Network. He mentioned the turning point people. They'll turn out. But, you know, to put out a number there that's in the millions would be shocking. So are you going to give it a shot? Maybe you'll even have the other on, then you're going to have this on just to see what they're doing. That's okay. It's going to be interesting to see. Now, globally, this will be a home run for the NFL. I mean, they've got the biggest entertainer arguably in the world at this point. Maybe not even arguably. He probably is. They got all this buildup. But you heard what he said, behind the scenes, they can't have this. I don't know how much is invested in the halftime show, but it's huge. I don't know if sponsorship goes up more around some prime spot there. I know the average commercial is about $8 million this time around. So we're talking big, big money. And if it happened that they happen to.
get a decent number, which I would say a couple million, something like that. NFL may not say it publicly, but they're going to take notice of that because that's what the end game is. Here's the end game of the NFL. It's the same game. They play this all the time. Can they keep people that are traditional Americans? Can they keep that? Because the bad bunny play is not that at all. It's more than just. younger, hip, or something like that, it goes beyond that, I think. Can they keep that and then add on to it both in sheer numbers and also plant the seeds for the NFL in the long, long game? I mean, I don't see NFL football any day. Look, they have soccer a lot of these countries. They love it. I mean, it's fanatic. People almost go to war over this. Go figure. Are they really going to say, oh, yeah, let's look at NFL football. Minor, you know, I don't see it. I think basketball is more of a global sport, obviously. I don't think it rivals soccer yet, but it's made inroads. But that's what their game is. Can they keep you while also adding something alluring, exotic, different at the same time? And they're banking on the fact, and it's a good bank. America wants NFL football. There's no doubt about it. It is almost bulletproof. I mean, I think Odell's a moron. But he's got a product that you almost can't unsell, despite all the difficulties with it. It's that much of what America wants. Baseball knows that, for example. They can't compete. I mean, it's not even a competition anymore. They do okay. But this is something they're talking about an 18th game now, which is insane. And I'm not sure, you know. I've talked about this, Henry. I don't know about you. How do you make peace at the fact that what? A third of players are going to end up with CTE or CTE related. That's the over and under. That's a fair number. How do we sit there? Now, my only thing in conscience is to say, well, they know it now. In the past, they didn't know it. Now they know it. The risk is one third or so are going to end up in their 40s or 50s with something ghastly. Well, that's the risky run. I mean, look, you're getting paid a lot to do this job. It is a dangerous job, but you are a professional at it. Right. I mean, it's just the risk you run. It's like, I don't know, if you're working on like an oil rig or something, you run the risks of, you know, what it is, you know, the dangers of working on an oil rig. But we're not sitting there entertained by the oil rig. I guess not. Okay, that's even better. You get the celebrity status with it. Well, that's true. Like, I get it. And they are making the game saver, whether it's the helmets, whether it's the rules, whether it's the guardian caps they put on the helmets. I mean, there are ways to mitigate the risks of the CTE. They're too big and too fast. That's my sense of it. They're just too big and too fast. Well, everyone's too big and too fast. So what's the point? They're all strong. They're all.
Maybe the, like, rule set just needs to be adjusted to, like... They have. They have, they have. They have shown it still. Considerably over the years because of the rules they have put in place in order for players not to get cracked over the middle on a blind side hit or things like that. But it's still resulting in this. I mean, I, that's my sense of it. I hear what you're saying, and they know it now. So, okay. All right. So will you get beaned in the head in baseball 100 miles an hour, right? That's rare. That's rare versus this. This is continuous. Well, I think with the rules in place now, it's getting more and more rare that you get lit up like that. I don't think you have to be lit up. It's small, little. Yeah, obviously if you're a line, you know, it's a mini car crash every play. Maybe that could be the exception. But I think everyone else, for the most part, is as I understand it, it is. from high school on just the constant pounding. It doesn't have to be overwhelming concussion that you run a risk of this. But they know it now. So I try to tell myself that. Yeah, I'll be watching. But I'm going to watch the episodic sponsor event. Will you? Or is this just going to be the Charlie Kirk people and maybe a few that follow all these influencers on Twitter? Will this on Monday? You already said that would be the Info War. They'll say 20 million. The NFL will say 100,000 or something like that. That's what we'll get. Who will arbitrate this? All right. Phone lines are 855-839-1210. That's how you get on board, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless. All that you need do is just push pound 1210. Coming to your calls next on Talk Radio 1210. This is Talk Radio 1210. WPHT on demand. On demand. All right, it is Dom time, 85, 839, 12, 10, you get on board CNN this morning that Harry Enten on fire, I don't need to play the sound of it, breakdown of how do people feel about voter ID? Now, we had a little content, and I admired Linda Kern yesterday. She doesn't like... the national part of this versus the state part. There's a little bit of a divide on this, and Republicans pushing forward on voter ID. It's a debatable thing in that constitutionally, the state level is the way to go. But this is so appalling how difficult it is with voter ID. The numbers CNN had this morning on just voter ID. White voters, self-described white voters, 85% in this big poll. Latino voters, 82% agreed. And here's the kicker, 76% on CNN. 76% black voters want voter ID. Picture, I think they said photo or picture, voter ID. And yet Democrats. have been able to thought this. Now, some of it is goofball Republicans like Tom Corbett. I was there. We did a Corbett show and all that. They screwed up. They had both the House and the Senate, and we just could not effectively get voter ID going. It got into play. It was out there the whole time and could not get it done. Just unbelievable. He just didn't see they were going to say, people can't afford it. They can't do this.
And instead of making a big splash doing what I told him to do, be out there on a truck going through neighborhoods with a loudspeaker. You need a photo, setting it up all over the place, putting resources into it, going on TV, debating every single one of these creeps. And what happened? We didn't get voter ID. I forget how many states might have it right now of some sort. It is maddening to see these numbers, though. Look, 85% of white voters. That tells you even some crazy liberals. Maybe not the crazy progressive women story. 82% of Latinos and 76% of blacks. Round off the numbers however you want. And the numbers come out to say this is another easily 80-20 issue. And yet, they just can't get it over the finish line. Now, the media is complicit in this. I've played several times debating Joe Sestack, then Congressman Sestack running for office, the Admiral at Cheney State University in front of a pretty big crowd on statewide TV. And he made up the story of this 90-year-old woman, she can't vote, Dom. How about that and all the rest? Then he admitted they had gotten her the ability to vote. You know, proof of that. First, whatever it was. Bottom line is this is such an easy issue. Now, I've talked at times with Linda and others. How is it where is the hole in the system that is suspect where shenanigans can happen, particularly in a close election? That's something else. Take the experts. Let's look at that. But. They scream all day long. This is the argument I've seen in debates with these people. We're solving a problem that isn't a problem. Why are we trying to solve something that's not a problem? Well, let's solve this. Is the intrusion of this so vast? I mean, you know the list of what you need. For example, just to get in our building here, to get in a pharmacy with certain stuff. You constantly need some form of identification. We have the cockamamie. Raised ID, the real ID to get on a plane and federal building. And now, well, no, you know, you can pay 45 hours. So how can you function really? How many people in America can function without some form of identification that we're talking about here? And the answer is not very many. Now, how many don't have it? That's kind of unknowable. But the bottom line is when I saw the CNN story and see them talking about it here, it's pretty clear to me. that America wants this. CNN now, 76% of self-identified African-American voters. Again, we got the media. We got the die-hard progressives. We can't get this over the finish line. Now, with Josh Shapiro there right now, you know we're not going to do that. You've got to have the governor's office so they can't veto it. They only have a one-vote majority, Democrats in the House, and yet they're able to stop everything. So this is coming up again. The citizenship part, yeah, I'm on board with that too. But the voter ID part is a no-brainer. President Trump going around saying, well, we just ought to do all this nationally, is not the look it's going to get us over the finish line. Okay? This has to be handled more calmly on this to win on it.
And in the past, we haven't been successful at that. But this poll today is indicative to me, whatever the final number is. It has widespread support, very high support. Let's go to Robert. John Roberts in Ben Salem. He's on Talk Radio 12. Hey, Robert. Hey, Dom Henry, good to talk to you guys today. Same here. Hey, happy Groundhog Day. Thank you. I was thinking about the halftime show, and I was wondering, like, what percentage of people who watch the game actually watched a halftime show. And usually it's pretty fluid as far as there's not much of a difference. However, Kendrick Lamar, when he did the halftime show, He added six and a half million viewers to the halftime show watching. It went from 127 to 133 million. But I think a lot of that is most people, Dom, I mean, there's going to be people that watch Bad Bunny. There's going to be people to watch something else. But most people don't watch because they're getting more beard or making a run to the store. They're doing it. But while they're doing what they're doing, they leave the TV on. Right. Well, that's all that counts. It's the number. Right. Exactly. So if you want to make a impact on this and you're not into the Bad Bunny thing, You would need to change your channel or turn the TV off during halftime. I don't know if a lot of people are going to go through all that, Dom, but I'm hoping that the alternatives do better this year than in prior years. But whatever happens, I'm going to love the game, you know. Yeah, sure. But I would say the base, though, is there. The Charlie Kirk people are in the millions. These people with influencers, they're the people that I think are going to do that. Now, how much? You know, I think Jack was getting a little ahead of us here when he said, Challenge. You're right. A lot of these are going to be bots. The TV's on. Nobody's watching this stuff, but it counts. From a new standpoint, this might be the most interesting halftime show in a long time just because of what viewers might do as a result. Oh, yeah. If it gets a couple million, even, even though that's a drop in the bucket versus the NFL. That's something that tells you in the future with a bigger act, more time, and something else in there, you might be able to do some damage to them. But, again, don't get too wrapped up in this, people. I mean, do what you normally do and enjoy the day. That's all I have to say, man. You know what I mean? Sure. For my side question, I'm going to go with something pretty simple. People who put steak on, are people who put ketchup on a fine steak?
I went out on a date one time, and we got filet mignon, and she reached for the ketchup bottle, Dom. And I was looking at her, and I'm like, please tell me you're not going to put ketchup on that steak. Why, why, why? I got her to try A1, and she's like, okay, that's a lot better. But no ketchup on fine food. Well, you know what? That reminds me of the Bronx tale. You know what Sonny would say with the ketchup on the steak, like not lifting a lot. Dumber. Dumber right there. Remember he told the kid that? Dumber. That's a waste of talent. You guys have yourselves a great day, all right? Yeah, thank you. Nothing worse in life than talent, a waste of talent. De Niro constantly with the talent. You remember that. Okay, coming up. Dr. Oz with us. Dr. Oz is coming back from a tour of California, and I think Minnesota. I know California and the fraud associated with California hospice care, millions of hospice care. In addition to that, he's the point person on the drug pricing, most favored nation status and all that. I'll ask him about that, the food pyramid, and we'll see what else comes up. Dr. Oz next on Talk Radio 1210. First, attention, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, home sellers, if you were over 16, even thinking about selling in 2026, do not start too late as sellers are losing thousands before the sign ever goes up. They fix the wrong things, they guess on price, and they get blindsided at inspections. And we just did this great seminar with Diane. If you weren't there, she discussed should you downsize now or stay put, capital gains, how to declutter 30 years of your stuff. What do you fix or not fix? Should you sell as is? And how to price and market your home to sell fast. If you miss this, just reach out to Diane right now at 215576-8666. She's ready to show you how to price and market your home to sell fast. 215576-866 or 215576-866.com. Thanks for listening to Talk Radio 1210 WPHT on Demand. All right, momentarily, Dom Gerdano's show, the hits keep on coming. We'll talk with the great Dr. Oz. Dr. Oz, of course, is the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and he has quite a bigger portfolio in the Trump administration. YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. You'll be able to see and hear it. Dr. Oz, welcome back to Philadelphia. Thanks for joining today. Dom, I was kidding your team. I was getting a cheese steak, but I would never do that in Washington, D.C. Well, you know what? Your colleague there, the secretary, said last week he would eat the cheese store. Two weeks ago, I think he was on. He'd eat the cheesecake, but not the bun. He's right. You know, he's on a strict meat and...
diet. So you got to eat with him. He brings his own bottle of kimchi or, again, yogurt that has some fermented product in there. He wants the probiotics to help with his intestines so he can digest more efficiently. And then he only eats protein from steaks. So it's a pretty straightforward diet. He looks fantastic. I commented the idea he looked like a gazelle. But he's doing well with that. I've actually tried it for a while. My taste buds diverge, but he's right about the cheese steaks. If you leave the bun off, it's actually a pretty healthy meal. It is. Dairy, meat, sauces. I'm kind of a pescatorian and vegetarian, and the saturated fats, that's the only thing in the interview we can test it a little bit. The saturated fats are okay, in Dr. Oz's view. Yes. The arguments against saturated fast were based on flawed data, which actually were overturned in the 70s, and they never published the data because it didn't agree with what everyone had been saying. So it's unfortunate. I do think the people who were dishonest about the studies were doing the best they could for the country. They just thought that their data was wrong, and they didn't want to confuse us. But it turned out the data wasn't wrong, and they didn't tell us. And so the food pyramid that Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. bravely flipped bright side up again. pushes us to not vilify saturated fats, but instead to recognize that when you replace saturated fats with other foods, they tend to be simple carbohydrates, grains, white bread, white flour, sugar. And so the tradeoff is definitely not in your best interest. And most of the problems with your cholesterol and with atherosclerosis, which causes heart attacks and strokes and the like, is because you got fat. And so most of the things you do that gets you to lose weight, including cutting back on carbs and, you know, trying to eat more in case of Bobby red meat are going to benefit you, which, Dom, is an important point because I know we're not going to focus on this, but the most favored nation drug pricing that the president has gotten through allows us to sell these weight loss medications, the so-called fat shots, as he calls them, for a fraction of the price of what they currently cost. And that's going to come to a... Pharmacy near you very soon. We're going to be talking a lot about that. But I'm optimistic that a lot of Americans are going to lose weight. And in particular, in Philly, where I spend out of time, there's a lot of people can benefit from these weight loss medications. So if you're not going to eat right and exercise and sleep and do the things that naturally take you to lose weight, maybe try this as a tactic. All right. I think you and am I wrong, though, you and the secretary are not exactly joined at the hip on that. He seemed to be reluctant. I'm more reluctant. on that. Isn't that encouraging people a bit? I'm glad you're lowering the price and people that are obese and have tried everything, all that stuff. But should the average person be looking at that? No, the average person should do just what Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and you and most rational people would argue. Do the things that naturally took us back to our playing weight. There's a bunch of reasons for that, but they're good for you for reasons beyond your weight. But if you have, for whatever reason, and some of it is genetic, some people are more prone to gain weight than others. Don't just blame it on genes, but there is an element of that. These medications help fix that problem, so it puts you at your playing weight.
All right. Now, you've been on a tour, and I say every time that we talk, and again, thank you for being so generous with your time, that you've taken this job, and it really has become a platform for you to have a huge portfolio around stuff. So as I understand it, you've been looking at fraud in California, hospice fraud. I mean, how low do we go? What is the fraud in California you've been looking at? There's been a sevenfold increase in people on hospice in California. And just so everyone's on the same page, hospice is where you go for the last six months of your life. If you're dying of cancer, for example. So it's supposed to have a pretty high chance that you'll die in those six months. You give up your Medicare. You give up your regular insurance to enter this program. And so these scoundrels are tricking Americans into giving up their regular insurance when they're not dying. Regular people, they're just lonely or by themselves. So knock, knock, knock, young woman comes to, it's a real story, by the way, comes to your home, convinces you, you get a free TV if you sign here, you sign up, you're basically vacating, giving up your Medicare, you know, the insurance that is the pearl of our health care system, that it's yours and you own it and you should never give it up. But you give it up, you go in the hospice, and then if you're not really dying and you get sick, you can't get care anymore. And these hospice centers have 100% survival rate. No one dies in them because they're not sick people. And so these scoundrels, many of them foreign nationals, when there have been efforts to convict them, they flee back to Russia, which is where they came from. And so we're stuck with the reality that we have now weaponized the fraud in California. And it's gotten so bad that doesn't just stop at hospice. It's gone to home health care. It's beginning to impact durable medical equipment. A lot of other things that... are foundationally important to the function of the system, we think there's at least three and a half billion dollars just in Los Angeles. Wow. Just in Los Angeles. And you may be asking, why? Like, why would Gavin Newsom allow this? And I have a hypothesis. I can't prove it. But if you offer someone a social service, like Medicaid, you also are supposed to offer them a voter ID, the right to vote. And so I think this might be some massive political patronage. Why are you allowing these companies? In the area that I visited in Van Nuys, California, just outside of, in the outskirts of L.A., there were 43 hospices in a four-block area. 43. How's that possible? So obviously there's something going on. Unless you're purposely not looking for it, it's hard to miss it. Let me break this down, too. We know the Somali thing, and equally villainous is the Somali fake autism thing, which is huge problem. Why is it, how does it work that these close-knit groups who come here? You mentioned the Russians there, the Somalis. Does that play out? What does that do is the infrastructure to set these? I'm sure there are other Americans, but how does that play into the infrastructure to make this con so vast? So let's talk about Medicaid for a second. Medicaid pays for hernia operations, right? If you have a hernia operation, there's a lot of people that can prove that you had an operation and you got a scar.
But a lot of Medicaid, maybe 40% of it, pays for home and community services. So these are paying for things that your family would normally do for you, carrying the groceries up the stairs, driving you to a doctor's appointment, babysitting your kids. So you're now getting money for things that if your family wanted to do, they could claim they were doing for you, or you could claim you were sick and needed them to do it for you, and we can't tell. So Colstead communities can come together and say, you know what? We want all the moms in our community to see their kids have autism. And then if you do that, we're going to make sure that the autism money that was designed for, you know, a couple of these kids, now we can get a hundred times more of that money, and we can give it to all the moms in the community, even if their kids don't have autism. That's what happened in Somalia, with the Minnesota. It was not just Somalians, but the majority of the people that have been indicted have been from Somalian descent from that community, but it went from a $3 million anticipated budget to $400 million. It's a lot of money. And that money, of course, is being taken out of the pockets of people who really need the care. And you don't have access to the care. Because if every child in the neighborhood has autism, then no child really has autism because there aren't services to give it to them. So these are the kinds of things that are infuriating to the president, Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. I mean, there are a lot of American taxpayers who are upset about it. But I've got to point out, the harmed people, the vulnerable populations that need these services, they're hurt the most. So if you care. about our most vulnerable citizens. Those at the dawn of life, children, most children are born into poverty, they're on Medicaid. If you worry about our seniors who are having disabilities, if you worry about people who are living in the shadows, as Hubert Humphrey said. Those people, they actually pay up the price of their health and their life. In addition to the fact that the taxpayers are listening right now paying cash. If you're in Philly right now, your federal tax dollars are going to California to pay for hospice fraud in L.A. That's where your money is going. You know, one of the beauties of this job is that I happen to be able to interact with you. And off the air, you're just as generous to hear out, you know, what this audience, what people are saying. I happen to see this morning, Dr. Oz, Stanford University, this student there, they were interviewed the Financial Times. 40% of the students at Stanford are labeled now disabled. That allows them to get perks, more time on test, better rooms because you're disabled. They have to accommodate under various acts. So I thought I would mention that to you. It might be of interest given this is like an Kay Ivey League school, big college, the nonsense are doing. And she said, well, if we don't claim that, we're at a disadvantage against other students, 40% at Stanford, according to the financial times, are now disabled. Dom, my alma mater. From medical school and business schools, Penn, as you know. Right. I can almost guarantee you Penn has that problem, too. Columbia, where I'm on the faculty, guaranteed they have the problem. I went to undergrad of Harvard, guaranteed they have the problem. I've seen numbers, maybe not 40%, but in that space. I never knew anybody in my class. First of all, how do you go to Stanford with a problem taking tests? Yes. Like, is that by itself disqualifying? But this is what I'm talking about when you defraud the system, it becomes systemic.
It doesn't stop one or two bad players. They're probably a dozen kids in Stanford cheated. And, like I said, they were disabled. They did better than everybody else. So the next year, 24, then 48, the 96, and it just exponentially grows. That's what the, listen, I'll give you a story about L.A. And, by the way, Philly's got its own issues, and we're coming, we're coming to visit. I was going to ask that next. We'll roll out the red carpet. But L.A., this doctor owns five hospice centers. Five. We should never own five hospice. He's only doing it so he can stay below the radar, pretend that he's not doing this. Gets these five. He's building a massive house, beautiful place, apparently. And the plumber comes in to put the, you know, help with the contracting. And the plumber says, hey, you know, you're building this great house. I know you're in the hospice business. I got a sidehouse. So I'm in the hospice business. And the guy sort of dumbfounded the doctors. I mean, what's, what, what's, what, what, what, what, what, what, I know what in world order would you be running hospice? Yep, guy said, no problem, my own one. And then the carpenter overhears the plumber and says, me too. I also have a side hustle business. I'm a, I'm a hospice owner. So pretty soon, everyone in the blocks owns hospices because they're all making money. And they're bribing people to get patients. 43, you said, in a four-block area. Wow. So, again, what would you say to assure our listeners? Obviously, you're on top of it. You're exposing this. The challenge you say is these people then flee some of them back to the home country. How many are going to be indicted? How much are we moving forward on that is what people would like to know? And Dom, I know they want to know that. This is the wrong question to ask. The right question is, are they going to be able to steal my money? And the answer is no. So the indictments are hard. Take a long time. These guys are devilishly clever. They have a lot of money. They hide behind politicians. They hide behind their lawyers. Our job, the money never leaves the door. I want that money staying here. I want it going back into the coppers. I want it to make the Medicare trust fund less. A long, long time without having to increase taxes, I want to give the money back to the American taxpayer. But what I don't want to do is spend a lot of time traveling to Russia trying to catch these bad apples. Just the money should never leave the building. And we're going to do the same thing in Pennsylvania, which has got a bad reputation when it comes to fraud. To put it mildly, thank you, Dr. Out. What's next? What's the most imminent thing next in your department or health and human services? What are you guys? I know the mental health thing dropping this week. What's the next big thing? We have a big concern about personal care services. We're worried about durable medical equipment. There's a whole slew of concerns that we have in the fraud space, all of them one by one. And again, I'm following the rules. I don't want to make a rookie error and do something that allows one of our counterparties to sue me and win. I don't mind getting sued. I get sued all the time. I don't want to put forward rules.
to fix the problem that people can stop me from acting on it. So far, our team has been doing a pretty good job. Absolutely. Dr. Oz, thank you as always. God bless, my friend. Bye, Dom. All right, Dr. Oz here on talk radio. Can you imagine these guys, hospice care? What did he say? 43 of them in a four-block area. Again. And the infrastructure, you know, I asked that about these various ethnic groups this time the Russians. And then fleeing back to the home country or someplace like that. It is massive. You heard it here too, as I suspect it coming to Philadelphia soon. Yeah, Philadelphia needs a day of reckoning. A big day of reckoning. It is just almost cocky about its reputation. for corruption. I don't know if it's like the Somali thing or the Russian thing in Van Ives that he talked about with the hospice care. Everybody said 100% don't die, but they've signed all this stuff over. Gavin Newsom, the infrastructure in California, they don't care about that. They're fine with all that. You know, it's even helpful to them in ways he talked about. All right. We haven't gotten enough good ones yet. We're up next year calls 855, 839, 12, 10. Something food related, like the ones we gave you, the Swanson TV dinner. Something that's a debacle, something that just doesn't meet the standards. I see on Twitter people saying Italians cutting spaghetti, yeah, I think that would be good. Yeah, it could be any number of things or people. The John Kerry thing is an all-timer. Whoever was advising him, you don't order Swiss here in Philadelphia. It played right into the defeat thing. Yeah, all the garden, too. Like, don't put all that crap on it. Yeah. See, all he used to say, me eating lunch at Olive Garden. That was an anathema. It's a good lunch. It's a lot of lunch. Dinner is salt. Yeah, the breadsticks. Yeah, the breadsticks, the soup, there's a lot of salt. But the dinner, now I wouldn't go that far. Now you're going too far. Yeah, I agree. I actually had one of their chefs on at WWDB when I was doing that. We're telling me about all the fancy. And I was like, oh, man, I don't know if I'm believing this. All right, 855. He's in his kitchen. 855835, 839, 12, 10, you get in? AT&T and Verizon Wireless. All we need you to do is just push pound 1210. What a whirlwind, Bill O'Reilly, Jack Posobic, and Dr. Oz, you heard those stories. All right, so their response is to stop the money from going out. I'd also like to see people go to jail. That's very different. By the thousands, by the hundreds of thousands, whatever it takes. And I can hardly wait for Philadelphia.
I got to ask him if I can go when they go to whatever the major scam here. A lot of this home health stuff is constant advertising for that. You got to wonder about what's actually going on there, how much money gets paid out around that. When they come to Philadelphia, you'll hear the screams, though, let alone New York. The Sopratos had that with the Russians involved in all kinds of things. It was a constant theme. The home health care thing, the guy that was laundering money for them. Yeah, the infrastructure is there. They're not the only group, but there's enough of them. 855, 839, 12, 10. Hey, your heart never takes a break. Let's go to Joe and Columbus here on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Joe. Hey, Dom. Should we be surprised that the left side of the aisle doesn't listen to his constituents? They've always known what's better for the masses, more than the masses have known for themselves. Sure, absolutely. That's one of the features, yeah. 76%. of African Americans want one voting ID and they won't listen to their own constituency. How disgusting. Well, and there's equal blame, Joe. I witnessed it up close. These goofball Republicans like Tom Corbett, I was telling him what we have to do here. The media is not going to, even though it's common sense, we're in agreement, et cetera, we'll give you free. You've got to go prove it. You've got to barnstorm. He wouldn't do it. And disaster. We control all three houses. The moment was right. Nothing. Forget their sense of fight. Where's their sense of competition? Right. You know? Yeah. They're just, they're inert. That's what they are. They're inert. Yeah, and Democrats on this will fight. They're the woman in Omen jumping on Gregory Peck in the kitchen. You know, that's what they're going to do.
And that's what I told my three kids. Two of them listen to me. The other one doesn't. She's liberal. Watch the people who know what's better for you than you do. Right. Outside of mom and dad, obviously. Yeah, exactly. What's your side, John? My side is an item. I don't know of anyone who's ever consumed. It's been the most re-gifted gift that I could think of. And that is fruitcake. Well, I am the defender of the fruitcake and ate a 50-year-old fruitcake when I was doing morning drive about 25 years ago. Look at the results. Dom, I got soured from that when I was seven years old. My grandmother had the best sweets closet, and I saw this little plastic container, like something that you would get smaller, but something you would get like Chinese soup in, you know, almost like the Tupperware. And I saw this glistening candy in there. And I... Looked around the corner. My grandmother wasn't anywhere to be found. I opened the lid. I popped a couple in my mouth, and I was gagged. And I would, I swear I'd never, I told her, I asked her, is it, Grandma, Grandma, what is that stuff? She was, that's for my fruitcake. I never had fruitcake after that. Thank you, Joe. All right, we're looking for a food debacle can be the food itself, or some of the people engaged, the Hillary one with the hot sauce, was a good one. Hit us with that because the TV dinner. was invented or I don't know what was the moment where they said, aha, it must have been the tinfoil maybe, was perfected that they put it out there. 1954 on Sunday was the date that it was launched in America. I wish there was an easier way to heat up my Salisbury steaks. Oh, there you go, right? Can you imagine, by the way, dinner with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. Oh, God, hearing doctor. Oh, yeah, well, the intestines. That'll kill you, Doc. Don't eat that. Yeah, I am not eating sad. I don't care what the two of them say. You've got to be kidding. Steak all the time and saturated fat. I'm not. Oh, you wouldn't last at them, no. No, no, it's just not, it's not in my gut instincts to think that's the way to go. Okay, we got Dom's Money Melody coming up for a great prize, big two o'clock hour. Are you going to figure out a way to watch halftime on Jack, anybody's, any one of these influencers on X or the Turning Point USA? You heard some of the challenges that corporate America, they got to stop this. If it does well, independent group doing it. That really puts a dent in what has become one of the biggest moments if you're an entertainer. It's to get the Super Bowl. 855, 839, 1210, jump on board. Bill and Hillary Clinton testifying, and we have the odds makers. How many times will they say the Fifth Amendment? Well, they not say anything at all. I'll break it all down for you in a big 2 o'clock hour on Talk Radio 12. 10. Tom Giudano, weekdays, noon till 3, from Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
Dom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. Okay, it is Dom time. Dom's Money Melody and mere minutes for a great prize. Henry cooking up something around all that we've talked about today. 855, 833, 9, 12, 10. So the city of Philadelphia is sending out, they're called ambassadors. Okay, at least they're doing this, a crew of 300, I believe. Well, it started yesterday. to literally chop up ice at crosswalks and streets in residential neighborhoods. These are, you know, relatively tough conditions. I think it was around 8 to 9 inches of snow. But we know the temperatures afterward, even though a little bit of thought yesterday or was it yesterday and today, you know, past the freezing point. But still, I give an F grade to what's going on. Where you are, though, in the suburbs particularly, is there any bright spot where you would say, yeah, they were efficient? They got this done. What's the secret sauce to do this? Philadelphia did not. Most of these blue cities. I mean, New York is a disaster area now. We have people dying that are homeless in the cold. Zohran Mamdani, the collective warmth is not there. He says they have a right to stay in homeless encampments, which is insanity. Washington reeling from this. At least the city is getting the message maybe a little bit late, which is this is still not satisfactory. We realize the elements are difficult, but you have to go out there. And I don't see Shirel Parker. You know, the people have to see you. You have to think this is in all-out efforts. Even if you have to ask for the National Guard or whatever, that's what you do. I don't see that energy in this. Is that unfair? And if you're in the suburbs, haven't traveled in the suburbs that much over the last week or so. But if you have, where would you say they look like they've done a really good job? 855-839-12-10, you get on board. One of the all-time Olympic spirit, and I think one of America's great athletes, I'm not sure how many of these Winter Olympics, Lindsay Vaughn has competed in. It's at least three. I don't know if this is the fourth or not. That's a long time. And downhill skiing, at least when I watch these things. I think you can get up to 70 miles an hour. That does seem to be over the top. I can't believe that that you can be doing that, but it is pretty downhill. 70 miles an hour has a torn ACL, but it's still going to compete. So fifth Olympics, by the way. It's a fifth. Wow. That's even more impressive. And I think that has to be unbelievable to do that. Tour and ACL enabled, you know, I know the movements are different than running exactly. But still, I think this is admirable. It's unbelievable. I would think almost definitively it's her last Olympics. Yeah. And wanting to go out in the way that she would if she were just injured. But again, it brings up to me, and I got another story that intersects with it.
It brings up to me how important female sports are and how we don't want some guy competing against Lindsay Vaughn, who is a guy, whatever he says, whatever his gender is, et cetera, and beating someone that talented, someone who's last through five Olympics and willing to ski on a torn ACL. Yet? If you put some of the better or even mediocre, I don't know that Lindsay Vaughaned her best against men is going to beat them. I'd have to see the times and see it, but I think the odds would be against her because there's all sorts of things that go into this in strength, testosterone, is always one of them. Why in the world are we doing it? Now, the bright light is we just had a case in which both the psychologist or psychiatrist. and the doctor who performed so-called gender affirming care on a minor, a pretty young minor, have lost in court $2 million damages, $2 million. And it was a case where they said no, they just did not fulfill their medical duties here. This individual now wants to retransfer these operations that were done. You can't undo them. They're lifelong. But as soon as I see the Vaughn thing, that's where my mind goes into this. And I don't care. We have Pete Buttigieg surfacing saying that, yeah, this is cut three, Henry. Here's Pete Buttigieg. And I may only play a little bit of the beginning. He prattles on. I guess he's running for president again. that he'd be surprised if this is a top three or even a top 10 voter issue in the midterms. Here's Mayor Pete. You know, I think the president's response would likely be that the Biden era high of inflation was 11%. I brought it down to 2.7%. I have the right solution. There's more work to be done. I imagine is what he would say. I understand you have a different viewpoint. But you did mention some of these issues playing out. And one of them is the issue of biological men in women's sports. And it's a big issue. In fact, it's one that even Kamala Harris's internal data said move the electorate by 2.7 percentage points. So where do you come down on that issue, which will no doubt be asked? in a presidential debate potentially. Well, I think approaching an issue like that, the most important thing is to take everyone seriously, take people across the different sides of this issue seriously, whether you're talking about parents who are wondering what this means for fairness, for their kids competing, or parents who want to make sure that their kids aren't being discriminated against and get a chance to participate. And, you know, this is going to be different in different cases, right? Middle school is not the same thing as the Olympics.
Chess is not the same thing as weightlifting, which is why I think these are decisions that are best not made by politicians. But I also have to tell you, I would be surprised if this is a top three or even a top ten voter issue in the midterms this year. I know that millions and millions of dollars came from Republican campaigns to put this issue front and center. They might feel that temptation again, even though... I think that effort largely fell flat when they tried to change the subject to this from affordability in the elections in late 2025. But to me, at a time when, again, you got energy bills through the roof, the president has failed to do the things he specifically promised to do, like cut energy, cut health care prices or... premiums or cut grocery prices and at a time when we have these shocking events in Minnesota right when you have okay Henry that's enough I've got the core here now let me let me break this down with Pete Hegseth's a little bit better and this is what Josh Shapiro is going to do you notice the word there oh we don't want politicians deciding the retreat to affordability We know they're running on one thing, voter turn. And they're smart to do this. Put up on the marquee. Affordability. Okay? It's a nice cover, but you've seen particularly these women in Minnesota and other, these crazies. They're running on Trump hatred. Trump's on the ballot. Get your turnout going. Put the mask on of affordability. Not to say that's not an issue. But you heard what the reporter said there in the internals in the election of 2024. It moved negatively, 2.7% is a heck of a lot with Kamala Harris. And what this issue does when it comes up organically, it can't be your only thing. He's trying to say that's the only thing Republicans have. It takes people who are not paying attention so much to the day to day. I've said this many times. And when they see it, And they hear that one party like Mayor Pete is trying to think he's slicker than the room here and get away with it. They want to know where do I go to vote to stop it? The bathroom thing and all that, you don't see it as clearly. Think of Lindsey Vaughn, gutting it out. I mean, I like her style. I think she's one of the greats of all time, even though I don't follow the Winter Olympics quite that much. gutting it out with the torn ACL to compete for the last time. This is what women's sports have become. And you're going to let some cockamamie, mediocre at best idiot in there to run around getting medals and triple jumping and all that nonsense. Why? Because they'll feel bad if they can't. So it's their feelings against what turns us on the sports competition that females are doing. This is just a great example. I don't know how many athletes would decide to, she's had all kinds of knee and all, you know, gut it out in this manner. Maybe some would. It's your last chance. But I think it's a shining example of what women's sports have become equally as competitive as males in its own way. It's one of the greatest things that's happened over the last 25 or 30 years. And no Mayor Pete thinking is slick or Josh Shapiro are going to get away with it.
So what they'll do is they'll use this line he used there again and again and again. Well, we don't let politicians decide. Oh, really? We have laws. We do loss for everything. Well, what about fair? And then the second argument he tried there is, well, we've got two sides here. We want fair competition. This is where they go with this. We want fair competition. but we also want people to be able to participate. So why don't we let people at the local level, quote, the experts decide this, hoping that they'll find some of these clowns who don't care as I do about this. No, no, no. This is too important. You're not getting away with it. Kamala Harris didn't get away with it. You won't get away with it. Josh Shapiro's going to try to get away with it. And again, you have the shining example of Lindsay Vaughn competing with a torn ACL. I can't even imagine, even though I know it's not running. You know, this is like Lawrence of Arabia or something. They tie it to a horse. You're going downhill, making your moves. it's still got to be unbelievably painful. When you're going in between the flags during slalom, I mean, that's all you're doing is bending your knees back and forward. Yeah, and it's got to be to compete, aside from the pain, it's got to be a stability thing too. You know, there's just thinking about it that you want to be as stable as you can because that leads to flexibility. With this, it seems like any move in at the moment, you're shot. That's it, you know? You just have to crawl to the finish line. So it's too important. These guys are not going to tell us what's important, what's not. Affordability, we've spoken. But given how bereft they are of any genuine ideas that people are in agreement with, it's smart for them to run on phony affordability, even though they've caused a lot of it. and then ratchet up people to come out and tear these Republicans apart. We can't get a Trump, so we're going to make Jack Ciattarelli Hitler. You know, it's that type of thing. Watch for those cords, though. Josh Shapiro thinks about them all the time. And if you hear him say, folks and y'all thrown in with it, then you know he's really bobbing and weaving. I'd love to debate him on it anytime, any place. First they say fairness. You got to take that into account. Then though, what about the – you heard what he said too, and he's got a whole rift. Well, middle school isn't the Olympics. Hey, buddy, we're not talking about middle school here. You know it and I know it. We're principally talking about high school, college, or maybe even seventh or eighth grade when it really gets competitive. That's what we're talking about. We're not talking about – oh, can't you have a co-ed team in pre-K? Of course we know that. You got to jump in at each point. Don't let it pass and lock them down. And Mayor Pete, you're not that slick. You're not going to be president ever. You're not going to be the nominee as I see it. All right. Dom's Money Melody coming up. Let's let me go to Greg in Georgia here on Talk Radio 1210. All right. So Greg, I see you told Sean, you're expecting 10 million people for the alternate halftime.
I think when I'll sit and listen to you, as soon as you asked how many people, you said a million. Yes. I immediately went to five million and then listening to your guest. Ten millions, I think, is really easy, especially when you have the turning point people, and that's the main group. They've taken off like wildfire, and people are going to be using their phones on it. It's on Twitter, whatever. They're on those other, it's not a regular TV. You're in Georgia, but I got a pizza bet with you. You're willing to say we get $10 million out of this. I'm Philly. You know me. I'm usually in the Northeast. Oh, there's that great north. Yes. Yeah. I'll deliver. I'll meet you up where you want to eat it in Mount Air or Chestnut Hill. I'll hand deliver it to you. But absolutely. I want to get the number. Look, Greg, I can't take that pizza. 10 million. I know we're fired up. You see the means of delivery here. But think about what you're asking people to do. They got to go to this. It's not easy. They can't flip a channel. They've got to get their computer or phone even. Right. Someone, I would, like, I will watch two, but only because I'm in a block pool. When the sports has soured me a little bit, I don't have to watch it. So I will watch the super. I'll be in and out. If it was nicer weather, I'd be playing golf for hitting balls or something. But since it's not... I will watch it because of the block pool end of it. But people are going to be sitting there. They're going to watch both. They're going to want to see even people that are anti-tee the other guy. The people that love bad money are going to be watching it. But then they're going to curiosity is going to peak their interest, and they're going to hit it, and they're going to watch it. I'm hoping that. You've got to remember. You know what can happen with this stuff, too? It can crash. That's what I'm afraid of. Right, because I think it's going to be enormous. I mean, and I don't, you know, I have to say, I don't know anybody other than Kid Rock on that group. I googled them and listened to them, not a big country person, but it's going to do, I think it's going to do surprisingly well. All right. Can I say one more thing before I give you my side? Go ahead. All this craziness and all these people out there, the rioters and the Antifa and all those people. When we should arrest them, right, or at least put them in, and you know what kind of punishment they're going to get? We have to give them a shower with shampoo and a toothbrush. Have you seen these people? That will stop this all the way. They will not be riding anymore if they have to get cleaned up. All right, I got you. The cleanup is 10 million I got you. What's your side? My side is, it was Laverne and Shirley's show. Laverne used to drink mix Pepsi and milk. And I was 10 years old when I came on. I used to come on a day after happy days, 8 o'clock Tuesday nights. So I tried that one time, and I vomited. And from that point on, I could never watch the Laverne and Shirley show. So that's, she sourmed me. She drank a thing called Pilk.
All right. See and milk. Gotcha, Greg, from the Northeast. All right. Yeah, great caller. Ten million. I'm setting it at two here. You know, and we'll have to go through, you know, Monday, we're going to have to go through a whole array of metrics of who knows what and who's claiming what. The NFL will be out there bashing this into the ground through behind the scenes. You know, Goodell will not address it, I'm sure. Uh, will bad bunny say anything? I don't think he's going to say something there. You might say, I can't say anything, which is saying something. Green Day is more likely to say something. Oh, they will. Yeah, they will. Oh, they respect the platform too. Ah, come on. They're going to. Yeah, I would agree with that. Okay. Um, I think we've cleared the decks. It is time for... It's the money melody. Hasola Money gone. That is right. Today we're playing for a $50 gift card to checkers and rallies, hungry, checkers and rallies as you covered with this $5 MVP meal deal. Choose from three crave worthy sandwiches, a savory mushroom Swissburger. cravable spicy chicken or more than a quarter pound cheese double plus a value fry, a small soft drink, and a classic apple pie, all for just five bucks, only at checkers and rallies. All right, Henry. Yeah, so on the side today, we're talking about food faux pas essentially. And simply put, I'm going to bring you a song from a show that's centered around both food. and faith. I want to know the name of the group or the name of the show in which this song hails from. Okay. Wow, really digging this one out of the archives we're looking for again? I mean, this song has been in my head since I was a kid. So when we were talking about food today, I was like, oh, I got to look this up again. So, yeah, I want to know the name of the show or the group singing this song where the show is primarily focused on food and faith. Yes, we're looking for a debacle like John Kerry here in Philadelphia. We had a Hillary call or just the foods, the debacle, a pineapple and a pizza. Hit us with that and you're off with 50 bucks to get a great meal. 855, 839, 1210. This is Talk Radio 1210. WPHT on demand. On demand. It's the money melody. Where has all the money gone. Show me to money. All right, let's hear the clue. Show focused on food and faith. Patty in Westboro. Right, Patty, hi. What's your answer? Is it veggie tails? Wow. All right, nice, Patty. I pulled it out of nowhere. Any more background on that? I mean, they just had great songs like this, you know, throw out all their, you know, straight to video release options. And this one's stuck in my mind. I mean, it's a show about both food and faith. It's a song about food sung by food. It can't get more food than that. Maybe the alternate halftime should be cooking up those burgers and having Pepsi. I didn't ask Jack. I'd love some silly songs with Larry. Didn't ask Jack Posobic if they have a sponsor or anything. So far, we haven't heard that because.
You know, there's a lot of pressure to stop this, not to even have it come on in the way he projected. We don't know about Nikki Minaj. If I had a bet the over and under, I'd say 85, 90% Nikki Minaj makes an appearance and sings sort of something, probably with Kid Rock. I'd go the other way. Oh, you know, 50% is no shot. Okay, I'll take that. I think she definitely wants to do it. I don't know if they want to do it, but she's all in to do something. He said it would be in a studio. Originally, I had read it would be in a stadium. So we'll see. We'll keep you on that as we head towards Sunday. You heard, Greg, that's way out of, a 10 million. How much is turning point? It's a few million people potentially. Then all these influencers. All right. Ten million people keep both on. I think it's doing it on your phone. Yeah, well, it crash. That's always a problem. If it reaches 10 million, that will be very significant, given all the challenges, given what you're up against here. And I don't know what the corporate media, what they'll say about it. Are those numbers that would disturb the NFL or these products and everything around it? Globally, it will do great. That's a number they'll be looking at or trying to sell versus just a domestic audience. Okay, let's go to 855, 833, 9, 12, 10. By the way, the Trump administration is withholding all the money that they can essentially. It's Sean Duffy Transportation Department. It's in Washington at this point, but it seems to me it'll be across the board for both, in one article it says speed cameras, but in the other it says the dreaded red light camera. Can't happen quickly enough. Philadelphia is addicted to this. Jersey, if you remember, had the red light cameras and got rid of them. How many shows have we done? How many times are we going after them on this? That it's ludicrous. Might even cause equal number of accidents, rear-ending people who are saying, nope, I'm not going to try to go through that light stopping suddenly. The Bermuda Triangle of the Boulevard. And these are the very same people who talk about these things, Democrats, progressives, Brendan Boyle in the Northeast, who don't sign off on the people driving around. City Council let this go, driving while black, it's working its way through Commonwealth Court, the idea that cops shouldn't be stopping people. with taillights out, with all kinds of not even license plates or in the wrong place, all that stuff. We'd take a lot of guns. Pat Malloy is an expert on this over in Abington, guns and drugs off the street. Then they drive into Abington. They do get stopped. All this is principally is a money grab. The worst to avoid, don't go around City Hall. or be very, very careful. You can easily get stuck in that red light camera there and you look like you can get through, then suddenly you can't. You're stuck. You're going to get the ticket for it. That's what it's about. So the Trump administration with the federal grant money on this, and I don't know how much that helps them probably a lot, is greatly curtailing this.
And the speed camera is the same thing. All this with the boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia constantly. It is more of a money grab than a safety thing. And I would debate the safety. How many years have we fought this? They keep on adding them the latest around the art museum in Philadelphia now. I don't know if it's like 25 or so that they have up. It's in that ballpark. They'll put 100 up ultimately. How about this? Better at figuring out how to clear the streets. Now, in fairness, I'm going to be interested to see since yesterday what these 300 ambassadors do, chopping up ice, et cetera. And I would say this storm had difficult elements to it. It wasn't just a minor thing. And we've had really cold temperatures. But my God, you just throw up your hands. I forget even how many days we've gone through this. Double figures, I think, now, right? Or is it nine? Is it nine or is it ten, give or tape around there? So we'll see if we have a little bit of snow tonight, which I hope not. You know, really more of this after we've established everything, getting in and out. Okay, coming to your calls next. Side question today, it's not just food combinations. It's anything associated with food coming off the TV dinner. as a debacle. And we had the Hillary one with the Hot Pocket stuff, she said once or the hot sauce. We had the John Kerry one. We put up on YouTube. It was spectacularly a fail that identified who he really was, the effete, French-looking John Kerry. And when that happens, it happened to Dan Quayle, a dope. I mean, what kind of dope tells the seventh-grade kid in Trenton? I whispered to him. You see him on camera. I think you spelled that wrong. Don't you want to put an E up there on potato? And the dopey superintendent said that was the old English spelling of potato. This was, yes, she did. Anything to save face, I guess. Venable. Well, I think she really believed she was there. The whole school district was, I think her name was Venable. And it's one thing if the kid misspelled it. You know, or you think you miss, okay, and you let it go or whatever you did. But Quail tells him to put an added E on there. Suppose a kid had said, no, no. There's no E on there, buddy. All time. On potato. And that was the, I remember when Quail was nominated, I was just starting to fill in on WWDB. And oh my God, it was on a Sunday afternoon around the time of the convention. because the Vietnam War, did he go in the National Guard? He was in Muncie, Indiana. But then the dumbness came up, deer in the headlights. And it was nuts. It was unrelenting. So I'm equal on this. It's not just quail. It's other people that get exposed in this stuff. If it goes on long enough. All right, get in. We want to get a winner today. Let's get a really good one on this whole Swanson TV dinner thing. 855-839-1210. Thanks for listening to Talk Radio 1210. WPST on demand. All right, time to your Danos show. Welcome in noticing on Twitter over the last few hours once it's been locked in that we have.
At least for now, the people are going to perform at the alternate halftime show. The diminishing of Kid Rock is well underway as the headliner. We'll see how that plays out. I would say it doesn't matter. It's more the feasibility of the Army of Turning Point USA and these influencers, maybe even leaving on Bad Bunny, but putting this on too to see what the number is. And that's where the battle will be on Sunday. All right, the Earl of Taconi on Talk Radio 1210. Hello, Earl. Hey, Dom. Yeah, I already discussed the history of TV dinners. I don't know if I'm going to rehash that story or not. No, it's okay. I think that's all right. We got it. Sure. You mentioned the other day about how they're comparing Donald Trump, the Francisco Franco, which I find rather ironic when you consider what happened last week when Don Lemon in that group went and stormed in that church and were harassing the members of the church in there. If anybody knows their history regarding the Spanish Civil War, what the communists used to do, besides burning down the churches, is in order to embarrass and humiliate the church, they would actually dig up the corpses of priest and nuns, and put them on the sides of the street so that people could spit at them and humiliate the corpses. All right. Yeah, well, I'm... The Franco-Knowich doesn't have to be that extensive. I hear what you're saying, yeah. And I have to disagree with you. I do love myself a nice cheese steak, hoagie. I mean, it is a Philadelphia whopper after all. Okay. All right, what's your side, Earl? My side dates back to the year 2000 when Heinz ketchup decided, you know what, we're not selling enough ketchup. What can we do in order to get children to buy more ketchup? And they came up with the concept of easy squirt, which probably gave Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. an aneurysm. It involved putting large amounts of food coloring in ketchup. in order to make it green and purple and pink and orange and teal, because teal is a real appetizing color to have on your french fries. They even tied it in with the movie Shrek to sell the green ketchup. It lasted for about six years until the novelty wore off and sales dropped precipitously, and they decided, okay, we're not going to sell this anymore because people have realized, you know, pink ketchup is, you're really disgusting. Thank you, Earl. Yeah, the squeeze bottle, too. Seinfeld the other night, they had that were George. And I forget who Seinfeld was giving him details involved with the woman and the squeeze of the ketchup inadvertently across the table. It's pretty... Funny scene. I love the green and the purple ketchup myself. Okay. As a young child before they'd, I couldn't understand why we couldn't get at the store anymore. And it was partially because it was discontinued and partially because my parents were like, we're not buying that crap anymore. Yeah, ketchup is Rosevo as a debacle here. The sugar content alone. Oh, yeah. I love good ketchup. I mean, I'm not putting on steak or a lot of other things like some people do. I just think mustard superior, but in that battle, I guess, I don't know which one sells more.
Might be hard to figure that up. Mustard's more limited. Yeah, it is. It is. Mike and Hamilton, Mike on Talk Radio 1210. Hello, Mike. Hello, and happy New Year and happy Groundhog Day. Well, thank you, Mike. And now I got to give him my bona fides first real quick. I live now in central Jersey. But I was born in Philadelphia. I grew up in South Jersey, and a large part of my own life, I worked as a flooring installer in Philadelphia. Okay. I had my share of cheese steaks. And when they would make a cheese steak, they'd make the meat as about done. You lay on a few squares of a nice... Good quality American cheese. Not cheese whiz. Whiz is an abomination. I hear you at Joey Ventos. I remember the device they had, they put it in there, and it chipped. It actually looked like paint chips when you're pouring it in. Oh, yeah. Yeah, well, the top of it, yeah. It was a device where they were able to squirt it out, yeah, along the cheese. Yeah, it's brutal. I do like cheese whizz on a cheese steak, though. It's not my preferred option. You know, I like a Cooper Sharp or even an American, but like I do like the occasional cheese whiz. I'd see it when it's in the back. We know, you know, because of it with Vento, if you were staying around, you had to work. He only had one booth there. It was only small inside the place where you sat down. It could be dignitaries, and he had them up there putting cheese whiz and all. Yeah. Didn't matter. All right. And he got fined once when the city was after him for wearing too much jewelry. True story. Okay. 855-839-12-10. That's how you get on board. So the red light cameras, we got 10 million bet from Greg. That is a healthy number. 10 million of anybody not watching the Super Bowl or watching a rival is a huge, huge number. So, you know, in a game that doesn't have necessarily huge national appeal, I don't know, the storyline here on either one of these places that people are going to get nuts about, people will be watching to see what happens at halftime. A bad bunny could draw more simply in the beginning to see what he does. And I think that the opening act is going to be more anti-Trump. You're going to see more of it. Will ICE be there in San Francisco? They say they will be. They will be making arrests, et cetera. We'll see. I think Tom Homan doesn't want another incident around. Which white people? Like, what is that? Well, there's all kinds of elements of people that'll be looking for in and around the Super Bowl. They'll do.
anybody they're targeting, there's a potential around that. That's what they're going to do. I don't know. I don't think they can have much success. Okay. We'll see. I think that's there. But I think they will be not as public. It'll be more targeted around this, given what's happened already. All right. So 855, 839, 12, 10. You jump on board. Hit us on the side. Everything else in play. 855839, 1210. This is Talk Radio 1210. WPHT. On Demand. On demand. The time has come for the final test. We usually call us the lightning round. All right, it is the Domjir Dano show. One quick note. Oh, Matt Rooney and Ed the Trucker hosting today. I didn't know that. I thought, okay, Ed the Trucker, hosting with Matt Rooney today. I see that Matt put up on his Twitter that I'm sure they're going to talk about this, John Bramnik, who is not even a rhino. I mean, you know, even for a Jersey rhino Republican, he is signing off. to join this bill prohibiting law enforcement officers for wearing masks, think ice, etc. We know the reason why we've been through this a million times. Look, there are enough Mikey Sheryls. There are enough people in Jersey that are... wrecking the state and will continue to do this. Republicans have one mission to do the best they can, to fight them now, and to recruit people and continue to incrementally do something that limits the damage. When you have a guy signing off on this, that's a Republican, and I think one of the principal Chris Christie people, Christy to the rescue, I wonder if Governor Chris Christie, he might. Who knows? I wonder if the governor who is as thing-skinned as anybody ever as a public figure, he knows it and I know it after that way back when to the Obama shootout I have with him. We know that. I wonder if Governor Chris Christie thinks that law enforcement should, in this case ICE were dealing with. Shouldn't be able to mask. Okay? All right. Phone lines are 855, 839, 1210, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless. All you have to do is push pound 1210. Hit us with something that is a food debacleable. Think of the person. Think of the Hillary call we had. I cited John Kerry. The TV dinner invented 1954 on last Sunday. Dan and Richborough Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Dan. Hey, Dom, thank you for taking my call. You're welcome. I don't know how to even combat Greg's call, but I can say, if I saw you swallow that raw oyster, I would have vomited. I don't know how anybody can open an oyster, look at that and go, wow, I think I just blew that out of my nose. Let me eat that now. Yeah, I would agree with you. It was, and there's a dispute. We have the tape, though. Some nibbling of it did go down my golet.
But the Rockefeller oysters were equally not as appetizing. I pretended, but not that good. God. Yeah. They're so good. That's a good one. I really come around on oysters. I mean, that could be awesome. Thank you, Dan, for remembering that incident. Matt Rooney was scarfing him down next to me there. So, Jerry in Wilmington. Jerry, what's yours today? I haven't had a clam since I was seven years old. My dad gave me one at the Berlin Farmer's Market. I haven't had one since. It didn't make it down. Okay. Anyway, my debacle, a huge debacle, nothing bigger than Cracker Barrel. They changed their menu. They changed the inside of the stores. That's a good one. They lost their stock, 30% of their stock. They had to go back and apologize everything. President Trump told them to go back. Yeah, that's a good one. They didn't suffer fatality like Bud Light did. And we said, I got to check because they made to move back pretty quickly. That's a good one. Bill in bucks. Bill, what's yours? Well, happy new year again there, Dom. Mine is a special faux pa that was made by Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election. He went to a wah-wah, and he was bewildered by the touchscreen ordering process. He also called it Wawa's. He called the individual Wawa, a Wawa. Yes. Yes. It was out near Hershey PA somewhere. I think it was Cornwall. There was one here closer to. He did one here too. And it was just, and again, whatever Trump's flaws are, Trump never would have looked as out of fish out of water as Mitt Romney did. It was a tell. It was like potato with quail. Here's this rich guy. Wawa's he kept on. Oh, man, look at this in Wawas. I just ordered this. I don't know if the touchscreen was around 10 or 12 years or 15 by that. Something like that. And the Wawa's thing. Oh, go to sheet, Mitt Romney. Come on. That's what you should have done. There was no defense from that. It was the handlers. Who are the handlers of these people? All right, Zenos taps everything off on Talk Radio 12. All right, Zinos. What do you have? Happy groundhogs day, Dom. Thank you. What I have is, when we were younger, we used to go to Florida driving down there. We were in North Carolina, and we stopped at this store, you know, to get something to drink, Pepsi. And when we got in there, there was people that would drink half the Pepsi and pour the peanuts, planters peanuts in there and drink it with the Pepsi. And you know what, Tom, we tried, you know, young guys, 18, 19, 20 years old, and it wasn't that bad. It wasn't that bad. All right, peanuts in the Pepsi. Thank you, Zina. Sorry, I think we're looking for something that was a debacle, but okay, he's always interesting. Okay, Sean, you're fielding all these, is one that stuck out for you.
The Pepsi milk seemed to really just, ooh, because it's instant spoiled milk plus Pepsi. Yeah. Anybody, though, where a person was involved with the debacle? Any of those contenders? Because I like the Mitt Romney one at the end. What person was involved in that, right? It was Laverne and Shirley, right? Yeah. Yeah, fictional, but okay. But, yeah, I guess the Mitt Romney one for a person. Yeah, if you were seen it, you would have gone, oh, my God. You know, didn't anybody brief this guy? All right, Henry, how about yours? I like the Pilk. I like the Cracker Bear answer. And I like the raw oyster answer and nice callback. But the one I like the most Lance in South Korea with the Hillary Clinton hot sauce. I mean, yeah. What a phony. Yeah, that was, yes. And that involved both a person being unauthentic. and using something constantly and nobody telling. Yeah, I got to go with Lance on that one. All right, we put Lance into the hat. We got one already for tomorrow. We think it's Heart Month red. Something red. Be thinking about that and might make its way onto the front page tomorrow. He's one of the architect's halftime show. Ten million is the figure that's been set, the over and under, way too high. I'll be shocked. If that happens on Monday after Super Bowl, wow, that is a big number. That's hard to do. given all the forces that are against you.
