Kennedy Jr.. working out. He does look pretty good. Well, working out in jeans. I do not do that. It's just a running in jeans. Winter time. You know, I'll be coming to the mid-March. I go to shorts. Maybe November is when I go back to jeans. What's a big deal? But Robert F. Kennedy Jr.., working out with Kid Rock, shirtless, another faux pop. And then he jumps into a cold plunge in jeans while drinking whole milk. Yes. What a combo. What? We're ready here. We're ready with that. And I'm seeing people on Twitter say, I need some gym expertise. I've never seen this. Again, Emory, you'll never see pictures of me lifting weights and jeans. I don't do it. Just so you know, just so you put that down with Dan in there. At least that's one thing. There we go. Yes, at least one. But on Twitter, they're saying, you know a guy's really serious. That's why he's jacked up. If you work out in jeans in a gym, that's a sign you're really serious. I never heard that. I can't believe that even a little bit. All right. I mean, I think I could. I mean, it's like someone who's coming straight from work because I'm not getting changed. I'm getting my pumping and I'm leaving. I know. Okay. I haven't seen it in the gym I go to. Neither have I. Not too many hardos like that. Okay. So we'll be here until 430. Great guest. And his freedom is back. And he's going to talk about the Chinese. figures get Chinese American but let me write I got to write myself a note here note to self what you know sometimes Henry this happens you go all out and he's on today and of course he was an NBA I would say semi star I know you guys my son and you all he couldn't guard anybody come on now the guy played in the NBA I think he average close to 18 points a game for four or five years and 10 rebounds at one point come on don't dismiss him How would you play in the NBA if you were afraid the Turks were going to grab you at halftime and take it back to Turkey? You know, it might be pretty difficult. But Mark Cuban showing once again how un-American he is. Have you seen this, Henry? I know your sports. You haven't seen it. No. Oh, Mark Cuban saying the NBA should encourage tanking socialism already here. Oh, I did see that. Make the game experience more memorable. but encourage tanking because fans really don't care about their team winning and losing. Okay. Now, basketball is usually the one where this happens the most, I guess a little bit with hockey. He bought up, and I know it's the infrastructure too, but how is it, you don't see the NFL with much tanking. I think they get the message, hey, you don't want to be doing that, overtly.

You know, I'm taking Henry McMaster in. Yeah, what college did he throw for? Well, you know, it's in Pennsylvania somewhere. He's quarterbacking today. Dom Giordano's his backup. Okay. Let's play. You know, you could just satirize it. Put anybody out there. Why not? So Mark Cuban, though, come on. Saying we ought to be encouraging tanking, but just people don't care about the competition. They're there just for memories. I'm sure some people are casual fans. But most people go to the game. They like the competition of it. Even last year's Sixers games. I mean, you know, they don't want to be told it's blatant tanking. We're just going to lose tonight. Race to the bottom. Okay, we'll get to that. I tend to disagree with you a little. Okay, all right. Because there's no point of being like, say, the Flyers and being a middle of the pack, no nothing, not contending for the playoffs, not contending for a championship every year. There's no point in that. It's either bottom out, do a rebuild and do it right, or don't do anything. So you're saying people will go to the games to see what then? They won't. Oh, okay. I think he's mistaken that people would just want to go watch crap. Right, yeah. That's what I'm taught. Also, we have baseball doing something I really don't like. Two things. We'll get to it in detail. One, you're not going to be able to tell a ball and strike in the box on TV. The box may not even be there. Why? Because these geniuses are putting in Big Brother umpire electronically. Why are we going down this path? You know, I believe almost is fighting for human beings versus technology. Roe will tell you, I sat there when Watson was on Jeopardy. Even though I don't like Ken Jennings, I'd root for Ken Jennings, screaming at the computer, blow up, say something crazy. Get penalized. Get thrown out of the game. Why in the world are we taking away one of the things, the home plate umpire, their strike zone, I think is a charm of baseball. Why are we doing that? Oh, because we want technology. We want to be accurate here. Okay, we'll see about this. But they're not going to show the box. I'm for that. I hate the box on the screen. I think it's stupid. Oh, okay. I don't think it's an accurate strike zone either. Well, it might not be, but the thing of it is, taking this away because they want to put in the home plate umpire and would be embarrassing, seems to be the rationale. Okay. They're already embarrassing, too. Like, we can tell, like, that's the thing with the automatic balls and strike system is that it's placating for the fans that get mad at, like, the five or, you know, the handful or so umpires that should not be MLB umpires that cannot call a strike to save their lives. And, but the rest are fine, you know, they're pretty much, you know, over 95% accurate. It's just for the loser umpires that can't seem to. Right. Well, I think it's all about adjustments. It's part of being a player to adjusting to the umpire and their bias of one way or another. Like in basketball. They shouldn't be calling it with bias. Well, I'm not saying you're playing basketball. You better than I might be flopping. I'm not calling a charge. You really got a charge. That's a completely different sport now we're talking about. A strike zone. A strike zone.

Well, each person has their interpretation in a flash within inches of it. Well, sure, within inches, but I think we're more talking about when there's, you know, one eight inches outside. And you look at it. I'm like, what are you talking about, though, are you going to give that pitch or not consistently? Okay. I don't even know it's so juicy today, which one to start with. I will get to Cheryl Parker, but I want to throw the Wawa thing in here at the top. Mikie Sherrill Parker, well, let's play Shirel Parker, then I'll play the full thing. And I'll give you a quick analysis of this, what happened yesterday and big picture on this. So this woman from NBC10 has been birddoging Mikie Sherrill Parker to get her to say, Sanctuary City. You must say sanctuary city. Now, some people call Shirel Parker a clown in this. I don't think Mikie Sherrill Parker's a clown. Now, some of you sent me stuff and said, how come she doesn't come on your show anymore? Yeah, I'm mad at that. We went all out. We had a partnership because she was the best Democrat. What are you going to do? And I'd welcome her back. I'd be one of the few people in the city can talk with her. So the snow removal was not good. It was a tough snowstorm, but still wasn't good. Nope, not at all. And the aftermath, they really didn't do that well. But the, you know, misspelling Eagles was kind of endearing. She plays with that now. Yesterday, she's asked, what is this sanctuary city? In other words, is Philadelphia's sanctuary city? Now, I kind of admire people on the left who say, oh, yeah, we're a sanctuary city. A lot of these lefties, like this James Talarico guy caught up in the Stephen Colbert thing, waiting until you hear some of the things he says about the Bible. The guy who claimed, as CBS tried to keep him off, we're so afraid he's such a powerful messenger. If America only hears him talking about Democrats and the Bible, Republicans will have no chance. Yeah, that's right. All right. So here is Shirel answering that, not particularly well, but I'm going to tell you what she's trying to do and how this plays out with Trump. And the rumor out there that you will not believe about Trump, America celebrates 250 and ice. Oh, yeah, it's going around Philadelphia. First, here's the back and forth with the mayor. What does the term sanctuary city mean to you, Mayor? What I want to tell you about Philadelphia, and this is extremely important. that you, Claudia Vargas, have been provided an answer to the question that you just asked from our city solicitor. Philadelphia, that means the chief lawyer for the city of Philadelphia. Renee Garcia is our city solicitor. And what we are, the term we use to describe our city, is that we are a welcoming city here. All right, we are welcoming. There's more. There's more gone back and forth. Okay. And she wasn't going to parse that at all. Now, here are a couple things. A, her instincts, she's a liberal. She's not a progressive. She's not Larry Krasner. She's not the mob. She won against a woman who's to the left of Larry Krasner, Helen Gim. Helen, if you're in the area, Dom says hello. I say hello to your election team too. Whose bags were packed? I think yours were, not mine.

So she's got that in mind. She's got Trump in mind. And she's trying to continue with this euphemism that they're using. Several cities. Montgomery County, too, we're a welcoming county. We're not going to say sanctuary city. Money's involved. Here's a couple of things. I think Krasner is being fed day and night. You got to run. You will smoke her. You will take her out here. And I think this insufferable little man agrees with that. If Trump comes to Philadelphia, now I'm going to tell you something that's a rumor. I don't share, but it's gone nuts in Philadelphia. If Trump comes to Philadelphia, could be on the list, that plays right into Krasner, because I don't think Mikie Sherrill Parker's going to go wild over that. She'll try to mitigate it. Larry Krasner, morning, noon, and night. He might even arrest somebody in a show sort of thing. He can. All right. So she's got Krasner in mind here running against her. The other thing is, the rumor is, I've heard two versions. Second one's worse. Trump is not coming to Philadelphia because we're celebrating the 250th anniversary of the country. And Trump thinks that would look bad having ice coming to these big events, Major League Baseball. What's that? Is that ice on second base? Yeah, you know, that kind of thing. The worst rumor is, oh, no, Trump is not coming to Philadelphia yet because he wants to disrupt America's 250th birthday. Oh, yeah, the insiders are whispering that now. Can you imagine? Trump calculating, yeah, let's disrupt Major League Baseball's All-Star game. Let's disrupt World Cup soccer. Let's put some idea of Trump. Yeah, let's put some excitement in. It's zero's a nil-nil. Let's do something exciting here. There'll be a lot of people to deport there. Well, true. All right. So that's what's going on here. We play you a little bit more of that. But I don't see her as a clown. You can differ. Coming up, we got a great side question. We're going to continue it today, though, to the final gong at 430. So it's got to be worthy of a lot of possibilities. So today we commemorate the raising of the flag, the American flag on Iwo Jima, which arguably was the bloodiest per capita of the entire war. And that rallied Americans apparently. Now, there's revisionist history. This was all scripted. I think there was some degree of spontaneity with this. But Americans rallied to see that flag go up, the way they pushed it up, the way it was on the top of that hill after they followed the cost in lives. So we're looking for someone, something, real, fiction, or film, real life that is associated with victory. that you know there's a victory involved. Now, think of all the opportunities with that. So I'm going to take off the Gatorade Bath is something that is pretty much no other thing that a victory has been insured. Back in the day, it was Red Arbac, the victory cigar. Guess you can't do that today. Imagine on the bench. They do that.

Do they do it? Oh, yeah. In the locker room, yeah. No, on the bench, on the bench. On the bench, yeah, I don't think they do a lot of smoking arena. Back in the day, coaches are, you know, smoking on the bench. I did a side topic once of where did you see smoking, you can't believe it. In Mad Men, they have the doctor with the woman in the stirrups being examined, and he ashes precariously coming down. He's got a cigarette as he's examining. So smoking on the bench, a guy chain smoker, the whole game, there's butts there on the floor. Red R. Back to Victory cigar. I'm also going to take off the word relief. When I think of the win, I would celebrate, but I also feel relief. That we did it, those final seconds. Yeah. Something. And one that's fictional. I'm going to take Hoosiers off, although the victory celebration itself. is not the most overwhelming ever. I'd agree with that. The precursor of Jimmy's going to take the shot kind of folds into it for me that we know what's going to happen. How about yours? Yeah, so I'll take a few off to get the ball rolling here. How about someone I associate with winning or championships or what have you? Genghis Khan. Yeah, true. Famously, never lost a battle. It was known for his instincts, his tactics, his discipline, and psychological warfare. He did whatever it took in order to ensure victory in battle. Apparently, they traveled at night and one guy was awake and the horses were tied. The other thousands were tied. They were sleeping on a horse. You hear that. It's like, oh, man. Can we have to face Genghis Khan? Oh, no, come on. anything to win. Some other things I'll take off. How about something more local? How about the greasing and then the subsequent climbing of lampposts and light poles all across the city? I mean, you got to get the best view when you're up there, right? You got to see all the festivities taking place, whether it's at the parade or the night of when they win. I mean, you got to get up there. How about a fictional one? How about in the Shawshank Redemption? when Andy Dufrein crawls through the sewage system, out of the prison, and then gets up, stands in the rain, and puts his hands up, like, finally, finally, I've made it, I've escaped. I mean, that moment of euphoria that, like, I did it, I did it, and then I'm going to take off the song you hear running under me right now. Queens, we are the champions. All right, that's quite a lot. Now, there's a million of them out there, but you've got to strike quick. Kirk Victory. Okay, so mine would be George Washington, who led the American Army to victory over the British in the Revolutionary War. Okay, doke. That's a pretty big victory and unlikely victory. The Yorktown scene, when they have them boxing, Cornwallis is not even wearing his wig. It's that desperate. Where's my wig?

That's a pretty bizarre take. Claims that Wawa is on the decline. His evidence? Sheets is putting Wawa's into putting at their stores near Wawa in our area. It's substandard sheets. That's my view. And also, he says Wawa couldn't deal with Center City, Philadelphia. That shows they're in decline. How do you take it if you give this city of Philadelphia all this money and you have these ingrates running around saying Wawa is in decline? Is it? I know they're, you know, I can't, their business model, take Wawa to the, I think it's more of a niche, not niche, niche product, but okay, I don't notice it. Maybe I don't use it enough. But they're bristling at the inquire guy, David Pearson, saying, yeah, they couldn't even handle their business in Center City. I want to see his sheets in Center City, buddy, right down there at 12th Market with the homeless and all coming in. Oh, yeah, let's put his sheets there. Maybe you should run a Wawa, see what it was like. I remember even 15 years ago, Henry, they were locking up various items behind the counter, stuff that you couldn't believe that were garden variety because they just would be stolen. They have to deal with it. And we know the Krasner made national news. You can shoplift as long as it stays under a particular value. Even then, he wasn't going to do anything. How could you stay in business? I don't get how Wawa is a patsy here, though. They fund all this stuff in Philadelphia and constantly they have to deal with this nonsense. I think they're extremely well-run, clean. I've seen them power washing in the morning, most of the stores, I believe as far as I know. So how in the world does Wawa fail? It shows her a failing business because they didn't stay in Center City. And I got guys complaining on Twitter. It's the rolls, Dom. Come on now. The rolls are deficient. Oh, my God. Come on. I haven't noticed it. The ones I go to, well, there's one amount of area. Haven't been in there in a while. It's pretty crowd. Oh, the pizza. I got to say going in guys with the pizza thing. That's it. Give up the pizza. Stop the pizza. You shouldn't be in the pizza, Wawa. It's my advice. I agree. The pizza sales are. They're gross. I have. I have. Not a fan. Did we know how much they bring in in pizza sales a year? That's what I want to know. Well, has even been a year. They've done it. Yeah, if you put it up, I bet somebody has taken a look. All right? And if the business has bouncers there or something that protect themselves, then they'll be in trouble. How can you do a business in Center City? I mean, look at the, remember the Macy's thing? This guy comes in, just stabs a guy working three jobs there that providing security. That's what it is. And yet, we want to put that out there publicly and his name is on it. Inquire, columnist, the whole thing. Blah, decline. Let's get it around. Ingrates, ingratitude here. You can't convict her of treason, but my God, I just don't see how this is allowed. Maybe you can't have American citizenship. I mean, again, it shows you how untenable this position is, and she didn't calmly take this woman apart yesterday, but I would agree with you when I look around at Zohran Mamdani. Everybody else is fighting for second place to be among the worst. What's your side today, Bob? For the side. When someone wins a NASCAR race, they do donuts in front of the grandstand. That's a good one. Thank you, Bob. Yeah, that's a way of looking at it. Let's compare. All right, so the mayor of Boston is constantly saying everybody illegal ought to come to Boston. Whoever the mayor of Baltimore is. Oh, that's a guy with a $165,000 tricked out car that he's driving around it.

that was in the news saying it's racism to bring that up. Zohran Mamdani in the news now wanting to tax get rainy day fun, a billion dollars is here. Let's spend it. Chicago's mayor is as communist as Zohran Mamdani and not even, he gives you nothing. He's boring anacami. Come on, give us something. I don't understand how people in Chicago get elected. Those people always look like the biggest dolts imaginable. Well, true, but Karen Bass allowed a whole town to burn down. She wouldn't even come back from Ghana. So I would say Karen Bass is not exactly covered in LA. Let's see, the mayor of Minneapolis, the soy boy fry. Yeah, I think Mikie Sherrill Parker's got that guy beaten. What other big city am I leaving out here? Houston, I don't know. Although the mayor of Seattle, who is somebody who never worked until she was 49 and got this job, the mom paid for child care and all. She's definitely a communist. Cheryl Parker is looking pretty good. Oh, she does. Absolutely. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Now, she did have the orange glasses on you. Orange is her thing. She always wears something orange. The glasses wear a little bit much. But I like how she called out Vargas. She didn't just say, did a reporter, here's my answer. She said, Olivia Bargis. Claudia. Claudia Bargis. You know you've gotten the answer here and then identifying on a tirade identifying the city solicitor on this. Let's get into and Tower Rico's into this too. But the mayor yesterday, Philadelphia is a sanctuary city. She doesn't want to say it because the Trump administration will jump on it. It'll become more official. I told you what it will trigger. But this idea of the left and language, I'm going to give you coming up what I think is the worst they've done over the last eight to ten years. And this James Talarico guy, I knew he was into spinning the Bible. That's why they really like him. The guy running for the Senate, Stephen Colbert, that whole thing. It's more than that. He's going to become pretty soon a Presbyterian minister. Oh, man. If you're a Presbyterian, does your church say, hey, you can kill anybody up to, I'm not sure what age. It's not in the Bible. You can abort. Anytime you want, not in the Bible. Gay marriage, nothing about it in the Bible. This is the game this guy plays. And his version of the Bible, the progressive version is, God says tax and spend. That equals love. Isn't that what progressives say, you're cruel if you don't want to tax immorally, I might add, and spend, and also.

Now, this is when Democrats like Hillary and Bill Clinton controlled 90% or more of the media. Remember that? It's a vast right-wing conspiracy out there. And then the cigar thing, would that have any significance to you, Henry, from Chelsea, the cigar? No. Okay? How about you, Kirk? Agreed, no. Okay. Well, think Bill Clinton, think Monica Lewinsky. And think of where that cigar was in the Oval Office. Oh. Yes. So maybe somebody should tell Chelsea when you tweet, maybe you want to stay away from cigar mentions. All right, so close but no cigar. And I had on the woman, it's a true story of doing morning drive at DB. I had on Lucian Goldberg, who was the friend of Monica Lewinsky and urged her to keep the blue dress. And the co-hosts didn't like that, really, the newsperson, blurted something, and she hung up. You know how hard it was to get that interview? Oh, my God. At the height of this. By the way, coming up, speaking of analogies, I don't think I'd ever use, but a lot of people on Twitter are using the analogy of having to put up with Brian Fitzpatrick because we need the house of the battered spouse or the abused spouse having to put up with something. That's too serious to use that one. But I'm looking for a good analogy of what it is to put up with Brian Fitzpatrick. I'll tell you his latest play around ICE. Remember the other day? Nope. That's my only thing. It's not good. Yeah, I mean, I saw somebody make him one once, and I was appalled. It was like I was witnessing. An inhumane actor or something. I'm out of here. I am a pizza. Pizza is my favorite food. I probably eat it three or four times a week, so I love pizza. And even that was below my standard, so they should take it off the record. But Wawa is not in decline. I think it's the opposite. I think it's actually since...

We had the Chilin Chicken Place, Chick-fil-A, being so nice to people. It made every fast food restaurant and every little convenient restaurant faster. Wawa's always been nice, but they're extra nice. It's not in decline, and it's actually more neighborhood-friendly, I think. And I go to a lot of them up and down the East Coast from Pennsylvania all the way down to Florida, so yes. Well, that's good to hear. That's my feeling. And can you imagine in the inquire saying, well, they couldn't handle Center City. That shows they're in decline. My God. He's just a liberal jack wagon probably. That's all. Somebody might have said something. He heard something in Wawa, got his feelings hurt, and now he's taking it to the paper. You know what I mean? Taking it to print. I don't know. But it's my experience. No, it's not. Good. Good. What's your side, Greg? My side question is, and it's like a story, it's the USA hockey team Olympians winning the gold medal, but it's even better that when I hear Al Mike, I think it was Al Michael saying, do you believe in miracles? That to me is... is championed that that is the saying of all things gotcha that is uh yeah very very remembered uh win i have to admit that's not one that i get i put it up there because i get all it's just i don't know why there's not a connectivity with me with that one. That's crazy to me, considering we beat the professional Soviets. Well, that's true. I'm still smarting from the basketball loss and what I would have done if I were on the bench. The NEA, National Education Association, the biggie of the Teachers Union, tweeting out their support for this and even more than their support, kind of fundraising off it, if you can imagine, the walkouts. We've had a couple now where kids have been hit by cars, and we have one scene. where this guy, they throw a water bottle at him, hit him while he's driving. He gets out. Blood is all underneath his entire nose and face, the blood dripping, and he whams, almost jumping in the air punching. It's like a scene out of a Fellini, Tarantino film or something that's being filmed. When you see this guy's face and he's just walking around, he doesn't know where he is, we'll play some of that too. But I'll give you Fitzpatrick coming up in your calls. On Talk Radio 1210. We'll be talking with Corey DeAngelis, the ultimate really in challenging the teachers' unions, these walkouts, Randy Weingarten routine that he goes after him at 1 o'clock. I'm going to ask him, I think it is, but I'm open to hear this debate. People bristling on Twitter, there's a school walkout in Maryland, I think in the Baltimore area. And people are posting libs on TikTok. The math scores only 2% are proficient, and only 39% are proficient in reading. And yet they can be doing this in walking out. I think it's a fair point to kind of say that maybe what's going on in the school should be redirected more toward this. And again, if they're walking out, well, what are you saying? They're 99 percentile and all. Okay. Well, at least that part seems to be covered. But this is an ongoing battle. Now. Brian Fitzpatrick issues a press statement. Today, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick's office received assurances from the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs, ICE. They have no plans or intentions of opening an ICE detention facility within Pennsylvania's first congressional district. Quote, after hearing from concerned citizens, our office immediately contacted U.S. Immigrations and Customs, we have received assurances, no such facilities plan for PA1, said Fitzpatrick. When questions arise that impact our community, we address them directly, establish the facts, and ensure our community has clear and accurate information.

Fitzpatrick added that his office will continue to monitor federal developments affecting PA1 and will provide timely accurate updates. He reaffirmed his consistent position that no ICE detention facility should be located in PA1. And if one were ever considered, he would oppose those efforts. If he'd come on, this is a stack of some more of my questions. Why? Now, we hear one in Reading. I mean, isn't this the whole thing of due process? In other words, ICE not deporting people willy-nilly. They have to be held somewhere until they get their day in court, right? What would you do with them? They're not all going to be in jail. So I think what you're saying is, well, you wouldn't hold them. You would tell them to show up for their deportation hearing. knowing they're not, and we would continue to go down this rabbit hole. So here, nothing is even happening in his district, and Fitzpatrick is out there telling people to make sure we're not going to have anything like that here. Question is why. What is the objection to that, given the real thing, what would we do with all these people that? Where would they go? Well, I think he would say if he were on here. they would show up for their deportation hearing. No, they wouldn't. Now, I think it should be done in a timely manner. We shouldn't have people there forever, get more immigration judges do whatever. But isn't that what they're doing with it until they have it up and down the line and they deport? Not much to rant about today, but I really enjoyed this question. My answer for the side question today is going to be the head laurels. Now, I know I'm treading on Joe from Exchin and Zeno's territory here, but they were used early on to signify victory and triumph. They were the original medals for the Olympic athletes. Roman Caesars wore them whenever they secured a triumph. And it led to the expression, resting on one's laurels, you know, relying on past achievements instead of striving for new successes. But even today, the Oscar statuette. has a head laurel on him, signifying. I didn't know that. It has ties going from the beginning of civilization even today, and I'll leave it at that. You might say to yourself, hey, should we really be doing a what do they put outside on the signage other than the misspelling? Zero students this year passed. But we're sending them out anyhow. Zero proficient. It's like the opposite of a blue ribbon. Yeah. What does it take to close a school? Five years of zero percent, well, then they'll cheat. You can't trust them. We don't want them cheating. I think they are cheating, and they still can't cheat enough. All right, and we hope to speak to Ennis Freedom, and we're going to speak with Gerald Posner about now another school in New York's hospital, big-time hospital, has just announced the last 24 hours. They will no longer do the gender affirming care. How about Children's Hospital of Philadelphia? They're saying, hell no. We're going to continue to do it. We're different. No, you're not. So a lot brewing on every front. I haven't gotten to Tower Rico yet. A principal in Oklahoma has suspended 122 students during the walkout for truancy. Wow. And the governor has said he backs him. I wonder what Josh Shapiro would do. I wonder what Becky Pringle would say about that, the head of the NEA, National Education Association. Well, we have Corey DeAngelis with us, who, in addition to the school choice issue, realizes that the teachers' unions...

Not just the national, but any number of them, including in Florida, are a menace. My words, maybe not his. He's with us here on the Dom Gerdano show. Corey, the activity level of Corey DeAngelis is remarkable. I guess it would be called Good Trouble. Thanks for joining us. That's right, Dom. And yes, the Florida Teacher Union is a menace, and they let the mask slip at their latest press conference where they had a speaker featured saying that the anti-ice protests are not just rational, but they said, quote, they are required. And it has a lot of people upset, and now they're backpedaling at the union after backlash. Yeah, so, Corey, what are the metrics? I mean, in our heart of hearts, I agree that enablement is going on, indoctrination in the schools. Is it the NIA putting out on Twitter? They're not only endorsement of this, but it's a quasi-fundraising move by them. How do we know, how do we prove, I guess, when this comes up and people say, come on, you guys, these kids are just walking out? Well, Dom, we can't point to Twitter in the NEA anymore because they ran away to blue sky. They're no longer on X because they don't like Elon Musk. And even before, when they were on Twitter, they blocked me. The largest teacher gene in the country blocked me on social media. And so what I do is I point back to their annual convention seven months ago in Portland, Oregon, of all places, where they passed a whole bunch of crazy resolutions. But one of them is relevant here because... It called for them to dedicate union money, resources, and their time to put their thumb on the scale to encourage anti-Ith student protest, to support students who are against Trump's policies, and to support them voice their opinion against. ice and against deportation. So that's all in there. I mean, it's written down. It's their official meeting. They've been planning this for a long time. It didn't bubble up out of nowhere. You look last year as well. Becky Pringle, the NEA president, who's also an at-large member, the DNC, who makes over about a half a million dollars a year. She was protesting in Los Angeles last summer when they were doing all the anti-ice riots. She's been encouraging this for a long time, and so it shouldn't surprise us that you have these union activists using children as political pawns now. And we're starting to see we have one where a guy got hit with a water bottle while driving, gets out of the car, punches somebody. We saw one kid get hit by a car. We're starting to see, Corey, that, you know, if not outright violence, these things are not well policed, and you're seeing injuries at least. Yeah, it's a danger to the students. And look, students can have their First Amendment rights, but this doesn't come from the students. They want to get out of class. This is coming from the adults who are supposed to be leaders in the school system. And their left-wing bias is on full display. So the kids think that this kind of activity is praised by the teachers, especially the union bosses like Becky Pringle. And so, of course, they're going to want to get out of class and create these posters in their spare time.

so that they can get out of the hard stuff, math reading and writing. But we need to have some leadership in the school system. And in Texas, my governor, Greg Abbott, has called to pull state funding from these schools that facilitate these anti-ice protests. Look, if a student wants to wear a shirt that voices their opinion at school, that's them exercising their First Amendment rights. But it doesn't go beyond that to disrupting the school day while taxpayers are funding this madness. And by the way, Dom, not all teachers are doing this. There are some of them that don't agree with Becky Pringle. It's incumbent upon them to opt out of the union now, like the Ford Education Association with their press conference just the other day. If you're not in agreement with this stuff, you don't have to keep funding these lunatics at the top of the union. You can opt out and join alternatives like the Teacher Freedom Alliance. That's how you really send a message. We want school choice, obviously, to send a message to the district. But we need teacher choice, too, to send a message to the union bosses who are making them look bad. Well, you have crafted the second path here, and that may weaken them quicker than the school choice thing. Although the school choice thing, I think I saw through you, Corey DeAngelis, about 100,000 parents and kids, 100,000 families now, have tried to opt in to school choice in the statewide school choice system in Texas. Boom, it's a big deal. Yeah, Florida has over 600,000 kids, but they've been doing this for decades. We just launched our program in Texas like a week or two ago, and we're already at over now 107,000 applications. I will say it's open until March 17th, so there's a lot of time to apply, but there's only 100,000, about 90,000 slots available because lawmakers created this arbitrary cap of... a billion dollars in funding for the program. And already we're seeing you open the floodgates, parents need exit options now more than ever because they see all this activism in the schools. And so this isn't just happening in blue states like California, New York or Pennsylvania. You see this happening in Texas, too. You see this far left activism. Even in places like Mississippi, Tennessee, they're not free from... this radical indoctrination where you have people from the Democrat Party who have infiltrated the school system, even in red states. And so there's going to be a wait list in Texas because so many people are desperate for options. And by the way, these are scholarships at about $10,000 a kid, whereas the government schools are spending twice that amount, Dom. They're spending like $18,000,000, a kid in Texas. So look, it saves taxpayer money. a bigger reason why there should be no cap on the budget for because you're spending half the amount if a student uses the program as opposed to going to a public school. Absolutely. Corey, I see on Twitter a lot of this. And I can make the case. Is it a good case? We're seeing a school in the Baltimore area, a walkout. Only 2% of their kids are proficient statewide. in math and 39% in reading. Is it fair to use that metric? And if so, what's the, I have my own thoughts and what the metric gets at when we say, look at these walkouts, and yet you're not even 2% proficient in math. Yeah, I think that's a good metric. Another metric is parent satisfaction, safety. What do they do when they're given an option? Look, if everybody stayed in their public school once you gave them a choice.

then, you know, great. That would tell me that your public school system isn't as bad as I thought. And, you know, at the end of the day, if you have a choice and you don't exercise it, the public school should have nothing to worry about. The problem is they know that they're pushing far-left activism. They know that they're failing kids academically. And in Baltimore, 40% of their high schools there have not a single kid proficient in math. They're failure factories. They're not public schools. and they're failing the least advantaged more than anybody else. If they have time to go protest ICE and do all these other things, why don't they have time to improve their academic outcomes? The thing is, Dom, a lot of these people get into the system not to prepare kids to get a good job and to improve their academics and to teach them how to read. They get into the system to push their political activism into the classroom to create... Democrat foot soldiers to push their socialist agenda. And, you know, again, not all teachers are doing this, but you have too many bad apples in the system to where they're making everybody look bad. And so, you know, some teachers are going out there. I posted a video of Julie Collier from Oklahoma. She posted a video, went viral and said, you know what? You should resign if you're trying to push your politics into the classroom. And she later won the Oklahoma... middle school teacher of the year recently in her district. So that just goes to show you you can step out and do the right thing as a teacher, even as a conservative. And, you know, you can still succeed and win awards. And you just need not be afraid of the radical left trying to intimidate you. No, you're making it more every day with more and more teachers doing that. Do you have any idea of the numbers ever when we went back to the Supreme Court when they said you don't have to be a member of the teachers? I taught in Jersey, Corey. I think you know by statute. By a statute, they took my money out the other teachers. We never even saw it. They didn't even have to collect it. It's just by law it comes out. Yeah, I'm not sure what the exact numbers on the number of teachers that have opted out. But I know the Freedom Foundation has reported just thousands and thousands of teachers have left. I think even like this year they had reported there have been thousands of teachers that have opted out of the union. And I think that is the next frontier of activism because, you know, it's not parents versus teachers. It's parents and the teachers versus the system. which doesn't care about any of them. I mean, the employer is basically a monopoly, doesn't have to spend money wisely. And that means the money doesn't go to the classroom to help the kids. And that means the money doesn't go towards the teachers either because the teachers are the most important resource in the school. It's just when you are insulated from competition, what are you going to do? You instead put that money towards administrative bloat and your buddies at the top. Randy Weingarten, who makes... over half a million dollars year. I think she's over $600,000 a year now to lead the American Federation of Teachers. And they have done nothing to support academic progress for kids. And the teachers are getting the short end of the stick, too. You look, over the past half century, teacher salaries have been flat after adjusting for inflation. But spending in the schools has increased by 170% in real terms. So the money is going.

to the superintendents, making more than the president of the United States, it's going towards the union bosses, and it's going towards just hiring more people, which means more dues-paying members than a larger voting block, which is good for political ambitions, but it's not so good for the teachers who are high-quality, doing a good job in the system today, who aren't seeing the money. I mean, they're digging into their pockets, trying to figure things out, make ends meet, to try to give kids supplies each year at school. The problem is when you spend that money instead on hiring additional people that helps the union, it doesn't really help the individual. And so a lot of the teachers could do better off. with liability insurance from the teacher freedom lines for free, but also negotiating their own contracts. And how about some performance pay, too? The unions fight against that every step of the way. Absolutely. And the place to go to really get help, inspiration, the tactics, the infrastructure is your book. face of what people expect from Eagles players, that type of player, swearing off against the pint-sized congressman from Northeast Philadelphia, Brendan Boyle. So Seth Joyner put up on Twitter, I usually stay away from politics, but is this a simply common sense, can we as an American citizen go to another country and partake by voting in said countries' elections? Well, you need an ID for everything in life. Am I missing something here? By five votes, I'd love for someone to explain why a congressman slash woman would vote no. Well, jumping in was Brendan Boyle. He wrote on Twitter, Hi, I'm a big birds fan who grew up watching you play and happy to explain. The SAVE Act requires a current passport, which most voters lack, and costs dollars or a birth certificate, which some lack access to, and married women would have to get updated to vote. Well, then Joyner responded, I'm sorry, Congressman. Citizens have until November 3, 2026, to get a new or updated birth certificate or passport. If their vote means something to them, then get to work to ensure you can register to vote, period. Enough excuses, verifiable citizenship, as it is in other countries, should be a must. So not only did he put it out there, but then he responded to Boyle. And then he said, you're allowing potential voter fraud and interference for the sake of making things easy on those too lazy to secure what others have died for. At what point are people responsible for themselves respectfully? I don't know if Brendan has replied to that. Here's why it's important with Seth Joyner. You have a guy, and I'm looking at some of the... people responding to Joyner taking the Boyle side or something like that. You have any number of these average Eagles fans who are not progressive certainly, but they're all their lives, they voted Democratic, so they're going to follow this line of thought. And when you have a guy like this, talk about the common sense principles of this and how can we not arrive at something that's going to methodically ensure voter integrity, It matters versus some politician or somebody that's, you know, in talk radio or whatever. This is a widespread cultural figure. It's dawning on him to get the word out there around this. And he even followed up. He didn't go, oh, thanks, Brendan. Now I understand. So the voter ID thing is just incredibly popular. Now, the citizenship stuff, that's something that takes more back and forth on this, a little bit more difficult. But the Democrats are disingenuous in their mixing the two together. They're not in favor of voter ID, even a little bit, let alone getting to the citizenship issue. How does this end? Well, the battle is going to be joined to see what John Thune does.

to see if they force Democrats to actually do a talking filibuster or not. And if they do, how long this takes. But I'm in the camp that says, even if it takes a month, well, no other Senate business is getting done, even if it takes a month, this would be worth it. All right? We'll see. But this back and forth would boil and Seth Joyner. is a good thing. And he's got a big audience. And as I said, Seth Joyner's involved in a voter ID fight? Yeah, on Twitter, just by throwing it out there. And I think Boyle thought, well, yeah, I'll just make him aware of this. He probably doesn't know this. He responds, well, isn't it your responsibility to get that done? That's the citizenship part. Well, what about the voter ID part, Brandon? What's the objection to that? Don, the only guy I know who would accept non-citizen votes. is Vladimir Putin if you were to vote for him. Yeah, but Joe, we can start with the basic. They're against the voter ID too. So, you know, I'd rather start with that. And if they agreed to that, then we can talk to citizenship thing, which is a little bit harder. Yeah. Well, you know, I've been saying for the last eight years, this inundation across our border is nothing but a vote grab. And it was a recruit for votes. So they want to keep their immigration votes intact and not, you know, contest it. Well, what the play is right now, and this will be the next thing, Joe, you know, but maybe others don't. is we ought to change the census. We shouldn't be counting non-citizens. What the Democrat real play is to have those districts with these non-citizens pumping up those numbers, that's what helps them. It helps electoral votes. It helps them get more members in Congress. And you saw the toe in the door when they said these people, you know, who came into the country, they should have to say in local elections. Oh, right. Well, from local election is going to be county elections and county elections going to be state elections as they slip more and more body parts into that door. Yeah, absolutely, Joe. And that's why this is such a big deal. I think it's got a reasonable shot here when we get to the filibuster to become law. And if it does, it's going to have big impact. Back in November, the president suggested that FCC chair, Brendan Carr, look into ABC's broadcasting license after Mary Bruce asked questions that he didn't like. Yeah. And as a journalist, what do you make of Trump's apparent weaponizing of the FCC? I think it's something that the president, we didn't see him do as much in his first term. It's a way that he's wielding his power so differently in the second term. I think ever... I think there's sort of the chains are off. Yeah, ever since Brendan Carr, I mean, was in this position, I don't think anything that he's done is really that surprising if you've been covering Trump and paying attention. And so I think, you know, the question is how far he goes on his threats. Does he follow through? Does he even need to follow through or does just making the threat in and of itself already cause the action? For instance, if you threaten the network and they might just do it for you without actually, you know, making a ruling of any kind. And I think it's actually a really... slippery slope because I think that you've seen some people on the right cheering this and saying, well, that's what we want Brendan Carr to do. I think that they don't want a Democratic administration saying that right-wing talk radio must give equal time to Democrats or to see that moment. And so for me personally, on our show, I have Democrats and Republicans on. I want to know what everyone's saying. I want my viewers to know what the debate is that's in Washington. I don't think anyone wants the federal government telling people who they should book on their show and who the guests should be on. their show. All right. And again, you know what it's like for us to get on. That's why I commend yesterday having Danny Seisler on, who won the sheriff's race over in Bucks County. His view and mine are very different on these walkouts. We had Fred Herron on the other day. No, what we don't want. is some menu put together by a bureaucrat, you know, up and down the lines, not a free flow. But as far as around elections, that's what we're talking about here, Caitlin. We're talking about in this election cycle. And they're saying, if you give that platform to James Talarico, what about Jasmine Crockett? All right? And you've seen any of the statistics. We don't have to pull them up with the talk, particularly Jimmy Kamal. the overwhelming rate of Democrats, Democrat leaning, liberals and all that versus Republicans that end up on those shows. Are they new shows? Yeah, in some ways they are. By the way, I happened to see during the something going on this morning on Fox. Could it be the budget Zohran Mamdani proposed yesterday? I guess it was.

Pennsylvania's is about 53 billion and change from Josh Shapiro, which is outrageous. Florida's, I'm surprised Florida is bigger. I think it was around 58. Zohran Mamdani proposing a $127 billion budget for one city. Now, it is New York. I get that. But better than two times either Florida, well, Florida and Pennsylvania put together and then probably Rhode Island and Idaho. He wants the budget of major, two of the top seven major states put together and then some others for one city. And he says if you don't do that, then he's going to raise this 10% tax more. Kevin O'Leary from Chartank and others yesterday saying, well, more people would just move out in New York. We're going to see. I'm not fully convinced about that. I know that's the threat, but in reality, look at Jersey. Jersey is confiscatory. They do drive out people, but not enough for them to stop it. So it should tell you something. By the way, Matt Rooney, he was on the show yesterday, he's got some great stuff up at savejursey.com. A couple of bills it might go through. A 50% tax on private prisons to stop ICE, a new 50% tax. And how about this one? A bill that if you ever serve in ICE, you would be barred from any and all state government positions forever. So wait a minute, you're a law enforcement officer in ICE. You would never be able then to hold any state job. Think of the people they put in there, criminals and others and near criminals. This is like the Nuremberg trial thing again. This is what they have planned if they win the midterms and beyond. They win the presidency. To drag every person in that supported any of the Trump policies or Rory and ICE or anything else and make them pay. That's what they're about, going after people because of their political beliefs. So if they're in ice, they never can work in the state of Jersey again. It's pretty diabolical. It's pretty incredible. And they have the power to push stuff like this through. How convenient, whenever she's asked. Is this treason? I think he says, yes. It's definitely treason adjacent. Disgraceful that this country gave her all this. And yet, she's helping to glorify the communist Chinese. We really don't think there's anything legal you can do to her, not that I see. But we'll ask him about that. And we'll ask him about Mark Cuban saying, yeah, the NBA should encourage tanking.

He showed up because he was upset at what we saw over in Lindenwald. Remember that with the kids in Lindenwald running with ice? And we told you the real story there that the guy, according to ICE's criminal connection, and fled weaving his car through traffic with school kids. He's still at large. This guy from Haddon Heights shows up and says, and I'm an average show who grew up in Haddon Heights, Joseph Zobel, with the American flag. Well...

It's good to see a guy like this and the American flag at one of these no kings and the like protest. So look, guys like this deserve to be respected. He sees it one way. That's fine. But a lot of these women, this is just virtue signaling. It's often violent or threatening violence, threatening death. Here's one more for today. Here's a liberal woman. This is cut for progressive. Welcome back to Philadelphia. Thank you for having me, brother. Well, you made quite an impact when you were on with us before, and we saw you with Laura Ingram the other night. So talk a little bit watching this play out, particularly with the Chinese, how you see this. What should be done in your view? Right. So just like I said of Fox News, you know, they asked me about, obviously, Eileen Gu. And I pretty much said, like she, everybody knows she was born in America, raised in America, lives in America, and she chose to compete against her own country for the worst human rights abuse from the planet, China. You know, it's interesting because she built her fame in a free country, like America, right, then choose to represent an authoritarian regime while chasing. and endorsement deals linked by watchdog groups to mass detention and forced labor camps so and everybody knows when human rights comes up she disappears and you know she chose to play for a country responsible for the tens of I mean, I said tens of millions of its own people. You know, while we are talking right now, there's a genocide happening over there, and everybody's scared to talk about it. So my message to her is, like, you don't get to enjoy the freedoms of U.S. citizenship while acting as a global PR for the Chinese Communist Party. You know, by choosing to promote the CCP on the world stage, I think, you know, she fitted any moral claim to America and should not keep her citizenship. And so she chose literally communism over freedom. Yeah, and I would say the most, and you know it better than I, being through it, having to be the target here, they are relentless beyond any authoritarian we've ever seen. All Darrell Morey did to Philadelphia now GM, the president was right, free Hong Kong. And the world, were you critical of China before that and did it help you when the NBA started to show their true colors? You know, when actually, I don't think I've ever understood anyone. So when Darryl Murray tweeted, right, stand with Hong Kong. And it's a human rights issue. It's not a political issue. It's a human rights issue. Right. So when he tweeted it, I was playing for Celtics. And I remember the assistant general manager walked in into the huddle. And he said, listen, NBA is losing millions of dollars. Please do not make any comments about it. And I remember Brad Stevens, he was the head coach back then. He stopped them. He's like, no, no, no, no. They are allowed to say whatever they want. We live in America, but just be ready for the consequences. So that whole thing just put a little question mark in my head because NBA, right? always said, if you see anything wrong, talk about it. They were encouraging us to talk about all the problems that are happening in America. They were telling us to take any. They were telling us to protest, blah, blah, right? And I'm like, I'm confused. So you will stand up for the things until it hits your pocket. Yeah. So when I started to talk about China, I had a conversation with Darrell Murray and no one even knows about it.

He said, listen, when I tweeted about Stanford Hong Kong, NBA took my tweet on. NBA made me apologize. NBA made me put something like statements out that I didn't want to put. He said to me, do not do that. You know, they're going to pressure you. Don't take your tweet down. Keep talking because no athlete ever other than you is going to talk about the human rights violations are done by Chinese Communist Party. And I'm like going crazy. I was like, I cannot believe when NBA was saying that, oh, we have Daryl Morris back. You know, he has free speech. You can't say what are he on. But behind closed doors, they're like, take your tweet down. Apologize. We lose the millions of dollars. Wow. I wanted to ask you, Annis, because I don't remember. I remember your career, certainly, and what a heck of a rebounder, among other things you were. But did you have endorsement deals and did it, you know, back to Ms. Goo? And the endorsement deal she has, it's going to be interesting in the light of this to see what she keeps. Did you have endorsement deals and then did they get pulled away? You know, when you are fighting against dictatorship, man, you're not going to get any kind of endorsement deals. My first couple of years in the league, obviously, I did have a lot of endorsement deals. And once I started to talk about, you know, the problems that are happening. In Turkey, you know, the company started to like, okay, like what is you talking about? Because every obviously organization, company, brand wants to get into these European countries, right? Especially like China. So until I made comments about China, I was, you know, talking to a lot of brands and obviously they were, you know, paid me some, you know, money here and whatever. But as soon as I talk about the Chinese Communist Party, I promise you, everything was just disappeared. As soon as I make a comment about Nike, I think they are the biggest hypocritical company in America because what they do in America, right, they're paying at least millions of dollars to talk about the injustice happening in America, but when it comes to China, everybody knows about the sweatshop. So as soon as I make a comment about China and Nike, boom, everything disappeared. You know, you've said that a couple times today, and that's a really shrewd point. Not just they don't want you to talk about China. They encourage for commercial success. We are both a hip, but seemingly anti the American system, you know, with Tiger not being able to play on golf courses and all. Your book, How's the book going in the name of freedom, a political dissonance fight for human rights in the NBA and around the world? Now, the book is killing a man. In my first week, we made the New York Times best-selling list. I mean...

Throughout, I mean, I know, like, I was always thinking like, God is going to close that NBA door, but I know he's going to open up a new one. So so far, only 12 NBA players ever made the New York Times bestseller list. And my book was the 13th one. So we so, I think my first week, we sold close to 35,000 books. Wow. And now the book has shouted into so many different languages. And you know, the beautiful thing of it is, man. Like, this book is not political. I don't care if you're from the right, from the left. Like, whoever you are, you can actually buy this book in the name of freedom and learn about all the human rights of values that are happening around the world. Because human rights are above politics. I don't care which side you support, which party, which president you voted for. You have to care about human rights, you know. So I just hope that this book will inspire the next generation because I see these days, man, like a lot of this. on it is your kids taking their freedom for granted. So I hope this book will be like a wake-up hope for them. Well, it would be interesting to see you going back and forth talking about this with Ms. Goo, who, you know, and one note, you probably know this, but for listeners, Annis, her family fled and came here because of Tiananmen Square. And yet this is still how she turns out and turns on this country and turns on human rights. You know, we have one side, we have Ailingu, and the other side we have Alisa Liu. I don't know if you heard about him, but, you know, I mean, when you compare Ailingu and Alisa Liu, you're not just comparing athletes, you compare the system and values. You know, Ireland Gulu chose to represent China, again, a country run by the Chinese Communist Party, one of the most powerful authoritarian regimes in the world. And Alisa Liu represents the United States, where athletes grew up with freedom of expression, freedom of belief, and ability to pursue excellence without state control. So, I mean, we have bad examples and we have good examples. It's literally about morals, values, and principles. I mean, Island Glue is literally making $23 million a year by just endorsement deals. So I feel like we need to, you know, just invest in more athletes who wants to, you know, represents America, represents freedom and represents democracy and not communism. That's it with our dollars. And thank you for being aware. My producer did put up. She's one of our best figure skaters. So, too, we'll keep on hammering that. What's your life like now? Do you feel free to travel to go about? Are you playing any ball or anything like that? Well, what is Ennis Freedom about now? So, I mean, unfortunately, just because of Turkish government put my name on Interpol list, I am only allowed to travel to 29 countries in the world. Any other countries I travel to, you know, it could get very ugly if they have an expedition deal with Turkey. And also, I have a bounty on my head. So my, you know, my travel schedule is like very limited. But, you know, what I do, man, you know, unfortunately, when you, every time you watch the news or you go on social media.

And you're going to realize that our world is so divided. Literally people are like hitting each other these days. But I think there are three things that can bring people together. And that's sports, art and food. And especially sportsmen, we can use like sports as a tool to bring people together. So what I do is I go around the world. I organize basketball camps. And with these basketball camps, we bring. you know, Muslims, Jews, Christians, blacks, white. It doesn't matter, like, whoever you are. You come to these basketball camps and we play basketball for two hours. We compete. And then after that, we have these uncomfortable conversations. People ask questions to each other and stuff. So it's been amazing, man. I think what I'm doing is bigger than basketball, bigger than NBA, bigger than myself. So again, God closed one door and opened up a... Me with other ones. That is a great one. But I have a question. It's pedestrian. If you just said that, but knowing you were on today, Mark Cuban, I think doesn't get it. I don't know if you saw this. I know you're traveling. He says the NBA should be fine with tanking to get a better draft pick. Oh, my Lord. Because people just go to the games because they want it to be memorable, have fun. It's not the competitive aspect. You're a guy who made it to the NBA, so certainly the competitive aspect, even in a run-of-mill game, to remain in the NBA is always there. How can an owner not think that competition is something that fans really want? Every game, they want to see that. I mean, I think, like, I don't know, I think Mark Cuban is just, at this point, I'm just going to start thinking like he just, like, wants to get, like, he wants to get attention. Like, this is little the most idiotic thing I've ever seen in my life. So, I mean, this happened to me when I was playing for the Knicks. You know, Coach Fiedel called me in his room and said, listen, this is what happens when you're a good player, played in a bad team. From now, we're going to fit you. And I even told them, I'm like, dude, listen, I'm not getting paid millions of dollars to just go out there and lose the game. I'm going to compete every game. I don't care. what happens, right? And then I promise you the organization was going crazy. The GM and the president and the owner and everybody was going crazy, right? And then I'm like, I'm not scared of anybody. I'm just going to go on the media and say the Nix is tanking and Nixon's trying to lose on purpose so they can get a better draft pick. But it's karma, man. They wanted to get Zion Williamson. Nope, they didn't. You know, but it's just sad, man, because, like, these fans, like, paying thousands of, maybe tens of, maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to go to the game and enjoy the game, right? And then you see, like, all your starters are sitting and you're trying to, like, take them, like, lose on purpose. And then you're playing the bench players or you bring in, like, two-way players, or you bring in, you know, players from the G-League. And now, you know, what's the most funniest thing?

that playing against each other, if they're both trying to lose, if they both try to get a better draft pick. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. It's not an NBA game, you know. See, you had to endure that. And I can hear the difference. I never had to do that. The basketball I played with, it was all out, you know, it was the fun of the game. It was competition and all. Never had to deal with. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is just an authoritarian dictator. But China is the enemy of the world, the existential killers of the world. We've seen it with COVID. We know what they would do. We see what they do every day. This woman is someone who has to be shunned, essentially. This choice is not acceptable.

You know, I know they're supposed to do the quizzing here. Well, it's a trial. So maybe it'll be a little bit different. I'm sorry, it's not the Senate. It's a trial. So maybe the expert witnesses, I don't know, the guy I'd hate to have them testify against me is the Hyatt guy. The guy that wrote the book, The Anxious Generation, who was just on with Bill Maher. The social media impact, though, what are they really? Is it like a newspaper? Is it not? Is there an addictive quality to this? TikTok, particularly. An umpire is actually going to stand there and a computer's going to tell him what to say. Well, that's not how it works. It does not? No, they're still calling balls and strikes. It's just the batter in that moment. He can't look to the dugout and be like, was that a ball? Was that a strike? In that moment, he has to be like, I'm challenging that. Was that making the American Dream more difficult? I'm looking at this and I'm not going to offer it as a total barometer, but the Inquirer and 6 ABC. have been looking at a metric. You know, it's a handy metric. It's not deep economics to determine how people are feeling about things now. And they say that summer rentals are better than last year, meaning people are getting in there earlier, which sometimes indicates. they're going to make a decision with their disposable income, and they're lining up their shore home earlier, and it seems to be for the mid and up, not just the lower end. That's always something we look at. Last year it happened very late in the season, people cutting back, et cetera, not a good sign. So is that a positive sign? I'd say it is. Is it definitive? No, it's not. And I don't think the midterms are necessarily going to be on that. It's going to be a turnout election. I know how they're turning out. You can't deny it. They can't get a Trump. They're going to get it every Republican. They can. They got a nice little banner to put up affordability. They believe in it. They got something, some word they can say jibber japs. They're going to do that. What do Republicans counter with it? Still got to get those reluctant Trump voters out there. The others that Trump brought in 2024 might be someone who comes our way. if inflation is down, if things are better. Just a little sign. By the way, Bruce's favorite sandwich, peanut butter and jelly, just an ordinary guy. I mean, that just doesn't seem likely to me. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with all the sandwich choices, it doesn't have to be fancy. But, you know, I'll admit it. I like what Ro has. It seems to me with the dynamic pricing, it was just incredibly pricey the first time he did that. I'm talking a thousand. And it doesn't mean a front row seat. These were somewhere relatively close, but, you know, not, not overwhelming. Will he sell out? Yeah, there is an audience. There's a thing. You have people that would agree with us. The inauthenticity of this guy is now out there. And you just cannot, well, I'm looking at Jimmy Kimmel is doing a big event, Democrat fundraiser. in L.A. and the tickets start, the cheaper ones, at 25,000. To walk around with Hakeem Jeffries, just to walk around with him for five minutes as he's walking through the thing is 300,000. And yet, what will they talk about? Affordability, income inequality, and billionaires. It seems to me it's a level playing field when you see some of the power players. that are associated with Democrats, how much money they raised at these things, Hollywood alone, Silicon Valley has a lot of them, and other celebrities. If not billionaires, there were 10 to 50 million or more. So be ready for this, I don't know if he'll do something around the midterms or not. They will not allow in any way that they can. with the Fitzpatrick leading the way, a quote detention center or even processing center for ICE. So I'm not saying they don't have a right to where this would be located and even there should be inspections. We hear this all the time. But where is ICE going to put all these people? while they're waiting for their turn to get a full and fair due process. We hear due process all the time. And if that's the case, where are they going to be put if they're in Bucks County? Is everybody going to be transported to Reading? That's where the battle's going to be. Now, what they're saying in Bucks County and what they're saying in these other places, ICE is not going to be allowed to pick anybody up, even the worst of the worst. So, Diane, if we had to put some of these criminals on ICE over there, right, you're opposed to that. Let's leave aside those just here allegedly without any other criminal matter. The worst of the worst. Nope, not in Bucks County. Again, how many times do I have to underline this? The suburbs have lost their mind. Now, she's not up to re-election, I believe, to 27. And of course, Scott Presler has that on his list more important than presidential primaries to be here in Bucks County. All right, that's one thing. One other quick thing, and you call in this, I'm coming to you on the side question too. This is from Daniel Pearson, and I did reply to him, what a bizarre take on Twitter. Pearson is a columnist and I think somewhat of an editor over at the Philadelphia Inquirer. We'll invite him on. He tweeted out, Wawa has fallen off. They don't know how to operate stores in Center City, Philadelphia. And now their rivals sense their weakness and are moving into their turf. And he identifies himself, you know, as he should. He uses a headline from the Philadelphia Inquirer. Sheets wants to move into Delaware County home of Wawa. Okay, so picture these country bumpkins. You know, I hate to be that harsh. I've only went to a sheet once when we used to go to Harrisburg for the governor's show to compare that to Wawa. And it is substandard. It's, um,

There's a lot of business type of stuff of flashing and all that. I think they had beer in there that I remember. Henry, you've been to sheets, right? You're in Bloomsburg. What do you say? I think it's a lot of bells and whistles. That's what I was saying. You distract from just mediocre food. Like, yeah, you can put like jalapeno. you know, poppers on your cheeseburger, and it's like, that's fine. Right. Burger still kind of stinks, you know. All right. Now, Wawa's only capital punishment in joke, metaphorically, is the pizza. Stop with the pizza stuff, everything else will be fine. They seem to be trying. Imagine now, going after, is there a company more identified with the Philadelphia area, Schwabber bombs? You know, the whole thing, the hoagies, the whole thing they play. Hogi Fest. The whole thing they do with Independence Day. And these ingrates at the Enquirer in other places just can't stand that, willing to point out, they see decline here. You know what it's about. It's not about Wawa expanding, which, hey, that's their business. They've been really successful. I mean, I've read different articles, how convenient they try to make it. We've had callers today say they have up their game, it seems to be, and being polite and friendly and all that. That's my experience. I don't notice decline here in the food or anything else. Now, not that I get it that frequently. And the pizza is a problem. But saying they can't operate in Center City, why don't they learn how to do that? Can you imagine? Isn't this, I think I found the nugget here with this guy in the Enquirer sitting in their ivory tower. And it used to be truly an ivory tower. I'm not sure where they are now. They're over on Market Street. In their ivory tower. telling Wawa who has to deal with Krasner shoplifting, every vagrant hanging out. And what are you going to do? They're not going to move along. The police don't seem that they're going to move them along. Everybody thinks, well, homeless have to be somewhere. Let them be there at Twelfth and market and the other locations. And there's shoplifting. What are you going to do about it? You get too tough on this. That's a problem with Krasner. Yeah, well, Krasner says, I never said if it's under $1,000. Yes, you did. We have it in writing. It goes on and on and on. Taking a shot at Wawa to defend Krasner and what they've allowed Center City to become, to be overrun by this nonsense. And then pointing to using sheets coming here. How in the world is this the paper of Philadelphia? Wawa is a brilliantly a center partner of all things, Philadelphia. I don't know who I would say has been a better... corporate sponsor, just like I think the Phillies over the years have. Not so much the Eagles at various points. Not so bad now. person, place, thing, because today is the day they raised the flag on Iwo Jima. Now we had a slight correction. I think the guy's probably right that didn't signal the end of actually the war on Iwojima. But I think it was the high point and then the mop up maybe. That's the way I would put it. And it rallied America to see that flag go up. Now, others have tried to pull that down a bit. But it seems to me a moment in that struggle that was unbelievable because as bad as it was fighting the Germans, the Japanese, we know the tension there of what would have happened if we had to invade. And Iwo Jima was particularly bloody beyond belief. And the American public had to deal with that. They were looking for a rallying point. And this certainly. Think of the iconic images. I can think of no better photo that moves me than the kiss. I don't care what the photo is every time we do this. The sweetness of it, the relief of it. And that woman was not a nurse. That's how a dental hygienist dress back then. You know, pretty fancy for it in Times Square. It's in Sarasota, Florida, I've been told. So that moment captures it. But the combined forces there raising the flag on Iwojima, yeah, I think that rallied America. We're going to beat them. The savagery of the war in the Pacific. All that came home. Either one, it's like 82% the last time that said, what are you talking about? Wawa declining. Or because Wawa. And they didn't rub the nose of Krasner and the city in it. They were circumspect about it, but they got out of Dodge, and they're right. The Philadelphia Inquirer, and this guy Pearson, essentially they're saying, you've got to suffer here in Philadelphia to be real Philadelphia. You have to be in a world of unreality. You have to put up with the fact that people can shoplift. The homeless can make this their home. That's the urban lifestyle. That's what the inquire is saying. And if Wawa can't do it, maybe Sheets can. I want to see Sheets put a store. Come on, Sheets, put a store in there at 12th in Market. Let's see what happens. Can you imagine the show? Sheets is in the suburb. I don't even know if they're in Pittsburgh or we'll have to look it up. Do they have stores in downtown Harrisburg? What's that like? This is the attitude in Philadelphia.

To be a good part, you have to pony up the money and you have to shut up about what you have to endure as a business. We'll see if the guy will come on and tell us why he's saying Wawa is in decline. Has he counted the ham sandwiches over there or something? If he put a pizza remark at it, I might be interesting. That's the only crime here with Wawa. And how successful they are. The breakdown between Sheets and Wawa locations. Yes. Sheets has over 820 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Michigan. Wawa has just under 1,200 stores with the most in Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Okay. And they're in 14 states across the country. I didn't know they were in 820 now. Yeah, I just would like to see how many are these in, you know, sheets doesn't have any in a place like downtown Philadelphia. That's the test. I don't even know if Harrisburg would be the test. They're not run well either. But I don't know if they have a Krasner like attorney there who says, hey, shoplift all that you want. And it's more than that. People hang out there all day. They harass people. They beg, they're on them, et cetera. And what can they do about it? Well, chase them away. Get the police. They're not going to do it. That's Philadelphia. I don't know where Wawa, you know, all of a sudden became like the stop on the turnpike, you know, even though it's on Bustled Avenue or, you know, it used to be a convenience store. Now I find it to be an inconvenience store because it's all self-serve. You got to, you know, you got to do your own coffee. You got to order your own sandwich. You got to pay for it yourself. And then, you know, they, you know, what do they, they check your receipt on their way out. Wait a minute, is that in northeast Philly or in Bucks County, your Wawa? Yeah, well, there's one lower southampton, you know, on the boulevard by, you know, Old Lincoln Highway. They're all automated. Now, the one in West Philly closed because of that because people didn't want it. Yeah, I mean, it used to be you walked in. You ordered your shorty. You know, you ordered a cup of coffee, and then, you know, they gave it to you and you went to the cashier. You checked out. Now, you know, you got to order it yourself. You got to tell you what you want on it, you know, on your sandwich, what size. And, you know, you got to pay for it in advance or at least get, you know, like a little ticket.

Well, that's ordinary, though, that's been standard for years. All right, thanks, Sean, very much. I'll take a look at that. That might be a criticism. They've gone too much automated. Wait, how did they do it before? That's the way they've been doing it. Yeah. What do you mean? How are these supposed to know what you want on your sandwich? Right, right. So I'm not, you know, I know they did this automated store completely over in West Philly. And that failed. I know that it was shoplifting and or people didn't want to do that with no one there. But, yeah, standard, you go in, you hit a touchscreen, you order it, you pay in advance, and then you come back and you wait, and they give you the tickets pretty effective. Yeah. And they've done it 15, 20 years, thereabouts. Same thing at sheets, too. Yeah, yeah. Jack and West DeFord on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Jack, good afternoon. Oh, hi, good to talk here. I have so much three or four things I want to get to. I hope I have time to. I'm just going to say some words, and I'm going to talk about them. Costafo and immigration, billionaires, King's Dictators, First Lady, Madonna, Madona, I mean, okay, I'll get to the thing about immigration. This thing here. The left, when you say the word, they don't care about sex crimes, child sex crimes, rape, murder, and all the crimes. They don't care about that. The thing that'll get through to them is you've got to pose this question. Where were they? Where were they when President Obama deported $3 million and he talks, the video on him talking about immigration? Where were they when Hillary Clinton said, we've got to get the criminal illegal immigrants out of this country? Where were they when Bill Clinton talked about it? Where did they were in Nancy Pelosi? Yeah, good point, Jack. And we know, and their argument is, which is fallacious. Their argument is, yeah, but we didn't have all this carnage. Now, the only thing I would tell you, in fairness, when Christine Ome, who's got to go, I don't know if you haven't listened to me before, Christine Ome's got to be out of there, put Tom Homan in, tag him in today, and Bovino, they weren't good in Minnesota. When Tom Homan got there, and by the way, the former Homeland Security Chief for Obama today commended Tom Homan and said he's very, very good at performance and a good guy. You put home and in and what happened. He did what on my show, Paul Morrow came on and said from Fox. I said enough people there. You have to cordon off those trying to disrupt what they're doing, have a free zone, let them do their operation, then get out of there. You don't be jawing with these people. You don't allow them to interfere when you have enough people around whoever you're trying to take out. That makes a lot of sense. Noam and Bovino did not get that. Put Holman into this, let him organize it more now that he is pretty clearly. And you see what happens. Ice can be effective and we don't see any of the collateral stuff that happened in Minnesota. Now, that's not caving into anybody. It's just smart police work. And to that point, and I'm going to ask some of these people.

Where are the other police organizations? Do they support ICE or not? The cops. Do they support ICE or not? Well, you know, that's too tough to say. They're all law enforcement. They're under fire. And I'm talking about the ICE of Tom Homan, not so much the Bovino-Kristi Noem thing, situations that we saw. Not that I think that cop was guilty of anything with Ms. Good in that zone. Holman ought to be in charge. Now, I don't think Trump's going to do it until it calms down with Kristi Noem as far as the pressure from Democrats to get her out of there. But you know in your heart of hearts, and I know, we'd be a lot better off with Tom Homan. And then you put Tom Homan's minion, whoever that is he trusts in charge as borders are that reports to him. And I think we're very effective. But what Fitzpatrick? And the gang of three, including the Republican, did in Bucks County today, is outrageous. How are we supposed to process people that ISIS apprehended or detain for their due process? How are we going to do that, Bucks County? But this is how the suburbs have changed. Now, Montgomery County, you would expect this, right? They've changed quite a while ago. Chester County, they would do it to. Delaware County is the most progressive of all. If people agree with that, Adam Bucks, yeah, we don't want that here. Okay, then. So even the worst of the worst, you don't want to be processed. You don't want to process in Bucks County. You don't want to hear them, even if it wasn't in an isolated spot in Bucks County, wherever they put it. All right, I'm coming to you next. Get us on the side question today. What's a difference? Well, there's really no difference. But I'll tell you what's at play here with Parker politically. And I think her instincts are not progressive. They're liberal, but not progressive. And why President Trump has not done anything here in Philadelphia yet, what would happen if he did? 855, 839, 1210. We may hear from Gerald Posner coming up, the guy who wrote the book that proved to me that Oswald did it. Big investigator now on this whole trans issue. Big news on that today. Wawa doesn't have a declining business model. The city of Philadelphia is the one with the declining business model. But, you know, there's so much here in Philadelphia that's just infrastructure, they can't screw it up that much, that they'll always be okay. But that's about all. So think about it. Wawa's declining. They can't handle Center City, Philadelphia. Is that the way to put this, or is that another sign of the decline of how bad Philadelphia is? They can't handle even one of their biggest boosters, one of the faces, Mount Rushmore of Philadelphia, Wawa. You know it, and I know it, and I know it better than anybody, Philadelphia Inquirer. Gerald Posner is a hero of mine, the brilliance of this guy over his career. Starting off when I first heard the name with the Lee Harvey Oswald situation and the definitive proof, every time I see a Robert F. Kennedy Jr. film, I saw the LBJ film on Netflix recently. If you're ever in Dallas, go to the museum, I think it's still there. You can stand, look through Plexiglass right behind where Lee Harvey Oswald shot. And I think it might give you a good perspective. But he has, over the years now, moved on to other things. And whatever he moves on to, the insight, the investigation is huge. And he was way ahead of the curve on the whole trans surgery, gender affirming care. And what we're seeing again today, New York City, Mark Siegel's Hospital announced they will not do any of that. Here in Philadelphia, though, the big guy, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia still is. Let's go to Gerald Posner here on Talk Radio 1210. Gerald, welcome back to Philadelphia. Thanks for joining today. Great, great to be back with you. And it's amazing that Children's Hospital in Philadelphia still has not sort of come into this reversal. You know, medical groups are finally realizing it to mistake. having, you know, this gender surgeries for young kids and places like you said, NYU Longone, fantastic today, but still not getting in Philly. What is it that drew you to this, that we've talked with you a lot about it over the last four or five years? What was the point where it peaked your interest to investigate, to write about it, think about it? So, you know, it was two things. When I finished my book on the pharmaceutical industry in 2020, one of the things I wasn't able to write about was how doctors are able to prescribe medications off label. So if you're a doctor, you can take something approved by the FDA and you can give it off label. And I wasn't able to have the room in that book to talk about puberty blockers, which are given out by doctors in gender medicine. It's a billion dollar a year business. They're not approved by the FDA. They're drugs used for the chemical castration of sex, you know, convicted sex molesters. And they're very, very powerful drugs. And they're still dispensed to 12, 13, and 14 year old kids to stop puberty. It always seemed to me there was a story there. And I just wanted to write one story, which I did in the Wall Street Journal called The Truth About Puberty Blockers back in 2023.

And that opened up the Pandora's box because I ended up hearing from parents. I ended up hearing from people who've gone through the process. I heard from families. And the same thing that drove me on the opioid crisis when I was writing about that, it becomes a human story. It becomes a story about people who... came out of it as parents and families and said, you know what, there's something wrong with the way medicine's approaching this issue when it comes to kids because our kids have been through it and they're now sorry about it, but they can't change anything because the changes made to them are permanent. That's what got my interest as a journalist. And Gerald, they were bludging to death and I think this might be part of the change. Well, if you don't do this, your kid is likely or somewhat likely to try to commit suicide. Boy, you know, you're exactly right. And that was used time and time again. People were told if parents hesitated at all in the process where their kids caught a contagion. They said, by the way, I think I'm a different gender. I'm in the wrong body. I want to change over. And 13 and 14 and 15 year old kids, by the way, have no idea about permanent consequences. They can't understand that the brain's not fully developed. So you as the parents say, by the way, let's slow this up a little bit. And guess what, the therapist, if they were a gender affirming activist, would say, oh, you can't do that. Because if you do that, you're going to end up with a dead child. The suicide rate's very high. And guess what? You won't be surprised when I tell you that that's been proven absolutely false. Right. The suicide rate is not higher. It's one of those falsehoods. It's a canard that's been repeated time and again and was used to sort of rush people, rush kids into the gender medical pipeline. Those parents, if anything else, should have lawsuits lining up against those practitioners. Well, to that point, the lawsuit of a couple million dollars for the psychologist and the doctor involved who seemed to be pretty cavalier at moving the kid quickly through this, that seems to have really now intensified what we're seeing. Are we at a tipping point now? Do you think? I was, Gerald, one of the biggest supporters of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. There were multiple cases. My son was in there when he was 18. We saw the 18 months. We saw the care up close and all that. And I still think a lot of that's there. But now it's clear they are flying in the face of science, of settled science, when people are moving like this, like we saw in New York today. Yeah, no, I think that's right. And you're absolutely correct when you say you can have a medical institution, a hospital that does great work, saves lives, is doing all types of good work on cancer care, on heart and everything else. And then they have this branch in gender identity. And it's hard to fathom the two. There was recently a $2 million verdict, the first of its kind, which was critical. But that really didn't decide the issue. The jury didn't have to decide. whether pediatric gender affirming care was correct or not. They decided that in that case, those clinicians had not followed any roles at all, and it sort of rushed the child in. But I do think that's an important case because it's going to start what I call the avalanche of cases eventually. One of the things that made the opioid crisis, the greatest prescription lethal drug crisis we had epidemic in American history, finally stopped.

was the tsunami of litigation against Purdue Pharma, against the Sacklers, against all the other opioid. So, you know, we all complain about trial lawyers. I'm a lawyer. I'm a non-practicing lawyer. And I know the trial lawyers and the plaintiffs bar and the class action lawyers can get a bad reputation. But to the extent that they're going to get involved in this area, I think that will be some of the things that slowed up. And we've seen the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. start to pull back. They've now said, oh, we're reversing the position on surgeries from minors. We don't think they should have that until they're 19. Now, beforehand, they had the foot on the pedal on the gas. And so we're still waiting for the American Society of Psychiatry and the psychologists. They're involved in the gateway doctors who sort of deal with this in terms of therapy. We're waiting for them to come around. But I think we are starting to see the tipping point, as you said. Next up for you, I have a thought for you. You probably have a bunch of projects there too, and maybe sometimes they're blocked. You know, they're not ready for it, and you can't break through. OZempic is fascinating to me. The number of people, we just saw Serena Williams in the Super Bowl with that. I don't think Serena Williams needs to do this, but there are side effects, there are things there, and we don't know enough. about that, this craze, this tipping point that's all over the place. Any thoughts on that? Have you looked at that at all? Yeah, you're absolutely right. And so, I mean, here's the problem. I know this is the DNA of the pharmaceutical industry is that there's always a new wonder drug. That wonder drug takes everybody, catches everybody up. In the 1960s, it was Valium, believe it or not. Everyone thought Valium was something that you could take as an anti-anxiety pill and there was no downside to it. It was absolutely fine. And then, you know, it took 10 years until you found out it was addictive. benzodiazepines had problems and everything else. The GLP1 drugs, all of these weight loss drugs, in instances in which somebody is really morbidly obese and they have all types of comorbidity, they've got diabetes, they've got high blood pressure, it can be a lifesaver. But people are taking it to lose 15 pounds, 20 pounds, to get in shape to go to some public event that they have at the Oscars or whatever else. It's been overprescribed without any doubt. And in three, four, five years, mark my words. I don't know what they are, but we'll be reading stories in newspapers and we'll be seeing them on the net and documentaries about the side effects that nobody knew existed. It's the way that the drug industry always works. You get a popular drug. It's overprescribed. People use it who really are on the borderline of using and maybe shouldn't. They think there's no downside at all. And then later you find out what those downsides are. So I think we're going to see that here. It's not to say, I'm not saying to people that these aren't drugs that can be helpful, but there are, without any doubt to me, there will be a series of side effects. We're starting to see some of them pop up, but the real ones are still down the road a little bit. What are you working on now, near future right now? What's Gerald Posner up to? What are you investigating thinking about?

You know, I wish that there were more hours in the day because sometimes it's like throwing a dart at the board. And what I mean by that, and you'll understand this completely. So I'm doing some work to try to find out the flow of money on these offshore banks. And who has been, who financed what I call the anti-Israel pro Hamas? demonstrations after October 7th, the foreign funding of those organizations that then turned into for a while the anti-Tesla, anti-Elon Musk, remember when that was the thing we were throwing more cocktails of that. Then it became the anti-ice. Now they've forgotten about Gaza for the moment, and except for Greta Thornburg, who's still on Gaza, they're all over to ice. And I'm trying to follow and put together. the funding behind that. So, you know, people think that means that I'm saying that the demonstrations are all fake. I'm not saying that. I'm saying they're fed. There are people who will take to the streets over a cause, but they're also directed and sort of fuel is added to the fire, especially in terms of foreign funding. So I'm trying to find that because I think the Department of Justice could then use some laws. to go after some of those groups. So that's my long-term project. But I keep getting distracted by things like the other day in the European Union, in the Parliament in Brussels. They took a vote 340 to 141 that approved a resolution. It's non-binding, but it sort of sets the tone that says trans women, who are really men, who identify as women, are really women. And then somebody said, you know, that doesn't sound very good. I don't think it makes sense. So let's put up a resolution to show we at least have some sanity. We will say that only women can become pregnant. They put that up as a resolution and it got defeated. So then I spent a couple of days writing about the insanity of that. So, you know, you talk about what I'm doing, but there are these side-track diversions from crazy news. Absolutely. What a throw it is to have you way back when with that to now. So where do we find you? Where do we follow, Gerald Posner on X or anywhere else? Where do we go? Yeah, I think X is where I probably comment more than anywhere else. It's just Gerald Posner. And I have a substack called Just the Facts. But X pretty much is where you'll see me wane in. Even complaining about things like today, I was complaining about the fact that the sheriff in the Nancy Guthrie case, everything else aside, terrible case. And we all feel horrible. You know, that Nancy Guthrie hasn't been found or they... and the perp hasn't been found. But I'd love to see the sheriff, instead of doing interviews with television stations, one by one, just hold a press conference if you're going to do it. Have a press conference, set all the reporters, ask you the question in an hour, done and out. And then you can go back to the investigations that are sort of this nonstop slow drip that's partially transparent, you know, interview by interview. So you go on X and you'll get my two cents for whatever it's worth about the day.

I don't know who's paying it, but okay. The more disturbing thing to me, does the 824 essentially mean that's relatively the cheapest seat, something like that, or close to it? And that's okay. We're a capitalist country. If you want to see Springsteen, X number of times, Christy will probably be there. Then...

He's running for two offices now to shake up the Republican Party. And every time we have him on, it's an avalanche of interest. He really's caught attention running statewide for something and in Philadelphia. He'll be in studio tomorrow at 1 o'clock, right, Henry? Yeah, he'll be here for one, yeah. And I'm not sure if he's testifying again tomorrow at City Council. But, oh, my good. I'll ask him about Cherell Parker Sanctuary City. Here's the exchange with Cherell Parker. Then I'll tell you the backstories to this. One, just an unbelievable rumor, even for Philadelphia, I've been told. Mikie Sherrill Parker is walking the line. She, look, substandard on the snow. But given the other Democrats that were involved here, she was a good choice. And you heard her with me and we wish she'd come back on all that stuff. But she has the police department, Bethel running, it's doing a good job. They're doing a good job. And she's soft peddling the sanctuary city, even though it is. I'm calling it a welcoming city and trying to stay away from the Trump situation, which I commend her for here in Philadelphia with ICE. This investigative reporter from NBC10 has been dogging her on this. I think she's more of an activist than a reporter. So yesterday, when you're able to ask the mayor anything, as I understand it, she asked her, what is the sanctuary city? That's what you're going to hear. Parker gets wound up in the response. But then I'll tell you the backstory that involves Trump and Krasner and the rumor. Here's how it sounded.

What does the term Sanctuary City mean to you, Mayor? What I want to tell you about Philadelphia, and this is extremely important, that you, Claudia, have been provided an answer. to the question that you just asked from our city solicitor. Philadelphia, that means the chief lawyer for the city of Philadelphia. Renee Garcia is our city solicitor. And what we are, the term we use to describe our city is that we are a welcoming city here. All right, now they go forward. There's more, but you get the point here, the battle over welcoming versus sanctuary. They are a sanctuary city. There was a period of time where Michael Nutter got out of that sort of. Then it went back. And Jim Kenny did that famous dance of his sanctuary city, sanctuary city with his minions. So it is a sanctuary city. It hasn't changed. It's a mob mentality. She's trying to not technically say sanctuary city so that the Trump administration, you know what's going on. Here's the backstory, though. If Trump is triggered by this, or there are five cities the president has named after Minnesota, after that winds down, California is definitely going to be one of them that they're looking at going into for massive operations. They are in Philadelphia. They have done stuff in Philadelphia, but if they do it in a more massive way, a big deal, Cheryl Parker knows that Larry Krasner and his minions believe. that Larry Krasner could defeat her, even though she's the incumbent, and it's rare. I'd have to go back and look at the last incumbent, even severely challenged, let alone losing, particularly someone historic, the first African-American female, and someone who, as I said, in my view, has done a good job, everything considered, the snow removal and all, though, deficient, and the post of that deficient, without a doubt. So, How does Krasner come in? Well, the play with Krasner is just about one thing, gone after Trump, threatening, ICE agents, hunt them down, put them in jail. If Trump, if they come here in a big way, I think definitively, Krasner is going to press this. Cheryl Parker is a liberal. in many ways, but she's not a progressive, and she's certainly not out there on the farthest end as this insufferable little man. He will then really position himself thinking the mob has a groundswell. They just want to get it Trump. I still think it's 50-50 that he'll run. Now, the rumor thing, I've heard two versions of this that are ridiculous. Trump is not going to send people here to Philadelphia because President Trump is afraid of the bad look since Philadelphia is the epicenter of the 250th anniversary and all that's going on. You know, the World Cup, Major League Baseball, All-Star. I hear the other one, though, is gaining steam, which is, no, Trump is just waiting to pounce on Philadelphia.

when we get closer to that to cause an unbelievable spectacle. I can't know what's in Trump's mind because he zigs and zags and all the rest of it. I don't see that, though. And I think Parker's situation here, and given how bad Minnesota is, how bad California is, Zohran Mamdani at some point, where's out is welcome. I think there are other targets other than Philadelphia. Not saying it can happen, but I wouldn't expect it's lower. And I would lean more toward Trump doesn't want to lean into. And I think Holman would say, yeah, do we really want to do this in Philadelphia during the issues around celebrating the 250th? And I don't think you'll see that play out. But those are the rumors, those are the things out there, and this trigger. So Parker looking at this for the good of Philadelphia and also looking at it in terms of our own politics with Larry Krasner, I think believing that he would and could do this. Now, for talk radio's sake, bring it on, Larry Krasner. I've had Mikie Sherrill Parker, as you know, debating these other Democrats. We did a big thing. We're proud of that. I think we got the best person out of all that, given what it is. It's Philadelphia. She would take Larry Krasner apart. And I think his minions, arrogance, out of control, I think they would cross even a racial line here, unknowingly. And you would see that play out. So I would predict she beats him. The unions, particularly the ones that count building trades, they're the ones who went after Krasner before. The history of this first African-American female that will not play well for Larry Krasner. But if President Trump comes here in a big way, watch this play out. All this with the backstory of this American citizen using everything great about America and then shilling for the communist Chinese. I don't know if anything I've seen when an athlete more unforgivable than this other than a criminal. in that it's one thing to do it. Say she did it for France. Sorry, we don't like it. How can an owner not think that competition is something that fans really want? Every game, they want to see that. I mean, I think, like, I don't know, I think Mark Cuban is just, at this point, I'm just going to start thinking like he just, like, wants to get, like, he wants to get attention. Like, this is little the most idiotic thing I've ever seen in my life. So, I mean, this happened to me when I was playing for the Knicks. You know, Coach Fitzdale called me in his room and said, listen, this is what happens when you're a good player, played in a bad team. From now, we're going to teach you. And I even told them, I'm like, dude, listen, I'm not getting paid millions of dollars to just go out there and lose the game. I'm going to compete every game. I don't care.

No, we've already been through that. That seems to be their solution to all this stuff. Let them go and they'll come back for the trial. No, they won't.
