The media is still trying to convince you that we don't yet know the ideological motive, or even if there was an ideological motive behind the assassination. Increasingly radicalized left-wing politics. We put together a quick montage. Robinson's mother explained that over the last year or so, Robinson had become more political and had started to lean more to the left. becoming more pro-gay and trans rights oriented. Robinson accused Kirk of spreading hate. When asked why he did it, Robinson explained there's too much evil and the guy referring to Charlie Kirk spreads too much hate. Robinson, why did I do it? Roommate, yeah.

Robinson, I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out. In other words, he viewed Charlie Kirk as an evil bigot, a fascist, who hated his trans boyfriend. He was in a gay relationship. He believed Kirk to be homophobic against him. This was personal to him as well as political. He was motivated in other words by the exact same leftist rhetoric that has become so commonplace in the era of Trump that most normal sane people have taken to tuning it out because Democrats regurgitate it so freely and so effortlessly. But someone like him who was spiraling into madness and evil. took that literally and said to himself, there's no way I'm going to be able to negotiate or argue or reason with this evil, with this hate. I need to confront it. I need to kill it. He was a leftist and he took the leftist position that political opponents are not just wrongheaded or ill-informed. that they are in fact evil, that they're fascists, that what they want is an end to freedom. For all Americans, they want to plunge this country into a new era of darkness, but especially for women, for minorities, for gays, for transgender people. And this is why we have a very real problem of left-wing political violence in this country coming up. In the 5 o'clock hour, you are not going to want to miss our deep dive into the assassination culture on the left. I sort of hinted at this yesterday with a survey from Rutgers University that showed 50% of self-identified liberals out of 1,200 who were surveyed from a representative sample of people, according to U.S. census data, 50%. said it was at least somewhat justifiable to assassinate Elon Musk. 56% said the same thing about... Donald Trump. That is a massive problem, ladies and gentlemen, and it is nowhere near a problem for both sides. In fact, as we will discuss later on in this, the three o'clock hour, the example that the left has been using since Kirk's assassination as a form of what about his. more commonly known as or the the more common name for the two quo quay logical fallacy that would be latin for but you two it's a way of sort of changing the subject and trying to prove that the opponent in a debate is logically inconsistent

So I don't think we see a real clear-cut ideology here. No, there's no political ideology. He just had a bunch of daddy issues that he was trying to work out by assassinating the best-known conservative activist in the country. That is supposedly an FBI expert on CNN. Jimmy Kimmel, the alleged humor host of the Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Kimmel Live, I believe it's called the ABC Late Night Show, was still trying to after all of the evidence came out. After all of the evidence that was painstakingly gone over. By the prosecuting attorney yesterday, he was still saying that this was a MAGA killer. We had some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. He was most certainly not one of the MAGA movement. The commissioner of the FCC went on the Benny Johnson podcast today and said that they are examining because ABC is a network broadcast that is covered by the Federal Communications Commission and does have, just like the radio stations that we broadcast this show on, it has a duty to report things that are not false, slanderous, and otherwise. just not true, that there was going to potentially be an investigation into what it was that Kimmel was attempting to get his viewers to believe. Still, the most ridiculous media deflection yet has got to be from Montel Williams. Remember him? The talk show host from the 90s has reemerged as a rabid left winger on social media, and that got him a spot on the CNN Tonight panel. Now, CNN Tonight is perhaps best known as the show where Scott Jennings just single-handedly pones an entire group of liberals who sit in stunned silence because they truly have no ability to counter any of his arguments. Montel said this killer was not motivated by hate for Charlie Kirk, but rather love for his transgender boyfriend. Talk about a love-torn child, a kid. This is probably his first real relationship, and somebody was disparaging the person that he loved. He sat on that building for 30 minutes before he took the shot. Why did he wait until the first word trans came up?

Then he took the shot. You think he heard it? He could hear it. I think he could hear it. I think he also, I don't believe he was motivated politically. I think this was motivated emotionally. Yes. This was an act of love. Now, I don't know, admittedly, what passes for romantic gestures in the transgender community. I would think a bouquet of roses would suffice. But instead, according to Montel Williams, the best way to show somebody you care is to assassinate somebody you both hate. Coming up in three minutes, a reporter forced to apologize for a love letter he wrote to the killer. Classical conservatism, contemporary style. It is the Dan O'Donnell show. Welcome back to it. Easily the most insane. And I mean that, truly, the most insane coverage of the press conference yesterday in which the Utah County prosecutor, Jeff Gray. announced that there was a clear left-wing motive that the killer, the assassin of Charlie Kirk, was rather obviously motivated by the fact that he had become increasingly radicalized in his left-wing political views and that he saw Charlie Kirk as the ultimate evil, a hateful monster who could not possibly be reasoned with, be argued with, be talked to, he needed to be killed. A prime motivating factor in this appears to be the realization by the killer as he grew up in a very conservative home in southwest Utah that he was gay. His radicalization also coincided with the romantic relationship that he started up with Lance Twigs, described as his roommate, but identified by prosecutors as his boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female. Now, the text messages that I don't think anyone really fully believes were written by a pair of 22-year-olds, because not only does the gunman, Robinson... take full blame for the assassination. He absolves not only the roommate, but also the crazy old man, George Zinn, who was screaming in what he describes as an attempt to help the real killer escape at the moment Charlie Kirk was shot that I shot him, I shot him, I shot him. He spontaneously decided to take the blame for murder to help somebody who he didn't know was going to shoot Kirk until the second before he started screaming. It seems all too weird, especially since a whole lot of transgender people.

were posting before the event that, quote, something was going to happen to Charlie Kirk on September 10th. Watch out. September 10th. Something big is going to happen. They were posting on X. They were posting on Instagram, on TikTok, and all of whom appeared to have at least some sort of contact with this gay roommate slash lover, the transgender Lance Twigs. They all appear to have been members of a discord group. which may have helped in the radicalization process for this killer. But in any event, easily, the most insane media coverage had to come from ABC News, where Matt Gutman, the reporter on the scene, was gushing. over the loving and tender messages that the assassin was sending to his transgender boy. It was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn't expect a very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect's roommate and the suspect himself with him repeatedly calling his roommate who was transitioning, calling him my love, and I want to protect you, my love. So it was this duality of someone who the attorney said not only jeopardized the of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case. And in the other hand, he was, you know, speaking so lovingly about his partner. Yes, it was, it was a real love story between the furry transgender. and the political assassin it was it was truly touching stuff now one could make the argument that gutman was just sort of carried away this was his initial live report after this press conference but ten minutes later he doubled down on the notion that the killer was just trying to protect his transgender boyfriend from the evil Charlie Kirk and any repercussions that might have come from him killing the evil Charlie Kirk. when they went to him for a second report from the scene of the press conference. I don't think I've ever experienced a press conference in which we've read text messages that are so fulsome, so robust, so apparently, allegedly self-incriminating, and yet on the other hand, so touching, right, with the suspect reaching out to his roommate, who is allegedly his boyfriend, who we understand, you know, identified as male at birth, now identifies as female. And the terminology he used. He was trying to protect him. He kept calling him my love. My reason for doing this is to protect you, you know, but also asking him to delete the messages and not speak to law enforcement. So there's this heartbreaking duality that we're seeing very tragically playing out. Yes, these two were just star-crossed lovers like Romeo and Romeo who wants to be Juliet. Well, this was so unhinged.

That Gutman actually took to Instagram this morning to apologize for it. Yesterday, he wrote, I tried to underscore the jarring contrast between this cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk, a man who dedicated his life to public dialogue, and the personal disturbing texts read aloud by the Utah County attorney at the press conference. I deeply regret that my words did not make that clear. But let there be zero doubt here. I unequivocally condemn this horrific crime in the pain. it caused Charlie Kirk's family, those who were forced to witness it at UVU, and the millions of people he inspired. I will bet you $100 right now, producer Eric. Matt Gutman did not write that himself. That was written by the ABC News PR department because they understood. just how awful that looked that this guy is waxing romantic to the point where people were wondering aloud whether he was getting sexually aroused by the idea of this guy frantically texting his transgender possibly furry boyfriend while he's trying to reclaim the rifle that he threw after assassinating a conservative political figure now one of the things that the left has done when it became clear and it became clear almost immediately i mean it became clear when charlie kirk was assassinated that this When people are asking, well, what was the motivation? What was the motivation? I'm fairly certain the motivation was killing Charlie Kirk. Just as we still don't know the motivation behind the guy who in Butler, Pennsylvania, tried to kill President Trump, the motive was killing President Trump. The political... motivation is sort of self-evident there but one of the things that the left has done and they have done this as so quickly and in such a widespread fashion both online and in traditional media, that it appears to be their latest attempt at salvaging some semblance of their political movement after it was just destroyed by an assassin's bullet by one of their deranged psychopaths who subscribe to the far-left ideology. the assassin of the Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, whom he killed back in July. There's no evidence whatsoever that he is a conservative, that he was motivated by opposition to the Democrats or support for President Trump and the Republicans. Stay tuned. That's coming up in five minutes. CBS News anchor Jeff Dickerson on Monday. was trying to convince viewers that there was no obvious political motive behind the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Five days after Charlie Kirk's murder, the shooter's motive remains elusive. No writings left behind, vague secondhand testimony. That uncertainty and the risk of drawing sweeping conclusions suggests the murder may share similarities with recent violence not driven by an obvious political ideology. he referred to this as political nihilism someone who is motivated yes by politics in a vague sense but not specific left-wing ideology Yeah, he was forced to walk that baby back almost as soon as the Utah County prosecutor gave his press conference saying that there was absolutely a left-wing political motive yesterday. It's also important to note that the charges were aggravated by the fact. This is now, according to Mr. Gray, they were aggravated by the fact that this was a political murder, that the aggravated murder was... committed because of Charlie Kurt's political views. Ah, that's still... wasn't good enough for Becca Ballant. She is a congresswoman from Vermont who said in a hearing with FBI director Kash Patel today that there's no clear ideology that underpinned the motivations for killing Charlie Kirk. What shouldn't be happening, however, is this administration's seeming attempt to exploit Mr. Kirk's death within minutes of this horrible... horrible assassination, dividing us even further without knowing enough about the killer's complicated, confused political ideology and the extent of his motivation. Ah, okay. We don't know now. As soon as I saw this soundbite cross my computer screen, I said, where do I know that name, Becca Ballant? I have a feeling that recently we were making fun of Becca Ballant for saying something so hilariously stupid that I replayed her saying it like three straight shows. Sure enough, here she was from a town hall meeting back in June saying that if we didn't have illegal aliens in this country, we wouldn't have anyone to...

Clean our rear ends. If we don't have avenues for people to come here legally to work or to build our home here, I'm going to be really true right now. We're not going to have anybody around to wipe our asses because we don't have enough people. I don't know how many people Congresswoman Ballant needs to... get her feeling charm and fresh, but I think it is an entire team, and I hope for her sake that Vermont continues to supply her with an adequate supply of illegal aliens and wet wipes. to take care of her business for her. But these are Democrats who are still saying, in spite of the available evidence, that there's no clear political motivation, that this gunman wasn't motivated by exactly what he said he was motivated by. And that's the fact that Charlie Kirk preaches hate. That's because Charlie Kirk is so evil and so hateful that he just can't be talked to. He can't be negotiated with. He must be killed. The motivation is clear. Now, what is simultaneously sprung up on the left is an effort to falsely claim that the assassination culture that appears to be on the rise in this country and that we'll dive into in the five o'clock hour is a both sides problem. And you've probably heard the name if you spent any time online, Melissa Hortman. She and her husband were killed in an attack in July by a deranged schizophrenic who also targeted a fellow Democrat state senator who survived. When the gunman's car was found, it contained a hit list of about 50 people, many of them Democrats, and many of them who were anti- pro-life. They were pro-abortion people, I should say. They were pro-choice people. Those weren't the only people on his hit list, folks. He had, in the past, according to friends, supported President Trump. He had gotten very religious and, in fact, did missionary work in the Congo. But what if I told you, in addition to the manifesto, that authorities also found a letter addressed to the FBI in which the gunman, JD Vance Belter, wrote that he had been secretly trained by the U.S. military and had participated in several overseas paramilitary missions.

quote, all in the line of what I thought I was doing right and was in the best interest in the United States. Later on in that letter, he claimed he had been approached by Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, who ordered him to kill the state's two U.S. senators, Democrats Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar, because, quote, Tim wants to be senator. This is, of course, nonsense. Tim Walz had nothing to do with this. In fact, coincidentally today, he just announced that he's running for re-election as governor. He was claiming, Belter was, that he was taking out, quote, anyone who stood in Tim Walz's way. Does that sound like someone who was motivated to kill a state senator because he was a rabid right winger? It most certainly does not. In fact, this is part and parcel of Belter's personality. According to many people who knew him, he would make wild, grandiose, and completely detached from reality claims about his life. He was a security contractor. He did extensive overseas military work. He worked in the food services industry. He also granted an interview to the New York Post in which he said that his entire manifesto was not leaked to the media, that they did not have the complete manifesto and that he was not motivated by Donald Trump. He was not motivated by right-wing politics. Of course, these are largely the ravings of a madman, but he was and is clearly a madman. Tyler Robinson concocted what appears to be a rather elaborate plot. to try to get away with murder, texting his lover, that if he was able to get away with the rifle, he said he regretted dropping the rifle, because if he was able to get away with the rifle, he would leave no trace. And he was fully planning to live with the secret that he was the one who assassinated Charlie Kirk until the two of them would grow old and die together. In his text messages, it certainly appears that he is intentionally trying to absolve of any blame whatsoever his gay lover. This shows someone who clearly plotted out this assassination. This was not someone who was just gone mentally.

and did not have any clear, discernible political philosophy as JD Vance Belter did. The man said, I was motivated. Tim Walz came up to me and said, you got to kill everybody who stands in my way. Tim Walz wants to be a senator. You got to kill Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith. This is not a sane human being. Tyler Robinson, Charlie Kirk's assassin, was asked, point blank by the lover, how long have you been planning this? He said, a week. The texts reveal him to be lucid, reveal him to be very conscientious in how he was planning this attack and his escape. In essence, the exact opposite of JD Vance Belter, who lost it one day and went on a wild killing spree. Yes, his targets were Democrats, but to suggest that he was motivated by right-wing politics is a lie. And there's also another big difference between the assassination of Melissa Hortman and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And that's the fact that there wasn't a single Republican anywhere who celebrated Melissa Hortman's death. And thousands, thousands of left-wingers aren't just getting caught celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. They're so ghoulish and they're so awful that they're actually being fired for what it was that they posted. You're listening to The Dan O'Donnell Show. I have a deep infatuation with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's stupidity because it makes the case for conservatism far better than I or even the late legendary Charlie Kirk ever could. Jasmine Crockett is now giving me Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez levels of heart palpitations. She was on the floor of Congress.

During the grilling of, what was it, it was at some hearing. I don't believe it was at the Kash Patel hearing. Actually, now that I think, yep, it was. It was at the Kash Patel hearing. She blamed the Charlie Kirk assassination. On the gun culture of the right. Please tell me who is fostering this gun culture, right? I mean, the reality is that the average person on the left probably couldn't make a shot from 200 yards because they haven't been playing with assault rifles since they were a little kid. Like that is just a reality of how people on the left typically work. Okay, never mind the fact that someone on the left actually did make that shot with that rifle at 200 yards. You see, most leftists aren't this violence and aren't this crazy because they're not raised in a gun culture. Now, Jasmine Crockett followed that up by saying something that so perfectly encapsulates the left's reflexive calls for gun control every time they can't blame a mass shooting or active terrorism or political assassination or attempted assassination on conservatives, that we need more laws. If we just had gun control laws. this crime wouldn't have happened this tragedy would not have occurred within 14 seconds she said we need more laws but then admits yeah i don't know if any of these laws would have stopped this assassin maybe we need to start talking about legislation that will keep these types of weapons out of certain people's hands. Now, whether or not this gentleman would have qualified under any type of laws that many of the Democrats have proposed, I don't know. Of course, she doesn't know. And ladies and gentlemen, this is why my heart is now a flutter for Jasmine. Jasmine Crockett's stupidity as well as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's. Stay tuned through the news right after exclusive new details about the suspect who crashed into and killed three people in Milwaukee during a police chase last night. Why, this has been brewing for years now and has now exploded into the tragic death of America's most prominent conservative activist. It was also a dark day in Milwaukee yesterday as three innocent people were killed by a 19-year-old suspect during a police chase. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, around 9.37 p.m.

Officers spotted a reckless driver in the area of 36th and right and attempted to make a stop. The driver refused to pull over and a pursuit ensued. The driver of the fleeing vehicle hit a car at the intersection of 35th and valet. Three adult occupants of the vehicle struck by the fleeing driver sustained fatal injuries. This was later updated as one of the victims was identified as a 15-year-old girl. She, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, is, excuse me, was, I'm sorry, according to the medical examiner's office, this was a 15-year-old boy named Carla Koumoo. He was also accompanied in that car by Ta-Mu-May, who was a 21-year-old man, also pronounced dead at the scene. And a 50-year-old woman named Plur-Mu also killed. Two additional occupants of the struck vehicles sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. This morning, both mps superintendent brenda cusilius and milwaukee's mayor cavalier johnson addressed the media johnson as per usual blamed everybody except the lenient court system for this tragedy. Some of the stuff is just senseless. It's just absolutely senseless. There's no cause for some of these things. And too often, as I pointed out, people's individual poor decisions end up with lives being lost. It happens far too often. And we need people to make better choices. And we need the adults in the lives of young people to do their job, to do their job. would that include both the prosecutors and judges in both wisconsin and indiana who failed to do their job as this suspect was on a multi-state crime spree yet somehow still out just days after he was granted bond in a different state. I can report exclusively that the 19-year-old suspect, who is now in police custody, is Travon L. Lawston. He is 19 years old. He was born in 2005. His criminal career started in Indiana, where, incidentally, his most recent address in Wisconsin Circuit Court online records put him, his criminal career started in Indiana in 2002 when he was just 16 or 17 years old. He was arrested and charged with any guesses?

Where do 99% of these people's criminal careers start? Car theft. The case dragged on and Lawston took off. He went to Wisconsin and took up residents apparently in Milwaukee, where he had to be extradited in 2023 in order to face criminal charges. Eventually, later on in 2023, he did get convicted in Indiana of car theft. He was sentenced to a year in jail. Good, right? Wrong. What did the judge immediately do? Give him credit for 20 days in jail already served and to, in fact, suspend the remainder of the sentence. In other words, he did no time. He was sentenced to no time in jail. The following year, In 2020, he's charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He has already got a felony conviction because of that car theft in Indiana. They actually treat that somewhat seriously, at least in the statutes. We have it as basically a glorified misdemeanor. No one ever goes to jail for car theft, or as we call it, operating a vehicle without the owner's consent here in Wisconsin. Lawston is a felon. Because of his felony conviction in Indiana, he's caught with a gun and, yes, resisting or obstructing an officer. He's released on $1,000 cash bond. He keeps going to hearings, and on March 19th, he reaches a plea deal with prosecutors, and a date for his plea hearing and sentencing is set for April 14th. On April 14th, however, both parties, the prosecution and the defense, are informed that the judge is unavailable for the plea and the sentencing, which is rescheduled for May 28th. It is then rescheduled again for September 3rd. There were apparently scheduling conflicts all over the place, not particularly out of the ordinary. So he's going to have his plea deal and his sentencing on September 3rd. He doesn't show up on September 3rd. Do you know why? Because he was in custody in Indiana for another...

unlawful carrying of a handgun by a felon in spite of this in spite of the fact that he has residences or at least he he has places where he can stay in two different states and within the past three years he's been committing crimes in two different states and is rather obviously a flight risk The judge, Jorge Fragoso, rescinds a bench warrant that he had issued when he didn't know that the suspect was in jail in Indiana. And he reinstates the $1,000 bond. Meanwhile... As this case is pending in Wisconsin, as the suspect knows, he's got a sentencing date and a plea hearing on September 3rd, he gets arrested and charged on August 26th back in Indiana with unlawful carrying of a handgun with a prior felony conviction within the last 15 years. This is the Wisconsin of the Indiana equivalent to Wisconsin's felon in possession of a firearm he is also charged with resisting law enforcement through the use of a motor vehicle meaning he tried to run away and he's also hit with possession of marijuana which apparently in indiana they still charge you with unlike here in wisconsin He is out on surety bond, meaning, so we don't have bail bonds in Wisconsin. We don't have a third part, the ability for a third party to be able to put up bond and then you owe the money to the bail bondsman. We don't have bail bonds in Wisconsin. So they do have them in Indiana. So a bail bondsman covers the surety bond and. Travon Lawston is free. He actually shows up for a hearing on this case in Indiana on September 10th. That's last Wednesday. It's a week ago. Last night, September 16th, he's back in Milwaukee. doing the exact same thing he has always done running from the police because I'm willing to wager when the charges are announced he's got a handgun, he's got a firearm, he's got drugs, he's got something that he wasn't supposed to have. In both Wisconsin and in Indiana, where both courts should reasonably know, hey, this guy is absolutely a flight risk. Hey, this guy absolutely should not be out on the streets. He was over and over again. And the only reason that this guy did not commit more and more and more crimes is because he was only 19 years old. Now, juvenile records are sealed.

every state. So I'm guessing that he had an extensive juvenile record in either Indiana or Wisconsin or both. And in spite of this, he is still allowed to roam the streets where he takes off from police and crashes into an innocent family where he injures two people and kills three. And we have a mayor of Milwaukee who is saying, well, you know, it's on all of you, all of you people, you need to do your jobs. Now, on some level, I actually do agree with Mayor Chevy. It is incumbent on every parent of every little scumbag like Trevon L. Lawston. to try to rein them in, but the reality is there is so much dysfunction in Milwaukee's inner city, in most inner cities. I'm taking a wild guess wherever this guy grew up. Was it Muncie, Indiana? Wherever grew up in Indiana, I can't quite piece together because, again, I don't have access to juvenile records where he primarily grew up, where his primary residence actually was. I've led to believe it was Indiana, but he's here often enough. committing crimes. He's just let off with a slap on the wrist. We pretend that car theft, that possession of a firearm by a felon, resisting or obstructing an officer, that these aren't serious crimes that should require this guy to be in jail. If he was remanded to custody or if he was forced to pay maybe a higher amount than a thousand bucks, which always raises the question, how do these folks get this money when they're constantly pleading indigency, meaning they can't afford an attorney so they need to get a public defender? How are they able to come up with $1,000, $5,000, $7,000, whatever it is? When you are resisting or obstructing an officer, that charge or bail jumping should automatically mean higher bail or no bail or at least some conditions that make it very likely that you're not going to be out committing new crimes. A couple of years ago, voters in Wisconsin amended the state's constitution to make it easier to impose higher bails for this exact reason. Because our streets are so dangerous because there are so many Trayvon Lawston's running around, driving around, waving around guns, driving recklessly, running from the police.

and endangering innocent people like a poor family that lost their lives last night because we have a city culture, we have a law enforcement and criminal justice culture, and we have a broader culture that are perfectly fine with this. It happens over and over and over again. An 11-year-old kid got shot in Milwaukee last night, 11 years old. How many kids need to die before we accept the fact that there are people who are in our community, who are committing crimes over and over again, who have no right and no business being there? I'm willing to wager when we figure out who this suspect is in the shooting of the 11-year-old that we're also going to find someone with a ton of priors. More likely than not, he was out on bail, and yet we get the same pap from the mayor. We get the same pap. from the county executive who's now running for governor. We get the same pap from everybody about how we all need to chip in and do our part and ensure that this sort of thing never happens again when the people who actually can ensure that it never happens again are the ones who are abdicating any and all responsibility. Hey, speaking of that governor's race. One of the truly craziest Democrats in the state announced that she is running, and she's running with largely the same message that everyone she disagrees with is a fascist that motivated Charlie Kirk's assassin. I don't even know what to say anymore. Truly. Truly. As Democrats across the country are imploring mostly Republicans to tone down the rhetoric in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination, one Democrat who has made a career out of being completely and totally repugnant. is ratcheting up the rhetoric. Her name is Francesca Hong. She is a far-left, and I mean far-left socialist Democrat member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Yesterday, she announced that she's running for governor. She did so in a text message to supporters in which she used the exact same, all my opponents are fascists and evil rhetoric that rather obviously motivated the killer of Charlie Kirk. She is also very foul-mouthed. This is a thing that Democrat focus groups are telling Democrat politicians to do. You need to swear more. so that your insane constituent base knows that you care about standing up to the fascist Trump. That is seriously a thing. Over the summer, there was some leaked talking points or leaked strategy memos for the Democrats. And one of the things they said is, no, we need to swear more. Now, this appears to be par for the course for Madison Democrats who just can't stop. saying things like Charlie Kirk deserved what he got in an interview with C-SPAN yesterday. Wisconsin Congressman Mark Pocan said just that. Charlie Kirk said a lot of things that people consider very awful towards other people because he had, I would say, an extremist viewpoint. But among... that group of extremists, he was extremely popular. And right now you're seeing a bit of a rewriting of history, but if they really put down some of the things he said about different groups of people, you may not have the same perspective that people are trying to put out there right now. First of all, There was just a Washington Post columnist by the name of Karen Ataya who had to be fired because she lied about what it was that Charlie Kirk actually said. She posted a quote that she attributed to Kirk saying that black women only got where they are because they took a more competent white man's spot and they lack the intellectual capacity to compete fairly with white men. That sounds pretty terrible, right? That's like objectively, terribly, horribly racist. Why was Karen Attaya fired for posting an accurate quote about Charlie Kirk that proves beyond any reasonable doubt that Charlie Kirk was racist because he never actually said that? He was talking about specific black women, I believe Joy Reid in particular, who did say herself back in 2023 that she only got into Harvard because of DEI. Attaya left that part out in an effort to paint Charlie Kirk as being racist, as being bigoted, as being hateful. In other words, of being the exact thing that his assassin believed him to be and believed that he had to kill him because he was saying those things. Now, in that same interview, as we first reported yesterday...

Pocan didn't stop at saying, well, Charlie Kirk had it coming because even amongst the extremists on the right, he was extremely extreme. He actually said that this would be Republicans Reichstag fire moment and that they would use this to erode civil rights and crack down on liberal dissent. Do you think we throw around Nazi too often? Probably, but also I think it's really important people know their history because if you know the history of what happened, you'll know there were certain events that sparked overreactions. And what we don't want to happen is that ever to happen again. And right now, you could see an overreaction to an incident like this that could not be good for the country. He's obviously referring to the Reichstag fire. 1933, about four weeks after Hitler was elected chancellor and he rose to power, there was a fire at the Reichstag building, which housed the German parliament. Hitler used that. He blamed the Communist Party in Germany for this, and he used that to crack down on free speech, freedom of association, freedom of the press, all of the rights that were granted in the Weimar Republic under the Weimar Constitution, and he basically used the Reichstag fire to make himself a dictator. It wasn't the Communist Party. In fact, a lot of people believe, and I'm not sure if it was ever definitively proven, that the Nazis themselves started that fire in a false flag operation to frame the communists so that Hitler would be able to seize authoritarian control of the country. That's beside the point. What Pocan is saying is that, yes, we do throw around the word Nazi too much when we talk about the Trump administration. We throw around the word fascist too much because they use them interchangeably. Just like Francesca Hong is saying the Trump regime is a fascist regime. This is a Nazi regime. Pocan is freely admitting, yes, we throw around the term Nazi way too often, but just watch how those Republicans act like Nazis and crack down on all of our rights using the Charlie Kirk assassination as their Reichstag fire moment. This might actually be. The single worst thing any elected official has said in the wake of Kirk's assassination. Not only is he doubling down on the same rhetoric that very obviously inspired the killer, he's saying completely baselessly.

In an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Berrien said today that he would not fire state workers who criticize Charlie Kirk in social media posts, saying he is an advocate for free speech. Now, this is... About as sanitized as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel could make what's happening in left-wing social media. They're not just criticizing Charlie Kirk. They are openly celebrating the fact that he was shot in the neck and killed last week. This violates, as my friends Clay and Buck put it, the basic standards of humanity, let alone decency. Berrien said, I'm a big believer in the First Amendment and I'm a big believer in the Second Amendment. Something Charlie Kirk was very passionate about was free speech. So firing anyone for free speech would not be part of my vision. When asked if he would fire people from his own company if they celebrated the assassination, Barry and a Whitefish Bay manufacturing CEO didn't explicitly say whether he would fire someone over social media posts about Kirk's September 10th death and that his heart goes out to the conservative activists family. Would he be able to claim free speech? No, that would be sexual harassment? Let's say someone was posting something that is so objectively awful. Let's say he was posting from a government computer with a government email or even from his own personal Facebook. Is there any leftist out there? who would disagree with the government firing somebody who called George Floyd the N-word or who used the N-word or who engaged in any sort of racist speech. Now,

Could that be so awful that your government agency that employs you says, look, you are not a sane person, let alone someone that we want to represent us in the digital sphere in. interpersonal relationships. How far have our standards of decency fallen that now we just sort of accept that when a conservative dies, whether it's Charlie Kirk or Rush Limbaugh or Antonin Scalia, there is going to be not just dancing on the grave, but also a bloodlust from the left demanding more sacrifices to the altar of anti-fascism. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers were called to the 5500 block of North 68th Street around 645 p.m. This was Monday. I apologize. It was Monday not... Yesterday, Monday evening. The child was transported to Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Dion Sergeant. Police said a 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the shooting, which they said was the result of a robbery. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. Here are exclusive new details via law enforcement sources. The gun was the 11 year old boys. He was the one who was carrying it while he was walking outside. It is believed that he may have known the suspect, the 13 year old boy. The 13-year-old attempted to take the gun from the 11-year-old and steal it. So this was a robbery. It is being investigated as a robbery. But it was a robbery of the gun that the 11-year-old was walking around outside with. The gun goes off during the struggle. The 11-year-old was shot in the head. That is the fact. Those are the facts that police are going on. Why in the hell was an 11-year-old boy walking around with a handgun? I have a daughter who just turned 11 years old.

Granted, she's a girl. She'd be terrified of that. I would be horrified. I don't even let her out sharp scissors. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. She's actually shockingly responsible than her older brothers in many respects. Then again, her older brothers are teenagers, so go figure. an 11-year-old girl, my nephew and my niece, I have a niece and nephew who are both 13 years old. This would be, I want you to think about a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old in your life. Just picture them, now picture them walking around the streets of your neighborhood, brandishing a handgun. A 13-year-old kid coming up saying, that's a cool handgun. I'm going to steal it. They struggle over it. And the 11-year-old is shot in the head.

None of these details are official, but they are true per multiple law enforcement sources. That is the latest on the investigation. It is entirely possible, therefore, that this is not going to be a case in which the 13-year-old is charged as an adult. He is very likely going to be charged as a juvenile. It is not likely to be first-degree intentional homicide that this wasn't. as the Milwaukee Police Department inferred, a case in which the 13-year-old came up with a gun, tried to steal money or to an 11-year-old kid, candy from the younger boy. It was the older boy saw a gun and saw an opportunity to steal the gun when it went off and killed an 11-year-old boy. Folks, I feel like I say this more often than usual, but I am just about speechless at this. Yesterday, we reported exclusively that today's Assembly Ways and Means Committee public hearing had to be canceled because of death threats that were sent to the committee's chairman Jerry O'Connor. O'Connor is a representative, a Republican from Fondalac, who last week made a speech on the 24th anniversary of 9-11 as the Assembly was debating a bill that would allow only the Wisconsin flag and the American flag to fly over the state capital and at state buildings. Why did he get death threats over that speech? Why did he go viral on blue sky and on other dark corners of left-wing social media, including Reddit? Because a blog called Crooks and Liars.com took a section of his speech out of context. And slapped this headline on it, GOP lawmaker, pride flag is cause of 9-11 and Kirk's death. The subheader, Wisconsin State Rep Jerry O'Connor blames the LGBTQ pride flag for the September 11th terrorist attack and Charlie Kirk's death. The article written by a longtime leftist hack named Chris Kapper Liebenthal is as follows. On Thursday, the Wisconsin Assembly were discussing a bill. That's incorrect grammar. The Wisconsin Assembly was discussing a bill. The Wisconsin Assembly were discussing a bill that would ban any flags other than the American flag and the state flag to be flown over government buildings. For the past several years, Governor Tony Evers has flown a pride flag over the state Capitol building, and this simple act of respect has pissed off the Republicans to no end.

State rep Jerry O'Connor spoke in favor of the ban, blaming the pride flag for both the 9-11 terror attacks and the death of Charlie Kirk. O'Connor never quite explained just how showing respect and acknowledging the existence of a whole group of people is divisive or hateful, and his statements are pure projection. Including people in acknowledging their existence isn't divisive or hateful, not wanting to acknowledge them is hateful and divisive, not to mention petty and irrational. Liebenthal actually includes a one minute and 22 second video clip of O'Connor's speech, which, remember, he says, is Jerry O'Connor saying the Pride flag caused 9-11 and Charlie Kirk's death? I've got that clip. He says nothing of the sort, and it's not even close. This might be one of the most disgusting lies yet said about Charlie Kirk's assassination, and it now has led to death threats because this irresponsible piece of trash masquerading as a wannabe journalist Chris Kapper Liebenthal is honest to God, recklessly. And truly, this is like the epitome of defamation. This is if Jerry O'Connor, even as a public figure, wanted to sue Chris Liebenthal for defamation, he would have one hell of a case because he's gotten death threats. So serious, in fact, that the Capitol Police Department is investigating. And today's Ways and Means Committee public hearing that he was set to chair had to be canceled. Here is what Jerry O'Connor said. According to Crooks and Boy, how appropriate is this blog name Crooks and Liars? Emphasis on Liars. The liar being the piece of trash, Chris Liebenthal, for publishing this lie. This is what he claims was Jerry O'Connor, saying the pride flag caused 9-11 in Charlie Kirk's assassination. Today's remembrance, and it's also a new day of sadness. So on September 11th, we are acknowledging those who lost their lives in Washington and in D.C. 24 years ago. And then yesterday we were struck with a political assassination. These two events have something in common. Those that hate the standards and the principles and the founding institutions that we have in America. So you move from what's too often political dialogue. That moves to political rhetoric, and there are those extreme cases where it leads to hatred and to murder.

That's not the role that the government should be a part of as elected officials. Here in Wisconsin, we need to act. We need to be the ones who lead by setting aside political and partisan differences. Stop the gaslighting. Stop the hateful rhetoric. And stop the excessive division. Today we've heard various testimony that objects to this bill as if it's the cause of division when it is quite the opposite. It's to stop causing division. The claim was that that one minute and 22 second segment of a speech, exactly because it was embedded with this blog post. That that was interpreted to mean Jerry O'Connor says the pride flag did 9-11. I honestly believe the author of this piece might be mentally challenged, which would be the only possible justification for posting something like this. The headline, I will remind you, is GOP lawmakers says pride flag is cause of 9-11 and Kirk's death. Wisconsin State Rep. Jerry O'Connor blames the LGBTQ pride flag for the September 11th terrorist attack in Charlie Kirk's death. Was there anything in that one minute and 22-second soundbite that remember the blogger Chris Liebenthal? who is a Wisconsin guy. You might remember him. He was a Milwaukee County employee back in the day who was fired for posting incendiary stuff like this about Scott Walker and other Republicans. He was eventually given his job back. I assume he is retired now and still sucking off the public teat with a sweet, sweet county pension. He mostly... Actually, believe it or not, spends much of his time trolling me and other conservatives on X, posting much the same stuff like, you're all fascists that embodied the Kirk Assassin's worldview. But on this... This is a clear effort to get a hate mob to rein down the exact same sort of death threats that actually came Jerry O'Connor's way on a man who said nothing even remotely close to the Pride flag clause 9-11. Absolutely. I would say irresponsible journalism. But my goodness, this is the furthest thing from journalism. If I were Jerry O'Connor, truly, I would be looking into suing crooks and liars and suing.

Chris Liebenthal, because this was clearly posted with a reckless disregard for the truth. He said, we all need to come together, and people are saying this bill, which would ban the pride flag, or any flag that's not the flag of Wisconsin or flag of the United States from flying above state buildings, this bill is divisive. No, what we're trying to stop is the divisiveness of, say, flying the NRA flag. Let's say that governor... Dan O'Donnell someday wanted to fly the NRA flag. Would that fly or would that be considered divisive? That's what he was saying. Not the pride flag did 9-11. What absolute defamatory garbage. I'd say I expected more from the left, but honestly, I don't think I could possibly expect less. We will dive into the assassination culture on the left, featuring some truly awful statements by some of the worst, yet also most influential streamers on the political left, people who stream themselves playing video games or just talking about politics and whatever, on Twitch, on YouTube. Their names are Hassan. Hasan Piker that actually is his real name and yes he is by all accounts a Hasan Piker and destiny which is his handle we played a sound bite from him yesterday well today during one of his streams he said something that is just so cold, so heartless, and so awful about his own parents, that one wonders if he himself might actually be a homicidal maniac. When the parade happened, that was just, it was... Within a week or so of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. No, it was two days. It was two days after, Brian. The verdict came in on Friday afternoon, and the Waukesha Parade Massacre was that Sunday evening. Yeah.

I'm conflicted right now. So we've all seen the app online, the very vile stuff. I saw one today again, and it was a comment on a, I won't say that, it was a comment on a news article regarding the vigil in Waukesha. And it was one of these things you see, one of these, you know, cynicism-based, sarcastic, you know, nose-up in the air type comments. If somebody marked themselves safe from having to show empathy for Charlie Perk. It pisses me off. Now, this situation isn't as vile as some of the other ones. It's not encouraging violence, but it would make me mad. And I'm very conflicted. Like, through the last week, I've gone through the ringer, just like a lot of people have in terms of emotions, angry, sad, optimistic, and just frustrated. I'm really not sure. I was able to track down this guy's information. Okay. share that but I'm conflicted as to whether or not to report this and along with that you know I do believe in the idea of freedom of speech but that doesn't mean freedom of consequence I guess if we do this if we are making people pay in terms of consequence for vile things, are we potentially just fomenting more hate and are we making it tougher for us to come together? Because at this point in time, more than anything, we need to get past this nonsense somehow. And I was optimistic that maybe this could be another case in which we could finally do that. But clearly, it's three days after, I'm sorry, a week after, and this guy posts this, again, not the most vile thing. still vile enough. So I'm not sure what your thoughts are on that. Well, my first thought is congratulations, Brian, because you have a soul, a heart, and a conscience saying, hey, what should I do here? This isn't the most vile thing. This isn't, you know, a graphic piece of art of Charlie being shot in the neck. This isn't someone dancing and cheering and clapping over the assassination of an innocent man. This is just cynical snark. And what you're referring to is obviously one of those little Facebook things like marked safe from the flooding in Milwaukee would be the most recent example, where during times of mass disaster, people can just post on their Facebook page to quickly let family and friends know that they're safe. So it's been a common meme since Facebook introduced this to say marked safe from... you know, thinking the bears are going to go to the playoffs this year or something like that. You know, it's used for humor. You're right. As far as things go, is this something where it's worth it to go to this guy's employer and say, hey, look what he's posting? No, this would actually be one where I say, look, this is. a legitimate opinion. It's a cold-hearted callous one. It's one that reveals this person to be a left-wing bleep lord. But is it so gruesome? Is it so awful? Is it just so violative of contemporary societal standards that...

It should result in some sort of career or personal consequence. No. In fact, what I would most likely do, and if you can tell me the news station's Facebook page, I actually will do this. And I will put together a graphic that says, marked safe from having to give a bleep what you think, right? Like, you know, that would be my response. Like, respond to that snark. with snark and this is what i'm talking about with respect to proportional responses in terms of when we're talking about someone's speech when we're talking about someone's opinions is it a legitimate opinion to say in a well-reasoned well-written hey look I am not particularly sad or moved about Charlie Kirk's death. I found him to be a repugnant person. I despised his point of view. I think it's obviously tragic that he was killed, possibly in front of his wife and children, and they're going to have to grow up without a father, and she is now a widow at the age of 30 or 31, or however old she is. That is something that, again, is terrible. But I've seen, I've almost become numb to it with all of the people on social media, Facebook in particular, where they're just so comfortable. telling you who they dislike, who they hate, how they don't care, how they just lack the sort of empathy that you would almost expect from a human being, that they never learned the lesson that most of us did when we were six years old. If you don't have something nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all. They have to say how much they hated the person who died, how much they don't care that the person who died is dead, that they're glad that the person who died is dead. And it really is saying something, Brian, that you and I are sitting here talking about a post like that as being, when compared to all of the other goolishness from the left, that post being not that bad. Joe Flint, media reporter with the Wall Street Journal, the first to report, that the move comes as ABC affiliate groups, including Next Star, told the network that they would be dropping the host after he said this on last night show. identifying the assassin of Charlie Kirk as a MAGA supporter instead of the leftist that he was. Nextar Media Group today announced that the companies owned and partnered television stations affiliated with the ABC Network will preempt Jimmy Kimmel live for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight's show. Next Star strongly objects to the recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel. concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC affiliates, affiliated markets. Andrew Alford, president of NextStars Broadcasting Division, said Mr. Kimmel's comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are. located so easily the biggest example of, I guess you would call F-A-F-O, bleep around and find out, but really consequence culture that, what do you mean?
