So what's coming up on the program? We have the text messages. released from the killer of Charlie Kirk to his transferey boyfriend. There's something up with those text messages. It looks like the two of them maybe planned this exchange. In my opinion, I shot it off to a couple of police officers that I know. And I said, you know, you're a cop. What do you think? And most of them thought it just did seem a little bit staged.
The texting seemed staged. But anyway, I will go over some of the elements in those text messages where basically Tyler Robinson admits he killed Charlie Kirk. And the media reaction to it, which is, I mean, it's bizarre. It's unsurprising, but it's, you know, it's. Of course, they had to find a way not to say this was left-wing political violence. But anyway, all of that's coming up on the program. We'll talk more about the FBI investigation, including what this whole discord thing is. Some of us in the... in the generations that are, you know, not quite Methuselah old, but getting up there, say like Gen X, we still think we're cool, but let's face it, most of us are seeing chiropractors regularly now. We don't get all of this stuff, so I'm going to have Kalin Dees from Washington Examiner start by walking people through what this whole discord social platform is all about, but then also the FBI investigation. All right, but here's where we're going to start. Tom Tiffany's coming up, too. Here's where we're going to start. I, you know, I was just having conversations with a couple of people in the hallway here before the show started. You know, how's it going? You always ask, how's it going? And, you know, oh, great, is usually the answer. But now you can't say that because, you know, you just kind of, it's kind of dark, you know? Things are kind of dark. And I had a conversation with someone in her building who's got a family member who knew Charlie Kirk really, really well. And so things are dark for his family, you know? So. I'm guessing there are people out there just feeling a little dark, so I need to make you feel better. That's what this is about, okay? I'm going to give you one minute and 28 seconds of pure schadenfreude. That's what I'm going to do. Just because I love you, this is a minute 28. It should make you want to... High five, your maga friends. Okay, this is Kash Patel yesterday. There are so many great moments of Kash Patel yesterday. But the best, I'm H.O. is his exchange with Adam Schiff. Cory Booker was great. It's not as easy to understand on audio only. You've got to kind of see it. But the Adam Schiff takedown was so brilliant. This is what it felt like. You know, think about Roadrunner cartoons. All right. This is like, this is like Adam Schiff being Wiley Coyote. And he puts the TNT all around. And then he's got the plunger. You know, he's rolled out the detonation cord. He's got the plunger. And then he detonates himself. It's like I was like I was watching a cartoon. It's absolutely a blast to actually go see the video of this, but I think the audio translates. Well, this is just to put you in a better mood for the rest of the day here is Kash Patel in his epic takedown of Adam Schiff. Think they're stupid? No.
I think the American people believe the truth, that I'm not in the weeds on the everyday movements of inmates. What I am doing is protecting this country, providing historic... and combating the weaponization of intelligence by the likes of you. And we have countlessly proven you to be a liar in Russia, in January 6th, you are the biggest fraud to ever sit in the United States Senate, your disgrace to this institution, and an utter coward. I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised that you continue to lie from your perch and put on a show so you can go raise money for your charade. You are a political buffoon at best. Well, you can take... An internet troll. Take it to the bank that the FBI is protecting this country and the state and citizens of the California. We are bringing historic reform. But all you care about is a child sex predator that was prosecuted by a prior administration and the Obama Justice Department and the Biden Justice Department did squat. And what did President Trump do? Bring new charges courageously. And what have we done? Chairman, take control the situation. You said I'm the most transparent FBI director in history. 33,000 pages of information to you. I challenge you to say anything credibly to the truth. Go ahead and run to the cameras where you want to go now. Be quiet.
Didn't you just kind of feel it? I was, I was feeling it. You know, Kash Patel was, you know, every conservative, at least in media, in that moment where we're, here's the gavel, you know, point of order, shut up. It was a piece of performance art for the Democrats, and they suck at it. I mean, they're like, they're not even good enough to be understudies on the stage. They just get out there and they try to pretend that they're talented. And there's Kash Patel holding a master class and how to do these show hearings by shoving it down Adam's throat, Adam Schiff's throat and making him absolutely. butter and choke on it. Like I said, if you watch his face, it's like he's Wiley Coyote. And he thinks he's going to blow up the roadrunner finally. And he blows himself up. Metaphorically, of course, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to take a break. Congressman Tom Tiffany is going to join me in just a moment. Oh, we're live. Okay, that's a good, good thing to let.
We're live. Yes? Okay. Brandon, you got to get me, you got to give me some kind of cue there. I'm just going to be chatting in the studio, just chatting in the studio, dropping profanities, you know, getting us FCC fines, things like that. All right. Sorry, folks. Every now and again, professional radio. goes this way. Okay. Congressman Tom Tiffany is standing by, and I'm very pleased to have him on the phone, I think. Hi, Tom. Hey, I'm with you, Vicki. Sorry, I'm a minute later. You're a minute late. I didn't know my mic was live, you know. All right, Congressman Tom Tiffany, thank you for being on the show. So, um, I, but. I'm going to let you just kind of share, okay? I just want you to sort of react to the last six days, what you've seen, a judge in Iron County, essentially telling people who come before him as a circuit court judge, you're not going to get objective justice. You know, things like that. I mean, I just want to kind of first let you react, and then I want to talk about some of the things that I saw during the hearings yesterday. So I... First of all, I just think it's really important, and it's very heartwarming to see people celebrating Charlie Kirk's life all across the country at these get-togethers and celebrations of life and just memorials and all the rest because he truly made a big impact in America. And there's a lot of people of our generation, Vicki, that don't understand the impact that Charlie Kirk had on young people. But this is real. what has been going on now for a week will continue because these young people were greatly impacted. And it's because he celebrated Jesus in his life. He went back. I mean, we've seen a diminishment of faith and going to church here in America over the last 50 years. That's, you know, it's a fact. And he believed that we needed to restore that. And he lived that. via his work and his family. But he also went to college campuses. I mean, he went to the belly of the beast. The place where you saw so much of this diminishment of religion in American life happened as a result of the teachings on college campuses. And he said, I'm going to go to those college campuses and celebrate my faith and be in a place that with small liberal America of the last 250 years, small L liberal America over the last 250 years, college campuses have always been a place that you can debate the issues and you can have disagreement via debate rather than the end of a gun. And he believed. that we can continue to do that in America. Yeah. And he provided a great service to up America. I think it's going to pay, I think his legacy will pay positive dividends for a very long time, and that's mostly because he led with God. He didn't lead with politics. His principles followed from his biblical beliefs. Now, as you were saying that...
I was thinking we're not, you know, the political violence that now is enthusiastic, it's just plainly enthusiastically endorsed by the left, which comprises the modern American Democratic Party. Now, you're not supposed to say that. It's mean, right? But it's true. You have got people cheering on Luigi Mangione. You've got people cheering on the death of Charlie Kirk. You've got people feeling empowered. You've got judges in Iron County feeling empowered. You've got teachers in Milwaukee feeling empowered. Empowered to, you know, to mock. the murder, to excuse the murder, or to justify the murder in some way or another. So that's the modern Democratic Party. I'm sorry. It is, I haven't seen the teachers union try to rein in the abusive rhetoric that teachers are sharing with their students, including one in Milwaukee that we saw, another one in Lake Mills. They're the judge in Iron County who's citing the slander from left-wing sources to justify his derision for people who want to mourn the legacy of Charlie Kirk. And so that gets us to their ease with which they excuse the – I will call it political government violence against the people, although it's not at the barrel of a gun, but it would be. at the end of handcuffs and behind jail cells, if possible. I'm looking at the Arctic frost stuff that came out yesterday. I mean, we are in a nation where 50% of this country believes that political enemy should be punished by death, imprisonment, or financial ruin. So, you know, as someone who has served in Congress for a number of years now, but you were also in the state legislature and knowing that it's both a federal and a state and a cultural problem. You know, I ask you to weigh in on that. I think the reckoning is here, and people are going to have to decide, is this acceptable to just accuse your political opponents of being fascist and therefore anything goes? Because that's really where we're at. And the Manjeon story is just unbelievable. The people that are celebrating this yet that someone would just in cold blood murder someone. And by the way, they got the wrong target because the guy's company that he was running was just reacting to a law change here in Washington, D.C. called Obamacare. That is how this came about is as a result of a law change. And yet you have those on the left, including the political left, that... they will not take responsibility for the fact that they passed the law. And that's how this came about. They knew the insurance companies were going to be in this role, yet they sit here and say, yeah, the insurance companies are the bad guys. Well, that's not it. You passed the law that led to what happened. Yeah, to let the policy. With the insurance companies becoming so, so huge. But I do think that the reckoning is here. the American people are going to decide. Are we going to, you know, we're going to be Venezuela, we're going to be China, Russia, or whatever. Are we going to continue to be a free country where you can express your beliefs without having to be, without having your life end at the end of a gun? I mean, remember, he's the police, majority leave, shot up by a Bernie Sanders supporter. President Trump, they attempted to assassinate him.
Thank the Lord he turned his head right when he did. Well, Charlie Kirk didn't turn his head at the right time, and unfortunately. He's dead at the hands of someone who was indoctrinated in our educational system in America. Listen, years and years and years of the J6 was an insurrection. Anybody who challenged the results in battleground states in the 2020 election is an election denier. As a fraudster, has to go to prison for the rest of their life. I want to get back. I want to get to this Arctic fraud stuff that I just looked at this morning where you had the DOJ and the FBI going after lawyers. going after donors, going after advocates. They were going after, we learned yesterday, turning point, but the RNC, the Republican Attorney's General Association, they were going after Trump's campaign lawyers, including my friend who is still dealing with this. This is all in documents shared by a whistleblower. The result of these investigations was supposed to be criminal charges and imprisonment. So barrel of a gun, yes. We see the left has now jumped the shark to total political violence. This is a form of violence when you want to take someone's freedom away from them, when you want to harass them into bankruptcy, when you want to put them in prisons for the rest of their natural lives. This is years and years of calling us Nazis and fascists and, you know, and anti-Semites and Hitler and racists, et cetera, et cetera. This is years of rhetoric that has built into a justification for tyranny. And now we know the left not only doesn't mind it, they're willing to actualize it with actual real deadly violence. Two things I would say. As we speak right now, I am in a judiciary hearing, and I'm about to question Kash Patel, the FBI director. And this is one of the questions that need to be asked of him. Are you going to provide us all this information? It's clear with the release of our cross that that is what they plan to do. And are we going to fix this. In his written testimony, it was heartening to see that they are moving a thousand people out of the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. Think about that. A thousand. They're moving out and they're putting them to fight crime in one of the 55 offices around America. rather than this being some Praetorian guard that guards Washington, D.C., rather than protecting the American people. So they are headed in the right direction in regards to that. But I would also point out the Wisconsin nexus, because never forget the John Doe. We saw, we were witnesses.
early on of what the left was willing to do in Wisconsin back during the Walker years, 2011, 12, 13, through that period of time, we witnessed what they are willing to do to hold on to political power. Yeah, it was mini Arctic frost. By the way, there was a federal nexus to the John Doe. There were FBI agents. At the raids. So what was the FBI doing? I think it was a dry run for what we saw happen during Trump's first term, 2016. I think it was a dry run. When you look at the people on this list, it's the lawyers. It's individuals. It's Amy Kremmer from Tea Party Patriots. I mean, really? It's Charlie Kirk. It's Seth Dylan. It's people like that from places you would just not even imagine. It's my friend Jim Troopis. the way, he was successful in fighting back on the feds. Now, and this is what I hope somebody asks Kash Patel, will you investigate the Democrat attorneys general who have tried to keep this, this, you know, weaponization of government alive at the state level? Because if it's a conspiracy to deny civil rights, then someone needs to open up the investigation. Pam Bondi needs to get serious about this, and Kash Patel needs to dispatch some of those thousand agents to do the investment. work? And when is Josh call going to stop this witch hunt? He won't. Which was not recommended by his department justice. They said it was not a chargeable offensive with Mr. Troopus. And by the way, also went after the mayor of Wasaw. When is Josh call going to stop his witch hunt? It's clear he is a graduate of Perkins Coy. which will do anything to maintain. That's Mark Elias's law firm people. Perkins Coy. That is the Spangali of Lawfares law firm. It is the Democrat fixer. brute apo research law firm. It's not about the law for them. It's about political power for them. He wants to run for governor. That's what I think he's doing. I think he's trying to out-left, out-flank the left. There are a number of, you know, left is Kelda Royce, by the way, just through her hat in the ring. I think you're familiar with Kilda Royce. Sarah Rodriguez, who's basically the Tony Evers administration, it's Evers 2.0. And I think that this... Yeah, which is really, which is insane. Okay, so he's got to outflank the left. This is how he's going to do it by cheering on the prosecution of an innocent man and trying to ruin his life and put him in prison for the rest of his life. Think about that selling to the Wisconsin Democratic Party. Well. They believe in socialism. Francesca Hong now has come out officially. She is the standard bearer for the Democrat Party of Wisconsin at this point. They are open about it. They used to be shy about it 10 years ago, tried to cover it up. They want socialism, which has worked so many times in history, right, Mickey?
Yeah, they want the same system that brought, you know, brutality and you could even call it genocide to places like North Korea, China, Nazi Germany, Cuba. Most recently, Venezuela. They destroyed that country 20 years ago. It has failed every time wherever it has been practiced. And we have to step up our game as conservative and make sure that. the people of Wisconsin understand the stark contrast between what they believe in because socialism is always backed up by brute force, not free speech. Congressman Tom Tiffany, a pleasure to have you on the program. Thank you very much for joining me. Thank you. Good to have you. And we'll be right back on the Vicki McConnor Show. Welcome back to the program. It's the Vicki McKenna Show. All right. We've got a lot of things came out yesterday in the investigation over or into the assassination of Charlie Kirk with the suspect Tyler Robinson. Text messages have just been released. We'll put that aside for a second. about the text messages, but the text messages between him and his boyfriend, essentially admitting to doing it, not even essentially he admitted to doing that, at least in these text messages, whatever you want to think about, whether you think it was staged or not between the two, it appears that there was some planning. I'm not sure. who's planning, what kind of nexus or networks there were with various different social media platforms. So we're bringing Kalyn Dees, who is a reporter for the Washington Examiner. It reports on the Department of Justice and the goings on of the FBI and these kinds of things. And he's been paying very, very close attention to this particular investigation. Kalin, welcome to the show. Hey, thanks so much. Thank you for having me on. All right. So we're still in if there was coordination or pre-planning with other people. The Justice Department is still, right? That's a question mark. They're still looking into that, correct? Where are they in terms of what the, you know, sort of what the course of the investigation appears to be shaping up as? That's right, Vicki. The case is not closed, and the FBI is still investigating thousands of the bleed, as we see more and more come out, especially with the charges that were announced yesterday, there in Utah. And I think that where we stand right now is that we're still trying to, you know, really digest where, you know, what the Utah authorities gave us yesterday. It was quite remarkable to see, essentially now we have two different confessions. We have a reported confession from the Discord chat that Tyler Robinson was sitting in, up to 30 people, and that was reported by the Washington Post. And yet you have this other separate confession to this boyfriend, this lover. And, you know, potentially, you know, even you could argue that what happened with his parents in the discussion and the agreement to get the, you know, the...
the former law enforcement officer involved with facilitating his, you know, return to custody. I mean, we have three separate occasions here. So this is going to be a case, you know, that's not going to be, you know, on whether he did it or not, but it's going to be sort of on his defense to try to meander around the legal system and try to, you know. get out on some technicalities, but I mean, I don't see a situation in which this defendant evades. I don't either. I mean, I think that, you know, capital punishment is all but inevitable for him. And, you know, it really does, you know, people find it very hard to believe that. out of everything that he did, that he did it all on his own. And I think that that is where people stand right now. I mean, that's where the public, you know, people I'm speaking to, are questioning whether he acted solely alone. A lot of people find it hard to believe that he did. And I think that that's... where the FBI is being a lot of pressure to find out if there's anybody else. Right. So is the FBI looking at the claim that was made by a man named Phil Lyman. He's a former rep out of Utah who claimed that there was a group of left-wing agitators at the Charlie Kirk event on September 10th. And when the shot rang out, they didn't flinch. They just kept jeering. Now, I'm not, and do you have any indication that his claim has been investigated because that would suggest, you know, if you don't duck when a bullet flies, that's not a natural reaction. Anything on that? Definitely, Vicky, but I will say this, that, you know, we saw a litany of strange camera angles of people, you know, there was, you know. hundreds of people on X that have surface videos even if people who were standing in the background of Charlie Kirk and, you know, just certain hand signals that were, you know, alleged hand signals that, you know, showed up and things like that. So I think that whenever we look into people's reactions and things like that, it's hard for any of us to understand how we would have reacted in that situation. And the thing with Kirk is that we've seen the abhorrent levels of people who have, you know, celebrated, even cheered for this type of reaction. We know that the nature of Kirk's work is to, you know, confront people and to have debate, and that many of the people that would show up for his event were not fans of his at all. And then sometimes they thought that they were going to, you know, be able to one-up him or something like that. So just because I've seen so many abhorrent posts and people saying that, you know, that the world is better off now because he's dead.
I just, it's not hard for me to believe that there's some people in that crowd who maybe were sick enough to like be, you know, you know, internally or externally celebrating it. You know, it's just one of these things that we've seen a dramatic loss of humanity. I agree with you. And that was a dramatic loss in humanity. He's dead on the stage and they're jeering. But it's odd. And just I'm just wondering if the FBI, I mean, you know, they may be in, in the process of just still pulling together. Info. Tell me about Discord. This is something I don't quite understand from when I gather it was for gamers and, you know, people with alternative interests and kind of like a chat thing or some kind of platform. Walk me through. You're younger than, way younger than me. So walk me through what Discord is and why this seems to be popping up in Minneapolis or Abundant Life Christian in Madison or, you know, Audrey Hale in Nashville. So why does this seem to be a thing for the trans Tifa time? types. Yeah, I think that there's, you know, a lot of people, you know, especially like me in the 20 to 30 range that, you know, have been shocked to see that this platform that a lot of, you know, just, you know, regular, unassuming gamers, people like that that have used for years is suddenly becoming an area where criminals and very, you know, salacious things happen. And so from what I understand, the discord, had around up to 30 people in it, the one that Tyler Robinson was in. And it appeared like the members of that group were reacting in real time to some of the news that they were seeing about this. And then it was one of those things where they were all sort of left in shock whenever he himself jumped back into the group and let them know that, you know, he wasn't going to be seeing them anymore. And, you know, basically implying that, you know, this was all of his doing. And so the FBI is investigating that Discord group. You know, one could call that a network. You know, people can ask him the question, would be involved in any networks and things like that. But I think that question is, you know, framed for people is that they want people, they want the FBI to investigate whether he was involved in any, and TIPA cells. or something that you were more of a militant network. Right. If he's hanging out with a bunch of gamer, left-wing gamer friends, that's one thing. You know, hey, guys, I'm not going to be back because I kill the guy. But is it, you know, we keep seeing this pop up in these kind of trans-Tifa, you know, crimes, whether it's Benjamin Netanyahu Soon and the ICE attacks in Alvarado or it's, you know, homicides. And so that's why I ask, it's not something I'm on. I wouldn't be on it. I'm not a gamer. It's not going to attract someone like me. So, you know, is this, this just seems to be kind of a big, a different version of Reddit is what it seems like to me.
I've worked in the business and you've used an application called Slack or some other, you know, Microsoft teams and stuff like that. It's like a more recreational version of that. Okay, okay. You know, it's nature is not, you know, it's supposed to be like, you know, that of like 4chan, where we've often seen, you know, a lot of, you know, radical extremism bubble up from there. But, you know, it's, you know, more, because of its end-to-end encryption features. It definitely doubles as sort of like a signal or a telegram where people feel more confident, I think, to relay certain messages. I see. Because they feel like it's going to be, you know, hidden and not, you know, great public. But, of course, this court is, you know, willing to walk any accounts that they think they need to lock. And it's my understanding that Robinson's account was locked. And I think his records were preserved shortly after it became clear that he... points of participants. Yeah, it's strange the CEO thought that it was, he could be comfortable saying, oh, no, this stuff never happens on Discord. Well, you know, are you monitoring it or not? So I think, you know, that's odd. It was an odd statement when he clearly couldn't answer that question if, in fact, end-to-end encrypted messaging is not being monitored by the company, right? So. Yeah, and I, and I must say, Vicky, because because they have reached out to us. They, they, that Discord has. you know, sweared up and down that there was no planning at all that, you know, took place on Discord for this. But I think that, you know, even though they're saying that, I think that it's still worth, you know, keeping all of our leads open because if there's, you know, something that maybe just got rushed under the rug or if this board didn't pick up on it, I don't think that we should say that they're... was definitively no planning. We know, we know, yeah, planning. You know, I mean, that's, so how are you going to define planning? We planned, we chatted and planned a homicide on Discord. But Discord, you know, is being implicated in an awful lot of these trans Tifa of acts of violence. I'm using Trans Tifa as a placeholder, by the way, because there isn't a group called trans Tifa. It's just a descriptor. So, but it's end-to-ending. So this is like telegram or it's like signal only with some enhanced features, I guess. You know, and here's something that I'm starting to hear. And not maybe this isn't even the right time to bring it up, is to have the government shut down end-end encryption. And, you know, people on the conservative side, mostly in my generation or older, are the ones that are kind of comfortable with that conversation. And I'm kind of wanting to remind them. of the Biden administration. I kind of want to remind them of what was just released via Arctic Frost, the documents in Arctic Frost. But have you noticed any of that kind of conversation taking place? Yes, I have, Vicki. And I think that it's coinciding, you know, this revelation that Chuck Grassley gave us yesterday about some of the nature of the content that's in the Arctic Cross investigation, which we know that Biden administration investigated 93 different conservative groups, including Turning Point USA. And there's, you know, obviously no basis, I think, to investigate any of those groups. But, you know, to investigate Turning Point, I think, was one of those things that a lot of people were questioning. How is it?
even you know how is this group even on the list uh because you know this seems to be related to uh 20 20 election related issues but the fact of the matter is is that um you know this is coming at a time whenever our attorney in general has just you know made some comments about wanting to uh prosecute certain acts of of of hate speech And one moment, Mickey. Sure. And she has. Yes. And I think that, you know, there was a lot of backlash to what she said yesterday about that hate speech comment. You know, it's one of these things where I don't, I think Pam Bondi knew what she was doing. I don't think that she, you know, literally wants to just go after so-called hate speech. But I do think that she, you know, sees the temperature. in this country is very high and she's thinking to herself maybe what is what is something that she can do or say that you know makes people uh you know resonate with the fact that we are not going to tolerate you know uh words that incite violent which uh there's a Yeah, she should have said that. She should have said we are not going to tolerate people calling, openly calling for violence. That's not protected speech. The way she said it, I don't know if it was just ham fisted. She said a couple different times. Or maybe she just hasn't thought it through. A lot of people haven't. We've been living in a... you know, two and a half decades of listening to we must. There's hate crimes, you know, that, you know, whatever is in someone's heart, they, you know, they get extra penalty if they say something in addition to doing something. So I think we're just, this country does not have a culture of free speech. It just doesn't. And she just may be a reflection of that. I'm cutting her a little bit of slack. I think that there are probably some people talking to her right now. But that's not, you know, so is I'm, is all. of this is coming out, you know, people are so terrified that they want to say, well, then maybe we shut down discord because it's got end-to-end encryption. Well, then maybe we should shut down signal. And then maybe we should shut down telegram. And then maybe Apple should give the backdoor key to the U.S. government for all your eye messages, right? It never ends with one thing, okay, it's just going to be this little part of this particular, this platform because this awful person or these awful people used it. And I mean, you know, bad things always happen in the wake of horrible events. And I'm just, you know, I'm just wondering if there is a sense of what Rahm Emanuel said, never let a crisis go to waste going on in D.C. right now. Yeah, I mean, I think it's, you know, one thing that we can all agree on is it's something that I think Charlie Kirk wouldn't have supported if he were to be able to stand her today. I, you know, I think that there's a lot of things where you don't want to speak for someone who's no longer here, but that's not one of these things that he would have wanted was the indiscriminate banning of platforms that otherwise, you know, people are mostly doing harmless things on.
And that same thing goes to his comments about hate speech. Those are rather clear and loud about some of the things he said about how he doesn't believe in that thing I think. So, you know, not that everything needs to, you know, directly go back to what he thought about the way the world should work. But I think that, you know, any time you see these knee-jerk reactions to make changes after the... tragic death of someone, it's a time to take pause and to consider whether, you know, what the implications might be. I don't know where this is going, but I do know that we need to... you know, let the authorities do their jobs, see if there's actually any other, you know, help that this young man, Tyler Robinson received in this. And, you know, figure out, you know, you know, this conversation, this text exchange with his boyfriend. What did the boyfriend do whenever he received this information? Right. He said on it. Because I think that there could be potentially some, you know, some responsibilities that, that. he would have if he decided to wait a few hours before saying or this was i mean it reads so strange as a young man you know it just doesn't strike me that young men typically type and you know grammatic mostly grammatically correct full paragraphs with no spelling mistakes i mean in a text message you know maybe unless you're sitting on a keyboard i don't know i don't know i think you're right though uh our congressman here in wisconsin Derrick Van Orden um former navy seal likes to say We should probably just take a knee in hydrate before we decide to go whole hog banning things and, you know, stuff like that. So I'm, you know, let's just kind of all just wait to see what falls out of this investigation. I think it's going to be. Interesting. We don't know what the hell was going on. We just woke up one day and found someone we all loved, you know, dead at the end of a gun. Hey, Kalin, I really appreciate it. Washington Examiner, Department of Justice Reporter for the Washington Examiner, please make sure you get a subscription to the Washington Examiner. Most of their stuff's free, but some of the great investigative reporting can have to pay for. Good to have you. Thank you so much. Thank you, Vicki. And thank you to Middleton Ford for sponsoring our hotline, family owned and your good neighbor Ford dealership for nearly 75 years. And we are back. Welcome back to the program. It's the Vicki McKenna show. So let's play this audio clip of this girl from a college in North Georgia. She has a book on international relations. She'll explain it. It only takes about a minute. Just have a listen to her. There I might be getting canceled for this, but I'm kind of pissed off. Anyway, I'm a senior in college, and I'm in international public relations, and I was told to read Chapter 8 this week of International Public Relations, Negotiating, Culture, Identity, and Power. I'm reading, I just opened it up to Chapter 8 about five minutes ago. I've been sitting here in awe.
Chapter 8 is titled Contested Identities Shifting Publix in a Globalized World. I'm going to read you what I just read and where I stopped. I think it's the second, seventh, maybe the third. Identity may be one of the most contentious words of the new millennium. An internet search produces the following modifiers for identity. Corporate, sexual, digital, public, racial, national, brand, and even Christian, a U.S.-based white supremacist group. I'm pissed, so I would just like to say that as a Christian. If you're reading this and you're not a Christian and you're in college, I am not a white supremacist, so can we cancel these authors? Yeah. Are we going to cancel me? Well, it's probably going to be you, sweetie, unfortunately. So Christian identity is white supremacist, all right? Now, if you rock this or whatever, and I did, in order to defend that this is not labeling Christians as white supremacist, the AI claims that groups like Aryan nations. which I don't even think, I'm not even sure that's around anymore, is a, quote, Christian identity group. It is not. And then they go all the way back to the 1970s to groups like the covenant, the sword, and the arm of the Lord. That was a militia organization in the 1970s into the 1980s. So they got to go, you got to go to the way back machine metaphorically to try to justify. This author's declaration that identifying Christian is really you identifying part of some white separatist movement. That's the excuse. That isn't what the sentence said. They're talking about identity, racial identity, you know, Christian identity, whatever. It is not about established groups from the 19, militia groups from the 1970s, which were not Christian or the 1980s. It's about trying to paint a picture in the United States that Christians are white supremacists. That's what that's about. Period. Full stop. That's what that's about. Or you know what the author would have done? And incidentally, I have the text of the chapter. was able to get the text of the chapter, it's publicly available. The author would have said, we are talking about specific identity groups. We are talking about the Black Panthers, the new Black Panthers, you know, and going on in identifying explicit organizations, but that's not what was going on. It was about a general discussion of identity.
Sexual identity, racial identity. You can't say if you're using general categories for everybody else that this was just about these specific groups from the 1970s and 1980s. By the way, Grock relied on the Southern Poverty Law Center, which labels mainstream groups like Moms for Liberty, white supremacist organizations, turning point. white supremacist organization. So I just want to say this, all right, because it's important. The number of white Christians is dwarfed by the number of non-white Christians. Say that again. There are... approximately 100% more non-white Christians in the world than there are white Christians. It's almost two times the number. Non-white Christians, white Christians. So just is rough, just a sort of a rough sketch of this. In the United States, So if we're, this is what I, just just to get kind of a rough sketch of this, I use the United States, Africa, Asia. So I'm using continents, big, big, big things, okay? Continents and very large countries. United States, Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, Central America and Scandinavia, right? Asia, by the way, includes whites. It's not exclusively non-white, but most. of the population in Asia is non-white. Okay, but just like in the United States, it includes lots of non-whites, but most of the population in the United States is white. Scandinavia, damn near 100% of the population is white. So I tried to pick the biggest population basis of white people I could think of. And you have... 1.9 billion with a B, 1.9 billion non-white Christians, non-white Christians compared to 980 million white Christians. The statement in that book was deliberately meant to give the impression that in the United States, being Christian is white supremacist, is a lie. It's a lie. Christianity is not a white supremacist religion. Christianity is the antithesis of a white supremacist religion. Every element of Christianity would revile someone judging somebody based on skin color. We are all God's children. We are all children of Jesus. We are all able to be saved. Every one of us. White, black, Hispanic, Chinese, Korean, North Korean, Yemeni, Syrian, we are all able to be saved through Jesus Christ. That's, it's a universalist religion. It does not exclude anybody. And to have that in an international relations class on a college campus is appalling.
That author absolutely should be called out. That sentence should be removed from that book because it is a provable, objective, abject lie. We'll be right back. Welcome back to the program. It's the Vicki McKenna Show. I want to bring back on the program, Rabbi Daniel Schoenbach, I hope I'm saying your name correctly, to talk about... You know, bigger themes of what's really going on in our culture, and maybe even in the culture of the West. It's wonderful to have you back on the program. You are the host of the Victor Frankel podcast. You can find all of your writing at Victor Frankelpodcast.com. That's where your blog is as well. Rabbi, thank you for being on my program. Pleasure to be here. So I'm just going to read from a recent piece, if you don't mind that you have just very recently posted. You write about Victor Frankel, Holocaust Survivor. And you say that he warned of the existential vacuum that overtakes societies when traditional sources of meaning, faith, family, community, and responsibility collapse. The vacuum is not neutral. It cries out to be filled. Many will fill it with addictions, materialism, shallow pleasures, etc. This young man appeared on the surface to have had faith, family, community, and a sense of responsibility. So how did he lose meaning? How are so many people with what look like, you know, pretty stable backgrounds finding themselves disconnected from meaning? And I think Viktor Frankl's right. It has to be filled with something. Symbols of some kind will replace anchors of meaning. So, but I'm just wondering, I mean, didn't it? It looked like his family did it right. I think they did it right, but the problem is the dangerous brew of what's been happening on universities the last 20 to 30 years in America. People introduced to Marxism, socialism, Islamic fundamentalism, as we saw on October 7th. And the second one, unfortunately, is the radicalization of social media. There seems to be some very, very dark areas. where people are espousing extreme left-wing views, which are now coupled with extremely fundamentalist views and violence. And that brew over just a few years is turning out to be murderous in nature and in attendance. You know, I think it needs, I think part of the problem, as I was listening to, you're right, of course. Part of the problem is that while his family... had that. Did the greater culture have that? And the answer, I think, is easily and provably no. We don't have a sense of anchoring meaning to faith, anchoring meaning to family. We are anchoring meaning to politics in this country. In politics, capital P, small P politics, whether it's, you know, cultural politics or, you know, D versus our politics. If that's the meaning of America.
Then America is empty. It has been emptied out and it will be filled with whatever will destroy it, I think. Well, 100%. We have a candidate in New York City, Zohran Mamdani, who's also stepping into that territory of meaninglessness. And all they have to do is provide some type of absolutism, some fantasy, with socialism. And we've already seen the disaster of socialism in countries like Venezuela and North Korea. You just have to go into an emptiness in America and then promote yourself as the same absolutism, and people kind of run into your arms. We're seeing this right across the country happening on different levels. Absolutism fills a void. You said that. You're exactly correct. If somebody comes along and promises you black and white, something that's really easy to, you know, sort of conceptually get your head around, you don't have to think through it too deeply. We don't do that anymore. Critical thought is dead for the most part, at least in K-12 public education and in university. I think that's the appeal of Islamic fundamentalism, probably. It certainly is the appeal of this sort of left radical neo-Marxist nihilism, is that, okay, here's the solution to your problem. Kill. Political violence almost becomes a mandate at that point if the solution is absolutism. What's been great about America since 1945, and before that is just the fact we're a middle-of-the-road country. We don't stand for absolutism. We don't stand for extremism. You know, and we're seeing this in society today. People are being pulled to extremes in American society. And unfortunately, young people. I mean, these people are in their 20s. Charlie Kirk was only, you know, 31 years old. These are young people. Charlie Kirk was a very peaceful person. He talked through the means of dialogue and Socratic dialogue and interesting people and important topics. And people, unfortunately, being radicalized by this isolation and absolutism. And this is being put to the test now with social media. I mean, people are living in echo chambers and it's best as a psychologist. People get off their phones. Unplug. and start connecting to human beings and to God, of course, which is the most important thing we connect to. And I should have described you as well. You are also a practicing psychologist as well. So it is on that, Eileen. Extremism, the phrase, the word, this is also, by the way, part and parcel of the left, is to deconstruct the meaning of language itself. We have heard Republicans or remember, let's roll back to George W. Bush, right? But George W. Bush, when he's talking about giving young people and access to privatizing their own retirement savings, that was, that was described as extremist. I mean, so the word extremism has been so completely disconnected from what it's supposed to telegraph as a word that.
You know, we say America is not an extreme country. What in the hell does that even mean anymore? Because if Charlie Kirk was an extremist for asking people to understand what they actually think that was his gift, somebody would come to the microphone and he'd say, well, why do you think you're queer or whatever? And that, you know, get them to understand what they're saying they actually are and think, then I don't even know. You know, how do we kind of explain this to people that, you know, we got to come up with a new word maybe for extremism because it doesn't mean anything anymore. Charlie Kirk was just stepping into the arena talking about faith, family, and God. I mean, just like Dr. Frankel, this would have been normal for you and I just a few years ago. The society is just radicalized to such an extent that even talking about the most basic fundamentals of human existence for thousands of years are somehow now seen as extremism. But we got to speak out. We've got to talk to our children. I'm a family therapist. We have to unplug the internet. We have to reorient them toward doing things in the world, like focusing on their values and focusing on meaningful experiences, not the internet, not radicalization. Because we're not doing that in our society, we're raising our kids on the internet, for example. We're not having a deep human connection and focusing on meaningful experiences. We're losing them. to a bunch of forces that want to rip our children apart. And all these forces are interconnected in the left in this country. And that's why we're in so much danger. Yeah. And I'm thinking of the Internet. I'm thinking of social platforms. They're very siloing. They're very isolating. You never have to encounter an opinion that challenges anything you think, say, desire. There's always something out there that affirms it, that endorses it, that tells you keep going, keep going. And, you know, there's someone like, like me, I mean, I trade, I ply my trade because we have a First Amendment because we sort of have a culture that respects free speech. And, you know, I bristle at the idea that, you know, these tools. can't be used for good. But I'll tell you what, we're not weaponizing them for good. And I shouldn't even say weaponizing maybe. We're not harnessing them for good. We're letting the left harness them for evil. So these technologies, AI, as it's starting to just take control, are going to be if there isn't someone thinking about the technology and how to use the technology to the, you know, to its most. you know, the best use for the public good. Geez, I don't even know. I mean, I just think that we're going to lose the race.
Before we had social media, we had newspapers. And newspapers were in communities where people have to give different opinions because it had to incorporate different people in their city. Today, in the internet, it's all based on the algorithm that when you have an opinion, they put you into an echo chamber. All you hear is your side over and over again. On the side of the good and the right, if it's amplified, people become more God-focused, faith-focused, family-focused. If you're in the echo chamber, the left, it's about extreme violence. It's about militarization against anybody that speaks out against you. And so it has to do with the tech, high-tech people today. They've created this culture. And unfortunately, words turn into reality. Words turn into death, as we just saw last week with Charlie Kirk. So we have to change our words, pull out of technology as best as we can, as long as we can for our kids, and focus on spreading goodness. I'd agree with you on that point. The algorithm does reward. you know, siloing. It automatically silos you. So if you happen, if I say I like the Victor Frankel podcast, then I'm going to get content that's similar to that. It wants me to click. It wants me to scroll. If I click on rage, you know, rage bait, it's going to give me more of that. If you click on things that say Charlie Kirk is a racist, you're going to get more of that. It's just, I mean, that's the, that's the code. That's how the actual code works. I don't. You know, I don't know if there's a big solution. I hope the young people who have been inspired by Turning Point. And our, you know, one of the things Charlie Kirk said is have more kids than you can afford, get married, have more kids than you can afford. I mean, I'm kind of, you know, leaning on Gen Z, Gen Alpha. to maybe shake this off. The rest of us, I mean, their elders have no idea what to tell them. We have no way to make this make sense for them. We've delivered our children into this toxic stew of division and siloing and hatred. And, you know, I mean, we blame, we bear responsibility for that. But, you know, I don't know, apparently extreme outcomes. aren't enough. I thought maybe, you know, if New York elects Zohran Mamdani, the New York learns a really bad lesson, but my sense is they probably won't. I just don't, I don't think, I don't think that's going to be the way to fix things. I think there are some trends that I'm reading about in Gen Z that are going back to religion in God. Some young men are doing that as well. We have to get back to basics with people. In terms of Zohran Mamdani, I'm very, very concerned. This is a danger, not just to New York where I live. It's a danger to the United States. He's bringing together these two terrible forces of extreme left ideology with Islamic fundamentalism and all run by the Democratic Socialist America. So the best advice I have is people have to register to vote. get out there. And maybe, you know, the death of Charlie Kirk would lead us to understanding the dangers to all of us right now. And in his memory, people should register to vote and vote as if their wife depend on it for our future in America. Yeah, I'm so worried that those young folks, again, going back to the absolutism, here's the answer to your problems. You're miserable. You can't afford rent. You can't afford this. Whatever. You know, your parents' generation let you down. Your grandparents' generation, let you down. Here's Zohran Mamdani saying.
Here's a populist message. I'm asking you not even to think about it. And I've always worried that the same people who might have been induced into voting for President Trump or really liked President Trump in the 2024 election are in a place where they're just so miserable that someone with an answer is going to get their attention, left or right, left or right. Because you know what I mean? 100%. All we have to do is peek into history just a few years ago. Look at Venezuela before communism. Look what it's like right now. That's what Maldani wants from New York. And he just have to read the tea leaves. It's already failed. It's just more failure packaged. on the left in Democratic Party and it's all bad grievance politics. But all these forces, unfortunately, now come together in a very potent brew. And we're all really in danger unless we speak out, as we're trying to do now, and also register to vote and vote against these people. Yeah, and talk to your kids. Talk to your grandkids. Don't let them. I mean, seriously, Venezuela ain't going back. You're going to, they're going to have to fight to get their freedom back. And after a couple of generations, that becomes harder and harder and harder. I certainly. Just very worried about young people. A left-wing populist message can be just as appealing as a right-wing populist message. I appreciate the time, though, Rabbi, thank you so much for coming on the program today, and I appreciate it. I hope people can check out your podcast page, Victor Frankelpodcast.com. Read the blog. You're very gracious with your time today. Thank you. Great to be here. And we'll take a break on the Vicki McKenna show. Thanks to Middleton Ford for sponsoring our hotline, family owned and your Good Neighbor Ford dealership for nearly 75 years. I'll be right back.
And welcome back to the program. It's the Vicki McKenna Show. Curtis Howk is standing by on the Middleton Ford hotline. He is the managing editor for NewsBusters, newsbusters. Newsbusters.org. I highly recommend you bookmark this site. Sign up for the alert so that you always know about the new content. Follow them on social platforms as well. Curtis, welcome to the program. Always good to be with you, Vicki. Curtis, Curtis. I guess this one, I mean, the contortions, the media can go through, they never surprise me, but sometimes you're just like, you've got to be kidding me. So here we have a reporter for, I believe it's ABC News and CNN. looking at the text messages released between the killer and his transferey boyfriend, and instead of reacting saying, obviously, this guy, you know, knew, it was clearly, I mean, now we know it was left-wing violence, it was motivated by politics, right? What a touching love story between these two. It was touching how Tyler Robinson cared so much for his transferey boyfriend. He called him, my love. It's so romantic. What? I'm going to let you jump in here. This is nuts. Yeah, yeah. This one was crazy. I had this one first at Newsbuster or my X account, then it spread the wildfire to the masses. It was ABC's chief national correspondent, Matt Gutman, during a network special report as the charging documents were released and read aloud by the Utah County attorney. He went on to explain that he said the text messages were very touching in a way that I didn't think many of us would expect. a very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect's roommate and, you know, the suspect here. He talked about the duality of someone who jeopardized the life of Charlie Kirk, but then goes on to say, and then on the other hand, he was, you know, speaking so lovingly about his partner. So loving. What? So romantic. I mean, you know what? This is, I mean, seriously, I hate to borrow, you know, a metaphor too much. But I didn't have turning him into a romantic figure on my bingo card. Okay. Just didn't have it. Wasn't even there. So here we have. And CNN is trying to pick this up as well, which was. So I thought, okay, it's crazy Matt Gutman. Fine. We'll mock ABC. And then, you know, he'll get ratioed. to the moon, right? But then you see CNN picking up, oh, you know, there was some really, you know, kind of, you know, nice exchanges between these two. I'm like, you know, Hitler loved his dog. Is that the story of Hitler's genocide? Well, he loved his dog. I mean, he must have not been a totally awful guy.
Well, allegedly, this is what they're going with. I mean, as I know, we'll talk more about coming in a second, but he got suspended twice already for different things, once for false information, once for insubordination over at CNN last night on CNN Newsnight, which I like to call CNN Thunderdome for its complete. you know, food fight levels of stupidity. Montel Williams literally tried to say, people are trying to pigeonhole this as a leftist thing or a right thing and what really talk about. Hear me, because I'm going to throw you when I say this. We're talking about a loved, a kid. This was his first relationship, and somebody was disparaging the person that he loved. And he goes on to say, I don't believe he was motivated politically. I think he was motivated emotionally. This was an emotionally stunted person. Montel Williams. He was motivated by love. It was his first love. It was the first time. The power of love! Can we get the music? We should have had, the power of love. We should have had love songs playing in the background. Star Trek? Revenge of the Sith, like Anakin Skywalker. Like, I turned to the dark side to protect Padmay or something. Like, what are we doing here? I guess he's a white knight in the relationship. His, you know, this is like the crying game. Or it's like Dog Day Afternoon. You know, he just robbed the bank because he wanted to get the surgery for his trans lover. That, by the way, that's the theme of Dog Day Afternoon, which is based on a real story, believe it or not. So I guess that's what we're supposed to think, right? This is just some, you know, poor, you know, not terribly well-developed socially young man who just fell in love for the first time with his girlfriend. That's actually his boyfriend, but it's eventually going to be his girlfriend that dresses like an anime character. And it was all just because this is, let's talk about the text messages, which no one did last night. In terms of looking at the text messages, when I read him, Curtis, I don't know about you. My first thought was, This sure seems staged. It seemed like these guys planned this set of text messages. Too many, you know, too much proper grammar. It nobody, no kid says my love. You know, I mean, my husband sometimes writes it in a card, but most of the time when he says it, it's to be sarcastic. Whatever you say, my love. You know, so, I mean, I'm looking at this going, shouldn't we maybe look at maybe whether these guys actually, you know, decided to come up with some kind of exchange that, that, you know, bashes Charlie. Kirk, but also puts the blame on one guy while exempting the, I have no idea. But it sure seemed funky, the text messages.
A very strange kid, but I will say he seems lucid. You know, this is what the left is doing. The left is trying to say, no, no, this man was clearly mentally ill. Yes. Yes. He was mentally ill. By dating a tranny, but, you know, that's a separate. To the crime, we're saying he's very lucid. We're not trying to get him declared mentally in unfit to stand trial. What's happening is the left is trying to turn this into. You know, we're all in control of our thoughts and actions, which, you know, the end of the day is true. If not for, but not for the left previous record. CNN tried to trap Scott Jennings yesterday. Lulu Garcia Navarro from the New York Times tried to trap him by citing an op-ed. He wrote after the El Paso Walmart shooting saying that people shouldn't be blaming Donald Trump for this, which of course was true because the guy was insane and kind of a racist. You know, what the left tried to do there was say Donald Trump radicalized this kid with his racist, xenophobic views and wanting to build the wall, even though there's no evidence of that. So here, now we have direct evidence, someone saying, I'm tired of Charlie Kirk's hate. Some hate can't be negotiated with. Well, they're saying, they're trying to say it was Charlie Kirk had a common. He's the one who radicalized him. And here's the exchange. I've had enough of his hatred. Some hate. Can't be negotiated out. If I'm able to grab my rifle and seen, I will have left no evidence going to attempt to retrieve it again. Hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything about them finding it. So a couple of things in that paragraph, one, clearly lucid, knew he was trying to get rid of evidence, right? He was going to have to get rid of evidence because he knew he committed a crime. But I've had enough of this hatred. No, you, again, let's go to the left-wing media. The left-wing media over and over and over again described Charlie Kirk as being hateful or turning point as being hateful or Donald Trump as being hateful or you, Curtis Howker, me, Vicki McKenna, as being hateful because we believe in family and God and, you know, rational understanding of the definition of terms like man and woman. And we don't want six-foot-six-inch guys fully intact exposing themselves in women's locker rooms. And we think we should have rational enforcement of our immigration laws. And we don't think multiple violent offenders should be allowed to roam free, committing crimes it will because of systemic racism, which we believe doesn't exist. That's what they keep saying is racist and hateful and Hitler and all this stuff. That's what the kid was reacting to, not the radicalization by Charlie Kirk, the radicalization of Charlie Kirk's reality by the media and the Democratic Party. And yet CNN's senior national security analyst, Juliet Kayam, who worked at Obama DHS and educates, allegedly educates, Reid, you know, radicalizes people at Harvard, says that it may be that leftist progressive trans rights animated his political, as greater interest in politics, as we have seen, but it does not explain the violence, because remember, lots of partisans, most partisans are not violent. You also had people on CNN tried to say, and MSNBC as well, say, well, that doesn't, again, it doesn't explain the violence. I still don't see a direct motivation to murder Charlie Kirk, which, I mean, it's just absolutely psychotic, deranged nonsense. The left is trying again, as I've been telling people over the last week, put the toothpaste back of the tube. They were refusing to look at themselves in the mirror. They're demanding the highest.
levels of ethics and moral ideals and also a side of surrender and subjugation from the rest of us while, you know, requiring nothing of themselves, other than that they get to keep their power and they don't get to ever admit that they were wrong. So here is a, here is a flyer at a college that says be gay, do crime. Be gay, do crime, everyday acts of queer resistance and rebellion. Be gay do crime. Here is the trans-Tifa organization of Salt Lake City called Armed Queers. The revolution will not be voted in with a picture of a drag queen and an AR-15. I'm trying to find a picture right now or in AK-47. I can't see the silhouette yet. And so you've got these radical trans-Tifa organizations and TIFA itself. We call it trans-Tifa just because it's the Trans End of Antifa says that crime that that is the answer, violence, real violence to correct speech violence, is the answer. I can't imagine how they got from left-wing ideology to the violence. Shocking. Yeah, I know. I mean, no, no, no. I'm just scratching my head here trying to figure out how on earth it got there. Something else, though, that they don't want to talk about. Let's just assume for a second, Curtis, that, you know, that it was left-wing, but, you know, maybe... He's not, his violence isn't explored, whatever, all right? Is he on SSRIs? Is he on, you know, drugs, hormone drugs? Is he anything like that? Because they don't want to talk about that stuff either. I saw when Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. brought it up a couple of weeks ago. They went running for the microphones talking about what a crack pot and a cranky was. I have no evidence about that, but, you know, who knows? Do they really want to explain the violence? It's easy to explain the violence. Anyway, Curtis out, you got to go to newsbusters.org, newsbusters.org. And, you know, at some point after you scroll through for about 15 minutes, you'll just kind of shake your head and need a cup of coffee or maybe a beer. But I do appreciate the work you guys do. Thank you. Or stronger. Or stronger. Good to have you. Thank you. And remember, day drinking is kind of a thing in Wisconsin, so there's that. We'll be right back. All right. Coming up in the 2 o'clock hour. We're going to do a little bit of horse race stuff going on, politics stuff going on. But I need a break from it for the lunch hour. So everybody have a great lunch. We'll be back here at 2 p.m. Remember 2 to 3 p.m. It's the last part of the show. It's 9 to 11, then 2 to 3 p.m. This is the Vicki McKenna Show. We'll be back here at 2. Have a great afternoon. Good afternoon and welcome. Welcome to the Vicki McKenna Show.
All right. We've got Tom Tiffany coming up in the program. Jim Path coming up in the program. We'll talk more about what's going on in the United States now with the backdrop of assassinations. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to be talking about that for a while because things have so, things have really drastically changed. How have they changed? Our side realized that what I used to say almost as a joke 20 years ago is actually real. Let me tell you the joke I used to say about 20 years ago. I would do Lincoln Day dinners or other Republican events. And I would, you know, say they call us racist, Nazis, whatever. This is 20 years ago. And I would say, you know, I would make jokes about how the Democrats hated us. And then about five or so years after I started doing that, I realized that they kind of do actually hate us. And what was really clarifying to me was the uprisings at the Wisconsin State Capitol with an exclamation point being the John Doe investigations. I mean, the hatred was pretty thorough. Now, I assumed that was in a sort of fringe element of the Democratic Party. I didn't assume it was the entire party. But what I think we woke up to. or we, you know, were exposed to after lunch on September 10th is the realization that the Democratic Party itself now represents. the hate. It's not just fringe elements anymore. Otherwise, you wouldn't see every single news outlet trying to contort itself into explaining away a political assassination. You just wouldn't see that happening. You wouldn't see ABC News swooning over the text messages between Tyler Robinson and his boyfriend as if it's some kind of romantic tragedy. That really what was going on here was this sort of, you know, romantic love and misunderstanding. And, you know what I mean? You wouldn't see that. You wouldn't see people justifying dancing in the streets defacing memorials to Charlie Kirk. You wouldn't see any of that. It's, it's now of. the Democratic Party. It's the, it's the whole of it. The media are the communication arms of the Democratic Party, obviously. You're seeing mainstream Democrats. You're seeing Democratic parties at the local level, in counties around the United States. either justifying the assassination or cheering it on, justifying it by saying you had it coming. Eric Schmidt, who is the senator from the state of Missouri, just posted this up on his ex-feed. For those of you who don't understand the problem, he writes, ABC News poll has 87% of Democrats viewing Donald Trump as a fascist.
NPR has 47% of Democrats saying that the rise of fascism is their top political concern. Rutgers has 55% of Democrats believing the assassination of Donald Trump would at least be somewhat justified. So again, it's all making my point. CNN just had a poll that they published yesterday. Harry Enton was talking about this on CNN. Democrats now prefer socialism by 58 points over capitalism, 58 points. So this is the main now of the Democratic Party. It's the main of it. The rise of fascism, Donald Trump as a fascist, Charlie Kirk is a fascist, fill in the blank as a fascist. That's what people realize that if you are for a wall or controlling immigration or wanting violent men in prison or thinking merit is better than racism or believing in a colorblind society or protecting kids from perversion or protecting women from predators. or you're for low taxes or reshoring manufacturing or unrigging the government or fair elections or better health or strong families or affordable housing or affordable energy, more good jobs, honest government, and American pride. If you're for those things, the Democrats think you're a fascist. That's what people realized. the Democrats in some areas, at least intellectually, morally find a place to justify violence or other types of brute force attacks against us. We haven't been talking a lot about the violence. I guess we could, to borrow their sort of redefinition of the word, the violence of the state. against conservatives, people like Rudy Giuliani or Steve Bannon or Peter Navarro or John Eastman or my friend Jim Troopis or the January 6th protesters or the alternative electors in the 2020 election. The Arctic Frost information we got yesterday. I'll talk with Tom Tiffany about that. All of these conservative organizations, including the RNC and Turning Point and the Republican Association of Attorneys General and Tea Party Patriots and other different conservative groups and people. all under investigation with an eye to put the principles of those organizations in prison forever. The government going after people who pray and sing hymns and protest abortion. See, we haven't been talking about that kind of violence, but the left justifies all of it. I shouldn't seem to say the left. Let's call them the Democrats justify all of it. At least a significant portion of them do.
is an appropriate response to fighting fascism. Fascism. Again, build a wall, put bad guys in jail, have low taxes, bring jobs back home, make it so the people can afford to live, unrigged government, have fair elections, fascism. That's the Democratic Party now. So I think that's why things are different. All that the old jokes I used to tell at Lincoln Day dinners. They're not jokes anymore. It's not a punchline anymore. The hate's real. That's what we all, I think, figured out, even more so than the shot at Trump at Butler. We'll take a break on the Vicki McKenna show. Welcome back to the program. It's the Bickey McKenna show. I've got from the conservative caucus, Jim Path on the program. Welcome back to the program, Jim. It's always great to have you on the show. So. Now that we've had some days to process the reaction, I guess, from the establishment media, from the elite gatekeepers or self-annointed gatekeepers of our culture, which I think they're learning, they're perhaps not. We have learned that they're not, that political, the culture of political violence, the culture of hate is not something. they want to step back from. Political violence is not something that most are, not rank and file, but most of the leadership of the American left is willing to renounce. So I want to start there, because I want it to get to politics per se, but we're in, put politics aside, we're in a place. that a significant number of powerful people seem to be comfortable with the idea that it's okay to hurt your opponent, maim, your opponent, kill your opponent, imprison your opponent. And that's a dark place for America to be. Well, it really is. I mean, I'm not seeking any unanimity with elected Democrats. Last year, 10 of millions of Democrats voted for Donald Trump. I mean, he got a majority of the population voting for him. The majority of the population is very concerned about everything that's going on. The way you react to all this is to take inspiration. from what Charlie Kirk was always talking about. The American ideal is a great ideal. It's not just a good ideal. It's a great one. And right now, we have a real opportunity to just kind of sit back and reflect on what made America great. And what did? Well, we leave citizens in the trust.
of what America is. And everything that's happening right now is revealing the size of where everyone is. There is a large majority of Americans who don't accept this kind of politics. They want to live their lives. And we need to reassert culturally and otherwise, politically obviously, too. I mean, there are always political implications, but we need to reassert what makes America great. Limited government. free markets and a free expression of ideas. And we can press for those things culturally and politically and stay on track with that. That's where our strength is as a nation. We're strong as a nation, not because of our politics. We're strong because we can engage in politics based upon the ideals that we hold dear. And I still believe and have great hope in the fact. that Americans do believe in what this country was founded upon and what we're really about. I think so, too. And as you were talking, I was just jotting down some things because, and you and I chatted before this segment, Democrats are about tearing things down. You said that. And that's not what we're about. We're not about tearing things down. But as I was thinking, I just jotted down, don't let the lies spread anymore. We should have corrected those lies 30 years ago when random Republicans were described as Hitler, fascist. This language is not new. This language is old. We rolled her eyes. We thought it was, you know, it's just them. They're out there cranks or whatever. Do not let those kinds of pejoratives stand because those are lies. Correct those lies. Correct the lies, generally, if you can. Don't let the lies stand anymore. I mean, you look at Wikipedia, you look at, you know, some of these news outlets that are posting flat out lies. Charlie Kirk was not a white supremacist. He was not a theocratic fascist. He was none of those things. So don't let those lies stand. Don't go into hiding like we're want to do because you're afraid that your car might get keyed or something. And then... Don't tolerate what aboutism. Don't don't play the dance. Well, both sides or what about this? And I think if those, if we do those four things and then, you know, and then think of how we can build a culture where we can, you know, help our neighbor in reality, even if our neighbor is a Democrat and the Democrats told our neighbor to hate us. Oh, who knows? I mean, Charlie Kirk was on his way to doing that with young people, and I certainly think that if young people can learn that lesson, so can wait. Well, and TPE USA is going to be around. I mean, they're still incompetent hands. Tyler Boyer is going to help run this. Erica, obviously, is going to be involved with this. You know, there's a real understanding.
amongst people that they want to be able to operate their lives in a way that will be significant to them. We don't need government help to do that. You know, the seeds of this, as you rightly point out, have been there for some time. But this became a problem in earnest when Barack Obama announced himself as the community organizer in chief. We are on the back of community organization, which really is just big government effort, expressed specifically. by the fact that we have been funding NGOs through the government that are really political organizations. The government has no place in funding political operations. It is supposed to be a neutral arbiter of our liberties. And so we do need to reassert that and say, government, get out of the way, stop doing all the things you're doing. We want to live our lives. And I think we need to assert that culturally and politically. I agree. Oh, and I think politically as well. And in terms of those NGOs, you're exactly correct. The Trump administration needs to follow through on Stephen Miller's threat yesterday, which is we are going to investigate these NGOs. If there is criminal culpability, we are going to prosecute. And if there is political action, we are going to defund. All of that. should have been the, if not number one goal among the top goals of the GOP, elected GOP, when DOGE exposed so much of it, you take the DOGE reports, you actualize the frustration that people have for our tax money, which is now $37 trillion in debt, for funding these operations, and it ends. You simply end it. And they'll fight you in courts, what they do, and they're going to call your names, it's what they do. But while the people who can do that, do that, the rest of us should be down here in the ether, you know, kind of taking a lesson and inspiration from Turning Point in Charlie Kirk and taking a lesson in inspiration from why Donald Trump managed to get Republicans, Democrats, black people, white people, working class people, white collar people to come together around an idea that America can be awesome. Well, and listen, by the way, Kash Patel also in his hearings today up on Capitol Hill made it very clear that they are investigating these NGOs. When you look back at the L.A. riots, the L.A. No Kings riots, the organization that was primarily coordinating all that. receive millions of dollars of government money from California government institutions and half a million dollars from the Biden administration. That money is really problematic. It needs to go away. But I'll tell you one thing, and it certainly has a strong political component to it, but it's a cultural thing. We need to go and demand of our educational institutions that they let go everybody.
that has been praising the death of Charlie Kirk that are on their employment roles. Just extract that out of our government institutions. By the way, I want to get rid of the monopoly of government education, and we need to do that. Again, this has some political implications. But right now, the educational institutions of this country are running our culture. particularly through young people. Now, it was very heartening to see that Donald Trump received 53% of the 18 to 24-year-old vote last year because he went into the places where they live and breathe and listen. You know, he went on Theo Vaughn. You can talk about all the podcasts that young people listened to, and they were actually inspired. by Donald Trump. But that was a way to bypass this stranglehold on our culture that our education system has had on us. Primary K-12 education and secondary university education. 100%. So we do need to address those directly. You bust the union. That's got to be on a priority list. Somebody. You got to get rid of the AFT, the NEA. They got to go because they're not. there to represent the financial career employment rights of teachers. They are there to promote radical politics. And if you don't believe me, you can look up any national conference agenda from any year, last year, this year, going back probably 40 years, go read their agenda. None of it has to do with education, all to do with radical political demands that are going to be promoted in K-12 education and in college education. I could not agree more with that. I've been saying it for a long time. That's why Bill Ayers in Venezuela, speaking when Hugo Chavez was in attendance, the motor force of revolution begins in the schools. We never figured that out. They did. And now we're behind the eight ball on it, right? As they say, or perhaps a more appropriate metaphor. For some people we're behind the gun. Yeah, absolutely. That's worth saying. By the way, Randy Wigengarten of the American Federation for Teachers is right now, and I think Corey DeAngelis posted this, I mean, she's right now involved in events that are intended to radicalize teachers and radicalize students in this philosophy. Listen, there's another thing, and I'll text it to you later. But I just saw a lady who was in a college class, and she was asked what she thought about Charlie Kirk, and she asserted generally, I'm cutting it real short here, but she asserted that some people don't get free speech. And then she said she was in a class on Chinese communism, and she said the textbooks.
taught that now said that some people don't deserve free speech so that they cannot undermine the revolution. Well, I mean, what more evidence do you need about what's behind all this? The leftist philosophy. is a malice philosophy, which is to shut down free speech, to intimidate and physically and otherwise intimidate people from speaking truth in the public square. Amen, that's right. We are in a fight for truth in this country, and we need to assert that strongly. Yes, and at every level you can assert that, including elected representatives. Jim Path, the conservative caucus, the conservative caucus. dot com is where people can find more information. I always appreciate you coming on the program. Thanks, Vicki. Thank you, Jim. And we will take a break on the Vicki McKenna show. I'll be right back.
Okay, Congressman Tom Tiffany is standing by, and I'm very pleased to have him on the phone, I think. Hi, Tom. Hey, I'm with you, Vicki. Sorry, I'm a minute later. You're a minute late. I didn't know my mic was live, you know. All right, Congressman Tom Tiffany, thank you for being on the show. So, um, but. Yeah. And he provided a great service to us America.
I mean, we are in a nation where 50% of this country believes that political enemy should be punished by death. imprisonment or financial ruin. So, you know, as someone who has served in Congress for a number of years now, but you were also in the state legislature and knowing that it's both a federal and a state and a cultural problem, you know, I ask you to weigh in on that.
Are we going to, you know, we're going to be Venezuela. We're going to be China, Russia, or whatever. Well, Charlie Kirk didn't turn his head at the right time and unfortunately. They were going after we learned yesterday turning point, but the RNC, the Republican Attorney's General Association, they were going after Trump's campaign lawyers, including my friend who is still dealing with this.
Early on of what the left was willing to do in Wisconsin back during the Walker years, 2011, 12, 13 through that period of time, we witnessed what they are willing to do to hold on to political power. Truppus. And by the way, also went after the mayor of Wausau. When is Josh Call going to stop his witch hunt? It's clear he is a graduate of Perkins Coy. which will do anything to maintain. That's Mark Elias's law firm people, Perkins Coy. That is the Spengali of Lawfares law firm. It is the Democrat fixer. brute apo research law firm. It's not about the law for them. It's about political power for them. He wants to run for governor. That's what I think he's doing. I think he's trying to out-left, out-flank the left. There are a number of, you know, left is Kilda Royce, by the way, just through her hat in the ring. I think you're familiar with Kilda Royce. Sarah Rodriguez, who's basically the Tony Evers administration, it's Ivers 2.0. Well, they believe in socialism. Francesca Hong now has come out officially.
She is the standard bearer for the Democrat Party of Wisconsin at this point. They are open about it. They used to be shy about it 10 years ago, tried to cover it up. They want socialism, which has worked so many times in history, right, Vicki? And we'll be right back on the Vicki McKenna Show. All right. That's it for the show today coming up on tomorrow's program. When I do a deep dive into the funding networks, there is... a big blob of NGOs that are interconnected, some of which are funded by the United States government, some of which are funded by dark money organizations. And the dollars into those dark money organizations come from where? We want to look at that because maybe for the very first time we've got the FBI interested in trying to unpack the left-wing networks that have brought us to this point in this country. Everybody have a great afternoon. We'll see you back here on the Vicki McKenna show tomorrow. Mom, can I have Lingo Kids? Dad, Lingo Kids, please! When did we become the Lingo Kids' house? No idea.
