I would say the ceasefire is on massive life support where the doctor walks in and says, sir, your loved one has approximately a 1% chance. A living. Yeah. And this may be one of the reasons you saw a missile and drone attack striking the UAE and Kuwait. The UAE still has not publicly acknowledged it. This is Wall Street Journal reporting, but there seemed to be some good sources at the moment behind this. Iran has launched more than 2,800 missiles and drones at the UAE during this conflict thus far. Airports, energy infrastructures, and population centers. Who else is going to take part? Because what these Arab nations want is for the United States to end this. It's not to stop, but to end the Iranian regime. That's why the Saudis said you can't fly in our airspace, because Trump kind of stopped taking out what is their biggest threat, the area's biggest threat. And this is a great example of it, of it not only happening in the cable news world, but still happening in what we would affectionately call the swamp. Listen to John Brennan, almost with pride, discuss how it is that the DOJ, And the CIA are still engaging. Listen. He has succeeded largely in turning DOJ and the FBI into political arms of his political operation. What still exists in the system to slow that down? I think as Liz mentioned, there's still a legion of professionals in the law enforcement environment, the Department of Justice, as well as the CIA and other places, the ones who are refusing to follow politically motivated prosecutions. Find who they are and throw them out. Fire them or put them in jail. Now, because he's talking about politically motivated, who cares what he has to say? If there are anyone, anyone within the DOJ, anyone within the CIA who isn't following the orders of the president of the United States, which are lawful, throw them out. They don't get to make this call, this decision. They don't like it, so they're going to stand up on principle. Go at principle on a street corner. Because you're not standing up on principle. That's the point. You're standing up on your political ideology, and your ideology is trash. If John Brennan agrees with you, your ideology is trash. It's leftist nonsense. And what he is saying is there are people within these groups that run the country that are working against the duly elected president, against you. And that's the story. That's John Brennan's story. He's working against you. He believes that he should be allowed to work against you. He is convinced that you are the enemy. It's not Trump. It's not elected this person. It's not appointed that person. It's you for voting for him. When you believe the voter is the enemy while you feel well emboldened to do anything. Putting down the voter, attacking the voter, taking away the rights of the voter, curtailing the voter's free speech. How do you do that? By limiting their duly elected representatives. This is what's happening. And this is what happened in the first term, and according to John Brennan, still happening. Keep throwing these people out. We need more doge, not less. The new maps for Alabama. Has anybody checked on Hakeem Jeffries? Tony Katz, 93 WIBC, good morning. They are losing this redistricting fight. And for the record, Indiana should have redistricted. We were wrong. We were wrong. And I brought up Senator Mike Bachich earlier. He was a no on redistricting. No on redistricting. Hey, you can't charge me with drunk driving because I'm a member of the state Senate. It had to wait until they were out of session. Okay. And then, of course, he now wants to legalize marijuana. And my fear is they're going to legalize it for a certain group of people. Certain people who have certain businesses. They're going to be the only people allowed to sell this. And that's just nonsense. Nonsense. If what we're going to legalize is medical marijuana. Just because you own a certain type of business doesn't make you an expert and doesn't make you more professional. It doesn't make you more prepared. It's all a lie. It's a scam and it's a lie. And we cannot allow it if that's the plan. Now, we cannot also allow maps that are racially gerrymandered. Yes, I accept the fact that gerrymandering exists. No, I don't like it. You want to change how we draw maps altogether? Fine by me. But since it's a political process, state by state, here we are living in the real world. The Supreme Court lifted the block on the Alabama map. There was a decision made by a lower court that would block a map in Alabama because they have to have two majority black districts. But we already know via the decision of Louisiana versus Calais, you cannot have districts based on race because that's racist. No, no, it's only racist when you do it, says the political left. Sure. It's not the way this works. That's not how any of this works. They're being called out for the longstanding bigotry that they have engaged in under the guise of quote unquote fairness. They have been stealing seats for decades based on what they claimed was fairness, which is, of course, bigotry. So this is now going to change the map. And Republicans might pick up another seat in Alabama. And the left is losing their mind. Out of their heads. Now the left also thinks that none of this should matter right now. You can implement these things later, all while they're still trying to fight them. Understand what they have said, whether it's the decision in Virginia, whether it's Louisiana versus Calais, these other places. You cannot bring in new maps now, even though the old maps have been ruled unconstitutional. You have to go with the old map, the unconstitutional map. And I say, no, you don't. And I go a step further. We need to delay election day. The maps aren't right. Can't vote on an unconstitutional map. Now, that's not going to happen, but it is the answer. Alabama.

We also have President Trump saying that he would suspend the federal gas tax because gas prices are high because oil prices are high because there is a war with Iran. And for some reason, we haven't finished killing these people. Oh, Tony, you're such a warmonger. There's nothing left. What are we doing? End this already. So you now have gas that's back over $100 a barrel. And Trump wants to suspend the gas tax saying, I think it's a great idea. We're going to take off the gas tax for a period of time. When gas goes down, we'll let it phase back in. Nah. Why let it phase back in? Just take it off. The gas tax is 18.4 cents a gallon. That's what you pay the federal government for the luxury of buying gas. That's what you pay for the luxury of going to work to pay them taxes. I don't know why people don't look at it like this. I think they should look at it like this. If it's diesel, it's 24.4 cents. It's gross. It's wrong. And if we can suspend it for a couple months, we can suspend it for the rest of the year. If we can spend it for the rest of the year, why don't we just suspend it for the rest of your term, Mr. President? We'll just start there. We'll just start there. Nice, easy to do. Why? A beautiful day for a race man. Well done. Well played. How to go? I think generally it went pretty well. I think we were all figuring we're going to chase Alex Palo around. And, you know, that's a good thing because he's a generational talent. But to have the race end up the way it did with a pretty cool battle between Maluccas and Lungard, it turned out to be a great one. Had a great crowd, enjoyed hanging out with fans in the GA area. That's my favorite part of that race. And excited to get things kicked off. But more excited to get things kicked off today. But like most of us that love the Indianapolis Murphy Speedway, the Indy 500 is what it's all about. Let's dig in. By the way, it should be known as the Sancio selfie. If this is what they're going to do, turn it into a thing. I mean, and remember who said it first. Thank you. Let's talk a 500. I'm not going to ask you about sellouts or anything like that. That's boring talk. I'll save that for later. Who's in this race? Do we have a bump day? What can you tell us about how many drivers we're going to see? Yeah, unfortunately, we don't have a bump day. We've got 33 cars, so that means we've got 33 folks that will start practice today. And at some level, sleep better this week because they know that they're all going to have an opportunity to start the 500. Like most of our fans, it's a disappointing moment. Most of our traditional fans, right, that just love it like the way we do. Bumping is kind of part of it, and that's something we're committed to continuing to try and make sure that we have. We had a couple things happened this year that... put us in a different spot. Premlin not coming back. That was two cars. And then with the war and Iran losing Colton, who was going to come run, but F2 is now running in Canada on that weekend. So we lost three cars there. And right now, let's just get the 33 going and focus on race day. So we've got a 33 in the field talking to Doug Bowles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. You've got a fair amount of rookies going on here. I'm counting two, three. How many rookies do we have in this field? I think we have four in this field when you add Jacob Abel, who doesn't run the full season, and he'll be one of the cars. He was actually the one driver that got bumped from the field last year. So, yeah, there are rookies in the field. Kyle Colette's a rookie, Dennis Hager's a rookie, Mick Schumacher's a rookie. So you've got those four rookies. Mick Schumacher, an interesting story, Michael Schumacher's son, trying to figure the IndyCar series out.

So it's going to be exciting to see how he can do. And his teammate, Graham Ray Hall, obviously getting on the podium this past weekend, that team has some momentum. So we'll see how his first Indy 500 feels. Talking to Doug Bowles of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, walk me through what we can expect this week, this weekend, and going into next week. What are the days like? What can the fans be looking forward to? So I think what you see today, tomorrow and Thursday is a lot of focus on race day setup. Teams just really trying to get a balance of their cars. So you'll see some speeds, but not the bigger speeds we'll start to see on Friday when they get their qualifying boost, which gives them an additional 75 plus horsepower. So Friday you start seeing those speeds. And then on Saturday, Saturday we'll set the field from 16 to 33. Those folks will not do anything again until Monday. And then on Sunday, you'll see the fast 12 shootout. And we have something new this year, 10th through 16, 10th through 15 on Saturday. Have the option if they want to try and re-qualify on Sunday. And the fastest three of that group of six then goes into the fast 12. I've talked to a lot of drivers yesterday who are excited about that. If you have a challenge or you didn't quite get to the fast 12 on Saturday, it gives them an opportunity to really do that. So I think we'll see Saturday should be really exciting, and I hope Sunday is too. So we may not have bumping out of the field, but we've got bumping out of position. Well, here's where I am, man. I'm a traditionalist. So it's in my, yeah, we'll get people moving out of position. But in my mind, you got to say bumping for when we got. We've got those 34 plus cars. So I don't know what we're going to call this yet. I'm sure people will call it bumping. But in my mind, I think most of us that are traditional bumping is the term for really bumping someone. So at least I have to think about a way that we talk about it differently. But it should be really fun as you're right. As you move people in and out of those fast 9 as well as the faster 15 on Saturday. I think we should call it the indie shuffle. It's just shuffling where everyone's going to land. I'm all about the naming things today, Doug Bowles. I am, I am on it. The Sancio selfie and the indie shuffle. We got a couple good, you should get, we get you on the creative department here. Yet somehow I have not seen a single check. It is nonsense. I tell you, speaking of seeing a single check, life is good in IndyCar. The viewership is solid. The relationship with Fox, I think, has been an absolute winner, certainly from a fan perspective. But here we are in the world of Roger Penske owning the Speedway, and we're only seeing the sales grow. Where are we? What's happening? What's the excitement? Well, you're absolutely right. Television numbers are great. And having a partner like Fox who is talking about IndyCar across all its platforms and opportunities to introduce people who aren't race fans necessarily to our stars and our sport. that this place for the Indy 500 grandstands is going to sell out for the second year in a row, which is really exciting. And that's a testament to the fans. That's really more about fans than it is about anything we do at the Speedway or what Fox does. Our fans are so passionate about the Indy 500. And they bring people back and they keep coming back. And I tell you what, I wish I could spend my entire day out just shaking hands with fans and thanking them because without fans, we don't get to have this great event. So things are good. So did you just announce that this is a sellout? I did not. I did announce it it will be, and at which I've been saying for quite some time now, and we are on the verge of it. We're going to take the credit for it. We're going to say that it got announced right here. That's how we're going to put this story out. You can't take it back. No takes these backsies. We're making our centers better. We're making them more relevant. The customers, particularly the Gen Z customers, want to come to our centers. You see that in traffic growth and you're seeing it in retailer sales. It is quite interesting. that what you're seeing from the younger demo is, okay, okay, we get it. You can get everything online, but where do you actually go to have a tactile experience? We want to actually touch something. We want to be connected to something and not just the stupidity on our phone and doom scrolling and buying everything. We want to actually experience the experience. And Gen Xers are absolutely right. We experience them all like nobody else. Gen X experience going to the mall and spending the night at the mall and doing the whole thing in the mall and the life being the mall. And it was indeed an experience and it was better. It was more connected. It was more interesting. It forced you into more situations that created more value. I think Gen Z wants this. Who wants to be this insulated? Who wants to be this isolated? I know some people joke and say, me. Well, sure, okay. We want you to be isolated too. Please don't come out of the basement. Most people want to be connected. They want to be able to reach. And so this is, this is an interesting thing. And it creates, it's a bad experience. We told the story the other day about a place in New York, of all places. And they're selling VHS tapes and VCRs. People don't want everything on their phone anymore. They want to be able to look through their CD collection. They're selling CD players. I think it's groovy. I think it is fun that people want to be able to look at the album.

Somebody had text me the other day, do I have album covers on my walls? All right? And I do. Now, they're comedy albums, right? So I have more to put up, as I've discussed before, but I have Mort Saul, Bob Newhart, and Steve Martin on the wall over here. You know, but people want that. They want that experience, right? If you don't understand what it is to put the needle on the record, I don't know what to tell you. You're missing out. It isn't better the way you do it. At the very least, experience it and then decide if you still like it your way, but I'll do it your way. I'm not here to tell you no, but to have never experienced it is to not know. It just is. I got one vote for Renan Stimpy, which I went with, that was the first thing that came to me when it got a little cartoony. But I mean, I remember the show. I know a bloated sac of protoplasm when I see it. I really don't know what this is. Um, that is weird. I have, I, I am at a loss. Um, and, uh, I'm gonna go with the chat room. They say it's dinosaurs. What the heck is dinosaurs? And how does the chat room always know it? Oh, the chat room is very special. You know that after the show they study, they listen to 10 TV theme songs a day to be prepared for this. I think that's it. What is dinosaurs? When did it air? I think early 2000s. It's like a claymation, CGI type of animation. Dinosaurs is like a family show, but they're dinosaurs. Huh. Ran for like three years. It did. It ran for three years. Well, according to the chat room, it was a great show. It was a great show. These are people that don't go anywhere. According to the housebound chat room, a great show. All right. I'll believe them. I will believe them. On Tony Katz today, at noon, the president is heading to China. What will come from it?

Are we going to see now some movement from China to help with Iran? Are we going to see some new deal on whether or not there's going to be an invasion of Taiwan? We're going to see them stop stealing intellectual property regarding AI? There is a real question as to what is the goal of this trip? What do you expect to get out of it? And with Iran being the front and center subject, how do you expect to get anything? To see anything from this. There's nothing to see from it. That's the, I think, the big story. Everything else is in the cloud of Iran. Will China help? Or has China been trying to help the Iranians fight us? Everything we should be doing regarding China is working to move manufacturing out and further economically choke them. That's where Operation Economic Fury needs to be. Just ruining. the Chinese economy, which is already in a pretty ugly spot. Oh, they could talk about they're doing this and they're doing that. It is bad times in the Chinese Kami Kingdom and I could not be more pleased. I don't want them having good times. I want them failing and I want the people rising up and I want the communism to be done. How do you help aid and abet this? You make it impossible for them. to hire and make it impossible for them to grow. That's how you do it. And if they're aiding and abetting Iran, I wonder if you can just let that go by the wayside or there needs to be some type of very public humiliating response.
