Speaking of elections, Tennessee had a special election last night. And a lot of people were wondering if this young socialist chick, Afton Bain, was going to pull the upset, narrator. She didn't. It stayed as a Republican congressional seat in the 7th District in Tennessee. This is like the Nashville area extended parts of Tennessee. This is a real like totally random special election too, wasn't it? So the congressman got a sweet gig in the private sector making Boku bucks. And he was like, screw you government, I'm out. So they had to fill his seat. So they had this emergency election. Yeah. So nobody else was on the ballot. It was just these two. And this Bain chick, she was the one who, again, Nashville is part of the area that she was looking to serve. There was some video where she's just crapping all over Nashville. Talking about how she hates the Bachelorette parties and all that kind of stuff. And not to mention, you know, won't give a definitive answer on whether the police should get more money. I mean, you could go on and on about it. Right. People were curious, though, because you had the Zohran Mamdani win in New York. There's a socialist that leads Seattle and polling. This is kind of the trend right now. And... It was closer than people think or thought rather, but the Republicans still won by like 7 to 10%. But you got to remember, this was also a one-off election. There wasn't a lot of turnout. Right. Local elections, despite what we talk about all the time, have crappy turnout. That's just the way that it is. Especially when it's a special election and a random... Night in December. Right. But that didn't mean that Kaitlan Collins still didn't have some hurt feelings last night on CNN. Oh, no. Here she is trying to explain to Scott Jennings that Afton Bain. Bad idea. She didn't really stand for defunding the police, even though she's talked about it multiple times. She ran on defund the police. There were her past comments on that, but she said that that was basically when she was a private citizen, before she was representing the state legislature. I mean, that wasn't like a core tenant of her campaign. She talked about affordability. So I think my question is, is do you really think every, that's what every Democrat looks like? I mean, I don't think that was the main. That was something the criticism of hers, obviously, in past comments. But that wasn't the, you know, tenant of her campaign or anything. She got asked about it repeatedly and refused to back away from it. Yes.

Look, I'm just telling you, this is what Democrats believe and this is what their base wants. It's why she wouldn't go back on it. I was just a private citizen. Oh, my gosh, we've never held what you said as a private citizen against you in a political campaign. For goodness sakes. What a ridiculous way to just maintain a position that nobody likes. This is the median Democrat position. She is the median Democrat candidate, and that's what their base wants. So that's what we're in for. And Republicans need to draw bright lines on this stuff and every race in the country. Yeah, so she said it when she was a private citizen, but she was asked about it on the record when she was running for office and she wouldn't back away from it. No, she wouldn't definitively stand up for what she believed in. I need to figure out what time exactly every night he's on. Is he on every night on CNN? I hate CNN. I don't know. I need to figure that out. He's part of a panel, but I don't know when they do the panel. Because, well, it's on CNN and nobody watches it. It's The Hammer and Nigel show.
