Do you believe these characters are weird of us? So let's rock you. To Iran, choose wisely. I pray you choose a deal, which is within your grasp for the betterment of your people and for the betterment of the world. In the meantime, the War Department is locked and loaded. That's your secretary of war and our friend of the show. Pete Hegseth, speaking earlier this morning delivering a message to Iran, except the DLR. We go back to bombing the hell out of you. And so far today, talks about talks, about talks. There are some meetings Donald Trump held a chopper presser earlier, seemed pretty optimistic. They're not going to have to extend the ceasefire hammer. What do you think? Well, I mean, there are some good headlines coming out of today. Yeah. The 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. So that's good. But in terms of the United States and Iran, we all know what the Iranians want to do. They want to keep dragging this thing on and on and on and have talks to lead to talks all the while they're in the background scrambling, trying to put some sort of military together. to continue the fight. Maybe not even so much military is nuclear enrichment, nuclear bombs, because most of their military, at least, you know, a lot of the Navy. Even the good ships down at the bottom of the ocean. The new ones. The new Iranian naval ships, bottom of the ocean. Here's a little bit more from that press conference earlier today with the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. To be clear, threatening to shoot missiles and drones at ships, commercial ships that are lawfully transiting international waters, that is not control. That's piracy. That's terrorism. The United States Navy controls the traffic going in and out of the strait because we have real assets and real capabilities. And we're doing this blockade, performing it with less than 10% of America's naval power.
The math is clear. We're using 10% of the world's most powerful Navy, and you have 0% of your Navy. I love it. That's real control, and we have a long track record of dealing with pirates and terrorists. I love it when the Secretary of War brings up the fact that we destroyed your military with 10% of ours. You have no Navy. We're using 10%. And we're controlling the straight. You're not getting any money. If I were you, maybe you come back to the table and have some more talks. Hell, a lot of those tankers are coming to the Gulf of America to fill up. And they don't need your ass. Economically. What's happening right now to Iran might be more consequential than any bomb that's been dropped on that country. Totally. Because they're missing out on $400 plus million a day, a day with the United States controlling the straight. So if that's not enough, now Trump has sent your guy, Nige, Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary after the bank accounts. Love Scott Bessent. in a new thing that Pete Hegseth announced called Operation Economic Fury. Secretary Scott Bessent and our friends over at Treasury are launching Operation Economic Fury as well, maximizing economic pressure across the entirety of the government. To Iran, choose wisely. So basically, if you're a country that is still doing business with Iran and you've got Iranian money in your accounts, that could be viewed as an act of war, an act of terrorism, and the United States could absolutely use every power they have from hackers to legislation to bleed those bank accounts dry. But meanwhile, China's kind of scratch of their heads sitting back thinking, man, we were getting oil pretty damn cheap from Iran in Venezuela, for that matter. And not so much anymore. No. What are some other options here? This is going, this is not getting any better for us. Now, right now, it seems like things are going pretty well for the United States. The ceasefire has held up. There's talks for more talks, which I guess could be viewed as encouraging. The Iranians are not making any money. Things are going pretty well. But are you seeing that being reported at the national level by the media? I know, I know, me and my drugs. What drugs are you taken today, Hammer? The Secretary of War had a little problem with the way the media is portraying what's happening. The press corps to the American media, as I just can't help but notice the endless stream of garbage, the relentlessly negative coverage, you cannot resist peddling, despite the historic.
an important success of this effort and the success of our troops. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what side some of you are actually on. It's incredibly unpatriotic. This same press corps, not this exact same press corps, but at least an older press corps, bent over backwards during the Biden administration to explain away. You explained away the disastrous and disgraceful Afghanistan withdrawal. You called it the greatest airlift in American history. Good Lord. It's almost like you're cheering only for one side. And I know he's being sarcastic, but it's not hard to figure out why the mainstream media, the legacy media is all in on making Donald Trump and the administration look awful. Right. It's not hard to figure out. It's hard to figure out which side you're on. No, we know which side you're on. Right. And the reason we know the side is it's... blatantly obvious like if the media were to come out and say hold on we're not on sides our job is to report the facts all right that would be the proper thing to say but does anybody believe that's actually been happening it's always been negative against donald trump and it was always positive or covering up something under the Biden administration. And when I say covering up something, we're talking about the mental acuity of the vegetable in chief that was allegedly calling the shots. Everybody knew that dude was a vegetable, but they covered up for it. Jake Tapper, all the main networks, they all knew. Speaking of Pete Hegseth, House Democrats have already unveiled articles of impeachment. against the Secretary of War. Now, they know they don't have the numbers right now. But if they win the House and the midterms, instead of making it Donald Trump the first thing they do, they want to go after Pete Hegseth. Good luck. Whatever. I mean, go for it. I have a feeling if things are going the way they're going right now, Donald Trump is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize. And... Mark the tape, okay? Because between what's going on now with the Gulf of America and Donald Trump getting things in line with Venezuela and becoming energy independent and becoming one of the largest exporters of oil and or energy in the world. and not having to rely on Saudi Arabia or anybody in the Middle East. You guys do your thing over there. You try to keep Iran in line. We're going to try to do things our way over here in this hemisphere.
Okay, yeah. Good luck with that. Good luck with the impeachment. And that's all the Democrats have going into midterms is impeachment. Yeah. It's not a great plan for the economy. It's not a great plan for border security. It's not. It's impeach Trump, impeach Pete Hegseth, and let's play the hits again. That's all they have. Nodge, if you need a reason to drink tonight. Happy 61st birthday two actor John Cryer. No way. So my question to you and our brain trust and the audience, the folks in the YouTube chat, the folks that tweet is John Cryer best known as being Ducky and Pretty and Pink. Blaine? His name is Blaine? That's a major appliance. That's not a name. Or. or is he best known for being Alan Harper and two and a half men? What the hell is that? Oh, damn. I'm out of gas. How could you be out of gas? I don't know. I just put $3 in the other day. $3? Actually, $250. I bought a Milky Way. I know him as, uh, uh, Ducky. Sorry, I never really watched two and a half men. Two and a half men was a good show because it was really just Charlie Shane being himself. Yeah, it was huge. I'm not dismissing how big of a show that was. But to me, growing up, Pretty and Pink Ducky, oh yeah. To me, that was it. So I'm going to go Alan Harper. All right, I get it. You're going to go, Ducky. Let us know, John Cryer, best known for Pretty and Pink or Two and a Half Men. At Hammer and Nigel or jump in the YouTube chat. What is Toyota affordability? It all starts with buying smart. You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel show. I've got a few years. Yeah, hi. I'm Nigel. Jason Hammer's right over there. There's a research team out there that is introduced. I can't believe this is a new thing. I can't believe it's out there. Not out there yet. A prototype for a THC breathalyzer test that could make roadside marijuana testing a thing, Hammer. You ever been pulled over?
On weed? With all the states that are legalizing this, you're right. I thought by now somebody would have had something on the market. Well, I mean, there's always a blood test that you could do. I'm assuming there's a blood test that could tell you. I don't know if, depending on what laws are from state to state, you could consent to the blood test or you could not and then they could do it. They could get a warrant. 24 states have legalized pot for recreational purposes, which is, which, you know, that's a lot of pot. You still. It's illegal to drive on pot. You know, this is where I disagree with our friend Rick Snyder, the FOP president. I think we disagree here. I am for the legalization of marijuana, but I want it regulated. You shouldn't be able to drive while smoking a J. Shouldn't be able to drive smoking weed because you can't do that with alcohol. Treat it as the same thing. And I also don't want to see people outside, you know, just making everything stink. Like, I'm all right if you want to legalize it. But, man, just make it so you have to smoke it in your own home or something like that. That in Vegas, isn't it? When you're walking outside. I get Vegas a Sin City. Right? That's kind of their thing. But you can't even stand in front of the Bellagio Fountains now without feeling like you're at a Willie Nelson concert. It is overwhelming. And my fear here is that if it does get legalized, eventually that I don't want to see kids coming down here for the 500 parade or you know the Boy Scout convention when those kids come here and those little rug rats are running all over downtown and it's just nothing but a cloud of weed because if you've been to a city where it's legal hell it's not legal indie and you can still smell pockets of it when you walk around parts of downtown Oh, you can smell it when you're driving behind a guy on 465. You ever had that happen before? Oh, yeah. You're driving behind somebody that's token up. And this is what I'm talking about, though. Like this habitual troll on the YouTube chat, Brad Sowinski, nobody drinks and drives because there's a law. He's trying to be a smart ass. Like, look, I get it. People will break the law. But do you just want it to be a free-for-all, you stupid jackass? Like, I'm so tired of, like, the casual, passive-aggressive-aggressive troll. Like, if you're going to come in here and be a pain in the ass and disagree, that's fine. But you're going to look me in the eye, or at least jump on social media, I should say, and say that you don't believe there should be laws in place for drinking and driving and smoking marijuana while you're driving a car. Brad Swinsky, you're getting stupider by the day, and you're welcome to say what you want. But just note, everybody's laughing.
you because you're a moron oh i've been corrected in the chat by m dog oh what did you do to m dog Nigel a blood test is unreliable because pot can stay in your system for a month see there you go yeah but what if you get pulled over that night Right. All I'm asking for is a little regulation because I don't want Cheech to be driving down the street going five miles per hour in the fast lane on 465 causing an accident. The same way I don't want Joe Hogsett driving hammer drunk allegedly on the fast lane on 465 causing an accident. Did you ever get into the Cheech and Chong movies? Growing up, I feel like it was maybe just a little past my time. More like our parents era. Yeah. Yeah. Towards the end of like right when I was born, maybe a little, a few years after. I go back and, yeah, it's funny. Right. You'll laugh at it, but it's nothing that I would, like, plan my whole day around. Now, when I was in college, I had such stoner buddies, like, I would have skipped class today. We're just going to watch Cheech and Chong movies and listen to Cypress Hill and, you know, ruin our sperm count. Who's in? I don't know. I think I'll go to class. I love it was actually part of the plan to ruin the sperm count. It's what the tweeds do. It's what those 20-20 twins do. Hey, man, you want to get together today and ruin our sperm count? I learned it by watching you. It's the Hammer and Nigel show. Can we skip to the good part? You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel show. All right, from the people who. brought you legal stuff. It's Time Hammer and Allison for some stories right here in Indiana. Let's do some Indiana stuff. Tenderloins, Euker, Basketball, Indiana Stuff. That's it. That encompasses Indiana stuff right there. For sure. Indie Public Safety and Criminal Justice Committee. actually met last night. Now we say actually because in the past, they've had a track record of not meeting very often despite. You know, in years past, homicides being through the roof here in Indy. You know, there have been a lot of high-profile crimes from Fourth of July and the kids being on the circle to the Dutch soldiers being murdered in front of the Hampton Inn. And you would expect your city county council public safety criminal committee to get together all the time. Nah.
It's once in a while, but they did get together last night. And the IMPD chief, Tanya Terry, was there. And she's encouraging the city county council to bring back that amended curfew for the second straight year. Now, the amended curfew means that it would become then a violation, a finable. violation for kids under the age of 18 to be downtown past certain hours. Here is the IMPD chief. Keeping young people out of situations where they are more likely to become victims or be involved in violence is a priority and a shared responsibility that I think we all have. This is about safety, accountability, and awareness for both teens and their parents. It's not about punishment. It's about partnership and prevention. Boy, you really want to cut down on the crime. Don't let anybody under the age of 18 out at all without a parent or guardian. That would do it. Now, the problem is half these kids downtown have no idea who the guardian is. Who's your dad? I don't know. Okay, thanks. Well, you just made my point. So what this would mean is that... I'm all for it, by the way. I'm sure you are too. I don't want to speak for you, but yeah, I'm all for it, man. Yeah. Kids age 15 and 16 would need to be home by 11 on Friday and Saturday, 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and cannot be out in public before 5 a.m. on any day unless you... are working if you have a job or something like that. That's hilarious. I know, I know. Kids younger than 15 would not be allowed out past 9 p.m. or before 5 a.m. on any day. Now, this did pass through the committee last night. Okay. So it will go to the full city county council. And this isn't anything new. Michael Paul Hart was telling us about this the last time he came in and said, yeah, this is on the horizon again with the warmer weather coming, the summer months, school's going to be ending. school, like that's a deterrent to a lot of these kids. But once that happens, it's usually the perfect storm of nonsense happening in the overnight hours. But the question becomes, does IMPD have enough officers to deal with this? And what does deal with this really mean? They've got to take them to a holding facility, call their guardians, moms, and dads to come get them. That's what it means in fines. Like you mentioned at the beginning of the segment. But man, it seems like for a department that's already short, around 350 officers, having a couple people just babysitting the 15-year-old that's out at 1 o'clock in the morning on the circle. Yeah. I don't know. Is that the best use of their time?
Now, if that 15-year-old is acting like a clown, lock his ass up. You treat him like an adult. How many times are we had stories where we talk about 15-year-olds, sometimes even younger, committing heinous, violent, sometimes murders. Carjackings. I mean, murder, not only that, but I mean, I feel like we hear a lot about carjackings. Right. In that age range. So if you're out with your buddies and you're underage and it's 1 o'clock in the morning, 2 o'clock in the morning, it's a good chance you're probably up to no good. You should probably be somewhere, ideally home at that point. And I'm happy that the IMPD is trying to take a stand here and say, listen. We're not going to have our downtown, our monument circle, our Georgia Street, our Meridian Street, our tourist areas, you know, ransacked by these out-of-control teens running around acting like clowns. I respect that. I get that. I just hope they have the bodies. to pull this off. You'll also have, you'll find a lot of out-of-control teens hanging outside of gas stations as well. That's sort of cold beer. Remember that argument? Remember that? I'd like to forget it. This is a true story. For those who don't remember, back when the Sunday sales debate was happening here in Indiana. Because we were one of the last states that would allow alcohol to be sold on Sunday. One of the arguments we heard. about convenience stores, gas stations, right? Not being able to sell a cold beer, because this was part of the whole big bill. Cold beer was that out-of-control teens would just be congregating around the aisle. That was a legitimate argument. What constitute... constitutes out of control teens hanging out in gas stations that serve cold beer. I think it's like that scene in Harold and Kumar where the extreme guys get in a kayak and they're trying to kayak through the 7-Eleven. I think that would be out of control teams. Those are out-of-control teens. This didn't happen when we had warm beer. Older folks like waving their arms. They're out of control. So stupid when you say it out loud. So dumb. More Indiana stuff. So by now, I'm sure many of you, and we shared it last night on our Twitter at Hammer and Nigel have seen this video. of what appears to be Mayor Joe Hogsett, boss hog set, leaving a liquor store with a big ass bag of stuff, man, like Santa on Christmas Eve. And he's going back to his car, which appears to be one of the Indy 500 pace cars. The Corvette. Yeah. For this year. Now, I don't know if this is real or not.
I don't know if this is AI or not. It looks real to me. Now, I'm a man that's made some fun AI videos. Oh, yeah, and I was the recipient of those fun videos, me and Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Bayhar. Hey, Joy was loving you. But I don't know if it's real or not. It looks real to me. Now, here's the thing. Like, In theory, Joe Hogsett didn't do anything wrong. No. Leaving the liquor store, getting into his car. But knowing the backstory and the rumors and allegations of Boss Joe Hogsett, then it becomes interesting because... I'm not the only one that's got stories of inebriated Joe Hogsett, allegedly, making an ass of himself in public. We've had speeches, there are stories, his personal life is in shambles. We had heard rumors. Fell down. Yeah, that the reason why he was not in town for the riots was that he was in a rehab facility for booze. Rumors, just rumors. Again. Just rumors from very, very, very, very, very good sources. So the fact that he's liquor store McGee, as somebody on Twitter pointed it out to me, liquor store McGee, heading to his car is somewhat of bad optics. If you're Joe, right? We don't know what was in the bag. He could have been buying club soda or orange juice. I know I always go to the liquor store when I want to buy OJ. You can't even finish that statement without laughing. Hey, whatever. If that's really him, he's like eff it. All right, this is my last. Stint at Mare. Are you sure? I don't care. Well, I'm not sure about that either. He can't get another job. He's totally going to run again. Liquor Store McGee, as a listener pointed out to us. Yeah, I don't know if it's real or not, but it's hilarious and it's so on brand because Joe Hawks said is such a human cigarette butt. That's what he is. He's a human cigarette butt. So what we decided to do. was making all-new record from Hammer and Nigel Records. Really? Our record label, Hammer and Nigel Records. Now, I reached out for help with this one. Okay. Our friend Mindy Winkler, who works at Hank FM. Love Mindy. The country station. Yeah. So knowing that she works at the country channel, we were listening to the number one song in America, Choose in Texas by Ella Langley. Yep. And we put this song together about Joe Hogsett.
on the ballot. I run it for nothing. I'm running from things, but I run it for nothing. We got the mayor of hot sitting in the house. Me and him was drinking all day today. Just when I thought we'd got rid of liquor store McGee. Liquor Stor McGee. We should have known better that he'd run again here in Indy. And where were you on the night of the riots? The harassment under his watch looking at female staffers right in the crotch. That's my song said I can tell by. the way, he's stumbling around the room. Stumbling around the room. And judging by the smell of booze on his breath, he's been in the back since news. It doesn't take a crystal ball to see when there's riots, he's packed up and he leaves. I love drinking Jack all by himself. I love drinking. That's Joe Hawks said I can tell. There it is. New single from Hammer and Nigel Records. Bravo. That's Joe Hawks said, I can tell. The second season of Investigation on Discovery's Hollywood Demons, are you familiar with this program? I've seen commercials for it. They're going to focus on the Jerry Springer show. Yeah. Here's a preview of where Springer and the producer, Houston, reveal how people could be manipulated. I noticed pretty quick what the secret was. Here's how we got him to fight in the beginning on Springer. Let's say that I have two brothers in a conflict. When you're prepping the guests, you tell one of them, if your brother says something you don't like, you can yell at him, get up in his face. You can even spit on him. But whatever you do, don't hit him. Then you don't tell the other person any of that. Once you produce one person to get up and spit in someone's face, and then you don't give any instruction to the other one. The other one is going to haul off and knock the hell out of the one who did it. And boom, you got a fight. Oh, man, what a bunch of snakes. Right? But it produced ratings gold. It did too. For that show. For years, decades. It was a monster, whether you liked it or not. It was a monster, man. Hammer and Nigel. Do you believe these characters are weirdos. So let's rock.
Yeah, Hammer, Donald Trump brokering peace deals, left and right, or ceasefires? At the very least, a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which is a big deal because it's involving a broader war, involving the Gaza Strip, fighting on the Israel-Lebanon border is spilled over from that conflict, and Hezbollah is involved. Right. So it's a big deal. And knowing you've got... 10 days in theory, assuming nobody violates it, to try to end this thing. Because if you remember when the... ceasefire was issued between the United States and Iran. The very first thing Israel did was start fighting with the Iranians and their proxy groups in Lebanon. And I feel like Trump was a little ticked off. He didn't necessarily come out and say it. Tiny bit. But the U.S. was like, look, can you just give us five minutes here? We're trying to get peace talks going. No, those talks ultimately worry. failure because the you know nobodies that the iranians brought to the table didn't have the authority to approve anything but not that it would have mattered because the minute that that ceasefire from us and iran took place the israelis were like okay well don't mind us we're not involved in this Boom. Boom. Was that the infamous, and I could be wrong, correct me, but was that when Donald Trump said, they don't know what the F's doing? No, that was well before then. Okay, okay. Yes. All right, that was. I was waiting for another one, to be honest. Oh, really? I thought we would get a repeat. A second time. They don't know what the F's they're doing. Which I wouldn't have blamed him, actually. When you're trying to end, you know, potentially a nuclear war, you kind of need your allies to act like allies. And look, it doesn't make you a bad person to criticize Israel, right? You can be pro-Israel and support them as an ally and also say, they don't know what the bleep they're doing. You can do both things. We can walk and chew gum here. Another big issue, gas prices. We keep hearing, oh, man, all these new ships might be coming into the Gulf of America. They're going to be getting American oil. We've got all this oil. Drill, baby, drill. Meanwhile, for Joe Sixpack and the everyday working middle class family, you're going to the gas pump. You're still getting kicked in the taint. Gone down a little bit, but yeah, taint kicking is still in effect.
So last night, on the five, actually, Jessica Tarloff, who look, as much as we give praise to Scott Jennings for going on CNN, that liberal hellhole and defending conservative values, being a real conservative, I am man enough to admit, although I disagree with her on everything that comes out of her mouth. Jessica Tarloff does the same thing on the five. She's going into a room with Jesse Waters and Greg Gutfeld, some pretty big personalities, and she represents the liberal view. You don't have to like what she says, but I got respect because she's an actual liberal. That's something MSNBC doesn't do. Like they have a big panel of eight people and they all agree with each other up there. But anyway, Tarloff was popping off at the mouth about gas prices and I think Greg Gutfeld had it. How much your gas costs. There you go. There you go. You didn't care about that when Biden was president. We can actually show you why your gas is going up. We know why. We still don't know why gas went up under Biden. Which is a fair point. Biden's prices just went up because he's incompetent. Because he's Biden. Because he's Biden. Here there's a major war going on with. Well, an oil exporter. So, yeah, you could argue whether or not you're for this or against this, but we know why prices are high. And they're still not as high as when Biden was the president. And we really don't have any idea why they stayed that way for so damn long. Actress Elizabeth Banks. She's been in a bunch of stuff. I don't know if she's ever really the main star, but she's been in a ton of things. The pitch perfect movies, she's one of the announcers. She was the cute girl that worked in the store in the 40-year-old virgin. Oh, that's right. She was in the Hunger Games. She's been in a ton of things. Yeah. I think she hosts the remake of pressure luck on television now. Her career is going well. The check cash is, I'm sure. Yeah. She did a podcast where she says she can't understand why any white women voted for Donald Trump over Kamala Harris. She can't understand it. She can't comprehend it. Well, today on Fox, Dr. Sheila Nazarian. Now, she's this doctor on some reality show, but she also fled Iran as a child. Her family fled Iran as they were being threatened, like to be assassinated, basically, kind of like what we're seeing now. She absolutely went off and explained why she voted for Trump over Kamala Harris.
Well, you know, Kamala Harris posted on ex-yester war of choice, and Donald Trump is the only one helping these people in Iran. So Elizabeth Banks, this woman, Bita, is about to be gang-raped and publicly executed. And so are three more women. And they have been doing this to many young people every single day one or two public executions. So you're sitting there on your cushy couch talking about Kamala Harris. You claim to be a feminist. You claim to be a humanitarian. Where are you when the women need you? You're a fake. You are a hypocrite. You're of no help to anyone. So if you claim to be a feminist, you claim to be a humanitarian, you claim to be a good person, America. Iran isn't just a military war or peace in the Middle East or oil stabilization. This is a humanitarian issue. They are killing young people every single day. And the only president, the only one that has helped is President Trump. I think it's always a good idea when no-name actresses get involved in politics and voice their views. posted a photo on Twitter earlier today of a dog taking a crap. And it said, stand by downloading some celebrity opinions. And that's kind of where I'm at with Elizabeth Banks here. And good for Dr. Nazarian here. That was amazing. I wish we had more outspoken, fearless women like this. Like, because there are not very many of them, Nige. They are not. For whatever reason, like a lot of dudes are very proud to say they're conservatives. They're telling you why they voted for Trump over Biden. Dudes will do that, but not as many women. Hey, but she played the... The chick in the bookstore and a 40-year-old virgin. So her opinion counts and matters and is relevant, right? This Dr. Nazarian wasn't done. She also destroyed the American political left that for whatever reason has a fascination with extreme Islam. Yeah, the reason why my family escaped Iran on the back of a pickup truck while the Iranian border police was shooting at us to not escape. is because they put my father on a kill list because he was the chief medical officer, a physician affiliated with the Shah's hospital. Wow. I'm so grateful that my family got me out of Iran, me and my sister. They had two daughters. They could see this is no future for a girl in Iran. And imagine there are millions of people in Iran who knew westernization, who knew freedom 47 years ago, and they lost it because the useful idiots...
on college campuses, the leftists on college campuses, joined hands with the Islamists, which is exactly what's happening here. They're using the exact same playbook, the exact same propaganda, and they would say things like, why is the Shah living in a castle while there's homeless people on the street? There's no equity here. They use flowery words to trick comfortable, useful idiots. I love this woman. I absolutely love her. She is fearless, and I wish there were more women that would take that lead. And meanwhile, you have people like, remember Soleimani, Donald Trump took out and her daughter, his daughter, and his nieces living in America. I mean, this guy is the former commander of Iran's Quds forces, and they were. not only living in America, but chipping death to America and celebrating the fact that Americans were dying. Right. She's living the sweet life here. Marco Rubio eventually said, all right, you guys are out of here. That happened recently. Yeah. And again, Iran set to execute a lot more protesters, including a female. So that's coming up. But I didn't hear Elizabeth Banks talk about that, or Kamala Harris even, talk about that. Before we hit a break here, there was a earthquake that had hit in California recently. Now, it wasn't a major one, right? They treat earthquakes like we do tornado watches or tornado warnings, right? Let me know if it's on the ground. Yeah. Like out there, if it breaks a window, then I know it's legit. Like, they get earthquakes all the time. But there was a guy that was getting a vasectomy the moment that the earthquake started rattling the room. No. So my question to you, Nige, is that the absolute worst time for an earthquake to hit? Yes. Yes. Heart surgery. Yeah. Brain surgery or vasectomy. Which one is the absolute worst time for an earthquake to hit and cause your doctor to be a little shaky? Little shaky with scissors in his hand right up against your crank. Are you kidding me? No brainer. What is Toyota affordability? It's buying smart. Right now, your local Toyota dealer has great deals available on some of the most reliable trucks on the market, like the off-road ready Tacoma, rugged full-sized tundra, and legendary forerunner, each with the space, tech, and features to handle it all from the work site to the trails. It means driving for less, with efficient hybrid options available, extending your overall driving range and delivering great MPGs, meaning bigger savings at the pump without sacrificing power. And it means trading for more. The Tacoma and Tundra are ranked number one and number two in resale value over all vehicles, according to Kelly Boo Book, which can mean thousands more than average right back in your pocket when it's time to trade in. That's Toyota affordability. Buy smart, drive for less, and trade for more. Shop Toyota.com or your local dealer for deals and details.
Vehicles projected resale value is specific to the 2026 model year. For more information, visit Kelly Blue Books KB.com. Toyota brand average resale value is 53% versus the average vehicle at 45%. Toyota, let's go places. It depends upon what the meaning of the word is. Is this anything? All right, let's rock and roll. Rock and roll. Brought you by Indiana Unclaimed, presented by the Attorney General's office here in Indiana, reuniting Hoosiers with over $1 million in unclaimed property every single week. Hammer, fast, easy and free to search at Indiana Unclaimed.gov. So remember when President Trump had his second inauguration? Billy Ray Cyrus was one of the folks that were scheduled to perform. Is that right? And he performed, but it wasn't his best effort. I believe he was under the weather. But Billy Ray Cyrus says he'll perform for any president no matter what side of the political aisle they may fall upon. Okay. Here's his reasons why. My dad was a Democrat and served in the Kentucky legislature for over 20 years. But my dad always said when the president. ask you to do something you do it, son. And so I've had both Democratic and Republican presidents, served with Bill Clinton, with President Obama, Mr. Bush, Mr. Bush's dad, and Mr. Trump. I pray for our country. I pray for our president and I pray for our world. That's great. Yeah, that's something for sure. Let's go around the room if President Biden or at the time Obama or Clinton asked us to go play a round of golf with him while they were president. Would you? I would have. I would. I mean, like, I'm not some guys going to, I would never, ever. It's the president. At some point, I might ask Barack Obama about his policy that cost me a job. That might come up. We're having some beers on the back nine. Was it the health care. Yeah, the Obamacare. Yeah, Obama care, sure. But like, these teams, these like athletes when they get invited to the White House that throw a big fit sometimes. Like, look, as you know, I'm a conservative. If... I don't know. Gavin Newsom becomes the next president. And I play on the team that wins the Super Bowl. Sure. And I get invited to the White House. I respect the office enough to where I will go. Gavin Newsom ain't serving McDonald's and KFC.
At his party, though. It's going to be the French laundry, and we're all going to be paying for it. Great moments in Billy Ray Cyrus history. This is what I was talking about. So at the inauguration, he was very much under the weather, but he tried to power through. Go take my holes. Old Town Road, I go. I'm going to take my horse to the old town road. I'm going to. I knew I can't go. I came no mo. You can put your hands together now. I like that. If you encourage you about, keep going. No, I think we're good, Billy. Yeah. All right. Aiky-breaking heart, though. Can't go wrong. No, it's still a banger. Now, he's put some turds out. Is that right? This remake of L.O. Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out? I'm going to knock you out. I'm going to come back. I've been here for years. Rocking my peers, putting suckers in fear. Making me tears right down like a mom's and said. Listen to the bass. I'm going to knock you out. Turn. Mama said knock you out. Even Donald Trump is like, yeah, you can leave that off the set list. Go back to our conversation about would you go to the White House with whoever it was or would you go golfing with it? Fred writes on the YouTube chat. Hammer would golf with Joe Hogsett, I bet. I would. Again, the conversation would be great. I've got questions. He's probably got no answers, but I bet he's got the best booze. And we wouldn't even need to have the cart girls on that golf course. I was going to say, I mean, he's, I was going to say he better be buying. Oh, he brought his own. Yeah, no need for cart girls when you're going golfing. Kevin Hassett looks like the kind of guy that pulls up with his golf bag and you think he's pulling out a club, but it's one of those big long things that's got nothing but Yeager in it. Like you can buy a Christmas time, you know, like the big candy cane. Yes. Oh, wow. Is this anything? A rich guy in Florida will give you $100,000 if you name his new political party. John is starting a new political party and he's having a contest. If you come up with a name explaining what this party is about, you could win 100 grand. The left is crazy. The right is crazy. We're in the middle. What went into it is years and years of watching the two-party system get further and further to the left and to the right. That has left a lot of us stuck in the middle. When you take the DNR down, most of us agree on most things. But you put a DRR next to it, it's no good. Is he talking about...
An independent? Yes. Is that what it is? Kind of like what Greg Ballard did here, right? Didn't he just name his own third party and say, screw it? I'm going to run. Yeah, I don't think this is anything. I don't. And no, the right isn't crazy. It's the left, the progressives. I mean, there are some crazy rights. I look at Jefferson Shreve, who wants to blame me for the gun violence in Indy when he ran for mayor. I consider that pretty crazy. Good point. I look at the butt sniffers that run the state of Indiana. Rod Bray. This guy freaks out if anybody... even thinks about getting some breaks on property tax. So he loads up all these committees with people who have got financial skin in the game designed to kill any chances of property tax relief. True. That sucks. It's the Hammer and Nigel show. You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel show. Yeah, my name is Nigel, Jason Hammer, right over there with a very special guest on the hotline. He is the president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 86 here in Indy. Rick Snyder joins us, my man. How are you doing, Rick? Hey, guys. How are you? Good, man. It's been a little bit since we've had you on the show. And one of the things we always like to do is just kind of catch up on how the city, how Indianapolis is doing in terms of crime, numbers, metrics. I know you've got all the data when it comes to that kind of stuff. How are we doing? Yeah, man, we've been busy and hard at work since we last talked. Ever since the beginning of the year here, our Indianapolis Violence Index has shown some remarkable reductions in crime and violence. Now, that's new for you to hear from me, but we're really seeing a significant trend that has materialized over the first quarter of the year. And as of right now, we're tracking at least. 171 people shot, 61 stabbed, with 34 killed. That makes for 232 people shot or stabbed, atrocious numbers, no doubt. But those are significantly lower than the past five years in which we've averaged. over 200 homicides per year. And guys, what we're seeing is that right now, if we remain on this current trend, this puts it into perspective, we're on a pace for 117 homicides for the year. So that's a significant decrease from what we've been doing over the past five years. But it also shows this, that we're now trending and showing about a 60% reduction.
since 2021 in homicides and a 40% reduction in non-fatal shootings. And every violent crime category, including carjackings, is also significantly on the decrease. So hopefully we can maintain those trends. I think it's attributed to an increase in overall morale of our officers, but also a very significant move that occurred coincidentally at the beginning of the year by the Indianapolis courts. in which they radically changed the bail matrix that we have complained about for the past five years. And they actually went back to having some significant bail and closing the revolving door for these repeat offenders. And lo and behold, we see a significant reduction in crime, violence, and victimization. Let's go back to the courts in just a second. I want to really dig into that, Rick. But tell me about the morale of the officers. Tell me about the recruiting. Tell me about the retention. And again, what you mentioned. previously about the courts and the bail matrix. Definitely want to visit that, but tell me right now what recruiting and retention is like for the IMPD. Well, guys, you know, we made a very compelling case that we were in a retention crisis for the IMPD, followed by this recruitment challenge that we faced. And you'll recall, we even put up a billboard in downtown Indianapolis a little over a year ago that really clearly articulated that we can't help if we're not there, and we're down 350 officers. So what we said is we first had to focus on retention. And we had this, eventually we got to this point of a very significant contract that really recognized years of service for our officers and focused on those mid-career officers that have been doing all the work and making things happen in spite of those officer deficits. And then with that, we also made a move a recent transition starting this year in which we're piloting a 10-hour shift schedule. We've had a little bumps in the roads along the way, which is normal for something new and different. But guys, here's what this 10-hour shift is allowing our officers and the agency to do. It allows us to overlap our staffing, which is limited at peak demand times, which significantly drives up our officer presence, especially in the neighborhoods. and helps combat the violence that we're facing. At the same times, almost once a week, there are what's called overlap days where every single officer in the patrol division is working on the same day.
So you see dramatic increases in officer visibility, officer presence in the neighborhoods. But it also allows our officers under this schedule more days off in the calendar year while working the same number of hours, which is greatly helping. And then we've had the transition in chiefs. So we went from Chief Bailey to Chief Tanya Terry without missing a beat. The troops are very pleased with Chief Terry's experience and working her way up through the ranks. But she has hit the ground running and she has ensured. that we've maintained investments in cars, equipment, and facilities as well. So there's a lot of positive momentum going on, but make no mistake, none of this would be possible without this significant shift in closing the revolving door, and we feel very confident that we can continue to make progress if we maintain that course. Okay, because that's important you bring this up because it is an election year. And with the crime numbers being down, and I don't want to say good, but by indie standards, they're pretty good, you're going to see the prosecutor Ryan Mears doing a victory lap on every commercial, every campaign ad talking about how under my watch, we've made the crime so low. You're telling me that... It might not be the prosecutor. It might be a legislation that's leading to this, Rick. Well, make no mistake. The public pressure has been there from a strong education campaign that we have launched from the FOP. We have also been diligently working at the state house to make legislative changes at the state level that were really forced the hand of those local decision makers. And here again, while we were in this current legislative session, which crossed over into this new year, the Indianapolis judges, I believe, found it to be a wise move to try to get ahead of some of those legislative things that were pending and show that they could really clean their own house up. And in doing that, they radically changed this bail matrix and significantly increased bail levels, bond amounts, especially for repeat violent offenders. And they also opened the door for judges to even be able to double the amount of bail when repeat violence was involved. And so what our officers have tangibly seen is cases in which an offender might have maybe got a $10,000 surety bond where they don't have to pay 10% of that, let's just say as a drug dealer who has plenty of cash on them, instead they're seeing bond amounts of up to $250,000 or more. And we even had a recent case where we had a serial robbery suspect who was arrested and received a $960,000 bond. Those are the kinds of things that interrupt the cycles of violence, close the revolving door, and allow our officers to then get ahead of the violence and drive these numbers down. As in regards with the prosecutor. You're right. You're in a campaign election year. You have to believe that there's plenty of cases and trials that are queued up that are sure to ensure some headlines for him that no doubt he'll run on. You know, God bless him, it's no surprise to us, but make no mistake. This change in the Bell Matrix is the key factor that's interrupting the cycles of violence, and now the current prosecutor is playing catch-up.
Rick, is it fair to say that things like changing the bail matrix and going to the state house and changing some state laws? That's led to the crime decrease here in Indy more than anything else. It's almost, Rick, and tell me if I'm wrong, like you guys are working hard to work around the elected officials here in Indy who got us into this mess in the first place. Well, you absolutely noted. We've been getting the work done in spite of the current broken system of criminal justice in Marion County. And it's been absolutely to the credit of our state legislators who have been watching for the past five years. I mean, listen, guys, when you go to the state house. You have representatives and senators from all over the state. They're sick and tired of hearing about what's going on in our capital city and hearing about the shenanigans that really should be getting addressed at the local level. But I think we finally hit that tipping point where legislators said enough is enough. We're going to get our hands around this because we're seeing the economic. impacts to our capital city. And we're also seeing what the FOP has warned about, which is when we don't take care of what's happening in the capital city, it's coming to a neighborhood near you in other counties and cities and communities throughout the state. So we saw things like reforms in civilian oversight, which is definitely allowed for policing to be able, listen, guys, in Indianapolis. Our officers in Indianapolis right now already face 45 different levels of review on their actions. Think about that. Think about Hammer or Nigel if there were 45 levels of review for every broadcast you did on the radio. You would find it near impossible to be able to do your work. We were able to make with Senator Cindy Carrasco significant reforms in civilian oversight. She also tackled a lot of the homelessness and Skid Row issues that we've been facing through Senate Bill 285, which was signed into law. And then we also did some significant things that were forward leaning and over the horizon looking, which is focused on allowing for drone mitigation at the state and local levels. And guys, I don't want to get into the weeds too much. It's something we can talk about another time. But make no mistake, the next attack that we will face as a nation will be heavily influenced and involving a drone type attack. In Indiana, we're the first state in the country that has taken the assertive steps to allow for mitigation steps to be taken. by local law enforcement. And that got done 100% with the help of Senator Scott Baldwin out of Hamilton County, R-F-O-P, and then Chief of Police Chris Bailey. And it's something that we should be proud of and that we also know we'll save lives down the road. And finally, you will remember we spoke out vehemently about little Zohran Mamdani, this little girl that was violently killed as a result of abuse and neglect in our city. We had court intervention that did not occur. We actually had a judge.
in that case ordered the mom to stop calling CPS, if you can believe that. And as a result, we lost the life of this little girl. We spoke up, we spoke out, and we said that the governor and the state house needed to make changes. And I'm pleased to say that we got three different bills passed and signed into law that addresses such issues, thanks to the help of Representative Julie McGuire and Victoria Wilburn, a real bipartisan effort that got done for the safety and interests of our children. And then the final. thing guys is. There was a little thing that happened at the state house where a bill was passed that actually reformed the judicial selection process specifically for Marion County and removed groups like the Bar Association that you'll remember condemned comments that people like myself and Doug Carter made questioning the acts of our judges like Judge Mark Stoner. They in turn have been removed off that judicial selection process and no longer have a role in that. So we continue to move forward. Love it. Stand up for our communities. Stand up for victims and our officers. Rick, I love hearing all of that, all of that, man. Keep fighting the good fight for us. Very last thing here. And again, we got like 30 seconds. But I'm scrolling through my timeline on social media. And I see you are out in Las Vegas, I believe. But unlike my trips to Las Vegas, your pictures were vastly different. You were like delivering like baptisms and stuff, right? Well, guys, you know, I serve as the national chaplain for the national FOP. Yes. We actually held the first ever chaplain's conference. Listen to this. In the 111 years of the national FOP, this is the first time we've held a chaplain's conference. And, of course, it happens in all places of Las Vegas, Sin City. So it couldn't have worked out any better. We went out there focusing on spiritual wellness. We made clear that faith is needed now more than ever in policing. We had a focus on faith. And guys, I'm going to tell you, there is a, for all your believers out there, take heart, there is a strong revival that is occurring in the law enforcement profession. We had 20 decisions for Christ made. out there in the middle of this so-called Sin City. We planted the flag. We're taking back what the enemy is stolen. And I think that, you know, you guys saw we recently had baptisms in Miami, Florida. We're expecting maybe some baptisms in California later this month. We've had him from Alaska to Florida, Dallas to Indiana, Pennsylvania to Idaho, and all points in between. And God just continues the move, and he's still in the healing and restoration business. And you're seeing it in policing, and that's transcending. to our communities as well. So it's a great, great blessing. President FOP Lodge 86, Rick Snyder, Rick, man, we always appreciate you joining us and keep fighting the good fight and tell your officers to be safe.
We'll do that. We ask that your folks continue to put out those blue lights. They are beacons of hope in all of our neighborhoods and reminds our officers that the community stands with them. Thank you, guys. It's The Hammer and Nigel Show. What is Toyota affordability? It's buying smart. Toyota, let's go places. Hammer and Nigel. Do you believe these characters are weird of us. So let's... Yeah, probably important to start off with the latest with Iran in the United States. Are people getting Iran lash at this point, Nudge? Are people getting Iran out? I think because of the success of Venezuela. Maybe Donald Trump is getting Iran out because Venezuela was in. It was out. They got the president, the narco-terrorist leader and his wife and his kids. And then Iran kind of something different. They went in there and killed the Ayatollah, the Supreme Leader, and 50 of his guys, and then 50 more, and then 50 more after that. But it's still kind of going on. Now there's a ceasefire. And it's a big deal. Donald Trump before his chopper presser today. I was watching right before the show is pretty confident. This is going to end very soon. But they have been saying that for a number of days. And every time you feel like the end is near, again, like Smokey and Friday, they start talking again. Iranians get lippy, just like Smokey does in Friday. Like he's real lippy to Debo until Debo comes around. But then when Debo leaves, to quote Smokey, I'd be talking again. That's what the Iranians are. Earlier today. You just compared the Iranian leadership to Smokey from Friday? I mean. I mean, Seds, I understand totally. I mean, if you're looking like a tail of the tape here between their current Ayatola and Smokey, Smokey is in much better shape at this point. Sure. Before the chopper presser earlier today, which he's got to stop doing those right before we come on the air. Oh, man, come on. We didn't have time to get that audio. Got to do those earlier in the day.
But there was an early morning press briefing between Raisin Kane and Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of War, to which they pointed out this message to the Iranians. And to Iran, choose wisely. I pray you choose a deal, which is within your grasp for the betterment of your people and for the betterment of the world. In the meantime, the war department is locked and loaded. And we keep hearing that, like the United States, just because there's a ceasefire right now, in the event this ends or somebody violates it, they don't need a whole lot of heads up to be ready to begin bombs again. Like they're just standing by right now. They're like firefighters sitting inside the house. As soon as that bell rings, they're going down the pole. They're going to get the suits on. And it's going to be some action taking place. And it's not. going to be a significant percentage of the military being used to go after Iran either. I think we keep on hearing 10%. 10% of the Navy, just 10% of the Navy has basically eliminated any threats on the water from the Iranians. Also, big headline, and I think this is actually how this thing's going to end. choking off Iran financially. The Strait of Hormuz already blocked off, but now Pete Hegseth is rolling out Operation Economic Fury. Secretary Scott Bessent and our friends over at Treasury are launching Operation Economic Fury as well, maximizing economic pressure across the entirety of the government. To Iran, choose wisely. So, China was a big purchaser of Iranian oil. Right. Now they can't produce it and or export it. So let's find out a little bit more about exactly what Operation Economic Fury means. Here is the captain of Nigel's gay studs team, Scott Bessent. And we, for over a year, we have had maximum pressure on the Iranians, both on blocking payments into the Iranian state and going after the accounts of the IRGC. One of the what may prove to be fatal mistakes that the Iranians made was bombing their GCC neighbors and who are now willing to be much more transparent in terms of the funds or do a... deeper dive in investigating the funds that are held within their banking systems. So we have push out to them the request that we want to freeze more funds of the leadership, of the IRGC, and any members of Iranian leadership. The other thing that we have done is we have told companies that if you are buying Iranian oil, that if Iranian money is sitting in your banks, we are now willing to apply secondary sanctions, which is a very stern measure, and the Iranians should know.
that this is going to be the financial equivalent of what we saw in the kinetic activities. So strangling them financially, that's how this thing is probably going to come to an end. Not quite a physical strangling, but a metaphorical took place on CNN last night. Oh, yeah? So again. Hat tip to CNN. They have an actual conservative on their all-liberal panel. It's the same thing that Jessica Tarloff has to do on the five, right? An actual liberal going into an all-Republican panel. But on CNN, it's Abby Phillips program and it's Scott Jennings. He's the token Republican. And last night, this was the equivalent of the varsity against the JV. CNN thought having David Hogg tried to debate policy about the Strait of Hormuz with Scott Jennings would go well. Narrator, it did not go well for David Hogg. Anybody with an elementary school understanding of foreign policy could have told you the Strait of Hormuz was going to get shut down and that is exactly what happened. And who controls it right now? Who controls the state? How higher gas prices is so high then? Why were they high during Biden administration? Did you like that? It wasn't because of a geopolitical fumble. Here's a deal. Who controls the straight? You're using last week's talking points, David. We control the straight. We are in charge of this conflict right now. David Hogg, this guy. The word grifter gets thrown around a lot. It does. But this guy might be the biggest one of them all. He makes it sound like he was hiding under a desk at the Parkland shooting. That's why he, yeah, that's why he's publicly known. When he really wasn't even in the same building. And he has used that to advance his own self-interest. He tried to start a rival pillow company. It went belly up. And every time he opens his mouth, something stupid happens. I forgot about the pillow company. Remember? Wow. Yeah. He wanted to go after Mike Lindell. That's right. Michaelindell. And have a rival pillow company. Nope. talked a big game and had all these investors and that little needle wiener folded operations within a couple weeks. Nobody has made a bigger, you know, name for themselves off of a tragedy than David Hogg has. And I'm sorry, that's varsity against JV. Yeah, he walked right into that trap. I mean, knowingly almost, or not unknowingly. Tell me if we're good with this, Nige. All right. You remember American Pie, the movie, right? Yeah. Series of movies, actually. Really? But the first one, 99, I believe. Great movie. I think it, like, was bringing the sex comedy back to America. The raunchy sex comedy. So the hot chick, Nadia, played by Shannon Elizabeth. Oh, man. She's now 52.
And she's just announced that she's going to be doing only fans as a career now. movie career, not really going anymore. So she's 52 years old. She's doing only fans. What is she going to be doing on only fans? There's a myriad of options. There's a lot of different things you could do on only fans. What is Shannon Elizabeth who was smoking hot an American pie back in 1999? What is she going to be doing? Well, I'd imagine if you're making this big announcement. Yeah. It's going to be naked stuff. Boobies, buttholes and everything and in between, Nige. And look, I'm not even mad at her. Well, no. In this country, if you can make that level of wealth by giving perverts what they want, do it. Like, I wouldn't be mad if Allison decided to start one. Now, I don't think she is. I could be wrong. But if producer Allison said, guys, I hope this isn't a distraction for your conservative talk show, but I'm going to be starting an only fans. I promise she would make a killing doing it. I would wish her nothing but the best. This is capitalism at its absolute best. I would sign up for it. I would too. You guys are so sweet. Thank you. That's the nicest thing Allison's ever said to us. Oh, you're so sweet. Talking about her possible only fans. Are you really okay? Are you okay? Everything's going to be okay. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. I'm pretty fucking far from okay. Are you okay with this? On the Hammer and Nigel. Oh, yeah! Hammer 2 regional jet pilots appeared to be making cat meowing and dog bark noises as they communicated with each other before. Air traffic control at Ronald Reagan, Washington National Airport, called them out on Sunday. You guys need to be professional friends. This is why he's still flying RJ. Did you? Maybe we could play that again. You can hear, I mean, there's a lot of static in there, but you can hear the meows and the dog barking, and then you can hear the air traffic controller. You need to be more professional. This is why you're still flying regional jets. Right. So when we're going to play this again, when you hear the air traffic controllers say, this is why you're still flying RJ. That's short for regional jet and not a big commercial airline. And these are two different pilots.
making like meow noises and the other one was doing like puppy sounds. Meow. You guys need to be professional miles. This is why he's still flying RJ. Are you okay with? Would you be okay with the pilots that were, you know, if you were a passenger making those noises upon approach? You know, I got to be honest. As somebody that was on the ground and not aboard that flight, I thought it was funny. And then I love the air traffic controller, like bringing the heat. And this is why you're still flying RJ. You can't even get spirit. This is why you're still flying RJ. I thought that was fantastic. But I texted a buddy of mine that works in the airline industry. And I said, okay, am I a horrible person for laughing at this? He said, you're a horrible person. And sure. But this is the same airport. Washington Reagan, where 67 people died 15 months ago when a regional jet collided with the Army Black Hawk helicopter. That's right, yeah. Two pilots were meowing and barking on live air traffic control frequency for at least 15 to 20 seconds. The controller had to tell them to stop, and then they kept going. It's being reviewed by the FAA. Regulations prohibit pilots. from non-essential conversations below 10,000 feet. And these guys were below 10,000 feet getting ready to land. My buddy goes on to say, Reagan National is one of the most congested pieces of airspace in the country. And every second on that frequency matters. So, yes, you are a horrible person. So 30,000 feet meowing and barking at each other, fine. 10,000 feet. That is out of line. That's where we draw the line. Okay. Zebra named Zeus escaped from his owner's property in California for the second time. Oh, come on. In just a few days. Here's Katie of the Animal Control Services talking about capturing Zeus, bringing him back to his owner. We weren't sure if that's what we were going to come across or not. They were potentially dealing with a wild animal that was not going to be okay with being confined in a trailer. Ultimately, he was really cooperative and ended up walking himself onto the trailer without injuring himself and without any of our staff getting hurt. Are you okay with owning a zebra and then having it escaped twice? No. Animal control of having to deal with it. I'm okay with none of this. at all. And the fact that the zebra here, Zeus, is like a violent repeat offender here in Indy. Like he gets out, the first thing he does, breaks the law again, and then he knows the procedure. Just like you perp walk, the guy that's, you know, been busted for carjacking and assault 18 times. The zebra was like, yeah, yeah, I know. And he's walking back up on the trailer by himself. Great moments in Zeus history, though, by the way. If you remember the really...
awful Hawk Hogan movie, No Holds Bard. He took on Zeus in that movie. Tiny Zeus Lester, I believe, was also named after the mythical Greek god. And bringing it full circle, because we were talking about this earlier, Tiny Zeus Lester went on to play the role of Debo in Friday. Wow. Bringing it all together, baby. I don't know. I might have a problem with you saying it was an awful movie. No holds barred. Part part of my childhood. I watched. with my dad when I'd go over there on the weekends. I kind of liked it. From a child's perspective, of course. Once you watch it as an adult, sometimes it changes for you a little bit. That's my thoughts on Alf. Like, I loved Alf as a kid. I thought Alf was hilarious. Oh, look, the puppet's going to eat the cat and he's playing guitar. Like, WGN, when they still had the Cubs games, they would air Alf syndicated reruns. And heaven forbid there was ever a rain delay in the Cubs game. They'd throw an Alf on there. And I think the last year, WGN had baseball, I found myself watching an episode of Alf. That thing sucks. Like, when you get older and you have to watch that thing, oh, it totally sucks. Can you do an Alf laugh? Do you remember the laugh? Didn't he do it? Wasn't it? Oh! Oh, oh. That's pretty good. Or was that, I feel like that was either Alf or Count Chocula. I feel like both have the same type of laugh. Your Alf impression is actually you doing Count Chocula, but it works. Like it totally works. I'll take it. Gordon Shumway was Alph's real name from the planet Melmac, and you nailed that impression. Well done. You're welcome. What is Toyota affordability? Hello. My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer right over there, please. Mr. Attorney General of Indiana, his name is Todd Rokita. Would you mind kicking off some? Legal stuff. Legal stuff. Crime. Punishment. Judges. Legal stuff. Legal stuff. So, Nodge, if I say egg fart, what individual comes to your mind? Uh...
That would be, I believe Brennan, the former CIA director, John Brennan, old Egg Fart Face Brennan, who signed off on a bunch of different things, including how bogus the Hunter Biden laptop was. Now, remind our audience why we call him Egg Fart Face. Well, because... Everybody knows what RBF is, right? Resting B face. Right. Allison knows what that is. Like, it's just like you have a constant look of B on your face. Right. The same thing could be said of Brennan, the former CIA director. He has a constant look like he just smelled an egg fart, a sulfuric egg fart on his face. It's perpetually stuck on his face. Yes. All the time. Every day with John Brennan's like the day after Easter. Every single day. So. Like he just ate a full plate or his neighbor or his wife just ate a full plate of deviled eggs. Right. It's 3 o'clock in the morning and he just got home from Denny's. He's had some bourbon and a cigar. That's the face that he perpetually has. It always looks like he smells an egg fart. And all of those things that you rattled off previously nige are why federal prosecutors could be weeks away from an indictment decision on former CIA director John Brennan. This goes back to the Trump-Russia hoax. Jim Jordan arguing that key intelligence conclusions were improperly changed at Brennan's direction in late 2016 based solely on political and personal feelings toward Donald Trump. All right. That's fine. Okay. We've heard this before. I don't think anything's going to happen. I don't think anything's, I mean, we might get some good sound bites. We might get old egg fart face in front of a committee. We might get Jim Jordan grilling him. We might get to play some good sound. Some segments on this program, but nobody's going to jail for what they did to Donald Trump in 2016, which is perpetuate the ultimate hoax against Donald Trump and his campus. Spying on his campaign, the phony FISA warrants, the transition team. Did I mention the phony Pfizer warrants? Which is probably one of the most egregious things happen. Like spying on your... freaking campaign through those warrants, which were, which were totally bogus. Had this been the other way around, had this been Republicans doing that to Barack Obama, this would have been bigger than Watergate. This would have been something way bigger than Watergate. But the Republicans are so passive. They're just going to do exactly what you said, Nide. Steel dossier, Russian PP tape.
Everything goes back to not, I mean, you could name a list of people, CIA director John Brennan, just is at the top of that list. Right. In terms of Trump. Everybody always gets away with this stuff. Oh, yeah. Well, that. Everybody, for the most part, I'm sure somebody can find an example, you know. But for the most part, every time there's a high profile hearing or an indictment, nothing happens, especially if the Republicans are in charge. Now, Democrats, they play for keeps a little bit more. They are blood sport. Like, they will make sure that the CNN truck is at Roger Stone's house when he answers the door in his underpants. Yeah. They will tip off the news media before they tip off the actual folks doing the arresting. But not the Republicans. They will have Adam Schiff on every night of the week perpetuating that Russian hoax when they knew it was false, when they knew it was a lie. More legal stuff here. More? 25-year-old woman in Florida was pulled over for speeding in a residential area. I will admit I've gotten one of those tickets in my past speeding in a residential area. Yeah, you can get in big trouble. But I wasn't doing 123 miles per hour. Oh, man. And listen to the answer as to why Seria Lopez was doing a buck 23. Why? Because you're doing 125. That's why. Yeah, right. I'm not doing 125. She's not doing 100. I don't know. Honestly, it's just because he has a Supra. That's why. And I thought it was all right. Okay, we go fast. What did she say? Oh, it was because she was driving a certain type of car? Right, a Supra. Basically stating that it's the law if you're driving a sports car, you've got to drop the hammer. Well, it's allowed if your car has the capability to do that speed. A supra. Oh, impressive. By the way, I think there's something we're all missing here in the story hammer. She blew a point two three. Three times a legal limit. That will get you. Going 123 miles an hour in a residential area in Florida. But I was driving a supra, so it's okay. Well, hell, have another one then. I'm sorry. Can I get you a drink? Follow me. We'll both belly up to the bar. Speaking of drinks, more legal stuff, Nige, a California nurse. who has served at least 14 tequila shots in nine hours on a carnival cruise ship has been awarded $300,000 by a federal jury. Why? She claims she was overserved and that the staff on the carnival crews, the bartenders, multiple, kept feeding her drinks to the point to where she fell, she blacked out, and she was entitled to 300 grand.
First of all, if doing 14 tequila shots in nine hours is a crime, put me on death row. And honestly, that's, does that sound like a lot to you? That's really not that much in nine hours. Nine hours? Right. What a lightweight. And $300,000 in your bank account now that you were the irresponsible one. And the fact that there's probably on Carnival Cruise lines, it's not the same person serving you for 14 hours. How do they know? And let's be honest, it's a cruise line. Nobody's driving. Nobody's getting behind the wheel. You've got a place to sleep. I'm willing to bet the bartenders a little bit more lenient on passing out drinks on a cruise. Now, our boss, David, David Wood, the program director, he is like Mr. Cruise guy. I'm surprised he's not on one right now. He was here this morning. He's probably on a cruise right now. He does cruises all the time. He was telling us that, like, they give you 15 drink tickets per day on Carnival Cruises. She didn't even use them all. And she got $300,000 from a judge. Was it Judge Mark Stoner? Who the hell was this? It's ridiculous. So we were talking about the old TV show Dynasty before we went to the news earlier. Yes. Dynasty, I want to say it was on CBS back in the day. I could be wrong, but I think it was a CBS program. Somebody made an Instagram video, like a funny montage of all of the times that characters on Dynasty. fell down. Now, I admit I was never a consumer of Dynasty. Never watched it. But people falling down all the time. Was that like a thing, Nige? Down the same stairs, I believe. The most dangerous staircase in history. It's a primetime soap opera. So this wasn't something that was on in the, you know, like after all my children. Right. This was, this was a huge primetime show from 81 to 89. And now that I think about it, my parents watched it. An awful lot of people perished or at least injured themselves. On a very dangerous staircase. Let's listen to the montage of Dynasty cast members falling down the stairs. What are you if not a fraud? Stop it! Oh, that's sound effect. Jesus!
Was this every episode? That was a go-to for the writers behind the scenes there in Dynasty. Hey, we need, how in the world are we going to kill this person off? Staircase. Just have Linda Evans fall down. We did that two weeks ago. Do it again. John Forsyth will push her down the stairs. This is going to be different. It's going to be awesome. So if anybody remembers Dynasty, and some folks in the YouTube chat do. Kathleen, love Dynasty and Matlock. The best catfights were those two. That's so great. We've got a dynasty chat brewing here at the Hammer and Nigel page. I'll take it. I'll take it. Miss Allison, can we set the mood, please? Oh, dear. Saline Diom. Actually, we're talking about the Titanic here, Nige. Yeah, man, a little tear dripping from the corner of my eye. It evoked all sorts of emotions in me when I hear this song. Now, we could do a full 15 to 30-minute segment about how Rose is one of the worst people in cinema history and how she just got progressively worse as she got older, endangering the crew on the boat, throwing away generational wealth in the ocean. And that's not even in addition to leaving Jack to drown to death when he could totally fit on the door. We're talking about the actual Titanic, not the movie. The real one. A rare life jacket worn by one of the survivors is set to be auctioned off. And they're anticipating anywhere from $339,000 to $475,000. How do they know? Okay, that's pretty cool. That's a pretty, that's a decent piece of memorabilia. How do you know the person survived, though? I mean, I know it's a life jacket, but you could still... It made its way to shore? No, no, no, no. You could still perish, like, from hypothermia in the middle of the ocean. I see what you're saying. Wearing a life jacket. You know, maybe some survivor came back and said, hey, keep this artifact. Keep this artifact. Okay. And then some grandkid just sold it. 475 grand. I mean, look what the Ursaid girls did, with the old man's. artifacts. Oh, geez. He had all that stuff, right? That was a billion. I mean, over, that was, right? I mean, he had just ridiculous stuff, the Ursae collection. But the girls were like, what are we going to do with all this stuff? So, you know, they sold it. And it looks like now they're going to be using that maybe to. work with another business to help raise some money to fix up Lucas Oil Stadium. No kidding. That's at least what the rumor is. Like put that money toward like a private equity group and then they generate money and that's supposed to do some fixing up of Lucas Oil Stadium. It already needs fixing up. That's how old we are though. That's how old we are. 2008, I believe, is the inaugural.
I mean, the shelf life of an NFL stadium is around 20 years. Wow. Now, some of the classics are around longer than that, but yeah, it's almost time. What is Toyota affordability? It's buying smart.
