So we are still dealing with the fallout of that nonsense. I'm still not back to 100%. on my technology so if um you notice that there's a little something different with how i'm interacting with you and i'm speaking to people in my real life who are listening or in the audience just know it's basically i've been handcuffed by my back okay that's it um my company is like would you like access to your email and i'm like Yeah. And they're like, we're not sure. I'm like, okay. If you say so, you're all right. Like, I'd like to have it on my phone so I can, you know, respond to my work stuff when I'm not like sitting literally in a radio studio. And they're like, But are you worthy? And I'm like, I think so. I have been with the company for about 18 years, and they're like, yeah, but do you really need it? I'm like, I guess not. I mean, I guess you, I mean, you guys, it's up to you. So, yeah, it might be best off texting me, but don't be surprised if I offer you a great deal on crypto afterwards. So just be aware. That's where we're at at this time. But I do appreciate the people telling me that, hey, I got a crypto. One guy texted me and said, I got a crypto from you. And I just assumed that. you would have been hacked. I was like, well, you should, if you get a random crypto link for somebody you know, you should mention it to them. I don't know. Just throwing that out there. Either way, let's move on here. And let's talk about some other stuff here. Yesterday, I was asking the audience, Emily Hayes with us as well. You may remember this. I remember I was telling people yesterday, hey, I want to hear your best cope. your best coping mechanisms for what's been going on here with this election. I want to hear your best rationalizations. And I'll tell you, and I was speaking with Congressman Mo Brooks about this. And I think he wrote a pretty interesting piece about, are you tired of winning yet? And here we are.

you know, on year, what, nine of Donald Trump, right? Since we're going to count the 2016 election. We're like year nine of Donald Trump. Are you tired of winning yet? Definitely a huge setback yesterday. And I was asking for cope and people to tell me, you know, hey, in what ways are you rationalizing this bloodbath? Little did I know that Donald Trump was listening to our show. Because, yeah, this guy is coping. Oh, my God. He is in the cope phase of this as well. So it wasn't just me. Donald Trump is coping as well and suggesting that it's not my fault. And we saw that a little bit the night of. He said Trump wasn't on the ballot. That's why he lost government shutdown. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But he also had some other stuff going on with Truth Social. And he really, really is not too psyched about this. On November 50, the American people reclaimed our government November 4th, we restored our sovereignty. We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York, but we'll take care of it. Don't worry about it. Everything's fine, guys. Nothing to worry about. 34-year-old socialist New Yorker becoming the mayor. Don't worry about it. No big deal. My favorite part about that so far has got to be that he is now asking his constituency to send him money for his transitioning. Yeah, that's it. Hey, before we do socialism, I need more of your money. So give me that, which I think is, you know, people are saying, well, that goes to show those people got taken. I'm like, I don't know, man. I think it goes to show that this is exactly what they wanted. So it sounds about right. But his endorsement of Andrew Cuomo right before he didn't really do anything. They go out. And the media is just like, how can you call him a socialist? Like he calls himself a socialist. You're calling him a communist. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's like the same thing. No, it's not. Didn't he have someone at his event who said, unfortunately, the United States beat the USSR? Yeah, that, okay, that happened too. He said, I hope this works out for New York. I love New York. He continued on and just like, it's wild that he is trying his best to kind of figure out exactly a good way to make these things feel good for himself and his followers. I just don't think it can be done. But I asked for coping. He's given it to me. The unconstitutional redistricting vote in California is a giant scam. The voting itself is rigged. All mail and ballots where Republicans in the state are shut out. It's under serious legal and criminal reviews. Stay tuned. I don't think that's true. I just don't think that that's true. Anyway, there's a lot happening. Donald Trump is coping as well. We better pull it together here, folks, because there's a lot of stuff happening. And I will say this. One thing we didn't talk about yesterday, there was another state a lot closer to us where there were actual issues in the South.

The Mississippi legislature lost their supermajority Republican status. So they're losing, you may say, well, Dale, that's, who cares? Like, okay, that's good way to look at it. Still a relatively conservative state, but do you not think it's interesting that they themselves lost? some ground in a Republican red state. Now, you could say, well, there's still a majority, but they don't have the ability to override the governor's veto or put constitutional amendments on the ballot or do certain procedural actions because now the Democratic Party in Mississippi has a bit of a foothold. Alabama not having that issue because the party here is a little out of touch, even more so. But it's kind of funny. They said Mississippi is now a battleground state. I agree. They should spend a bunch of money in Mississippi. The Democrats should pump all sorts of money into Mississippi, especially their congressional races. Please jump in there and do that. I think it's an important thing. So get out there and do that. These groups who won hilariously are crediting the Voting Rights Act. You better get it in when you can there because that thing doesn't like it's long for this world. But keep in mind, here's how they won. The victories followed Tuesday's special legislative elections. Six Senate seats were up on Tuesday along with one House seat because a federal court ordered the state to create more black majority legislative districts. So there's a little more to the story than just a rebuke of Republicans in a red state. It's the same thing that happened here. And I know a lot of people get upset about this framing. And this isn't the metaphor you're thinking of Emily. But I know people don't like this framing. But the courts did in Mississippi the same thing they did here in Alabama. And they said, that's a nice seat. Draw it for a black person. And that's exactly what they did. That's exactly what they did. A federal court ordered the state to create more black majority legislative districts. Two other Senate districts were up for special election to fill vacated seats along with the House seat. So that's what happened. So again, you had the courts come in and said, hey, come in here and draw a district so we can put some black Democrats in here. And that's exactly what they did. And there it is. That's it. So not unexpected. They were gerrymandered districts drawn by an unelected court. And this is why. You're going to see the Voting Rights Act fall. You're going to see it fall. In states where gerrymanders, like Massachusetts, for example, it has no Republicans, even though 40% of the vote there goes to Republicans and you've had governors like Mitt Romney and you've had senators like Scott Brown. You've had these, and that's in the recent past. Just keep that in mind. That's the very recent past. You have zero congressional Republicans. But the courts don't even blink at that. They didn't even think about it. So they've been almost getting a little too high on their own supply. And eventually, what's the saying? Emily, is this saying, okay, you tell me, it ain't no fun when the rabbits got the gun? Is that, am I allowed to do that one? Or are you going to carry me on that too? When do I ever carry in you? I don't like it when you talk about people slitting their throat while they're sleeping.

Which is a completely reasonable thing to say. Completely fine. Is that okay? Is that all right? Ain't no fun when the rabbits got the gun? Is that okay? Yeah, I guess you've said it before. I'm just asking. I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just asking. I'm asking, is that an okay thing to say? You're sort of the, you do understand that in this particular instance, you're sort of the voice of reason sometimes, and I like to run things by you to see if I'm going to get in trouble. You should probably run things by me before you say them on the air. Okay. All right. Well, anyway, it ain't no fun when the rabbits got the gun. Would you say that? Yeah. No, I mean, would you say it? Would I say it? No, like, will you say it right now to protect me from myself? What? Dale, no. Anyway, anyway, it ain't no fun when the rabbit's got the gun. And what I mean by that in this case, the Republicans control the Supreme Court. So the Supreme Court that puts all these things in place can take them away. I mean, that's where we're at here. So you have these districts being drawn. What is to stop Republicans if the Voting Rights Act goes away from going in Mississippi going, yeah, we're going to redraw these districts? Nothing. What's to stop Alabama Republicans are saying, we're going to redraw these districts? Answer, nothing. So all of this is this part in Mississippi is a bit of a... A little ridiculous bit of nonsense here if the voting rights act goes away because they absolutely should redraw these things if they are given the opportunity to do so. So, okay? Again, the president of the United States is coping on this and that's exactly what I wanted him to do. I appreciate you listening, Mr. President, but you are coping and you're seething. And I get it. It was a bad day yesterday. or the day before. And yeah, now it's time to get over it and move forward. We get it. Trump not on ballot, not your fault. The same thing you say every time you lose the election. I get it. I understand that. But now it is time to lead. And Trump's version of leading today is end the filibuster. open the government and move forward. That's sort of where we're at at this. I don't think that's what they're going to do. Donald Trump saying, hey, go out and end the filibuster, end the shutdown right now. What day? Did I hear yesterday that the government might go on till? What day? Oh, boy. It's much, it's further than, than we've been discussing with Thanksgiving over the last couple of days. Where, where is the latest where it could go on till? January 17th. New Year's. Yep, New Year's. There's a lot of talk about it possibly going on until New Year's. Cool. My wife is still getting paid. Okay? I mean, she's not getting her paycheck right now, but she is going to get that money. Okay, she's going to get it. That's, there's no question about it. She's going to get that. By the way, we've crossed the thresholding to $38 trillion in debt. Congratulations, everyone. We're doing great. We shut down the government and the debt continues to grow. But we're doing fantastic. We're doing fantastic. But now. It is possible that we are on the brink of maybe moving on until the end of the year. A lot of people still suggesting it'll be over this week. Donald Trump met with senators trying to discuss the end of this. There was some debate in the legislature where Katie Britt, United States Senator Britt of Alabama, was saying, hey, hey, hey, the continued resolution, you guys want to end this like on December 20th? You know what's going to happen if you do that, right? If you do that and it ends on December 20th, well, the Democrats are going to say, golly, looks like the Republican just trying to steal Christmas. Can you believe it? They're trying to steal Christmas. There'll be some Grinch memes. Everyone will cringe. It'll be embarrassing. This is kind of how this whole thing is going to go. And yeah, as the conversation that goes on, we could be looking at January 1st as how long they're looking for this to go. And a lot of you would say, who cares, right? Like that'll be like some of the response that a lot of you will have. I will tell you, there are a lot of people that care very much about this. Okay. You may say it's not impacting me or anything like that. I will merely suggest to you that there are a lot of people who care, not only people who are on government assistance, but government employees, people who are using various government resources. And you can say whether they should not or whatever. If you want, those people care very much about this. And there's a lot of this that people are incredibly concerned about. So January.

Could be it. Okay. January could be it. And I think that that is a real possibility. I still think that it's over sooner rather than later. But the January 1st talk is now starting. And then you have the senator for the state, the governor-elect, national championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, talking about how Zohran Mamdani is like some sort of Islamic Trojan horse. That's basically the gist of his comments, which again, I just, I hear that stuff. I'm just like, why? Like, what are we doing here? What is the, what are we trying to do? I mean, you can call him an idiot. You can say he's digging New York City's financial grave, but I just don't understand the, the focus on his religion. That I don't get. Tubman will tweeted this out. Mobbani's allegiance is to Islam, not America. What do you mean you don't understand that that would be? I don't understand why they're focusing on that. Like, what is, what is it? I don't, maybe it's true. Maybe it is. But. Basically, this boils down to he's Muslim. I mean, that's basically it. That's the gist of the insult. And I just, there's so much more. I love insults. Call him an idiot. Call him a disgrace. Say it's embarrassing. Say the people are crazy for voting for socialism. Say all this stuff. But I'm telling you, people bristle when you start throwing out, Andy's Muslim. I mean, people bristle at that. I just don't, I don't. I don't. In what way is his allegiance to Islam? Why are we saying that? What do we know about that? To me, he is truly your regular, ridiculous, phony, fake Democrat politician. He is a socialist. He is a communist. He is obsessed with identity politics. All those things. But I see nothing that says this guy's like in Islamist, a suicide bomber, a 9-11 officianto, whatever you want to refer to him as. And I think bringing it up is just incredibly pointless. But you understand how in his city that was rocked by Muslim suicide bombers. No, that's not happened. That didn't happen. You're talking about 9-11? Yeah. That wasn't suicide bombers. I was an airplane flying. I'm sorry. Yeah. Well, yeah. My bad. But do you, like, sorry. Sorry.

But you do, like, you can understand, like, I can understand where Tuberville is, is going with that. It was 25 years ago. It was 25 years ago, but it was such a devastating attack, not just on New York City, but on this country. So is every Muslim person who walks in there, you skeptical of them? I'm not, but I can see how politicians needing something to talk about to tear down the other side would go to. Agree on that. This guy's a Muslim 25 years ago, 25 years ago, excuse me, you all suffered, this whole country suffered at the hands of radical religious. I agree with that. I agree. I agree with your premise that, like, well, I get why they're saying it's, it is, it's. It is something you add to the list of issues you have with him. And I'm merely suggesting you kind of leave that one out because you don't really have anything to say about it except 24 years ago some guys who in the same religion did something one time. And I mean, I'm using the Ilhan Omar. Some people did some things stuff. And I get his lying about. Oh, the real problem after 9-11 was how my aunt was treated when she didn't even live there, like that kind of stuff? Yeah, sure. But I just think the focus on his faith is self-defeating. Because if I was a left-leaning person on cable news, I wouldn't be like, well, why are you calling him a communist? Because it's obvious why you're calling him a communist, because he's a communist. I mean, that's obvious. So you guys like Byron Donalds will go, because he's a communist. Like, what do you? And the anchor has to say stuff like, oh, well, you understand. Communists is a very triggering word. It's like, what do you call it? So is Nazi, but you throw it around left and right? You know what I mean? Right. Well, that's fine too, but nobody really believes anyone's a Nazi. They do believe this guy's a communist. Okay, so that's the truth. And he is. I mean, calling him a communist is really not that far off. Not that far off. I think everybody would be better served to focus on those things than to focus on his religion. Yes, that is exactly my point. Exactly, exactly my point. So I found it odd. So you have conservatives focusing on Zohran Mamdani's faith. And then you have this at the Turning Points USA event down in Auburn. And I want to listen to this. And I just want to wonder like, why is this happening? Why? Mr. Trump, Ms. Trump. I'd like to ask about your father's relationship with Israel. He's taken over $230 million from pro-Israel groups. You mean Americans? Okay. Oh, cool. All right, thanks. During the summer against Iran, even though he advised against it, Israel still attacked Iran and the U.S. still bombed on behalf of Israel. There are ally.

Iran was attempting to move their nuclear program forward. All right. At least that's modern day stuff. Okay, I understand your issue. Your father's frustrations with the Benjamin Netanyahu have been made clear when he cursed on national TV over the situation. Israel has not been a great ally to the U.S. all the way since 1960 when they bombed the USS Liberty. Israel. Okay, why are we cheering this? Why are we cheering this? Like, what is this? Like, you're telling me in 1966. And I understand anti-Semitic tropes, guys. So let's just start here. I understand the whole, they bombed the USS Liberty. And both the United States and Israel have investigated this. Yes, they investigated themselves, guys. And they believed it was an Egyptian ship. And it was a mistake. Now, you don't have to believe that. I will even accept your premise that Israel was like, check this out, guys, we got this ally. It's the world's biggest superpower. What if we killed a bunch of their soldiers? Wouldn't that be a good idea? And they were all like, yeah, that's awesome. Let's do that. I mean, walk me through the reasoning here. Are they just bloodthirsty Jews? I mean, is that what it is? That they just decided they wanted to go and kill people on the USS Liberty? And you listen to this stuff. A lot of survivors from the events say that it was an intentional military attack. What? Why would I care with the cook on the USS Liberty thinks about anything? okay this is like the whole thing of like i served in iraq i well yeah what'd you do were you involved in the planning process and all the other stuff and that's how you understand like the the strategy and maybe how it went oh you were a grunt and you were carrying out or oh why am i listening to you again like what what is the reason Okay, I'm just checking. I'm just checking. There are other people, including the chairman of the joint chief of staff, which is far more important here, that have rejected the official explanation. But I've never been given a why did they do this answer? And I know, look, I guarantee you there right now, there are a lot of you that have just picked up your phone and started Googling USS Liberty. I guarantee it. I sense it. I sense it. Why is this coming up?

The answer is anti-semitism. That's number one. Okay, let's remember that. And the crowd cheered this. So we have different factions of the Republican Party right now. that are saying things like, hey, that guy's Muslim, so he's bad. And how about the Jews in 1966 or 67 or whatever? What about those Jews? Remember when they bombed that boat? I'm sorry, are we not allies with something? Because let's just say they intentionally bombed a boat in 1967. The USS Liberty. Let's say they did that intentionally. Boy, do I have some stories for you about South Vietnam. I'm going to tell you that right now. There's stuff that's going on there. And guess what? We've made nice with them. Okay? So I'm just confused by this. The applauding of this is just weird. Too much internet for these guys. It was a nation where Christians are constantly under attack in both Gaza and the West Bank. By Jews? I mean, is this, I mean, is this the issue? You think, you, you, you, you believe that the Jews are engaging in some sort of religious war in the Middle East against Christians? Talk about America first and defending Christians, but how can we do this if we align ourselves with a nation that does not do that itself? That doesn't think of America first? This guy should be laughed off the stage and said they're applauded him. I don't get it. There's no question. My father said frustration. In fact, I think he says frustration throughout the whole conflict with both sides. At the same time, Make no mistake. You have a nation that is chanting death to America every single day on the streets of Tehran. You have a nation that will develop a nuclear weapon, and you have a nation that will use that nuclear weapon against the Western way of life. There's no question about it. You have a nation that will use proxies around the world, whether it's Yemen, whether there's a lot of other ones, to inflict serious... Yeah, Eric, but what about the Jews? I mean, come on! The Jews, guys, or someone might say, the Jews! What about them? I'm telling you, Emily, what is this? And again, Eric Trump gives a good answer, and he can do it. I want to get the rest of this in here. Serious harm on the station, and they don't hide it. They don't hide it. In fact, you know, it's really interesting. About a year ago, maybe a little over a year ago, they put out the Ayatollah, and Iran put out an emoji, a little short video clip. of a drone hovering over my father's head as he played golf. This was literally posted on the Ayatollah's, you know, Twitter page following my father around a golf course with a crosshair right on top of him, as if they wanted to assassinate him and as if they wanted to hurt him. So, again, why are the Israelis our allies in the Middle East? I just can't figure out. Why are we applauding this? Why are a bunch? That's too much internet.

And I know there's a lot of USS Liberty super fans out there who are going to tell me, oh, no, no, Dale, you got to understand the USS Liberty. Look up the USS Liberty. I know about the USS Liberty. I know exactly what happened on the USS Liberty. And Occam's Razor says, that's an unfortunate accident. Common Sense says that's an unfortunate accident. Alternate University Dale says, even if it wasn't, who the hell cares? It was 1966. The realities of the world have changed. What is wrong with you? So this is a serious question. Make me care about the USS Liberty as much as this dip. This guy in Auburn cares about the USS Liberty. Make me care as much of that. Make me care. Okay? Make me care. And Mark, I don't know, someone wrote this on somebody. 9-11 was 14 years ago. Yeah, I saw that. No, no, it wasn't. 9-11 was, 9-11 was 24 years ago. Okay? So, just keep that much in mind. It was 24 years ago. So I want someone to lay it out to me. Okay? I'm not jumping to you're an anti-Semite if you believe this USS Liberty nonsense. I'm not suggesting that. But I just want to know what the reasoning is. And I need someone to convince me as to why I should give a crap about this. This guy is a loser. This is a loser comment. And Eric Trump absolutely destroys him. And the crowd is silent when he does. He lays out exactly why we're allies with Israel and against Iran. So I just want to get this. I'm going to make this point. We got this going on, this anti-Israel stuff in the Republican Party, a small faction of very loud idiots. And then we got the anti-Islam crowd in the Republican Party, a very louder faction of anti-Islam idiots. Guys, this is not how you win. Both of these groups could be part of the Conservative Coalition, the America First Coalition. But if you suggest that every single person involved in that is some sort of secret agent sleeper cell from either Israel or the Middle East, you're going to lose. That's nonsense. It's absolute nonsense. And again, I want to point this out one more time. It's interesting. If you're not a Zionist, you're wrong. I'm going to say that right now. If you're not a Zionist, you are on the wrong side of everything. Okay? There is a reason. why America is an ally with Israel. You know why? Because it's the only representative democracy in the Middle East. It is a beacon of freedom that other countries will eventually strive to be. And if we just say, okay, we'll wipe them off the map, they will push them from the river to the sea and they will kill all those people. We've seen it. You want an actual genocide? Islamic radical where I don't think there is any evidence that that's true. Again, he's a leftist. That's it. He's a socialist. He's a communist. Yes, that's true. All that stuff's true. But going after him on his immutable characteristics is a bad idea. But it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen. And I think that is a mistake. I think it is a massive mistake tactically. And it's the wrong thing to do on top of that. So there is that as well. We got a lot to get into it here in the seven things. But. more importantly to our conversation, people like Katie Britt and others, Tommy Tuberville as well. Tommy Tuberville is sort of taking the path that I'm not a big fan of of hammering home the religious side of this. And I will just say this. Tommy Tuberville's push recently against against, how did he frame it, against Sharia law? I got to tell you this, I think he's right about that. And you can tell by the response that you're seeing that nobody on the left side of the aisle is going, we're not trying to do Sharia law. They're just maddy's bringing it up. And that, I think, is a fair thing to bring up. Yeah, I'm bringing up that Zohran Mamdani is somehow some sort of Islamic radical. I just don't think there's any evidence for that. And if you have it, I'd love to see it.

Oh, man, if you want to look at where we stand in the form of college football in this state from the two big schools, there is nothing more illustrative than what I'm about to share with you right now. Holy cow. Auburn's AD, John Cohen, is hilariously claiming that boosters have absolutely no say in the conversation about picking a new coach. Come on, man, I don't, don't, don't, don't. Don't lie to me. That's just nonsense. It's nonsense. So you have that nonsense going on at Auburn as they look for a new coach. Meanwhile, Alabama's doing a home and home series with Notre Dame. And if you want to look at what the programs are focusing on, one is college football playoff bound signing a home at home with Notre Dame that's going to be amazing. The other is lying at boosters. Who are boosters? What are they? Number six. Alabama Public Television believes they risk losing. Are you ready for this? $3.5 million in donor funds. $23,894 members, 80 to 90% of its programming like Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger. I hate Daniel Tiger, by the way. I know Daniel Tiger very well.

Not a big fan of one Daniel Tiger. Anyway, they're very concerned about this. And to that, I say, too bad. Okay? You had a chance to protect yourself from the national conversation about out of control liberalism and bias on public television. And you know what Alabama public television did? Nothing. Nothing. And now they're whining about it. This conversation is long past over. Good luck. Good luck. Keep going down this path. I dare you. Number five. Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennan is opposing Alabama casinos, and he is absolutely right. Absolutely right. Alabama casinos are absolutely correct. He is absolutely correct about the Alabama casinos. Even. Orange Beach might be an attractive place for one. This is a community killer. It really is. He branded it as a community killer. The Orange Beach mayor is exactly correct. And I love this. I love everything I'm hearing about this. I love it when mayors come out and say, look, I don't want any part of this. I don't open it Pandora's box in my community and let gambling in here. It's going to be a huge problem for us. Huge problem for us. And I want to go back and correct the record here. It looks like I got something wrong. I apologize for that. Auburn signed the home at home with Notre Dame. Oh, wow, I really muff that story. Excuse me. My bad. Number four. All right, United States Senator Katie Britt slammed Democrats for electing socialist Zohran Mamdani as the New York City mayor, calling what he believes radical extremism. She's right about that. Senator Tommy Tuberville of Auburn went the other route, and he decided what he was going to make an argument about, was his Islamic faith. And I just don't. I don't think that's good. I don't think that's good. He did come out and call him a disgrace. He called him embarrassing. And that is correct. But Zohran Mamdani's allegiance is to Islam, not America. I don't know where that he comes from. I don't know why he's saying that. That I don't understand. But Tuberville's making that point. They're both slamming him. And again, there's nothing wrong with that. Another wrong with that. I think we're going to see a lot of people leaving and saying, I don't want any more part of New York City because of this. That is where the focus needs to be. Number three. A packed house at Auburn for a turning point USA rally. And I think it's an important place for them to go. And I think it's important for everyone to see what goes on when they go and they try. Try.

to kill a movement. Yes, do they kill Charlie Kirk? Absolutely. Absolutely, they killed Charlie Kirk. But I think the movement is still alive, as his wife has said. And I think we are seeing that with what's going on at Auburn and other places where you are seeing these things. Now, Donald Trump... called in and said that Auburn is a very special place, which is true. It's very true. Quote, it's a great school and we love Alabama. That's what he said about Auburn. He said he's a quote, I've been there many times. Many people from that area, number one, and from that school. So there we go. Donald Trump saying we love Alabama. We won Alabama by 45 points. Number two. The euphoric media coverage of Mayor Zohran Mamdani's win in New York City is running into the reality. of the real world as pressure builds on people to, I guess, get on board with his message. Now, he came out yesterday and said, I need money for my transition. Continue giving me money for that. Kathy Hochul, the president there, or excuse me, the governor of New York, is now involved in a battle. with Zohran Mamdani over whether or not she's going to let him and help him raise taxes. Good luck on that. She's already made it clear that she's not going to do that. They did chant at her, tax the rich, etc. But he wants to increase taxes on income orders over a million dollars and increase the corporate tax rate. And I think you're going to find some problems with all of this. No. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. You are going to see President Donald Trump continue to make the argument today that it is important for us to nuke the filibuster and end the shutdown. Now, he is blaming the shutdown for the Democrat-led bloodbath. that has happened all over the country. And I'll add Mississippi to the mix, although, again, we talked about this early on in the program here today. If you're going to quote, if you're going to bring Mississippi in, you better understand how it happened. A judge came in and redrew a lot of their districts, and this was a special election. And those districts, some of them went Democrat, and Democrats broke the super majority in the state. The Voting Rights Act needs to go away because this only happens in Alabama. Now, Democrats, again, coming off of this Democrat-led bloodbath across the country, have decided that actually the position that they've been holding all along is not strong enough. United States Senator Bernie Sanders, independent from Vermont. So they're urging Democrats to reject the shutdown if it does not include ACA Obamacare.

subsidy extensions. I mean, some cuts, flight delays, unpaid workers, snap benefits, whatever. And it's just, it's really something that we are going to have to watch here because I think there's a really, really good chance that Republicans cave on this. And I'm serious about that. There's a very good chance. that Republicans cave on this. And I think that that is something that we're going to have to watch here because it could happen. Could happen. All right. So let me go back to number seven here since I got this wrong. I want to get it right here. I was making the argument that Auburn's heading in one direction and Alabama's headed in the other. And I was using an example of a home at home with Notre Dame in 2007 and 28 as an example of that. Turns out I got that wrong. Auburn. Auburn has eeked that deal with Notre Dame's. That's good. That's a really good home and home. So congratulations to them. I'll use it this way. They're still going in different directions. One of them is headed to the college football playoff. The other is trying to figure out how much they're going to buyout. They're going to pay their next coach. Is that better? Is that better? Okay. Good. Let's take a quick time out. I'll be right back. I had such a great narrative built too. I really did. I had a really good narrative built. I really did about how. Auburn is heading in the direction of chaos, and Alabama is chugging right along. I'll tell you the part that irked me about this. And again, full disclosure, I got it wrong, okay? Just note it, put it down, and acknowledge that I got something wrong, okay? That's good. But it's worth noting here that the thing that kind of, quote unquote, triggered me. about the Auburn situation right now is the absolutely hilariously laughable piece of information that I needed to add nothing to in order to make the point of making that the AD is arguing that there is no no one who is going to sit here and believe that there are no boosters. offering up their opinions about what's going on at Auburn. Okay? I don't even know why you would say it because nobody in their right mind would say that was a straight face. But the AD at Auburn says, I'm making all the decisions, which, again, I don't suggest he's not making the decisions. I absolutely believe that. But do you tell me the president's not involved? Are you suggesting to me that other people who dump a ton of money into Auburn for a bunch of different things are not involved? Of course they're involved. And you want them involved. It's not an insult. You want buy-in from these individuals. And that buy-in comes in the form of listening to them. You don't have to say, oh, yeah, yes, whatever you say, sir. I'm not suggesting that that's... what's happening. But there is clearly a situation where you would say, well, yeah, of course, yes, I'll listen to anything. You have to say, oh, the guy who gave $10 million to the university would like to get on a call and have a conversation about the next coach. Sorry, I don't do that. I'm more interested in making this decision on my own. Right? Are we going to embarrass ourselves and pretend that we believe that? Of course not. Of course not. There's nothing wrong with the boosters having some say and what's going on. And clearly they do. Like, do we give this next person $40 million for a buyout or only 20? And should we keep him for two and a half years or three and a half years? Those are the things we should do. And yes, I could have just used that as the key point, but I did misread and misunderstand the story about the Auburn Notre Dame Home at Home. I should have read more into that, so that is, of course, my mistake. But just keep it mind, Alabama is headed towards the playoffs again.

And at the beginning of the year, you would have had people believe, and I'm not sure I believe this, but I'm going to say it anyway. Excuse me, I believe this. I do not. I believe people thought this. I do not agree with this. That's what I'm trying to get out here. You had people trying to make the argument that maybe Kalin DeBoer was more on the hot seat than one Hugh Freeze. Now, I don't agree with that framing, but I think those people existed. I think they're crazy, but there were people who thought that. And now as we sit here today, Kayla DeBoer, again, is heading where? He's heading towards a national championship and potentially getting in the playoffs and doing that. And you could say, well, he's not going to win the national championships. I mean, that's a real possibility that he'd not win the national championship. That's true. But they've got a shot. Well, the other team in the state. is trying to figure out who their next coach is going to be. And yes, as I dismissively say, trying to figure out how much of a buyout you're going to give that guy when you initially or when you fire him less than three years into the next run. Unless, and I'll stand by this, unless you get a Dion Bernie Sanders, Elaine Kiffin, a Davo Sweeney, or some other big name, Auburn failed in firing Hugh Freeze.

Let's go ahead and bring my state senator on. Sam Gavan to join us. Senator Gavan represents Madison County and the Alabama State Senate. We appreciate him coming on here and joining us on the Alabama A&M $350 million Bulldog Hotline. All right, Senator Gavan, anything interesting? You hear anything interesting about your beloved Auburn? Have you heard anything about that today? Anything crazy? Other than from you? Yeah, other than from me. Have you heard anything from anyone else? Anyone else saying crazy stuff out here? No, no just me? Okay, good. No, listen, the programs, I mean, first of all, Alabama's playing great. But if they lost one more game, the board's head would have been on plate. Their expectations are so much higher than ours right now. I mean, it's like, look at Penn State. My goodness, the man won was consistently in the top 25, was in the playoffs, just couldn't beat. Now, in fairness, if we had a coach that was just smoking it every year, it wasn't beating Alabama and wasn't beating Georgia, they're going to be gone too. But I thought Franklin was a good coach. It's just these are, this is high-stakes stuff now more so than it was before. Earlier, everybody was playing for pride pretty much. Now it's pride and money, even though we've got a sharing arrangement, SEC. It's, you know, it's a big deal. One thing I loved about Cohen was when he said, I am the committee. And now that means a lot to me because. I think our committee is what cost us having Kirby Smart. Now, what I had been told was Kirby Smart left the room thinking he had the job. And apparently they, you know, the committee decided that since he couldn't, you know, leave Alabama before the national championship game, then, you know, they couldn't hire him. Well, what a colossal mistake that was. That was a goof. I like him taking ownership of that. But do I think for a minute he's not going to talk to Jimmy Rain? Oh, come home. Jimmy Rain puts too much money in that program. Exactly. And he should. And Raymond Harbor. And I bet you believe he absolutely should talk to him when he's making these decisions. I mean, yeah, there's nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that. All right. I've been suggesting. that what we saw on Tuesday across the country, including in Mississippi now, that has to be brought into the mix, is a five-larm fire for Republicans. I've been told, Dale, you're being a bit ridiculous. But I've also heard a lot of Republicans go, yeah, this is a problem. Where do you stand on this? On a scale of 1 to 10, how big of an issue is this for Republicans moving forward for 2016, for 28, for the rest of Trump's agenda? How big of a problem is what happened Tuesday?

Yeah, probably at three. And part of that is by the left being emboldened because they're trying, I mean, I've seen people who, you know, several people who used to vote Republican, I think part of it is they really hate Trump. And then they're, you know, on a lot of issues are, I would say, center right, but maybe. just really struggling about where things are today. And, you know, I see things like, you know, oh, well, they're, you know, it's not just blue states. Well, I didn't know until you said it before you erroneously referred to the Auburn series with Notre Dame that Mississippi was resolved of redistricting. Well, that's a big difference. I mean, especially in a special election. Because they are motivated. I mean, the Republicans are in the White House. Republicans don't have a lot as much to go to the polls for. But if you look at history, you know, where, I mean, Glenn Youngkin won when there was a Democrat in the White House, right? Virginia has voted what since, I'm guessing, since George H. Bush. I'm assuming they voted for him. I think he won California the first time. And I don't think W won it. I don't know. I don't think we've won Virginia and the presidential election in a long time. I think it's been a long time since we've got a U.S. senator there. I mean, it is, yeah, technically we would call it probably purple, but it's certainly, you know, a lean blue state and has been for quite some time. Well, New Jersey's. You know, since Chris Christie, I guess, has been a blue state got, you know, I don't know when the last time they voted a Republican, probably for Reagan. So, I mean, what did we really expect? I mean, were we hopeful of something better? I think we were. It didn't turn out. I don't think anybody had any, you know, guesses about what California was going to do in their... race to gerrymander. So I just don't think the elections meant that much, but I think they're going to emboldened the Democrats. And I think this talk of getting rid of the filibuster could be a colossal nightmare. But, you know, I do think we ought to fix it to where. just like in Alabama legislature, you want a filibuster, fine. You don't just sign a piece of paper saying, I protest. You've got to get your butt down in a well. And then everybody would know when the Democrat, or what did you say, the media and their Democrats, when they try to blame it on Republicans, it's a filibuster actively conducted by the Democrats. And I think they're going to have to force the table on that. And perhaps. maybe eliminate the filibuster for budgetary items and nothing else. And the thing that worries me about that, and you're in a legislative body, so maybe you can speak on this. The thing that worries me about that is they can say, oh, we're only doing it for this measure or that measure. But we saw that. I mean, let's just be real about it. Democrats tried that. And Mitch McConnell stood in the well of the Senate and said, if you do this.

We will make you pay. And he was right. He went on and he made them pay, right? I mean, he made it very clear that if you do this, you will pay. And then they did it and he made them pay, right? Are you talking about it on the judicial nomination? Yep, yep, yep. He warned him. Well, the Democrats are the ones that started. The Democrats started it with... I can't remember what they did, but they started it, and then Republicans that made some incremental changes. But I'm a firm believer in the filibuster. And I mean, that's what kept us from total disaster under the Obama regime. And you just have to think about what if we're in the minority, because we're eventually going to be in the minority. Eventually, they're going to hit the trispecta. And they're going to get, you know, they're going to get the White House and they're going to get both of the legislative branches, or not branches, but bodies. So, and you just got to figure that and that, look, we don't need to go hyperparse in either direction because that pendulum is always swinging. And I'm not that worried about New York. I mean, look, I'm not planning on visiting New York anytime soon. I mean, not because of this. It's just not on my list. I've been there a couple of times. I do want to go back someday. There are a lot of other places in the United States I haven't been yet, and I want to go to them. Some of those flyover states like Montana and South Dakota. Well, either way, I think you're right about everything you just said there. And I think maybe the fear of it's all overblown. That I think is true. I mean, there's all this stuff. And that has to be discussed and thought about. And as those things take place, the country is moving in a direction that I think a lot of people are really worried about. But all the things you just said are well stated from the gerrymandering in Mississippi to Mabondani and how he's going to be actually able to govern. I think all those things actually matter a lot in this. About Alabama. Let's stay here for a second. The mayor of Orange Beach. came out yesterday, and I think he was talking to our good friend Jeff Port down in Mobile, and he's like, no, I don't want to have any casinos here. And we all know if you're Horas or Harris, or whatever they call themselves, if you're the Hard Rock, if you're someone from Vegas, or you're someone inside this state, you were going to put a casino somewhere and you wanted to get a bunch of people there for tourist dollars and stuff like that. Orange Beach is probably the perfect place for it. And he's saying, yeah, we don't want any part of this. We don't want any part of this. Were you surprised he was so public about this? And what does that say about the gambling conversation? You know, a lot of what I get down there is secondhand from other legislators from that area. They don't want gambling down there. They're a family-oriented destination point.

It just makes sense that if you start all of a sudden getting greedy and going in for gaming, that's going to change a lot of that family destination point. So, I mean, and I think there are some other things you've got to think about. And look, I'm not in the gaming business. The only casino I've ever been in was on a, you know, walking through. cruise ships, casino. And I think the only time I ever put coins in the slot machine was on my senior cruise when I was 18. But I don't recall renting any money, but in any event, I would think you would want to be near a major airport. And maybe they figure they're close enough to, because I actually was surprised to find out how many, I can remember if it's Pensacola or Destin, how many flights were going out of there. Maybe they think they're close enough to Mobile and Pensacola to make it work. And they do have I-10, you know, coming through. But it just doesn't seem to me like you're going to add to the pile a whole lot down there. And you've got to remember a lot of people, you know, they got a lot of housing. units that don't have residents in there, but those residents also are going to be very thoughtful about what they want in their community. And they don't mind apparently dealing with snowbirds and the regular beach going traffic. But I don't think they want the gambling. I'm going to say mafia. I don't make real mafia, but coming in. Sure. Yeah, I agree with that. I don't think they want any part of that at all. I think they want to find themselves in the same world they're in right now. But the question is across the state, how much of an impact does that have on the broader conversation? I think everyone almost everyone universally agrees that we are heading down a path of where gambling is probably going to be approved in some way, shape, or form. I could be wrong about that, but that's what I believe. I think we are headed down that path. Do you think, Do you think this has any impact on that? I don't think that has any particular impact other than the influence it has on the Baldwin County legislators. And that's the far south Baldwin County. So that's going to have more of an impact on Senator Elliott, who has voted no more than he voted yes. And it matters to... Look, there are certain senators. They're going to vote yes. It don't matter what the bill says. There are certain senators they're going to vote. No. Doesn't matter what the bill said. I say bill is actually a constitutional amendment. And the enabling legislation would be a bill. And they would travel together. And then there are people that, well, it depends. You know, and in my well, it depends as well. It's a lottery and how, quote, clean of a bill is it? You know, that's doable, but the Democrats won't vote for that. So, you know, what it would take to get a Tom Butler and Arthur Orr and Sam Gavann and maybe a West Kitchens on board with is not going to be able to pass. And then...

And then you've got another series of senators that, or it depends. And they're looking at nuances about where the facilities can be located because they don't want them in their communities. There's going to be facilities about how the taxes will be structured, where the money goes, things of that nature. And so all of that factors into, you know, how the, I would just say the broader South Alabama delegation, not just the Mobile County, not Mobile County, but the coastal delegation, if you will, how they're motivated by the terms of what's in there. But I do firmly believe the Baldwin County folks don't want, they got a good thing going, and it's just going to continue to grow. You look at how many people are actually moving down there. Their population, they should be, in my estimation, by the next census, they should have two senators located entirely within Baldwin County. So I think there'll be 300,000 people. Very interesting. All right, Sam Gavan, thank you very much for correcting me multiple times on my Auburn staff. And again, I'm not anti-Auburn by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just pro-reality. Oh, my cover food is hot too. Well, my cover of food is telling Emily to restart her microphone because she said a little crappy over there. Chicken and sausage gumbo. ESPN and Penn Entertainment have mutually agreed to end their U.S. online sports betting partnership early, effective December 1, 2025. After ESPN bet capture only 3% of market share and led to over a billion dollars in losses since its 2020 launch. Yes. Yeah, I love to see it. I love to see. Oh, wait, here's the other part of that. Oh, no. All right. Now they're getting on board with Draft Kings. So there we go. They're just moving to a different gambling thing. But can we just talk about this for a second? Gambling bad, okay? Let me just say this. The way we're pushing gambling and normalizing gambling, bad. I know, I know. Adela, you're such a moralist and a purist and all these other things. How in the world is ESPN losing money on gambling? How is that even possible? How is that even possible? They are ramming it down your throat non-stop. How is that even possible? They lost a billion dollars since 2023. I mean, there's just people doing it elsewhere. That's got to be it, obviously. But God, how pathetic. If anything, if I was ESPN, I'd be like, oh, man, our advertising doesn't work. Emily, are you shocked by this? They've lost this much money. I mean, that's a great deal of money. On gambling. The only people that make money is the house. In this particular case, the house lost a billion dollars. That's bad. That's real bad. It's real bad. And what's even more amazing is what Disney is doing this. Okay, let's make sure we get this. Okay, this is a Disney product. When I say the house, we're talking about the house of mouse. Okay, just keep that in mind. Okay, that's who it is. The house of mouse is losing money on gambling. That is embarrassing. Now, I'd also like to point out there's a video online that goes to show you what a disaster this has been for sports in general. Okay. There's a video online where they're talking about that latest, that little gambling thing that I say little, but that NBA gambling scandal that happened a week or two ago. And on ESPN, they're talking about it. On the bottom corner, there's a little bug that says bet ESPN. A little Kairon logo. It's called a bug in the business. If you were a TV, you'd understand. But it said bet ESPN. In the middle of the conversation. They dropped the entire banner off their little scroll in order to get it off the TV. So basically somewhat noticed it and told whoever was running that part of the broadcast, hey, hey, we got to get that off. And they panicked. And instead of just pulling it off, they pulled the whole thing down. Which, what does that do? It shows people it's happening. And they pulled it down. Why did they pull it down? Because it's embarrassing.

That's why they pulled it down because it's embarrassing because they are one of the reasons why this stuff is happening. I love to see this. I love to see this. I love to see this. I am a big fan of this. I love that they're losing money. I don't like that they're bringing draft kings on board because you're just going to get more of this. And they're going to continue slamming this in front of your children. And it is going to be a real problem. By the way, ESPN's still off of YouTube. This is what I've noticed. The only time I care is Saturday. And I was at a football game this Saturday. So I didn't notice really all that much. I think it would be very pissed off this weekend. I thought you're going to say the only time you care is when your mom's calling to ask you why it's not working. That's true. That did happen Monday. So that's true too. I can't watch Monday night football because I told you this. ESPN is off. I know, but where can I watch Monday night football? And I'm like,

Please call your other son. There's two of us. Call the other one. Get help from him. Okay? That's what I'd like you. That's what I'd like you to do. I'd like you to call it. But yeah, that's still going. And ESPN. I guess I believe he says, Carly, Disney, as part of that dispute, Disney said to YouTube, hey, can you guys please put ABC back on so people can get their election coverage? And YouTube was like, nah. We're not, we're not, maybe, maybe you've missed the point of all of this that, of our negotiation that we're having. But it gets better. They're not the only ones being ridiculous. You know who else demanded that someone do something about this? Elizabeth Warren. Elizabeth Warren, she wanted, she wanted someone, I guess, to reach out to YouTube and demand that they put this stuff back on. I mean, just, just to make this clear. She wanted Donald Trump to reach out to Disney and demand that they put. ABC News or excuse me, reach out to YouTube and demand they put ABC on. I didn't foresee any of that happening. So it didn't happen. It did not happen even though Elizabeth Warren wanted, I guess Donald Trump to demand Disney do something. Please get this fixed. Don't make me change cable providers again. This is the Dale Jackson show, and it's an adult radio show. Okay? This is not a kids radio show. It's not general entertainment. It's not sports. Okay? The only reason my 7-year-old would ever be listening to this is because his dad's on there, and he is not impressed by that at all. Okay. And I'm sure there are some kids out there that are like, oh man, I can't wait to listen to Dale Jackson. Those kids, they're okay. Those kids are far beyond the stupidity of like, I'm going to gamble all my money away. Okay? They're far beyond that. So one different audience. And I don't begrudge Jim Rome for doing it or Andrew McLean or even myself. If they came to me and said, hey, will you do a commercial for a gambling outlet? I might think about it. I like gambling. I've never been anti-gambling in any way, shape, or form. Personally, my issue with gambling is one, how it continues expanding. I got a big problem with that. I'm not saying I would do a gambling. I said I would consider it. I'm not dismissing it out of hand. And I'm not saying I would do it. But the simple fact is, there's nothing wrong with that when the audience is right. And the audience for sports and ESPN is a general audience. The equivalent is having like Bluie do a commercial for Giraff Kings. I think I would have, I'd have a problem with that, right? Yeah. Don't we have a problem when ESPN continuously just hammers, hammers, hammers, hammers, social issues? Don't we have a problem with that? Of course we do. Part of that problem, I believe, and you can tell me I'm wrong on this, maybe I am. Maybe we just don't want to see it. Part of the problem is the audience capture they have. I watched ESPN Sports Center every morning from when I was 13. No, younger than that. 11 to, I don't know, until I joined the Army. So seven years. 11 to like 17. So that's just me. That's what I did. I did that. So there is a young audience there. There is. Because it's the place for sports. I get it. I understand that. So that's part of my problem with this situation. But I get where you're coming from. I get it. You know, oh, Dale, you're being a hypocrite. Okay, that's fine. I don't think that's actually what you're saying, but I'll even, I'll take that criticism and internalize it and give you my response that if you were saying. Jeff says ESPN is not the house. Vegas, baby, or do they get a cut from the online bets? I'm assuming there's a partnership there in some way, shape, or form, and that partnership ended up losing a billion dollars. So I don't know how you want to frame it. Whatever happened didn't go well, okay? If you got a partnership and it costs you a billion dollars, there's a problem there. So that tells me that ESPN does in fact, or did in fact, get part of the business of Penn. Otherwise, how does ESPN lose a single dollar on this? If, what was the name of that? Underdog contacts me and says, hey, we want to advertise on your wonderful radio show. And I said, okay. And they don't make any money off of it. How does that cost me anything?

Emily, am I right about how the business works? Unless this situation is a money, like they went into this partnership together and they lost money. That's what it looks like to me. So now they've switched over to Draft Kings. They've lost money on gambling. What a bunch of losers. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. Okay. Here's another one for you. Something we talked about earlier. Tommy Tuberville is historically confirmed concerning the New York City. mayor-elect by what Thomas Jefferson said after dealing with the Algerians, Muslims under Ottoman rule. It is dealing with piracy on the Barbary coast. Jefferson realized that because of their Islamic indoctrination and Quranic duty to war on non-believers, that the U.S. had to deal with this by being aware and making different decisions based on these inherent underlying beliefs. Okay. Good Lord. Let me just tell you this. I am completely fine with understanding why some of the things around the world happen in the way they do, and a lot of that is based on religion. Absolutely. Absolutely. And we should be aware of that. And we should pay attention to it. And we should be worried by it. 100% true. You should be worried about what's going on in Europe. And you can be worried about the fact that there are some cities in the United States that are turning into places that are no-go zones for police. And it's true. It's happening. It is also true that these communities are falling into where they're being overrun with immigrants. That's true too. We should worry about that. Now, if you want to worry about it specifically because they're Muslim, okay, that's fine. I'm not going to begrudge you for that. But I think the world in which Thomas Jefferson lived into the world we live in are different. I think that's true. I think we can look at that that way. And I think we should go after the actual actions of people in what they're doing, saying that Zohran Mamdani, and honestly, Tubman didn't say this, is an Islamic radical in the sense that he's an Islamist? and coming, how do I put this, close to being terrorist aligned? I'm not, I can't, I can't do that. I'm not, I don't see that. Emily, do you see that? I mean, do we see that? I just think that's, I think it's a, we're going to bridge too far here. And I don't, and I think it's to the detriment of the people that I'm speaking with who feel this way. Am I crazy? I think it's lower on the list of things to be concerned about being a possibility. I think they have bigger problems with, the, you know, government-run grocery stores and free buses and things like that. That's exactly right. I agree with that. I agree with that. That is correct. That is, there it is. That should be a bigger concern right now. And I know it's going to be a concern for all Americans because it was only, what we say, 24 years ago, that... that 9-11 happen to those folks are there still people with trepidation when it comes to leadership roles being held by people who are associated with radical belief systems whether they are part of that or not but at the end of the day his social programs and what he's wanting to do up there if he's able to get it done is not going to be good for new york city and it's not going to be good for the country and strategically

The argument that this guy's ideas are bad is significantly more powerful than, oh my God, look at this mussel. Yes. Okay. So I think that I'm just suggesting, and I'll defend Tommy Tuberville's warnings about Sharia law and stuff like that. I'll defend that. And one of the main reasons I defend that is the response that we have seen for the people that are mad about Tommy Tuberville saying. We got to put a ban on Sharia law. First off, we're not going to put a ban on Sharia law. Okay, let me just walk you down this path. We're not doing that. Number two, very rarely do you hear the people being mad about it go, we're not, we're not going to do Sharia law. You don't hear, they don't say that. They do not say that. Instead, what they say is how dare you say that? How can you possibly say that? I'm like, that's not a no. We don't want this because the truth of the matter is, and I know I'm going to get a lot of texts about this. I'll just, I'm going to short circuit it before it starts. Yes, there is a fear that there is a sort of soft invasion, if you want to call it that, a soft invasion. A soft invasion. And for some people who are coming over here, I think that they want to expand their culture, expand their religion. I think that's true. I think that's true. I don't have to YouTube the three phases of Islam or jihad or whatever. I get it. I've heard all this. I understand it completely. I am making an argument to you that goes as follows. What is the smartest way? to fight this. And it's not the Donald Trump way. And the Donald Trump way is to scream that none of these election losses are my fault. That is not the way to do it.
