show is on the air. They had a fake Russia investigation. That interfered. That was a terrible thing. That was actually a treasonous thing to do. Those people should have been arrested. They made it up. They made up a problem with Russia that didn't exist. Now they've all admitted it didn't exist. It was just on to the next one. There should be no fuzz on this whatsoever. The Russians interfered in our election during 2016 cycle. They did it with purpose. They did it with sophistication. They did it with overwhelming technical efforts. And it was an active measures campaign driven from the top of that government. There is no fuss on that. It is a high confidence judgment of the entire intelligence community. And the members of this committee have seen the intelligence. It's not a close call. That happened. That's about as unfake as you can possibly get. And it's very, very serious, which is why it's so refreshing to see a bipartisan focus on that. Because this is about America, not about any good part. It's a party in the CIA.

I'll be honest with you, when you're talking about cybersecurity, a lot of it is classified and we're not going to provide it because the way we catch folks is by knowing certain things about them that they may not want us to know. And if we're going to monitor this stuff effectively going forward, we don't want them to know that we know. This is one of those situations where unless the American people genuinely think that... The professionals in the CIA, the FBI, our entire intelligence infrastructure, many of whom, by the way, served in previous administrations and who are Republicans, are less trustworthy than the Russians, then people should pay attention to what our intelligence agency says. So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our Democratic Republic. creating this piece of manufactured intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump get elected, contradicted every other assessment that had been made previously in the months leading up to the election that said exactly the opposite, that Russia neither had neither the intent nor the capability to try to, quote, unquote, hack the United States election for the presidency of the United States. Yeah, yeah, he's a party in the sea.

If you've listened to our show over the years, you know that I steadfastly maintain that we are not a breaking news show. It's important people understand that, and that is because I do not trust primary news outlets. I see no point in running around saying, this just happened. because you're not going to change your behavior because of it. I don't recall things like this happening, certainly not with this frequency before. It feels like DEI has made very simple things like moving airplanes around, staging aircraft at it. It feels like we're moving backward. This was the, and I find it very haunting, harrowing. This is the air traffic control audio. This is disturbing knowing what ended up as a result of this. The president now threatening to send in the National Guard, has been talking about sending in ICE. They can't get a bill done. The Democrats have decided you can wait in the airport. You can wait. You can lose an entire day. And then, of course, your flight takes off. You can be put through hell. They don't care. They're willing to do whatever it takes. They're willing for you to suffer as much as necessary for them to defund ICE and not deport illegal aliens. Because there again, they put illegal aliens ahead of American citizens. Robert Mueller, the former FBI director, who led the special investigation into Trump that tormented Trump for the entirety of his first term, has died. Now, President Trump went to truth social and said this. And I'm certain he said this. Nobody said it in his name. Robert Mueller has just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people, President Donald J. Trump. Now, before we get to the left being up in arms, they're up in arms. If he was to cure cancer, they'd be mad that this was hurting the pharmaceutical industry and the medical industry. But we have the classic example here of the real split of opinion. between the Bush Republican Party, and it really is the Bush Republican Party, and MAGA. Now, you might be MAGA, but think he shouldn't have done it. But this is really the split. This is why Donald Trump cannot be invited into the club, because he doesn't play by the same rules. Donald Trump does not respect Robert Mueller. He does not think Robert Mueller is a patriotic, good American with whom he just has differences. The Bush family took great pride after 1992 when Bill Clinton said the most awful things about George H.W. Bush. I mean, said the most awful things, personal things about him. George H.W. Bush took great pride. And after that, you know, Bill Clinton and our buddies, we're traveling around raising money together and we're friendly and he's a hoot and we joke around. And most Americans looked at that as, I can understand that presidents have a respect for each other because you do a job that nobody else can understand. And I do believe that. You are briefed every day on things that the American people will never know. Threats against America, efforts to destroy America, efforts to hurt Americans abroad. You are daily briefed on frightening, horrifying things that might happen, most of which don't. And I think that you see what you look like when you come out of the White House. But I also think that most Americans say what Robert Mueller did. is evil. What was done to Trump is evil. And whether you love Trump or hate Trump, I wouldn't want Obama put through that. I wouldn't want Clinton put through that. I wouldn't want Biden put through that. And they weren't. But when I look at what they did, absolutely unprecedented spying on the president while he's running for president.

spying on him, what was the fellow's name that was national security, who was advising him on national security issues, starts with the W. He was coming to the Trump Hotel in New York, and by spying on that fellow, they were able to get Trump. And they were trying to entrap Trump. They were trying to set him up. And that is evil. You talk about a true threat to democracy. But here is the difference. And I understand most of you are going to disagree with me and I'm fine with that. There is this idea that we should be nice. Your daughter is raped and murdered in front of you. Be nice. Patrick Swayze and Roadhouse. Be nice. Be polite. Your kid that the teacher at school assigns. A project, write an essay about a major historical figure. This happens fair amount, by the way, I get this email. Major historical figure, and your kid says, I want to do Jesus Christ. And the teacher says, he's a myth. That's offensive. You may not do it. And you say, I'm going up there to the school, and I'm going to give him a word. And your teacher says, no, be nice. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We have been too nice. We have been too polite. This is the nice neighbor. This is allowing people to destroy our country because we don't want to push back. This is not deporting people because, well, we don't want to separate families. This is not sending murderers to prison because, well, who's going to provide for the family if he's not at home? This is not cutting people off of the Somali welfare fraud because, well, you know, don't want it to look racist. This is the fear of being called a bad name. So, yeah, they did horrible things to Trump. And no, he's not nice back. And I think a lot of Americans understand why. And that has replaced sports largely in our lives as a diversion from the sickness, frailty, financial difficulty, marital unhappiness, putting on weight, being plugged up and can't poop. or urinary tract infection, all the things that are unpleasant about life, right? Well, this is our distraction from that. It gives us something to look at. So there is this thing now where anything that happens, they run and put a camera in front of the mouth of famous people, especially politicians, but also Hollywood celebrities. And they say, what is your opinion about that? Do you condemn? So there's a murder. Do you condemn such a thing? And then everyone rushes, I condemn it. Oh, wow. Okay. So anybody else who's looking at shooting up a school, just so you know, a senator you didn't know before now, in a state you have never visited and will never visit, condemns this. Oh, well then.

I guess that guy won't go shoot up any school. The next guy won't shoot up any schools because this was condemned by a senator. And so people that are paid by your tax dollars will draft up the condemnation and they will send it out. We get press releases all day. This senator condemns this and this one condemns that. Oh, okay, good to know. We weren't sure where they stood. We weren't sure what we thought about them, but now we know they have condemned it. And it's just ridiculous. It's completely performative. So whatever Donald Trump thinks about Robert Mueller, a guy who tormented him, is really of no consequence. Mueller's just as dead. I don't think his family was waiting around for the president to say he's a great guy. So all of this, again, is performative. All the president said, hey, he's dead, good. And now the leftist, they got to say something tonight, you know, the night of him saying it. Oh, he's a great guy. This is wrong that the president has done. And I stand for the honor of Robert Mueller. You didn't care about Robert Mueller. So here is Joe, a cup of Joe and his mistress, Mika, and she's very upset. She's so upset that she can't even read these words aloud because this Christ-like man, Robert Mueller, his name, ill has been spoken of his name, and she just can't bring herself to read these horrible words. Mueller, of course, also led the DOJ probe into potential Russian collusion during the 2016 election for two years, ultimately resulting in nearly 40 indictments and seven guilty pleas. He did not find evidence President Trump committed any crime, but the probe also did not clear the president of obstruction of justice. President Trump celebrated the news of Mueller's death on social media, writing, Robert Mueller just died good. I can't even read this. I'm not doing it. There's a reason, I was thinking about this weekend. There's reason why politicians and presidents don't usually speak this way, because people don't think this way. There may be some people on the fringes that think this way, but I'm telling you, The overwhelming majority of Americans just don't think this way about anybody in their life. And so I'm not going to even respond to that. I would rather respond to a man who committed over eight decades of his life. to this country. I mean, the other two presidential statements were nice. We could read one of those. You know, Robert Mueller's life speaks for itself. And history will judge both Robert Mueller and Donald J. Trump for what happened during the Russian investigation. And people can run around waving their arms on other networks saying, Russia hoax, Russia hoax. I'm quite confident.

that history will judge both of those actors through that time period, and they will not find Robert Mueller lacking. History will also judge Morning Joe, in his time as a United States congressman, and a young lady who died, history will judge that as well. ABC News Chief Justice correspondent Pierre Thomas with a special report on Good Morning America on the death of Mueller and Trump's Post because that needs to be part of the story. This morning career prosecutor and former FBI director Robert Mueller dead at the age of 81 after years of battling Parkinson's disease. Much of his life dedicated to serving the American people. Volunteering to serve in Vietnam, he earned a bronze star and a purple heart for valor in combat. He became the second longest serving FBI director after J. Edgar Hoover. Sworn in just a week before 9-11, Mueller was immediately forced to transform an agency that had missed so many signals in failing to prevent the worst terror attack in America. American history. Mueller's mission simple, changed the FBI from investigating terror attacks after they occurred to an agency whose primary mission was to prevent them. He left the Bureau in 2013, but four years later, he was tapped to lead the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and to look for any link to President Trump's campaign. The two-year investigation leading to indictments of more than two dozen operatives and several top Trump associates. But Mueller did not determine if Trump obstructed justice, and the president has denied any wrongdoing. We had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime. Over the weekend, President Trump, who repeatedly attacked Mueller through the years, calling the Russia investigation a hoax, celebrated his death, writing, good, I'm glad he's dead. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle condemning his remarks. This is a person who served this country and deserves more respect than that. Be that disrespectful. I guess I shouldn't be shocked anymore. Mullen would serve 12 years, confirmed 98 to 0 for a 10-year term after being nominated by President Push, but was asked by President Obama to stay on for an additional two years. We didn't feel heard. Our voices didn't matter. Trump is flawed, just like we are, and he's human. He actually cares. How do you think we feel when Jasmine Crockett? This little fake ghetto accent having former Senate candidate to be the Democrat senator who says white people are the problem. When she says, I get along well with John Cornyn. John Cornyn doesn't like Maga. He doesn't like the voters of Texas. John Cornyn is a cool cat. I like him a lot. He just has to say crazy things because his voters are crazy. How do you think his voters feel? Well, it's consistent because when he was asked why he's not going to win his seat, he said, because the radicals show up. How do you think people feel? Ask you a different topic about a post by President Trump from yesterday responding to the death of former special counsel Robert Mueller. He posted this quote, Robert Mueller just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people. Do you think it's appropriate for the president of the United States to celebrate the death of an American citizen, someone who's a Bronze Star, Purple Heart recipient and who served in Vietnam? Kristen, I was with the president in the green room at Davos.

There was a video playing of what may have been an illegal raid on his home at Marlago. They are going through his wife's wardrobe. And I watched the look in his eye, and I think that neither one of us can understand what has been done to the president and to his family. But to the question of the president's post, I mean, Robert Mueller didn't order that raid, is it appropriate for the president to celebrate the death of any American citizen, Mr. Secretary? I think that given what has been done to President Trump and his family, it is impossible for either of us to understand what he has been through.
