83 segmentsThis is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Our little podcast is the podcast that could, the little engine that could. You know, when we started, it was just a simple rebroadcast of our show, and they would take it over and put it on this new podcast platform. I didn't think anything of it. Before long, we started hearing from people all over the country where we don't air on the radio in the town where they are. And I would say, well, how are you hearing us? Did you find us online? And they say, no, I was on a podcast. Or, as happens for more than anything else, somebody sent me an email, say, hey, check out this podcast. He's from Houston, talks a lot about Texas, but talks about national stuff, and I think you'll like him. And that's how our little podcast grew to be one of the top in the country. It's pretty cool. And so we have show sponsors on the radio. We have show sponsors on the podcast. One of them's a good buddy of mine. His name is Ray Breyer's. And he owns the Pipeyard Inc. And what he does on his cell phone is people call and go, hey, I got a 118 mile pipeline going through Louisiana into Mississippi. And he says, all right, let me go check it out. He goes out. He rips that pipe out of the ground all the way. And he goes off and sells that to somebody else who needs the pipe. It's a beautiful process. And people call him all from our show, from our podcast, all over the country. Thepipeyard, inc.com. 409-788 pipe. 409-78 pipe. Talk to Ray, the pipe ma'amma, good buddy. Turns out, at least according to my urologist, that all that talk about taking testosterone is bad for your prostate. That was based on one study that's been debunked. But you know what? Don't trust me. Do your own reading. Cross-reference. Learn more. Go to fixmylowtie.com. That's synergenics. That's who I use for my testosterone replacement. It makes me energetic. It makes me happy. I lost some belly fat out of it, which was really nice. And yes, it does that too. Fix my lowt.com. You paid your insurance premiums hoping that you would never get fire, smoke, damage, water damage, hail damage, hell, we have so many. storms and hurricanes come through here. And the national carrier now doesn't want you, doesn't want to pay you. Chad T. Wilson law firm fights so that you do. He is the lawyer that will fight to get you covered. Go to claimdenied.com or email me and I'll connect you. Claimdenied.com. It's that time. Time, time. Lock and load. The Michael Derry Show is on the air. Democrats are desperate for anything they can put forward at this point, anything that they can sell to the American people. But here's the problem. It turns out when they get to the whiteboard with their dry erase markers, when they start writing those things down, the bullet points are all deeply, deeply totalitarian and anti-democratic. Look, this is a moment where there are no bad ideas. No bad idea brainstorm is what I'd like to call it. And in that no bad ideas brainstorm, we talk about what we need to do and think about doing around the electoral college.
We talk about the idea of Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court. We invite a conversation about multi-members districts. Let's talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C. These are the things I think that we've got to do. We've got to neutralize these red states from cheating. Or as Max says, veterans. Tomorrow morning, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. He will be giving away 150 mattresses to veterans. He says veterans. Veterans. I like the way he says it. He will be giving away 150 mattresses. You can get a free mattress full, queen, or king. at the I-45 North location between and, well, you already know, Tedwell and Parker. 6,006 North Freeway, 7 a.m., 9 a.m. I've been through this with him a dozen times. I'm going to go ahead and tell you now, it's not going to matter. Get there early. Don't show up late. There's going to be a line. This is how you treat veterans? I come over here at 855, and I thought I was going to get a mattress, and there was a line an hour long, and I can't wait. I've got to get back to work. I honor your service. I begged you to arrive early. I don't know what else to do. No good deed goes unpunished. He ends up giving away more than 150 mattresses. I will tell you that every time. Whatever he says he's giving away, he ends up giving away considerably more than that. They are all new mattresses. They are fresh out of the box. This isn't some throwaway garage sale. It's the real deal. It's quality stuff. And he loves, loves to do. He loves to do this more than he does to move units that he's getting paid for. I know that based on how much he wears me out over it. When he wears me out on something, that means he's excited about it. He wants people to know. He feels good about it. I've said it before. I'll say it again. You do good things for other people because it makes you feel good. And I understand that that upsets people because no, no, no, it has to be sainthood. No, it doesn't. You do good things for other people because it makes you feel good. And if everybody understood that, because most people, hedonist or not, are seeking pleasure. When people understand that you're going to get more pleasure from doing things for other people than not doing things, they will seek that pleasure. When people understand you're going to get long-term more pleasure by not doing heroin than doing heroin. Just an understanding of how you process. A short-term gain, long-term loss. or a short-term sacrifice, long-term gain, still a pleasure principle for most everything. All right, so back to the election. I want to go through a couple of things. And by the way, I know this is hard for some people to understand. It's okay for us to disagree. I don't have to be a monster for not supporting who you want me to support.
And don't tell me I am. Don't tell me I'm for sale. Don't tell me I'm a sellout. Don't tell me I'm a horrible person. Because I'm going to block you. And every year, a week or two after the primary, every two years, you go, hey, can you unblock me? No, because you probably said something really horrible and I don't need to listen to you. Well, I got passionate. Okay. Good. You understand. We don't have to be friends. We don't have to agree on things. I know that's hard for people to understand. You've been told the customer's always right. So when you go in and act a complete ass in a restaurant, they're supposed to just tolerate you abusing their staff. No, that's not true. I have my parameters and my boundaries, and I get to do that. Guess what? I get to do that. You don't have to like it. Okay, you can listen to something else. I get to play the music as long as Ramon wants to play the music. I get to play the music. We choose. I get to talk about what I want to say, and I get to say what I want to say. And you don't have to like it. You can go listen to somebody else or nothing at all. Oh, you're arrogant. No. No. I'm an advanced human being. You should try it. I don't come telling you what to do it, how to do it. You don't get to control me. And the fact that you do control other people and make them miserable doesn't affect me. See, that's how I process this life. That's how I move through it happy. You don't have to do that. So back to the point. I'm going to tell you a couple of things that I think are important in this race. And if you disagree, by all means, go post on your own page your candidates. Tell your friends your candidates. Right? So I told you Don Hooper for Republican Party chair. I've told you why. I've told you Ken Paxton because he'll actually do something whereas John Cornyn doesn't. I've told you Ken Paxton because he will win in November because we'll show up and vote for him. I had somebody tell me yesterday. There's a poll that came out and said 2% of John Cornyn's people won't vote for Ken Paxton and Ken Paxton wins. If John Cornyn's people are people who don't care to beat James Talarico, what does that tell you about John Cornyn? Think about that for a moment. What does that tell you? I'm not going to be held hostage. You can have Corning or John Cornyn Light? Which one is it? No, no. I'm taking back my government. Period. End of story. But Michael, we might lose to James Talarico. We didn't lose to Beto. We're not going to lose to James Talarico. Have some confidence. Have an opinion in your brain that's your opinion, not Karl Rove, not some consort. If you understood how diabolical these people are, they sit in a room and go, all right, Ken Paxton's positives are way higher than our positives. Our guy's been around for 24 years. We can't make his positives any higher. We can't say he did something. We can say, let's name a highway for Trump five days before the election. Them dumbasses will believe it. as if somebody's sitting out there in Anahuac going, you know, I wasn't sure who I was going to vote for, Paxon or Corn, but at least John Cornyn trying to get a highway name for Trump. If Trump wanted a highway, you'd name the damn thing himself. You argued against Trump. You stabbed him in the back and all of us. We're not stupid. The Michael Barry Show is nationwide. Again, vote how you want. Just understand.
That people can make a, I could make you using things that are true about you into a demon in an ad that would have you lose your breath and maybe faint. Because every single thing about you can be twisted. Every single thing about you. It's what consultants do. They make a lot of money doing it. You ever wonder what consultants do? You ever wonder why they get so rich? Because they take a candidate who, if you put those two next to each other, would lose. And they say very nasty things about the other guy that will get in your head so much so that you'll think you came up with them yourself. I'll give you an example. Michael, I'm for Chip Roy. Why aren't you for Chip Roy? He's a fighter. How do you know? Well, he is. Because he told you he was. All right. Well, how about this? Chip Roy came out and worked against Trump. On January 6th, we learned a lot. We learned a lot about Mike Pence. We learned a lot about Cheney and Liz Cheney and Kinziger. We learned a lot. We learned about Bill Cassidy. That's why they just rejected him in Louisiana. We learned who the fighters were, Ken Paxton among them. When Chip Roy came out and trashed Trump, at that moment, he believed Trump was done and he could do that. At that moment, I saw an opportunist and a guy who was going against everything he had supposedly believed. Do you have any of that audio? Yeah. Go ahead. Some of our brothers and sisters, particularly in the, you know, Maga camp, I think, particularly enjoy the circular firing squad. You want to come out me and call me a rhino? You can kiss my ass. Look, I've spent a lifetime fighting for limited government conservatism. I have laid it all on the line. I have not seen my family for two days in the last 30 days. You go around talking your big game and you thumping your chest on Twitter. Yeah, come in my office and come out of a debate. You know why? Because I'm standing up for this country every single day. And Steve, I'm not going to give up. I'm not going to go to a nunnery. Because damn it, there were people who were buried over in Normandy who deserve us to stand up with what they fought for. So that's what I'm going to do. And all of you out there who are out there saying what you're saying out on social media, you stick it. I'm going to go down to the floor and do my job. And I'm going to stand up for the people who fought for this country. And I'm going to do it the way I think is right for the people that I represent. That's what I think. What happened to a country where we can't even have order? All of a sudden, taking the exact same position as Nancy Pelosi and CNN was patriotic. All of a sudden, calling Americans who walked to the Capitol after a Trump speech, terrorists, insurrectionists, is what our grandfathers died at Normandy for? That feels a little put on. I made a decision at that moment. Because that's the time you know everything about someone. Not what they say during peace. It's at a moment of war like that that you see. When you're taking the same position as Liz Cheney, Adam Kinsinger, Jeb Bush, and the Democrats, and Nancy Pelosi.
When what's coming out of your mouth sounds like the exact same thing coming out of Barack Obama's mouth or Nancy Pelosi's. I'd rather you not claim that's what our grandfathers died at Normandy for. But fine. You get to do that. Okay. Well, Mays Middleton is winning. And everybody knows it. Mays almost won the primary without a runoff. That's not true. No, no, no, no. That's different race. I'm wrong. I've got numbers in my head. That's not right. But Mays Middleton is leading. Everybody knows this. So the Chip Roy people have to do something. What do they do? They say, ah, I got it. We got to attack Mays. Because the negatives on Chip Roy are high of his own making. And the negatives on Mays aren't high enough. What can we punish him for? I got it. How's he going to be attorney general? He's not even a courtroom lawyer. And it works. I don't think people say, Michael, I don't know if I can be for Mays. He's not even a courtroom lawyer. Right. What does the attorney general do? Well, he, uh, he's the lawyer, is he? I'm not sure Donald Trump can be president. Because he's the commander in chief. I've never even seen him fly a plane. How's he going to lead our air force? I've never seen him in combat. How's he on an M27? He's not even certified for the most basic guns our military carries into battle. How are we going to win in Iran? Trump can't even shoot any of the guns. How's he going to be the commander in chief? Who'll shoot the guns? He can't. The Attorney General's office has over 4,000 employees. 700 of them are lawyers, 175 peace officers, four tactical units, 117 offices statewide, prosecuting over 30,000 cases, and over 1.9 million child support cases. Do you know how many of those Ken Paxton's going into a courtroom for? I don't expect you to understand how the Attorney General's office works, but I do expect you to be a bit more skeptical that you're being duped. I don't know how Nick Saban's going to coach. He's not even big enough to play right tackle. I need to see him in a three-point stance. I don't know how Nick Saban's going to coach the team. He can't even throw a football more than 10 yards. He can't even run a 4-4-40. How's he going to coach the team? Stop and ask yourself a question. Do you think people told you that Mays Middleton couldn't be the Attorney General because he's not a courtroom lawyer? Because they wanted you to understand how the Attorney General's office or any other major governmental office works?
Exclusively produced by Hawaiian Chad Nakanishi. Aloha, Broha, the Michael Bari Weiss Show. The last thing I'll say about elections for today. Is no matter what you see in a campaign ad, question just a touch, anything you've learned a couple of days before we're supposed to start voting. All of a sudden this is coming out. Odd timing. It may not be true. You may have had a DWI when you were 19 or 23. Now you're 58 and you're a good guy. You might have lost your job. Fell behind on child support. Still loved your kid. Oh, by the way. Your ex was dating a rich guy and using this to try to get sole custody and running you through the courts when you couldn't afford a lawyer and she could. Or most any other thing. You might have been accused of something you didn't do. That happens. You might have taken the position as a judge, as a company leader. That was the right decision. You'd stand by it. And if people knew all the facts, they'd side with you. They're not going to get to know all the facts. It's going to be twisted and contorted. Everyone, see if you can find that ad, the John Cornyn versus Ken Paxton parody we made a couple weeks ago of Ken Paxton's such a bad guy. I'm amused by the Mays Middleton hasn't even practiced law. He just worked in his family business. You know, there was another guy who just worked in his family business until he took over his family business. And his name is Donald Trump. Is he such a bad guy? Is working in your family business now a bad thing? Is Levi good, less a man that he took over the business his dad started and grew it and expanded it? Is he a bad guy? Is Chris Pappas a bad guy because he came up through his father's business? Is Russell Embara a bad guy because he grew up in the Tex-Mex business and grew it and expanded it but started in his father's business as an eight-year-old washing dishes in the kitchen?
Just process for a moment. It's a very healthy game. What could be the alternative to that? What are they not telling me? Well, Mays Middleton, it's always a Texas voice. You know, they go get that Waterburger guy that's in California. Mays Middleton, he's not even practicing law in the courtroom. How is he going to be the Attorney General? Boom, boom! And then you get some picture where the lighting is all jacked up and, you know, you catch, you take a thousand frame photo and you take the one where their faces, a little catty-womp. How is he going to prosecute criminals? Will the Attorney General really prosecute criminals? How is he going to represent us in court when that's not what he's been going? Well, I don't want to blow your mind. Don't tell anybody else I told you this, even though it's true. But do you know that you don't even have to have a law degree to serve on the United States Supreme Court? Did you know that? You're not crazy. You don't have to be trained in the law. You don't have to have a, you don't even have to have gone to law school. You don't have to have passed the bar. You don't have to have any certification. You don't have to be able to spell the word law. Two things have to happen. You have to be nominated by a president and confirmed by the Senate. They could confirm Donald Trump to the United States Supreme Court. That's constitutional. That could happen.
You don't have to have a law degree to serve on the Supreme Court. You don't have to have been in a courtroom. By the way, think of the flip side to all of that. There are plenty of people who have plenty of courtroom trial experience who would be a horrible attorney general because they don't share your values. I want somebody who's ambitious in that role. I want somebody who wants to go from there to the next one. Because I want them to bring cases that are uncomfortable, cases that make people squirm on the left. You only do that if you want a higher office. Whether you realize this or not, you want people who are ambitious. You want people who want you to like them, you, their base. You don't want people who go there and don't want to make waves. That's the guy that sells you out. Because to do what we want done, to close the border, you had to have, you had to piss people off. To deport the bad guys, you had to create a situation where the Democrats were willing to create murder in the streets. You understand this, right? You don't want nice guys going in there. Trump's not a nice guy. You think he is? Ken Paxton's not a nice guy. He's a brawler. You want brawlers. You want gamers. You want people that relish the fight. You're not looking for the youth director at your church. That may be who you are, and that's fine. That may be who you're married to. Great. It's a much more stable home environment. I wouldn't want my daughter being married to Ken Passon or Donald Trump for that matter. Or Ted Cruz, he's got to travel all the time. Those are very different roles. I wouldn't want my daughter being married to whoever's playing defensive line for the football team. I want my daughter being married to Lawrence Taylor. But I want Lawrence Taylor in that outside linebacker position because he's going to rip somebody's head off. I want my daughter marrying Mike Tyson. But man, he'd go into the room and do what he'd go into the ring and do what I wanted him to do. How about Chuck Liddell? I don't want my daughter marrying Chuck Liddell, but I'm going to bet on him. Understand the assignment, folks. We're not looking for the minister of the church. We're not looking for the person to marry our daughter. You're hiring a hitman. You're hiring somebody to go into the den of inequity and get in there and brawl with the Democrats. We've had too many nice guys. I'm Mike Pence. I will not have a meeting with a woman unless there is another woman present because I'm a gentleman and something bad could happen. And I'm a nice fella. I get these nails polish once a week, get my shoes polished, get my hair cut like you ought to. I'm prim and proper like a Presbyterian minister from 1922. We don't need Calvin Coolidge. Do you understand this, folks? We are up against a demon. You understand that? We are up against a demon. We cannot hire shrinking violence to go into these jobs because I'm going to tell you this, whether you're Ken Paxton or Trump.
When you do what you and I expect us, expect you to do, the demons that are formed against you are many. And if you go down there and cannot stand alone like brave Horatius defending the bridge. Let's understand what we're hiring somebody to do, not to be a nice guy. Michael Bari Weiss Show continues. I can't get it on my... Early voting this week. Election Day next Tuesday, please don't wait until then. Republican Party primary. This is the candidates who will face off against the Democrats in November. And many folks will wake up about October. And say, now, these are our candidates, mm-hmm. I ain't much better than the Democrats, and sometimes they'll be right. Golly. Why can't we get better candidates? Do you vote in the primary? No, no, I've been busy. It's okay not to vote in the primary. It's okay not to care about the process. It really is. It's not criminal. It's not awful. We shouldn't need to care about politics this much. If government wasn't such a big part of our lives, it could be like everything. You don't worry too much about the Adult Hide and Seek League that meets Wednesday night at the library because it doesn't affect you. They do their thing. I'm sure they get in arguments. Bob says he saw Sammy. Sammy didn't. Somebody made a noise. You don't worry about it. It doesn't affect you. They go about their lives. They do what they do. They have arguments. Bob might get discipline. He might get kicked out. He cheated. He went down one floor. He was supposed to stay on the same floor. Sam used the elevator. He's not supposed to use the elevator. And boy, they'll battle it out. They might have a special meeting to determine, to adjudicate whether Bob's allowed to compete, whether his team really won or not. They would care all about it. They'd be real, real into it. And you wouldn't need to care at all because it does not affect you. Sure, government should affect you. They decide how much of your money to take. They build the roads. They build the schools. They operate the schools. They muster our military. All those things are important. Yeah. But it shouldn't have to be this important. But when the left made it this important and so intrusive into your life and showed their willingness with the minority of Americans to take over the majority in every aspect of your life and cram it down your private business. Your bedroom, your living room, your checkbook, your pocketbook, your roads, your church, then you had to fight fire with fire. Okay, last thing on the Amaze Middleton versus Chip Roy case. Rachel Palmer Hooper wrote an article entitled, Hypocrisy Exposed. All of this, by the way, is verifiable. She says in his 2026 race for Texas Attorney General, Chip Roy has made a habit of attacking Mays Middleton, claiming Middleton lacks real, quote, trial lawyer experience and has never stood up in a courtroom as a prosecutor. Chip Roy loves to position himself as the battle-tested courtroom warrior with federal prosecutorial credentials.
But the official federal court records on PACER, which is where you go to look up cases that are filed and the details of the filings, tell a very different story, one that exposes Roy's attack as pure hypocrisy. Charles Eugene Chip Roy served only about six months as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas back in 2009. Before resigning to ghostwrite Rick Perry's book, Fed Up, and then joined Perry's presidential campaign. He appears as the lead government attorney in exactly 19 federal cases. That's his entire documented, quote, courtroom experience. Quote unquote, courtroom experience. The dockets show mostly routine supervised release revocations transferred from other districts and straightforward gun possession plea deals. Roy filed early procedural motions, handled initial appearances. That's where you show up in the court. Of course, all right, we're going to set this trial for this time. We're going to do this at this time. Okay, thank you. And everybody goes back to lunch. Part of the process. And negotiated, please. That means somebody got charged with gun possession. You go, well, we'll let you off with this. If you do this, okay, fine. All right. then was terminated as attorney of record in nearly every longer case before sentencing or trial. He was never a seasoned trial lawyer in private practice, never led complex prosecutions through verdict, and spent the rest of his legal career in policy and political roles. Nothing wrong with that. But he's not a seasoned courtroom lawyer, as he'd have you believe. And then she goes through every case and gives you every Case file number that you can look up and paste for yourself. I'll post this to our, to our Facebook page. USA versus Cavasos, USA versus Crother, USA versus Price, USA versus Hunt. One of them was, okay, we'll just take one at random. USA versus Hunt. Stolen property transfer from Arkansas. Chip Roy appeared at one initial hearing, then the case was terminated, or then he was terminated. USA versus Laskowitz, drug case from Georgia. Same day procedural transfer. Administrative, no substance. All of this. Paper lawyer stuff. Nothing wrong with it. It's got to be done. But it's administrative. It's not courtroom. This ain't Perry Mason. It's not Busby in a courtroom. It's not Dan Cogdell in a courtroom. None of the courtroom heroics. None of it. Which, by the way, you don't need to have ever been in court to be the attorney general. You don't need to be a great courtroom lawyer to be a good attorney general. It's a leadership role. There are great coaches in football at every level who never played the game themselves, including Mike Leach. There are great players. They're great coaches who played but weren't any good. That's okay too. But let's not. Let's not vote based on false facts. Well, how come I'm to say it if it ain't true? I don't know. How come to say that Donald Trump was a rapist? How come him to tag 34 felonies on him? How come him to raid his panty drawer? How come Fat Fannie and her boyfriend, investigator who she was paying with tax dollars and acting like fat rabbits during the prosecution? How about Jack Smith being put in an office for the sole purpose of bringing him down? How about Alvin Bragg in Manhattan bringing cases against him?
How about Letitia James bringing cases on supposed mortgage fraud when she was doing it herself? You know there are people who believe that Trump's a rapist? You know there are people who believe that Trump did all those things that Democrats claim? Because very smart people were paid a lot of money to tell that story in a way that fooled the Democrats. And I got a dirty little secret for you. There are people paid a lot of money to convince you of things that may not be true, and they get a victory bonus when their candidate wins it. I'm supporting Alex Mueller in the congressional race, Congressional District 9. And instead of saying, hey, I disagree. I like Briscoehan. He's been my state rep. I like him. He's been to my house. He's my friend. Michael Barry's for me. He's a sellout. Tell me one penny I've ever gotten for supporting a single candidate. That's what Dan Crenshaw said too. Do you know why they do that? Because I don't get paid as a consultant. There are people who get paid. The link letter, Terry Lowry prays over whether he'll endorse you or not, and then you pay him a lot of money and he sends it out. But he does that prayer after you write. The link letter is bought and paid for. Gary Pollan's letter, bought and paid for. I tell you who I support based on who I support for the reasons I support them. That means I'm always right. I didn't like Trump at the beginning. I've come to think he's the best president out there and some of his biggest fans have turned on it. But hey, at least you know how I honestly feel. Our little podcast is the podcast that could, the little engine that could. You know, when we started, it was just a simple rebroadcast of our show. And they would take it over and put it on this new podcast platform. I didn't think anything of it. He rips that pipe out of the ground all the way. And he goes off and sells that to somebody else who needs the pipe. It's a beautiful process. And people call him all from our show, from our podcast, all over the country. Thepipeyard, inc.com. 409-78-pipe. 409-788 pipe talk to ray the pipe man my good buddy i'm on testosterone and i encourage everybody else to be on testosterone if you're below 350 on your testosterone level very good chance your insurance will pay for you to have it you know why there's a lot of studies that say it's very good for you not just your sex life but your energy your strength all sorts of good things do your own research don't trust me
But you should do your research, and you should get your blood panels checked, and they'll do all that for you at synergenics. Go to fixmylowt.com. Fix my lowtie.com.
