It's time to end this shutdown. GOP senators met with President Trump. What was this yesterday, I think? And from what we understand, they are, they're not going to budge. They're not moving. The president says he will meet with Democrats. He's got one condition, though. Open the government. Well, that's our ball. That's the art of the deal. By the way, who's getting paid and who's not? Trump doesn't want to waste of time getting everybody together. Oh, and by the way, think about this, the money of getting everybody on an airplane and multiple airplanes and heading over. to Budapest where they said they were going to do this instead they'll just move forward hoping that they'll continue to make their march towards peace there but obviously you know there's been an issue with diplomacy stalling out plans of sort of frozen we've seen more fighting in recent days as well

This is big news. The arrests continue and possibly the indictments right along with them. House Republicans have now referred John Brennan over to the DOJ for prosecution. Former CI director. has been referred to the DOJ for criminal prosecution, accusing him lying to Congress about the CIA's involvement with the discredited steel dossier. Trump, obviously, at the center of that, and man, oh man, Dem's losing, well, it's not just losing their mind over that. That's going to send them down a whole other rabbit hole to spare. They had a little bit of a conversation about this yesterday in the Oval Office. No matter what KJP says, by the way, she's out on a tour right now for a book she wrote. I don't know who would read it. I guess there are a few people that would buy it. I just don't know that they would read it. Anyway. They asked her the other day about, I just think it's funny because she's on some podcast promoting the book. And she's out there saying, you know, Biden talk with press more than Trump ever does. It's just so funny because every day we got more clips to Trump. And I've never. I don't know about you, but I've never seen anything like it. He loves talking about it's transparent there's ever been. He was in the Oval yesterday talking about the shutdown, and his words for Chuck Schumer. But he would be, I would say he would be the leader in the point. He's not Chuck Schumer. Chuck Schumer, Chuck Schumer shot. He's shot. This poor guy, I feel sorry for him. I don't know him for a long time, but he's, I think he's mentally gone. He's been beat up by young radical lunatics. And I think Chuck Schumer is, he's guns. I really do. You know, but I understand some of this is hyperbole and negotiation tactic and whatnot. But it is, it's kind of funny because the truth that's interlayed, that's woven into what he's saying here, and it's right on the money. The truth is that Chuck Schumer has lost control. And some of the most.

moderate in that party that, well, you might call them reasonable. You know, if you look at that, that might be Senator John Fetterman. That might be the only person left. So everyone else is sort of playing the game of, you know, trying to appease everyone and appeal to everyone. And you know how hard that is. So anyway, John Fetterman's the only one with the Konez to go out there and actually say, hey, you know, maybe we shouldn't be so violent to everyone. That's wild. That's the guy. That's the guy now. And they're actually looking at it like trying to move him out of the party, which is a whole other thing too. But anyway, I just thought it was kind of fascinating to see that whole thing play out. And as I mentioned, It's just a matter of time. It's just a matter of time. The AOCs of the world, the Zohran Mamdani's? Did you see the debate the last and final debate last night? Mayor in New York City. They got this crazy radical Zohran Mamdani. It's not just the fact that he seems to be pretty... out there as a like sort of a Muslim extremist kind of guy but he's he's also a commie a full-on commie they're like there's no getting around any of this well they look who paid for the march this past weekend they don't want you to know this but the the Communist Party of America was one of the big sponsors. And, of course, you can guess the people telling we got to tax the billionaires and get rid of the billionaires and we don't want kings anymore, weren't willing to tell you that the billionaire kings are the ones who paid for that March. Anyway, I digress. My point is, is Trump is saying Chuck Schumer doesn't know what to do because that radical left wing of the same people that don't know who are men and women, what women are and who can breastfeed and who can have kids, etc. Those are the people pulling him around on the shutdown. I think he's probably not going to run. It shows that he's losing in every poll. Now, this is hard. You know, he wants to meet with me. Sort of hard. To be with the guy after I make a statement like that, but I'm just giving the facts. I think Chuck is probably finished. I know some people, Democrats, that would be good, some good politicians and some, you know, reasonable people. But I understand that they would not have a chance of, you know, getting, even the concept of holding the torch. They're not going to get it. But they have some people that... I really believe they're low IQ people. They're stupid people. And they seem to be leading the party. Now, you know who he's talking about, right? I mean, that should be pretty clear. The bartender from the Bronx, right? Well, she's not really even from there, but, you know, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. That's who he's talking about. He said he will meet with the Democrats, the one condition from the president. Do this.

first. I'd love to meet with them. I just want them to open up the country first. You know, the country is so hot right now. And they've never voted against, you know, continuation. They've never voted again. They've never done that. They're doing this because they have Trump derangement syndrome. But I would love to meet. I would like to meet with both of them. But I set one little caveat. I will only meet. if they let the country open. They have to let the country open. The people want to go back to work. They want to be served. They need the services of some people. And a lot of people need the money, the payroll. So I'll do it as soon as they open up the country. I'd like to meet. I'd love to meet. Yeah. That's, you want to meet? That's pretty solid. You want to mean open up the country. That's how we can start. But you think that sounds kind of hard line maybe, but let me tell you why it's not, okay? First and foremost, this continuing resolutions, it's almost so good for Democrats that Republicans could slash should be sort of concerned. Wait a minute, I thought we weren't doing these anymore, particularly not ones that Democrats and Republicans had agreed to under Biden previously. That's what the spinning levels are. There's nothing changed. They don't want to do that, and the reason they don't want to do that is because they're trying to undo everything done in the one big beautiful bill. That's what they're trying to get Republicans to do right now. Essentially, an I.E. Give illegal aliens free health care. You don't even have that. But they want to do that. And so this is part of that conversation. This is part of that whole. And will it play out thing? That's the next, that's the whole next question. And this is the craziest part. If you can wrap your head around this, this thing, by the time they get it signed if they actually do, you know, they vote on it and all get it agreed to, this thing is set to end in a couple of weeks anyway. So they're going to be back at the table again. I mean, it was only supposed to go a few weeks end in November so they can have just a temporary measure in place to keep everything funded. Trump says get the government back open and we can start negotiating everything else. Well, we'll see. We'll see how it all plays out. Again, truth, logic, and common sense, explanations, context. Some Dearborn residents asking the city to order mosques to turn down loud calls to prayer about 40 Christian residents filing a petition with the city council. And Vice President JD Vance in Israel to ensure phase one of the peace plan between Hamas terrorists and Israel holds. Here's the vice president. The only real mediators are the United States of America. And so that's the role that we're going to play. I think the American people should be proud of it. Scott Jennings has some interesting words about it. In fact, the real reason the Dems want the government shut down. That is coming up. Hakeem Jeffries with a warning. A warning for you. And gosh, yes, KJP is out there talking about her book. I don't know if you've seen. Well, some of it is the natural sort of press tour that she's on. And she is out there sort of. Oh, she sounded just as crazy as ever. But you know what's the most wild for me to watch it is her look is completely different. Like hair and everything, completely different. I don't know if it's extensions or how they do this, but maybe it's all straightened out. I don't know the gals and their hair. You ladies will have to tell me how this works. But she looks completely. I didn't recognize her at first. But here she is contradicting herself. At one point yesterday, she said we had the clip. Oh, yeah, no, Biden talked to people more than Trump ever did. Biden was always, so here she is a couple of clips from yesterday promoting her book that nobody will buy except that's the payoff. They do you book deal? And, of course, who do you think comes in and buys up all the books, special interests and whatever? The billionaires. And then that's the way to kind of send them off. So here she is saying, you were always honest. You couldn't hide the fact that he was aging. We were always honest. You couldn't hide the fact that Biden was always aged. See, they're rewriting everything. And we saw that.

There were moments where it showed that he was eight. No one is, no one is denying that. He is. Wait a minute. This is her just a year, just a year ago. The sharp as ever, as I have known him to be in my engagement and my experience with him. He's sharp as ever. You know, wait a minute. We couldn't deny the fact that he was always, that he was aging. No, no, he's sharp as attack, folks. Sharp as attack. And I know when I walk into the Oval Office or seeing him on Air Force One, I have to be on top of my game. I do. I mean, and that's just kind of my engagement with him and how it's been for the past couple of years. The reason she didn't tell you why she had to be top of her game, that's a whole other story. It's because he probably didn't even recognize her. Look, I don't mean the laugh. It's not funny. What has happened and what happened over the last four years? It's horrific. Not just with the treatment of Biden himself, but what has happened, of course, auto pen running everything. That's probably the worst part of it. But. Yeah, it's from a human perspective, that was bad. Here she is, again, this was from yesterday lying about how much access the press got to mind. We did have legislative wins. Sure, but he didn't talk about them that well, though. He couldn't talk about it. First of all, first of all, he did talk about them. Whether it broke through or not, he did. Tim, he did talk about. He talked way less to the press than Donald Trump does. Wait, here we go. By the way, did you hear that he did. That's her saying, agree with me. Come on. Agree with me. Now she's going to tell you that Biden talked to the press just as much as Trump may be more. He wasn't out there at all. He wasn't good off the cuff. He wasn't doing press conferences. Let's just be real. It's true. This guy living in reality. I think a lot of Democrats are frustrated with that, too. That's not true. Tim, you're conflating all of it. That's what you're doing. No, first you're telling me he didn't talk well about it. Then you're telling me he didn't talk at all. He didn't do either. He didn't talk very often. And when he did, it wasn't very good. Maybe you weren't paying attention to what we were doing at the white. This guy. fully grounded in truth, logic, and common sense. Reality, she's, she's, you can see the nose getting longer by the minute. I paid attention that I'm with you on the policies. I'm talking about his performance. The president, the president spoke to the American people a couple times a week. Yeah, it's just, it's just not true. None of it. And you, you all have their memory. I mean, it's just that we're talking about a year ago, if that, right? To remember what this guy was like. You don't have to go too far back into the anals of history to see what that is. The president said today he'd be happy to meet with the Democrats if they stop holding the government hostage. They could easily walk in there tonight, pass the CR, give us seven weeks. The president brings everybody together. And my... strong belief is that they would wind up negotiating on a number of issues and they would come to an agreement the president doesn't want to negotiate under duress in the hill today a democrat senator anonymously said none of us want to vote to open the government because quote we'd face the guillotine that's their words from our base yeah look i think you just made a very it's the real reason again i just explain this And I explained a little bit further behind the scenes of the live stream off the air here, Facebook, Twitter, X, Rumble, get our locals, YouTube, all the different folks listening. Got a chance to hear this. But essentially, the Chuck Schumer shut down, which I now call the Chuck Schumer shakedown, all the shenanigans from Chuck Schumer all come at the fact, as you heard President Trump kind of mentioned yesterday, that he's been held hostage by the sort of crazy radical Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Zohran Mamdani wing of the party. And he's afraid he's going to lose power. In fact, it sounds like he already has in a lot of ways. But the truth is, all of this still has a big impact as it's going on. We're in the third week now. And again, I mentioned this just earlier. This whole CR, this whole thing is really reasonable. It's so reasonable. Even Republicans might say it's a little too reasonable for me. Conservatives might say, I don't know, it's a little too reasonable with this continuing race, but it only was set to go for a couple of weeks here. In fact, it would expire later into November. They'd have to do all of this all over again. Democrats continue to drag their feet. Republicans not going to budge. And why you saw President Trump getting the credit for holding, I think, firm in this. His approval rating, as witnessed by CNN yesterday, we played for you up. actually up during the three weeks of this Chuck Schumer shakedown. From the Treasury, counselor to the secretary, Scott Bessent. Joe LaVorn, you're joining us right now with the latest on this, and we appreciate you being here, maybe break it down some of the actual effect that people are feeling right now because of it. Yeah, well. The CEA, House Economic Advisors, Justin, estimated that we could be losing $15 billion per week. and lost output because of the shutdown. Clearly, there are a lot of the central government service providers of people in the military law enforcement that are working without a paycheck, air traffic controllers. I mean, from a security perspective, you know, you'd want to get those people paid, but to the extent that the government can't do its job, it can't do its business, it will ultimately hold and throttle back U.S. businesses, and that's one of the reasons so CEA.

estimates are a bit troubling because the longer it gets, you know, you keep adding to $15 billion per week. And at some point, you know, it could become even worse because the system, you know, needs to reopen. It needs to operate. The Democrats are holding the government shutdown as, you know, basically hostage, wholly a Republican hostage. And you hope at some point some cooler heads prevail that a couple more Democrats come over because, as you know, the Republicans don't have. The 60 votes, historically Republicans have always supported clean CRs when they were the minority party, no less than 15 support of clean CRs going back before Democrat administrations. Over the last four years, the Democrats themselves passed something like 13 clean CRs. So this is politics as usual, but unfortunately it's the worst sort of politics because it's damaging the economy, damaging confidence in the U.S. system, if you will, and I just hope at some point, as I said, that some of the lunacy on the left moderates in a way that we can reopen the government and get back to doing business. With this right now, as a counselor to the Secretary, Scott, the Senate, the U.S. Treasury, Joseph Livorne. So, you know, it's interesting because all of those things that you mentioned, I can't help but here, and I don't know, maybe just coincidence, but is that part of the goal here is to damage the economy? It's doing so well. We've got gas prices at, what, record? They're down the lowest in four years right now. Yeah, basically, and they're going to probably break that, Justin. I mean, it's basically. I don't have to really go back to Trump 1.0 because so much production is coming online that, yes, we're at a four-year low, but it's going lower. So anyway, that's a huge tax cut for Americans and a huge tax break for businesses. Yeah, it's massive. We're in the middle of that. I'm going to pick that out because it's one of the things that I think is most clear and most obvious for folks. I've never seen the left. They're mad even about that. They'll complain about people getting more affordable gas prices. It's insane to me. Well, I mean, yeah, maybe they want to hurt the – I mean, the president's done so well managing the economy and the stewardship of Secretary Beston has been fantastic that maybe they just want to – it's hard for me to be this cynical. But maybe that's right. Maybe this is just an evil approach to just to kind of destroy what's good. I don't know. I hope that's not the case. I'm with you, too. I don't want to think that way, but at the same time, it is – Boy, it's odd. He said he will meet with the Democrats one condition. They've got to open the government.

It does not want to negotiate under duress. That's an obvious, and I think pretty clear position. You don't want to be backed into a corner. And they could simply just open things up. They're the ones that have to come through with the votes to make that happen. And essentially, we just give us a couple of weeks to really get back into negotiating. They'd probably get everything they want. I don't know, Justin, maybe. I mean, the one thing, what was really important about the one big, beautiful bill, is it got uncontrolled spending. Sure, that's right. You know, on a much healthier glide path. So what we saw as a deficit this year that was lower than $41 billion, lower than where it was last year, $100 billion lower or more, actually, than what the CBO had predicted back in January. But more importantly, Justin, if you look at the trends since. President Trump was able to wrestle control of this runaway spending frame. The numbers from April onwards show dramatic improvement, which means if you extrapolate those trends, you're going to get a much lower deficit next year. And why does that matter? Well, because interest rates come down. Housing affordability, which was horrible under the prior four years, will improve. Corporate borrowing costs will come down. That will help lift stock prices. Everybody benefits. from those low rates if the fiscal house is in order. So why would the Republicans having gotten this bill with the president's leadership, the secretary best of stewardship, why in the world would they want to backtrack on this signature piece of legislation that was signed on July 4th? to then put the U.S. back on the sustainable path that been on under the prior administration. It doesn't make any economic sense. And by the way, the financial markets would hate that. They would hate if the U.S. reversed course because President Trump has put the economy on a solid course. That's why that is one important reason why the stock marks on an all-time record high. It is optimistic that this golden era, this economic boom, which we've seen in the GDP data, will persist. and it will do it in a way that generates strong worker wages with low inflation. That was the hallmark of the first Trump presidency, and it will be even more pronounced in the second Trump administration. But, boy, let's just get the government reopened, and we could deal with some of these other political issues later. You know, you kind of touched on some of this. Joseph LeVornier with us right now, counselor to the secretary of the treasury, but this tariff. It was really starting to become very interesting. Here in Michigan, we saw Stalantis announce a big $13 billion investment. Not only are we saying. Lots of folks getting back to making things in America again. We're also hearing stories like, hey, you know, truck drivers are making more right now than they have in a long time because some of these folks, illegals, aren't driving anymore. So that's actually increasing their pay in a big way. But this tariff thing, I saw how much money is coming in from this. And you sort of just touched on this. How big is that?

Well, we're generating roughly $30 billion per month, so that's $360 billion per year. Over a 10-year period is $3.6 trillion. But remember, if you generate $3.6 trillion in deficit savings, that means your interest rates are going to be lower, so there's an additional benefit from lower interest costs because the debt is shrinking. At about $3.3 trillion, using the CBO Congressional Budget Office numbers. you save about $700 billion total and lower interest expense because the deficit's lower. So if you're at $3.6 or even higher, then that interest savings will be maybe $8,900, maybe a trillion in savings. So it's a huge number. But what's important, Justin, is this not the tariffs that will bring in the revenues in places like Michigan, which are so important to the industrial backbone of the U.S. economy, President Trump's policies are encouraging capital to come into the U.S. capital to remain in the U.S., capital to be used to build factories, to create American jobs. That's all part of the one big, beautiful bill. And the Treasury with the IRS is working to codify and finalize all this rulemaking, which at some point, John, Justin, will suffer from the government being shut down because we need to have that. Final tally on what the full expensing of capital equipment looks like. We need to know exactly on the factory expensing, which is the first time ever you build a factory in Michigan. You could expense that whole structure year one. That is hugely positive for creating high paying jobs and getting the industrial heartland and the U.S. manufacturing base back. And with the Democrats keeping the government closed, eventually this persists a lot longer. The ability for us to finalize this bill in time or the details are going to be compromised. That's just not good for anybody. He's a counselor to the Secretary of Treasury there at, of course, the latest conversation on this, at Livornianomics. One of the biggest is to me is sort of debunking, well, maybe I don't even know if that's the right word to use it. But yeah, I guess clearing the air on clickbait. What do I mean by that? I saw, well, I guess it was yesterday, or maybe the day before, but it's run, it's been all over. Oh my gosh, is Trump going to pardon ditty? Puffy. Puff daddy. And it's been on all of these sites. And, like, even supposed, like, I would say, like, the sites, it's trying to play off like their actual news sites. Even local TV stations, you know. Well, this is a guy, of course, you know, he got in big, he got hot water. Lord knows what he was doing at the deady parties. That's a whole other thing. And he got into hot water over all of that. And on top of it, he, you know, you had the video what he did to his girlfriend and whether or not he was arranging, you know, some sort of, I think that barely scratched the surface what he got charged for, what he was up to. Let's just put it that way. Now, he's kind of a bad ombre. Let's just say that.

Bad dude. So the question is, is he going to pull? Well, you know where this comes from. Again, this is a whole, first of all, it's a clickbait thing that they're selling because they thought, well, this will get us folks watching. This will get us folks following, clicking, reading, whatever they get paid for. And they all have different things that are getting paid for all these different media sites and whatnot. But the left also loved it because right now they're trying to lump Trump in with Epstein and all that other stuff. So they threw, well, he'll probably pardon Puffy and then the thing took off. So we got to clear the air. The White House says it ain't happening. Rumors of an imminent pardon for Puffy not accurate. The president not anonymous sources. The final decider on pardons and commutations, according to the White House. Denying rumors first circulating by TMZ of all places, trying to push that garbage, probably, I guess, trying to sell clicks, people coming to the website and all that. So anyway, they reported a high-ranking White House official confirming Trump was considering commuting the 50-month sentence, you know. over four years that he could be free as early as this week. He just did that with George Santos. Not a chance. Not a chance they're saying. So take that as you will. I have to clear the air on some of the stuff.
