276 segmentsThe radical left's agendas are attacking your values, but conservatives like you haven't forgotten what this country was built on. My friends, the Heritage Foundation exists to make sure your voice is heard and to represent your values in the D.C. Swamp. The Heritage Foundation stands for your values, and they won't give up the struggle, because they know you never will, paid for it by the Heritage Foundation. He's here. He's here. Now, broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker somewhere under the brick and steel of a non-district building, we've once again made contact with our leader. Mark Levin. It's Larry O'Connor sitting in for the great one, Mark Levin. Mark is still in Israel. He will be back. But listen, if you're missing Mark Levin like I am, I got an idea. Why don't you read his brand new bestselling book, On Power, Mark Levin, On Power. And then that'll make it feel like Mark is right there with you, sitting right next to you talking inside your head. In fact, if you're like me, you read his book in his voice, right? Mark Levin, On Power. Now let's talk about power. Wait, I'm sorry. You don't have a copy of On Power? What's wrong with you? All right. Fine, fine. We'll fix that. Go to your favorite book selling website right now. Whatever one you like to buy your books from. He's everywhere. It's everywhere. And buy it. Buy on power. You can get it overnighted. Or you can get the audiobook and you can start listening as soon as this program is over three hours from now. But get his book. And by the way, I meant to mention this Monday when I was filling in for the great one. But based on everything that we've seen this week, based on everything that happened with Charlie. Kirk and the assassination and the left's reaction and the media lies that we're going to be talking about quite a bit today it's the perfect reason why you need to read this book this is all about power the use of violence and propaganda and lies and bullying and intimidation and dehumanizing tactics to attain and hold power over you It's a great book. And one more thing about Mark's book on Power, you should get it for the young men and women in your life who are going to college, who are in high school. Whether that's a child, a grandchild, a niece, a nephew, a godchild, get them that book so that they can hold on to these ideas and understand exactly what kind of indoctrination. They're going to be having to push back on when they go to university or when they go to high school. They'll get more education in Mark Levin's book than they're going to get in most of their classes that you're paying way too much money for. Mark Levin on power. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I'm Larry O'Connor. I'm sitting in for Mark today. And we've got a lot to discuss.
over the course of the next three hours. And most of it all has a constant theme, which is you're being lied to. You're being lied to on a regular basis by the political class, by the Democrats, by the media. Sadly, by some podcasters on the conservative side of the spectrum who, for one reason or another, decide to lie to you about... Well, a basic truce. All because either they're looking for clicks or they just hate the Jews. I'm not sure. Could be both. Could be both. Oh, and speaking of lying Jews, Bernie Sanders came out today and said that it's inescapable that Israel is engaged in genocide in their war against Hamas. Oh, no, it is actually quite escapable. You don't have to reach that conclusion. And the lying media is going to describe Bernie Sanders as, you know, this is very important because he's Jewish, you know. Let me just quickly say. Now, I'll get to it in more detail later in the program. But just in case you're wondering, Bernie Sanders is as Jewish as I am. And I mean that quite literally. I'm Catholic. But genetically, from ethnicity. I actually am 25% Jewish by ethnicity. My grandfather on my mother's side was Jewish. He married a French Roman Catholic woman. And, well, that's where the Jewish part ends, of course. I wasn't raised in the faith in any way whatsoever. But that's my point. I am as Jewish as Bernie Sanders is in reality. And he is a disgrace for describing Israel's existential war against radical Islamic terrorism as a genocide. We'll get to all of that. We will. There's much to get to. But I want to start with the lies from the media. It's kind of my wheelhouse. I wrote my own book about it, actually, called Shameless Liars. You should get it. Because the media is engaged in one of the worst propaganda campaigns. that we've ever seen. And that's saying something. This is the same media that lied to you during the entire Biden presidency about, well, everything. It's the same media that has lied to you for over 10 years about who Donald Trump is, what his politics are, and who you are for supporting those politics. But what we've seen over the course of the last week, and it has been a week since we lost Charlie Kirk. The lies about the suspect, about the motive, about the circumstances that led to that violent, atrocious assassination. The lies about who Charlie Kirk was, and still is, by the way, what Turning Point USA is. The lies about the predominance of violence, political violence, motivated by the left, and how it far outweighs anything that could even... be considered political violence coming from the right. As J.D. Van said, yes, we've got our crazies on the right to, but it's nowhere near symmetrical in the scope and in the effectiveness of their violence and how that violence has manifest into bullying tactics that turn into policy. You just look at Black Lives Matter and how that violence and that destruction and that vandalism and that arson and those riots and that looting.
all turned into political power for the left. That doesn't happen on the right, not even close. And with all the statistics and graphs you see about political incidents and how the right is really responsible for all the political violence in our country, you know, just use your finger to just do one click on that graph and find out what the source is. Pull up the numbers and you will see. That, for instance, the Anti-Defamation League, they're a disgrace. Or the Southern Poverty Law Center, they're a lying deceitful manipulative propaganda disgrace. When they catalog political violence over the course of the last 10 or 20 years, they don't count the Black Lives Matter arsons. They don't count the riots. They don't count the people who were hurt and maimed and murdered during those riots for Black Lives Matter after George Floyd. They don't consider that political violence. They don't. That's just peaceful protest. I'm not choking. There were over 800 riots with vandalism. and violence in the 90 days after the death of George Floyd in 2020, and not one of those riots is included in left-wing political violence in those studies. So you're being lied to. You are being lied to. And I've got lots of examples that I'm going to share with you. right from their mouths that's been happening on the cable news and broadcast news networks for the last couple of days, and we've got a whole new round of them today. But I want to start with one fundamental lie. One fundamental lie that until the elite corporate legacy media can come to terms with this fundamental lie, they should never be trusted. And I'll present this lie. with a truth, a truth that you will not hear from the New York Times or the Washington Post or the L.A. Times or the broadcast networks or most of the cable news networks. But here on talk radio, we can say this, and I will say it. It is a truth, and you never hear this truth. Are you ready for it? Transwomen are men. There it is. I said it. And they can't say that. And that tells you why everything else is a house of cards, a throne of lies that they sit on. We have seen this play out most vividly yesterday with the media's coverage of the murder of Charlie Kirk. It's revealing not just for what they've reported, but for what they've tried desperately to cover up and obscure. Every network, every newspaper, every blue check on social media, they're paralyzed by the same dilemma. You've all seen it. They've twisted themselves into pretzels trying to figure out how to report one basic fact of this murder suspect. And that is his relationship, his homosexual relationship with his lover. They keep calling this guy a roommate. Or maybe they'll refer to him as a transitioning roommate.
Or a transgender roommate, but that's not the case. I want to be clear. They weren't roommates. They were gay lovers. The roommate wasn't just a quirky companion who liked to cosplay. Yes, he wore kinky furry costumes and he demanded to be identified as a woman. He insisted the world deny basic biological facts about what he had between his legs. The press corps, though, poisoned by woke left-wing trans-activist speech code, bend over backwards. to avoid that obvious fact and actually accommodate the lie in their reporting. This is a fundamental fact associated with a murder investigation, and the journalists and reporters and teleprompter readers who are presenting this news to you are lying about a basic fact. Instead of clarity, we get contortion. Instead of truth, we get euphemism. Journalists in hush tones tiptoe around pronouns and identities. They're terrified of offending the very ideology that has strangled their profession. They talk about gender identity as if it overrides reality. They repeat the mantra that trans women are women, which is a fundamental lie. Not because they believe it, but because they've been conditioned. to chant it like a mantra like a prayer like an oath the truth is not complicated trans women are not women they are men period full stop no amount of costumes or hormones or surgeries or speech policing can erase that fact the left has spent nearly a decade telling all of us the opposite of the truth academia has enforced it the medical establishment has codified it politicians have repeated it and the media once tasked with the quaint notion of speaking truth have instead demanded that the public bow before the lie and they did it all day today in reporting on the murder so now the lie collides with the most dominant story in America, and you can't unsee it. Charlie Kirk was murdered, and the people at the center of that story were not roommates. They were not part of some progressive fairy tale about love and identity. They were gay men in a relationship, one of whom played out bizarre sexual fantasies while insisting everyone else deny his male biology. That's the reality. That's the truth, and they won't tell you it. In story after story, the media refuses. To tell you the truth. They obscure it. They contort it. They demand you participate in the delusion. They ask you to deny your eyes, your reason, your conscience, and if you refuse, you're the problem. You've seen the pictures of this guy. I don't care if he's wearing a cute little fuzzy hoodie. He's a dude. This is why the credibility crisis facing journalism is not just a minor hiccup. It's existential. How can we trust journalists who build their profession on a lie as fundamental as men can become women? How can we trust politicians who legislate based on that same fantasy? How can we trust doctors who mutilate healthy bodies because the ideology tells them to? Until the media and its allies tell the truth that trans women are men.
They can never rebuild that trust. Until they stop forcing us to deny reality, they will never enjoy credibility. And they shouldn't. Because truth matters. And when a nation is asked to abandon truth in the service of ideology, well, tragedy will follow. That's what we saw play out this week. And even when reporting on that tragedy, they still have to continue the lie. And we're done with that. You're done with that. That's why you come here for the truth, for the facts, for the things that can't be said. Trans women are men. And if your news source, no matter how big their budget, can't bring themselves to say that to you, you need to find another news source. I'm Larry O'Connor. It's the Mark Levin. Decades of conflict in the Middle East made many despair of ever finding a lasting peace. But in 2020, Israel and four Arab nations, once estranged, joined together for peace by signing the Abraham Accords. Thanks to President Trump's leadership, these historic agreements opened up previously unimaginable channels for cooperation, new pathways for peace, trade, investment, and collaboration. After five years, the Abraham Accords still stand as a beacon of hope for a future of shared growth and interfaith tolerance. Why should Americans like you care? Peace in the Middle East is vital to America's national security, and that's why the Heritage Foundation dedicated its resources to supporting the implementation and expansion of the Abraham Accords and peace through strength. And that's why the Heritage Foundation's experts released the Abraham Accords report, tracking the evolution and expansion of the Abraham Accords. This exclusive resource only available... from the Heritage Foundation presents the latest news and statistics on how the accords are boosting trade and innovation and advancing the U.S. critical interests in the Middle East. Larry O'Connor, in for the great one, Mark Levin. And, yeah, the lies that you've been told is a big part of today's show, and we're going to be exposing a lot of those lies. Also, a remarkable hearing today with the woman who had just recently been fired from the CDC. Absolutely stunning this person's performance. Susan Monares. We're going to share quite a bit of that testimony with you. And also I want to highlight freshman Congressman Brandon Gill, who was part of the hearing today with Kash Patel, the FBI director, who once again was magnificent. We've got all that coming up in a bit. And an unbelievable story out of Dearborn, Michigan, that apparently has just been overcome by the jihadists, including their mayor, who says that if you have a different opinion, you're not welcome. in that city. Listen, you can't get more Hamas than that. At least it's on brand. We're going to share all that, but I just want to touch on something real fast because I did mention in passing that there's some, you know, podcasters who are affiliated with conservative content who have been saying things about Charlie Kirk's death and some questions about the Jews and Israel and all that. I'm not going to dwell on it. much, honestly, because here's the thing. The enemies of Charlie Kirk and the conservative movement in this country would love for us to be fighting with each other. And I would rather ignore, frankly. I don't know what that is, but it's not conservative. It's not what Charlie Kirk stood for. Certainly not what Mark Levin or I stand for. I don't know what it is. It's not the business that I'm in, that's for sure. Because... This is deadly serious what we're in the midst of right now. Deadly serious. I think it should be clear to everybody who we face as political opponents now in this country. And the propaganda lies that have been spewed over the course of the last week by the usual suspects on the left have galvanized the reality. The notion that there is some sort of... symmetrical occurrence of political violence on both the right or the left or the other lie that they try to tell you, which is actually it's the conservatives who are the most politically violent, that all the violence is coming from the right. Let me just be clear here so that there's no doubt and so that you can actually take this information and use it against, I'm sure, the people on your Facebook page or in your family or at your workplace who try to repeat this lie to you. It's pretty clear. A left-wing motivated assassin tried to kill Republican congressmen while they were practicing baseball. A left-wing motivated assassin tried to put a bullet in Donald Trump's head. And a left-wing-motivated assassin just killed Charlie Kirk. There is nothing comparable.
After Hamas' October 7, 2023 terror attack on Israel, the Abraham Accords seemed doomed to fall apart. But now two years after the terrorist attack, and five years after the historic peace agreements were signed, the Abraham Accords remained resilient. However, without the support of the American people, the Accords have an uncertain future. So to keep the Abraham Accords alive for the next five years, it's critical that patriots like you support them. And that starts with understanding exactly how they came about and why they're so important. At heritage.org slash... Thank you, Heritage.org slash L-E-V-I-N. You'll find an exclusive resource only available from the Heritage Foundation. The Abraham Accords report gives you the latest news and statistics on how the accords are boosting trade and innovation and advancing the United States' vital interests in the Middle East. The Accords will only continue to bring peace to the Middle East with your support. So go to heritage.org slash Levin to claim your free resource today. Thanks for tuning in tonight. 877381-3811. If you want to follow me, by the way, and you like what you hear, I've got podcast, radio show out of Washington, D.C. I've got a streaming show books. LarryVIP.com. LarryVip.com is where you get that. LarryVip.com. All right. I want to share with you Brandon Gill. Do you know Brandon Gill? You should know Brandon Gill. Brandon Gill is a freshman congressman out of Texas. He's only been in Congress for eight months. He engineered some of the greatest questioning of the CEOs of NPR and PBS during the House Oversight Committee hearings on ending the funding for those entities. He was flawless in bringing receipts, catching them in lies. showing the world exactly who these deceitful left-wing propagandists are. And today in the oversight here, excuse me, judiciary hearing led by Chairman Jim Jordan, he had his five minutes with Director of the FBI Kash Patel. By the way, I want to point out that Brandon Gill is the youngest Republican in the House of Representatives. He is 31 years old. If that age... sort of rings a bell or sounds somewhat resonant with you as you hear it associated with an up-and-coming young conservative man it should charlie kirk was just murdered at the age of thirty-one Brandon Gill is the same age as charlie kirk Just let that resonate and marinate as you hear him now with Kash Patel. Take a listen. Thank you again for taking the time, Director Kash Patel, and Chairman Jim Jordan for holding this hearing. Thank you for depolitizing the FBI and getting it back to its original mission as well. Director Kash Patel, do you agree that we have a problem in the United States with politically motivated violence? Absolutely.
And I very much agree. I think we can all agree that political violence is wrong, it's evil, regardless of which side it comes from, and that we can all adamantly and vehemently rejected, or we certainly should. But one of the things that we've noticed recently is that affinity and tolerance for political violence is not equally distributed on both sides of the aisle. In fact, right now, social media is filled with leftists who are cheering on the murder of an iconic conservative political figure, Charlie Kirk. And it's not just random people on Twitter doing this now. There's a you gov poll released just a few days ago, which stated that 25% of those who identify as very liberal believe that political violence can sometimes be justified. That's far too many, is it not? It is. One is far too many. One is far too many. That's right. Only 3% of very conservative said the same thing. And we can agree that 3% is far too many. But there's an astounding difference. between 25% on the left, accepting and tolerating political violence, and 3% on the right. I would hope that our colleagues on the other side of the aisle would also recognize that there is a systemic problem on their side of the aisle with tolerance for violence against people with whom they politically disagree, that there is a cultural rot on their side of the aisle that needs to be addressed desperately. Would you agree with that? Yes. I just want to say, I'm going to let him finish because it's so good and so well spoken and so to the point. If you're like me, you can't wait for moments when Republicans have their time to shine in these hearings. And their microphone gets turned on and you're saying, all right, let's go get them now. Let's get it out there. Let's do your job. And you get the sad trombone moment. It's not good. Oftentimes it's because these congressmen are narcissistic. Spoiler alert. You run for office. You think pretty highly of yourself. That's okay. They know it too. They've got big egos. And they love to hear themselves talk. And you think they think they're making a point, but oftentimes they're not. And there's nobody in their staff around them and who's got the courage or the fortitude or are empowered by the big guy or the big woman to tell them, sir, ma'am, we can do better. Let us help craft this for you. Let's get this right. Oftentimes, by the way, they just end up speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking and speaking and never actually involving the witness in front of them. And oftentimes they don't actually move the ball in any legitimate way for our agenda, for our ideology. And let's face it, there are various ways to conduct yourself in these hearings when you're a member of Congress. And oftentimes each person plays a different role in an important hearing.
And sometimes all you want to do is get a lot of information out there in the form of a speech or what have you. But it tends to be a waste of time. what congressman gill is doing here is brilliant because he's laying all the facts out there but then pausing every 45 to 50 seconds and turning back to the witness saying wouldn't you agree which allows director betel then to affirm everything that's being said so there actually is a modicum of back and forth uh it's really brilliantly done And as somebody who speaks for a living, quite a few hours a day, the best of the best actually figure out how to say what they need to say with as few words as possible. And that's what you're hearing here from Congressman Gill. So he's going to continue now. And in a moment, he's going to turn his focus because he's setting up the premise here about the radical, violent, rhetoric on the left that inspires the kind of heinous acts that we just saw and every single one of the democrats on this committee and in congress and in the media have claimed for the last week that oh well i mean i don't do that i disavow any of that none of us were celebrating this But as I said, Mr. Gill, Congressman Gill, the young man from Texas, he brought receipts, and these receipts have Ilhan Omar's name all over them. Listen up. One of the more astounding aspects of this is that it's not just people. This comes from the very top, from their political leaders. Just a few days ago, a member of Congress, of this body, Ilhan Omar. shared a video on her social media account about Charlie Kirk's murder, and I'll quote what it said. It said, Charlie Kirk was Dr. Frankenstein, and his monster shot him through the neck. In other words, Charlie had it coming to him. The words that he said naturally led to his assassination, I mean, that is a reprehensible thing for a member of Congress to say, to suggest, to promote in any capacity. And there are people across this country who are losing their jobs for far less than this. And that, by the way, is a just response to acceptance and tolerance of political violence. It's amazing to me that the political left today, who were the originators and the cheerleaders of cancel culture, now have the backbone to attack conservatives for defending their assassinated friend. But there's a key difference here. Democrats want to silence conservatives for speaking obvious, self-evident ontological truths like that men aren't women and men can't get pregnant. That seems pretty basic. That seems like a basic truth that we should all be able to agree on.
Republicans, by contrast, are recognizing that a constitutional republic depends on the free and open exchange of ideas that we can debate without violence, and that assassinating a political rival is evil, it's wrong, and it should not be glorified or promoted or justified in any way, including in the way that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar did. So Mr. Kash Patel, thank you again for being here. I'd like to, with the remainder of my time, just get your opinion. Does the FBI recognize the rising threat of political violence in America? And what can you guys do to address it? Yes, we do. And what we can do to address it, Congressman, is we need to get online partnerships with these companies in the public space, on these gaming sites and on these social media sites. As I was saying earlier, there is no way to triage the amount of information generated on these sites by the FBI alone. And we need the public-private partnership. And there's another law that's expiring, I think, at the end of this month, which I believe we need renewed, that allows private sector companies to report into the FBI without liability for criminal investigatory purposes. And that's the kind of stuff we need to keep going. Yeah, that seems pretty common sense, too, especially the companies reporting things in without having to worry about their own liability in these things. But that's it, Brandon Gill, Congressman of Texas, a hell of a job there and brilliantly done and a beautiful way to go after one of the most odious creatures in Congress, Ilhan Omar. On the other side of the dais today during this hearing was one of Ilhan Omar's pals, Pramila Jayapal. who as my friend Greg Price, who used to work for the Trump campaign, posted this video and describes it as accurately, a full-on nervous breakdown at the end of her questioning as she, of course, along with most of the Democrats on the panel, just wanted to talk about Jeffrey Epstein. Isn't it amazing how suddenly they all want to talk about Jeffrey Epstein? And Kash Patel was having none of it. and toward the end of this nervous breakdown primalit giapel decided to well burn her own party down by claiming that her own colleagues were covering up their involvement with geoffrey epstein which by the way could very well be true take a listen to this trigger warning it's a member of the squad so you've been warned You can't even say. Victims credibly came forward. And you know what happened? President Trump authorized the indictments of Jeffrey Epstein, not Biden, not Obama. President Trump called the entire thing a democratic hoax. So. I would like to ask you if you will meet. I gave her the additional 45 seconds she requested the gentle lady yields back. The gentleman from New Jersey is recognized for his five minutes. If you would meet with the women who were sexually abused and raped and grooved at the ages of 14 and 16 years old. Are you going to cover up? Are you going to continue to cover up for the rich and powerful men, including those that might be on this committee?
I can yell too, Mr. Chairman, but I don't want to yell them to testify. The time belongs to the gentleman from New Jersey. Are you going to allow them to testify, Mr. Kash Patel? Go ahead. Will you allow them to testify to you? Mr. Kash Patel. Wow. Jim Jordan. The chairman of the Judiciary Committee has, I was going to say the patience of Job, but honestly at this point to make it a little bit more of a current reference, he has the patience of Jennings, Scott Jennings, who has to deal with that kind of behavior all day long on CNN. That was stunning. I will try to get to some more of Kash Patel's confrontations today with members of the House, and it's all good stuff. And after you see it, of course, you will... want to high-five the radio that you're listening to and say, yeah, that's what I voted for. That's exactly what I voted for. I'm going to play it for you a little bit later. But first, coming up in just a sec, President Trump is in England, and the state banquet hosted by Charles III and Queen Camilla has just concluded. And we have the toasts. that president trump gave to the king and the king gave to the president you know this is the first time a president has been invited to windsor castle uh the reason of course is that windsor castle is he's already had a state dinner at buckingham palace no president has ever been invited for two state banquets by the royal family. President Trump is the first. Of course, the Buckingham Palace during his first term was the, he was the guest of Queen Elizabeth. The second, may she rest in peace, and now he is the guest of Charles III. You're going to hear both of those toasts and the pomp and circumstance, and what happened at Windsor Castle coming up in just a moment. I'm Larry O'Connor. It's the Mark Levin. Mark Levin.

It's Larry O'Connor sitting in for Mark Levin, and we've got a breaking story here that I'm going to dive into coming up in the next hour in detail. But as of five minutes ago, ABC Entertainment, owned by the Disney Corporation, has yanked Jimmy Kimmel off the air. Indefinitely, the statement says, because of his recent remarks. about the charlie kirk murder i'm going to remind you what he said and then tell you exactly how this whole thing transpired this literally is breaking over the course of the last thirty minutes so we'll give you all those details coming up in just a moment don't go anywhere uh but first as promised here is president trump at windsor castle as he stood to deliver his toast. And by the way, the protocol on these things are so rehearsed and planned and scripted. And each of these two gentlemen, the president and the king, they have their toasts written out and scripted. And President Trump is reading from his script, mostly because you know what happens with our president. Here he is. Your Majesty, Melani and I are deeply grateful to you and Queen Camilla. for your extraordinary graciousness. And to William and Kate, thank you so much. It's been so great being with you today. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. It's a singular privilege to be the first American president welcomed here. And if you think about it, it's a lot of presidents. And this was the second state visit. And that's the first. Maybe that's going to be the last time. I hope it is, actually. But this is truly one of the highest honors of my life. Such respect for you and such respect for your country. For many decades, his majesty, the king has epitomized the fortitude, nobility, and the spirit of the British monarchy and the British people. He's dedicated himself to preserving the glory and unique character of this kingdom. He's storing life to the rivers and streams, supporting the works of its artists and composers, planting trees and gardens in its countryside. And I just visited one of the most beautiful I've ever seen that you just completed and protecting the architectural integrity of cities, villages and towns. He has uplifted the poor, cared for rural farms, and tended to wounded veterans like nobody else. I'll tell you that I just stood in line and shook about 150 hands. And the king knew every single person and every single company. And some of them... had bad names like XYZ-Q-3. And he knew every one of them, or at least I think he did, because nobody was complaining. I was very impressed with that. Nobody ever complains when you're the king anyway. But that's some great stuff. And again, off-script, as President Trump is often going to do. For his...
For his toast, the king, so hard to say the king, he delivered warm words to the American people. As we celebrate this unparalleled partnership, allow me to propose a toast to President Trump and the First Lady and to the health, prosperity, and happiness of the people of the United States of America. And as everybody grabbed their champagne flutes, the... Little orchestra they've got there, chamber music, they started playing the national anthem. It was really amazing. Now, broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker, somewhere under the brick and steel of a non-discreet building, we've once again made contact with our leader, Mark Levin. Larry O'Connor is sitting in for the great one, Mark Levin, and yes... We want your calls at 877381-3811. Love to hear from you at 877-381-3811. Mark is out. He's in Israel. He'll be back. I'm filling in. I do the morning show on WMAL in our nation's capital every morning. I've also got a streaming show through town hall media every day. At noon, you can get all your information about me at larryvip.com. LarryVIP.com. This is a big story, and it just broke within the last 20 minutes. Jimmy Kimmel has been indefinitely pulled off the air by ABC, announced by parent company Disney. Let me... start at the beginning here so that you can get caught up because you might not have been, you know, paying attention to Jimmy Kimmel, understandable. He's probably not somebody who's on your radar, or let me just say, of all of the late night talk show hosts, you know, Stephen Colbert, whose show has not been canceled, Jimmy Fallon, who is a bit of an outlier because he's actually had Greg Gutfeld. He's deigned to allow Greg Gutfeld to be on his show. on the Tonight Show. And then you've got Jimmy Kimmel on ABC. You've also got some other late night shows like Seth Myers and the Daily Show and Saturday Night Live. They don't count. It's the Tonight Show. And then the former David Letterman show that Stephen Colbert ruined. Literally, he ruined it. It's not just, he's not getting replaced. The whole show is being canceled. And then you've got the third one on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel, by the way, is an odious individual. He just is. Now, all due respect, he's worked hard his whole life. He started out as a producer on a radio station in LA for a morning show, a very popular morning show on K-Rock, which was a radio station I would listen to when I lived in Los Angeles.
He worked hard, started out as a producer, put in the hours, put in the effort, got his own radio show, met a funny guy, Adam Carolla. They started to team up together. He got a show on Comedy Central, got a couple shows on Comedy Central, parlayed that into a late-night talk show on ABC. Along the way, he, you know, left his wife that had stuck through him through all those lean years because he was, you know, well, you're typical. Hollywood success story, so of course you leave your wife and you get a new one. He turned his back on a lot of friends that he had worked with. He became your typical Hollywood arrogant, big-headed jerk. And, by the way, turned into a brain-dead liberal. In many respects, when you become a brain-dead liberal and just parrot, the same left-wing talking points that the industry demand of you. That's how you succeed. So I guess the two go hand in hand. But he, unlike his counterparts, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon, he led with rage. He was compared to the other two way more mean-spirited, way more personal. And oh, by the way, like most of these people who wear their politics on their sleeve, come out with guns ablazing, full-throated personal attacks, not just on Republican elected officials, but on you, the Republican voter. He still gets rewarded by his network, by his corporation with renewal after renewal after renewal, even though ratings continue to decline and decline and decline. Not only that, he's rewarded with great honorary gifts and opportunities like hosting the Oscars. Hosting the Oscars. Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Oscars, you know, something that a Billy Crystal or a Bob Hope would have done in years past. So the entire Hollywood royalty, the entire establishment rewards him because of his odious, angry, vitriolic, mean-spirited attacks on you. You think about it. And again, nothing wrong with anybody being political. Can you imagine Mark Levin hosting the Oscars? Actually, I would love that. It would be hilarious. But can you imagine anybody in public life who is a broadcaster and communicator who is unabashedly conservative? and pro-Republican and critical of Democrats, then being elevated to the level, well, yeah, we know his politics, we know he's conservative, we know he's on the right, but we're going to have him host the Emmys. We're going to have him host the Oscars. You know, the last time anybody ever came close to that, I would say was when Rush Limbaugh was included on ESPN sports coverage, and we know how that ended.
When Dennis Miller got to be a co-host for a couple of seasons of Monday Night Football, he wasn't really out of the closet as a full-throated conservative. And by the way, you'd be shocked how many full-throated conservatives are in the closet who do the play-by-play for your favorite NFL games every Sunday and Monday nights. And Thursday nights, by the way. But I don't want to give away the store by saying too much out loud. But they know better. See, they don't reveal that they're conservative because then they would lose the gig. Jimmy Kimmel, he gets the gig. He gets elevated. He gets promoted until about 45 minutes ago. ABC News is yanking indefinitely the Jimmy Kimmel show from the entire network. Now, here's how this latest round of hatred from Jimmy Kimmel manifest on Monday. He started his show, as usual, with a monologue. And it's always about politics, by the way. It's like there's nothing else funny in the world to these people. But it's because they're obsessed with politics. They are. And so he started and he decided that it was time to make some jokes about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Of course, at Republicans' expense and at Donald Trump's expense. So right there on the outset, somebody, a producer, some writers, some executives should have, you know, maybe had a cooler head and said, I know the point you're trying to make. I know you think it's funny. Hey, Jimmy, I think it's funny. But you know what? Maybe we shouldn't joke. Maybe we shouldn't have a joke all premised on the murder of Charlie Kirk. But that person either didn't exist in the writer's room or in the production chain of command for the Jimmy Kimmel show or Jimmy Kimmel just went and did it anyway. The joke began with a slanderous lie. He had some new lows over the weekend with the Maga Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them. That's the setup for the joke. The MAGA gang is doing whatever they can to try to portray the kid who killed kid. I do love it when they call him a kid. The kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything but one of them. In other words, on Monday night, after all the information and all of the news that we had about this murderer and what was engraved on the bullets and how he had been influenced and what the family had said. after all of that he still went on a b c on the network syndicated to hundreds of television stations around the country and said that the maga crowd was doing whatever it could to try to paint this murderer as anything but one of them the inference of course is that the murderer was one of us, that the murderer was Maga, which he was not. It's just a lie. It's a damnable lie. But people in the little bubble, the echo chamber that Jimmy Kimmel lives in, they actually believed that. But then it was time to have some laughs about the murder.
Kirk is anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. In between the finger pointing, there was grieving. On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half staff, which got some criticism. But on a human level, you can see how hard the president is taking this. I condolences on the law to your friend, Charlie Kirk. May I ask, sir, personally, how are you holding up over the last day and a half, sir? I think very good. And by the way, right there, you see all the trucks? They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they've been trying to get, as you know, for about 150 years, and it's going to be a beauty. Yes. He's at the fourth stage of grief. Construction. Demolition. Construction. This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish, okay? Here you go. There you go. Got to get your yucks in. And of course, again, politics is a big boy game, and we all say things about our political leaders and elected officials. And I want to live in a country where you can laugh at the king, where you can tell jokes about the president. But understand something. The foundational premise of the humor, the tipping point for the joke was the murder of Charlie Kirk. A lie about the assassin. And then an attempt to make fun of how the president has decided to deal with the grief with. By the way, if President Trump has asked about how he's holding up in grieving for Charlie Kirk, that's a no-win situation. There's nothing that he can say that won't be mocked. And by the way, he doesn't have to share his grief. He's not an I-feel-your-pain kind of president. If he wants to deflect the question and change the subject, extend him a little grace on that. But of course, when you're Jimmy Kimmel, you don't do that. Now, that was Monday night. And, of course, the response and outrage, rightfully so from viewers and people who, of course, don't watch the show, but saw the clip on social media afterwards like me, was palpable and loud and vociferous. And apparently, well, the amount of mail and email and calls that ABC must have gotten over this was overwhelming, right? But here's the thing. Didn't change anything. Last night, he was on the air again. And it's funny because when he taped his program on the West Coast, I think around 5 p.m., they tape it there in Hollywood, right across from the famous Chinese theater with all the handprints and footprints. That's where they do the Jimmy Kimmel show. By the time he taped his show, the press conference had already taken place in Salt Lake City where all of the details about this murder were revealed, the text messages between these two gay men, one of them the murderer, the other one apparently helping the investigation, but I'm still curious about... his involvement, the details about what was on the bullets, the conclusion from the district attorney in Salt Lake City and the investigators that he had been radicalized by left-wing politics. And in his own words, in his text messages, he said he killed Charlie Kirk because he wanted to stop Charlie Kirk's hate, I'm paraphrasing, but it was because of his motivation. So we knew by the time Jimmy Kimmel taped his show yesterday,
that this murderer was motivated by left-wing violence. It would have been a great opportunity for Jimmy Kimmel to say, listen, yesterday I told a joke, and in setting it up, I made the false assertion that this murderer was part of the maggot crowd, and of course, now we know definitively that he was not. Jimmy Kimmel could have done that. He chose not to. He did nothing. And so... Another day went by, and there was more outrage and more complaints, and they started to steamroll, in fact, leading right up into an announcement about an hour ago from a company called Next Star. Now, Nextar owns a good chunk of ABC affiliate stations. Let me explain how this works. If you watch ABC in your local city wherever you are right now, oftentimes it's Channel 7, but it might be Channel 13. It might be, who knows. That channel is a wholly owned private company in many respects. right there in the city that you live in. And they have a syndication agreement with either ABC, CBS, NBC, or Fox, generally speaking. And those contracts can be renewed, by the way. In fact, sometimes, depending on the city you're living in, you know, 15 years ago, Channel 7 may have been NBC, and now Channel 7 is ABC. That happens sometimes. Not always, but sometimes it happens. But they have agreements with those networks. Sometimes they play everything that the network offers them, but they don't have to. Sometimes they say, yeah, you know what? We're not going to play. We're not going to air their syndicated network late nights, 1130 Jimmy Kimmel show. We'll do our own local show at that time. Usually they don't because it costs more money and they can get a lot of advertising from the network show, right? Well, Next Star is a company that owns a whole bunch of stations that carry ABC network coverage, and they announced about an hour and a half ago that they would no longer carry the Jimmy Kimmel show. And they said the reason is because of the Charlie Kirk comments. And within 30 minutes of that announcement, Disney pulled the show altogether. Right before they were going to be taping, it appears, based on... the clock I'm looking at. This is huge. And I want to hear from you about at 877-381-3811 and about whether you think the tide is finally turning here and we're taking back not just our country, not just our politics, not just our party, not just our economy, not just our border, but we're finally taking back our culture. What do you think? 877-381-3811. I'm Larry O'Connor. It's the Mark Levin Show. Mark Levin. When was the last time you bragged about your wireless company? Like, did you know my wireless company gave away a thousand American flags to deserving vets and forgave $10 million in veteran debt? Did you know my wireless company raised almost half a million dollars to help prevent veteran suicide?
In other words, when your wireless company is Pure Talk, there's a whole lot to brag about. You can even brag about the coverage you get with Pure Talk, a 5G network that is insanely fast, dependable, and secure. And you can definitely brag about how much money you save with Pure Talk. Unlimited talk text, plenty of data. Just 25 bucks a month, saving the average family over $1,000 a year. It's time to switch to my favorite wireless company, Pure Talk. Go to puretalk.com slash Levine and save an additional 50% of your first month. Again, PureTalk.com slash L-E-V-I-N, make the switch today. Pure Talk, wireless worth bragging about. Oh, this is a beautiful thing. Charlie Kirk in 2017 tweeted out, Jimmy Kimmel is not funny. And by the way, the fact that that tweet is now going viral eight years later is funnier than anything else Jimmy Kimball has said in the last decade or so. Chris Hayes of MSNBC. This is the most straightforward attack on free speech from state actors I've ever seen in my life. And it's not even close. I'm sorry, Disney is a state actor? ABC or David is a state actor? Next star syndication is a state actor. Aw. Poor Chris Hayes. This is the narrative that they're going to go with. By the way, don't forget that the Biden White House... pressured social media networks to ban anybody from their platforms who questioned the COVID vaccine mandates or whether the six feet distancing and masks were effective. And Mr. Hayes cheered it on. Oh, this is fantastic. And I wonder what's next because I don't think this. You know what they call a year like this, 2025, where both the Stephen Colbert show is canceled and Jimmy Kimmel is pulled off the air? Do you know what they call that in the business, in my business, from my perspective? Do you know what they call that? They call that a good start. That's what they call it. That's what I call it. Who should be next? Listen, I'm not in favor of cancel culture in any way whatsoever. But these people, well... When was the last time you bragged about your wireless company? Like, did you know my wireless company gave away a thousand American flags to deserving vets? And forgave $10 million in veteran debt? Did you know my wireless company raised almost half a million dollars to help prevent veteran suicide? In other words, when your wireless company is Pure Talk, there's a whole lot to brag about. The only show with a warning label, The Liberals, the Mark Levin show. Call him now at 877381-381-3811. Larry O'Connor, in for the great one. Mark Levin. Thanks for tuning in here. 877-381-381. Jimmy Kimmel has now been pulled off the air as we just reported to you over the last half hour. Some more developments here, by the way, on this story, I see now that about 40 minutes ago, before ABC's official announcement, Sinclair, another, I told you about Next Star, this is a company that owns a lot of television stations around the country, many of them that syndicate programming from the ABC network. Sinclair, quite possibly, I think, the largest independent. company owning stations. They have ABC stations in 30 markets in this country. They announced 44 minutes ago due to problematic comments regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk and programming provided to broadcast stations by ABC, Sinclair and its partners, which operate ABC stations in 30 markets, will stop airing Jimmy Kimmel's show until further notice. Two major syndicators announcing that they'll stop airing the show. Let me be clear. As Disney, the parent company of ABC has now announced that they're polling Jimmy Kimmel indefinitely. This isn't because they were embarrassed by what Jimmy Kimmel said. It's not because Jimmy Kimmel's statement did not rise to their standards, if they have any. It's not because they disagree with what Jimmy Kimmel said. No, the only reason this happened is money. It's unsustainable if you're trying to sell advertising for a show that is no longer airing in major markets across the country. And Next Star and Sinclair saying we're not going to air the show meant there's no income. There's no revenue. No one gets paid. What business are we in here? We're not just going to keep producing the show so it can it be on, you know, whatever stations are still airing it. But none of the national advertisers that keep the lights on are getting their ads run in big city markets. And ain't going to happen. And for everybody who is screaming about the First Amendment or freedom of speech and saying the conservatives, Constitution-loving... freedom-loving conservatives like you and me that we shouldn't be excited or happy about this because this is a chill wind that is blowing on free expression and political criticism that Jimmy Kimmel represented. You may not like what Jimmy Kimmel said, but you should fight for his right to say it. Of course, he has the right to say it. But that doesn't mean he has a right to be employed by a corporation that answers to the public. Let me just be clear here. I'm a talk radio host.
I work in conservative talk radio. We have had to look over our shoulders every minute of the broadcast day for decades. You want to complain now and wring your hands about the chill wind that... that threatens free speech, free expression, and political dissent in this country? Seriously, you want to say that to us? Talk radio hosts? After all the advertiser boycotts that we've had to endure over the decades, led by well-funded, well-organized, left-wing groups set up like... Media Matters, John Pedesta's Brainchild, funded by George Soros, and you want to yell at me that I shouldn't celebrate Jimmy Kimmel being yanked off the air because it was economically unsustainable because people found his remarks odious? Let me tell you something. We have to watch every syllable of every word we utter live on the air in real time. And most talk shows are three hours long. My talk show every morning is four hours long. And it's not edited. It's not screened. Nobody looks at it after the fact and decides, well, yeah, all right, maybe we'll leave that in, maybe we shouldn't have this. And that's how these late shows are done. They tape in the middle of the afternoon and then they run it six hours later. And they have had the cushy little privilege of never having to worry about any repercussions over what they say.
No matter how mean-spirited and ugly and wrong and odious and reprehensible and controversial, no matter, there's never any repercussions. In fact, they're celebrated. They give each other awards. They get promoted. They get re-signed. $20 million a year, Stephen Colbert was making. Kimmel's close to that. And they're all protected by their industry. Just try that in talk radio. Just go ahead and try it. So no, no, I'm not wringing my hands. I'm not weeping for Jimmy Kimmel and I don't fear a chill wind. Oh, but what about when Democrats in power? They might try this against you. What do you think we've been living through? They have. They've been doing it. Basically, since the second year, Rush Limbaugh was on the air. They've been doing it. Do people forget Bill Clinton blaming Rush Limbaugh for the Oklahoma City bombing? Do people forget the media and Barack Obama blaming Glenn Beck for the Gabby Gifford shooting? Do people forget these things? I don't. My industry doesn't. Every one of my colleagues on the air, we don't forget. They claimed that we were leading the charge in inspiring January 6th. Because we're election deniers. They said that we were getting people killed during the pandemic. How do you not remember this? It wasn't that long ago. What if a Democrats had power and they try to censor us? Oh, please. It's been an everyday fight for our industry. So yeah, you know what? This will make them all better. I promise you. They will be better. They may even hire some people in their writers' room who represent you. May offer some... Do you ever wonder about that? It's like, how do these things get written? How do these sketches get put on Saturday Night Live? How do these storylines get created in these sitcoms and these Law and Order episodes where the bad guys, the villain, the butt of every joke is always the Christian conservative? I can only think of one, one sitcom. in the last multiple decades that focused on a central character who was shown in a good light who represented my politics and my values and that was Roseanne because she created the show and they fired her her from her own show by the way when I say they it was ABC Disney oh This will make them better. They will hire better writers. They will recognize if they want to exist. That's only if they want to exist. They might not want to exist. They might prefer to just burn it all down. All right. That's it. No more late night talk shows. Which would be hilarious. The last one standing will be Greg Gutfeld. But if they do want to get better, they will change what they do. And they will hire writers that have a different perspective and a different point of view. They exist. They're out there.
Oh, why aren't there any conservatives in entertainment? Oh, there are. They just never get work. They will book different guests. They will hire different hosts if they care, if they want to make money, if they want to succeed. I'm not so sure they do. My buddy Andrew Claven, who has a great podcast, by the way, and is a very good man. He's written screenplays. Oscar-nominated screenplays, if I remember, right? And novels, books. He's lived in Hollywood. He worked in Hollywood. And he maintains that the biggest lie about the entertainment business is, well, you know, they don't really care about politics. They just care about money. Andrew Cleveland will say, no, that's actually a lie. If they cared about money, they would make very different choices. No, they really do. They're zealots. They're zealots. And when you look at the way they have allowed late night talk shows, comedy shows, to go the way that they have gone, you can only reach that conclusion. Why else would they open up a lane for competition like Greg Gutfeld to be able to dominate the way that it does? Nobody does that in business, right? You don't... completely seed market share and a giant audience to a competitor just because you don't want those people in your audience? Who does that? Who does that? But maybe this will change things. Or maybe it'll take more. Who's next? 877-381-3811 as we react to this breaking news. that Jimmy Kimmel has been so-called indefinitely pulled off of the air. By the way, I have some advice for Jimmy Kimmel. I'll give it to you in just a moment, but let's hear from you. How about Tom in Gainesville, Florida? Hello, Tom. Thanks for calling it. I'm Larry O'Connor. They're a great show, Larry. Yeah, I think it's outstanding that Kimmel got pulled, and I say that because it may be First Amendment, but Charlie Chris or Kurt was doing the same thing, First Amendment, and look what it cost him. And the pendulum is finally swinging to the right. I mean, we're, for like you've been saying, we've been having to eat crow and keep our mouth shut for years, and I hate to say it. But this is a new beginning for us. I think you're right. You shouldn't hate to say it. I think this is a turning point, if I may coin Charlie Kirk's organization's name. This is absolutely a turning point. And you make a really good point here, Tom. Thank you in Gainesville. I appreciate the call. You inspired. The best thing about callers and talk radio is it inspires the host with another thought. You know, as Chris Hayes from MSNBC, I think I just quoted his post on the X platform and other people start saying that, oh, this is bad. Oh, my gosh, this is a threat to the First Amendment. This is the biggest threat to the First Amendment and free speech and political criticism that I have seen in my lifetime. Think about it for a minute. Jimmy Kimmel being pulled off the air by Disney after two major syndication companies decide that they're not going to run his show.
because he lied and stated flat out falsely that the murderer of Charlie Kirk was MAGA when he wasn't, and then made a joke about it so that he can make fun of Donald Trump at his expense, all platformed on the foundation of the joke being Charlie Kirk's assassination. Jimmy Kimmel being pulled off the air for that is the biggest threat to free speech in the First Amendment that these people have seen. And yet... they didn't say that a week ago when a young man sitting with an open microphone on a college campus with a giant sign saying prove me wrong allowed anyone to come up and speak on the other open microphone and challenge him and debate him on ideas and then he was murdered in cold blood in front of the cameras and the world to send a message That his speech was worthy of assassination. That they don't see as a threat to the First Amendment. That they don't see as a chilling, chilling effect on free speech. That they never. Jimmy Kimmel losing his comedy show on ABC that was losing money and lost all their syndication. Jimmy Kimball getting polled, that terrifies them about free speech. Charlie Kirk getting assassinated. That, that's tragic. That's awful. We condemn the violence. These people are awful. They're awful. They're the worst. But they also help us make our points every day so easily. All right. More of your calls. 877-381-3811. Jimmy Kimmel is history now. And I've got advice for Jimmy Kimmel. If he wants it, I will give it to him because he could save himself here. He could save himself his career and his show if he wanted to. And I will give him that advice coming up next. It's Larry O'Connor. In for Mark Levin. Mark Levin. Larry O'Connor in for Mark Levin and we're reacting to the news now that Jimmy Kimmel has been taken off the air. And the reaction from the left and from the cable stations and the mainstream, it's exactly what you'd expect. Oh, this is fascist Trump. This is fascist Trump violating our free speech in our First Amendment. And by the way, none of them are actually in retrospect saying, yeah, maybe Jimmy Kimmel shouldn't have said that. You know, you know, yeah, I can, I can see the point that white people were mad. I, I said, no, nobody's actually saying anything about what he said. It's just, it's Trump's a fascist. And by the way, calling Trump a fascist, that's how people get murdered in this country. You dehumanize us. That's fine. I, uh, we'll continue with your calls on a sec, 87, 7, 7, 381, 3,811. I said I had advice. for Jimmy Kimmel, if he wants it. And based on everything that I know about Jimmy Kimmel, he is such a narcissistic, egomaniac, arrogant fool that he doesn't want my advice, certainly. Because he doesn't want it. He's going to play the martyr. He will play the martyr. It worked for Stephen Colbert. It will work for him. He will be the martyr. He will not try to improve. He will blame the corporations. He will blame Trump. He will never look in the mirror and say, gee, maybe I can be better. But if he does want to be better, if he does want to fix this, he has an opportunity to do that. Here's my advice. I mentioned this when I was describing where Jimmy Kimmel came from. He started doing radio, producing radio programs on K Rock in Los Angeles. And this funny guy that he met at the gym. would come on and do funny voices and characters and sort of started doing bits with him. His name was Adam Carolla. And the two of them teamed up. You remember the Man Show on Comedy Central. It was funny. Well, half of it was funny. The Adam Carolla half. Adam Carolla has gone his path with his career. Jimmy Kimmel has certainly gone his path with his career. Adam Carolla, by the way, is a conservative. Adam Carolla on his podcast gave a very heartfelt tribute to Charlie Kirk two episodes ago, I think it was. Adam Carolla gets it. He understands. And if Jimmy Kimmel really wants to improve, if he wants to fix this problem, if he wants to salvage his show and maybe his career, he should pick up the phone and call his friend, I believe they are still friends, they set their politics aside, and they figure out how to be friends. And I get that, and that's good. Good for them. He should pick up the phone immediately and call his friend Adam Carolla and say, yeah, buddy, I messed up. What should I do? How can I fix this? And I think Adam Carolla could help him. I think Adam Carolla could actually help him fix this. But he's not going to do that, is he? No, he's not. But he could. And by the way, ABC, you have a chance. You have an opportunity now, too. You could actually do something stunning. You could actually hire people that you politically disagree with, but are talented, and can actually make people laugh and bring us back to entertainment again.
and say, we're going to do a talk show here. It's going to be funny. It's going to be entertaining. We're going to end the day with some laughs and some lighthearted conversation. We're going to start a brand new model of the talk show. And we're going to keep politics out. I'm Larry O'Connor in for the great one. Mark Levin. Mark is in Israel. He'll be back. In the meantime, by his book. Mark Levin, on power. Best-selling book. It's great. I've read it twice now. I just read it on vacation two weeks ago when I was on the great MRC cruise with Media Research Center and Dana Lash and Kevin and Sam Sorbo and Joe Concha. And anyway, I read that book while I was on the cruise for the second time. You need to get Mark Levin on power. We're seeing it play out right now before our very eyes. It's great. And you should buy it for the children in your life who are going to college. Your kids, your grandkids, your God kids, your nieces, your nephews across the board. We are reacting to this news that ABC has pulled Jimmy Kimmel off the air, and it's kind of a big deal. And, of course, the typical reactions from the left that you would expect. They're lying. They're lying in saying that this is a First Amendment infringement. They're lying and saying that this in some way is Trump flexing his fascist muscles and trying to eliminate anybody that they disagree with. Here's Van Jay Jones, CNN. That is why we exist, not to knuckle under, not to do what we're told, but to stand up and to say, listen, if you want to pull these licenses, then we're going to go to court and we'll be in the court of public opinion. But you don't get to go on a podcast and set policy for American media, for an American media institution that's been around a lot longer than me and you or Donald Trump.
This is a red line that has been crossed for our industry, for the First Amendment, for the right of people to speak. There was nothing hateful about what was said. All right. By the way, the reference to going on a podcast, Brendan Carr, the chairman of the FCC, was on... a podcast, Penny Johnson, I think it was, interviewed about this and he was asked about it. And the content that he was asked about it. And he said, yeah, you know, for some of the local stations that have FCC licenses, they need to fix this problem because, well, a damnable lie was told on this show. If you missed it, here it is. We hit some new lows over the weekend with the Maga Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. In between the finger pointing, there was grieving on Friday. Okay, so then he goes on to tell a joke about Donald Trump, again, at the expense of or with the foundation of the joke being... the appropriate way to agree for Charlie Kirk's murder. So again, you know, hey, hey, young 31 year old father of two was murdered in cold blood in the most gruesome graphic way in front of thousands of people at the college campus, including children, and of course millions have seen it and been traumatized. So now here's my joke about it. But of course the premise of the joke here or the setup is just a damnable lie. It's just misinformation, disinformation. We had some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them. There you go. Trying to characterize him as anything but one of them, as if he was one of us, which of course he wasn't. He wasn't a MAGA. murderer. He was actually more in line with Jimmy Kimmel's radical left-wing politics. And Jimmy Kimmel had a chance yesterday to apologize he didn't. And so now two syndication companies, or two companies that own local stations that syndicate the ABC Network announced that they would no longer be running the Jimmy Kimmel show. Both Nextstar and Sinclair announced that. And that's the end of the game. If your show isn't cleared on these major stations in these major cities, then the advertisers aren't getting their money's worth from the national advertising, so they pull out, and suddenly your show isn't making any money, because that's how it makes money from advertising. And now everyone's asking, like, Jimmy Kimmel is untouchable. They're acting like this is a First Amendment issue, which it's not. They're upset that Brendan Carr, the FCC chairman, actually said, well, yeah, you can't lie like that if you have a public broadcast license. There are laws, especially lie about something that is so critical and vital in the news, which is exactly what he did. But to go back to Van Jay Jones and the...
Histrionics. It's a red line that's been crossed for our industry, for the First Amendment, for the right of people to speak. Can I just remind everyone this is supposed to be a comedy show? I mean, we must protect Jimmy Kimmel at all caused. It's the right of a free people to be able to speak. Jimmy Kimmel can tell all the jokes that he wants, just like the rest of us. Go stand on the corner and tell them. I mean, the First Amendment doesn't guarantee you a right to a broadcast license. You nimble-brained left-wing ideologues. I honestly, they're not dumb, but to maintain left-wing ideas, you have to sound dumb because the ideas don't make sense. And so now here's one of the FCC commissioners, Anna Gomez. So she comes on CNN because, you know, the FCC, there's five commissioners and presidents get to nominate them. So you get a mix of Republican and Democrat. And depending on the cycle, who gets to be chairman based on who's the president and all that. So now we have a conservative Republican appointed commissioner. That's Brendan Carr. But there are other. FCC commissioners, including Anna Gomez, who was nominated by Joe Biden. She doesn't like it. So now you just heard the clip of what Jimmy Kimmel said. You just heard Jimmy Kimmel say. I'll play it one more time for you. He had some new lows over the weekend with the Maga Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them. Now, you just heard it, that that's just a lie, a damnable lie, it's absolutely egregious. It is a lie. It's not true, and he knew it wasn't true when he said it, and he certainly knew it wasn't true yesterday when he went on the air and didn't correct the lie. But it's just a lie. Now, here's FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez. FCC together, you work with him. He went out and said this. So I think we really need to make very clear that the First Amendment does not allow us the FCC to tell broadcasters what they can broadcast. Personally, I'd rather not speak ill of the dead, but I understand Jimmy Kimmel is a satirist and a comedian. I saw the clip. He did not make any unfounded claims, but he did make a joke, one that others may even find crude. He didn't make any unfounded claims. Okay, so does she think that the murderer was Maga? Do you see what I mean? Why, I refuse to believe that these people are ignorant or stupid or in some way brain damaged. I'm sure that they're very smart. But it is impossible to sound smart when you have to tow the line of left-wing ideology. So she's a liberal Democrat appointed by Biden to the FCC, and she must protect Jimmy Kimmel. She must defend Jimmy Kimmel. She must condemn him being removed from the air. So that means she has to say things that just sound moronic.
He didn't make any unfounded claims. When I just pled you what he said. Pretty unfounded. That first part, as commissioners of the FCC, we can't tell broadcasters what they can and can't say on the air. Actually, I assure you, as a broadcaster speaking to you at this very moment on an FCC license station, they let us know. Pretty definitively what we can't say. There are many, well, just look at the George Carlin stand-up routine about the seven words. I promise you that the FCC has told me that there are certain things that I cannot say. And by the way, I'm fine with that. Standards are good. I'm okay with standards. And one of the standards is you can't just knowingly blatantly outright lie. Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody gets things wrong. You correct them. Jimmy Kimmel lied. He knew better. And the next day when he had a chance to correct it, he chose not to. And now he's off the air. It's as simple as that. It really is actually as simple as that.
for an FCC commissioner Anna Gomez to clearly demonstrate to the world that she doesn't actually know what her job is or what the FCC does is kind of amusing. All right, let's get to Xavier, who is in Tyson's corner of Virginia. That's WMAL country. Hey, Xavier, thanks for calling him. Hey, Larry. Great to talk to you. Great double-shift you're pulling these days. Also good to see you and Julie and Patricia at the free speech forum a couple of months ago. Anyway, I've mentioned to your producer there, something. But, you know, for months I've been praying, let these people or make these people reveal themselves for who they truly are, so they know what's in their hearts. But you mentioned Jimmy Kill and the talent he had and how he could possibly recover. I don't know. that it is possible. I mean, he had the talent and he had a good following, but now that he's revealed himself, how does he change that? He's like a modern-day Esau who traded something valuable for something cheap. Oh, I do like a good Genesis reference. Well done there. Yeah, I guess you're right. I guess he did. He really wanted those that porridge. He really wanted those red beans and lentils. And he did trade away his integrity and whatever was left of it, I suppose. I mean, I don't know. I guess it depends on how desperate he is for his paycheck and for his fame. I wonder if he has some level of conscience left where he can actually recognize, yeah, I screwed up. I mean, that is what it would take. And I think that he could repair this. But he has to unequivocally apologize, acknowledge exactly what. And when I say unequivocally, I mean, without any hems or haws or butts or weasel words like, I'm sorry if you took this the wrong way, which is not an apology. I screwed up. I didn't, I shouldn't have said it. I've learned my lesson, and I promised to fix it. I promise to be better. But I don't think he can do it. Xavier, I really can't. Would you accept his apology if he gave it? It would be difficult because there would always be that doubt in the back of my mind. It's like, I mean, there's, anybody has the possibility of redemption, but it has to be from the right, through the right, the right means, by the right means. If you just come on and say, well, I didn't really mean that, there's always going to be that doubt. And even with redemption, it took, what, Paul, 14 years to get the trust of the apostles. And now you're bouncing to the New Testament. Look at you, go, Xavier. Thank you for that, especially with a name like Xavier. You've got to bring the scripture. Thank you, brother. I appreciate the call and great observations. How about Emmett in, is that Pittsburgh, Kansas? I didn't know there was a Pittsburgh, Kansas. Oh, yes, we're here. All right. Are you Steelers fans? No, we're Kansas City Chiefs fans here. We're about 130 miles south. No, I was telling you a producer, I noticed today this Inside Edition show, which is on ABC stationed here in Pittsburgh, it was off the air today, and they had an infomercial on there, and I'm retired. I sit home watch TV, and it comes on right before Jeopardy. But I had it on, and I noticed it wasn't on.
Now, they've been dancing around the Charlie Kirk thing a little bit. They're kind of like a tabloid. You know, they have the lost puppies and the dance videos and, you know, like pop culture stuff. Yeah. They touch on it a little bit, but for some reason it was off today. And when you mentioned Jimmy Kimmel, I'm thinking, because, you know, it is an ABC News show, The Inside Edition. Well, it's not. It might be on your local ABC affiliate there, but Inside Edition is a syndicated program. It's not owned. In fact, ironically, it's produced and distributed by CBS. CBS Ventures, I think, is the syndication arm that does it, Emmett. But it's a fair observation. Something might be going on with Inside Edition. It's just not linked to ABC. Thank you for the call there. But that's a good example, by the way, of what I mean, where you could have a station in your... town that is the ABC station, but some of the syndicated program comes from other pathways. And I'll tell you, though, there is a Disney-owned ABC news show that I think is ripe for the axing that should be next, could be next. I would like it to be next. It's a little thing they put on the air every morning called The View. I don't know how it continues to survive, nor do I think it should. certainly not in its current format. They could fix that show too if they actually cared about differing opinions and having multiple views on the news, but they don't care about that. They're propagandists, just like Jimmy Kimmel. And I would be surprised if by the end of the year, Whoopi and Joy and Sunny and the whole team there were hanging out with Jimmy and Stephen Colbert. It's Larry O'Connor in for Mark Levin. Mark Levin.

Let's go to Mike and Ashkash. That's how it's pronounced there in Wisconsin. Ashkosh. We're dancing on the grave of Jimmy Kimmel's career. What do you say, Mike? Thanks for taking my call. I was just saying back in the day, M.O. N. 5.9. And, uh, yeah, they were funny. Corolla? He went political and he stuck. My question is, how about John Cornyn? Is he still out there? Yeah. You mean Adam Carolla? No, no, no, no, Conan O'Brien. Oh, Conan O'Brien. Yeah, Conan O'Brien's still out there. He's doing a podcast. I don't know if he wants to do the job of a nightly show again, but I like Conan. He would be good. I would like anybody who just came back and did a Johnny Carson style show, Mike, and didn't talk politics, morning, noon, and night. Dude, Johnny Carson was a genius because he didn't do the politics. Because he didn't do the politics. That's right. The real secret, and Mike, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Yeah, everyone's, oh, we need a conservative, you know, Gutfeld, so that we can do a conservative version. No, I like Gutfeld. Don't get me wrong. What I dream of? is a late night comedy show talk show that isn't about politics right or left we want to check out at night we want to break we want an escape no politics that would be perfect donald trump who by the way isn't it like two in the morning in london after his state dinner with the king he has taken to true social to comment of course he has great news for america The ratings challenge Jimmy Kimmel's show is canceled. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has zero talent and worse ratings than Kobe, if that's possible. That leads Jimmy and Seth, two total losers on fake news NBC. The ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC. President DJT. Ha ha ha ha. What a time to be alive.

Go to LarryVIP.com. Become a free subscriber there. You get all my information, including a daily newsletter, stuff like that. I just told you that. President Trump from London is a truth social posting about Jimmy Kimmel. He also put out an even more important post just now. Please to inform our many USA patriots that I am designating Antifa, a sick, dangerous, radical left disaster as a major terrorist organization. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding Antifa be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention. To this matter, I do love it, Winnie. And it's opposed to with that. It's kind of a big deal. Not only does it help the Justice Department and federal investigators sort of better coordinate going after Antifa groups now designated to terror organization, but that money thing is a big deal. If you are funding. any kind of 501c3, non-government organization, political action committee, and there is any suggestion that any of that money is filtering its way into any of these Antifa groups. That means your funding terrorists. That's a big deal. So watch that space. I've got a couple of other items that I want to get to today that we sort of set aside because of the big Jimmy Kimmel news that we've covered rather thoroughly, I'd like to say. So I want to start with this. You know the old line, there's lies, there's damn lies, and then there's statistics. We've got to add something to that. Well, was that Benjamin Netanyahu Franklin that said that? I'm going to say it was Benjamin Netanyahu Franklin. There were lies, damn, somebody grok that for me, find out who said it. Although grok, eh, kind of a crapshoot these days. lies, damn lies, statistics, and CBO statements, Congressional Budget Office statements. Those are also right up there with lies, damn lies, and statistics. You remember the big, beautiful bill, the legislation that lowered your taxes? Who was it? Oh, British and Prime Minister said that. Oh, Israeli. He was a good one. He was the Prime Minister during Queen Victoria. Thank you for that. Mr. Producer is here to help me out. Did you grok it? Yeah, he did. See, Grock helped on that one. He was sort of known as the Ben Franklin of London. So you'll remember the Big Beautiful Bill when it was being debated. The talking point from the Congressional Budget Office was that it would create a $3 trillion.
Deficit. Remember? That's what Thomas Massie and Rand Paul and all of the Republicans who refused to vote for. Well, we can't have this deficit. We can't have $3 trillion deficit. And a couple of things here. First of all, the Congressional Budget Office is always wrong. And by always, I mean always. Always wrong. Number one. Number two, the Congressional Budget Office, who we're told is nonpartisan has become very. Very partisan. And number three, the congressional budget office never employs dynamic scoring. What is dynamic scoring? Dynamic scoring is when you cut taxes. They use static scoring, which is, okay, if you're going to be spending, or if you're used to getting $100 billion in tax revenue and you cut taxes by 20%, then you're only going to have $80 billion in tax revenue. That's static scoring. But you see dynamic scoring would suggest, oh, well, that means you're putting $20 billion back into the hands of the American people. that means they're going to pump that money back into the economy using their purchasing power making investments or maybe expanding their businesses and hiring more people all of those items all those actions that people do with that money end up bringing more money into the economy because when you hire somebody with your money that means that they've now got money and everybody's spending more and if you're spending more and you're hiring more people and people are making salaries because the economy is growing that means more people are paying taxes and the fact is revenues go up oftentimes when you cut taxes and that happens every time and i mean every time the 2017 tax cut from donald trump revenue was higher because of the tax cut The George W. Bush tax cuts. Revenue to the federal government was higher than before the tax cuts. You can go all the way back to the Reagan tax cut of 1986 that they said was going to blow up the deficit. Nope. You lower taxes, you put more money into the hands of the American people so that they can do with it what they want and spend it. That grows the economy and that increases revenue to the federal government. It happens every time. And the CBO refuses to score tax cuts like that. They refuse to. So you heard two big lies from the CBO. Three trillion dollar deficit. Oh, and the other thing is they never took into account the revenue from the tariffs, ever. That wasn't even counted. They didn't even look at it. They didn't consider it when they were scoring the effects of the big, beautiful bill. So the first big lie from the CBO when this thing was being debated, and it became the talking point of the Democrats, it's still the talking point of the Democrats. Talking point of the media, talking point of some Republicans who refused to support the bill, and threw their president under the bus, was $3 trillion deficit, and, of course, you heard the 17 million people thrown off of Medicaid. 17 million people thrown off of Medicaid, 17 million people thrown off of Medicaid. Very quietly this week, very quietly, and boy do I mean very quietly.
both of those lies have been reversed by the very same congressional budget office have you heard anything about this have you seen any news reports have you seen any headlines No, you haven't. Here's a quick clip. The Trump War Room account actually posted this. It's from the All In podcast, the Silicon Valley tech billionaires who have their own podcast. Because, you know, everyone's got to have a podcast. They were invited to the Oval Office to interview President Trump, and this came up. Take a listen. I don't know if anybody has told you, but we had dinner with Senator Crapo yesterday. He said this incredible thing. When the CBO originally priced the big, beautiful bill. They thought it was minus $3 trillion. They just updated it because they have to, and it's actually a surplus. It's like $300 billion. It's an incredible thing. Well, we're taking in hundreds of billions of dollars worth of tariffs. So did you hear that? It's not like it was a long time ago. It was four months ago. Three months ago. The big, beautiful bill. CBO scoring, this will result in a $3 trillion deficit over the course of the next 10 years. They've just updated the scoring. It's now a surplus of $300 billion. It's just a rounding error, a rounding error of trillions of dollars. Oh, we got that one wrong. It's time to blow up the Congressional Budget Office. Clean House. Jimmy Kimmelvin. That's ridiculous. Oh, and what was the other lie? The other lie, 17 million is, you know, I live in the D.C. area. That's where I do my morning radio show right in Washington, D.C. kind of an important city when it comes to news talk radio. We have a governor's race, an election in Virginia, 15 days away for election day. Early voting starts this Friday. Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat nominee. a left-wing radical Democrat, they all are. Abigail Spanberger in most of her ads is talking about how Republicans have cut 17 million people from Medicaid, 17 million people losing their health care coverage because of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. It's a big talking point. Only problem is, well, that's also a lie. Here is Representative Lloyd Smucker. In Congress today, Ways and Means Committee. 16 million, 17 million people will lose their Medicaid. And Dave's right. Get your facts. Get your lies straight. Because CBO has said none of that. You know what CBO has said? CBO has said people who are losing their Medicaid first. They're people who maybe were double enrolled. We're ensuring that in this bill. again that the enrollment procedures are being put, are in place, and that we're doing that twice a year. Who can be against that? We should want to be sure that everyone who relies on these government programs is eligible for those benefits. You're arguing against that. So Dr. Oz came before this committee and said that they've already found millions of people who were double enrolled. You don't care about that?
And that's some of the billions of people that CBO supposedly say is going to lose coverage. Non-citizens. Maybe you all want to have non-citizens covered, but my constituents don't. They don't want their taxpayer dollars to be used for people here illegally. We may disagree on that. And we should expect a very large number of the American people believe that if you can work, you should. And if you're going to access taxpayer dollars and you can do your part, then you should. So asking them to work 80 hours a week, you're kidding me? My constituents love it. Actually, it's 80 hours a month, he overstated it. But that's the fact. In fact, here is the statement from, this one is from Congressman Guthrie, the chairman of the Budget Committee. Excuse me. Yeah, energy and commerce. Excuse me. Brett Guthrie, Kentucky. Prolonged lie exacerbated by Democrats that 17 million individuals will lose health care coverage from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act has finally been dispelled by the Congressional Budget Office this week. Again, did you see any headlines about this? Did you hear any news about this? Did you see it on cable news at all? You know, how many times did they do stories about the 17 million Americans who were going to be losing their health coverage? 17 million Americans who were going to die. Children, disabled children, it's always disabled children, they say, which I find offensive because I actually have disabled children. In the most recent coverage update released by CBO, CBO estimates 10 million individuals enrolled in federal health care programs will no longer be covered. Now right there, you've gone from 17 to 10 million. That's almost a 50% difference, right? But 10 million, that's pretty bad, right? Okay, well, hang on. Let's break down that 10 million. 10 million individuals enrolled in federal health care programs will no longer be covered. 5.3 million are able-bodied adults who refuse to work. And let me be clear. Wait, you just heard for 80 hours a month. And that can include volunteer work. So if there is an able-bodied American who is now suddenly saying that they're not getting their health care coverage because the federal government is no longer providing it, that person refuses to work 20 hours a week, even though they can. And again, that work can be volunteer work. Now, maybe you think that everyone should get health coverage regardless. Make that case. But don't be telling me that people are losing their health care coverage. They are throwing it away if they refuse to show up for 20 hours of work. All right, that's number one. 5.3 million of the 10 million. 3.7 million of the people who are losing their federal health care coverage actually have access to other forms of coverage. So think about that for a minute. We've been paying for 3.7 million people to get federal health insurance when they're perfectly capable of getting health insurance from other areas. We were told that we were a draconian society because we were allowing people to go without any health insurance or health care, people who couldn't get it anywhere else. And yet it turns out 3.7 million.
had fully capable access to health care, they just didn't get it. So that's 9 million of the 10 million are either able-bodied people who refuse to work or people who can get insurance elsewhere. The rest of the people, which is what, just another million, are non-citizens. Non-citizens who aren't supposed to be covered anyway. The lies that become just conventional wisdom, gospel truth in Washington, D.C., in the media, no, no end. And that lie is repeated over and over and over again. And when the truth comes out, you never hear it. Now you have heard it. I'm Larry O'Connor, Mark Levin. Larry O'Connor in for the great one, Mark Levin. Once again, if you want more information about me, just go to LarryVIP.com and subscribe for free. And you'll see my streaming video show that I do every day at noon for Town Hall. You'll see the podcast for my radio show and lots of other stuff. Sinclair, Sinclair is one of the companies that owns a ton of these. local television stations that air ABC network programming, they had announced that they were going to stop airing Jimmy Kimmel just about an hour before ABC pulled the plug on the show indefinitely. Sinclair has put out a new statement, this just about 20 minutes ago. Sinclair says Kimmel's suspension, not enough. Calls on FCC and ABC to take additional action. Sinclair's ABC stations to air special in remembrance of Charlie Kirk during Jimmy Kimmel Live Friday time slot. Sinclair, the nation's largest ABC affiliate group, objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As discussed with ABC earlier today, Sinclair decided to indefinitely preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live beginning tonight. Following these discussions, ABC's suspended production of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Mr. Kimmel's remarks were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country, said Vice Chairman Jason Smith. We believe broadcasters have a responsibility to educate and elevate respectful, constructive dialogue in our communities. We appreciate FCC Chairman Carr's remarks today, and this incident highlights the critical need for the FCC to take immediate regulatory action to address control held over local broadcasters by the big national networks. Sinclair's ABC stations will air a remembrance of Charlie Kirk this Friday during the Jimmy Kimmel Live time slot. Sinclair will not lift the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel live on our stations until formal discussions are held with ABC regarding the network's commitment to professionalism and accountability. Sinclair also call upon Mr. Kimmel to issue a direct apology to the Kirk family. Furthermore, Sinclair asked Mr. Kimmel to make a meaningful personal donation to the Kirk family and Turning Point USA. Sinclair, ladies and gentlemen, and for everybody saying, oh, this is pressure that Brendan Carr and the FCC put on, and this is Trump, and this is fascism, and this is the first event, no, this is Sinclair, the largest ABC affiliate group asking the FCC to take action, asking the FCC to put pressure on the ABC network.
This is Sinclair saying that ABC hasn't done enough. And Mr. Kimmel hasn't done enough. You don't get the news from news networks anymore. They're just going to continue this lie that this is fascism and this is Trump and this is the FCC. And actually, it appears as though these were level-headed individuals at the affiliate level. like Sinclair and Nexstar, who are responsible companies who have their own shareholders, and they have direct connection with the consumer in these markets, and they demanded ABC do this. And here's Sinclair, actually, furthermore, demanding that the FCC... Take further action. Remarkable turn of events. If you're just joining us, by the way, the news is that ABC has suspended production of Jimmy Kimmel Live indefinitely, they say, as a direct result of his lying, deceitful, erroneous, odious comments about Charlie Kirk and Charlie Kirk's murderer, falsely characterizing him as a MAGA conservative. There is accountability. We have taken back the White House. We've taken back the government. We are taking back our country. And now it looks like we're taking back our culture.
