Welcome to Friday. We have made it through the week, and we've got so much more to go, but it is Friday here at Wind Tucson in Tucson, and I love the rain. We have just had breaking news, and I've invited my good friend, Dave Smith, on the Louis, I think. Weisman Joni. I just butchered that really good. So Dave Smith, welcome. He has pled guilty in federal court. He did what's called an allocution, and he stated how he planned it, so it was premeditated. All things that we knew, but he is now admitted to it, and the judge has accepted his plea. So, Dave, you've got someone's working with a saw at your house. I guess so. I know, let me get over here and get away from this. You know, this is the whole thing. This is a rock star of murderers, this guy. As we all know, he is adored by an odd group of people who apparently have no moral foundation whatsoever. But he... He stalks this guy, murders this guy, and then becomes a celebrity in the leftist community. And then he pleads guilty. And everybody's like, wow, so he's accepting his punishment. Folks, this is avoiding punishment. This is an attempt on his part to mitigate those things that he has been possibly prosecuted for in state court. New York is a unique state. Because they don't, you're not, they can't do that double jeopardy. So, New York's unique in a lot of ways, right? Sorry, it was just there on the top of mind. But yes, keep going. You read my mind, yes. Right, right. So, but he, remember this clears up, he, he did a plea deal. So he's getting out of a lot of the other ancillary charges, you know, the terrorist stuff and all that. And, you know, he's going to spend life in prison, which means seven to ten years, you know, because it's just weird, folks. This is not justice. This is just, man, it's very frustrating. Although, Dave, I think the judge today, because I was listening to it on my way in, the judge today said that he, once he gave his plea, he couldn't take his plea back. So, like, he couldn't play games with this plea. Also, she put things on the record stating that he was clear, like he wasn't on drugs or anything, that he was, that he, she was making a record of who, that he had consulted with his attorneys, that he had done certain things that are legal check marks. And so, therefore, then he would have no way to get it. to get out of this. And I think the sentencing is life in prison. Like I don't think, I know what you're saying, but I, you know, unless she gives him some out for good behavior, the sad thing, well, there's so many sad things, the fact that this father and husband was gunned down in the middle of the street to begin with was horrific. It was cold-blooded. It was cold-blooded murder on video.

We've seen it. Americans have all seen this. And he's 28. And the shooter, the criminal, the, you know, no matter how they were. What I think was the most sick thing that happened out of all this is that society somehow tried to make this guy a hero, just like with George Floyd. They have made him a hero. Let's don't pretend. No, he is definitely in a certain category of Americans. This guy is a rock star. They love him. He gets love letters. Women come and sing his accolades. And this is a mental illness at its worst. This guy murders a father. a businessman, a professional individual by stalking him and murdering him and a Colville, shoots him in the back. I mean, bushwax him, the most cowardly form of all. And yet here we are now. We have people who, who again have got this Mangione fever, and they love this guy, but my real problem is this. He is now subject to any kind of pardon or any leftist president in the future can alleviate this guy's suffering. The family of the victim can never stop their suffering. and by eliminating the ability to prosecute him in state court, which has now happened. Yes. There is, it's, he is going to only be subject to the whims of a future Biden. And we all know Biden never made any pardons. It's just as whatever cadre paid enough money or, uh, or whatever. Yeah, I'd love to see. I'd love to see the pay to play scheme there. You know, it is. Remember, like 1,500 murderers and drug dealers were released under Biden. There's a murder. So my problem with this this morning is my irritation of the fact that now it becomes a capricious act from some leftist president in the future. So they mentioned that in the future, and one of the commentators did mention that this morning as I was coming in, that, you know, someone could pardon this guy and let him out of it if it suited their political win. Sure. And you can see that, and folks, watch this. What you're saying, Kathleen, is that, yes, and for promoting themselves, a politician might, in fact, give him relief because he might become even a greater celebrity in the near future. He's this attractive young man. He's becoming this car celeb, however you pronounce it, the French words there. And I'd like to use other French words. Okay, Dave, we're going to have to work on your French. I don't know what the word is, but I know it wasn't whatever the heck you said. I know, but you also told me I couldn't use my other French words. I was so mad about this. But anyway.

This guy's a low-life scumbag. Is that word okay? And the problem is, the society, we've got to start stigmatizing criminality. We've got to stigmatize behavior like this. This guy is not part of the program for a free and civil society, and yet we're seeing that this is happening. And again, I know everybody, a lot of people are celebrating the fact that he pled guilty. I'm not because it was essentially, it was a... It was a best of bad choices for him, you know, prisoner's dilemma, sort of speak. And he's taken this conviction, but at the same time, avoiding other penalties that could have been far greater. Well, and we talk about double jeopardy. So, and as you said, New York is unique. My birthplace, by the way. I'll own up to that today. But I was born in Buffalo, not in the city where it's a little crazy. My disclaimer. But all of that. It was a legal move. His defense team is, I'm sure, he came from a very wealthy family. He had means. He explained how he did a 3D gun. He said everything. He admitted it was a full, you know, fuel. Oh my gosh, what do you say? Confession. Thank you, Lord. And so he's been advised. I'm confident. I think right now the attorneys are speaking. We'll see what they have to say. But for the family that lost their... the CEO of United Healthcare. They don't get him back. This is kind of bittersweet. And he, and Mangio is doing it for his own benefit, as you said, Dave. He's not a hero. He is a coward. He felt that his needs and his pain were superior to everything. And so he took the life as a symbol. He didn't know the CEO of United Healthcare. And so the fact that we have frustrations with health care, okay, but you just don't get to go around killing people. And again, this is something that's been inserted. by those that want to normalize that behavior. And it is why when illegal immigrants kill U.S. citizens, there doesn't seem to be the outcry or the desire to fix that problem either. This is now part of our broken culture, and this is one of those wake the hell up moments that we should be understanding that this 28-year-old kid ended his life that day on December, I think it was 4th. 24 he he did that he made that choice he was an adult he was over 21 he flew there it was premeditated he knew he was going to take that life you don't reward that if you do then your family could be next for some other arbitrary reason that you don't know

And that's not... You're doing second-order thinking. You're thinking deeper than the irrational, immature thoughts that this kid had. And sadly, there's so many Americans that can't do that second-order thing. If you want to live in a civilized society, you simply have to condemn and punish behaviors. We have a criminal justice system and literally refuses to punish. We have a system now where they can adorate this little clown. And what you're saying is... Folks, step back for a moment. Forget Mangione. Let's listen to a guy named Hasan Piker, right? Asan Biker. He hates America. He talks about murdering, killing landlords. He talks about this guy has got a huge audience as an influencer, and all the Democrats are embracing, the Democrats are embracing political violence at a level I've never seen before. Anti-Americanism, anti-Christianity. pro-jihadist, pro, it's becoming insane. And it's this pattern. And Luigi Mangione, it fits within this pattern as this violent homicidal, quote, crusader against capitalism. Right. So he's now become this face of this. And this is a very dangerous trend, folks. But again, it's going to be a long time. You know, we've got a break. But dang, I tell you what. No, no, no, no. So don't go anywhere because I want to, you transitioned exactly where I wanted you to go without, see, or reading each other's minds this morning. This is good. There we go. All right. We are talking to Dave Smith about the sentencing and the guilty plea that Luigi Mangione took this morning. in a federal court and we will be back right after this on 1030 the voice your trusted local news and talk um and uh i'm kathleen win with dave smith smith and win we'll be back right after this welcome back to win tucson on this friday um We have a murderer who has taken a responsibility for his actions, most likely to avoid the other trial that he would have been having to go through. So this would eliminate that. He will take the sentencing of the federal court. The judge has basically said that she can sentence him to anything. And I don't think she will go light on her sentencing. Dave disagrees. And maybe she won't, but you're right, down the road, somebody, for political reasons, could change that, and that's a shame. But Dave. They will. I believe they will. Yeah. And the problem is she can give him life, but she can't give him the death penalty now. And here's the other problem. he's not going to be prosecuted in state. This is very frustrating to me because he becomes this symbol. Because now he's martyred to some degree. He's convicted. And he was so heroic to take this plead guilty. And you're saying that you're saying that, you're saying that sarcastically. You're not saying that. That's how our media, that's how our propaganda media, our mainstream, since we do not have a news organizations anywhere, we have no one willing.

in the mainstream to speak truth to power. They chalk power to the people. And it's creepy. And it is, it's all propaganda. And it drives me crazy because they reach millions of people. And we can only meet, we can only reach tens of thousands trying to tell the truth. But it doesn't mean that we should stop trying to tell the truth, Dave, though. I hear you. I never said stop. No, I'm just saying. I know. It's frustrating. It is. I agree. I agree. But I also, and I appreciate your frustration, because especially given your background and everything you've done to keep people safe. because it's exactly the antithesis of that. What is happening right now? And you were talking about Hasan Piker before we went to... Oh, God. Yeah, he's had a temper tantrum yesterday about what happened in Wisconsin. It was actually kind of fun to watch, you know, and he used a lot of expletives. But you don't always get your way. You know, and these people are not serious people, and they're not grown-ups. They are entitled. self-righteous, and with no connection to the average citizen. And I say citizen underlying capital letters. Because if you want to be a citizen in this country, if you want to come to this country, assimilate. You can bring your traditions, but except if your traditions are mass murder or killing people. So I think that they got a dose of reality. But to me, I don't think the guy that they elected, the other Democrat Crowley, is any better than hung in Wisconsin. Now Wisconsin has a chance to write the ship. And like Scott Walker was a good governor, put it back in the Republicans' hands and see if Wisconsin can't fix what's broken there. They're on the verge like we are here in Arizona. I'm hoping we're a little bit stronger than that. But if we have to do anything right now, Dave, it's educate people on the... what this is. They're not socialist. They're communists. They're they're beyond that. They're on steroids. And it's about destruction. It is not about building this country up. It is about tearing down every institution that we have. Education, law enforcement, constitution, our systems, our government. It is about destruction. And if you want destruction, then vote that way. But I'm hoping and praying that most people want to continue this country. And we can fix minor things, but you don't destroy the whole structure that has kept us free for 250 years. Go ahead. See, the problem is that do the children of today have a clue where their freedoms come from, or even what freedom is, or even what...

Our system is. They don't. And the teachers' unions are so openly Marxist. And remember, Marxism is illegal in the United States. The laws that we had in the 1950s and 60s to stop communism have never left the books. The judges have quit enforcing it. And the Constitution was designed so that you could not vote away my freedoms. Specifically, the Constitution protects me as an individual and my liberty. Doesn't guarantee you get to take my money, doesn't guarantee you get to make my grandchildren peasants like the people that you can't seem to educate. And so we have a situation now where the attack on the Constitution, the attack on the foundations, the attack on simple things, and it's always done in some euphemistic way. It, you know, oh, man, you know, the electoral college just isn't fair, man. Well, you know what? That's because they don't understand. They don't know, but they don't care. But remember this, you destroy the electoral college. Now you are growing ever closer to that pure democracy that our ancestors terrified of. Plato himself knew. Remember Plato's a communist fascist. I mean, he, and I can't explain it any other way. Political philosophy, and this is where the guides of all the leftists come from is Plato. He believe man is plastic, man is malleable, the man, the species can be changed, and all you've got to do is make sure you don't let him hear music, that only the state can control the music, state will control who you marry, state will control. I read the republic, folks, if you think I'm wrong. This is thousands of year old. This is a model for totalitarian. This is the model for Marxism, Fascism, all isms. We can't get the kids to read the 250. Maybe we don't want them to start there. No, we can't. No, but see, that's part of being in a constitutional republic is a bit abstract. And you have to understand that because we don't, we do not trust democracy. We do not trust the common man to rule over others. And this is the thing with the Toakville was here in the 1830s, cruising around. He said America's greatest threat would be this dictatorship of the majority, this here or any of the majority, which we're seeing now. And they want to do away with the Constitution. The Constitution is your last effort to keep you free, folks, and you better defend it, and you better vote for people who defend it, and you better understand, because if you're not defending it in the ballot box. someday you'll be defending it in the streets, or you won't be, and you'll just be putting in the modern version of a cattle car. And you've already heard Hillary Clinton and others say, we need to, quote, re-educate the conservatives. Well, what is, re-education usually was synonymous with, oh, yeah, extermination. And although not everyone died in the gulags, the problem is, is that in a free society, you don't re-educate anybody. And folks, this is the thing. You listen to the Sasan guys. Folks, he's just all about violence. He has his vitriolic hate. And why the hell he's not being condemned to cross the board constantly? And the fact that no media, no leftist media stands up for their freedoms, tells you they're all totally on board with this crap.

And it's just, it's very bad. I get so frustrated when I see these quotes and people go, well, listen to him. Well, condemn him right now. Condem him on your newscast. Condem him at four, six, and ten. You know, if you don't do it, you don't stigmatize that behavior. You're going to get more of it. And to the kids, he's this big, attractive, macho, Islamic terrorist. And that's not, and again. You know what, I tell you, when I took comparative religions in U of A, you know, it was so carefully curated that you really, at the end of the semester, I thought, well, you know, all religions are essentially the same. Oh, really? Well, the Catholics are going to be upset because everyone else doesn't have to say three Hillenaries and two our fathers. So I'm just telling you they're not this thing. We didn't even get into Ireland. And my Baptist preacher would be upset because, you know, they don't baptize babies. They baptize adults. So, you know, there's a lot. I could throw shade on that all right now. We could, you know, dated some Jewish kids. I, back in the day, I, there's very different and very different and, you know, forget about, um, uh, Muslims and all the other people. So, uh, we've got all kinds of, uh, different faith. And, uh, and we've got a, but they're not, they're not the same and they're not equal. And that's the problem. The Quran is not the Bible. We've been, we've been told we can't judge others that, uh, that it's all relative. Everything is equal and equal. It's not equal and relative. You're free because this is a Western civilization based on Judeo-Christian values, period. It's not, and this is the problem, if you can't defend those primary principal values, you can't defend your own freedoms. And it's simple. We value the individual. We do not value the collective. We don't care about your skin color. We don't care about your ethnicity. Although it's fun, you know, oh, yeah, it's fun. We tease, oh, you're German, you're Italian, you're French, you're this, you're that. And America has always accepted, and it's always been kind of cool. We don't take people's cultures, and we appreciate and learn their food. We learn it because we like it, and it's a shared value. You're not taking anybody, you're not stealing somebody else's cultural value. And we don't live on stolen land. We bought this land, and nobody. Oh. We've got to start denying these fables. that have become ubiquitous that are part of the way to enjoy. Well, we have to do it so it sticks. We have to take a break. Do you have to go, or can you stay one more segment? Because there was a study that came up. I love it. You got me fired up now. I know, right. I got the car. I got the old truck running, so now we got to go. Although now you're a cool Jeep driver, but we already covered that ground earlier this week. I know.

So Dave, of course the U of A would have a football ad because I love our sports. But the center for, I was trying to find what I looked at yesterday, but I pulled it up. Are you there your feedbacking? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I can hear you. Can you hear me now? Okay. I can hear you now. So Center for Renewing America, a Campus Safety Tracker, the Center for Renewing America, affiliated with the Center for Renewing America, has launched a campus safety tracker to assess the relative safety of students at major U.S. universities. The initiative is framed as a response to high-profile violent incidents on campus, such as the assassination of Charlie Kirk, which September 10th coming up will be one year. It has not even been a year yet at Utah Valley University and the 2024 murder of Lake and Riley at the University of Georgia. So what... was what came out of it is that they said Duke was the worst, but in a sense Duke and UVA both have great basketball programs, but both are the least. safe place. They are the place where if you're considering to sending a student to college, you have this tracker and it's what is the student's vulnerability to violent crime. Now, we've been talking about this, right? You and I have talked about the decisions that prosecutors make that, that... city officials make by underfunding police by not prioritizing enforcing the law so it is now going to have a yet again we explain this an economic impact for all those that think it's all you know Hibuki Theater, this matters. And so now we are, and oh, by the way, one would only have to look to the national news recently. We had nine people shot in downtown. We had another woman murdered. We had a missing, a high celebrity high profile still missing. Nancy Guthrie, now we know she's deceased. And now her remains are out there someplace.

In Mexico, I'm betting, yes. Yeah, okay. And we'll put that on the scoreboard. But what they did and the purpose and the rationale of this tracker was to measure student vulnerability to violent crime, provide data-driven rankings of universities based on safety metrics, and help prospective students and family help. Sorry, not held. Help prospective students and families make informed decisions about where to study, factoring in local crime and immigration-related concerns. Well, we're the trifecta here, right? Our drug statistics are up. We just had a U of A student killed by her boyfriend who tried to get on a plane. I think he got on a plane and got arrested. They did, yeah. Yeah. So we don't have to look farther than the headlines from the last 60 days to understand why we're at the top of this list. But if you're recruiting for U of A, good luck. And I love my college. I love being a wildcat. I love my college. You know, I was back in journalism where we were allowed. We had to have two sources, by the way, to go out on anything. You remember that? We didn't get to make it up as we went along. And you had to also verify and check, but you had to present the facts, not your opinion. We are all opinion based on everything. Very few facts get out. So I know. That's a motion. We're all emotion based now. Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah. Well, Kathleen, here's the problem. You know, you and I are both U of A grads. We are proudly have my U of A plates on my car. The problem I have is. U of A's become an irrational cesspool. When my daughter graduated a few years ago with her degree in journalism, you know, I sat there at the process. It was all DEI, all woke, all, it was just everything. It was anti-American. It was anti-capitalist. It was anti. But now they're down 20%. All these businesses in the campus area are all suffering because we're down so far in our parents are just choosing different schools. The dogs are back from their walk, aren't they? Oh, I know. Yes, they are back, and now they're going to wake. Now they're going to wake the baby, and then there's going to, and then you've got workers in your house. So I, we are really. No, continue, though. I'm sorry. I tell you, let me go walk into the garage for God's sake. Yeah, go look at your new Jeep. Go ahead. The real world consequences for this kind of idiocy, which has become the academic world. You know, again, we could all say, look, I had, you know, my political science department was 50-50, leftist and conservatives. And now it's, like I said, you can set a nuclear bomb off on campus and not kill a Republican staff member. And this is one of the problems. It's not the university and the original concept of knowledge, learning, and growing. It's a concept of dogma indoctrination and control.

And the other sad thing is this is it's going to have real world consequences on that campus. Eventually parents are going to give up. Here's the thing. When you talk about safety, remember, only about 14% of crimes, including rape, are reported on campus. So you have this huge crime vacuum in terms of reporting that nobody's talking about. The simple truth is that crime is far worse on campus than you'd ever imagine, but no one's reporting it. And when they do report it, does anything happen? And we have this problem, even if you get somebody arrested, you have con lover, this social conflict theory. prosecutor here who believes you know laws were invented by the white supremacist plup she happens to be white by the way by the way but for details you know what the beauty of it is uh they don't they only see race outside of the mirror and then uh they condemn it and they all have they all have white fragility you know whatever name they come up was what the flavor of the month is and it's it's just getting old i had hoped and in fact we've talked about this before that Americans were getting intellectually fatigued from this white guilt thing and from this. And sadly, the media is going to play that card. They think that's their Trump card in a bridge game of life. So they keep throwing that card down and it's constant. It's ridiculous. I think I want to say, I want to make, I've got the study in front of me, so now I'm smarter. It's a 20-point scale. If you have zero vulnerability, you want to have a zero on this, kind of like golf. You want to get the lower score, not the higher score. We are ranked 17, which is very high. We have sanctuary status. We have a high crime rate. We have the political climate. This is what, this is now this national study says anti-enforcement. The 287G program says, I don't know what that is. It has to do with law enforcement, I think. We're not, okay, measures whether local law enforcement participates in federal 287G program, which authorize train officers to assist federal authorities in identifying, detaining, and removing illegal immigrants with removal orders. under the direction of ice. This is under Pima County. We are not participating. Shame on us. Another reason not to give them any more money. I want to hold Pima County hostage legally until they do the right thing. Student population ratio measures the concentration of college students within surrounding county, recognizing that larger student populations create a greater pool of potential victims where crime and illegal immigrant-driven chaos are more prevalent.

And that's at 5.10%. So I don't know what that means. Progressive district attorney. Yes. Like you just said, they called a district attorney. We call it a county attorney. She's still progressive. So, Dave, here's what it says. We are tied for the worst rating in the nation. The University of Arizona is located in Pima County, an area that actively embraces sanctuary policies to shield criminally legal aliens. and a DA's office with one of the worst progressive prosecutors in the nation in Laura Conover. We can't catch a break. Our treasurer had to resign. Our sheriff should resign. Laura Conover should never run again. And we're a mess. We are a mess. Yeah, but you're not going to read that in the Soviet Star daily. You're not going to hear it on the other local channels. You're not going to see it on Channel 413 or 10. Because they're not going to tell you about it, because they're going to cover for them, and they're going to pretend everything's beautiful, wonderful, and the Tucson Paradise. Oh, somebody got their brains crushed in or their head almost chopped off at a bus stop. Well, you know, white supremacy, you know. And guys, we live in an irrational... counties. The only way to change it is the vote. It's a simple truth. If you're going to sit there and just complain or tell other people, you know, you should have gotten better candidates. You should have gotten this. You should have gotten that. If you didn't vote, then you need to shut up because you're going to have to live in the... in the pit that you've created with this election. We have to applaud the Republicans. They did turn out to vote in the primary at a higher rate than they have in years. Yes, I'm seeing a positive trend. And we are not, I'm going to keep beating that drum. And by the way, I have a future wild cat. She's a junior in Sarita. She just turned 16 this month on August 5th, Michaela, Guadalupe Win, my oldest granddaughter. And she wants to go to UBA. She wants to become a teacher. She's fluent in English and in Spanish. She's a beautiful girl. But Wildcat students are among the most vulnerable in the nation to predations of violent crimes and illegal immigrant-driven chaos. And I read this to my husband last night, her papa, and he said, well, maybe we can pay to send her someplace else. I said, I don't think that's going to happen, dear. I think she's set on going to UVA. I think her parents, our children, want to keep her close to home. Maybe she'll stay at home and not live on campus, but... I haven't heard about this, but one of the reasons that this was so at Shahi is there was a recent conviction, praise the Lord, of a U of a student working for the Mexican cartels to traffic drugs and smuggle people into the U.S. A high profile rape and robbery attempt on campus and the murder of a community college student on the school's volleyball courts.

So I missed that, but that's one of the reasons. So there's crime going on in our city and county that we don't talk about, like nothing to see here, but clearly. they are the rest of the world. And so if you are a parent and your kid who lives in the Midwest, because I was a Chicago transplant to come here as, well, no, you lived in Flagstaff. But anyway, there was a lot of kids from the Midwest that came to college here. Why? Because we froze our tails off from April till. April every year. And so did we in Flagstaff. Yeah, exactly. Well, that's why. We were all smart. We all ended up here at UVA. But it was a different culture. And, you know, the only thing is my parents were like, don't go to Mexico. You know, they didn't want me to go to Mexico. So kids would go down to Rocky Point even when I was in college, and I didn't go. And it wasn't like it is now. It was much safer, but it was kind of a rule. And, and, and, but you don't. With all the craziness on college campuses, why would you send your kid to a school where the rating is 17 if you don't have to? And Al's like, well, maybe Michaela could go to ASU. And I was saying, that'll never happen. But it's now a concern. And we have a right to request that our supervisors, instead of asking for more money to spend on more ridiculous, ludicrous projects, Get something done to protect the citizens in their county. Do something positive. When do they call them the feds? You want to get reelected in two years? Do something like Washington, D.C. did. That was a Democrat mayor. Do something positive. God bless him. Maybe, or the county, I guess he's at the county. I lied. He's at the county. So maybe we have a door we can go knock on and say, hey. What do you, you know, you're working for the county at large. What can we do, given your background? You came from the city where your hands were tied. What can we do to advance policies that increase criminal enforcement that make it, um,

And it's just ridiculous. And it's frustrating to me. Like I said, if we had real journalists, they wouldn't let them back out of the conversation. Hey, you're talking to a real journalist. She's just old, and she has a radio show now. I'm a dinosaur. I'm a dinosaur. You are. I know. You're that bronosaurus up in the tree in Jurassic Park being friendly. Meanwhile, the Tyrannosaurus are eating us up. And it's a problem. They don't. So boys play with dinosaurs. Girls play with Barbies. I'm just going to say in a perfect world. They cannot, I guess, all co-ins. We'll go back to your Ubae religion class. We're all the same. Oh, my God. Yeah, Pablam. Pablam on toast. That's what it was. All right, Dave. So we've got about a few minutes left. I think this is a wake-up call. You know, we have this incredible basketball coach. And he's going to be honored this year at the Arizona Bowl luncheon. And I'm super, because I'm a blue blazer, right? Because I'm out in the community, raising money. And that money goes to help organizations that help kids all over the county. You know, that's a good organization. I've tried to affiliate with things that are making a difference. And by the way, the things that matter most aren't political things. But when you don't do your job and you don't do what is in the best interest and the self-interest of the community and you put your political stuff first, you have what we have now, which is total chaos in Pima County. And I'm going to, I'm going to professionally and, I don't know if I'm always going to be polite, but I'm going to do my best to put this out in an intellectual manner, which is the people that, I love the text I get. When people are listening, they understand. We have a short window right now. We have 90 days to knock this out of the park and to let people know that we are fighting back in Pima County. And I am trying to bring as much attention here locally to get funding nationwide to bring funding so we can get Republicans elected up and down the ticket from Governor Andy Biggs on down to the school boards. It is so, do not squander this moment in time right now. We are being given an opportunity to change direction. And we can take momentum into the presidential election. There's going to be a presidential election in just two and a half years from now. And it seems like it's a long time away, but it isn't. So let's be staged and ready for that. Because I don't want to give up. and go back to the Biden nonsense. Because if you look at what the Democrats are putting up, we're in trouble. You have a minute, sir. Go ahead. You know, that's the thing. And again, we keep doing these, what I guess are calls to action, and people must react to it. But also, look, study these things, folks.

Ask yourself, what makes somebody do this? What is going on here? Why do we not have charge? Let's take something simple. Why has making the free bus deteriorated the system so badly? Because you have to understand the difference between benefit and an entitlement is simply the appreciation of the recipient. if you said, okay, if you're poor, if you get this, and if you qualify, we're going to give you a bus ride, if you go in, you do this, you do some hoops. In other words, get some skin in the game, but otherwise you're going to pay to ride on the bus. Now you just say, well, the bus rides are free. It becomes an entitlement. And now that it's an entitlement, you actually build resentment because I would say, look, well, why didn't you get, if it was something you owed me anyway, which is an entitlement, you should have given it to me all along, right? Yes. So that's the problem. We got to go. America needs to grow up. I know, and I love that we were able to talk about so much today. Thank you. You're very welcome. And go drive your green jeep. Welcome back to Win Tucson. We have so many races and so much going on in the state. What we're going to do over the next few weeks and actually the next few months before the November 3rd election is educate you on everything that is on the ballot. And so I am confident that you're going to be the smartest voters that we have in Pima County. We should not take this. I had someone text me to say that we are tied for the worst and not to say that we got a ranking of 17. That's 17 out of 20, 20 being the worst. It is the high, no one got a 20. So what that tells us is that we're three points away from being the worst. And we are also tied with Duke. So this is... This tells us that we're not the only city, but we have a lot of criminal activity in our county. And one only needs to look to the elected officials because our sheriffs under investigation, our treasurer had to resign. County attorney doesn't prosecute criminals. We have a culture from the mayor that is anti-gun, anti-law enforcement. I don't know how this, the new chief of police, the rank and file lover, she came up through the ranks, but it's got to be a tough job when you are hired at the pleasure of the current mayor and counsel. And, you know, we're hearing certain names are going to pop in to run against, even from her own side. against Rahina Romero. But that election isn't now. So in order to put things in place that can help us for that election, you need to vote differently than you've been doing. We hear about the machine in Pima County. It's time that we deconstruct that. We are not a socialist country. We are not a socialist county. So when... We're voting that way. We make it easier for those that are scamming against us and scheming against us. And so it is my hope that we do everything that we can to vote people in. We have a special election, Pima County Board of Supervisors, in District 5, only District 5. This is to... permanently fill until the 2028 election, the seat that Adelaida Grahava vacated. Adelaida Grahava has gone full-on socialist. A Democrat socialist, if you want to sugarcoat it, she is everything that is in this report that we read, which is that the Center for Renewing America has basically told us that We are anti-enforcement. And we are...

We are, Adelaide is fighting against immigration enforcement calling people that are here illegally her constituents. They're not. And so it's important that we put someone with a different mindset into that seat. Steve Christie, Ali Miller, they work together. And it is the last time that we've had two Republicans. At the end of her term, Sharon Bronson occasionally would come over and help Steve out. We need to put that back in so we have a balance. that way then you'll get two points of view not an automatic vote for the insanity which is costing us money and now here we are nationally being known not just because of the study on uva and duke where we are uh the worst rating in the nation, you know, tied for the worst rating in the nation. And we are being, what people that are looking at this college are going to look and say that we are actively embracing sanctuary policies, which we know, to shield criminal illegal aliens. And that is, that is Adelaide Grahalla in a nutshell. And the person that took her seat, Andre Cano, is continuing that and even taking it to a further extreme let's get that out of our board of supervisors. Let's turn the independence out. Let's get all the Republicans out. It's the only way we can win that district. It is still a highly Democrat district. It doesn't mean we don't try, and it doesn't mean that we're not going to work on that. We're going to take a break and we come back. The Center for Renewing America. It is a campus safety tracker measuring student vulnerability to violent crime and illegal immigrant-driven chaos across America's colleges. We've had news this week of a U.S. Co-Ed murdered by her ex-boyfriend. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. As you know, We have those that are in office right now in Pima County that are not putting our safety first. And so U of A and Duke were rated the worst rating in the nation, the University of Arizona located in Pima County. And so. Does this surprise? I don't even know. Have you even seen this report? I just got it late last night. So you may not even... I saw the headline. I haven't had time to read the report yet. What are you doing? Running for office, Jeff? Wait, what do you... You know you're not supposed to sleep right now, right? No, I'm just kidding. Well, I can... Actually, I was actually getting ready for work. Actual real work. Yeah, oh yeah, you have a job. You must be a Republican. Okay, so it all is coming back now. And believe it or not, that... We actively, I know this is going to sound as a shock because I know you're running, right now Pima County is viewed as actively embracing sanctuary policies to shield criminal illegal aliens and a county attorney's office with one of the worst, just the worst, progressive prosecutors in the nation. We are the worst. If being the worst is like a prize, we're winning it, hand over fist, literally. Right. I think it's important for people to know this is the third incident in a month. where somebody with a prior criminal history that should have been prosecuted and punished was not, and somebody has either been shot or been killed because of it. And the U of A, this is now a black eye for them. And if they are wanting to change this and lift up enrollment, enrollment's been declining at U of A. Yes, it has. And maybe someone should wake up. I love my college. I love University of Arizona. I'm a proud wildcat. Bear down. As am I. Okay. See? Andy Biggs, proud wildcat, although for some reason he's not allowed to say so. I don't know why. Not because he doesn't want to because that should tell everybody everything they need to know. But that being said. We need to underscore...

You know, everything that is happening there. One of the things is there was a recent conviction, which is an anomaly, of a U.A student who was working with the Mexican cartels to traffic, drugs, smuggle people into the United States. There was a high-profile rape and robbery attempt on campus and the murder of a community college student, Pima Community College, on the school's volleyball courts. And that doesn't even include anything that's happened in the last three weeks because this study. was done in the last few months. But what it does say is it's ongoing. It is a chronic problem. What would you do differently or what could you do differently if you and Steve Christie were tag teaming on the board of supervisors? Well, first of all, the most we can do at this point with only two of us would be to force a vote on the sanctuary policies and actually force the other supervisors to justify their position. Yes. They have to, they then have to justify their position rather than just blocking it from coming up as a discussion. And also put pressure on the county attorney's office. If the county attorney is only going to prosecute 40% of the crime, I say she gets 40% of her budget. Oh, I like that. We may not be able to stop her because she is an elected official. So the only way to get her out of office would be a recall election or wait until the next general election cycle. It takes so many votes. Go ahead. If she's only going to prosecute 40% of the crimes, we'll give her 40% of the budget. Maybe that's where the Pima County Board of Supervisors could get their money and they could withdraw 425. What do you think? Do you think that's a plane? Well, I think 425 is a joke anyway, but. Well, why don't we go? Segway there. Go ahead. It's your time. Make your case, Jeff Rhodes. Well, increasing the spending limits by 75% is ridiculous. They're already, and believe it or not, I looked at the county website, and one of their discussions as far as why they want to do this is because it says they would be legally limited to the point where they cannot spend the amount of money they have raised. So they're going to raise more money than the law allows them to spend. What's wrong with this picture? If they're raising more money than they're allowed to spend, why are they keep raising taxes? Thank you. They've got it a surplus, which is the problem, and they can't get, what it is, is they're taxing us too much. We're one of the highest taxed areas in the state, and they don't get their little grubby hands on it because of this protection. Why would we remove the protection? This is like going out and buying the most expensive car, Rolls Royce, and handing in the keys to your 15-year-old student driver and telling him go have a good time. You wouldn't do that. One of the areas I want to really investigate very deeply is the library on Mission in Ajo, the Richard Alias Library. They just did a remodel there, and from the reports that I saw, it was $7.17 million to remodel a library. We could have built five libraries for that much money. Probably three, but okay, I'll grant you that. I'm cheap. I would have built it for four. I would have bought five. I make it cheap. Okay. Well, you don't want cheap, you want, but here's the problem. And then you've got what, Jen Allen with her furniture? I forgot how much that was. And I was also told that Andres Conno did the same thing. He bought walking desks.

Which I had never heard of. Yes, so explain that to me. Yes, please. So yeah, this desk, you can use it sitting down or you can use it standing up, which, you know, that kind of makes a little bit of sense for people to be able to, if they're going to be in the office for eight hours. This one, however, supposedly follows you around. You can take it around to different areas of the office. That's what they call a walking desk. How expensive are they? My guess would be they're not real cheap. I just found this information out, so I haven't been able to research it yet. But you can just get a public records request for that. Well, I know somebody who is trying to do, has put in some FOIA requests for that stuff, and they're being slow-walked. Anything that they have requested regarding Andres Conno has been slow-walked. Well, it's amazing. It's not surprising at all. No, it's. Considering Anders Conno is the only one up for election, that's not surprising. They're trying to protect him. And I think he's probably one of the most unethical leaders, and I use that term very loosely that we've had in Tucson a long time. Well, and so back that up with something. What do you believe that he's doing that's unethical? Well, there's a report out that he resigned from the legislature. under duress. Instead of his claim of resigning to go get his master's to great Harvard, he resigned under duress because there was a complaint filed against him for bullying and harassment while in the legislature, an ethics complaint. Yes. So he resigned to avoid that investigation in face consequences. So that has been reported. Isn't it avoiding consequences the theme? of the Democrat Party. I mean, you had the sentencing today of, well, not the sentencing. You had the plea agreement today of Luigi Mangione, who was made into a celebrity for killing, I think it's Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Healthcare on December 4th, 2024. So, like, and there are people out there that are championing that kind of thing. And we... uh, Kano, uh, Grahava, they are fighting for illegal immigrants. They're fighting against prosecuting criminals. You know, I was just thinking about this a few minutes before you, you asked me to call in here. And I had, was thinking about Adelaida Grahalla. And one of the things that are, all of our congressmen are supposed to be doing is they're supposed to be upholding the law. Their job is to make the laws. Their job isn't to be an activist and violate the laws. Same with our board of supervisors. They're actively going against federal immigration law with these sanctuary policies. So why are they doing that? We all know why, but the reality is they should not be doing it. It should never happen in any city. We all have to follow the laws or our society breaks down. And that's what they're trying to do. They're trying to break down our society and rebuild it in the way that they want it to be as a socialist. Don't you think that that is, it's not just unique to Pima County, though. It's happening across the country, correct?

Oh, yeah. It's a wave that's going across the country, Zohran Mamdani in New York. Yes. I yet or the guy, I always forget his name. There's been two or three of the Democrat Socialists of America going for offices in Wisconsin and Michigan. We have it here. And I firmly believe that Andres Cano, Adali Rahaba. and Jen Allen are all DSA. Right. They have not said it. I can't prove it. I believe it. I believe in my heart that that's true. Well, and I don't think you'd have to go very far. Oh, by the way, a walking desk doesn't follow you. It's basically a type of a treadmill with a desk attached to it. Prices around $150 to $450. Thank you. So there you go. Not too bad. Just so you. Okay. So that's what I, someone, people are always helping me here, Jeff. I say something and then they correct me. It's kind of like having a bunch of kids. It's still expensive. When it was described to me as something that follows you around, I was actually picturing in my mind what they have in hospitals where they have the nurses will have a computer. They walk it down the hallway with them. Yes. Then IV. And who knows? Maybe he's got a margarita. We don't know. Again, if it costs 150 to 450, what we should look at and see what his cost. His probably cost five times as much because he had to go through all the people that they go through to give money to. There's a lot of money laundering going on in our state. Yeah. And that's where I was headed with that library issue. Yes. That library issue was Durazo Construction. Now, there are reports out there, not by me. I'm reading these reports that Dorazo Construction is owned by Mario Durazo. and that Regina Romero has an uncle named Mario DeRazzo. Cool. It has not yet been absolutely verified that they are one in the same Mario DeRazzo, but that would explain a lot of the contracts that are being distributed throughout Tucson by City of Tucson and Pima County for Durazzo construction. Oh, my Lord. Tell me it isn't true. More pay to play. Isn't it great? It amazes me when you start running for office against these people, how many people are willing to feed you information? Yeah, because they're frustrated, and they appreciate that you have the moral courage to step forward, but they, you know, and they're happy to help you, just don't mention their name. So keep your sources protected, but then do your own verification is what I say. And some of those sources absolutely will be protected, but some of them are actually public. Yes. Three Sonorans. Three Sonorans is the one who reported on Andres Conno being having the complaint filed against him in the ethics committee. Right. So that's public information. And I know that that's been verified. It was verified with me personally. So I know that that is. And myself as well. Yes. Yeah, we both know exactly who it was and we both verified the information. But I want to give three Sonoros credit for revealing it. Yeah.

Well, it's time that we elect leaders who want to make the county better, not raise their personal profile. Very different actions. When you want to raise your personal profile, you go around and you do favors for people, and then people count on you. And it's called quid pro quo. It's not necessarily legal, but it certainly doesn't help the county. And so... Jeff, if people want to find out more about you, what do they do? Then go to my work for District 5. You're very distinctly different than who you're running against, though. This is not like Wisconsin where you've got two socialists running against each other. We have a socialist and we have a conservative. We have a communist and we have a conservative. And I'm a rookie as far as politics goes. But you're not a rookie when it comes to business. You have four degrees, correct, sir? Yes. Okay. One of every level. I spent way too much time in school. So I have the ability to do the job without the doubt. I know that. I'm confident in that. And I've had a lot of people being very supportive of me in doing this. Especially your wife, who we love, Vanda. She's my hero. She's special. She is. She is. First of all, she encouraged you. She said she's been asking you to run for 10 years. That's a wife who loves and appreciates you, but understood your passion for wanting to fix problems. And I give her lots of props because when a candidate runs, their family runs, whether they want to or not. It's just the dynamic of this. So I want to thank you for, go ahead. It's a big change already. The exposure has been big change. the busy weeks of meeting people and stuff, but we're both all for this. She's backing me 100%. So she's prepared for whatever we have to do to get this job done.

So here's, there's, they're trying to get our ESA ballot measure kicked off the ballot. Can you imagine? Yeah, because they're just, nobody's putting up with what they're up to. And we really can't get. I mean, I taught for 30 years. I really couldn't get. I didn't notice that there was a. That kind of creaked in over the years. Hey, Lori. So anyway, Arizona loves ESAs. And we know that because we went from 11,000 to over 115,000. users. And one of the reasons I think that the Democrats, we know Katie Hobbs doesn't like ESAs, but Adrian Fontes is now throwing his monkey wrench into this. One of the reasons in Chris Mays is because they don't want to turn out Republican voters. And if this ESA thing goes off the ballot, then we won't turn out to do that. Unfortunately down in Pima County, I think we're going to turn out to vote no on 425 because we're not going to give a blank check to the Pima County Board of Supervisors. While you were gone, the Center for Renewing America just came out, and Duke and Arizona are tied for the least safe college in the country. So, did you see that? I read it, yeah. Yeah. So in the meantime, we have, we're falling apart here. And the only way to fix it, the only way, I don't care what party you are, Democrat, Independent Republican, we've got to come together. And we've got to start saying no to the people that have, want open blank checks, they want to funnel our tax dollars to random arbitrary projects. We don't want to enforce the law. We want to coddle illegal immigrants. It's time to stop. It's just time to stop all of that and give back to the people that are paying the bills. You know? This is where mom and dad take back the checkbook and say, no, we're not going to keep paying for you going to college and not getting a dang thing out of it and partying every weekend. It's time to stop. Right. Yeah.

Yeah, my thing, my thing, I'm going to sound like an old person, but part of my thing is how we got here is we don't have to hunt for our food anymore. We just call Uber. Or we don't have to top fire word for winter. We just have a lot of time on our hands to interject all these crazy, feely, touchy-feely things. And then we've got all this technology that lets these touchy-feely nonsense things go everywhere. So that's my spiel on that. Kids just, and grown-ups too, you know, I mean, we are really living in a time when there's a lot of luxury for us. I mean, we just, you know, we're just spoiled. And I think that's pretty evident for just the topics that are coming up. It's like they're just ridiculous topics. And I know when I taught school, And I had friends at homeschooled way back when. You can finish a curriculum in three hours. A six-hour school day is not necessary if you're homeschooling. So there's that, you know. And then this course of curriculum that they're putting out there, you know, kids are just adorable. Their little sponges are going to do whatever they're told. And boy. I remember having a, I worked at a school and they were doing all this, you know, the modern stuff, the electric cars and things like that. And the kids were given an assignment to write about electric cars. Well, they were in seventh grade. They didn't even drive, have a car. You know, they're just doing a research project. But I asked them while you're researching your nifty electric car, let's see how much they cost. and I brought in a used car magazine that has, you know, cars for sale. Yeah. And they came to the conclusion you could buy two used cars for what you're going to pay for an electric car. Oh, wow. It was very cute. Educational. It was educational. The teacher wasn't real thrilled about that part of their report, but it was all true. Yeah, so things like that. And ESAs, I mean, they're out there. You can't walk back. I mean, if the people are going to change what they're teaching and really have a curriculum that's wholesome and, you know, robust and really gets them ready for the job market, you know, I think we should have high school kids that are mentored in at least three jobs that they show an interest in so that when they graduate from high school, besides getting a diploma, they should get a contract. to maybe work with those people that they were mentored by. Wouldn't that be awesome for these kids to know they can start earning money? That would be so cute. Well, it'd be wonderful. And then if they'd go to college, go to college. Yeah. And until U of A makes U of A safer, don't go there because you have a higher risk of getting killed if you go to school there. And as a proud wildcat, I'm sad to say that out loud, but it's the facts. And it's not even U of A's fault. They happen to be in Pima County. And maybe through no fault of their own, I'm sure they've contributed to the candidates that had their political ideology. But it's time to call, they lost, we've seen a lot of mismanagement through the, you know, Rich Robbins, just let's take a trip down memory lane there. And I think the new college president's doing a better job, but you've got to.

you know, this had Titanic written on the side. We've got to get the deck chairs back up first before we can make this all work. You know, and having a great football team and having a great basketball team is wonderful. But our enrollment is down and at a higher rate. And now being unsafe, if you're a parent of a child, you're going to make sure that you don't do that. Mm-hmm. Oh. Oh, yeah. I've got... Representative Colleton, thank you for, I put up the bat signal, thank you for calling in. No problem. Always for you, Kathleen. I appreciate that so much, and I appreciate you. So a couple things. We are hearing all these things. So it appears as though your opponent, Adrian Fontes, is doing every strategic mood. move he can to block propositions on the ballot that would turn out Republican voters. Am I just imagining that or is that seemed the same way to you? Well, he's been ruled by numerous courts just in the past 10 days or so multiple times to have intentionally misled the voters. No, he's trying to protect everyone's vote. Alex, just ask him. And being sarcastic. Well, I have no comments on that. But look, the courts have said that the description that he writes that is placed on your ballot has been calculated to mislead you as a voter. He's omitting material parts of what you're voting on. He's mischaracterizing material parts of what you're voting on in terms of these propositions. And so obviously he doesn't want to provide a neutral playing field. for these propositions. And so he has been slapped down by numerous judges. And now he's appealing that to the Arizona Supreme Court. And we're going to see how that goes. But I don't think it's going to go very favorably for him. I hope so. I hope he has a bad day. I hope he has many bad days. I hope he has a scheduled vacation for November. Well, he'd still be working for the state January 1st, 2027. That's what I'm hoping for. Go ahead, Alex. See, Kathleen, I wish him nothing but the best. In fact, I wish him a wonderful retirement. Yeah, he's kind of young, though. Maybe he can go to Wisconsin. They could use some help up there. Just saying. So one of the, I want to talk about the victories, though. So one of the victories, what are some of the victories we've had in court that he, the one he's appealing? So what case was that?

Well, there's multiple cases about the different propositions that the legislature has referred to the ballot. What about protect girls sports? And then there's also one about protecting military families from attempts to take away the benefits that they have earned that the legislature put on the ballot. And in both of those cases, if I recall correctly, and, you know, don't quote me if I'm jumbling cases up. But in both of those cases, the court said, you provided a biased description to voters. You didn't fully inform the voters as to the material provisions of the measure that they're going to be voting on. And that's not good, Mr. Secretary. But that's what he's been doing, right? He's been doing something no other Secretary of State has done, which is to... With his hand on the scale. Yeah, he's essentially writing the language that goes on your ballot as advocacy against the measures that the legislature is putting on the ballot. And similarly with the anti-school choice measure that is being placed on the ballot. He's writing a characterization of it that's very friendly. And again, if he wants to do that in an op-ed in the newspaper, that's his right. But when he's Secretary of State discharging his official duty, he's doing it on behalf of all Arizona voters. And that means that neutrality is required. He's not providing that. And I know with my measure, for example, the Fast Act, which is going to speed up our election results, you know, he completely omitted. that that measure requires that you be a citizen in order to register to vote and prohibits non-citizen votes from being counted. You just left that off the ballot entirely. So what did he say? What did he say that was for? You know? You said it's a voter ID provision. But the funny thing is there was a... pro-Fontes group that polled the measure. This poll just came out this morning using his language. They only told the voters the things that Fontes was telling him. It's skewed in bias language. And it's still passed according to the poll by 16, even when you leave out the citizenship. Even when you try to thwart the efforts of, and what proposition number will that be? I believe that's 144. Okay. So we have to vote yes on 144, correct? Well, you know, I'm going to look up the exact number because I don't want to give your audience inaccurate information. Yes. Well, they don't have a ballot in front of them. And we are going to go through all of these when they get a chance. But here's the guy. This is, I want people to hear this. They, we are. Yes, it's 140. It's 144. Yeah. Okay. 144. So here's what I want the voters to know here in Pima County and across the state. This guy who's your Secretary State right now is trying to suppress. This is my opinion. Alex is just here just because he's brilliant and my candidate for Secretary State. But he's trying to suppress the conservative Republican vote.

And if you do nothing else, we as a state are the first people to be able to pass this save act. And correct me, anytime I say something wrong, Alex, you correct me. But if we do that, not only did we do that here in Arizona, but we send a very strong message to the U.S. Senate. And I think... We've been the bad example with our elections for so long. I'd like to be the good example. I'd like to reclaim this state and the conservative principles that made it great. And I want to get back in the spirit of, you know, I started here, and I'm very old, Alex, 50 years ago and I was 17 years old at the University of Arizona, now deemed one of the most unsafe colleges in the country according to Citizens for Renewing America yesterday because we have nothing but good news down here. So I have to take these victories when we can, and we have to encourage voters to turn out to vote. And these are vehicles. These propositions are so critical because we had to circumvent the veto queen, Katie Hobbs. Did I say anything that I misspoke? Please go ahead. That's exactly right. You know, we know that the measures, the legislature put on the ballot are incredibly popular with Arizona voters or stuff that Arizona voters have been begging us to pass. And we haven't been able to do it because of Governor Hobbs, which I find very unfortunate because these are common sense measures, you know, that... that biological men should not use bathrooms that are used by schoolgirls. I mean, it does not get more common sense than that. It doesn't get more common sense than ID and citizenship for voting. These are basic measures. And we know that when it comes to common sense measures, you know, a lot of people who might not vote for Mr. Fontes gets very fired up about having common sense back in our elections and back in our schools. And he can't have that. You know, as Maricopa County recorder, of course, he did the same thing. He intentionally didn't put enough voting locations in places where he thought that his political opponents were likely to corner. substantial support. I mean, this is just this guy putting his thumb on the scale. Using your taxpayer money to buy ads during the World Cup to advertise this campaign. I mean, this is what this guy is. Arizona's deserve a lot better. And I love what you said about taking our elections from being a national embarrassment to being a national model and a global standard because that's exactly what I want to do, as Secretary of State. 100%. You know, we've talked about the Florida model. I think it's time that we do that on steroids here. Let us clean our roles. You mentioned him putting his finger on the scale. Green Valley, we had 13 polling places. Do you know that we only have three? Do you know this last election, they turned out almost 50% of their voters in a primary election?

So, yeah, yes, 49 point. Yeah, go ahead. You guys have been doing an amazing job down there. I mean, I want every Arizona to vote, regardless of their party, be the Republican, Democrat, independent, or what have you. But in Pima County, Republicans have historically not participated in our elections at the same level as Republicans elsewhere in the state. And this election cycle, at least if the primary is anything to go by, you guys have totally reversed that trend. And I would love to see you keep that up in the general election. You know, we've done a lot of work. You and I together have done a lot of work to restore our confidence of folks down in Pima County in the elections. Now there's still a long way to go. There's still a lot that needs to be cleaned up with the elections down there. Well, we've made tremendous progress. getting those lawful observers back in early voting locations, you going to bat to protect the rights of police officers to go vote instead of being disenfranchised. And I really think that's starting to resonate with voters. So keep it up because we want to see tremendous participation in November. Thanks, Alex. And we want to too. And I've been encouraging, you know, to not think historically, to think right now in real time. I believe that if you're paying attention, the socialist movement around the country terrifies people. And the people that are currently in office support that. They have fought against it. And silence is, if you don't speak out and say, I'm against this, then you should know that that also is a communication. It may not look like I'm for it, but if you don't say I'm against it, And you're part of that team. We know Adelaide Grijalva is a socialist. We know Joanne Mendoza is a socialist. We know Rahina Ramirez a socialist. We have an opportunity to... show up and say we're not for that in southern Arizona. We have a special election. We have a candidate for Supervisor District 5. That district is more Democrat than it is Republican. However, with independents and Republicans and some Democrats that are dissatisfied, we have re-registered. about 50 Democrats just this week in Pima County. There is a trend. It is not showing up on anybody's polling, but I am confident, Alex. I will love to continue to work with you because this is a passion project for me to ensure that your vote, everybody's vote matters, that you use that right to vote. It is your voice, and we have to speak. clearly and loudly today that we want our state and we want to protect it from those who want to break the law and thwart our election system. And we need to put a strong attorney general candidate in there to run and have him be our secretary state. And that is you, sir, Alex Collidan. Final thoughts. Well.

Well, so funny enough, before today, I would have agreed with you that it's not being reflected in any poll, but just this morning, a pro-Fontes group put out a very skewed poll. So the sample of likely voters was people who recalled voting for Kamala Harris by one point, even though Arizona went for President Trump by six points. So it was a significantly skewed sample. That sample. that poll that that Profontez group put out had our campaign down by one, down by one, and Prop 144 passing by double digits. Well, if we pass 144, we're dragging you along with that.
