Well, speaking of retirement, what are your plans? Because one of the things that a lot of people complain about is that, well, for instance, Marcy Kafter, been in office for like forever, for 30-some years. Looking ahead, do you plan to run again? Do you plan on staying in Columbus for a dozen years, 20 years, 30 years? What are you looking at? Because what are you right now? 30-something? 31. 31, okay. Yeah, so I will say I did sign U.S. term limits. I guess agreement kind of deal that I would be interested or I would support calling for a constitutional amendment to the Constitution to put in term limits. Really? See, because I'm not for that. I figured term limits, you know, that's what the election is for. If I'm angry enough at what you've done, then I should be angry enough to go out and vote against you or for somebody else who will do a better job. I don't need, because what if you're really good? You know, what if you're really effective? And then after six years, they tell me, well, you can't have him anymore. I guess my argument to that would be look at Mitch McConnell. Like, well, yeah. That's true. That's true. Let's go to the phones. Clifford, have you got a question for Ian? Maybe I just turned you on. I'll call you back in a little bit there, Fred. Okay. All right. Thanks a lot. Leslie writes, can you please ask him? How does he feel about the Save America Act and men playing in women's sports? That's from Leslie. And I'm going to ask you that, just because Leslie apparently is interested in it. Go ahead, fire away. So I am a proponent of voter ID, but we have it in Ohio. Right. Yes, there is a constitutional amendment that will be on the ballot, and I feel if you support enshrining in the Constitution, you know, use your civic power. Go vote yes. If you don't want it, go vote no. But I am, I do like voter ID. I'm a proponent of putting almost anything on the ballot. and letting the people decide. Anytime you put a petition in front of me, I'll be more than happy to let you get it on the ballot. And then, like you just said, let the voters decide whether or not they want it. Yeah. And then when it comes to the sports issue, I was a college athlete. I played high school sports. Did you beat all the women who were on your team? I was the number one seat on the golf team. Oh, there you go. But so.
I do think that, you know, when it comes to K through 12, that it does need to be boy sports are for boys, girls sports are for girls. And that's just how they've been structured historically. And I would support keeping it that way. Yeah. See, and I've always, when this topic came up. We have Olympics, and then we have Paralympics. And the reason we have Paralympics is because the people who are developmentally disabled or have some kind of physical problem would never win against regular Olympians who get to train, you know, whenever they want and are able to body. So if you want to be trans, be trans, and let's have your own trans Olympics. And that way, all trans are competing against other trans. It's not men, you know, who used to be men competing against women who were always women. There's none of that going on. Just go ahead and have your own Olympics, just like the Paralympics do. Yeah. Am I right? That's my solution, but that's just me. Are you going to be around any place in the next couple of weeks where people can come and meet you and talk to you? Because on the website. Friends of Ian Chamberlain, you can donate, you can contact, you can get information about the issues, ask questions, all of that kind of stuff for District 41. Yeah, so Mommy Summerfest is this Saturday? Yeah, it is. I'll be downtown in Mommy. How will we know? Will you have an orchid in your lapel or something? No, typically I wear a campaign t-shirt that's got big on the back vote. Okay. You know, I'm always wearing a mud hens hat. Okay. I'll be passing out. I put dumb-dums on the back of my business card and I just pass out business cards with dumb-dums. Excellent. There you go. All right. Well, listen, thanks a lot for coming in today. I appreciate it. You were honest, at least with all your answers. You didn't have him and wha. You didn't give me that crap about... Boy, that's a really good question, Fred, while you had to think of an answer or any of that kind of stuff. Friends of Ian Chamberlain.com, I've already got most of the interview posted on Facebook.
