The great Byron Donalds. There's primary elections. They happen every time you have an open seat, especially for the seat, as important as governor. But we've been doing incredibly well. Obviously, having the full endorsement of President Trump, former governor, our current senator, Rick Scott. 43 of our sheriffs in the state of Florida have backed our campaign, not to mention the congressional delegation, the vast majority of the state legislature. We've been able to really criss-cross the state. And the message has been clear. It's been about tackling affordability issues, insurance, and housing costs in our state and taxes, and having real plans to fix that for the people of our state. But the other side of it is keeping the Florida dream alive and well, making sure we defend that from the radical left. You know, people come here. It's for a way of life. It's not just the beaches and the taxes. It's a way of life. It's common sense, conservative living. Byron's got a big lead. But anytime I talk to anybody from Florida, Rick Scott's on this show all the time, Byron on yesterday and many others. I think of my friend Carol Markowitz, I saw on TV yesterday on Fox News, and she's proud New Yorker. She got out of here. She now lives in Boca Raton. She's annoying like Sean Hannity, you know, like, how did I ever even live in New York? It's so dirty. It's so filthy. You've got Zohran Mamdani. Oh, that's true.
Okay, but you're great today, Carol and Sean, because of New York. If you lived in bulk of your whole life, you wouldn't be great. Trust me. So with that said, here she is, the amazing New York Post columnist. My friend Carol Marco, it's good morning, Carol. Hi, Sid. Thanks so much for having me. And I have to tell you, I told Sean Hannity to move to Florida on TV. I have a clip of it. I was an early adopter, and I told him he should get out of New York, and then he did. But what is it about you, people? You know how much I love you. I think you're happy. I'm happy you're happy. And the truth is you do live in a much better place. I mean, there's... It's very hot. There's a lot of big bugs, and people are generally stupid. Or they care about having dinner and the neighbor and golfing. But why can't you just enjoy it without just... maligning New York at every opportunity. You know what? It's not maligning. I care about New York. I wanted to turn itself around. I would love if New York was doing better. I hate what's going on now. I still have family here. I still have friends here. I'm in New York right now. I am recording this from Long Island, New York. And I really love this place. And I wish that it would be better because I didn't think I would leave and New York would get even worse than it was in 2022 when we got out of here. But that's what's happened. The Zohran Mamdani thing is insane. I mean, everything he does is just, it's ill thought out, and it's just ineffective. I mean, just the pita tear attacks, for example. Like, I think the pita tear tax is a terrible idea. It's going to push out the people who are who can leave the easiest. I mean, all of that. But then the way that they did it where they ran everybody's information publicly and they. completely got it wrong where a judge had to step in and say you have to stop this. I mean, I don't want that for New York. I want New York to do well. I wanted to go back to the Giuliani years, to the Bloomberg years, where it was thriving and doing amazing. And then I could look at it from Florida and be like, yeah, that's my home state. That's my home city. I love it. I wanted to do well. It's just not. And so when I tell people, look, life can be better elsewhere. I'm telling them that because I used to be the New Yorker that couldn't. possibly imagine living anywhere else. I was that person. So I want them to just know that there are options for them. There is somewhere you can go where things function, where everything is better. What Byron Donalds said that we went to Florida for something is exactly it. Like when people are like, oh, the weather and all that, that's all a great side bonus. But what we're doing in Florida is working together towards something good and better. And we don't need to explain to anybody why. lower crime is good or why you want to have less homelessness. We've had all those conversations and we've come out the other end. Oh, I'm coming back. Don't get me wrong. Oh, I know. My son is going to college. He's going to college there next year. I'm going to buy a place in Fort Lauderdale or Miami Bocke. I don't know. And I'll be back because of everything you just said. And talking about Byron, you know, I brought up James Fishback yesterday. And he said, I don't even talk about him. What a loser. He's another, right, another Jew that.
Bashes B.B. and bashes Israel. You know, it's one thing. He's Jewish? He's not Jewish. He's Catholic. No, he's Jewish. He's not a Catholic wedding. I know, but I think I got it. We'll double check that for me. Maybe you're right. But either way, you know, when Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden sit down, those two losers, I mean, could you imagine a bigger loser fest than Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden referring to BBS, evil incarnate a couple days ago? That's one thing. But he, Byron said to me, no, I don't even pay attention. It looks like, at least, on paper, that Byron will get the easy win down there, yes? Oh, yeah. He's going to, it's going to be a landslide. I mean, I think he's going to get over 50%, probably. It's really, and I don't think Fishback clears 10%. And I'm, I would be surprised if he can get that high. Yeah. He's a fringe candidate. He is appealing to the worst common denominator, lowest common denominator. And look. Is it a problem that it even gets that amount, of course. But it is a problem everywhere. And I think Florida has a better situation and a better handle on it than a lot of places. You know, a thing that I, anti-Semitism is obviously a problem. But the thing that I keep mentioning is New York had more anti-Semitic attacks, more physical, aggressive attacks on Jews than all the red states combined. I mean, that is a figure that, you know, nobody talks about it. That is the reality that New York is in. And even when you do, like, per capita, and even if you do, like, how many Jews live in every place, New York still has the worst situation. My hometown of Brooklyn in particular. Oh, it's terrible. Brooklyn is terrible. Poor Inna Furnikov is trying to fight that every day. You do have another race. She's great. Another race down there that I keep an eye on. He's a Democrat, but I kind of like him as Jared Moskowitz. And he's going up against this larkin maniac, another DSA lunatic. I don't think Mosquist is going to lose either, right? No, I don't think so. I think he wins that primary. And then, I don't know, it looks like Scott Singer, the mayor of Boca is heading as being his opponent. Yeah, I look, I, Jared Moskowitz is obviously one of the better Democrats, but I still want the Republican to win. I think the Republican is far better. And I think that that's, you know, like, it's great that there's some sane Democrats out there, but the party itself is in peril. No question. I was actually standing next to Scott Singer. Can't make this up. I had no idea who he was. He told me he was the mayor of Boca. And President Trump called me up on stage at the White House, night three of Hanukkah. Standing right next to Scott Singer. Yeah. He was singer standing next to me, so I'm rooting for him too. And you're right about the party. He is great. You're right about the party. The last story you wrote in the New York Post, let these like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez need to answer some questions before we move on from woke one. And, you know, listen, she is one of these candidates that started this whole DSA thing. And I distinctly remember her and Zohran Mamdani dancing on a float at the Puerto Rican Day parade a couple of years ago. And now she's talking about running for president of the United States. And here's what's scary, Carol, if she does run, I'm telling you, she can win. Oh, she can win. Yeah, she has the appeal to young people. I think she's got a lot of things going for her. And that's why she's trying to walk back all of her crazy ideas right now. She's trying to make us forget. That not only did she want to defund the police, when New York proposed a steep cut to the police department, to the NYPD, she said no. When we say defund the police, we mean zero dollars for police departments. We mean actually defunding police.
She wants to close down prison. She, you know, refers to pregnant people, not pregnant women. I mean, she was the epitome of that cancel culture time where if you said the wrong thing, people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would be coming for you. And remember her line, there's no going back to brunch. There's no going back to brunch. We were all going to be activists forever for their causes. I don't know. I think the fact that she's allowed to even laugh off woke one, like, ha, ha, ha, woke one was so crazy. No, we can't let her do that. Wong lost yesterday in Wisconsin. That's a big win for us, right? But, you know, but that's great. And she was supposed to when she was up double-digit points. But still too many wins. And you look at this real creep, the guy in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed last week, Abdul El-Sayed. What a great guy. People like him winning elections across this country have these conversations all the time. People say to me, Sid, there's still a very small number. There are still plenty of moderate Democrats. That's a lie this one, John Fetterman. That's it. That's it. the party is not really destroyed just yet. I go, no. I am seeing way too much of the DSA candidates, these Jew-hating America-hating lunatics. They're not okay. What does Carol Markowitz think? Absolutely. And I think they're on a march through the Democratic Party. Where is Chuck Schumer to say these people aren't Democrats? Because they barely are. They refer to themselves as Democratic Socialists. A lot of them talk about destroying the Democratic Party from within. And yet the Democratic Party is letting them do this. By the way, yes, where Chuck Schumer is. That guy actually endorsed Syed last week. Right. Right. They are rolling over for them and they're letting them take over the party. And they're only doing that because they agree with them because they ultimately want the same things that these people want. They just were never able to say it. So now they're hoping to harness the energy of these people and to have the party grow. But this is, it's terrifying. I'm glad Hong lost, but she is just one person in the. in the larger scheme of these DSA races that they've been crushing this summer. And, you know, Democrats are not going to have a party when this is over, and they really should take that seriously. You're on Long Island this morning, and I talked to Bruce Blakeman about two or three times a day. We're very close. My son actually works for Bruce. I'll be with President Trump on Friday here on Long Island. I'm not sure you're going to be here. I think you'll be home at that point. But regardless, I know you're keeping a very close eye on that Bruce Blakeman-Hawkel race. Any thoughts on that? Also, the thing that the Hong race exposed yesterday is that the polling situation is not good right now. I mean, these polls had her up by double digits. She ends up losing. I mean, I don't know what to believe, but there's a poll out today where Hoka leads Bruce Blakeman by about 10 points. Sienna, right? That's a Sienna poll. Right. And they usually lean left just so you know that Sienna poll, yes. Right, right. It is a lot, but it's. less than you'd imagine for an incumbent who is supposed to be quote unquote a moderate and she's appealing to these upstate voters and all of that. On Long Island, Bruce Blakeman is king. I see his signs all over the place. I mean, if it was just Long Island, I think Bruce Blakeman would be the next governor. I think you're right. He would win easily. I want to play this cut for you, Carol Markowitz, and get your opinion. This, Lewis, is cut number 10. Two upstanding guys. I know you love both of these guys. Hunter Biden.
And Tucker Carlson, take a listen. And you know what we're doing? Is I'm supposed to hate Tucker Carlson because he's an anti-Semite and he's this, I know you're not, you're not an anti-Semite. Not. 100% know you're not an anti-Semite. No. No, that's what my point being is that, no. I would just say so. My point being is, is that, like, if it's anti-Semitic to point out that Benjamin Netanyahu is evil incarnate, then you know what? I don't know what to say to people anymore. I mean, all you have to do is just open your eyes. Really? Just literally open your eyes. Open your heart for one minute. Right. Put down the crack. Then realize, you know. It's such an obvious lie. It's not a lie. So Hunter Biden is defending Tucker Carlson. If I'm Tucker Carlson, I jump off a bridge today. I know they're friends for a long time. People don't realize that. They're friends for a long time. But can you imagine two less believable people than those two sitting down to talk about Israel and BB? Right. You know, Hunter Biden wrote Tucker Carlson's son a letter of recommendation for college. That's how far they go back. So the fact that Tucker Carlson is having Hunter Biden on because they clearly agree on, you know, the Jewish question and Israel, that's what the thing they have in common is, right? It really sounds like two hobos on a corner having a conversation. Tucker Carlson with his crazy laugh and Hunter with his just rambling. BB is evil incarnate. I mean, come on. Look at what his dad did to the country for four years. And Tucker Carlson was completely opposed to his dad and said that his father was one of the worst presidents ever and did all these awful things to the country, opened our border, let all of this happen. And now they're friends because they've agreed that Jews are the problem. I mean, I don't know if you heard, but apparently it's Israel's fault that Hunter's laptop got into the wrong hands. Well, Tucker Carlson said that. Tucker Carlson said that. Tucker Carlson actually said he blamed. You can't make this up either. He blamed the laptop situation on Israel. This is what a, but he's not an anti-Semite, right? And then he went on to blame something about minors. Like a Jeffrey Epstein type of thing. Minor is being sexually assaulted. That was also Israel. And he even went as far as say this lying piece of garbage that they contacted him at Fox. Israel came to him at Box with all this number. Hey, Tucker Carlson, let's see it. Let's hear it. So he blamed Israel three times in 46 seconds with Hunter Biden a couple of days ago. How do you take that guy seriously? Seriously. And the thing is, like, whatever else you think, Tucker Carlson pretends to be this family values guy. And Hunter hasn't seen his illegitimate child in years. They don't talk. They don't anything. He doesn't support this kid. He was forced to by a court. I mean, how do you have this guy on your show with a straight face and talk about how you're the guy who cares about family. You're the family values guy. Please. And now, I believe I'd have to, this is true. I think after Tucker Carlson Hunter Biden did Nick Fuentes.
That's all you need to know me. These people, they're just, they're really, and they believe, they really do believe. They're delusional that they represent America, that most of America agrees that BBC's evil and every decision Trump makes is because of Miriam Adelson and Israel. They really believe that the majority of Americans believe that when the truth is they are so fringe. I don't care about Twitter or chats. They are so fringe. They're either really stupid or making a lot of money. Absolutely. So I just came back from Israel. And, you know, when I'm out in the world, even I was in England before and after Israel. And people are like, oh, where are you going? Where are you coming from? And I openly say I was in Israel. And, you know, the regular people don't care at all. That what we see on TV, you know, in Britain, for example, people, oh, you know, how dare you even mention Israel and all of that. The regular people are like, oh, I would love to go there. Oh, I have a friend who lives there. You have these conversations with people and you realize that this fringe online is just not reality. It's not. It's not even close. Had it go for Keir Starmer. He hated Israel. Had that go for him. Maybe Nigel Farage will one next. I'm hoping in a couple of years. So you're about to wrap up your stay here in New York City, the great Karamarkowitz, and you started this conversation saying, I love New York. I believe you. I was just kidding with you. And so did, Sean. But you guys just had it up, and I don't blame me the one of you. I really don't blame me the one of you. But really, there is no Giuliani walking through the door unless I run, and I've been asked a million times, and I'm considering it. I really am. My wife will divorce me, but I may have to save the city. What can I tell you? And if Donald Trump comes to me, and he might, I'll see him on body and say it's not a bad idea, I will really consider it. But either way, without me in the mix, outside of a Republican-winning mayor and or governor, do you see any hope for any revival in this city or this state? Without a Republican winning, I absolutely don't. I just don't see how, because the Democrats now have to cater to this fringe, far left base that they've developed, that they've let fester. And now they have to, you know, come up with these crazy ideas, like getting rid of prisons, not having anybody go to jail. I mean, my 10-year-old overheard this and was like, wait, they don't want prisons. So what happens if you commit a crime? I'm like, I don't know, kid. I don't know what the next step is when you commit a crime and you've gotten rid of prisons. These ideas are so stupid that they don't pass the little child test. And so I don't know that the Democrats can do anything in New York, even quote unquote, a moderate Democrat because what does that look like? Kathy Hochul had to endorse Zohran Mamdani, and then Zohran Mamdani won't endorse Kathy Hochul. I mean, this is where the Democrats have found themselves. So I think a Republican has to win. It has to be, you know, Rudy Giuliani, Sid Rosenberg type of Republican to get this place back in shape. And again, I will be rooting for it. Very hard from Florida. All right. Well, you're here in Long Island today, so make sure you keep listening because you mentioned the period of attacks. And Randy Mastro, who was Giuliani's deputy mayor, you know that. And Eric Adams, Deputy Mayor, he's going to join me next. And he's putting up a good fight for all the people that...
claim that they should not have been on that list, and they're right, but that didn't stop the mayor from doing it anyway. Carol Markowitz, you're beautiful, you're great. I love you so much. I really do. So nice to talk to you. Thanks so much for having me. You're so great. Thank you. You really are great. Carol Markowitz, right there, the amazing New York Post columnist.
