102 segmentsSo, Joan, I apologize. I... Unfortunately, had to do a couple of things off air. I don't know if people noticed, but my voice started going out big time in the last 15 minutes of the previous hours. So I had to go deal with that. So I missed your story. So what is the marriage scams? It's Chinese marriages. So the Chinese nationals are coming here and paying, in some cases, $100,000 to Americans to have an arranged marriage. And sometimes they do it. They do these things in restaurants, Chinese restaurants, in New York City. I don't know if you've ever been to one. But they actually do the marriage while there's people dining around you. And so it's a very public setting. And so they can take pictures and say, hey, we got married here. And they're scam marriages so that people can get their U.S. residency. And they're Chinese. And they're Chinese. Remember, Joan. Two Wongs don't make a white. Oh my gosh. That's a long way for that. Yeah. It's hearkening back to the absurdity of yesterday's show. I apologize. So this is, I bet you both men and women, right? So if I wanted $100,000, I need to go to New York, find a Chinese restaurant, and say, hey, I'm open for business if any Chinese woman wants to marry me. I'll take, I can get $100,000. Is that basically how it goes? You don't have to open a restaurant. No, go into a restaurant. Go go into a restaurant. Yeah, go find a Chinese restaurant and say, you know, I'm in New York. They say it happened about a thousand times so far that they can track. But of course, they think there's many more than that. How do they, okay, so how do they know that they're scam marriages as opposed to just like, do they, are they married for a certain amount of time and then they end up getting divorced or? How does that work? Let's see. And by the way, the funniest thing, before you told me what the story was, Sam kind of gave me a little bit of a clue as to what it was. Is it wrong that the first thing I thought of was how much? Like, how much do they get? Hey, man, $20 is $20. That's exactly right, man. Wow. You know? Wow.
So the network included facilitators who oversaw the alleged scheme, identified foreigners, recruiters, who found willing American citizens, like yourself, and helped to ensure their continued participation and assistance who prepared immigration paperwork and coordinated the submission of green card applications. So this sounds like there's some coordination on the China end of this. Oh, really? Yes, really. Yeah. So I'm going to be honest with you. So at the end of this, no, at the end of next month, I have to build a new retaining wall that's going to cost about $18,000. Oh, you could make some mullah here. Do you think, do you think Amy would be cool if we got like a quickie divorce? I can go out to New York. Find a Chinese woman who wants citizenship, marry, get the $100,000, do a quickie divorce, then come back and pay for the retaining wall? And remarry, Amy? You know, that's all based on she might maybe marry me again for a second time. Well, I think what she might maybe do is turn you into authorities and then kick you out. And take all the rest of your money. So, okay, you can stop now. The people that do this, should they be sent to jail? Like the people that are that are frauding, like are they being sent to jail or what? Well, they've been charged. So I, you know, who knows where it goes from here. What do you think they ought to get, Sam? I mean. Something like, white collar crimes, I'm typically a fan of probation for something like that. That's what this be considered white collar crime. No one's really being hurt. You're doing it for the money. I disagree completely. Go get him, Joan. Go get him, Joan. Of America. Oh, it is. Absolutely. It is. But I'm talking, no one, no one suffered any immediate physical bodily injury. It's what I'm talking about when you take it up with the criminal aspect of something. If someone, you know, if you have a DUI and it results in a manslaughter case, yeah, you should go to prison. But. you know, defrauding the government and put you on a watch list, monitor your internet activity and house arrest. Sam, the Constitution is the victim here. Deport, deport, deport. Sam just rolled his eyes at me, Joan. Wow. Sam, Sam is rolling his eyes at our sovereignty. You think that was the first time? Listen, the institution of marriage has already been desecrated by the government in this country in the first place. Shut up, John. And that goes back to two wrongs. Don't make it right. Oh, really? You need to stop. Lord. You know what? I love 5686. Exiled them back to China. Yeah. Yes, for sure. Take Francesca Hong with you, too. She's Korean, Joan. I'm sorry. 3308, do they get to consummate their marriage? Oof. Is that part of the 100,000? You know what? Ah. Okay. I can't. If it's me, if it's me another five grand, you don't have to consummate the marriage. Another five? Yeah. Okay. Is it a marriage if it's not consummated? Nope. Said every man involved in this deal. You know, it's not a marriage if it's not consummated. I go by the biblical definition.
So, 5396, so Sam, are you going to be soft on crime? Like these judges then? I think he might be. I think this is one of the first times that the Supertext line has very much turned on Sam. People are gullible. People are susceptible. I'm sure that when they were lured into this deal. What would you do if your online store converted 36% more shoppers? You could take 36% more vacation. Start your day with the morning jolt of Drake Toll. Anywhere in the country. Your home for talking sports. The United States hockey team has four teeth left. What is LeBron James Legacy? Leonel Mess. 906 career goals is stupid. All of it. The Knicks. The Los Angeles Lakers. Aaron Rogers. Georgia football players. The Dolphins. The Mets. As it happened, when it happened. We'll talk all of it. Westwood One Sports Talk. Your home for Drake Toll. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. It was more than likely for some of them. Their first time ever committing a crime. I believe in some leniency to a degree, and I don't think white-collar crimes are the end of the world compared to... By the way, in all seriousness, this could also be human trafficking. Like they may be bringing some of these people in it. Maybe, just maybe. I'm talking about, they might be bringing some of these people in here. I'm talking about the citizens. I'm talking about the, I don't, I would not expect them to be participants in that. I would say the Chinese mafia 100% would be participating in that. It's what they do. So, yeah. I mean, and if you're. You know what? They're probably doing this to try and circumvent the new executive order on birth toism, right? Yeah. So, I mean, it's kind of part of that whole thing. The government has this new focus on cracking down on fraud. So they're going after the fraud marriages and they're going after the birth tourism fraud because that is also a fraud. Dan, you don't get the whole 100K. You only get 30K. The arrangers get most of the debt. Yes. Oh, right. I had 30K still covers a retaining wall. That would cover the retaining wall. It would have 12 grand left over. I mean, literally, if it's all you have to do is show up to a Chinese restaurant, listen, I'll bring some fortune cookies back from Marsha Blackburn. You walk in and they've got the menu up, you know how they have it up on the wall and everything with the lights behind it. Yeah. Do I want a number one, number two, or a Mei Ling? Robert says, I agree if you're going to go to jail, at least consummate the marriage. You ain't going to get them when you get there, hopefully. She has missed my joke about Marsha Blackburn and the fortune cookies? No, we didn't miss it. I said I could get, whatever. It's like when I see a stick in the yard and I run over it with the mower. I didn't miss it. I saw it was there. Is there a catalog you can pick from? Is it seasonal? Well, no, they would have to. I don't, why I'm interested in this, I don't know. But listen. I could play some audio from Marsha Blackburn on Matt's show from yesterday because I've got it. You want me to play that? I can. No, no. No, I'm just asking a question. Like, how long do they... Sam, can you chat GPT this? All right. So how long do they have to stay married? And if you get caught, you know, people are saying they should send both people back to China. What they should do. Yeah, actually, that would be a funny punishment for the American citizen. It would be. To China, you go. You know, you're going to have fun in China. By the way, a lot of these people, maybe they're spies. They could be spies too. So you have that as well. Joan, somebody's asking, 8114, horrible backup on 24 East. Any ideas why? Yeah, 24 East where?
I have 24 Easton Jolton, a crash at Harper Road Overpass, 24 westbound side at Medical Center Parkway. That's where two left lanes are blocked off by a crash. It could be that other people are, you know, looking at that crash. Okay. All right. Yeah, I mean. We're beyond the traffic report. So what's going on to traffic? Anything good or bad? Yeah, there's a lot bad, actually. Okay, go ahead. Yeah, so at Harding Place in Antioch, you've got a crash west of Antioch Pike. There's that crash in Jolton. It's on 24 eastbound at Harper Road Overpass, Hermitage 40 westbound before Stewart's Ferry Pike. That's a crash team as well. The big trouble is on 24 westbound in Murfreesboro at Medical Center Parkway, a crash that takes out two left lanes. So you've only got the right lanes to get around it. That may be causing the big delays this morning. Forest Hills, Old Hickory Boulevard. west of Hillsborough Pike. There's a crash. There's one on 65 southbound in Madison. The off-ramp right shoulder is blocked off at Briley Parkway. One on Murphy'sboro Pike in Priest Lake at Edge O Lake Drive. Wow, that's a lot. All right, thank you, Joan. It's going to be very hot today, as a matter of fact. By the way, supertext line on this is funny as I'll get out. Yeah. It's not, by the way, as someone texted it, that was not my Chinese accent. It was an excerpt from South Park. As far as your weather goes for today, sunny, high of 96, going to feel like 110. My Chinese accent is way more racist. So, 6707. I can so relate to this. 67. You know, it's so funny when I say things like that. I try to say it like low so people won't hear what I'm actually saying. 6707. So wait, marrying a woman and getting $100,000 as opposed to marrying a woman and losing $100,000? Touch a nerve. Not me. Let's see here. What else? People are also saying, okay, so what is the difference between this and mail order brides? Well, the difference between this and mail order brides is at least mail order brides. That is a sincere marriage. Is it not? Sometimes? Yeah. I mean, you... I have a member of my extended family who has a Russian wife. It's a very interesting situation. Mail order? I don't know. I'm not going ever going to ask him. They're about 25 years apart. Well, did they just get married? No, no, no. They've been married for a while. I mean, it's been going on for a while. But it's, yeah. Are they happier? Does she have like, like, help me stamped to her forehead? They've, they've had kids. They have, they've had like six kids. So they're happy, but it's, it's kind of a. It's more of a personal choice, I guess, rather than an organized crime ring, which would be... Exactly. I tried to AI it for you, by the way, on how long you have to stay married to avoid detection if it's fraud. Yeah. The answer I got, well, no, I will not provide any advice timelines or tips on how I can see a marriage fraud. Hey, listen, my son is married to a girl who is born in China. I'm sorry, I'm wrong. She's Chinese. She was born here, but she's Chinese. And so, you know, not all Chinese marriages are scams. I just, I felt the need to say that because a couple of people are accusing me of whatever being racist. And there's your, there's your, why are you, why would, why? We're talking about a news story. I know. We wouldn't care if they were Russian nationals or Canadian nationals or Mexican national. It doesn't matter. It's the fact that they belong and have loyalty to another country. Well, it's dishonest. Yeah. They're, they're getting married.
to skirt our immigration laws. And that's different than actual traditional marriage. 100%. Oh, there's that too. Oh, hey, Joan. Listen, Sam getting all incredulous all of a sudden. I know. Suddenly, Sam is like, oh, this is horrifying. When just a scant seven minutes ago, you're like, oh, it's a white-collar crime. And it's just fine, no problem at all. I'm not saying it's fine, no problem at all. I just say, do you really want to put those people in prison? A mail order bride is a marriage out of desperation. White-collar crime is just skims the surface. Did Joan say she was Wong? No, no, no. TB says this. If you get married in a Chinese restaurant in two hours, you just want to get married again. Okay, that's good. That's funny. Well done, TB. All right, I guess we're done with this topic. Was this a racist? I don't think this was a racist topic, was it? No. Because it wouldn't matter. It wouldn't matter. I don't know why people are calling Joan racist. I know. I mean, welcome to talk radio, Joan. Of course, you know that. Yeah. Yeah. But, you know. Is it the two Wong's joke? Is that what? Whatever. Moving right along. You know what? I have no choice, Joan. but to play some Marsha Blackburn audio on Matt's show from yesterday. And I got, listen, I like Marsha Blackburn. People have been crucifying me for like months on this. But Matt did have Marsha Blackburn on. He asked her about her decision not to debate. My question for you is, do you understand the people that are frustrated that you chose not to do that at least? And can you help us understand why you made that decision? Sure. Absolutely. And every campaign, every candidate makes a decision about what is going to be the best use of their time and how they're going to be able to contact the most people and talk with the most people, the largest number of people. And for us, Matt, it was being in personal contact with people. Putting our emphasis there, as you know, we had a very strong grassroots effort, knocking on doors, making those phone calls. We had lots of people that were working polls with us, and that's a choice that every candidate has to make. All right. So, I mean, I at least appreciate. that she didn't, now that the primary is over, I appreciate the fact that she didn't just say again what she told everybody, which is I'm talking to Tennesseans every day. They made a decision. And remember, I've been saying this for how long?
She's leading in the polls. She was leading in the polls. And when you are leading in the polls, you don't necessarily have to go out and debate. And that was the decision that they made. And by the way, it's clear that she made the right decision because she won the primary. You can ask the same question 15 different ways. The answer ultimately is always going to be the same. It's clear that she decided that she didn't have to debate and she didn't win a debate. And that's fine. And what I said at the time, if you don't want, if you don't want to vote for her based on the fact that she didn't want a debate, they don't vote for. They, they, they work that into whatever equation they had. Would I have liked the debate? Sure. I'm bored of the topic. Moving right along. Let's see here. And here's the deal. As I said, you can ask the same question 15 different ways. And the answer, people are not going to be happy with whatever her answer is. That's the thing. The reality is, that's her answer. She was talking to Tennesseans every day and she felt like it wasn't worth her time to debate. That's it. She also spoke about debating Jerry Green, by the way, the Democrat candidate. And what we will do is look at what is in front of us. You know, there's a lot of people. There's a Democrat, and I think about 10 independents that are on the ballot in November. But let me tell you about the Democrat candidate. This is somebody who is a leftist. They are very much in line with this far left agenda. They're a radical. What we have seen from these DSA campaigns, is that they would destroy the country. They would destroy our state. And people in Tennessee don't want that. So we're going to be working double-triple overtime, making certain that our message is out there. that people recall that I stop that state income tax. That is a big reason that our state has been as economically successful as it has been. And so we'll be out here working every single day, just like we were in the primary. Yeah, and one of the things that people have said to me is you always have to, even if you're favored, You always got a campaign like you're, you know, 10 points behind. Jerry Green, by the way, is progressive. She's pro-choice. You see what they did in Massachusetts, Joe? Do we talk about this? I don't know. I know I talked about it off the air, but in Massachusetts this week, literally no limits on abortion. Yes, like right up to the moment of birth. No gestational limits, meaning they can have an abortion right up until the, yeah, it's, it's. And everybody's standing around or clapping, like. It's horrifying. Hey, yay, we get to kill babies. That's great. So Jerry Green has said that she wants to repeal our near ban on abortion here in the state of Tennessee. So.
My question would be, are there any limits to abortion for you, Jerry Green? Because that is clear. Do you remember when the Democrats were like, oh, that's not what we want to do? Remember that whole thing? I do. And people like me were like, you do. You literally, that's what you wanted to do. I think it was in New York. And so now they're doing it in Massachusetts for the state law there. Well, their whole thing is slippery slope that, you know, you give them an inch to take a mile, right? All we want to do is get married. Now it's, all we want to do is read this really inappropriate book to your child while dressed up as the opposite sex. Yeah. She wants red flag laws. She wants to expand Medicaid. She wants to... Let's see here. Spend more money on housing and social programs. We shouldn't cooperate with ICE. Eliminate the death penalty. Eliminate the death penalty. She would want to turn Tennessee into a sanctuary state. You know, all the progressive things. And so I guess my question is, do I have to spend? This is actually a legit question, Joan. How much time do I have to spend on Jerry Green? Like, do I have to do this like bang every day talking about Jerry Green and how she's a progressive? We all know. We all know. But I think it's worth it to make sure that you talk about it. Even if she claims to be a moderate progressive, you can't trust them. Oh, for sure. So. That whole moderate thing. Oh, that's such a ruse. Hey, hold on. Pause that real quick. So I think that what I need, Joan, back me up on this, because I think you probably need it too. I think what we need is we need an official hip-hop interpreter. Because I didn't even understand that first line. So back it up to the first line, just very quickly, because I'm going to do this for like one line. What is it exactly that this person says? Now, wait, let me try it first. This is Mac Miller, by the way. Yeah, okay, sure. So go ahead and play it. Oh, hold on, that's done. Hey, Sav, what up, bra. Hey, Sav, what's good, bra? What's good? What's good, bra? What's good bra? Okay. Okay. Yep. Here for the next line? Because it's not even a lyric in the song. It's just him introing the studio. Should we try? It's just a little ad libs. Joan, should we try one more line? Let's see if Joan can... She stepped out. Joan stepped out? Okay. You know what? Do you know why Joan stepped out because this music made her sick? You know, listen, if we're going to do hip-hop interpretations, pull up some Twista or something. Let's make it a little bit more difficult on Mandis. By the way. Twister or Tech 9. Oh, no, do Twista. How about we don't? Do like Celebrity Overnight. No, we're not going to do that. See how Dan feels about that. You know what? No, I think we should.
I really don't. You opened up the can of worms. Pandora's box did I? Now you're saying there's worms everywhere, let's stop. But you open the worms. Did I open the worms? The worms are now open. The worms are now open. That damn worms. And we got to put them on a hook, Dan. Hold on. Wait, wait, wait. Right here. Tell me what he says. No, no, go to the, go to like the verse of Twista. Okay, no, no, no, hold on, hold on. My ears are bleeding. Sam is pulling up the wrong part. Oh, now Joan is here. Where were you when I needed you? Dan was opening cans of worms, Joan. I was. Go to the twist of verse and then have Dan decipher what he says. Because, no, you're still on the hook, this guy. Huh? He's still on the hook. Yeah, I don't, I don't like this. I don't like this. Do you want to get back to marrying Asian women for money? Yes, that'd be great. Because you know what, I've got a problem with TB. So Joan, I'm sure you're... Tuberculosis? No. Well, probably that too. No. TB has insulted my character. Oh, no. How dare you? He says it, Joan. If he was in glove slap and reach, you might challenge him to a duel. How dare you? That's exactly right. TB says, Joan, you're an outstanding individual with more character than ten Dan Sullivan. Wow. Ten Dan? That's a lot of Dan. That's a lot of Dan. I say four. I would, yeah, I would put, I would put it in like three and a half. Excuse me. Wouldn't it be like 20? Come on, guys. Oh, you know what? First of all. This is the arrogance of Joan Jay Jones on full display. You know what, Joan, maybe you don't have the character that TB thinks because you're awfully arrogant over there. 5688. I swear I can smell the weed just listening to that crap. Honestly, that stuff is awful. Are you sure you're not driving down Broadway? Listen, the text line split. We got some people that understand Luciano with Twista, adrenaline rush. All right. 9421, shouting out Tech 9. We're diverse community here. We are. 9311. Thank you for being cultured, Chris. More of this torture for Dan. Who's the best speed rapper, in your opinion, Dan? Is it Busta Rhymes, Tech Nine, or Twista? Is there a D? Because when all those were playing... I was listening to probably Chicago or air supply during my time. I'm all out of love. Yeah. Or maybe Joan was listening to Phil Susan Collins. So, you know, personally, I avoided that stuff like tuberculosis and now TB. Original machine gun Kelly could spit fast before M&M. Machine Gun Kelly. Do you know what I know about Machine Gun Kelly? Tell us, Dan. He and his wife, he and his wife used to drink blood. Ew. I know. Super spooky. Super spooky. His wife is Megan Fox. Megan Fox. Yeah. So. Please remake Transformers. Yeah. People would be selling their soul. Yeah. I mean, she, they would. Are they still married? No. No. Of course not. So they would. I guess he found Christianity. So they would actually.
they would actually drink each other's blood. Yeah. Like... Spooky. It's called bloodletting. Wait, didn't Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton do the same thing? Or did they just have it in vials around their neck? Like, was that... I think that was just a vials thing. Okay. It's just so weird. Yeah. When the moments in your life are too important to miss... NF is in my playlist. In fact, it's one of my boys' walk-up songs. Is it? Yep. Okay. He doesn't swear in his music. You need a walk-up song for your show. I do. What are you talking about? Have you heard my intros? When do you want again? Whoa. I thought that, okay, so that's an actual song that... Good morning? Good morning? Yeah. Oh, is it really? Yes, they all are. Oh, okay, good. I didn't know. Whatever. Good for you. Hey, should we? It wasn't a speed rapper song, so I wouldn't expect you to know it. Well, your intro isn't exactly speed rapping. No, I know. That's what I'm saying. Anyway, today apparently is Pink Day at the radio station because you, me, and Joan, all wearing pink. This is more of orange. Is that right? I think so. I don't know. That's what the life said. Is it like a salmon color? You know what's funny? This morning when I was looking at the shirts and my wife said, I wear this one, I did have an irrational fear that I might come in here and you'd be wearing the same thing. I don't have one of those. Good. But we're dressed very similarly today. People asking if I'm going to have Jerry Green on? I would love to have Jerry Green on. If anybody is personal friends with her, let her know that I would love to have her in the studio. She might even win my vote, Dan. Yeah, she could win your vote. That's what I would say. You know what? She could win my vote too. Come on, win me over. Mm-hmm. What is it? One tough mama? Is that what her thing is? One tough mother. One tough mother. You know, Chris, what we say about that, Jerry Green.
She's one tough mother. And so if she wants to come on your show or my show or, you know, Murphy's show, yeah, we'd love to have her on. Put your money where you're about this. How tough are you? It's exactly right. Now, now, and I'm not hating on Chad, but Chad loved, what was her name? Afton Bain. Afton Bain. Yeah. Chad loved Afton Bain. He supported her, I guess, whatever. So, I mean, you know. But you think Chad's going to vote for Jerry Green? One Tough Mother? I think that's a Chad question. Yeah? I don't know. I'm just curious. Hold on. I'm finding Jerry Green. I'm going to slide into her DMs. Are you going to slide into her DMs? Is that? It's slide. What did I say earlier? You said slipping. He said, I want to skip into her DMs turned off. Are you kidding me? Well, that doesn't sound very, that doesn't sound very tough. She probably has her mentions turned off too. That's not very inclusive. She only has 5,000 followers on X. I've got more than that. You do. 5727 says Dan takes strays like a champ. What does that mean? Catching strays? I don't know what that means. Like if you get caught near a drive-by and you catch a stray. Okay. Yep. It's where a verbal jab comes out of nowhere and lands you on the cheek. Jeff says, afton bane, often vain. That's good, actually. Well done. I'm still mad at TB for saying that I have no character. 9538 has asked again, y'all sipping on Zizzard or no? No, we're not. We're just naturally this happy. I'm always happy. I had to explain to Dan what Zizzard was. Especially when I see Chris, because that means I'm almost done. Do you know who else is always naturally happy? Who? Abdul Rahman Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed. So you're going to do the whole full name thing? Keep your name out your mouth. So he's got, we've got some video here. Okay, so back the truck up a minute. Everybody's like, did you see CNN? They're like, hmm, are you just saying that to go wink, wink, he's Muslim, hmm? And then there's an interview on Meet the Press where Abdul Rahman Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed says Barack Hussein Obama. And I thought to myself, are you just saying that to remind people he's Muslim? Well, he did the cringiest thing. I already thought. that he should be nowhere near the U.S. Senate. But after seeing this video, I don't think he should be allowed near a school zone. Here's the mail. It never fails. It makes me want to whack my tail. When it comes, I want to wail.
So what is this? Oh my gosh. This is a blues clues parody. So he did a blue, just people listening on the radio. So he is dressed up as, like Steve from blues clues from blues clues and he's in the blues clues environment. It's the blues clues mansion. And he's like dancing. You know what the mail is, right? Thanks, mailbox. It's his ballot. Is that what it is, his ballot? Okay. Should I go play this? Oh, you should. We just got a letter. We just got a letter. We just got a letter. We just got a letter. I wonder who it's from. You know, you would be stoned to death for doing this in majority Muslim countries. You probably would. Music is wrong. It looks like my ballot. Brought to me by my secretary of state. And with it, I can participate in democracy. The first day that I can turn this in is June 25th, but it has to be postmarked by July 21st. That is very strange. It is so odd that this, I mean, he's unsurious. The Senate is the great deliberating body, and this man is doing blues clues. And he does blues clues, but he also still lives by Sharia law in his private life. Yeah. Does he? Yes. Yeah. No, he doesn't. I have it. Breitbart has the article. We got time for it. He lives in Sharia law in his private life. Abdul El-Sayed's campaign confirmed the Democrat Senate nominee. He still complies with Sharia law in his personal life after resurfaced 2009 comments in which he described following it as a lifelong obligation. Abdul El-Sayed made the remarks to the New York Times in 2009 when the Times identified him as a 24-year-old medical student and Rhodes Scholar who had taken out a Sharia-compliant mortgage to buy a $123,000 condominium in Ann Arbor. The Washington Free Beacon first reported on the unearthed interview. Campaign spokesman, Roxy Richner. confirmed the free beacon that Abdul El-Sayed continues to live by his faith. What's a Sharia compliant mortgage? Yeah, good question. Does it say that women will not have opinions on this property? They're definitely not on the deed. If women walk onto the property, they've got to have head to toe. Covered head to toe. And if they don't, you can stone them. That's exactly. There's a lot. You know what? The second stoning comments. We should probably stop. We should probably stop. You know, it's actually full circle because we started with the hip hop. Yeah. You know? Yeah. A lot of people being stoned. And then we went to Abdul Rahman Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed. A Sharia-compliant mortgage, also called an Islamic mortgage, a halal.
Halal mortgage. Wow. Is a home financing arrangement designed to follow Islamic law, which prohibits Riba, which is interest. What? I don't want a Sharia-compliant mortgage. Are you kidding me? What the hell? I want to live by that. I'll put the burq on. Seriously. Somebody find Jonah Burka. There's your promo for the morning show. You know that, right? Oh, man. Okay, good. How do you, so what do I have to do? Like seriously, like seriously, so they, so Muslims get, if there's Sharia, they get interest-free loans. I'm for homes. It's not just for homes. So immediately my brain went and flipped a switch. There's also Sharia-compliant investments. What? I love Muslims now. Let's go. Like, that's-Islamic mutual funds and EFTs, professionally managed funds. Wow. What? What? Oh, my God. Where can I order a Quran? I don't know, Jake. Jake Lang was in town handing him out for people to set on fire the other day. I've always hated bacon. Shut up. You don't mean that. You don't mean that at all. Listen, if it means interest-free home mortgages, absolutely. That is absurd. That is BS. Anyone can typically apply for these products in many markets. You know, we could probably sue them for discrimination if they would deny us. Though they are primarily designed for those seeking compliance with Islamic principles. Now, can I identify as a Muslim? Yes. How is that an Islamic principle? If everybody can... And then you don't have to divorce, Amy, when you go marry your Asian wife. You can have as many wives as you want. Exactly. You know what? I could go to New York. I could go into that Chinese restaurant. I could marry multiple... I could marry up to like 10 Chinese women and get a million dollars. Two birds getting stoned with one stone. Okay, this is terrible. We've got to move on. What? This is a real story. No, it is a real story. That's absurd. Well, so is the marrying the Chinese ladies. Yes. So, you know, there you go. You wouldn't hear any of this kind of stuff on Bobby Bones. No, no, you wouldn't. I'm like angry, and my interest rate is super low. I feel like I'm going to look into this. And then... If there's any lawyers in the Nashville area that want to work for free, let me know. TB says, who gives out these loans, American banks? TB, I'm not talking to you because you said that I had no character. Yeah, TB. TB, you're on like quadruple secret, not so secret probation with me. He's going to wear that like a badge of honor. Oh, I know. I know. People love to hate me, which is all good and well. Yeah, if American banks. Give these loans. There's a problem. There are a few. Guidance Residentials, the largest provider by volume in the U.S., operating in over 35 states. Then there's other two that have Islam in the name. Devon Bank, or Devon Bank, a community bank providing custom, faith-based residential and commercial property. So it's also for commercial properties, too. That's ridiculous. Stearns Bank. What kind of commercial properties? I bet some leering centers.
All right, we're running late, I believe. You can literally get one in Murphreysboro. You know what? Somebody's got, okay. Sharia compliant, Islamic halal home financing is available in the Nashville area. Guidance residential on Medical Center Parkway in Murphysboro. So somebody's got to be the test case for this. Like, I'm serious. Who can we get to walk in there and say, I want a Sharia loan? which has no interest. No interest. I would literally put Virginia in a burqa today. That would be awesome. And then we should do hidden cameras. Where's James O'Keefe? I want to actually, I'll text my guy that knows James O'Keefe. I have a guy that works for him. I bet he would love that. I love when Chris name drops. I don't mean to. I'm just literally doing it right now. No. Somebody else says it's also used for car loans. Are you kidding me? Yep. Don't wonder people come in here end up with nicer lives than those who have lived here their whole lives. That's exactly right. Start your day with the morning jolt of Drake C. Toll.
