At least three people are dead after dangerous storms swept through the Midwest yesterday. Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has defeated State Representative Francesca Hong. There will be a Thanksgiving after all for Wisconsin and America. And NBC News projects that the Republican Senator, Darlene Graham, sister of the late Lindsey Graham, will face Congressman Ralph Norman in South Carolina and the Republican Senate runoff. We'll have more analysis from David Sinati and moments from now.

It knows exactly what I want. So it's golf lesson after golf lesson after golf lesson. And they get me for an hour. Now, I used to always say, that's no different than what we did as program directors. But you could say, well, it's up to the parents or it's up to the kids. They make these choices. Well, that's what we said about cigarettes too. And you don't see commercials in magazines and you don't see commercials on television anymore for them. None of that happening for online. Didn't the president, by the way, just lift the band on TikTok for federal? devices? On federal devices, yes. Well, now that it's a domestically owned company, that was the... We think. All right. Rory, we'll have more in the third hour. We're going to come back and talk a little bit about if there's any progress towards peace in Iran, but I think we know we have the answer to that. David, obviously the two big news is, our Darlene Graham is headed to a runoff in South Carolina, and Francesca Hong is gone, and the polls couldn't have been more wrong. I'm out of Rhymes. Good morning, Michael. On Buster Rhymes birthday. Yeah, yeah, there's a lot in these headlines that confirms the reality that all politics is local. The races that were determined in Wisconsin and Minnesota are races that are important and races to watch. But they don't change the reality that those states are very different from one another. One is by and large bond. in regards to common sense and constitutional authority and what's left, the people that are voting the power in Minnesota are in a bad way. Now, it doesn't mean everybody's gone. We've got great listeners there. We've got great listeners in Wisconsin, and people are struggling mightily, just that they are in New York and Illinois. But there is a consensus of people who are showing up to vote in the Democratic establishment that basically want revolution. And this is their sport right now. And in Minnesota, they're doing very, very well. So it doesn't really matter. I like how it always matters. But what I'm saying is that the primary is pretty much the general in this case. Wisconsin's different. There's still a contest going in Wisconsin. Right. Well, listen, I've said this about El Sayed and Michigan. Remember, Michigan, why am I getting that, by the way? Oh, is it his, do you have your phone up or your radio up in your car or something? No, sir. I don't know how I'm getting myself back. Yeah, it's driving me nuts. All right, anyway, to make my point, Elsa, don't forget President Trump carried Michigan and Wisconsin. And this is the Democrats way of trying to say, we're not going to be purple anymore. We're not going to let the Republicans turn our state purple. We're going back blue. And the way we're going back blue is far woke, far socialist, far, far left. And it seems to be backfiring. And Abdul El-Sayed's case, I think he's got a real problem come general election. The numbers don't add up unless he converts everyone that voted against him for him. And even then it'll be tight. And I think I could say the same for what is going to be faced.

in Wisconsin. I mean, yeah, Francesca Hong lost, but nobody's noticing. that Tom Tiffany had nearly 500,000 votes. I mean, they're going to have to unite that Democrat Party if they're going to win the general. It's looking like a lot of socials primary wins and then a lot of general election losses are on the horizon. It's going to be my point, fighting over. And it's a fair point. There's another one I think we want to add into the conversation, and that for the Democratic Socialists, it actually is not as important that they win. the elections is that they win the debate and they're on a long-term journey here and if the people who disagree with them can't make better arguments than them then they're going to win because they're going to be around for a while so this is the concern that we have is is that have we lost the base of understanding of what it means to be an american and how our country works and are these people exploiting the fact that the voters don't have a knowledge base left any chance david that maybe the democrats are not fighting back against this socialist, Islamist fight because they wanted to die by light of day and then turn around because the presidency is more important and bring sensibility with Rahm Emanuel and their bait and switch and get away with it. You're asking the right question once again, and I can't tell you with absolute certainty that I know what's left of what this idea of their Democrat leadership is. I honestly don't know. For at least the last 50 years, he who pays the Piper calls the tune, and it's been simply the people who pay for this. Well, the Democrat National Committee, the Democrat Party, is broke except for a few power bases who seem to be not saying much right now. The question's going to be, where's their money? I think your good guess is that their money's going to be Rahm Emanuel and save the party and save the country and present themselves suddenly as moderate. Today, their moderation is still extreme. But the question is, is that money even going to play? Do we know? Senior contributor David Sinati is joining us. We're going over the election results from the primary Tuesday. The big one, of course, the governor's race in Wisconsin, where Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, who in the polls was supposed to come in at 7% of the vote. She was supposed to win by 22%, meaning Francesca Hong. She ends up losing to Crowley. They will go on to face Tom Tiffany and Darlene Graham headed to a runoff in South Carolina against Representative Ralph Norman. That's the two biggest. results. Minnesota did have some socialist wins. David, I want to end with what you just brought up. They seemingly have a DNC chair change coming. They are broke. The turnouts have been very low and very narrow victories for the socialists. Now when turnout is in the spotlight in the general, they have no money.

and now they'll face tough Republican opponents. This whole socialist movement may have been a little bit too fast, too quick. It's going to backfire. Yeah, and it's a moment of the decision for the people who fund the Democrat Party. Are they ready to push everything to get their agenda farther down the line and fail? Or are they going to take their time? It's a tough question. And there's no indication that the moment of decision hasn't been made yet. Well, remember, the Democrats, the Democrat Socialist's first goal is to take over the Democrat Party, then get rid of the electoral college, then dismantle the Republic. So they are making a run to take over the Democrat Party. If the Democrats pull a fourth bait and switch with Rom Emanuel, as they did with Bernie Sanders twice and with Kamala Harris the third time over Joe Biden. They have still ginned up enough followers to disrupt and create quite an violent insurrection, which is what they had planned, we forget, in 2020 if the old Joe didn't work. So there is that to keep in mind, too, in an uncertain future. Final thought is this, they may have so succeeded in polarizing themselves in tribalism. that the people with the money don't know who to back because they don't want to be called racist or they don't want to be called sexist or they don't want to be called Islamophob themselves. So maybe their own strategy has made life very difficult for them. Well, for the moment, the establishment Democrat empire has struck back in Wisconsin anyway. The latest polls give Crowley a 3,000 vote lead over Hong. Crowley will now face Republican Tom Tiffany in the November general election. Crowley's a Milwaukee County executive who had the backing of retiring Governor Tony Evers, who had argued that Crowley offered the best chance of delivering in November. I'm Tammy Trujillo. NBC News projects Republican Senator Darlene Graham, the sister of the late Lindsey Graham, will face Congressman Ralph Norman in South Carolina's Republican Senate primary runoff. Darlene Graham was appointed to the seat after the passing of her brother, Senator Lindsey Graham. She has the backing of President Trump. Wisconsin dodged one for sure. Did they? Rick writes, so was something up with the polling or did the DNC intervene to save democracy again with ballot stuffing, mail-in voting for mysterious people? That is probably the story of the day for all the attention, but never mind that, that can be just the medium. The polling suggested that Francesca Hong on August 5th was the last poll, was going to win by 22% and she lost. The Polly Market heading into Election Day had her winning at 98%.

had her opponent at 2%. The reality, she loses. What does it mean? What do you make of these election results or what should we make of it? Well, it depends where you're looking at. You focused in your introduction on Wisconsin, and I think that the voters of Wisconsin in choosing a person who was not Ms. Hong wanted to focus on electability, the person they believe can best win the governor's mansion in November. And it wasn't Ms. Hong. And the reason I say that, look who did not endorse Hong. It was Bernie Sanders who said, I'm not endorsing her. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, I'm not endorsing her because they realized that. This party, the Democratic Party, is being painted with this broad brush of Democratic socialists. They don't want that if they want to win elections. So you could make the case and you're wise to do it because you've been covering this stuff for 30 years. You don't do politics normally, but you're wise to point this out. Abdul El-Sayed may have played a role in this. They can't have her plus Abdul El-Sayed set the narrative heading into the general. It would have been too dangerous. Oh, I agree with you 100%, you know, as it relates to that race for the U.S. Senate in Michigan, Democrats chose someone who's got a lot of baggage, a lot of baggage in terms of what he's posted on social media. I think he's actually deleted 100 videos on social media. That tells you a lot about how even he recognizes he's got a lot of baggage heading into that general election to win that open Senate seat in Michigan. And for Democrats, they see what was happening in Michigan. And they did not, as you point out, Michael, want a repeat of that happening in Wisconsin. Yeah, I should say to be accurate, Graham Platner plus Abdul El-Sayed plus Hong would have been too much. It's still a problem moving forward for them. You said something the other day, and it stuck with me. And watching her last night in her speech after. achieving a runoff and that's what darling graham the sister of the late Lindsey Graham will face a runoff with representative Ralph Norman in south carolina it is shocking she's just the sister of a senator man it's like she's been doing it her entire life polished Yeah, she's polished. You know, the president, when we returned back on Air Force One to Andrew's Air Force Base, answered a few questions. It took a number of questions for me, and I asked him about the race. And he said, it's just genetic, you know, as it relates to Darling Graham. I was asking him about that race in particular. He told me, by the way, that he intends to go down to South Carolina to campaign for her before that runoff election on August the 25th, so made some news there.

But, you know, look, I told you I was there last Monday for that debate. And she was going up against seasoned politicians. People have done this many times. And she held her own. And that says a lot. And she did get 30, I think 32% in a very crowded field. And you have to imagine I was thinking about what happens to that Congressman Frye who came in third place. Who does he endorse? He'd be foolish not to endorse Darlene Graham. And why do I say that? Because President Trump has endorsed Senator Graham. And you don't want to be on the wrong side of President Trump if you're a Republican and you want a future as a Republican in the Republican Party in South Carolina. Lindsey Graham was a great leader behind the scenes, a great fighter behind the scenes. He was a very influential senator. She's actually seems as polished as him only even more likable. If you can imagine. And then with Trump's backing and the party's backing, I would think she's in a pretty good position. But just to wrap it up because you said, Darling Graham ended up with 109,000 votes. Ralph Norman ended up with 82,000, Fry, 65,000, Mark Sanford, 50,000, Mark Lynch, 19,000, where they go and then higher turnout and the general election and the push of the president still to come. things look pretty favorable for her. The Socialists did get a win, a big win in Minnesota. Anything else on elections you want to bring up? No, I think that, you know, you look really what happened in South Carolina for Republicans and then what Democrats were doing in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, that tells you the whole story about the narratives for both parties heading into the general election. Obviously, you know what the narratives are going to be for Democrats. They're going to focus primarily on the issue of electability and for Republicans. They're going to focus on how far left. the Democratic Party has become and how that party cannot govern, whether it's in the Senate or whether it's statewide as governor, that will be the message that they will have for voters in November. John, you travel with the president. You did again yesterday. What do you make of all this conversation about trying to make a narrative out of the president's exit in proximity to Iran or who's more important, the president or others? I mean, don't we all understand if Secret Service has to make a call, the priority is the President always? Absolutely. You know, I mean, I get it. I get it why, you know, certain folks out there, pundits, you know, people who are activists are saying certain things about the President. If he is told to do something by the Secret Service, you don't have a choice. You don't have a choice. And so I knew when the President came out and spoke to us, he was going to essentially. say exactly what he said yesterday to the reporters, the small group of reporters that were gathered around him after he exited Air Force One. Not as surprised at all. The Secret Service is very much concerned about the president's safety. That is why the president switched to that third plane heading to the U.K. Well, you remember how we just said maybe El-Syad had more to do with Hong's loss last night than people think? I could say the same thing for JFK.

The Secret Service was greatly reshaped after losing JFK because JFK fought the Secret Service constantly. He chose to go to Tampa when they said they're going to try to assassinate you. He made them go anyway. Then he goes to Dallas, makes them go anyway. Remember all the things leading up to that, the treason posters, the, you know, spitting and so on. And the president insisted on going to Dallas, and he insisted on no top on the vehicle, and he's dead. They're not going to listen to presidents anymore. That was shaped during Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. I mean, the president can make objections, but they will physically remove him if he doesn't obey. So, I mean, I understand why people are bringing it up, but come on, this is like arguing the W and WNBA. It's just a no-brainer. The president doesn't have a choice. And they automatically do 10% unless you go in and find out a way to do it to no tip. You don't have the option to tip after the service is done. You have to tip based on the service they say you're going to get, which is most of the time not exactly accurate. Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder if we're supplementing salaries for these large companies. The problem is most of them use a third party to do these deliveries. I just had a nightmare with a major company. And I went ahead and canceled the order. But the delivery came with my refrigerator. refused to hook it up because a non-trained non-plumber said that the water connector had a leak and wasn't secure and he can't be responsible for the damages. Now, all three of the delivery people did not speak English. I'm not being racist. It was frustrating. They're handing me a phone to a bilingual person. I agreed with the bilingual person. I will release any damages, any liability. I'm looking at it. It's a pencil tip drip. Hook the freaking refrigerator up. The guy says, okay. And then they take my refrigerator anyway. Even with the plumber pulled into the driveway, I have a picture of them leaving with my refrigerator that I bought as the plumber is here. Sorry, we have a timeline, you know, and it was just absolutely ridiculous. And so they need to watch their third party people, obviously, because I may never do business with that company again, and I've spent hundreds of thousands of with them over my lifetime. But yeah, tip them for what? You don't know what's coming to your door. And I doubt it will ever be tipworthy. Don is listening in Indiana by way of Louisville. Good morning, Michael. I'm 73 years old and I have been contacted twice in my life for a poll. Twice. I don't know if they call in the middle of the day when working people are working. Well, yeah, primarily because that's when they're working, they call it all hours, but yeah, primarily they're targeting during the day and in the evening. The problem is they can't get a landline anymore because no one has one. And when they can't get people to respond, either because they don't trust them or they don't answer phones that they don't know who's calling.
