They come out with those lists of these albums that are they consider the greatest of all time. And sometimes this one shows up on it. I'm kind of surprised by them down again. Alex Ramando, there you are. Boston is just a great, no matter when they come on. Drilling it every time. And that sound and the vocals. They have one song, they go, dancing in the street and high antics. I always tell my friends, they're saying, hey, Alex. They're like, they're not singing to you. Good to see. Brian, welcome. It's good to have you here as well. I appreciate that. You guys are with the newest comedy club in Louisville. It's called the Comedy Spot. We're bringing it back, everybody. I mean, actually, there's a beautiful comedy club in Louisville, but we're bringing an option right in the heart of Middletown. At a classic bar, Mr. G's. Oh, okay. The first time I told people we were doing something with Mr. G's, and this is me three years ago, they go, I used to be nine and watch my dad get drunk in there. Because apparently it has a history of racing, horse racing. But anyway, Brian's the owner, and then he blew out the walls and made a showroom. And that's what we said. With a jackhammer? You one of those guys? You can tell jokes. You know what? It was a jackhammer. Yeah. Yes. That takes some masterful skills. I watched this guy install a sink yesterday, a three sink wash sink for the bar. This place is completely, the showroom's completely remodeled everybody. That's, you know, not just are we bringing the amazing comedy. We've put together a beautiful. atmosphere for a comedy show. Did I hear that Bob Zanis? Bob Zanis here this Friday and Saturday. I love that guy. Next week, D.C. Malone. I've got Vince Morris coming. I've got Brett Ernst from Cobra Kai coming. I know him, yeah. veteran comic of, no one on this lineup throughout the end of the year has less than 25 years of stand-up experience. These are all friends of mine. That's phenomenal. So what are we doing like Thursday, Friday, Saturday? What are we doing? Friday, Saturday. Friday, Saturday. But there's a Thursday night, open mic night. And that's being hosted by local comics. And we're trying to build a place that you can, and we're not trying to do 11 shows a week. You know, three shows a week. Open mic night, Thursday, 8 o'clock. Friday and Saturday, one show, national headliner, 8 o'clock. You're home by 930. You're home by 930. I love this. Also, I went to your website and it's got two great phrases. No drink minimum and free parking. There you go. Welcome to Louisville. We thought that was important. It is important. Because that's one of the hassles, you know, even coming to see you right now. I love coming to see you. You're my friend for decades now. But I come in and this is awesome. How do I get here? Yeah, you know, we're...

What floor are we on? I need a Sherpa guide to get to the studios. That was one of the big things when I was talking to Alex. He came three years ago. And I had started dabbling in comedy. And I was like, you know, we need to do this. There's nothing on the east end of town. There's a large crowd there in their 40s, 45, 50 years old. They can get up, park for free, come to show at 8, be home by 1015, and go to work next there, whatever they got to do. That's right. Yeah. And they don't have to worry about. Getting their cars, you know, broke into and just all the problems that you have parking in some of these places. Well, now that I'm there, there might be a problem with the partners where you're broken into, you know. Number one, tequila presents, I'm sure. Number one, tequila presents. That is your brand, your label, part of your personality. I love all that stuff, Alex. My croissant, you know. It's me bringing a little of Mexico, a beautiful part of Mexico, to Louisville, Kentucky. It's actually good. It's really good. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he knows. Terry does. We have. We have an interesting convention in town this week, so maybe you'll get some of these folks from Homeland Security. There's like 1,700 people here. I was there at their convention yesterday, and it runs through tomorrow. So maybe you'll have them here. Yeah, I'd love to see them. No ice, right? I'm good. Yeah, that's how you orders his drinks too. Unless they're Border Patrol. I'm out of their jurisdiction. Hey, by the way, if any of you are listening, come out, come out. We know the Deacon. That's right. Sneaking Deacon, Greg Gitcher. Yeah, he's probably part of that Homeland Security. A lot of people don't know this about me. I am an honorary police officer in nine cities and an honorary sheriff in Jefferson County. How about that? John Aubrey bestowed that to me. And when he did, he told me, he says, you're the fourth person I've done this one. This is 20-something years ago. Well, that's got to feel good. Oh, it feels great. And so I'm a big supporter of the police department and the military. They're going to love you. The late John Aubrey, just a phenomenal guy. Absolutely. The current sheriff, David James, is there yesterday too. Love that guy. He was one of the speakers at that convention. I think I outrank him, though. Do you? You want to try that on him? Because I'm honorary for 20 years. That's a lot of time. I'd like to hear what he has to say about that, as a matter of fact. It's called the comedy spot. It's called Mr. G's comedy spot. Mr. G's comedy spot in Louisville. And as I noted, no drink minimum. That's kind of nice. You don't have that pressure. And you know what? When you don't have any kind of pressure, you relax and you have a good time. I can't wait for people to see this atmosphere. And the food. We've got a good menu. And they've got a great menu. And, of course, we're slinging number one tequila drinks. You can have whatever you want to drink, but we've got suggestions for you. And I tell you, from the first time that I walked in your room, you know, I filled his room up three times. Yes, he has. And each time, the people that come to see me, they love it. But I got comments, and so we made the room better. We made it a comedy film. I love that. It's got a really, really good look.

And a great sound. You know, there's not one thing that I said to Brian that he would, first he went, we got it done. We got it done. That's the whole thing is it depends on where you are in the room as to how the thing is visually, but also how it sounds. There's not a bad seat. There's not a bad seat. During the sound check like we did it again today, there's not a spot in that room that doesn't sound exactly. There's no ups and downs moving throughout the room. It's the sounds perfect. It comes in. You're not going to miss it. You're going to hear everything said no matter where you're at. You're going to see everything no matter where you're at. Brian and I literally left like ladders, got off to come to see you. And then we're going back because we're working 24-7 until opening night. I love it. You are. You're amazing. You work all the time. All the time. I'm Mexican, dude. Come on. I was winning. I was teeing it up for you. I'm trimming my hedges right now. You don't know that. I teed it up for him. I knew he would take it. There you go. Yeah, number one tequila presenting Mr. G's comedy spot. It's going to be great. Every weekend, everybody. The club's here for you, Louisville. Thursday's open mic, what do you tell people who want to step up to an open mic who think, well, I might try this to just try for two minutes? I tell them. I tell them a couple things. One, I tell them, be prepared. Don't come up there thinking you're just going to wing it. Be prepared. Make sure you record yourself so you can study it because there's no way you'll remember what just happened. you know and at least you can you'll have some point of reference and then i say uh and don't suck don't suck that's the best advice yeah you know as always alex ramando the website is louisville comedy spot dot com we're excited your kind of partners with um iheart too absolutely absolutely you know you i have a long relationship with a lot of people here so Well, when I get out of my car in the parking garage, your name's all over Dwight's vehicle. And you know, Dwight's big supporter of not just me, but number one, tequila and everything. And Dwight, Dwight's going to be there as well. Of course. Dwight Witten. He's Sammy Hagar, but he's still shrinking too much. Now we're worried about him. He looks like Sammy Hagar. with a tick. You sent me some videos from Cabo, and I wrote him back. I can't focus on what you're saying. I'm staring at your abs. I know you're going with that for sure. At odd time. Brian and Alex, it's great to see both of you guys, and best of luck with a new comedy club. Hey, you know what, everybody? I'm going to say, come out. Come out this weekend, come out anytime we're there every single weekend and we're doing it for you. You go to the website and learn more or find other dates. You're saying, oh, my buddy's coming to town in a few weeks. Just match them up, pair them up with great talent that's coming to town. I see Tom Mabe on there too. I love that guy.
