This is the mayor of Santa Ana. I'm going to play this for you. It's less than two minutes. She was out on the street today. Her name is Valerie Emescua, and she did something that I have never, ever heard Karen Bass say or do. And it makes total sense. It's almost shocking. In fact, I had to, like, double and triple check that this was real. So listen to Santa Ana Mayor Valerie Emescua, what she put out on TikTok today. Hello, everybody. Good morning. I'm Valerie Omeskla. I'm the mayor of the city of San Ana. I'm out this morning with Santa Ana PD with our cult team, our quality of life team, teen challenge, Salvation Army. And what we're doing here today is we're. Working with those that are homeless on our streets, we're offering them services, whether it's detox, a shelter, a program. And if they refuse all the services, then they end up going to jail. And why are we doing that again? They do this every single month. And why? Because Sanana deserves a good quality of life, just like all the other cities around us. And I always say that. because it's very important that you can walk the streets, drive around, and just raise your family here without seeing all the stuff that's going on around our city with the unhoused. And so I just want to be really clear that, yes, Santa PD is working out here. I want to thank Orange PD for joining us, the California Highway Patrol as well. And you're asking, why do we do this? It's inhumane. No, it's actually good to take people off the streets. It's inhumane to leave them on the streets.

That is the key that we always have to remember. It is inhumane to leave them on the streets, whether they're laying in their feces or they're high or they're just, they just don't know what they're doing or how they're doing it. So we're here with this operation this morning. We'll have about 80 to 100 plus people that have been picked up, provided services, shelter, again, CityNet, Salvation Army, Teen Challenge. And I want to thank Santa Ana PD and thank Orange PD for coming out with us in the California Highway Patrol. tackling it at all ends with city partners. So thank you again. And I'm Valerie Musco. I'm the mayor. And we're going to keep doing this because your quality of life, my quality of life, and our children's quality of life. It matters. Thank you. And have a good day. Wasn't that shocking and incredible? This is Santa Ana. This is not Newport Beach or Dana Point or Irvine, where it's always civilized and the police always clean the homeless up off the street. This is Santa Ana. And even there, everybody's fed up, including the mayor. Did you hear the stuff she said? And she had to run a disclaimer, almost an apology, a disclaimer and explanation. Why are we doing this? You might be saying, isn't this inhumane? Nobody normal thinks that's inhumane. Nobody. You know what's a response to? The lunatic activists. who've taken over all the cities in Southern California and gotten inside the heads of all the politicians and intimidated them into thinking it's normal to say it's inhumane to pick up a homeless person who's laying in her feces, laying in his feces. Do you hear what she said? These are people laying in their feces. And the activists have been screaming, well, it's inhumane to force them to get treatment. What? You imagine? Imagine telling your parents that one day in America, a public official was going to have to almost apologize for picking up a guy who's laying in his own feces because others are saying it's inhumane. Boy, that's a moment where it should really hit home just how far we've gone. But that's what Valerie Emiska is doing is fantastic. And you're getting, she said you're getting choices. You're getting detox, which is, you know, drugs, alcohol, shelter, or a program, like a mental health program, whatever it is you need. And then if you don't go, she's going to put you in jail. There you go. That's it. That's it. That's what everybody ought to be doing. This is not radical. This is what was done for hundreds of years. This is what's done in thousands of cities across the country, except Los Angeles and a few other nut job places. What the hell? Did you hear who's joined her? Not only the Santa Ana PD, the Orange PD, and the California Highway Patrol, a joint effort. Here, no police department in Los Angeles is doing this or adjacent police department or the sheriff's department. Nobody. Nobody, because Karen Bass says no. Could we get Valerie Emesquita as mayor? How about Valerie Emescula instead of Nithya Raman Robin and Karen Bass?

Oh my God, look what she's doing. And then she goes on TikTok and puts out a video to let the world know. And then has to explain that, yeah, picking up a guy who's laying in his feces is not inhumane. Oh, what else did she say that was really radical? I couldn't believe this. I had to write all these notes down. That people in Santa Ana have the right to walk the streets and drive around without seeing this. No! Are you kidding me? Have you heard anybody in Los Angeles in politics in charge say that? Anybody? With very few exceptions, I haven't. Karen Bass has never uttered. That was a minute 44. That was a minute 44 of phrases and sentences and policies that has never come out of the mouth of Karen Bass. And as you're listening to it, it's like, well, yeah, absolutely. Of course. Why isn't everybody saying in doing this? Why is it? She's got to give an explanation out on TikTok because somebody might be mad, some lunatic activist who's otherwise unemployable and who's living off our tax money works for some corrupt criminal nonprofit. How did corrupt criminal people get in charge of the policy? They are intimidating. They call and they scream and they frighten politicians. And I am not making this up. I have heard the stories. They walk up and down the halls. They burst into offices screaming. They threaten all kinds of protests and boycotts and create social media mayhem. And most of the people in public life, politicians, are frightened little toddlers. And they've let the activists have their way. But not Valerie Amescua. I mean, I can't. That's like one of the best things I've ever seen a mayor put out. That really is. And she does this once a month. I mean, you know, Santa Ana is normally not anybody's idea of paradise, but look what she's doing, huh? She's cleaning it up. Not apologizing. Next time, there should be no explanation. No disclaimer. No, well, here's why we're doing it. And you may think that it's like, no, this is normal. Nobody normal objects to people being cleaned up off the street when they're, for example, laying in their own feces. It is not inhumane. Give them drug, alcohol treatment, mental health program, shelter. And shelter means, you know, a bed with a roof overhead. Doesn't mean you get a $1 million condo. And if not, jail. That was the thing. She's got the police there. And if they don't want to cooperate, jail. And then let's see. Let's see what you will review the choices there. That was terrific. That made my day. So we'll talk to Rick tomorrow. I guess it's unbelievable. Let me tell you the story first. And then I'm going to play you Tom Homan, who runs the immigration policy for Trump. Marcos Ariate Valdez. There's a hyphen in there somewhere. Marcos had a criminal record, an illegal alien, and he was up on burglary charges, at least two incidents in Contra Costa County.

A judge ordered him released, even though Department of Homeland Security said it put an immigration detainer on Ariati Valdez. DHS said Valgettes was from Venezuela, citizen of Spain, and he gets released. This is a Gavin Newsom judge, and what happens next, is he stabbed somebody to death the next day. He murdered a 68-year-old man in his neighborhood in Martinez just a day after he was ordered, released by this judge. It's just... This is just astonishing. And... Iriotti Valdez is accused of murdering Todd Stewart of Martinez. He lived on his street, a quiet street, for about 40 years. And just after getting out of prison, Ariate Valdez decided to break into this man's house, to do another burglary. You got this, he's an illegal alien. He's up before a judge because the two burglaries, he gets released. Nobody turns him over to ICE, and he commits another burglary and then kills the homeowner. Listen to Tom Homan here. He's blaming Gavin Newsom for this. There is no reason for it. I mean, bottom line, you're right. It's just politics, the sanctuary jurisdiction. They know over a decade. I can't think of the hundreds of cases like this stuff's happened. It's just one case after another after another. We'll talk about this today and tomorrow. Then we'll move on. The next week there'll be another one, some other place, and other sanctuary stay. And what really upset me, the response from the governor's office was that, well, I always had billions of dollars. They should be doing their job. We did our job. We located this person in their facility. We did an investigation, found out he is an illegally United States. She has a criminal history. He is deportable. So we issued a detainer, asking them. to notify us before they release them. Now, I don't care about sanctuary policies, all they said, we can't honor detainers, we don't think they're legal. There's nothing illegal. There's nothing against the sanctuary law in California. For a deputy, just pick the phone up and say that, hey, this guy's being released in an hour. You don't have to hold them one minute. Longer than you would normally hold them. Just call us before we release them. It's common sense. So this person's dead because Gavin Newsom and the state of California puts politics hatred of President Trump over public safety. He's got that right. It's just pure hatred of Trump. And they won't give an inch. And yeah, if ICE gets a detainer and says, hold him for an hour, hold him for an hour. Because it was only burglaries at that point. He was an illegal alien burglar. But God knows what else he's done. But in this case, he's burglarizing this home here. And he encounters Todd Stewart in the garage. And he pulls out a knife and he stabs Todd Stewart to death in the garage. And then he saw Stewart's wife, saw her reflection.

She screamed and he took off. And it's, and a guy's dead. Guy just bled out in his garage. Because I Gavin Newsom's sanctuary policies. Because Gavin Newsom has this obsessive hatred of Trump. All right. So we have another dead innocent man, 40 years in his neighborhood. dies in the garage, practically in front of his wife. Good. That's a successful policy. That's what an intelligent man would have for a policy. Right? You'd keep a bad guy. You won't let him get deported. Just wait until he actually murders someone brutally in the guy's own home. Pat Gavin Newsom's a genius. All right. When we come back... A little follow-up yesterday. We had one of the vice presidents of PETA on, and two things happened. We confronted a PETA rep on the air yesterday to try to get them to really get much more actively involved in all the dogs being murdered on Skid Row. And also, Bill Ossaly is offering $5,000 an FBI tip line that if you're aware of animal abuse in L.A. or anywhere in his district. you can call it in. So you probably heard the WNBA had a secret high-level meeting this week to debate the definition of a woman. because they have been some of the WNBA players and coaches have been very pro-trans. And there's a lot of players who don't want trans men in the league, trans women. So it's been quite an internal argument. It's spilled over into the public. And then two former NBA basketball players who are retired now said, hey, we're going to make ourselves available for the draft. We're transgender too. One of them is Annes Cantor. The other one is Royce. What's his last name? Royce. Royce White. Rice White. Yes. And I think White said explicitly, I am transgender for basketball purposes only. So when he goes on the court, it becomes a woman. He comes off the court. He's back to being a man. So WNBA officials really spooked. They had this emergency meeting, and they said they were going to announce what a woman is. So they had the meeting, and here is the official statement.

Today's meeting covered a wide range of topics, including ongoing discussions on transgender athletes and the continued hate in vitriol directed at players online. We will continue to engage all league stakeholders in the coming weeks and months. So they're going to take months to continue examining what a definition is of a woman. I told you my solution to this yesterday. Just do a genetic test. XX chromosome. You're a woman. X, Y, you're a man. That's infallible. X, woman, X, Y, man. There's no mystery. Scientists have known this ever since they developed DNA testing. I mean, the rest of us for thousands of years just looked between, look downstairs between the legs. It's like, oh, that's a guy, that's a girl. All right, but the scientists had had an official definition, X, X, X, Y, and the WNBA leadership is stumped. They don't know what to do. They can't tell. Even if you'd get him a genetic test, I don't know. It's just great. Okay. Now, on to, well, yesterday, it was just yesterday, wasn't it, Deborah? Yes, it was. It was yesterday. The PETA vice president on, and I've forgotten her name. I haven't in front of me. Lisa Lang. Lisa Lang, that's it. And, you know, we gave her a bit of a hard time. And then Debra got on her. Her soapbox. Yes, I did. Gave quite an impassioned speech. And I meant it all. And it's about what they ought to be doing because they're sort of protesting on the edges. What's going on in Skid Row with all the murdered animals and tortured animals. But, you know, a press release, an ad in the Sunday, L.A. Times, no, that doesn't cut it. We know what. We know what. We know what PETA is capable of. At the same time this week, Bill O'Saley from the Central District, he's the first assistant U.S. attorney here in the Los Angeles area. He announced there's an FBI tip line, $5,000 reward. If you report animal abuse, and I guess I imagine usually you have to get a conviction out of it, then you'll get $5,000. So Joey Tuccio, the animal activist, he posted today that he's emailed the FBI tip line and reported on an animal abuser that's gotten away with crimes for years on Skid Row. It's a woman. XX chromosome. She has admitted to tying dogs mouths shut with rope so they can't bark so people can't find them. She's threatened to kill people if they call the police. She's had caseworkers physically attacked when calling the police. She has 10 dogs and cats crammed in wire crates covered in feces. She's repeatedly hit the dogs. This mentally deranged individual is not only a menace to dogs, but a menace to society. Time for prosecution. It's Joey Tuchio.

So we might have to give you a lot more detail on Monday for this story. Just a few hours ago, a federal judge David Carter undid what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on our show on Wednesday.

If you remember, he held a press conference, he came on our program and said basically the federal government was cutting off money to Lhasa because so much of it is wasted and stolen. Well, predictably, there was a lawsuit, and a federal judge David Carter has blocked the Trump administration's attempt to cut off the money. And he says it's not a legal move. And I'll explain this as best I can. Carter says that Congress had mandated an organization called the Los Angeles continuum of care to set the policy here in L.A. for federally funded programs. That was Congress's demand. And it was a law passed in 2009. that the L.A. County and City of L.A. agencies can take over all the functions that L.A. is doing right now. Really, it says that there's just no jurisdiction that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has, or the Trump administration, has to do this because of this congressional law. And it's this L.A. continuum of care. I'm sure this will get appealed. But right now, the $240 million that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had cut off is being restored. And we'll do more on this coming up on Monday. All right. We're done.
