She sings, she dances, she acts. I'm waiting by the door from my Pulitzer. She sounds hideous. She's just the worst. Yeah, she's a wacko. She is, she is the devil. I'm in hell. Now, here's the millennial with the mic. He still leaves me both breathless and speechless. I love her. I... Love her. She is the best. So we'll ask you to say Grace. Grace Curley. Great! Welcome back, everyone, to the Grace Curley Show. It's true. It's me. I'm here. I'm here with Taylor. It's Friday. It's a beautiful Friday. I don't think there's any denying it. And we are so happy that you guys are joining us. Happy Friday to all of you. We have a lot to get to today. We have a lot of great guests. We've got Mike Crawford. We've got Tim Dunn. It's going to be a very local show. So if that's your jam, then you're going to love it. But there's also some big national news right now. I'm looking at Fox and they have a live camera outside of the Manhattan federal court in New York City. Luigi Mangione has pled guilty to the murder of the United Healthcare CEO and father of two, Brian Thompson. Thompson's family was in the Manhattan courthouse today. And the judge in this case announced that the sentencing will be in December. So December 18th will be the sentencing for Luigi Mangione. Now, have you been following this story about this spoiled, rich kid turned cold-blooded killer? You might be a little confused by how all of this has gone down. I certainly am confused. I haven't talked about it as much. I talked about it after it happened. And then I'd give updates every time they changed their plea, which happened a lot. They couldn't really get their acts together. And I should mention that if you're concerned about his thirsty, like, murder fan club that's outside, they're represented today. There's plenty of sad, desperate, squeaky frome wannabies who are standing outside the courthouse. hoping that they can get the attention of this hunk. And that maybe when he eventually ends up in a jail cell, he'll write them a letter. I don't know. Is that, that to me, Taylor, is the strange part about these kind of ladies. There's a lot of strange parts. The fact that they're doing this, the fact that this is their hero. Like, just, why can't you just be? And I feel this way, too, about Hasan Piker and all these other Democrat heartthrobs. Because there's always this.
sexual frustration, I think, with liberal women, where, you know, you have Debbie Dingell being like, well, yeah, he said America deserve 9-11, but he works out. And, you know, people really, I guess he looks good. And it's like, okay, horn dogs, chill out for a minute. My business, I'm around a lot of women. That one? And getting late. Exactly. It's like, can't you just, here's an idea. Rent a movie from the 1990s with Brad Pitt and it. And watch that. And that can be your fix. You don't need to start fixating on these murderers and on these psychopaths and on these socialists to get your fixin. To get your kicks. I find it very strange. I get that you're sexually frustrated. I get that you're... Looking for love in all the wrong places. But this guy? This is the best you can do? The staff at Jimmy Kimmel's like texting each other. Man, he's got a six-pack. Just... Just... Wait, I thought Dad Bods were in. Hey, just Ocean's 11. Okay? Brad Pitt. Just trust me on that. Brad Pitt is all you need. Or the artsier, Oceans 12. which he's featured in quite heavily. Oceans 12 stunk. Did he direct it or something? Oceans 12 stunk. I just pretend that Oceans 12 didn't even exist. I go right from Oceans 11 to Oceans 13. Just dealing with prime numbers here. Yes, exactly. Yeah, but they're all outside the courthouse. And my question is, Taylor, and I thought this was with Manson too. You might be saying to yourself, Grace, how do you know so much about Charles Manson? How do you know so much about this? Well, my mom was an only child. and she was very... Was she on the ranch? No, she wasn't. She was fixated, though. She told me that when she was a kid, she read Helter Skelter, and that it was so scary, and her parents weren't home from work yet, that she sat outside on her front porch with the book. under the light waiting for them to get home because she didn't want to be in the house by herself but she couldn't stop reading it so she when i was younger she'd see someone who look crazy she's like oh god squeaky from over here and that's always been in my mind so i have done a little digging into this too and there is this through line with women who get obsessed with these killers it's not just charles manson there's been you know there's there's a lead for every pot as they say anytime you got one of these nuts there's always a gaggle of women who are you know just waiting for their chance my question is taylor has it changed because now we're in the digital age or is it still just the hope of getting a letter Are we talking conjugal visits? This is like George Costanza. Remember when he gets the conjugal visits and then the girl gets out and he's not interested anymore? He likes having her in the jail. Yeah. Yeah. That's the ideal situation, isn't it? It's probably just more magnified. You know, there's more of it. It's always been there like this fascination. Yes. Murder is this romanticization of...
criminals, but because we're exposed to it so much more, there's just more of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're right. You're right. Because other people see it. Other nuts see it. And they think, oh, I could do that. I could join these other nuts. But my question is like, is all their best case scenario for these ladies, he writes them a letter. I guess. Did they let them have 8 by 10 glossies in the cell that he can sign? Although I do think, and you'd have to Google this, maybe Gene is listening. Mama Curley, if you're listening right now, text us. I do think Charles Manson got remarried in jail. So I do think... that if it comes to a union, you can maybe make that happen. So perhaps one of these psychos out there is actually going to be the next Mrs. Luigi Mangione. I don't know. But if you've been following it and you're kind of confused how it all happened, I want to just give you a quick summary of this timeline. He was arrested in December of 2024. It was five days. He was on the run for five days. So the killing happened December 4th. Five days later, they arrest him. I'm sorry, the murder. And later that month, he pleads not guilty in New York state court. Then in April, federal case begins. He also pleads not guilty in the federal case. Then in June of this year, so we've got 14 months later, his team announces that they're going to use a psychiatric defense. So like an insanity play. He wasn't in his right mind. We're very familiar with that right now as we talk about the Lindsay Clancy trial and everything going on with that. But it especially made no sense with this one because all of Mangione's fiercest supporters. in the media, on substack, outside the courthouse. They weren't just rationalizing what he did and excusing it. They were like glorifying it. They were saying, hey, not only did he have reason to do this, to just murder this man on the middle of the street because of his job, but he is a hero. And so it really made no sense where it's like, okay, so what kind of message are you sending to your deranged fan club here of lonely losers, the lonely losers club? That now you're saying you were crazy when you did it. I thought at one point you were telling us that other people are crazy not to be doing this, not to be killing people on the street. But luckily for those broads, he then changes it again. So he goes from. He's crazy. His lawyers were like he was crazy when he did it. The next day, just kidding. He was so in his right mind. He is more in his right mind. It's like Lloyd Braun. There's a lot of Seinfeld references today. You're perfectly normal. There's nothing crazy about you, Lloyd. That's what they start doing with Luigi Mangione. So then they come back and they go, no, no, no, no. We're reversing it. He's not crazy. And then they reverse.
So they say he's crazy. Next day they reverse it. He's not crazy. Then they come back a couple months later. Another reversal, they say, stiff, stop, stiff stop, stiff stop. Back and forth. They say he's guilty. Okay. And that's where we've, that's where we've ended today, is that he's guilty. What his punishment will be, I do not know. Now, we also have big news here in Massachusetts. I mentioned that it's going to be a heavy day for the local news. The mayor of Lawrence, did you see this, Taylor? I did not. He had a rude awakening this morning. Not a great wake-up call. Oh, what kind of raid was this? Anytime there's a battering ram in the morning. And do you think, so the FBI raids, the mayor of Lawrence, we're going to talk to Tim Dunn about it. He had kind of a really great piece, actually, in the Boston Herald about it, but it has all the details that you're going to need. But the FBI arrests him on federal wire fraud charges. Care to guess, Taylor, what kind of loans? he was laundering according to the FBI. COVID loans? Yes. It's always it all comes back to the COVID loans. This story has everything you need. It's got the IRS. It's got the COVID loans. It's got a mayoral race. What's this guy's name again? It's, I'm glad that you asked this because Pina. Pina. Pina. De Pina. But I'm worried that I'm saying it wrong. No, that's right. Because it has a little accent. Oh, De Pina. The squiggly line above the end? Yeah. De Pina. De Pina. Brian. I can do that. I can do the first one. Brian. Brian. Brian. Brian D. Brian. Brian DePina, you're saying. Okay. So, yeah, he was arrested this morning at dawn. They used the battering ram. At dawn. We ride at dawn. Now, I have a question. They're using the battering ram. You think they thought he was going to... I'm not questioning the FBI. I'm glad that they arrested him. I'm sure there's... Is that necessary at dawn for the mayor of Lawrence? Like, what do they think he's going to put about a face? Yeah, it's a little bit. You think maybe they just wanted to use it? You think sometimes it's like they sit around, they go, should we use it? Oh yeah, I'm sure they brought the bear cat with them. They had the battering ram. Taylor, if that were you and you were in charge of those kind of decisions, it would be mayhem. Oh, yeah, if we've militarized our police, we've got to use the toys we bought. Yeah, you'd be like, okay. Got to justify your purchases. But it's a traffic. It's a traffic violation. Taylor's like, bring the battering ram. Yep. We need it. Yeah, so that's going on. We will talk to Tim Dunn about that, about the situation in Lawrence and what this means for the mayor. And also, there's another big story. A lot of criminals today. We're wrapping the week up. And you know what I think? I think it involves a few things. Obviously, Democrats in the news, but also. The warmer weather. The warmer weather brings out a lot of crazy people, including this wacky woman who vandalized a World War II memorial. And we are going to talk about her because this is just awful. So let me read you a few of the details here. It says that Melissa L. Ferris is accused. of vandalizing the Capitol's World War II Memorial by pouring bubble soap into its fountain and spray painting a cryptic message on the stone. Now, what is, said cryptic message? It says, and I saw this earlier, and it really is cryptic, I don't know what it means. Clean hands dirty money was written in red spray paint.
clean hands dirty money and that's what you put what that has to do with the world war two memorial do you and here's another i'm just full of questions today i'm an inquisitive cat today do you think with these vandals it's just Does the monument or the memorial even come into play for them? Or is it just, this is something that looks important. Let's bring the spray paint to it. Because I don't really know if she was seeking out World War II specifically when she did this. I think sometimes it's more of a, hey, that looks like a nice thing. And they start with the spray paint. They love spray paint. These liberals. Man, and you know what, Taylor? You know this because they just started using a power drill. You start shaking those spray cans and it's got the little ball in it. Yeah. Satisfy. I'm not saying you should be doing this with it, but I'm saying I, the spray paint. Also petroleum based. So she's empowering the oil companies. Yeah, but that's so yesterday. You heard CNN yesterday. Nobody cares about that anymore. Everyone's moved on from climate change. Climate change. As I said yesterday, and I'll say it again, cannot get arrested. Climate change is as desperate as these Mangione ladies. Climate change is just looking for a date. Will anyone take me out? Will anyone buy me a drink? And the answer, climate change is no. We don't want you anymore. Go away. We've moved on. It's free Palestine. Okay? There's bigger fish to fry. It's socialism. So what? It's a little hotter. It just lets people get out and start spray painting stuff. We'll be back. We've got a big show for you today. Stay with us. It's 844-500, 4242. Snip-Snap, Snip-Snap, Snip-Snap. It's the Grace Curly Show. Follow Grace on X at G underscore Curly.
This is the Grace Curley Show. Yeah, Luigi's fan club during the summer swelter. The birds flew off with a fallout shelf. Eight miles high and falling fast. Yeah, Luigi's fan club, they're all trying to outwackadoo each other. Listen to this lady. Is her name April? Or is it a typo? Is it supposed to say, As Matt, is it supposed to say April? It says April. I've never heard of anyone named April. But maybe I'm not familiar with the name. This is her, this is her outside of the courthouse. This is cut six. April Rios. I'm here because Luigi has a surprise hearing in federal court. We're not really sure what's going on, but there have been rumors of a possible plea deal. And how do you feel about that possible plea deal? I've always said I support Luigi whether or not he did it. So for me, I always knew this could be on the table. So I wouldn't really be phased by one. Some people are saying it's a legal tactic to maybe set up a potential double jeopardy situation for New York State Court to protect him from that. How do you feel about those? Claims? Yeah, I think it's smart, but it's also risky because there's no guarantee that that will happen. And I do think Judge Caro is probably not going to let it slide that easily based off my impression on him. Oh, God. How do you feel about Judge Carolyn? I'm going to tell you, I don't think that Luigi Mangione is going to be able to take that voice. So if you want to win The Bachelor, if you want to get a rose and go to the final ceremony, I would suggest working on the up talk because I don't think Luigi's going to have a lot of patience for that. That's just a tip for you. By the way, her name is Abrel. I guess it's a Spanish name. I didn't know that. But Matt, you did not make a typo. So I do apologize for slandering you. There's a lot of ladies out there who are trying to find boyfriend. friends and I guess they think that he is I just, I refuse to believe he's the best option that you have. Today's poll question is brought to you by local silver mint located in where New Hampshire. Silver Dave will work with you directly. So contact him at local silver mint.com. Taylor, what is the PQ and what are the results thus far? Today's poll question, which you can vote in at grace curly show.com, is what should the punishment be for the woman who vandalized the World War II Memorial? Pay for the full cost of repairs, community service with the veterans organization.
Jail time or jail time plus full restitution. Jail time plus full restitution. 94% say lock her up and make her pay. Yeah, people just have... And you look at this woman. I don't know if people have seen her picture, but it's very clear that she is insane. So now I'm starting to get to the point where we should have another option. Open up... the mental hospitals because this is really getting out of control. Everyone is just, and even here in Boston we have this. And Mayor Wu doesn't have time to go to these press conferences for all of these stabbings and shootings. She has time to go on the radio and, you know, do things that she thinks are going to boost her public image. But she doesn't have time to join the cops for the press conferences for these things. But the crazy people. that are running loose and just wreaking havoc. And this is like a best case scenario. You vandalize a World War II Memorial. And I say that. I know that sounds terrible, but it's like worst case scenario, they're pushing people into subways. People are getting killed. It's really, really a scary time. And I agree with city counselor Ed Flynn, at least here in Massachusetts, that something needs to happen because the cops are overwhelmed. They are understaffed. And I think that's a problem we're seeing all over the country, unfortunately.
We're going to talk a little bit about a story that took off last week. I'm still seeing some blowback from it. It's the great burrito debate. Coming up next. These people are crazy. The Grace Curley Show is on the... I don't know people have seen this video of the Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Frey, but it's getting a lot of attention. It's hard on radio because I can't explain it, but I can't really do it justice. He's at this black entrepreneur state fair over the weekend. And he decides in his off white button down, his gray khakis and his dark sunglasses. To start dancing with another man. Y'all can't dance. With another man there. Fox described it. I'm sorry, the New York Post described it as clumsily gyrating his arms. Don't ever do that again. I don't know. I told Taylor, I said I watched the video. It wouldn't have been my suggestion if I was on his team. I wouldn't have said like, you know what we need? Elbows. Six inches from the waist, 90 degree angles. Don't you bite your lip. Stop it. Is this hitch? Do you love that movie? I could see you love it. I've only seen it once. I like Kevin James in that movie. Yeah, yeah, people do like that. I saw the video, Taylor. I didn't think he was that bad of a dancer. I mean, I don't, do I think that if I'm his... It's better than me, but that's a very low bar. Oh, my God, Taylor was dancing this morning. Oh, my God. It's really... It's really too much. And I feel it's like you're Mrs. Delfire. I go for a comedic effect. I know I'm bad, so I'm going to play it up. I told Taylor he looks like one of the, what do they call those, Taylor on the, the Hula girls? The Hula girls. It's like your waist isn't attached to your body. Your waist is going in all sorts of his hips. His hips don't lie. Yeah, so this Jacob Frey was just busting a move and a lot of people were commenting, we're ruled by theater kids. How did we let this happen? Yeah. I don't. And then you have Abdul El-Sayed, who's running. Doing the blues clues thing. Yeah, in Michigan. It's reminding me, though, because this stuff can backfire because a lot of times there's something that's cringy, and it is cringy, but then they kind of turn it into something endearing or they tried to. That's what we saw. Remember when everyone was making fun of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez when that old video came out, Taylor, of her dancing at BU? And then she, like, reclaimed her video and said, yeah, I was dancing. And then all of a sudden it was this cool thing that AOCs, she's a policy, she's a socialist who knows how to buggy. And by the way, saw a headline today about something about a sexy socialist summer.
This is the new thing. See, with Kamala Harris, it was the summer of joy. Vibes were high. It was Kamala Harris summer. Now we've moved on. Sexy cows, sexy pigs, sexy chickens, sexy fishes. Here's the male. It never fails. It makes me want to wag my tail. When it comes, I want a whale. Yeah, now we're having a sexy socialist summer. I don't really find anything that's sexy about it. And I'm going to say another thing. This Hasan Piker is now telling Democrats. And I've been so curious how they're going to handle him because he's not slowing down. Sometimes you hit your wagon to someone because they have a lot of followers, as Debbie Dingell put it. And the price you pay is that person's unpredictable. We've had experience with this, Taylor. Be dealing with someone. It's like, wow, this person gets a lot of. a lot of attention. And then that person is kind of a wild card. That's Hasan Piker. Hasan Piker, who was just featured, by the way, in Rolling Stone, they think he's really sexy. He's posing. He's got these beautiful suits that make him look like he's in the 1980s, like he's an American psycho or something. And he's... posing for this magazine. He's this big star. He's telling other Democrats who didn't vote for Abdul El-Sayed that they're Islamophobic pieces of bleep. And now he's saying, Democrats, listen to me. I know we don't always see eye to eye on a lot of stuff. But you have to literally at some point. I know you don't want to do this. Defend me. That requires you to basically take the L a little bit. and maybe be a bit more honest about how I'm not this dangerous, toxic, radical force. But what if they actually believe that you are? Like, doesn't it say something that Democrats will defend so many people, Taylor? But they are stopping short in a lot of cases of defending this man. So perhaps they truly do believe that you are this dangerous radical force, which should scare everyone. When you've gone too far for Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, you actually might be as bad as people are saying you are. When you say America deserved 9-11 and Jews should go back to Auschwitz and, you know, everything else that this guy has on his resume, There might be a they are there. There might be an actual reason they're not defending you. But he's telling them, and I was curious if once Abdul El-Sayed got the nomination, if he was going to tell Hasan Piker, make yourself scarce. Like, get out of here. You know, you've done what you needed to do. Now we need you to fall back so that we can pretend that we're not that close to you. That doesn't seem to be happening. Now, another story. about this involves what the polls are saying now. Now you've got to take it, as I always say with a grain of salt, but it is interesting as far as how far behind Abdul El-Sayed is already in Michigan. Take a listen to Harry Enton. This is cut too.
So do you have a sense then, Harry, of what it is that is contributing to the struggles, right, that Abdul El-Sayed is, is it that Rogers is a stronger candidate or is it that Abdul El-Sayed has more issues for voters to deal with? It is all about Abdul El-Sayed. He is a weak... candidate, at least by the metrics that we normally look at. And you can just take a look here. Okay, the net favorability rating of the Dem Center candidates across these northern battlegrounds. You notice there's only one candidate rent. One who has an unfavorable rating higher than his favorable rating, and it is significantly higher. Look how far underwater, Abdul Asaid is. He is 13 points underwater under there in Lake Michigan. My goodness gracious, Troy Jackson and Maine. He's at plus one. You got Sherrod Brown at plus four in Ohio. And Josh Turrick and Iowa way above there at plus 18. points. This is extremely unusual. Again, across the map, Democrats have done such a good job recruiting candidates who are well liked by the voters. Again, I looked at all the Fox News posts. All the Democrats were above water except for Abdul El-Sayed, and he has 13 points underwater. This is all about Abdul El-Sayed being a weak candidate, at least in the minds of the voters. You know who's loving this, Haley Stevens? She's like, I told you guys could have had me. You guys could have had a... and we could have been sticking it to him. But instead, you chose Abdul El-Sayed. And now you can't stick anything to them. She must be enjoying herself. This has got to be fun for her. But it's a pretty historic poll that CNN is citing here because listen to this. This is cut three. And so then just putting that perspective, too, in the state of Michigan. This is, I mean, you touched on this, right? But this is especially important when you look at things in the state of Michigan. Yeah, okay. So, you look at this first slide, right? You see that Mike Rogers is ahead right by four points. Well, I was interested because I couldn't think of another example where you actually had a Democratic candidate who was down at least four points. four points in a Senate poll in Michigan. And it turns out for this entire century, Abdul El-Sayed is the only one in a poll that meets CNN standards for publication. This is extremely, extremely, extremely unusual. Abdul El-Sayed breaking records in the ways that you don't want to. In fact, he is the first Democrat down by this much as I said in a century since 1994. And this is all, I think all these polls were taken before a lot of this dog controversy started. Because now people are starting to look back on when he was the Detroit Health Director and he was in charge of the animal control department and it was beset, according to Fox News, by allegations of animal mistreatment and reportedly branded a dog slaughterhouse by a former employee. It's so great to be with all of you and the dogs. Because the dogs can't vote. But the dogs are counting on us. And they want to live in America that has truth, decency, honor, and justice. So dogs, we are not going to let you down. We are doing this for you. Yeah, I mean, I bet the dogs were on Haley Stevens's side if any of this stuff that's coming out about Abdul El-Sayed and the dogs is true. I mean, she definitely had the dogs, but like she said, they didn't vote.
That became very clear in the primary. Everybody's talking about weight loss injections because the results are so dramatic. They work by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite. This is the Grace Curley Show. Welcome back, everyone. You might notice I have some special guests in the studio. And that is because Taylor and Sam from Collette are going to tell you about a really exciting trip that is coming up. Sam, walk us through this next chapter for Taylor, what this brings for him. This is exciting for Taylor. It is. And your listeners, I think it's, you know, the trip that we're talking about that Taylor is going to go on as sunny Portugal. And it's all along the Algarve coast and it's sunshine and it's fun and it's music and it's food. And Taylor's going to be the host with your listeners. I don't know all that much about Portugal. I'm quarter Portuguese. I've never been. So I've always wanted to go. But this is the opportunity of a lifetime. I'm very much looking forward to learning about... It's mainland Portugal, but you do have pre and post-tour extensions that you can do that will take you to some of the other parts of Portugal that aren't on the mainland. But it is the trip of a lifetime. Anybody that's wanted to go, this is your opportunity to join me as what does a host involve? I'm going to be the face of the tour, right? But I'm not expected to do... A lot of homework. No. This is fully guided with Colette. We take care of everything and all you do literally is show up and have a great time. And there's going to be a tour manager with you the whole time from the start to the finish who will be from Portugal. Great. And they'll be bringing to life, you know, all this. the history, the culture, the food, you're going to just learn so much along the way. It's such a great way to travel. What Grace knows, it's a great way to travel. Yeah. And what I loved about it is, as you said, you have a tour guide who's with you, but then they know specific tour guides and specific areas. And it's kind of like if you were to visit a friend and they show you all the best places and they tell you, well, don't wait in that line. We'll take you in through this way. It's you really feel like a VIP everywhere you go. Yeah. And that's our goal is that, you know, you should feel like family. We don't wait in lines for things. We get right into things. And it just, you know, we know the things you're going to want to see when you go there. But then there's free time to make the adventure your own. So it's a nice balance of both. And you're going to see that. Yeah, I love that part because if I go to a place, and even if my wife plans, we always end up in the tourist trap parts. You know, I tell Grace, I went to Canada once with my family. We ended up eating at a rainforest cafe. Like, that's not the Canadian experience that you want. But this, Colette avoids all of those tourist traps, and you're going to those, I wouldn't call them hole in the wall places, but they're much more.
culturally ensconced. Yes. And I think they're like experiences too. We don't want you just to see something, want you to experience it. So like we go to a family run cork factory where we're having a picnic overlooking a, you know, a mountaintop on. The experiences that we have would be hard to duplicate if you were on your own. Some really cool things that you're going to remember. Yeah, that's the part of it that I think, Taylor, you're so right about. You go somewhere and it can be really overwhelming when you're worried about, oh, do we have to get a bus here? And a lot of times you get so overwhelmed, you just say, well, maybe we'll just walk around. for a couple hours. And then you don't end up really seeing anything. In this case, people will be shocked, and I experience this in Iceland, how much fun you have when you were not weighed down with trying to plan everything. When you were just able to hit the road, it's like your light is a feather. It is such a great way to see the world. I know I was in Paris recently and I was without my tour guide. And all of a sudden I'm like, I miss my tour guide because it was the one I do. travel with Colette. It is just a wonderful. You're going to have so much fun. So what is that experience like having the tour guide with you, walking you through these different experiences that you're taking? What are they going to tell us about? You know, everything from the architecture, which is amazing, like in Lisbon. I mean, it is, you know, these are medieval towns. You're going to, we're going to Cintra where the kings used to, you know, spend their summers. And I said, maybe we can sing some Sinatra and Cintra. Sinatra and Cintra. I like that. But, you know, they just. They bring to life the stories, the people, the history. Maybe, like I said, maybe I've never been to Portugal. By the time you leave, you're going to have such a great feeling of this authentic Portuguese experience. What about the food? The food's amazing. The food is what I'm looking forward to. Food is so fresh. I mean, it's, they have a real farm-to-teable movement there. I mean, you're going to have such delicious, obviously, seafood. But then all the Portuguese food, you. And the wine, oh my gosh, the Portuguese wine along the way. Have you been? I have it when I was younger. Okay. But that's what I remember was the wine and the people. The people are so warm, so lovely. It's such a great culture. What I love about Colette is that, you know, when you go on a trip by yourself or without tour guides and you see things or you think, oh, next time, if I ever come back here, I'm going to do that. Or if I ever come back here, I'm not going to do this. What you guys have done. because you take so much feedback from people and you really listen to the people, is that now you've created these tours that are just perfect. It's like you know exactly what people say, eh, I don't need to do that again. And all you're giving people is the stuff that people just really light up for and love. Grace was telling about the curation process for what that is. So why don't you, Sam, go into a little bit of detail about how you guys curate these tours for the best experiences. Yeah. I mean, that is kind of what sets us apart. tours. They are designed by us. We have the people on the ground that are making. Like you said, there's a lot of thought and attention into the flow of the tour. I think guided travel, people used to think of being so busy and you didn't have time to enjoy each place. And this is different. This is a different way. It's not your grandmob's guided door. This is literally like you can go along, see what you want to see and then have time on your own to, like I said, bring it all to life. But these... They've thought each place that we have a restaurant, he's experienced, each place that we stay is very, is very strategically and purposely chosen. So anybody's interested they can go to Grace Curley Show.com, click the banner at the top of the page. And we want to make sure this is not just we're going to Lisbon and then places kind of around Lisbon. This is... No, it's all along the coast. You know, we're...
a lot of water views, a lot of beauty about dramatic cliffs and beautiful seaside towns and like I said, medieval towns as well. So focused along the coast primarily. But then we do go into Avora and like I said, we're down in Cintra. So it's amazing. And Keshekeh. And I would just throw in that if you've never traveled with a group before, it is. A really fun, rewarding experience. And if you are, we had a lot of singletons on our trip. Right. And they just added so much to the group because they were able to, sometimes someone was able to come with my sister and I had a dinner if we had a free night off. And it was just a really fun time. And we all became really good friends. And yes, in this case, you will have a lot in common with people. But you'd be shocked how much we didn't really talk about anything political. It just becomes about being in these beautiful places and enjoying each other. And I mean, we had more laughs. I've told you this, Sam. I am still in contact with a lot of people from my trip to Iceland. Taylor, you're going to make some really great friends on this trip. Yeah, there's something about traveling together that you do. You're having these great adventures. You're exploring these beautiful places, and you do get bonded. And like I said, to travel with like-minded people is also wonderful, fun conversations. But these trips are just fun to begin with. And then I think having Taylor along as the host is going to bring a whole other element to it. So I think it's a unique experience. And if people are interested in learning more, too, we're going to have a slideshow. That's what people say about me. Taylor is a unique experience. I can attest to that. A slideshow. Yes. So if you're interested in the trip, join us on that night to learn more because I think it'll give you a great feel for what the adventure would be like. So I definitely encourage you to do that.
