88 segmentsWe made it to the 5 o'clock hour. Greetings and salutations. Welcome to this brand new afternoon. This afternoon has never been lived before. It's a blank canvas. If you will it so, it can be your masterpiece. Here's how. Think of three things for which you're grateful. And then do the evening with all the joy, wonder, enthusiasm, and gratitude you can muster. Hashtag TYG, turn it up. Yes. All right, let me get to some of your phone calls and text messages. Anthony Fauci hearings. Um, they, they certainly get people fired up. I mean, they get people really fired up. My simple point was great theater, great voter activation, no consequences for Dr. Anthony Fauci if that is what is being sought. So. In terms of the other story that's hot in Tennessee this afternoon, candidate Monty Fritz said that he would shut down all the mosque and he would ban mosque in the state of Tennessee and other pagan religions. And I don't know that a governor can actually do that, but I've got a text out to him. I'd like to talk to him about it. I see both of these things through the lens of midterm elections. Voter activation. I see both stories that way because the ability to produce the result that one wants doesn't seem to be there. One. Can't punish Anthony Fauci. You can fuss at him. He's going to the House. Two, a governor, it is my understanding, a governor can't ban religious institutions because of the First Amendment. However, Monty Fred said, no, no, it says Congress, she'll make no law. In the state of Tennessee, maybe we could. I don't know. But I think both provide voter activation. You have two candidates, Republican candidates running for governor that are really well funded. I didn't pull the latest financial report for Monty Fritz, but his campaign has been very what I would call asymmetrical. He's gotten his name out there. He's got a lot of popularity. The counties around the major cities of the state of Tennessee are very, very conservative. And so I think candidates are trying to do what they believe they need to do to present themselves as being politically conservative because that may drive decision-making more than the issues that may be.
of importance to the people of the state of Tennessee. Does that make sense? You tell me what you think. All right, two phone calls, and then we'll get some of these text messages. Chris, thanks for being patient. 510, welcome to the Triple H Radio Experience. Hey, how you doing? I am well, sir, taking it one day at a time. I'll say something about Anthony Fauci right quick, but I won't say something about the governor's race afterwards. Okay. I agree with him about Anthony Fauci. Pouchy, nothing's going to happen because right now the Republicans are after him, right? Democrats are upset because, you know, the Republicans are after him. They're saying this, this, this. Now, if it was the other way around, am I not wrong, Callering, say if the Democrats were after Anthony Fauci and the Republicans were defending him. Nothing would be done, right? Right, right, right. It's the game. It's the game. Well, that's where I'm getting to. The problem in this country, and I've said this on your show in the past, it's the American people. It's our fault. We keep electing the same people over and over and over again. And when you're elected somebody like Marsha Blackburn, she's been a politician for 33 years. I hate to pick on her, but she's been in politics 33 years. Yeah, she can get on shot handy and talk a good show. But what has she done in the Senate? She ain't done nothing for Tennessee. We're almost $40 trillion in debt. And I hear people complain about a Big Mac $10. This is so expensive. This and that, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Look in the mirror. You're not getting on the politicians to pay the debt off. And you're wondering why you're paying $10 for a Big Mac. Until the American people wake up, power, and nothing's going to change. You're right. You know what's interesting, though, when the American people do wake up on anything, things do change. That's what I was mentioning yesterday in the story about Cracker Barrel. People were more engaged around the Cracker Barrel issue than they are about actually voting. And the CEO of Cracker Barrel had to resign. They had to change their own strategy because the people rose up. So it's interesting. Don't mess with my uncle Herschels. But y'all can do what you want to in Washington. Well, it's like I said, until the American people quit electing the same people over and over again, I'm sorry, if they've been in office more than eight to 12 years, they could be the nicest people in the world. But you've got to quit voting for them. Because we just get, let's just be honest, people. The Republicans and Democrats, they get on TV and, you know, they're, oh, I hate them, I hate this. But they're buddies behind the cameras. I promise you that. And they're just, and they think we're fools. And everybody's like, oh, I mean, until, like I said, until people will wake up and nothing's going to change. On the governor's race right quick,
I voted for Fritz. And the reason why I voted for Monty, he's not a career politician. I think he's been our state representative in Rome County for, what, two to four years? I think it's two, but I think he's only held office two years. You got Blackburn. She's been in office, what, 34 years? She won't do media stuff. She won't do this. It's to me, a lot of people think she's hiding stuff. And John Rose, I mean, there's some stuff that he said that I like. He said stuff about the, if you go on his website, he has said something about the infrastructure, but he's not really vocal about it. But he's also a career politician also. The infight between him and Marcia turned me off. All right. Chris, Chris, thanks for the call. You didn't start a business just to keep the lights on. You're here to sell more today than yesterday. Yeah. All right, let me get back to this. Dano, Dano, Book him, Dano. Welcome to the broadcast. Dano. Hello. Hello. Greetings. This is Alan. Oh, Alan. Welcome to the broadcast. How are you, sir? I am well. Hey, you was talking about Monty Fritz and freedom of religion and Islam and stuff like that. Yes. So in our country, we have the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which are all based on biblical freedom, freedom, you know, that came from the Lord. The Lord has mentioned all over our government and his documents, etc. What's interesting about the context of the Freedom of Religion Clause in the Constitution, at the time it was written historically when in Europe, Catholic and Catholics were in power. Typically, they killed the Protestants. When the Protestants were in power, obviously there was some fighting, but it wasn't near to the extent that the Catholics killed the Protestants.
So the context in which that was written was based on Protestants, Catholics, et cetera, because the king or queen would decide who was going to live and going to die based on what religion they were. Now, if you look at Islam, Islam seeks to replace the Constitution. So it would make common sense for any logical person that Islam would be unconstitutional because it wants to replace the Constitution. Where does it say that? Well, that's where the common sense comes in. We can see in every Islamic country it's kill everybody else but the Muslim. Can we? Can we see that? So, okay, let's play. Yes, sir. Anywhere there's a majority. No, no, no, no. Let's tease the idea then. Let's take your statement and let's play with the idea for just a minute, all right? All right? Yes, sir. And let's play with the idea. Let's start with Saudi Arabia. The holiest site in Islam is in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has all sorts of people there. We are friends with. In fact, they have joined the war with Iran with us. We do business with them. They are a Muslim monarchy. They're Muslim. Majority Muslim. I don't know that they have an edict in their country to kill everybody that isn't Muslim. We have all sorts of American business people that are in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar. All of these are majority Muslim nations. Let's jump over to Turkey. We like in America, we like Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkey is a Muslim, majority Muslim nation. You've got a bunch of countries that conservatives like that are majority Muslim, and we don't say that about them. We don't say this about Saudi Arabia. They're majority Muslim. They're majority Muslim. We do lots of business with them. Lots. We host them at the White House. We fed them. I'm telling you, these are majority Muslim nations. The holiest site in the Muslim world is in Saudi Arabia. Mecca is right there. How come we don't have a problem with that? Those politicians are lying. There's greedy and all that kind of stuff. But go back to the Constitution. Rather than talk about the Middle East and Muslim countries, talk about how many churches are in Saudi Arabia. Talk about how many Christians are killed in Muslim countries. Talk about how...
Anytime the Muslims get in power, everybody else is toast. Okay. So, okay. So if that is the factual thing, if you're saying everywhere that Muslims are, they're killing all the Christians, then it comes back to the United States of America that is standing on that constitution that you're quoting, why then do we do business with them and look the other way? Why then? Because we have crooked politicians and money greeting corporate people. So why? Because we want their oil. That's why. But the issue isn't why are we doing business with them. The issue is the Constitution. We don't, but we don't have a principle. If the principle was the, your argument is that the Constitution was designed as a Christian document, that the context for religious liberty was for the expression of variations of Christianity, not just religious worship writ large. That's, I hope I'm hearing you, right? And you're saying when you look at Muslim culture, Muslim nations, that they kill all the Christians. My counter argument to you is that. a conservative president of the United States or a liberal president of the United States of America. We have multiple Muslim majority nations with whom we share intel, do business, celebrate at the White House. And all you can say is, well, that's the way politicians are. But we're in the middle of an election where you have a politician or you have someone running for office. I won't characterize him as a politician saying that we want to eliminate mosques. Are politicians really that way? Are you telling me that if... Mohammed bin Salman came to the state of Tennessee that Tennesseans would turn the head of Saudi Arabia away? Are you telling me that at our state capital, we would not allow him to come to Nashville? We should turn him away. But we don't, Alan. We don't. That's not the issue. President Trump, they love the Saudis. They love these. I know that. I know they do. I know that's not the main issue. Who people do business with is not the main issue. The issue is our Constitution and founding documents support individual freedom. Islam, everywhere it goes and everywhere it grows, kills everybody else that's not a Muslim. That's the fact. So they want to replace the Congress. I don't see that, though. I don't see that.
Everywhere there's a majority Muslim nation that they kill everybody that isn't Muslim. I see Muslim extremists who believe and act on that, but I don't see that as the majority of Muslims around the world. I just would need for you to illustrate that more. I gave you my illustration. I gave you my illustration. Americans routinely, Americans are in favor of violence. 30% don't. Yeah, about a five of them, the younger generation in particular. But what I'm saying is we literally have, for instance, you have somebody like the UFC that routinely host fights in Dubai. And Americans go over there and vacation. I don't know of Americans going there and they get there and the Muslims go, oh, you're not a Muslim, off with your head. They make that money. That's what I'm talking about the government of the political stuff. Qatar gave the President of the United States a plane. Qatar is a majority Muslim nation. It was a Muslim gift. We accepted it. Bragged about it. I understand that. The Islamic religion wants to replace our Constitution. Okay. You got you. All right, Alvin, thanks for the call. The U.S. Soccer podcast. These players are battered and exhausted, but you don't hurt like this if you don't care about this team, about this country, about this game. I think you can feel the intensity. The goals, the energy, the, wow, look at us. Here in the U.S., I have got some news for you. There's so much more to come. My name is Megan Klingberg, and we're just getting started. The U.S. Soccer Podcast, presented by Henkel, follow and... Listen on your favorite platform. Triple H Radio Experience, join me in the conversation. Alan, thanks for your call. You've given me a lot to, you've given me a lot to think about. I do not believe that Monty Fritz as governor would try to ban synagogue. I mean, not synagogues, but mosques. I don't. I believe that is...
He said something in the interview that I saw, and that's why I want to talk to him. I sent him a text. Maybe he will come on today or tomorrow. I know next week. We're supposed to have Marsha Blackburn, and I'm hoping to get John Rose and Monty Fritz in that last few days before Election Day. I think it's more – I have a different theory. Here is my political theory of Tennessee. This is my political theory of Tennessee. Number one, I am processing everything that is happening today through the lens of the midterm election cycle. My thesis is that the Anthony Fauci hearings fire up conservatives. makes them remember and it activates them, conservatives and Republicans. So they go to vote because they don't want to relive that and everything negative that's related to Anthony Fauci. And that whole thing, well, you get the point. You get the point. So I believe this has to do with the midterm elections. Because nothing is going to happen to Dr. Anthony Fauci. Then what is the function? What is it there to serve? What does it do? Gets people fired up. To me, that's what this is. Gets people fired up. That's that. That's one. Number two, the Anthony Fauci hearings move us away from the war. Takes the news cycle. It gives the Pentagon and the president a couple of days where they can work on strategy without the distraction of the media paying so close of attention to what's happening in this war theater and how this situation is developing. We're not talking about the war. Come to the state. My thesis, we're in the middle of an election cycle. You have two extremely well-funded candidates in Marsha Blackburn and John Rose. I don't think, I was going to look this up in a minute, but I don't think Monty Fritz comes to the table with the same type of money as Marsha Blackburn and John Rose. They're all buying media. They're all trying to get their message out. My theory, my thesis for Tennessee politics is you have three sections of the state when you're running statewide. West, Middle East. The cities of the state of Tennessee are blue or bluish purple. So Nashville, Knoxville. Chattanooga and Memphis have Democrats as mayors. The counties that surround these cities are super conservative. So you take in Nashville. Nashville has a Democrat as a mayor. It has a more socially liberal bent in the center of the city of Nashville, but in the counties that ring Nashville.
some of the most conservative counties in the state. And when you're trying to build a plan for winning statewide, you can do one of two things. You can try to do it the conventional way, get the big money, the big donors in the big city. and see if you can activate donors and voters in the big cities, or the alternative strategy is if you get the counties around the cities that are conservative, you can probably scoop up as many active, active, this is real important, active voters in a low voter turnout scenario. to make you more competitive. In order to be competitive, then in the conservative counties that surround the more liberal cities of the state of Tennessee, you not only have to be conservative, but you have to be more conservative than the other candidates. There are certain cues of conservatism that resonate more than others. So I think if I'm just giving you my pure, this is what I think and why I think it, I think Monty Fritz, understanding media and social media, if you say you're going to ban all the mosques, you're going to get a lot of media coverage that's earned media that you don't have to pay for. And you're putting a marker in the sand to say, I'm even more conservative. than John Rose and Marsha Blackburn. They've all tried to stake a claim on conservatism because the state of Tennessee is very conservative. The first claim on conservatism was who is closest to Trump, or I should say President Trump. Who is closest to President Trump? Who will bring the ethos of President Trump to Tennessee? Who would President Trump select to run the state so that it is in alignment with his vision for America? That's what it started as. A war for who could... close the distance between themselves and President Trump. So that's first. Next is the invasion of outsiders. Whether it's the Chinese buying up farms, people moving from L.A. and New York and all these other places, bringing their money, pricing us out of real estate. And like Starbucks coming into our quaint conservative state, and trying to bring their woke corporate agendas to our state or other people trying to invade our state. So somebody coming in from the outside that has woke ideas or whatever, I'm going to fight against that, that would mark or demark you as conservative or more conservative.
And then if you move over to, if you're moving more toward a more Christian nationalist view of America and the state, then foreign religions or religions that are other than Christian, that could be another way that you make. You're marked by you're saying I'm even more conservative because I get the running thesis is that the most conservative person will win the primary. And then you get to a general election and then you move back closer to the center. Now that's my thesis. That's what I think and why I think it. Now you can come back against it and you can tell me, hey, I don't like that, whatever it is you want. Mike Drop, hosted by former Navy SEAL Mike Ridland. How would you characterize your prowess? I'd say my style is that I just kind of outwork everybody until I get there because I'm not a quitter. It's just you. And that's yourself. There's everything else's team-oriented. The motivation, it was a sort of anger at myself for being weak. That ends up being the driving factor. That anger, that pride, that ego, I think it's a muscle. It gets stronger. When you take that voice seriously, you start to change your life. Mike Drop, follow and listen on your favorite platform. Jeremy, from the text line, have you read the Quran? Its objective is to kill all that do not follow Allah, Triple H. Jeremy, I have not read the Quran. I have not. I have not read the Quran. So I don't know where it says that or when it says that, but I haven't. But I am assuming that you have read the Quran. So call me. I haven't met many people that have read the Quran, honestly. So I was looking at this list of majority Muslim countries in America. I mean, not in America, around the world. I was looking for... A list after, because Alan's call made me think, and I love it when people make me think. These are, this is a rough list of nations that are majority Muslim in the Middle East and North Africa, Algeria, Bahrain. Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jim Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, although they're more closely balanced. Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. All of them are majority Muslim. All of those countries. Sub-Saharan Africa. Burkina Faso.
The Gambia, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. All the stands are majority Muslim. South and Southeast Asia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, and Pakistan. All majority Muslim. European countries, Albania, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, there's a conversation about that. But all of the countries that I named are majority Muslim. And we do trade and, you know, so I don't, the thesis that Alan presented was that everywhere Muslims are in the majority, they kill all the Christians. And that's what their aim is. I don't know that to be factual. I don't know that to be factual. But then I'm ignorant. Not dumb. I'm not dumb at all, but I'm ignorant. Jeremy asked me, if I had read the Quran. I have not, Jeremy. I have never read the Quran. I've read a few pages from it. I thought of reading it once. But I'm like, bro, you need to get more Bible in you, son. So I don't know. Let's see, Jeff says your first caller in a 5 o'clock hour, Chris hit the nail on the head. We're $39.8 trillion in debt. That is true. Let's see what Terry says here. It is just, as he said, just said buddies behind the scene, just like old school wrestling. Huh? Yeah, buddies behind the scene, old school wrestling, yeah. Let me see what Baylor. Mr. Hill, today I voted. And in the end, I voted for Fritz. I spoke previously about writing in Mr. Corder or Mr. Thomas because I was not satisfied with the choices. I also thought about a write-in for you. However, you are too vital to my day. Please stick around. Hang on as long as I'm alive. That's Ms. Baylor. Thank you for that. Some warm thought. Travis says, I don't understand that one. Let's see what Andy says.
Okay, that's not related to the show. All right. The number is 656-8255-8255-9-255-5-6-talk. 1-800-9-51 talk. I just, Gravelman, welcome to the broadcast. How's your going, Triple-Each? You're doing okay? I am well taking it one day at a time. I am a student of history. I love history. And this topic brings me back to the, I think it was 1390, the reign of Henry III. And at one time, Spain had the largest Jewish population. But then during the reign of Henry III, Jews faced increased persecution and were pressured. to convert to Christianity. It would be interesting if some of the Jews who went through the pogroms of that period, 1391, it was especially brutal, the threat of violence hung over the Jewish community in Spain, and they were faced, given the choice to either be baptized. or death, and there were a lot of Jewish converts. But we seem to never learn from history, especially when it comes to these issues of religion and religious domination, the Inquisition and what was done in the name of religion by Ferdinand and Isabella to the Muslims. I think it was Francisco who ordered the persecution of Muslims in Grenada, which is one of the last of the Muslim kingdoms in Spain. And they were completely expelled. Religion, historically. The bloodshed and turmoil, the wars that have been fought based on religion precepts, it's phenomenal. If people were just read the history and the resistance that stood up against the Inquisition that eventually led to its demise. We keep going down this road over and over again, century after century, and we seem to never learn. When people are told that morality depends on, for instance, fear of hell, They do not become truly ethical. They become obedient. You control people through fear. The church controls people through fear. A person who does good only because they fear hell is still controlled by fear. And that's the biggest hook that the churches have used.
throughout history is to control the populist through fear, and the politicians are in bed with the preachers just as they were doing Constantine. He got in bed with the Romans. The Romans got in bed with the archbishops and the Pharisees. It's a complete... The same thing over and over again. Gravelman, thanks for the call. Triple H Radio Experience.
