Hour 3: Zohran Mamdani Wants to Arrest Benjamin Netanyahu

That's Seattlered.com. Now, back to the Jason Ranch Show. Well, good afternoon. Victoria Taft in for Jason Rance today, and we're here back on Wednesday. And we're having fun, right, Brady? We're having a lot of fun. Great time. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Okay, so we have some long-form situations coming up, and that's an invitation for you to stay tuned to get a little bit more detailed information from. He's becoming my friend. I keep having Edmund Fit and Brown on my podcast all the time, and I don't know. I guess he likes me, or I don't ask stupid questions, or maybe he just indulges me because I'm a dummy or something. I don't know. But he always brings the information to me and to my viewers on the podcast as well as today, to you. And so we'll get some information about what's going on in Iran because it looks as if, and I just haven't forfend, we have some boots on the ground situation in Iran. So I... worry about that, so we'll talk about it and where they're going and all sorts of things. And there is a weekend at Bernie's reference by Edmund, so that should be very interesting as well. Okay, so the biggest story of last week, probably in our generation perhaps, is that the president of the United States went before the entire country and he announced that there was some incredible... problems, multiple things in which, well, it was he called it the biggest cover up in history, in American history. And we thought we'd seen that before. But indeed, it appears that this is much worse than the usual Biden-era thing. It's much worse. On Thursday night, he opened his very short speech, I thought, for him. talking about how China had interfered with our elections and how he believed that was an ongoing problem. And of course, some of the major media, the mainstream media, had already pre-bunked his information and chose not to use his... not to honor his request to air his speech and not to even bother to mention it or anything else, except unless they were.

putting him down for what he was saying and called a liar, which is always the default position of many, many of the media to President Trump. And so this was a problem because he was actually providing some really interesting detailed information, specifically the issue about China and how the FBI had intentionally kept. information about election interference, not stealing an election, but stealing information from people such that there were ballots that were created in the American electorate's names. And that sort of thing. They didn't say that they pulled the trigger on those, but they felt and he felt that this was, well, it was pretty serious. And they indeed had kept this away from President Trump during his first term. And the way he knows that is because the FBI and the DNI found through their... you know, people who were willing to tell them the truth, burn bags and other information locked up in a room in the FBI, or correction, in the CIA. They found them, and they began to go through them. And they found out that there was information about this very thing that the FBI and the DNI knew. But the FBI, for whatever reason, I'm not even entirely sure why the FBI would have been in receipt of this information per se. But they told the presidential briefer that there's nothing to see here. And so he talked about the fact that there's evidence released new documents. that have just been declassified within hours of that speech, that, um, saying that they were running their own secondary shadow government to oppose him, to not... include any information about this because all it would do was buttress his surmise that the 2020 election was rigged this now so check this out so there was a lot of funny business done on behalf of china in the election in 2019. And he said, he cited a CIA document that talked about the declassified evidence, the stolen data of names, addresses, phone numbers, party affiliations, everything needed to interfere with American democracy in his words. You can also buy some of this information. I don't think that China bought it. I think China...

hacked it. That's the impression we're left with. But regardless of how they got it, I rather doubt, you know, a foreign malefactor like China would get it. But hey, you never know. President Trump called it exactly what it was. The networks want to protect the radical left by not showing you the information, which is exactly what is. It's entirely on brand. This is what they did following the 2020 election, which was the first election that was really elevated to the idea that it was a national security event, such that it would not withstand, not countenance. anybody bringing down the, anything having to do with the veracity of the 2020 election. So they made it into and regarded it as a national security issue. And this is not, this was not the first, I mean, correction, this was the first time they'd done that. Which is why they went after people who. talked down down i don't criticize the 2020 election like president trump and this is and a lot of his supporters and to the j6 people and everything went flowed from there even though according to the documents he declassified they had proof that China was interfering with the election. And you can decide the extent to which they did it, but the woman who said that she was running a shadow, I feel like I'm running a shadow government, she said, and released declassified documents, they... They verify what she said. And when Kash Patel came in to the FBI, he blew her out. She was like super high level. And she was formerly with the Federal Bureau of Investigations for like 20. She was 19 years, eight months. I'm sure she. Got more time off and probably cashed dinner vacation time kind of a deal and just got her 20 and just got the heck out of Dodge. And now what is she doing? Why? Let me tell you something. The woman who undermined the president of the United States who chose to eliminate information from the presidential daily brief. She eliminated information from the presidential daily brief, which we used to think under George W. Bush Hitler, that presidential daily briefs were big deals. Remember, there was a big thing about that. But now, now that she got blown out of the FBI, Kash Patel, you know, cashed her out. She is now the director of insider risk, the director of insider risk for Microsoft.

I thought you'd get a kick out of that. Some of the other stuff that China did that he talked about and we subsequently found out because of the declassified documents. Notwithstanding the fact that we have Democrats on the Sunday shows and, I mean, Senate intelligence members saying they were never asked and given this information before. And they'd never seen it. And I'm laughing because of course you've never seen it. He just declassified it. How can you call him a liar? But he did because he's an idiot. I don't know if we have sound by any chance. I think it's another one. We're just not our lines got crossed, but that's okay. So we, I think Chris Murphy said it. Be that as it may. Ranking member on the Intel Committee, Senate. And. We find out that, you know, Margaret Brennan of Face the Nation asks him the wrong question. Well, did they give you this information? Did the committee have it? To which he responds, no, Margaret. And I'm shocked and appalled that your station, CBS News, would. Dane to run the president's speech. I'm shocked about that. I mean, words to that effect. I mean, he was like a little girl. I mean, geez, peas. Sorry, sorry. Apologies to little girls. He's actually less mature than little girls. So. This was the lay motif against which the people and the Democrats are treating Trump's speech. Oh, you know, he's just lying. He don't believe him. But they gave far more information and far more deference to the information that came out in 2016 when they faked a Russia, Russia, Russia scandal started a two or three. pronged investigation against Donald Trump because, of course, he was working with spies. Blah, blah, blah. So, of course, that, we had, what, special prosecutors, special counsels. We had impeachments. We had all kinds of things that were as phony. as this light in here. So phony. But you talk about far worse things with China? Oh, yeah. But of course, you know, they talked about it. They've talked about it before. Many, the Democrats have made this a huge issue before. And years, you know, they've had trouble with some of the sheans that are online and stuff like that. You've heard about it forever, Venezuela and all kinds of stuff. And so he releases all these documents. Oh, he's lying. But one of the tenets of this, one of the aspects of this story, which is so interesting, is that the intelligence community, I'm reading from the Tennessee Star, which did an excellent write-up on this, Intelligence Community Files.

released by the White House claim that China paid American journalists, social media influencers, and leveraged relationships with American businesses in order to sabotage President Donald Trump during his first term in the White House with a CIA document claiming the foreign government went as far as to pay journalists to print negative articles. Now, that'll work. You know, like, for example, in the Russia, Russia, Russia thing, they did, what, $115,000 worth of Facebook ads, which went both ways, and they, oh, this is interference. This is terrible. And now you've got people literally getting paid. Now, this is happens. I've been approached by people who've wanted me to write stuff, and I'm shocked because I was considered myself a legitimate journalist, even though I write, I write, um, Commentary. That's all I do now, right? Commentary, do shows, you know, my opinion and stuff like that. But I still use journalistic practices, of course. I mean, you can have your own opinion, but you can't have your own facts. I always keep that in mind. This is one of the things that you have to keep in mind. Well, anyway, I got offered something one time. And I picking up the phone, I'd spoken to this person before, it was regarding another story, which was a blockbuster. And so this person calls me up and then says, hey, we want you to write about this certain aspect of, you know, the health administration or something like that. And I was like, who the hell do you think you're calling here? I go, I said, that, you know, that sounds like, I just said it. That sounds like pay to play. And she was just offended that I said it out loud. That you refused to write a hit piece for money. And, um, I said, I don't do that. That's unethical. I will not do. I'll get paid for my work. There's no integrity when you're paid to have an opinion, not you get paid because of your opinion. Yeah. Yeah. I kind of. That's kind of the way it works with, you know, our website, PG Media. And so anyway, that's my little story. I do not doubt this story about paying the Chinese government, paying for coverage. I don't doubt that in the least. Nothing shocks me anymore. I don't. But I, but I've. This was just the Trump cited a CIA document that showed the agency determined beginning in 2019, China sought to identify U.S. journalists who had reported negatively on the U.S. president and pay them large sums of money to keep writing. Now, okay, is that a legitimate opinion? Okay, that's a, that might be a gray area, but it's not a gray area for me. Like, really? You want to pay? I've, people, I've gotten into trouble for this kind of stuff before. And I didn't need anybody to get into trouble to tell me it was unethical. I already knew that. Having been the president of my, my local SBJ chapter, by the way, SBJ captured by the left, anyway, so there we go. But, so this is.

This all goes back to the CIA, or correction, the FBI lady. The FBI lady who's now working for Microsoft, who said that she felt like she was running a shadow government because she was. Now, and what happened? I mean, this is a, oh, I was just following orders. Well, what happened to Nikki L. Flores? Hey, all you Microsoft people, you'll see her name. on the, you know, the in a return reply thing on the company stationary. Because she, I mean, of course, you know, as her new position as the insider risk individual, she would know. She would actually know what it looks like because she's it. What happened to her after she did this for the Democrats and blew it off the Chinese elements? she was rewarded with a big time elevated jobs. They gave her a promotion. So there you are. There's so much more on this. I'm going to go into this on my podcast tomorrow. And if I find something real juicy, because I like to go through documents and stuff, find something even more juicy, I will relate it to you on Wednesday when I come back. Now, we have time for the Zohran Mamdani information, right? Talking about calling an audible here. So Zohran Mamdani did a interview with the New York Times. And the New York Times lady actually asked him an interesting question. He, now, of course, Zohran Mamdani is the mayor of New York City. He's the commie. He'll call himself a socialist, but even the commies know and have said their top commies said the goal of socialism is communism. Do not be misled. So this is a guy who went to watch a World Cup game with prisoners at Rikers. These are some of the worst of the worst. He wanted to do that because he wanted to let them know that he cares about them and he wants to let them out as soon as possible. He's a guy who doesn't like cops, wants to defund police and let all the prisoners out because that will create more chaos and will create problems for the American people and America will fall as a result. That's the goal. You know this, right? Okay. So he talks about the possibility of arresting because Zohran Mamdani is a, he's not just a Muslim, he's an Islamist. And he hates Jews and he hates Israel. And he wants to arrest. Benjamin Netanyahu when he comes to the United Nations in September. Last question on this topic. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is perhaps planning to visit New York for the UN General Assembly. You pledged during your campaign and after you won to order his arrest to comply within international criminal court warrant, what will happen if he comes in September? I believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu belongs in the Hague. He's a war criminal who...

has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And... what you will find is that is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years. I've also said that I will... You know, this is an opinion that is shared by many is just a phony old excuse for doing what you were going to do anyway because were he to have had somebody else say, you can't possibly do that, he'd just ignore him a dude anyway. Follow the laws that we have here in New York City because I believe that... There is an importance in following the law as a leader who presides over our city, and that's something that I plan to do. Meaning, I'm sorry, I don't understand what that means. Meaning that whatever the law allows me. Let me stop here. To the New York Times reporter, good for you. You go. To do in New York City, that's what we will do, but we won't be writing our own laws to that end. What does the law allow you to do? That's an active conversation with our legal department in seeing what the prospects are we have here in our municipality. However, what we've seen at the national level is a desire sometimes to write your own laws to go outside of the bounds of legality. That's not something we have an interest in. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, he's being very coy there. Oh, ha, ha, ha. I'm just being such a bad boy here. So here's what Marco Rubio said about the international court, international criminal court. He says, yeah, we don't. These guys are crazy. Halfway across the world, there's an institution that calls itself the International Criminal Court. Maybe you've heard of it. Maybe you haven't. But chances are you don't know the names of its judges, of its prosecutors, or its president. And you shouldn't have to. But as we speak, the ICC and its friends are waging a war against our country, not with bullets or missiles, but with statutes and compacts and the force of so-called international law. When the ICC was born 24 years ago, they told us that it was merely a narrow backstop, a global court, that would step in to prosecute only the gravest defenses, things like genocide and war crimes, and only when a nation's courts were unable to prosecute them on their own. But the truth is, It was something far more radical and extreme. It was a global tribunal staffed by unelected globalist bureaucrats who claim their power is almost unlimited. It will not surprise you in the least to know that Jack Smith, the special prosecutor, the special counsel that was queued in and, you know, parachuted in to not work for the actual justice department. That's why he was blown out because, you know. He was going after Trump. He was called in specifically to do this, and he used to work at the ICC. The danger of this global court has only continued to grow. Today, it threatens every aspect of our political and legal system. Border patrol agents removing violent criminals from our country. American Marines risking their lives to defend our homeland. Prosecutors working to dismantle terrorist plots to attack and kill Americans. If we stand idle...

All of them would be at the mercy of foreign judges thousands of miles away, facing the constant risk of prosecution and even imprisonment for the so-called crime of defending their own country. The American people never agreed to any of this. Yeah, see? And they never will. Oh, you know what? Zohran Mamdani would love to take issue with you, Marco Rubio. Let's see, would you prefer to have Zohran Mamdani or would you prefer to have Marco Rubio? I'll take it. Take my chances on Marco. Hmm. Very interesting. Jason, if I didn't know you, my first question would be, do you make these stories up? No, they accepted this proposal. I guess it's a measure of Hamlers. They really don't like Trump, isn't it? Long form. Edmund Fitten Brown, welcome back. I appreciate you talking with me on the Jason Rantz show, as I fell in form today. And so I wanted to know what was going on in your estimation in Iran currently by the United States. How is this war being fought? How is it intensified? What is going on? What's the sit rep today? Well, thanks, Victoria. Obviously, we're now nine nights into the resumed US bombing of Iran. So that was the collapse of the ceasefire and the memorandum of understanding. The reason that that collapsed was because the one thing that the Iranians really had to do under the MOU was to reopen the straight of four moves. But of course, they didn't. And as ships tried to go through the Strait of Hormuz, a number of them were attacked by the Iranians. So President Trump finally lost patience with that and announced that he'd had enough and didn't trust the Iranians anymore, and that the MOU and the ceasefire were dead. So that's where we are at the moment. Now, the Iranians are retaliating. They expanded their own attacks. Obviously, they're still trying to attack ships, but they're also attacking US interests in some of the friendly Arab countries. And there's particularly bad attack on US troops in Jim Jordan, which caused fatalities. And they also attacked a desalination plant in Kuwait, which caused a lot of damage. Not good. Okay, explain. I get the desal plant going for that, but I don't understand why they're attacking Kuwait, nor do I understand why they went to Jim Jordan to lob some missiles. Tell me what their thinking is, if you can make heads or tails of what they're thinking. It's really a matter of capability, Victoria. They don't have the ability to attack the U.S. homeland. They'd love to, but they can't do it. And so they have to look at what they can describe as U.S. targets in the region. Now, you would think that they would be very careful not to alienate some of the Arab countries that are not hostile to them. And obviously the ones I'm thinking of particularly here are Qatar.

and Oman, but they have attacked both Qatar and Oman. And so what they're essentially saying is that anybody who is on the American side or anywhere where the Americans have military bases, that those bases are legitimate targets. And in the sense, it's the fault of the Kuwaitis or Jordanians or whoever for hosting those military targets. I see. So now we are talking about ground troops. We're talking about taking some ground in Iran. It appears to be, is it Kesham Island as well as Karg Island around those parts? What do they hope to accomplish? What do we hope to accomplish by doing that? I know that you're the former, the British former ambassador to Yemen, which puts you in a unique position where you have insight into some of these. the geography of these places. What do you see here? Well, it's, so yes, ground troops obviously would be a big threshold. And of course, President Trump has been very reluctant to go over that threshold. He knows that the American public are very sensitive to the deployment of ground troops. They're very sensitive to starting to take significant casualties. You know, up to now, the U.S. has had a pretty good degree of standoff. and the total number of US casualties in this war going all the way back to the 28th of February is less than 20. So, you know, that's an extremely low casualty rate in any war. And if you start to use ground troops, then, of course, you create much more concentrated static targets, and the Iranians still had enough missiles and drones that they'll be able to engage those static targets. It's obvious why they're considering these islands. Islands are less vulnerable than the mainland. If you put troops on the islands, you've still got a certain amount of standoff. The Iranians don't have any naval forces to speak of. They can't really attack U.S. forces on Khark Island or Keshim Island or Larak Island, if those are the islands that the U.S. is looking at. But the problem is, of course, that the range of missiles and drones... is perfectly sufficient for them to attack those islands from the Iranian mainland. Now, the significance of those islands, including one that you mentioned, Khag Island is not in the Strait of Hormuz. It's far up the Gulf, very close to Kuwait.

I see. But it's where 90% of Iranian oil is processed and goes on to, it loads it onto ships. And so that would be a body blow to the Iranian oil export, or the oil industry and their oil export earnings. So that's one. Haig Island is one of the islands that has been talked about as a potential U.S. target. Then, as you quite rightly said, you have Peshem Island, which is talked about, which is very important as the largest. island in the Persian Gulf and also the obviously the largest island in the region of the Strait of Hormuz. And then people also have talked about Larak Island. That's east of Keshim Island, and it's a centrepiece of Iran's maritime strategy. It's used to monitor and direct commercial shipping traffic passing through the strait. It's basically the island that really sort of sits right on the strait and therefore effectively is the guard post to the strait. So you can see what the American thinking is behind possibly occupying. all of these three islands or any one of them, and they could take them easily. There's no doubt that the U.S. is capable of taking the island. The danger is that if you then have several thousand U.S. troops occupying those islands, you will eventually get much more serious casualties when there's a drone or a missile strike. What is the strength of the Iranian regime now, Edmund? The strength. I would say, you know, in many ways it's a fragmented regime, but it's held together by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. And there's this guy, General Vahidi, who is the head of the IRGC, probably the single most powerful man in Iran at the moment. But there are complexities to this. One is the status of the supreme leader. We know that Mujtama Ali Khamenei, the son of the deceased former leader, Ali Khamenei. We know that he was appointed as the new supreme leader. We don't know the state of his health. He's believed to be severely injured in the same strike that killed his father. But of course, we don't know... for absolute certain that he is still alive. He might have been killed or he might not, he might be only partially functional.

and he hasn't been seen in public since that strike that killed his father. But various Iranian figures have said that they've talked to him and they then cite him as an authority. Now, there is it. I follow that channel on, you know, the app. And I just crack up every time I see one of his messages. Oh, yeah, that's you all right. No. In fact, I heard he was, he booked town. I thought he got the heck out of Iran. Any, any? I think if he did get out of terror armies, probably kept somewhere, say, elsewhere in the country, you know, it was a strange decision by his... father, really, to think that he could sort of get away with just staying in Tehran, having, once it was apparent that there was likely to be another resumption of hostilities with the US and Israel. In the case of Mujtaba, this is interesting. When they chose him, he wasn't particularly controversial as a choice because he was already, he was his father's son, so there was an element of continuity. And he already played a leading role as part of the Iranian leadership under his father. It would be more controversial to pick somebody who was a relatively unknown quantity. And I think even if Mujtaba is not functioning or if he's dead, they don't want to have to go through the controversy of trying to choose a more difficult. You make a more difficult choice for a new leader. And so there is a possibility that they're playing weekend at Bernice here. That's possible. And by the way, there is a history of this in the world of jihadis. The Afghan Taliban did this with Mullah Omar. They pretended that he was still alive for several years after he died. So, you know, who knows? We can't be sure about much tab of status. But the important thing I think to note here is that with the IRGC in control, that means the hardliners are in control. And it also means that anybody who might have an idea of compromise, like, for example, Mohammed Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who has been one of the main negotiators with the Americans. and who I think the Americans were slightly optimistic, you know, that he might have the ability to negotiate a compromise that the US could live with. But of course, as soon as he seems to be ready to make any concessions to Americans, he's immediately unsafe because the IRGC are jealously watching him. Okay, well, I was going to ask you about Pickax Mountain, but I think I will ask you about that tomorrow when we do the Iran sit rep on the adult in the room podcast. Oh, man, oh man. Last few minutes of the program, and I'm not going to waste your time. It's going to be great. Very fascinating. So I got this excellent message on the text line at 800, 465877. And so Kelly writes, Tehran is facing a perfect storm. Oh, this is so frightening. Long before the war, the city was already sinking up to 30 centimeters. 12 inches every year because decades of reckless groundwater extraction permanently collapsed the aquifers beneath it. And she brought receipts to. I'm assuming it's a woman. It could be a man. No hate. Either one, you can be whatever you want to be. This is America. Anyway, sent me a story. So extensive urbanization and concrete development have prevented rainwater from naturally recharging those underground reservoirs, leaving the ground unstable, and causing roads, buildings, metro stations, critical infrastructure to crack and deform. Huh. Now, add months of war. Thousands of buildings have been damaged or destroyed. Fuel depots, industrial facilities have been hit, key military and government infrastructure has been targeted, and entire neighborhoods have suffered extensive destruction. The capital now faces an enormous challenge of rebuilding on land that is literally sinking beneath it. Wow. Reconstructing a modern city is difficult under the best of circumstances. Reconstructing one whose foundations are collapsing is another matter entirely. And it's, Tehran's greatest long-term threat may not be what fell from the sky. It may well be what is disappearing beneath the ground. Unless Iran fundamentally reforms its water management, every reconstruction project will be built on it increasingly. unstable foundations. This is from a publication. It's called Science Alert. Interesting. This was put out in 2018. So interesting. Let's see if it's actually as bad as it sounds. Sounds terrible. Good grief. Well, at that rate, Tehran's eight feet lower than when that article came out. I mean, practically. Right? I mean, it's crazy, right? I mean, I'd like to see some proof. I also wanted to. Is this going to matter? Is they, are they just going to turn into a crater in Tehran? Tehran is an ancient city. It is, you know, foundational, foundational cities.

It's something else. Anyway, so I'm going to talk to Edmund again tomorrow. Maybe I'll bring this up. This is really interesting. He might be able to debunk it. Who knows? Guy's just super smart.
