Three people dead, two injured following a crash in Weld County. This happened Saturday on West Weld County Road 80 east of Alt. The state patrol says the Chevy Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed and then veered off the road and into a ditch. The driver and four passengers all ejected. Three were from Eaton, one from Greeley, the driver from Wyoming. The Eaton School District says the three who died and one other were 2025 graduates of Eaton High School.

More than 125 firefighters from 10 agencies now working on the new Penley fire, which is threatening homes in Douglas County. Joe White with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the county is the only one in the state with a hell attack firefighting chopper. It makes a big impact because this was hard to get fire crews. It's not easy to get fire crews up to that. and get our hand crews working those lines. Evacuations have been ordered around five miles southwest of Sedalia. The New Hope Church in Castle Rock was open for a shelter. It is since closed because the sheriff's office said it is no longer needed. Progress being made in the Aspen Acres fire, that fire now at 64% containment. Here's operations chief Ben Wagner. Still just using heavy equipment up there, taking out fuels that might pose a problem in the future, you know, following this rain, looking long game down the road. Any of that fire perimeter starts to wake up. Our long-term strategic plan is still valid. All evacuation zones have been reduced to pre-evacuation or clear status. Wildfires not limited to North America as the fires continue to scorch parts of Europe. Terrifying wildfires fueled by bone-dry conditions and high winds, forcing some 300,000 people in Spain and France to plead their homes. Authorities calling the conditions in Francis Girond region home to the country's famous Bordeaux wine, among the worst they have ever seen, fires scorching an area four times the size of Paris. That's ABC's Marcus Moore at the Foreign Desk. The Denver Public School Board holding a special meeting this morning to discuss concerns raised by Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero. The DPS leader has claimed the DPS School Board is overstepping its authority, and it's become increasingly untenable for him. Chalkbeat obtained the full email. Marrero sent the board in June, claiming board members are too involved in administrative matters and that the body is failing to hold itself accountable. Chockbeat also reports if the DPS board changes its governance style, Marrero can deem it as a termination of his contract. And if he's terminated without cause, he would be owed nearly $350,000 a year's salary. Rob Dawson at K-Away. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu heading to the U.S. this week as the White House considers a new expansion of military force against Iran. We know that the two speak often. Trump has said in recent months, they talk just about every two days. You'd imagine that Iran will probably dominate the conversation between the President and Benjamin Netanyahu, but you also might expect that Trump will bring up Lebanon. He's been critical of how Benjamin Netanyahu has targeted Hezbollah in recent months. That's ABC's Stephen Portnoy. The conflict nearing five months and a new survey of more than 2,000 respondents shows that roughly 80% believe the Trump administration has struggled more than expected. About 2 and 10 respondents of the CBS News, UGov poll, say that the war has gone as smoothly as anticipated. When Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu launched the campaign in late February, Trump predicted it would take four to six weeks to dismantle rounds nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

Three people dead, four others injured, following a mass shooting at the Bite of Seattle Food Festival. Officers responded and addressed one of the shooters. That person gave up and was taken into custody. There was another person that we believe that was also involved that fled the scene. And officers began an active search for that person. That's Tyrone Davis, but Seattle Police, an active search is still on for the second suspect. Still very hot today for the Denver area temperatures in the mid-90s. Airs Fox 31 meteorologist Liz McGiffon. By about 3 to 5 o'clock that we start to get a few showers, a couple thunderstorms, especially across those higher elevations. Denver could quickly be in the midst of a few showers as well. We'll have scattered thunderstorms for the Denver area pretty much all week with most today, tomorrow and Wednesday. The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance mourning the loss of one of their camels. The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance says the six-year-old camel was one of the favorites of the zoo community. Kerry Mack, joining us with the latest check of business and money news as the U.S. will begin a phased opening of the country's southern cattle ports. This decision by the Department of Agriculture on Friday will allow a limited amount of cattle to be imported from Mexico after the ports were closed in May to control the spread of a new world screw warm outbreak. The USDA will reopen the livestock port in Douglas, Arizona, on August 24th. Other ports will also reopen, depending on Mexico's compliance with the Joint Action Plan. And the jackpots for the mega millions and powerball lotteries continue to grow.

Nearly one and a half billion dollars will be up for grabs this week. Saturday night's Powerball drawing failed to produce a big winner, so an estimated 633 million bucks is on the line for Monday night. Meanwhile, Tuesday's megamillion's jackpot jumped to 800 million bucks since no tickets matched all six numbers in Friday's drawing. Just go buy a ticket. Somebody's got to win. Might as well be you. Hey, or me. I'm Lisa Carton. Shyam Frontier Days wrapped up on Sunday with thousands of people flooding to the daddy of them all for a week and a half of rodeos, concerts, and summer fun. These crowds not only generate revenue for the actual event, but they also boost the local economy. Lisa Murphy, a former Miss Rodeo, Wyoming, former Frontier Days board member and chairperson says the massive event generates revenue for nearby businesses as well. And our businesses are open. You know, my family is here from Idaho. I've been taking them around the community. We went to some of the antique shops yesterday, and they were open, and a lot of people were enjoying those. Murphy goes on to say, while this is a largely volunteer-run event, all of the revenue generated from Chey and Frontier Days goes back into the infrastructure of the park and the local community. They're open and enjoying the tourism that Chey and Frontier Days brings to our community. It's lovely. You're up to day on the latest business and money news. Carrie Mack, K-O-A. Let's take a look at your early Monday morning drive. We head to the K-OA Traffic Center and say good morning to you. Happy Monday. We are off and running in pretty good shape. We do have that lingering paving operation on C470 at Ken Carroll. It's westbound lanes. They should be wrapping up here before too long. It slows you down a little bit, but kind of a hazard through there. Just be extra careful. Now, we do have a closure out east on I-70. This occurred yesterday. It's because the road started buckling. This is I-70, a stretch eastbound around Bennett and Strasbourg. What they're doing is they're taking traffic off and actually literally running them through Bennett along U.S. 36 and then back on to I-70. So that's going to be a problem. Westbound is open, but eastbound if you're heading out onto the planes. Everything else good, wide open air almost everywhere, I-25 included. We'll keep you advised. Jonathan Steele on K.A. 8.m. and 94.1 FM.

The Rockies ran into Kryptonites Sunday in Milwaukee. Simple as that. It's in the form of Brewer's pitcher Jacob Mizorowski. Mizorowski gets Hunter Goodman. And another strikeout. 11Ks. He strikes out the side for the third time. Mizorowski strikes out 11 of the first 12 Rockies hitters he faces. Goes five allows only one hit and one run. Brewer's relievers, relievers, finished off the Rockies of the rest of the way, giving up only one other run. Carrig reaching for an off-speed pitch, sends it in the air to left field. Truro is there, and that's the game. The Brewers win the finale and take the series. Final score, Milwaukee 11, and the Rockies 2. Jack Corrigan here on K-O-A, it's on the San Diego to play the Padres on Tuesday. Sunday was Hall of Fame Day in Cooperstown. Three new inductees, Carlos Beltran, Andrew Jay Jones, and Jeff Kent. I was here long before me. It's going to be long after I sit back down. But standing up here with these guys sitting behind me, I've never felt. More humbled and more grateful in my entire life. Kent is the first second baseman to join the Hall of Fame since Craig Biggio of the Astros in 2015. San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan seriously injured in a car crash. He broke his nose, three ribs, his hand, needed over 40 stitches in his face and suffered a severe concussion in the wreck on July 14th. Shanahan's vehicle collided with another SUV near his home in Northern California. In the nation's capital, Denver Summit FC playing the Washington Spirit, Summit loses 1-0. There was a second half penalty kick that was called, then he raced, that could have made a difference in the game. From the Common Spirit Health, K-OA News desk, I'm Steve Mark on the radio home of the Rockies, Broncos, and buffs, and KOA sports this afternoon at 3. Colorado's morning news. KOA News Time 517. One person dead, four others injured after a lightning strike on Mount Blue Sky. The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office was called to the summit of the 14 or around 1.30 yesterday afternoon. A teen was killed. Another hiker airlifted to the hospital. Three others suffered minor injuries. An investigation underway after a body was found in a tunnel under I-25 in Adams County. Firefighters responded to smoke in the tunnel under the bridge at I-25 and 70th Avenue Saturday morning. That's when they located. it's still working to identify the victim and determine the cause of death. A pause in the strikes between the U.S. and Iran. The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations says President Trump wants to give peace talks with Tehran some space. Iran claims it will also halt attacks as long as the United States does the same. President Trump has been considering launching a new, quote, massive strike if Tehran does not make a deal. That's Fox's Rich Hudson. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to Washington today to meet with President Trump.

And after eight years of construction and over 25 years of planning, a new bridge between Detroit and Canada's opening today. The Gordi Howe International Bridge boasts more lanes and more scanner technology than the 96-year-old Ambassador Bridge. Coming up with troubles plague both political parties. We'll take a look in just a minute. Taking a look at your early Monday morning drive first with Jonathan Steele in the K-OA traffic center. Yeah, still pretty quiet. Not allowed to contend with. That's paving operation down on C-4. 70 at King Carroll. It may slow you down just a little bit. If you're heading up along the foothills, looks great. No problem on I-70, U.S. 6, or any of those routes right now. Even the mountain roads are in good shape, too. Now, we do have the good buildup up north, I-25, starting to see a little bit of traffic, I-76-270, all the way out to east, of course, with the road damage that occurred over the weekend. They had to close a portion of I-70 eastbound, Bennett to Strasbourg. They're detouring traffic basically on 36 out there, so it's going to... to be a major inconvenience. Not seeing any delays related to that at this point. Jonathan Steele on K-A-850am and 94-1 FM. Hey, it's Ryan Sechrest here, and I have discovered a fun to escape from the daily grind Chumba Casino. Gina Gondack on Colorado's morning news, while we're less than 100 days away now from the midterm elections, both parties dealing with their own unique issues from messy primaries and concerns over Democratic Socialists for the Democratic Party. to a war with no end in sight for President Trump sounding the alarm from some Republicans. Joining us on the K-Wa Commons Amy Coney Barrett Health hotline with the latest as ABC News, political analyst Steve John Roberts. Steve, appreciate your time. As always, tell us a little bit more about some of the challenges that we see from both parties. It's really different of what we're seeing for both because some are trying to use it as a strength and others' weaknesses of either side. Yeah, well, one is the incumbent party is one is the challenger party. So their views of the current situation very different. Look, Republican problems are well known. Donald Trump's average national favorable rating is a 39% unfavorable, 59. And the latest escalation of the war, the collapse of the negotiations and the escalation of the war in Iran, has two. major impacts on domestic politics. One is Americans simply don't like the war. President Trump, as we all know, promised to avoid these kind of foreign wars, and if anything, he continues to attack. But there's a domestic fallout there because he's in a very difficult position. If he escalates the battle there to try to force Iran to the negotiating table, if he closes off the Strait of Hormuz and chokes off oil supplies, if he bombs the oil infrastructure that Iran has, the result is higher prices, and that is a huge political problem. Brown University did a very interesting study, Tina. They calculated that the start of the war. 74 billion, billion dollars extra American consumers have paid in fuel costs as a result of the war, which comes out to about $567 for every American household. So. Trump is staggering. Republicans are staggering under that basic fact. But at the same time, Democrats have their own problems. And I think it doesn't get quite enough attention that these victories of Democratic Socialists in New York and Colorado and a couple of other places. really hands the Republicans a very strong weapon. The biggest vulnerability Democrats have had for years is the argument that Trump has made very effectively that they're out of touch with ordinary Americans.

20:23

and that they're a party of the coastal elites of Berkeley and Cambridge, not of middle America. And these Democratic Socialists, particularly because many of them were elected in New York, which increases their visibility because of the media companies that are centered in that city, this has handed Republicans a weapon they did not expect. And so... This is some good news for Republicans as well, and Trump is very effective at utilizing that weapon. So both parties, as we head into these final 100 days, are struggling with certain problems. It's really hard to say, but when you look at average American voters, do you think that they are debating, well, do I even vote at all if I don't like a Democratic socialist? Do I not support a Republican if he or she is endorsed by President Trump? Do you think people are almost getting jaded or just deciding, well, maybe I don't support either? Well, that's a very good point. And this is always a problem, particularly in off-year elections. You know, when you have a presidential election on the top of the ballot, many folks who are not deeply interested in politics don't pay a lot of attention, are drawn into the campaign because of the pervasiveness of presidential politics, and particularly when you have a magnetic candidate like Trump, like Ronald Reagan, who motivate a lot of folks who don't normally vote. And so in many ways, the biggest problem, particularly facing Republicans, is not that their core voters are going to somehow turn into Democrats and that they're somehow going to abandon the Republican Party. Their biggest risk is they're not going to vote at all. And you're right to point that out. Turnout becomes an incredibly important issue. And as you have these, you know, in the latest Gallup poll, 44% of Americans said the economy was poor. Only 22% said it was good. And then a new study out just this week showed about one out of five Republican voters. Listless was the word they used and potentially not voting. Very few of those people are actually going to go vote Democratic. But if they stay home, this is the biggest threat to Republicans. And Democrats have some of the same problem, but they're more energized because of Trump. It's not that they're energized by some great love for the Democratic Party. That's not what's happening in this election. The core factor is that Democrats can galvanize their voters simply by saying.

23:06

let's get rid of Trump or let's hamper Trump, let's cripple Trump in his last two years. Republicans don't have the same motivation. So the question of turnout is absolutely critical. ABC News, political analyst at Steve John Roberts. Jonathan Steele joining us with a look at our early Monday morning drive in the K-Wa Traffic Center. Yep, looking good so far. Not much going on. Of course, that paving operation on C470 tends to slow traffic a little bit, but they'll be wrapping up before too long. I'm sure we'll start to see some slowdowns up Clear Creek Canyon. Probably in the 6 o'clock hour that starts up near Tunnel 1, west of Golden. So far, it's a pretty fast track. I-25 southbound, the ramp getting on to eastbound 2.7. with it down to one lane, it always does tend to back up. That's one of the first delays we usually see every morning there. But everything else is good. 225 is wide open. If you're heading to the airport on Peña, about 15 minutes from I-70 to the terminal. Jonathan Steele on K.O.A. 8.50 a.m. and 94.1 FM. K-O-A news time 530. Gina Gondack on Colorado's morning news, 8.50 a.m., 94-1 FM, and on the I-Hurt radio app. Fox 31 pinpoint weather. Still hot, not as hot is what we saw over the weekend, but still warm. High temperature will be in the low to mid-90s this afternoon. Good chance of some thunderstorms as well. Overnight low will be in the upper 60s and the 90s stick around for much of this week with some rain chances. ramping up come Wednesday. Currently partly cloudy skies and 77 in Denver. Three people dead, two injures. following a crash in Weld County. It happened Saturday night at West Weld County Road 80 at Weld County Road 39 east of old. Colorado State Patrol says a Chevy Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed and veered off the road into a ditch. The driver and four passengers ejected from the car. A new fire in Douglas County forcing some evacuations a few miles southwest of Sedalia. Joe White with the sheriff's office says the county is the only one in the state with a helotac firefighting chopper. That helicopter is super important right now as it's getting up there and it's getting in those really risky areas. More than 20 homes have been under evacuation orders. The fire, though, is only about three acres. Lightning struck and killed a person in Clear Creek County. It happened Sunday afternoon on Mount Blue Sky, the former Mount Evans up above Idaho Springs. First responders from multiple agencies were called to the 14ers summit around 120. A teenager was killed and another hiker airlifted to the hospital. Three others had minor injuries. 64-year-old Dennis Elkins crashed near Sioux City Friday night. Elkins left Wisconsin after an aviation event. When his family didn't hear from him, his aircraft was then tracked to his last known location near the town of Lawton just outside of Sioux City. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating the cause of the crash. The Denver Public School Board holding a special meeting this morning with the superintendent, Dr. Alex Marrero. The meeting is in response to an email Dr. Marrero sent the board last month, and it was obtained by Education Publication Chalkbeat. Marrero claims that members are overstepping their authority and are too involved in administrative matters. The DPS School Board has a policy governance model, which sets goals for the superintendent to reach, but the model doesn't direct the superintendent on how to reach them. Marrero could deem a change in governance as a termination of contract, and if he's terminated without cause, he's owed a year of his salary, about 350,000. Rob Dawson, K-O-A. A shooting between two people leaving multiple victims injured and three dead at the site of the Seattle Food Festival. Right now we believe that we have no outstanding threat to the community. We do have one suspect that is being interviewed. We've recovered two guns. It's one of the thing to note, one of the four victims that was taken to the hospital was a toddler. That's Tyrone Davis with the Seattle Police Department. An active search is still ongoing for the second suspect. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu heading to Washington today to meet with President Trump. The Prime Minister visits come during a period of calm between the U.S. and Iran. We heard from the ambassador for the U.S. to the U.N. Mike Walls go on several Sunday shows yesterday, talking about how this pause, which he acknowledged is happening, is to give some diplomacy a chance. But there's also this reporting out from the New York Times that suggests that one of the reasons that the U.S. has stood down from some of its attacks were because of this depleting. stockpile of Patriot Interceptor missiles that are so crucial to warding off and protecting U.S. personnel and assets in this part of the world from those Iranian drone attacks. That's ABC's Matt Rivers and Jim Jordan on the Start Here podcast. Roughly 80% respondents to a new survey believe the U.S. bombardment of Iran has been more of a struggle after nearly five months than the Trump administration expected. In a new CBS News UGov poll, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister of Benjamin Netanyahu launched the campaign in late February, Trump predicted that it would be taking four to six weeks to dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Our hot stretch continues in the Denver area today, the record 98 degrees set back in 1964. The one thing that could keep us a few degrees shy of that 98 degree mark? Denver has a good chance of some afternoon thunderstorms today, tomorrow and Wednesday. The Odyssey leaked online over the weekend. Let's check the latest business and money news with Carrie Mac this morning as fuel prices are creeping up again. This comes as the U.S. launched strikes against Iran for almost two weeks. Oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg survey predicts a pause in the strikes won't do much to bring the prices down. We also have strong rhetoric on both sides, predicting all-out war, dirty war, et cetera, et cetera. And so the oil market is again threatened the supply. coming out of the region are again deemed in danger. There are no plans to relocate the store or continue operations online. You're up today on the latest business and money news. Carrie Mack, K-O-A. Let's go now to the K-OA Traffic Center with the check of your drive. Here's Jonathan Steele. Here we're seeing a few folks hit the streets here early this morning. There is a bit of a tie-up developing southbound 25. It's the ramp to eastbound 270. It's down to one lane. It's a pretty long ramp there, but it's actually backed up now on the I-25. So we definitely have an increase in volume coming out of North Glen and Thornton, and that will be a bit of a delay straight ahead of you if you're continuing on I-25 into downtown. We're still good on speeds as well as to and from the town. center. C470 still some lingering paving going on near Ken Carroll. That tends to slow a little bit down there on that southwest corner, and it is westbound only. And then we have a closure on I-70 out to the east. It's all because the road started buckling. I believe that was yesterday. This is around Bennett and Strasbourg. It's the eastbound lanes completely closed, so they are detouring traffic onto Highway 36 and then eventually back on to I-70. Jonathan Steele on at K-Wa-8 at 9401. have. Gina contact on Colorado's morning news in his state of the city address. Delivering the plan to deliver on child care for all before the end of our second term. Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, making some big promises, including plans to establish universal child care in the Mile High City. We carried the... promise universal education to kindergarten, then to preschool, but tonight we carry it the rest of the way. Tonight we carry it to universal child care for every family in Denver. Last week, Ross Kaminsky and I spoke with Denver Mayor Mike Johnston. First, as he described, what does universal child care mean? Yeah, so what we are after is idea that every kid that's born in Denver can get access to child care from birth up and through kindergarten. What that means is that there are enough slots, there's enough capacity, and it's affordable to people at a rate that they can manage. And so what we, is a really good example. This is the Denver preschool program. It does this currently for four-year-olds, which is there are slots that are open. You can apply through one location, just like a school district. And then people pay on a sliding scale according to their income. So lowest-income folks don't pay anything at all. Higher-income folks like me would pay a share of the cost. And so it's not.

41:44

a universal subsidy, but it's a way to make the system affordable for everyone. So you guarantee that everyone has access. And just one quick follow-up. So how much have you thought about sort of the big picture here, how much it will cost, how many years you can cover how big the subsidies will be? Like, how far along is this in the financial modeling? Well, the financial modeling is not that far along yet, because our first question is actually what kind of care to people want. So I think it's naive for us to assume now that everyone just says, hey, I need Monday, Friday, 8 to 3. And I want my kid to be in a licensed care spot next to my work. You might have folks that say, I only want three days a week because my mom covers two days a week. I work three night shifts. I need Wednesday, Friday, Sunday evenings, or I need weekends, but not weekdays. I think our first question is what kind of system does do Denver residents want us to build? And once they tell us what they want that to look like, we'll try testing and piloting that design, and then we'll see if that design works, and then we'll do the financials on what it costs. But we don't want to presume a one-size-fits-all system here until we hear from residents on what the actual needs are they have and what the gaps are. So I assume these proposed listening sessions will really be the getting the ball rolling and deciding what this universal child care plan would look like. And have you had any type of polling of where you think Denver residents may stand right now on a universal child care program? We haven't done any polling on it. I've definitely heard from folks all around the city. And what we know is this is the most expensive thing that every Denver family pays for if you have kids other than your rent. You know, we have people paying $25,000 for a child care slot. We have... 30,000 kids who need care and we have 4,000 slots currently. So it's not just that people can't afford it, it's that they literally can't get it. We have moms who can't go back to work at all because they can't find child care. And if you're paying 50 grand for two kids, it might not be worth going back to work sometimes. And so I think we know how real the need is. I think we want to figure out how to build the right design that serves that need and build it the right way. Making other people pay for something doesn't mean it's free. And so whatever this ends up costing the money is going to have to come from somewhere. So do you imagine, again, whether this ends up being an enormous thing or a more modest thing, do you imagine the money coming out of existing revenue streams or do you think there will need to be a new revenue stream, a new sales tax, a new something? I think there, T Ross, it depends how we design it. Like, there are a lot of places that do this where they are employer-sponsored, right? We have some employers right now that run child care facilities out of their workplace, and they help carry a percentage of that cost, and it's a benefit to their employees. So there could be a scenario where employers part of it. There could be a scenario where we have, you know, regional partnerships. There could be a scenario. We use existing dollars, federal dollars. They call it. you know, blending and braiding because there are so many different revenue sources at federal, state, and local level that support early childhood, but they're very hard to access for a parent. You've got to apply 17 different places. So our goal is let's get all the resources we have in one place and then see what the gap is and then see who could fill it. But I think that we don't have any assumptions on what that would cost or who would pay for it at this stage. We think that's all to be listened to.

That's Denver Mayor Mike Johnston. You can find the full conversation by going to the podcast section at K-O-A Colorado.com. K-O-A news time 557. Wrapping up the show here on Colorado's morning news as Roskiminski trudges into the studio this morning with no crutches, trudges with no crushes. Excellent word choice. It's good to see you somewhat walking normally. Question mark. I've been a little aggressive. It's been a little over a month now since the surgery. So my doctor said, my doctor said I could be off the crutches if I'm on level ground. no inclines, right, and take very small strides. Because with small strides, you don't put any stress on the hamstring. Oh. So that's what I'm doing. So you don't have to deal with any stairs getting in here, right? No, I don't because I park in the front because I got the little handicapped sticker for a month or something. And so I can come in without having to go on stairs. But I've been cheating a little bit. Uh-oh. So he said use the crutches on the stairs. And as of yesterday, I started doing the stairs without the crutches. And what I'm doing, this is how I was doing it before. I'm going up by raising the good leg first, putting the good foot and then pushing up on the leg that didn't have surgery. And then going down by putting the leg that did have surgery down the step, which is what they told me to do when I was on crutches. So it's staying relatively straight. Yeah. And the reason I'm doing that is not just because I don't want to use crutches, even though I don't. It's because I felt like I've had some risk of tripping using crutches on stairs. And I feel like the risk of using crutches on stairs is higher than the risk of not at this point. But it's nice to be kind of mobile again. It still hurts a little bit, but it's not bad. So I'm crutch free and you won't hear the noise of the crutch is banging in Gina's newscast anymore. which I didn't realize was getting through a little sound effect. We got a really interesting show. We've got a couple of fascinating guests. And in all my years on Colorado Radio, this would be my first time ever talking to him. And I'm really looking forward to that Gina and I will have a conversation with him revolving around his new book called Borderlands, my fight for an inclusive America. But I think it'll be an interesting and wide-ranging conversation. That's coming up at 8 o'clock. Lots of stuff to do before then. it here for Ross on the News with Gina. Ryan C Crest here.
