And for the, I believe, first time ever, not being heard this morning right now on AM 560 WVOC. Good morning, Christopher. Good morning, Kelly. This is like a historic day. Well, let's hope it doesn't last long. Yeah, we're not really sure how long AM 560 will be down. We had just been informed over the weekend that there was some sort of incident at the transmitter. You know, was it an intentional incident? Was it not? We don't know. We don't know who did it. There's, I guess, probably some sort of an investigation. Could it be a homeless person who did something to the transmitter? Could be. Could it be someone who has been threatened by our strong opinions. Could be that as well. They're trying to silence us, Christopher. I'm going to take it like that. I'm going to take it as a challenge that they're trying to silence us. And we won't be silence. We won't be shut up. We won't go quietly into the night. All right. Coast to coast ended at 5 a.m. So we don't need to start the conspiracy theories. We don't need to, but we like to. It's fine. The problem is, you know, that site is on the river. And the last time we had an incident there was the flood of 2015, and it took a long time. to get that transmitter fixed. We're crossing our fingers. It's not going to be nearly that long this time around. Did they have the iHeart radio app in 2015? I don't know that that existed yet, did it? I can't remember if we... I want to say we did. I think so. If we did, not many people were probably using that type of technology yet. They were still, like, a lot of phones were still like to flip phones back then. It's like a living in the 1900s kids. But anyway, the point being is, yes, you can still listen on FM 103.5 if you're in the Midlands. Obviously, no effect to 943 WSC Charleston. But as we've always been encouraging people, a great option is the I-Hurt radio app, which technology gets better and better and better. There's no need for you to have any static or to drive out of range at any point.

And he was kind of bragging about the fact that they now had the technology to actually accept phone calls. Like they were excited about that, that this is a... You know, it's a new way because typically it had been like letters to the editors. That was how people expressed their opinions previously. But now through the miracle of telephones now being patched into the board, and it still sounded horrible because I think what the guys used to have to do is like push a button on the telephone like handset receiver in order to kind of mute themselves and let the other person talk. And it sounded horrible. And it was not. Very good technology. Obviously, that improved over time, and by the 80s and 90s, people were calling in regularly. But it was always a pain in the butt. I used to try to call radio stations. I had opinions, and I could never get through. Phones were busy, or you'd sit on hold for 20 or 30 minutes trying to get through nowadays. No fuss, no must. You just pop off. It's an instantaneous pop off. It's even easier, I'd say, than going on social media and typing your thoughts. Sure. This is just you talking into it. And, you know, depending on your following, we probably have a lot more of an audience than your Facebook page or your ex account or something like that. So your opinion, your hot takes, may actually start something here. Blast your voice out to the world. That's what we want you to do. Blast your voice. And my goodness, we're looking at polls after polls and it's not looking good for, first off, on the national level, the Democrats right now have a 52% favorable poll on CNN. Republicans are now down into the 30s. Independence look at Republicans right now, 77% unfavorable.

So nationally, we're not doing very well. If you look at the local polls that are going on here, we got a new poll out on Sunday, I think it was. Darlene Graham goes to number one on this poll. She's at 21%. Ralph Norman, 17%. Interesting, Pamela Evitt, unless there are some news I missed, is not even running. She's at 10%. And then Mark Lynch, Russell Fry, Mark Sanford, all three. tied at 7%. And for some reason, Nancy Mace's name is still in here at 3%. And then Duke Buckner. Now, they say that this poll was taken on July 21st, 600 likely voters for the upcoming special election. I can't believe that Pamela Evitt is doing almost as well here when she's not running after running so hard for the governor. And maybe people think she's still running for that governor's race. And they're just transferring that, their image of her in that race over to this poll. There are some questions about this poll. It was done by Rick Quinn. Drew McIntyre here from WWE. There are a lot of people who still don't even know who Darling Graham is. And she's not helping the situation by not talking to the media. She has done no media so far. There are a lot of undecideds. And keep in mind this poll was taken before Mark Sanford entered the race. And he's not officially in until he files today, but this was before he announced he was running. The Darlene Graham. mystery filing incident i don't know if it how active you are on social media i think depends on what you know about darling graham but right now the the mood on i'll just say social media regarding darling graham has been becoming more and more negative because when she walked into file And I'm going to try to give her every benefit of the doubt. All right. So she came into file. There was a bunch of local media standing outside. Somebody said, will you answer some questions? And somebody else on her behalf said, well, first she has to file. Then we'll come on out and make a statement. She came out and she made a statement. The statement basically, in essence, was, I'm excited to be in the race now officially. And it's a very difficult time for my family as we're getting ready to bury my brother. I ask for, she kept using the word grace. I ask for your grace during this period. Is that, yes, it's understandable that you're asking for that. At the same time, you're also running in a three-week primary where people literally have no idea who you are. At this point, Christopher Thompson, Kelly Nash.

Do not know. Is your legal last name, Graham or Nordome? We don't even know that. Has that been reported yet somewhere officially? Because I keep saying it. reported in different publications different ways. But on the ballot, it looks like it's going to be Darlene Graham. But, yeah, you have to talk to the media. You don't have to talk to me. I understand. If you don't want to talk to me, that's okay. But at least talk to the local television outlets. Let somebody sit down with you and talk to you for a few minutes because there's a wide world of questions which are being raised, which I think are very serious concerns. Do you not align with Lindsey Graham when it came to birth and abortions? And being pro-life? I mean, are you not that part? Are you not in line with him? Because he was very, very pro-life. She does not seem to have that same fervor, we'll say, for pro-life policies. I don't know. It seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot right now. Yeah. It's highly negative the reaction to her dodging questions. She's done one interview, and that was the Sean Hannity recorded it. I mean, it was really a canned piece. Are you running? Yes. Here's why I'm running. I want to succeed my brother and carry on his legacy. That was it. We didn't learn anything more about her in that interview and haven't learned anything about her since. And yes, she deserves some grace. She's mourning her brother. But. We are in this compressed period where we're getting ready to vote for one of the most important people to represent South Carolina in Washington. We need to know more about you. And trying to give grace. How about this for Grace? You're in a highly emotional state right now because your brother, also known as what apparently, I described him as a father figure. Apparently she described him as both a mother and a father figure to her. So basically the way you're mourning right now is you've lost your parents and your brother two weeks ago. This is a highly emotional state. Perhaps you do want to be in politics. Today's not the day to make that decision. When you're in a highly emotional state, it's not the best time to make lifetime decisions. So maybe sit this one out and we'll see you again in a few years. That might be the best thing for, because if you can't get up and answer questions and campaign the way you're supposed to, and I'm not saying that that's your fault because I do understand that you're going through this, perhaps now is not the best time for you to run. Agreed, but too late now, she's filed. She's in. If that's the case, if you're in, then it's time to start talking. Yes, you can't have it both ways. You can't ask for the grace of nobody's going to probe into my personal life while at the same time saying, I want your vote. Because now we're trying to learn. I mean, I know more about Mark Lynch.

And I never even heard of Mark Lynch until sometime in the middle of this summer. I know a lot more about Mark Lynch than I know about Darling Graham. I know a lot more about Nancy Mace. I know a ton more about Mark Sanford. I know about Russell Fry a little bit more than I know about you. And there's no need for me to have ever known. Russell Fry's never represented me. You know, he's not, this is, he's not my representation, but I know more about him than I know about Darlene Graham. And I certainly know a boatload about Pamela Evitt and Ralph Norman compared to you. You need to play catch up right now and get out. But apparently, look, is it insane to think that they're just trying to model it off the Biden campaign where we're just taking the name? We're going to put it in the basement. We're going to say it's a great name. What a great name. Isn't that a wonderful name? Don't South Carolinians have wonderful feelings about Lindsey Graham? Well, not all of them. About 56% of them did. That's why he always won about 56% of the GOP votes. But that would be enough to carry the day if she were to get 56% here. Yeah. And I don't think she's going to do that. And unless she starts talking, that negative... force that you talked about on social media, that's only going to grow. It would seem obvious that with all these people in, there's going to have to be a runoff. And that's where it's going to get really painful. She'll probably be in the runoff. Right now, it looks like it's Ralph Norman, Darlene Graham, in a runoff. And I think that if that's the scenario and the campaign techniques don't change, it's going to be all Ralph Norman. They got, I guess, one more vote they have to do as they set up their Democrat primaries for 2028. January, I believe it's the 22nd of 28, will be South Carolina going first in the nation. Apparently, you know, again, whoever wins the South Carolina Democrat primary. I guess most often, I don't want to say it's always turns out to be the person that they put up. Have we gotten it wrong in the last 30 or 40 years as far as the Democrats go that you're aware of? I'm not sure. Yeah, I'd have to look. Yeah, it feels like every time, now they don't always win the presidency, but they always win the primary if they win South Carolina. So that's, I guess, part of the reason. They also.

want to, I guess, honor Jim Clyburn. We're going to talk about Jim Clyburn. He had a horrible podcast over the weekend. We'll talk about that coming up. But the rest of the lineup, I mean, I feel so bad for like Iowa and New Hampshire. Like, you guys were so important. I'm wondering if we're going to continue on the Republican side. They said that we're not going to decide for a little while what the Republicans are going to do. But it's just as far as. I mean, if I'm being a fiscal conservative, the idea of running two different primaries is costly. Sure. And so maybe the Republicans in South Carolina will say we're going to go on January 22nd. I don't know. But also, you know, they're trying to reward Nevada. I think there was two or three others that get to go next. Then there's a final two that get to go. And then those are the only states that they said are allowed on the Democrat side to go before Super Tuesday. So I guess they don't want it to be too obvious who it is. They want Super Tuesday to be a really, really big. It is, isn't it? It already is a big deal. But they wanted to be even bigger because obviously there could be two different candidates or three different candidates that win, say, South Carolina. Michigan, I think is one of them. Then they've got Nevada. I'm trying to remember. Iowa, I think, is in there. But if you have two or three different candidates winning those, all of them would have a great play as they go into Super Tuesday keeps the voters interested. It's interesting to me that we're now trying to create television viewing. We're trying to create a social media viewing with the way we run the primaries as opposed to just trying to find the best candidates. But that's where we're at in social media era. And that's what the Democrats are all about are emotions and feelings. Kelly, checking the Democrat history. In 2004, South Carolina Democrats voted for John Edwards, who was from neighboring North Carolina, and it wound up being John Kerry, who got the nomination. So that's, I think, the one time in recent history, South Carolina Democrats have gotten it wrong. And that would have been pre-haired cut scandal. I think so. And then, I mean, John Edwards, he turned out to be a horrible, just a horrible person. I mean, he was cheating on his wife with the... fake photographer that he had hired to come i mean that scandal was brutal to see um But anyway, I'm glad we didn't elect either one of those Johns, Kerry or Edwards to the presidency. We're much better off. America dodged a bullet that dear. Anyway, but again, I guess congratulations to Crystal Spain and the Democrat Party. This is what you were hoping for. You got the big news Friday afternoon that it looks like now they have decided that South Carolina will be first in the nation. And maybe we'll get to meet some Democrats, Christopher.

Sometime in, you know, maybe late 2027, early 2028, they'll come strolling in here and want to talk to us. We'll see if that's the case. Anyway, we do appreciate you starting your day with South Carolina's morning news. Your news, traffic, weather, and information stations. This is South Carolina's morning news on 103.5 FM, 560 a.m. WVOC and 943 WSC. Now, Kelly Nash. Sitting in Colleen. Columbia, South Carolina, which is a university town, much like Madison, Wisconsin is a university town. But unlike Madison, Wisconsin, we have strong police presence here. We have strong leadership here. Everybody who is in... positions of authority for the most part we have pretty strong leaders not always agree with them but they're pretty strong and that is an important thing and what we saw this weekend if you if you were watching social media was unbelievable in a million years i could have never imagined what i saw happening at a madison wisconsin police press conference and to just kind of catch you up on the story there's a guy named cori ruiz who is dead because Corey Ruiz took a knife and stabbed a police officer and then was shot dead. Imagine if it wasn't a police officer. Imagine if it was a college student. If Corey Ruiz had stabbed a college student and the college student then shot them dead, there would be a trial, there would be an investigation, but ultimately there would be, that would be the end of it. Because everybody recognizes that when somebody stabs you, you have the right to defend yourself. But apparently in Madison, Wisconsin, where they're very soft and liberal, the idea that a police officer did this is too much to bear. The police had been called on him because he was... doing a couple of things. One it appeared he was trying to rob bicycles. Another one appeared he was pulling door handles like he might be trying to steal a car. Somebody called the cops. He ran. They gave chase. He fell off his bike. I don't know if he was pushed or fell off. But he ends up in the middle of an intersection, which is when he stabs one of the cops in the legs. They tried using a taser. Didn't seem to have much of effect on him. Interestingly enough, Ruiz's attorney admits that he stabbed the cop, but says they should have given the taser more time to work. He's stabbing people. We're not going to give it a whole lot of time. We're not going to give it a countdown. Or maybe we don't use fatal force. Maybe, well, we tried that. We tried not killing him. But he was. Hell bent on getting himself killed apparently that day. There's also a lot of talk online this morning, and maybe you'll hear this in your office, about the fact that the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department doesn't have body cameras on. That is because the Madison City Council gave into the Democrat Socialist Party of America who said that the body cameras were a bad idea because it could make black people targets. I don't even understand what that means.

But they didn't want the body cameras. They've also already defunded the police. Madison, Wisconsin has, like right now, two-thirds of the police department has been cut since 2012. So they're operating on a skeletal crew. They're doing the best that they can. I don't know who signs up to be a Madison, Wisconsin police officer. I don't know who'd want to live there at this point. But the weakness of the leadership. In Madison Police Department, this is the police chief, and I'm just going to play a minute of this, he's giving a press conference where he's already in apologetic mode. We've lost your trust. We're so sorry. Black people should never be shot in Madison, Wisconsin, all that kind of rhetoric, when he's interrupted and then just gives over the press conference to a radical. It must be earned continuously, and I think it can be lost in a single afternoon. We don't want to hear anything you've been saying. You're going to say the same thing you all say every time a black body gets shot down in this city. This is a corrupt city. That's right. Have no fear. The anti-Zionists is here. You understand me? You won't be able to talk today because I'm going to keep talking because I was born to talk my talk and walk my walk too. I told these young people back here on our way here that we have the power, not that badge, not that weapon. We've seen. It was a knife in this young man's hand. I'll step aside. That's right. I mean, this guy doesn't even make sense. He's talking about Zionism as if that has something to do with the death of a guy who was trying to rob bicycles. He just starts throwing out words. He has no idea what the definitions even mean. And then he starts talking about how. You know, each one of us has been separated and he looks like he puts his hands up and he's like Venezuela and it's like one finger. And then it's, you know, the Sudan, the Congo. He does load the United States in there. All these people are in the struggle. But when you close the fist, that's when we have the power. So he does want a revolution. And he wants a violent revolution. And while he's standing there, there's a woman comes behind him with a sign that says corrupt cops need to be killed. And the police department is there. It's in their building. There's like 10 cops staring at this as it just plays out. And so what we have is a very... poorly educated population right now. And like even the ones that go to college are poorly educated. They don't know what, they don't even know what colonialism is. They don't even know what imperialism is. They're using it in the wrong definition. It just means anything bad to them. It's like they don't know what fascism means. They don't know what any of it means. And then they just want power. And because the people who have the authority, by the way, represented, they didn't seize power. This police chief didn't seize the power. He won an election.

I'm guessing he'll never win another one. But this is a representation of who we want running with our laws that we vote on. It's the opposite of imperialism what's happening in America. But anyway, maybe we'll go a little bit further on this one because the things he says in the next part of his rant are even more shocking. But that's what's going on in Madison, Wisconsin. We just profiled a very bizarre press conference slash protest in Madison, Wisconsin. Now a protest is broken out in New York City like I've never seen before. We'll talk about that. From the Midlands to the Low Country, this is South Carolina's morning news on 103.5 FM and 560 AM WVOC and 943 WSC. Now here's Kelly Nash. Usually when you see a group of protesters, they're college age or they're, you know, people who have low incomes. Those are the types of people who typically protest. But in New York City yesterday, you had about 500 people in the Upper West Side. Median income, by the way, on the Upper West Side is about $260,000 a year. Wow. To get 500 of these people on the streets, something big had to have happened. And this time, what they're tired of is Zohran Mamdani's policies. In their phrases, emboldening attacks on Jewish people. And you have a suspect who was arrested after stabbing two different people, two separate occasions, first with a knife, then he walked a couple of blocks, stabbed another Jew, this time with a screwdriver yelling Allah Allah Akbar. Zohran Mamdani's trying to go easy on this guy. They are, they finally have had enough. And so that is, I've never seen a protest with all these millionaires out there before. I've never really checked out Vox. I know it's been around for a decade or more, and they lean left. And so yesterday, Jim Clyburn decided to enter the arena over on Vox with a podcaster there. His name is Ested Herndon. I mean, they go 35 minutes with Jim Clyburn. And... Vox's Astead Herndon not giving Mr. Jim Clyburn any softball questions. Ooh. Not catering to him. Doesn't seem very impressed with him. And I'm just going to play a little snippet of that. I do know this. There are a lot of black people who are out here supporting Trump. You cannot tell me that his policies are good for black Americans. Are they? So why are black people supporting them? It might be because the Democratic Party hasn't delivered. Like, it might be because the leers of investment in neoliberal democratic politics has not changed their communities, right? Like, couldn't they be voting not just for Republicans, but against Democrats? Went on foot at all. Isn't that what you said? And there is that as well. Jim Clyburn brings up the fact that apparently I didn't read the stat earlier, but Jim Clyburn says that in the Kamala Harris election, only 58% of black people voted. Eligible black voters only turned out at 58% whether they voted Republican or Democrat. They basically sat on their hands. He's upset with black people. He's blaming black. Jim Clyburn blames black people for Donald Trump. And this young black podcaster who works for Vox is making the point that the black party has kind of failed us. The Democrat Party is failing the black community. And it's hard to argue with that. Of course, Jim Clyburn brings home the pork for his own district at times. But what has the Democrat Party done either for South Carolina or for the nation that people can stand and say, okay, well, that was great? And, you know, the interesting thing is, I guess when Christopher Thompson and I look at an issue, what we're looking at is how much freedom are you giving a community? How much freedom are you giving the people? That, to me, is empowerment. I have the autonomy to behave in a certain manner in order to improve my situation in life. Oftentimes, what we hear from...

podcasters like this young man is you need to get us more what you would you call it pork or whatever right you need to get us more money into our community i i'm i'm of the belief that that actually limits me because with the money comes restrictions as to what i can do and can't do now tax breaks that's something different Tim Scott created the opportunity zones i think that that's been great for minority communities but i also think it's been great for just entrepreneurs in general And so maybe, maybe, I don't know, maybe we're seeing a little bit of a switch here with people like this young podcaster, Ested Herndon, again is his name. I've never heard of him before. But perhaps what we're seeing is he would like to have more freedom to do stuff and is tired of the restrictions and the bureaucracy of the Democrat Party. Because at least with the Republican Party, like when Trump said, What the hell do you got to lose? You might as well vote for me. Remember making that plea and people are like, that's his campaign. Well, it's, you know, after 50 years or more of continually supporting the Democrat Party, what have you got to show for it? Bigger projects, and I mean, project meaning where you live, bigger restrictions on your lives, it's just, it's not a, it hasn't been fruitful. If the black community sat on their hands during this last election, it was two reasons. One, because they had no vested interest in another four years of the Biden-Harris administration, even if it was going to be Harris nominally in charge at this point. Number two, they generally had good feelings about the first Trump administration when it came to two key issues, the economy and border security. Well, it's going to be midterm time pretty soon. And again, the Democrats should win overwhelmingly, but they're trying to let the Republicans who have not done a very good job managing this last two years. They're trying to let us back in. So I don't know. This is almost like... political malpractice by both parties. They're both running horrible campaigns and ideas forward, but maybe we'll get lucky and the Republicans will win. But it's very interesting to see Jim Clyburn getting kind of taken to that. I'll post this video from Vox on a couple of my social media pages, and you can try to check that out. But again, back to just our situation again, WVOC AM is off the air. Until further notice, I haven't seen any more updates on that. And, you know. Jim Clyburn represents a lot of people down in that low country. I wonder how they feel about Jim Clyburn. They got that news on Friday that the Democrat Party is going to, they won in South Carolina. So they get to represent and get that first vote in. There's a lot going on with the Democrats in South Carolina. We're trying to cover it all on South Carolina's morning news. This is South Carolina's morning news with Kelly Nash.

You know, one of the things about being a police officer is you have to be above suspicion. You have to be really one of the moral pillars of the community, at any form of law enforcement. And what we're seeing now, Tom Homan is saying that they're going to have to review. They're hiring after the main shooting from the ICE officer. It appears, and now again, they have not done a full investigation background check on this yet, but it appears that that agent already had a history of domestic violence and mental health issues, according to Holman. So if that is true, he says he should have never passed the screening. He should have never been hired. He's already been fired out of concern for public safety. And if I'm going up to the local television station in... Is it pronounced Bidford? I've never heard of Bidford, Maine. They're naming the guy as David Brulette, although the Department of Homeland Security is not officially named him. They're reporting his name is David Brulet. And according to them and the Washington Post, court records found that Brulet was, quote, not a credible person in November during a child support case where he was trying to reduce payments. i mean if a judge is finding you not a credible person that's a problem but then they goes on to say that the reason for the divorce was domestic violence and if that's the case Again, I'm all for ICE in their mission. I'm all for cleaning up America, but you have to do it with better officers. You can't have somebody like this who's got a history apparently of domestic violence and or mental health issues or whatever. And then he's involved in a shooting. This just gives too big of a window for them to come in and say they're all like that. Yeah, whether the shooting is justified or not, you're going to have that dark cloud. hovering over everything. And again, it just gives the protesters more ammunition to use against ICE and the Trump administration. Yeah. And that's a tragedy because, you know, how many times you hear it? It's like 99% of them are great, but the 1%. And I don't even know if any of the other officers would have known about this guy's history. Something like that might be private. So it's not even like they could, you know, turn on him and say, hey, look, this guy's got a problem. Again, we need to do it. And it might have been part of the rush to ramp it up. Back in 2024, as we started entering 2025, there was a big push to get a ton of new ICE agents. And you remember the online ads that they were running. And they had like quotas they were trying to hit as far as how many they were going to hire, how many people they wanted to deport and stuff. That usually doesn't go well. You know, you want to be methodical when you're hiring people. You also want to be methodical about who you're deporting. You don't want to give them the opportunity to point at any mistakes. And so what you're talking about is so important to the future of the country that if you do it in a hurried way, and again, I'm with a lot of Americans who are like, it's not going fast enough. I understand because they poured in.

But you can't just kick them all out at the same time. You've got to take your time and do it right. And so that we're above reproach. I say we, meaning the country, we don't want to be having people caught up in this that don't need to be involved in it. And I'm just sorry to see the Tom. Well, Tom Homan, I think is doing the right thing here. I support him for taking that bold step. But again, future hires at any level need to be very carefully done. That's my take. What's your take? The close fundraising totals. In other words, the Democrat had a aggressive primary challenger, and so she had to spend a lot more money than Ellen Weaver has. But their fundraising has been about the same. I'll point out that when Jamie Harrison was running to replace Lindsey Graham, he outspent Lindsey Graham by about $15 million. Now, they both spent a... a boatload of money. It was about $115 million for Lindsay and about $130 for Jamie Harrison. And Jamie Harrison did not move the needle, one iota. Despite spending all that money. Yeah, it was the exact same Democrat totals from like six years earlier. They just, it, because the policies only... They only impactful to certain people. So when I go to this lady write, what is her first name? I forget now. Sylvia. Sylvia Wright's website. I don't need any, you don't need to spend any money to let me know I would never vote for this woman. The very number one thing that she puts on her right for SC education is that we need, in order to set our children up for success, we must meet each student where they are and ensure their basic needs. Okay, I'm with you on that one. Number one priority, social, emotional learning. Nope, you already lost me. I'm already out. I'm already out. When you start talking about social, emotional learning, I am not interested in that. I believe that what's happened in America and Western culture in general is that we're falling further and further behind Asian countries and other places because we do focus on your feelings. Stop focusing on your feelings because it just enhances your problems. Focus on the actual basics, the three R's. Christopher, we all remember the three hours. Sure. Reading, writing, arithmetic. If you had a problem with it, did your teacher come over and rub your back and go, Christopher, are you struggling with two plus two? Maybe it's racist that we have two plus two. It shouldn't be that way. What would you like it to be? Two plus two equals cat. If that's your truth, we're going to support that. Now you can feel good about yourself. Didn't work that way back then. And it shouldn't work that way now. It actually doesn't work that way now. That's why we have the problems that we have. Social, emotional learning. If that's your number one priority, I'm already out. If Ellen Weaver wants to run and just say, go look at Wright's website, that's all you got to do for Ellen Weaver to win the vote. I'm not going to focus on social emotional learning. But that's the way I think most normal people. Not just Republicans, normal people understand that education is not about enhancing the emotions of the student. But we'll see. Perhaps, perhaps we'll be in for a big upset this year. Ellen Weaver says she's not going to back off her fundraising, although she does, according to Matt Moore.

who I think is, he's the former head of the South Carolina GOP. He's the current, I guess, campaign manager for Ellen Weaver. He's quoted in the story of saying she has seven times more cash on hand than Ms. Wright. So she's in a good position. She's the incumbent, too. You expect her to be in good position. And she's a Republican in South Carolina. Yep. Republican policies tend to win around here because we like normalcy around here. We're not looking for the chaos that the Democrats are trying to introduce. So. Anyway, best of luck to Ellen Weaver, and I appreciate your feedbacks on these stories. This is South Carolina's morning news on 103.5 FM, 560 a.m. WVOC and 943 WSC. Now, Kelly Nash. When I moved to South Carolina in 2003, I had never heard of the town, Pageland, South Carolina. It's a little town and a little county. Apparently, they make good football players. Corey Miller, former Giants linebacker and GameCock great, Robbie Caldwell, current offensive line coach over at Clemson, Justice Cunningham, selected in the 2013 NFL draft, all these people and more from Pageland. So they're on the map. But they were also on the map because earlier this month, their two flock cameras were cut to the ground. And the flock camera controversy continues. We were talking last week about how Irmo had just increased their budget to get more flock cameras into the community. And then I see today in Bluffton, a half dozen flock cameras located on a busy two-mile stretch of the Buckwater Parkway have been damaged, according to the Bluffton Police Department. So South Carolinians, not Cottonin, to the flock cameras, apparently. And in this story that I'm reading in the posting courier, in Greer, two police officers were fired last month after an audit showed that they had used the cameras to track certain residents, specifically someone in a relationship with one of the officers. We mentioned that last week. That's one of the problems with... There's not enough oversight, apparently, of who's using these flock cameras and for what reason. Now, we've talked about the fact that they can be great in aiding law enforcement, but, you know, if you've got a rogue officer out there who decides to track his ex-wife, for example, or track someone he's dating, or I've even seen that some people are using it, some pedophiles are using it, pedophile police officers to track kids. Goodness gracious. But... I don't, you know, there are a lot of things that can be used for bad, but are overall beneficial to the community. I think more oversight, and you could probably get away with these flock cameras. The Hilton Head flock cameras were used to locate suspects involved in a Fourth of July shooting at the beach that had injured eight people. So there's a good thing. Sure. You know.

And it depends on who's doing, it's like anything else. Government is about who's running the government. And it can be used for good. It can be used for bad. And so whoever's doing the oversight, if they're in on it. It's a bad thing. And if they're law-abiding, God-fearing people, if you're a God-fearing person, then you're probably, well, you are going to do the right thing because you're not answering to yourself or to another human being. You're answering to God. But if you're somebody who's just in it to promote yourself or promote the business or promote whatever it is that you're... I don't know, you're ideologically lined up with. Whatever that is, it can be very dangerous. We're giving more and more power to law enforcement, which again... Law enforcement is supposed to be here to help us, but we have just, you know, we just got a couple of examples here where it wasn't used to help us, and we continue to see more and more of that. We were talking about the guy from ICE earlier who has apparently got a case of mental health struggles and or domestic violence charges who ended up in the shooting in Maine. So. hiring law enforcement is so important. But these flock cameras, I don't think this is going to go away. I think that this scandal, or is it, it's not a scandal. It's a controversy, right? Right. Should we have more flock cameras? Ermo said yes, although there's a bunch of people protesting in Irmo. We see them now down in Bluffton, literally damaging them. We saw them in Pageland cutting them in half. Wouldn't the flat camera know who cut it in half? You would think so. I guess maybe if you're wearing a mask or something, somehow they walked up on it, there's no license plates. But yeah, this idea that they're tracking their ex-girlfriends or whatever. This is scary stuff. But if you're law abiding and you're on either side of the issue, either the police side or if you're a citizen, you should be okay. So do you want more flat cameras, South Carolina, or would you like less? I know we have a couple of bills, by the way. We have four bills at the State House. House bill 4675, 3155, 4013, along with the Senate bill, 447. And they're supposed to impose limits on the use of the automated license plate reading cameras, though none have moved out of the committee as of yet. So perhaps you want to encourage your... your house member or your state senator to do more to limit the flock cameras, something to be aware of. Or perhaps you're thinking like, you know, Christopher said, law-abiding citizens should have nothing to fear unless you happen to be dating one of these police officers. You know, we like to think of ourselves here in South Carolina is above fear of the Democrat Socialists of America. But Saturday, 80 people gathered in Charleston to march for the Democrat Socialists. They have a petition that has now received, what did they say, about 500 signatures now? 1,600, I'm sorry, 1,600 signatures have signed their petition and they're making their case and their petition. They point out a couple of different protests that have taken place in 2024, a pro-Palestine demonstration resulted in two protesters being arrested and criminally charged. They say that these, the law enforcement. is infringing upon their first amendments. Also pointing out a peaceful gathering in Marion Square to protest the mass ICE arrests, ended with the arrests of seven protesters, and they're saying that this is an infringement upon their First Amendment rights. Again, I'm shocked that there's 1,600 people who would sign this. But, I mean, there's like 900,000 people who live in the metro for Columbia. So I guess it shouldn't be surprising that there's, you know, two or three thousand loons. However, let's just give them a quick history lesson. This is just a very quick history lesson. You got the First Amendment in 1791. In 1792, the government realized they had made a mistake in giving too much of a good thing to you because that's when you had people launching these violent protests. There was something called the Shays Rebellion and the Whiskey Rebellion. And because of that, on May 2nd, 1792, it was called the Calling Forth Act was then put into place, which gave the president the power to put in a militia to break you up. You're not, that's when you started needing permits. So it's one of these things that since in 1792, the United States has recognized, you just can't have mobs wandering the streets saying whatever the hell they want. It's insane that we're now relitigating something that was settled two, three hundred years ago at this point. And this is in Charleston. I guess this is this all blew up when the Francis Marion statue came down and. There was a lot of controversy there and there were protests. And I think that's where this all originated. But the Democrat socialists, first of all, they're exercising their First Amendment rights by protesting. Correct. By even signing something, they're exercising their First Amendment rights. Correct. But yeah, there are rules in place. You can protest, but you, you know, you can't infringe upon the public's right to move freely, for example. You can't just block.

an intersection to protest. I mean, there have to be certain rules in place. That's one of the things that they love to do, is that you'll see protesters who really have no traction with their argument. They will then shut down a highway. And then people are unable to get to work or whatever. And of course, violence is going to ensue at that point because people are beyond frustrated. I can't get to work because you've got these morons lying in the streets. Get them off the streets. Yeah, they do more harm than good for their own cause. But... Or they go and they start throwing paint on people and things of that nature and then call that free speech. Just taking the name Democrat Socialist lets you know this person is a loon. And so I don't take anybody serious who's a DSA member or a Black Lives Matter members. All of these people are fringe loons. And so the fact that you got 80 of them to protest, I guess. hooray, Charleston, that it was only 80. Good for you. I mean, again, there's almost 900,000 people living in that area, and only 80 showed up. That shows you how little support they have. Let's keep it going, Charleston. Let's keep sanity raining in South Carolina. This is South Carolina's morning news. From the Midlands to the Lowcountry, this is South Carolina's morning news on 103.5 FM and 560 AM WVOC and 943 WSC. Now, here's... Kelly Nash. Last week, the Census Bureau put out a press release that foreign-born U.S. residents is now at 50.2 million people. This is 14.8% of the population, which ties the record high of 1890. Now, the big difference between 1890 and 2024 is the fact that in 1890, when you came to the United States, there was nothing here to welcome you. You know what I'm saying? And plenty of land. There was a lot of land. There was some opportunity. No safety nets. There was no government assistance on anything. And so the people who came here really were looking for freedom and an opportunity. It had been rising since like 1850 when we were somewhere at around 9%. So the peak was 1890. We were down to 4% in the 1970s. And now, ever since these social programs have been expanded and expanded, that's the reason for why so many foreigners want to come here, not because they want to work and contribute, but because they want to get a free ride in the United States. And that's costing all of us who are American-born tremendously with our tax dollars. And who are working hard. And I'm not saying all of these illegals, some of them aren't working. But the problem is there are too many who are just, you know, sucking off the lifeline that is there for the rest of us, that we've worked so hard for all our lives. The other big difference was in 1890, they wanted to assimilate into the American culture. These people are trying to change the culture. That's why you see all these Palestinian flags flying and all that other stuff. America is at a tipping point when it comes, if you've got 50.2 million people that we know of. that were not born in america how many of them are swearing allegiance to the united states how many of them are here to just be you know

Insurrectionists, crazy people. People want to take over our culture and our government. That's the problem. So I'm wondering if that story will get more attention. It came out last week, not a whole lot of people talking about it that I've heard over the weekend. But I wanted to drop that in for you so you can, that's something you can chew on at the water cooler this morning. You know, every president tries to be funny at these things. Yeah. How did you think Trump did? Pretty poorly. He started okay. But, I mean, even he at some point. You know, went off the teleprompter and said, who's writing this? Yes, he did say that. That was hysterical, actually. It was pretty bad. I mean, you know, I love when Trump throws his critics curveballs. It would have been great if he had gone up there and been a little more self-deprecating. a little more okay you know you know the media and i have had our issues but you know i've got some issues of my own in my administration and maybe poked a little more fun at himself or those like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who he did call out once or twice but oh that was a great line on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talking about how the steak or whatever had yeah robert Robert F. Kennedy Jr. he ran over the cow himself I mean, he had some good stuff in there, but yeah, it just, it became too mean-spirited. It was kind of what you expected. It was mean-spirited. It was also, you know, it was compounded by the fact that they're not going to laugh no matter what you say for the most part. So it feels kind of flat. Yeah. I'm wondering, you know. in his mind why he would even do it i i love the president i love that he's a fighter i love uh pretty much everything about him but i don't like that he says he wants to be a unifier and you're going into an audience you know doesn't want to be unified and then you're throwing stuff at them yeah um I just thought that was an ill-conceived plan for Friday night. And I'll say this. I wasn't a big fan when they started hiring all the comics that would go up on stage and try and skewer the president for three hours, no matter if it was a Republican or Democrat. The whole thing's gotten too mean-spirited over the years. It was no longer funny. It was no longer humorous. It was no longer all that entertaining to see, you know, these celebrities.

sitting in the audience, you know, rubbing elbows with politicians. It's a waste of time. And we, what year was it that Barack Obama insulted Trump? Oh, yeah. And that was said to launch the Trump campaign. Yeah, I'm trying to remember what year that was, like 2014 or something like that, is when he, you know, he's making fun of, and Donald, he's going to make the big decisions like he did about firing Lil John. And Trump sat there and took it. and then launched his presidency as he came in and he, you know, Trump's never going to win the president. And he won the president. So I'm wondering now, should we look for a candidacy in a couple of years from Caitlin Susan Collins? Are we going to get Caitlin Susan Collins? Because she took the worst of it. It felt, for those of you who didn't see it, he was comparing her to, what was that the person? Dylan Mulrooney. Mulvaney maybe? Whatever the name is, the trans person who became the face for Bud Light. Right. then lost, as Trump pointed out, $30 billion in market cap for Bud Light. And I guess you could see somewhat of a resemblance there. Wasn't particularly funny, I thought. But perhaps you guys have other opinions on that. Maybe you loved it. That he just... There is a group of people in America that love the fact that Trump will stand right up to his critics and just call him out right to their face. He's not going to back down. He doesn't flinch on that. And maybe that you're one of those people, be interested in hearing your, did it help his cause on Friday night? Absolutely not. Christopher and I seem to be in agreement on that one. I don't think it helped our causes to try to unify the country or anything. But again, I'm not trying to unify the country by weakness. I'm not trying to say, oh, your truth is our truth or whatever either. I'm just saying if you're trying to unify, don't go into a hostile environment and then ramp up the situation with more hostility. I wouldn't even go on to it. To be honest with it, I thought the right decision was the four years where he said, I'm not going. Why would I go to this thing? It's stupid. I'm not going. I think he should continue that policy. And perhaps he will. And perhaps we'll get the, you know, maybe somebody again will credit him for having the White House ballroom. For future events, because that will be a much safer and more convenient location for all of D.C. to celebrate their whatever events they want to celebrate. So the candidates were lining up to file to run. I think it was Fridays when we got a bunch of them in Columbia filing to run. And the one that got the most, I don't know, controversial response would be Darlene Graham. Nordone? Are we using Nordone? We don't know. She didn't answer any questions. She gave a statement and basically said, I'm asking for grace as we go through this time of mourning for my brother, which again, understandable. But she is inheriting about a million dollars in order to run with, thanks to a Lindsey Graham pack. They've raised $960,000, I think it was, since she announced she was running. That's going to help her out tremendously. At the same time, she's not answering questions. Russell Fry has apparently already raised a half million dollars since he declared. But the difference between Russell Fry and maybe some of the others is the fact that Russell Fry is basically, when he says I'm America First, he doesn't even have a policy position. It appears regarding foreign policy. It's just let's focus on America. Maybe some people like that. going to hopefully get Mark Sanford on today, I'm hoping. He files today. Yeah, so I'm hoping that today is the day we get Mark Sanford. I was talking to some of his people over the weekend, so tomorrow we can have some of the Mark Sanford interview. When we look at the most recent poll, Christopher Thompson, you were pointing out some of the, I don't know, wonkiness of it. Well, for starters, that poll was taken before Sanford officially entered the race. It was speculated, but we didn't know for sure if he was in. He got in, but after the poll was taken. And there's still a huge number of undecides in that poll. And the... And maybe you, Kelly, you've pointed this out over and over again, the fact that we're not even sure what to call Darlene Graham. Maybe that has led to some name recognition issues, but there are a awful lot of people out there who still don't even know who she is. And she's not helping by not doing any media and telling people not only who she is, but what she stands for. And the 6 o'clock hour when we discussed this, I was speculating that she or whoever's in charge of the campaign is kind of. putting in the Joe Biden policy. Let's just keep them in the basement, run off the name alone, see how it goes. I don't know if they're trying to help or hurt her, but apparently John Thune has come out with his support for Darling Graham. Does that help or hurt? I don't know that that helps, right? He's not the most popular person with Republicans right now, with everything that's not happened in Washington, including the Save America Act.

Morning. You know, I love you guys dearly, and I listen every day. But you sure are beating up, Darlene, it seems to me. If you have seen her resume, she's very qualified for the job. And I think we just need to give her a chance and do exactly what she said. Give her some grace right now. I think she'll come forward before time to actually get out and vote for her. I'll have a blessed day. Well, thank you very much. And obviously, you're a Darlene Graham supporter. And I don't think we're being... tough on Darling Graham. If you were to just take the name Graham off the name, Darlene, and just say this was a candidate who decided to run for office. I mentioned in the 6 o'clock hour, perhaps what she told Sean Hannity is true, that she wants to not run off her brother's name, that she wants to make a name for herself, that she has different opinions maybe on certain issues, and that's fantastic, good for you. But... If now is not the time because you're in a season of mourning, which would be completely understandable, to lose your brother and your father, and she said slash mother figure, all in the same week just days ago. Maybe now is not the time to run. If you want to make your name for yourself in politics, maybe sit this one out and then come back. But if you're, if you are serious about trying to be the next senator from South Carolina, you're aspiring to a very powerful position. There's only 100 people on earth that get this position. There's only. two in each state that get this position. In order to have that kind of power, you need to be fully vetted. I just don't want to read your resume. There's a zillion people who have great resumes who turn out to be failures when they get an opportunity at the next level. This would be a huge step up, no matter what kind of public service you've had, to become a senator to actually mold craft policy for the United States to then present to the president. This is a massive position, and you need to be... accessible. The timetable is drastically. It's unfair to every one of these candidates. Certainly it's unfair to someone who's in mourning for her brother while she's ramping up a campaign. But nonetheless, the timetable is what it is. We are going to vote. You know, coming up, well, as you mentioned, early voting starts next week. We are voting very soon. We've got to know more about you. What your thoughts are, what your goals for South Carolina are, what your policies are, what you believe. And we can't make a decision and we certainly can't support you until we know what your policies are. Yeah, this is not a position. I think the talkback feature, she said something about give her a chance.

I'm not in a position to give you a chance at this job because once you're in, you're in for six years. It's like saying it's almost as bad as giving you a chance of being a Supreme Court justice. Katanya Jackson Brown has ruined that for all future candidates. We can't give you a chance. But Christopher Thompson, we've got the early voting starting and I believe we're going to go to a runoff. I don't think that anybody's going to get more than 50% in this. Do you? Is it possible? I don't think so. at that point. And so we can give her a little bit of grace, as she said. I can't remember exactly the lineup for the funerals. I think we have one Tuesday in, that's the one in D.C., right? It's tomorrow. And then Wednesday, I think it's going to be here at the state capital. And then finally, late Wednesday, if I remember correctly, it's going to be in Pickens County. That's a private for the family only type of event. And so, okay, we'll give you all that. And then. When does she hit the campaign trail and say, this is who I am? You wanted to make a difference between you and your brother? What are those differences? We want to know who you are. Where do you stand on issues? And how do you expect to lead having, at this point, no experience in government? Again, that's always been a great question for Donald Trump. How did you expect to lead? You have no experience as the president. You have no experience at the Senate. You have no experience as the governor. How can you expect to be the president of the United States? He answered those questions enough that people felt comfortable, enough people did, to put him in as the president. We'll see if she can answer those questions. Well, there are a lot of questions to answer in a very short period of time, even if she gets into a runoff. I mean, that runoff is in less than a month. Yes. This is such a compressed schedule that you've got to be, I mean, we saw all the candidates were campaigning all weekend, and she's not telling us a whole lot while they're giving their life story out on the campaign trail. It's time to start talking if you're Darling Graham. You mentioned that they were campaigning this weekend, and I saw a couple of them like Russell Fry, Mark Sanford. They were kind of popping up in my timeline. I think I saw Ralph Norman at an event. I didn't see anything from her. Did she do anything this weekend? I don't know that she did. I'm not sure. And we're two guys who are pretty attuned to what's going on. So if we didn't know... The overwhelming majority of South Carolinians, even if she did do something, are unaware of it. It didn't pop up in my news feed or anything like that. So again, this might not be her time. That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying she's not qualified to be the senator. I'm not saying that she couldn't be a great senator. What I'm saying is if you're not able to get yourself in a position to hold press conferences and things of that nature. This might not be your time. You might have to just come back and maybe run for a house seat or you could wait six years and run for the Senate. But this, I don't have a good feeling about it. There's just the way it's going. I'm not passing judgment on her. I'm just saying in the current environment, it doesn't feel right to me. But I do appreciate the talk back. I'm reading a story in the Daily Signal, which celebrates South Carolina, because South Carolina has the most common sense people. According to this, I'm reading Ryan Byrne, who works at Ballotpedia. says citizenship verification has never lost on the ballot. It was on 15 different state ballots between 2018 and 2025. It passed in everyone. The lowest was Kentucky at 62%, the highest, South Carolina. Over 80% of South Carolinians voted that you must have citizenship verification. Interestingly, there... A bunch of states, including just to our north, North Carolina, will have it on the ballot this November. So it's not the Save America Act. It's a voter, excuse me, a citizenship verification act in the middle of what we think is rigged elections because illegals are voting. So this was to prevent them from voting. So I'm wondering if they will pass anyway. And it's actually going to be on the ballot this November in California. The hopes are so high that perhaps California, which so far the federal government has already identified almost 200,000 people in California who are registered to vote that are non-citizens, that if it can pass in California, despite all of that. that this would send America back towards normalcy and only allow the citizens of the country to vote. It's hard to believe that you're reporting that as a news story. This just in, citizens believe that citizens should be the only ones who decide elections. And we're going to allow, again, in California. non-citizens are going to be voting on this ballot. So if they can overcome the non-citizens vote, where they're, so you have an opportunity as a non-citizen of California to vote, to save your right to vote, to influence U.S. politics. Or, again, The Californians, if Gavin Newsom's listening on the I Heart Radio app, good morning, Gavin. But I'd also point out that he would want to make the distinction that in California, what we're saying is they can vote in local elections, not federal elections. Sure. Sure. But that's not a slippery slope. Let's let them vote in everything but the big ones. Okay. All right. And they will go to the ballot and they will choose their sheriff and their dog catcher and.

the head of transportation, but they'll stop at that. They won't go to the next page on the ballot. I'll be honest. One of my favorite things about South Carolina's morning news is when we get the Christopher Thompson sarcasm. Sorry, but. It's fantastic. Don't be sorry. I love it. And again, Kelly, it's just, it's common sense. And it's hard to believe that common sense is not winning in all of these states, but it's not. Yeah. Yeah, and we have some other weird stuff going on. Massachusetts voters are going to consider a top two primary system to replace the party primary system. This is what we call the jungle primary. Like they have in California. Like they have in California. So there's going to be all kinds of things coming down this November. But if we could just get that passed. Despite the best efforts to stop the Save America Act, it might not help for the 2018 election. Because again, it's the ballot, it's the same day that you're voting on your candidates. Are you voting this? We may end up losing the primaries overwhelmingly. But at the same time, if you can get these states to pass that, especially California. Who else we got? Maryland, Vermont. There's some liberal states that are going to put it on the ballot. If we can win those. you might have a hope to save actual U.S. democracy moving forward. A hope, not a guarantee. And some of the Democrats are actually arguing, well, if it's not going to matter to this election, why should we care? That's exactly it. We're not just worried about the integrity of this election. All future elections hinge on issues like this. Absolutely. Absolutely. You have to lock down the elections and make sure you know who's voting. Again, it's hard to believe that we have to report that, but we do have to report that. And we have to encourage Americans to make sure that your elections are secure. Again, for those of you who love democracy, you don't have a democracy if you have fake voters in the elections. That's just... The reality. If the dead keep voting, you don't have democracy. Ambassador Mike Walt said yesterday that the Trump administration was stopping their attacks on Iran to give diplomacy a little room to talk. I am so against this. I can't even tell you. I'm just taking the Trump administration at their word that we have all that we need because I know there's been some rumors floated that we're kind of running low on ammo and things of that nature. According to the Pentagon, we've got more than enough stuff. We're ready to go at any. time, but we're just going to give diplomacy another shot. There's nobody to talk to, Christopher. That's my opinion. There's nobody we can talk to in Iran. It is disturbing to see these rumors start flying around Washington that we are out of munitions because, you know, Russia and China are paying close attention to what is happening with the United States in this conflict and would love to take advantage if we were low.

So in a sense, it makes you wonder, do those rumors, are they based in fact? Or is that just somebody trying to start trouble? The mission, the original mission of preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon has been achieved. The second mission that was kind of launched when they started messing around with the Strait of Hormuz is not our problem. per se it does raise gas prices for everybody i imagine it would get a lot less of a problem if there was no u.s military in the region um and just let the gulf nations deal with it if the gulf nations want to handle it and take there's a bunch of countries that are on the street if you want to defend the strait and keep it open so that your oil prices can be competitive moving forward fantastic if you don't That's fantastic too. You want Iran to run the Gulf? Let them run the Gulf. That's the straight. That's up to you guys. We've already done what we wanted to do. If we're not going to finish the job, then let's just get out of there. Israel says we haven't done what we did. Benjamin Netanyahu was on the talk shows this weekend saying that Iran is still a nuclear nation until we decide otherwise. Well, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, you can continue your attacks then. You needed us for the bunker busters. Yeah. We gave you that. We did that. We've followed it up with that. We've gotten rid of the ballistic missile program for the most part. We've knocked them back a decade or more. You can handle it from here. So do you think this is the beginning of a pullback, the fact that we haven't bombed in three days? I'm afraid it's not. I'm afraid what we're doing is allowing the Iranians to gain strength. They're going to fool around at the negotiation table. And then we're going to see more of the Houthis attacking. We're going to see more of Hamas attacks. We're going to see all that. And that is Iran. When we say the Houthis did this or Hamas did that or Hezbollah did that, you should just change the word to Iran did that. and they're going to escalate because they want to exert dominance. And again, their ultimate goal is world domination. So they're a long way from world domination. We're just fooling around with them. We're like a cat playing with a mouse over here. And I don't know why. I don't know why we don't go in and just when we say bomb the crap out of them, yes, civilians have to die. If we're going to do that, unfortunately, nobody likes that. But if you're going to take out the IRGC, civilians will die. You can't be that precise to just go after a couple of people here and a couple of people there. You have to do mass damage. War is about breaking things and killing people.

That's what war is. And Americans don't have an appetite for it. Few countries do. But you're not selling us on this right now. Again, what did I see, a poll today? 19% of Americans are hopeful for a positive outcome in Iran now. 19%. Nobody believes that this is going well. So. The pause is actually making it worse, not better, in my opinion, although I guess we'll probably get a little break in oil prices, a small one.
