Welcome to the Vince Coakley Radio program. Glad you're here. A lot to talk about this morning. We will go into this interesting story about incentives to go ahead with this I-77 project. You know, it's not just getting the project done. It's not just... bypassing the penalties that we will be assessed if it doesn't go through. Now some sweeteners have been added. What in the world are these folks up to now? We will talk about it during the course of the broadcast today. Got the latest on the war. Now we've got Saudi Arabia involved. Saudi Arabia. So we've now expanded this. We've also got an interesting new threat from the president. The president using some pretty strong language this time to describe what is ahead. You will hear what he had to say to Fox News this morning. One of the things that is quite interesting is to watch the new senator from South Carolina as her brother is laid to rest today. It's very intriguing to hear about a stand that Darlene Graham is taking in the Senate. She is making her mark. We'll tell you what she's had to say. And the lion in the sand that she has drawn, which I'm sure is raising a few eyebrows, you do not want to miss wellness Wednesday. We've got two very important items for you. One related to your physical health. The other related to the health of your marriage. Both of these things are just wonderful. And the one on marriage, I'm especially... especially interested in sharing with you. It is so, so important. I'll just give you a clue. If you happen to be in an unhappy marriage right now, there is some positive news to pass along. We'll tell you what that is coming up a little bit later on. A couple of items we didn't get to yesterday, including... the ongoing situation in Europe with, let's just be honest, the fact that that continent is in the midst of a transformation and not one, I don't think they will realize what will be the final result. All of that coming up during the course of the broadcast today, I want to begin with some hearings going on in the nation's capital.

I told you what I think about hearings. 99.999% of the time I think they're a waste of time. And to be honest with you, I think what's going on now with Anthony Fauci is another waste of time. It's provided some interesting theatrics. But I also think there's a lesson that needs to be taken from this. I think I was thinking this several days ago. and I didn't communicate it on this program, I had an interesting suspicion that Anthony Fauci would plead the fifth. And that's exactly what he has done. But before I get there and to the fireworks that happened, I want to just talk about an important takeaway. You've heard the phrase before. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We've seen this at work. And I'm condensing a whole lot of things here. But I think there's enough information that is out now about Anthony Fauci's activities that I firmly believe this man is a criminal. I believe he is engaged in criminal behavior. The unfortunate thing is this can never be addressed in the justice system because he was pardoned by Joe Biden. This is another example of what happens with big government. These folks always look out for each other. They don't give a rat's ass about you. What they care about is their power and protecting their buddies. Who cares how many people died? Who cares? How many of your children had their educations disrupted? Nobody cares. What matters? And I've been listening to some of the testimony this morning. On the Republican side, you have people who are bringing up facts who are discussing now very unquestionable. information that Anthony Fauci was involved in frankly bringing this whole COVID thing to life in the first place. He helped to fund the research and then lied about it. And then this whole garbage floating out there. about protecting the science, science, science, science. This is what's called scientism. If you're not familiar with scientism is, let me tell you very briefly what it is. It's making a religion out of science. It's religion. And so you have your high priests and priestesses, and their declarations are on the same level. as the Pope's declaration out of the Vatican. They are sacrosanct. You dare not even question, which is why it was necessary to muzzle people during the COVID era. So people could not even discuss these matters without having their material blocked on social media without being referred to as conspiracy theorists.

It was a full court press. And what the Democrats doing now? They're concerned about science. You know, kiss my rear end. Every single one of these people. And I've listened to them. These sanctimonious little bastards sitting behind the microphone, they're more concerned about the reputation of Anthony Fauci. Then they are the damage that this entire matter has done to our country. The dead people, the disruption of businesses, the disruption of education. This is a monumental cluster. And at the end of the day, my concern is nobody's going to be held responsible. Now, rather than just focusing on the past and something we can't do anything about, this, again, is another lesson in the reason why we need a hatchet to chop down big government. We should never have another Dr. Anthony Fauci. How many times, if you listen to this program, whether we're talking about the superintendent of Charlotte Mecklenburg schools? Whether we're talking about Anthony Fauci, whether we're talking about our sheriff in McLeanburg County, Gary McFadden. Folks, these people are all out of the same cloth. They are. And the unfortunate thing is, first, in some cases, we are involved in putting these people in office. And we for sure have facilitated the systems and the structure that has allowed them to do what they have done without question. The solution is to take the power away. And this sort of power should never be wielded by anybody in Washington ever again.

And this is quite a show that we are going into today because we're going to delve into a little bit of what has happened this morning in the nation's capital, hearing taking place. And it's still going on. In fact... I didn't give Bernie a heads up on this. But are we able to listen in a little bit here? Josh Hawley is speaking. Let's hear what Josh Hawley has to say in his conversation with Anthony Fauci, who is invoking the fifth. Trying to find the right balance between protect life and protect the economics and for all of it. And I'm not sure if we got it all right or wrong. But without a doubt, I can. continue to question myself. But one that I, it's not about much more your regrets, but I have one. And, and that is early on that there was the theory that the virus could have emerged from the lab. And early on that became like a right wing. kinds of theory. And I thought it seemed to make sense. Now, there was a really advanced lab that was close by. And then you have this unknown virus out. So, but that became a very partisan thing. And now, it seems now it's more and more emerging theory that that would have come from the lab. Now, you know, I hope. I think that the next time our nations facing something like this, we are not become, you know, as I might have been, blinded by the partisan idea that maybe the truth might come from a side that's different than you are. But I think we should really be willing to pursue truth, no matter where that may have emerged, you know, after all of that. So, and I now cede the remain back to the chair. Thank you.

This is a guy talking about unhinged. Rand Paul unhinged. You know who was unhinged? You were, Dr. Anthony Fauci. You were unhinged. Playing role in unleashing this virus on the world. And yes, sir, you have blood on your hands. And by the way, who were you obsessed with? Well, all the indications are, and we're going to talk a little bit more about this diary. This is a man who is obsessed with Anthony Fauci. This guy was obsessed with himself. His publicity, his image, his media appearances, all of it. And he has the nerve to talk about anybody else. Unfortunately, as I said, there's nothing we can do to bring him to justice. But again, I hope this is a reminder and a lesson, and I don't care who it is, about power. How power is vested in people, no matter what their position. It requires watchfulness. And it requires limitations. I would like to see, honestly, I would like to see some sort of mechanism. I don't know. Has there ever been a discussion about pardon reform? I think there needs to be. Because I think the entire pardon system has been bastardized. And you know what's happened? The pardon system has been bastardized by bastards like Anthony Fauci. This man did not deserve a pardon. And what you do is you use a senile old fool to cover up what I think has been one of the biggest crimes committed against this country. It's profoundly unacceptable. May we learn the most important lessons, not get caught up in the personalities. But this is another clarion call. Bring out the hatchet and bring down big government. That's what I want to see. I don't want to see how skillfully anybody can manage big government. Vultures like Anthony Fauci have been allowed to fester in our government for way too long. And the sad thing is there are probably plenty of other Anthony Fauci's just waiting for their time to sail off into the sunset on our tax dollars while your children and grandchildren pay for their nefarious activities. That's what I want to see for the future. cutting off these people out of Washington. Doge didn't go far enough. Response to yesterday's program. I mentioned you know last night listening to the new evidence that's come up about Nolan, how easy you are to dismiss another black person. I'm not even going to read any more of this text data. First off, what you communicate, it's just disrespectful. Nobody is dismissing someone because they're black. Referring to a demon inside me, you are part of what's wrong. And the mindset that you have is part of what's wrong in the black community. I don't mind looking at evidence. And I hope authorities are looking at evidence. And they find that something criminal happens here and they prosecute someone wonderful. But you've started off on the wrong foot on this text, Dana. which is why I'm moving along to the next one. Seth, Vince Starling Graham shouldn't even be allowed to run for Senator versus South Carolina GOP rules. Check out her voting record and the full rules pertaining to that. I think that has been dismissed thus far. Good morning, Vince. I'm gearing up for another great show. I know I will not be disappointed. Referring to Anthony Fauci as America's very own Joseph Mangala. Oh boy. I mean, it's really not too much of an exaggeration here at all. Fox writing in very simple. There may be one to two percent of people in government that want transparency. The rest will suppress it with Fifth Amendment rights and things of that nature until you change wanting the transparency to go to the American people. Nothing else will change. Yep. Just one small correction. You mentioned no one cares about consequences, their decisions. Of course, that's not correct. There are. And we're plenty of people that care. However, the folks in government making these decisions and the money and the power trip off those decisions do not. I get it, John. You're certainly one of the people who cares here. Anthony Fauci. And blowing in this morning, breaking news out of the nation's capital before we get to more of the hearing. We have breaking news about the nomination of Todd Blanche. As you know, his nomination has run into trouble. His nomination to filled position of attorney general. He's acting attorney general right now. During the time that you've been in a break, I have been listening to Senator John Cornyn, who has basically said. He is called off a meeting with Todd Blanche. Here's what's going on. The main issue deals with this Department of Justice settlement with President Donald Trump. Specifically, they're demanding written changes regarding a $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund and tax liability immunities. Now, Todd Blanche agreed in May to prohibit the Department of Justice from prosecuting Trump and his family for potential tax crimes. The agreement established a $1.8 billion compensation reserve tied to Trump's lawsuit against the IRS over past tax record leaks. John Cornyn insists Todd Blanche must rework the agreement to restrict the Trump family's immunity and eliminate the billion dollar reserve in writing before earning his confirmation vote.

The Todd Blanche has stated verbally, the fund is dead. John Cornyn points out that the terms remain legally on paper and lacks a formal binding written withdrawal from the plaintiffs. Let me also give you some background, which I think you know. Donald Trump also screwed John Cornyn by supporting one of his opponents in the race for Senate, which is why John Cornyn is now a lame duck. So he has really no incentive to do anything for Donald Trump. Now, there's kind of an artificial, I don't know what's an artificial, but a 4 p.m. deadline today. The idea was to try to get this thing out of committee so they could actually have a vote. But during this conversation, here's the other interesting thing. John Cornyn communicated that Thom Tillis is with him. So this puts this nomination in jeopardy. Who knows who else may be out there who is not going to support the nomination of Todd Blanche, but this is clearly one of Donald Trump's favorite people. And this nomination is now in doubt over these issues related to the weaponization fund. and tax liability immunities for the president. So I'd love to get your thoughts on this. And again, this is another example of what I think is a very short-sighted activity from the president. He won one battle by taking out John Cornyn. And believe me, I am no fan of John Cornyn. This man is horrible. In fact, I'm going to look at it now and see what his liberty score is because I know it's horrible. I've wanted this guy gone for years, but not for the reasons that he is gone now, if that makes any sense. And by the way, that race is showing that James Talarico could very well win this. If the election were today, Hey, this seat could go Democrat. John Cornyn has a 54. Really wonderful, isn't it? Time-wise, we don't have time to play this exchange. But this is just another friendly reminder about the importance of exercise. Regular exercise is the only way to save arteries from getting blocked by fat and cholesterol deposition. which decreases your heart disease risk by 50%. Exercise. The best heart medicine on earth has zero side effects, costs nothing. It's movement. In a large study, more than 90,000 adults followed for five years. People who were more physically active had a much lower risk of developing heart diseases. The benefit was strongest than those for the highest activity levels. Compared with the least active group, the protective effect was about 48% to 57% in the top overall activity group. 49 to 59 for moderate intensity activity. 54 to 63 for vigorous activity. This happens because exercise improves blood flow. lowers blood pressure, raises good HDL cholesterol, reduces triglycerides, improves insulin sensitivity, and helps control body fat and inflammation. It also makes arteries more flexible and less likely to develop plaque buildup. What is it again? It's exercise. I'm kind of speaking to myself when I say this because I am one of those on and off people. I'll get a street going and I'll do pretty well and then one disruption. A morning gets missed somehow and I get thrown off. So this is your encouragement to restart. If you're one of those people, restart.

So I want to make that very clear before I share this with you. So do everything you can within your ability. to resolve whatever issues are there. But also consider this. Resilience heals. Resilience. What do I mean by resilience? 78% of people in very unhappy marriages who stayed married reported being happily married five years later. Isn't that interesting? It takes time and patience for love to grow back stronger. Psychology shows resilience, consistent communication, and the ability to write out low points often rebuild intimacy over time. Marriage isn't always about avoiding storms, it's about learning how to weather them together. And I think this goes to the heart of much of what is wrong in our society. Many people want quick solutions or they're ready to bail out. And bailing out is not the answer. Weather the storm together, work on what needs to be worked on. And in time, you can have something that you will greatly appreciate. Again, 78% of people in very unhappy marriages who stayed married reported being happily married five years later. Don't just throw the relationship away. I'm speaking to you, sir, ma'am. You've gone through some difficult times. And in some cases, there are things that you're not addressing that you need to. My wife and I were involved in counseling them years ago, and unfortunately they ended up getting in force anyway. He went on to marry someone else. And that marriage was horrible. By the way, she went on and married someone else. They've been happily married ever since. This friend of mine actually communicated to me years ago, I really wish I listened and I worked on my marriage.

He was essentially saying she was a keeper. He should have stayed with his first wife. By the way, I've also recently learned this friend of mine has, after getting a second divorce, within a year, roughly a year or so of the divorce, has gotten married again. Be honest with you, I'm concerned. I'm... And I haven't even touched it. I just haven't. Patience, folks. Resilience. Work at it. Work at it. Work at it. Um. Absolutely amazing. I wanted to get to this exchange. I promised it. This is Rand Paul. Rand Paul is heading up this particular committee and they set the rules. They determine who they're going to hear from and who can't talk. They want to hear from Anthony Fauci, not his attorney who kept trying to talk after Anthony Fauci declined to give any answers. citing his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. Here is how this exchange went with Rand Paul. You're not recognized. You're not recognized. If you are unruly, you will be removed from the proceeding. You are not recognized. And you are not recognized, sir. Sir, you are not recognized. You are not recognized. Security. We'll hold off. But you will respect these proceedings. You were told not to sit at the table. You insist on sitting at the table. And we told you you would not be recognized. You are not invited here for testimony, sir. You are being disruptive. Would you behave this way in a courtroom? No, because the judge would put you in jail. I can't do that today, but I can have you escorted from the premises. So I would say, sir, sit quietly and don't say another word. I said sit quietly you are not recognized. Another word and you're gone. So Mr. Chairman, I'd like to hear what the attorney has to say. He is not recognized by the committee or the chair. If he speaks again, he will be removed from the room. This testimony is from Anthony Fauci. This is not a game with his lawyers. He can advise. His lawyers can give him advice. He's got a half dozen here. They are all allowed to talk to him. Yes. All right? But the attorneys are not recognized. In fact, the attorney was told not to sit at the table, and he's not obeying that recommendation. There's a row behind you, sir. That's where you were told to sit, and you're not. And now you're disrupting the proceedings. And so, look, this is the way Anthony Fauci wants to be remembered. For a lawyer not listening to the rules, that's the way you want to be remembered, and that's what you're going to do. You are not recognized, sir.

Security, please remove in from the room. Let the record state that Dr. Anthony Fauci will still have the advice of the other half a dozen attorneys that he brought along today. See, this is the other thing. You know, we've talked about the military industrial complex. How about the attorney complex? I mean, I would love to see how much these lawyers are getting paid. I mean, really. Just all of the work that's generated for lawyers in the nation's capital, you ever wonder how much? Money is actually made just over a whole lot of nonsense. Washington Times has a great piece, the top five takeaways from the Anthony Fauci Diaries. Dr. Anthony Fauci's stunning pandemic era notes were released this week by Senator Rand Paul after Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. unearthed them. Mr. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the COVID-related almost daily musings of the famed doctor, amounting to more than a thousand pages, were located, guess where? In 11 separate government servers, where they had been sequestered and secreted. See, this goes back to something I said to you before. This is just pure arrogance for somebody to think that these servers are their personal property. They aren't, which is why all of this has been made public. Here are the takeaways. Dr. Anthony Fauci believed the lab leak theory, but called it far-fetched in public. On television, Dr. Anthony Fauci condemned the claim. COVID-19 escaped from a lab in Wuhan. As a conspiracy theory and the virus likely emerged naturally, possibly from a wet market in Wuhan, where animals were slaughtered. A diary entries from the early weeks of the pandemic showed Dr. Anthony Fauci, then the had the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, thought a lab leak was possible and that it did not start in the wet market. Dr. Anthony Fauci participated on a call. February 1st, 2020 with a dozen scientists to discuss the emerging virus. His notes reveal 10 of the scientists on the call said they believe COVID-19 was created in a lab. They bring up the possibility. This could have been deliberately inserted and either accidentally released or deliberately released by a crazy person in the lab, the former being the most likely. It's what Anthony Fauci wrote after the call. Now we know the market was not the source. It was the amplifier. Despite this admission, Dr. Anthony Fauci publicly maintained as late as June 2024 that the data and scientists supported the theory that the origins of COVID-19 centered on the wet market, not a leak from the Wuhan lab. This guy is just such a liar. He pushed for school closures while denying involvement. Dr. Anthony Fauci publicly insisted he had no role in the prolonged school closures to kept children out of the classroom for months from in some cases longer than a year.

Yet in his diary entries, Dr. Anthony Fauci said he told New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and California Governor Gavin Newsom March 15th, 2020, shut down the schools. And they did. Keeping more than 7 million children out of the classroom for a year or longer, setting up chain reaction closures of school systems across the country. Congratulations, huh? Yet he told ABC News October 22, he had nothing to do with school closures, insisted that he always said, we've got to do everything we can to keep schools open. He stifled disclosure of the vaccines in effectiveness. A diary entry, August 13th, 2022. Dr. Anthony Fauci convinced the Centers for Disease Control to kill a statement they plan to release to the public warning of absolute lack of efficacy of vaccines against infections and transmissions. Dr. Anthony Fauci wrote in his diary he convinced the CDC to take a more measured approach and say the shots provide modest and waning efficacy against the virus. Dr. Anthony Fauci said he pushed the CDC to minimize the effectiveness of the vaccine to avoid undermining the Biden administration's vaccine mandates or discouraging people from getting COVID-19 booster shots, which also turned out to be ineffective in stopping infection. While far less effective at preventing the spread of the virus, the COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots reduced the severity of the virus and cut hospital stays in half among those who get sick, according to the journal of the American Medical Association. And here's something a lot of people did not know. He hit his own possible injury from the vaccine. I also asked the president about those U.S. and Saudi air strikes against Iran-backed Iraqi Shia militias overnight. He says those strikes were coordinated with the Iraqi government. He called these Iran-backed militias a cancer on the world and says he is considering additional warnings against Iranian proxies and their link to the Iranian regime.

cover the costs of a project that's never going to happen. The Observer reports the NCDOC is pushing DOT pushing $300 million in community benefits. If the I-77 toll project is restored, $300 million in community investments could be unlocked, we are told. This would assist communities that would be negatively impacted by this project. Hmm. Daniel Johnson, the NCDOT secretary, saying this in a letter to community leaders, it must also be measured by whether we leave the community along the corridor better than we found it. This letter first reported by WSRC, the Charlotte Observer's News Partner. NCDOT allocated 600 million for the projects already spent around 64 million. The agency also planned to provide an additional 100 million that would have been spent on transportation projects of the city's choosing. According to Johnson's letter, the project's model allows NCDOT to incorporate community feedback in developing a request for proposals. This is after state officials privately met with community leaders earlier this month. So is this going to work? According to the letter, the project could deliver several hundred million dollars to small businesses while supporting 5,700 jobs each year in construction. NCDOT would require the developer in the state in the project to meaningfully engage with small businesses along the quarter. The state would also prioritize corridor hiring and workforce development opportunities into project delivery where appropriate. Hmm. Is this now going to be more irresistible to people along that quarter? to accept this. Corinne Mack, who is the NWACP president, said in an email to the city council last week. The meeting with state officials instilled a sense of optimism about finally addressing long-standing concerns with Charlotte's West Corridor communities, but also sparked some concern.
