And I'm happy to be back because, you know, I'm in an empty house now. The kids are off on their adventures. And it's like, it is nice to have you around. Just wait. That was a joke. Just wait. Humans ultimately start bugging you. Yeah. Hey. Well, I got hours during the day when I don't have to deal with them. Okay, all right. But it's nice to be around people. 625 WMBD. It's Greg and Dan show a few years back, 2018, actually, April of 2018. We heard about Todd Walker. He bestowed a kindness to a young mom traveling with her two little kids. We heard about it. I told Danny, he said, way to go, Todd. And every day since then, we have. told you that story of him and then you. You have a story somewhere. Yesterday it teed up for the troops. I ran into a young man who sent me a story, Danny. He started dating his wife, Barbara, 55 years ago. Forgive me, I think his name is Bill. And Bill and Barbara 55 years ago started dating, and he knew that his wife, at that time girlfriend, wife later, loved her dad. And she knew that her dad. bestowed kindness on garbage men. I think this story happened while you were out a few weeks back. And she, for 22 years, once a week, leaves treats for the garbage guys. 22 years, once a week. Oh, man. So I told that story. Bill came out to me yesterday at Teed out for the Tribes. He had many of his buddies were playing. And he goes, hey, I played that. You sent me the audio, and I played it for my wife as a surprise. And a little tear came down her eye. And I said, well, mission accomplished, buddy. And we did it. We made sure that Barbara knows you're doing a nice thing. Barbara, don't stop. Don't stop. Don't stop. You know, it's nice. First of all, and I try to treat the garbage people nice. I don't see them. I know, but if you have your garbage out, make it. neat for them to pick up you know what i'm saying it's like what i want to uh but by taking care of them uh i'm not saying they do this but they could probably you know the the the garbage guys come up and they go is that a nuclear reactor i know what's you're saying take it it's barbara it's barbara the orio and barbara are nice to me so i will pick up the nuclear reactor is what you're saying Right? Exactly. Okay, I got you. Hey, today's is a story out of Brazil. This actually happened a few months back. I saw it yesterday and came back to it. We're in a place called Moro Reuter. That's a restaurant in Brazil. And they were having a busy Sunday lunch, brunch lunch, busy. Big power outage. shuts down everything. Kitchen can't work. Nobody can pay their bill because the cash registers don't work. Nothing. And nobody has cash anymore and all that stuff. So the owner said, hey, could you just write your name down and your phone number? And we'll sort all this out later. And everybody did that. Within the day.

There were 104 patrons, $12,000 in tab, not a little amount of money. Within half a day, or within half a day, half of those patrons went online and paid electronically. And within three days, the rest of them came in and paid. Not one person skipped out on their bill. That's pretty amazing. That is amazing. So he saved 12 grand. They restored his faith in humanity. You don't have this, this, and this. Or he go, hey, finish up. Take your time, finish up. And if you... Well, I'm reading here, they had all finished eating. Okay. I don't know if that was maybe because it was like a brunch kind of thing. Yeah. That seems odd that everybody would have been done. So it happened right before they were supposed to pay. Yeah, something like that.
