Tuesday's With Howie Carr

How are things today, sir? Very good. Very good. I'm on vacation from the show, but I'm just sitting here. We're looking at the ocean on Cape Cod. So I'm just enjoying myself. And I'm looking forward to seeing what happens today in the Democrat primaries in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Well, I'm guessing that you might have a prediction, perhaps, Howie Carr? Do you think that the far-left candidates win once again, sir? Well, I mean, in Wisconsin, I think, yes, Hong wins. I mean, she's fighting the colonizers. You know, the white people who've been in Wisconsin for 400 years. Her family arrived about 20 years ago, but now she's fighting colonizers. And Thanksgiving, too, and the 4th of July and Christmas. And Halloween. I'm really shocked. I thought fighting Halloween would be not liking Halloween was almost like a hate crime against the transphobic community. But I don't know. Things are changing so rapidly, Matt, it's hard to keep abreast of everything. And then in Minnesota, I was just, I didn't realize this, but. You have Peggy Flanagan, the lieutenant governor. She's Tim Walz is wingman. So she has a lot to answer for with fraud. She claimed she's part Indian. And she's running against the congresswoman, Angie Craig, who's gay and not from Minnesota. So, you know, I don't know what, again, what, you know, with the intersectionality here, who is the Indian from Minnesota better than the lesbian who's not from Minnesota? I mean, who's going to win? And they're both females, of course. So who wins that one? I don't know. It's a it's a contest for all time. Mowiecar. You know, in Wisconsin, I mean, that's a, I've seen some polling there that, you know, they're taking a lot of risks across the country. Let me just put it to you that way, right, with these candidates, right? You know, this is obviously a Trump midterm year. That's never really a good thing for any incumbent, whoever they are. But the Democratic Party keeps making choices that are keeping the Republicans in these in these races because of how loony some of these candidates are. I mean, Republicans are making their own mistakes across the country, but they still might end up winning as a result of this because of how, I mean, you know, in Michigan. Yeah, I think Kong looks like the weakest one of the months. She's pretty awful. Yeah. I mean, even Bernie Sanders is distancing himself from her. Yeah. I mean, how crazy do you have to be for that? I mean. It's really insane. I mean, yeah, you're right. They're keeping the Republicans in the game. But yet they're at the same time very much exciting their base. And that gets to what's happening in the Democratic Party and what has been happening for quite some time here. How do you track that, Howie? I mean, you've got to think if they just nominated sane people, like rational, normal human beings, they'd be sitting pretty right now. Well, that's the point. Well, exactly. Like, why? I mean, is that really?

If you're in the Democratic war rooms, you know, the smoke-filled rooms and you're smoking your cigars and stuff like that, like, this is what you're cooking up? I don't quite understand how they have so gone that far in that direction. You know, maybe you can't say this, but the Democrat primaries seem to have been taken over by women in most states. And the men are gone. And so you just nominate a woman and she wins. And it's just, it's just crazy. You know, I just was looking at some, we have a race in the largest county in Massachusetts. There's a really terrible woman that's, you know, in her 70s running for reelection. And she's opposed by this younger, younger guy from her office. And so they have this old lady from the office saying, just because Marianne, that's the name, is a woman, you know, don't be tricked into thinking it's progressive to vote for the woman. But I mean, most of the people who are voting in Democrat primaries can't be bothered looking at any facts. You know? They're just looking at their feeds. They're just looking at what's on Instagram or TikTok. And the, you know, I mean, I know the electorate as a whole is dumbed down from what it was 20, 30 years ago. But it's. It's worse on the Democrat side, isn't it? Yeah, no, it absolutely is. But I still struggle with why. I mean, like, why have they allowed, I mean, it didn't happen yesterday. This took place over 20, 30 years plus. But I'm just figuring out why they would have allowed their party to become this. Because it's just not attractive. It's attractive to like the hardcore crazies that I guess show up in primaries. But it's not attractive to literally anybody else. I mean, they've gone so far off the rails that they're jeopardizing their ability to win basically any major elections. I mean, it really is a possibility that they lose this midterm overall. And if that kind of thing happens, that's like an all-time humiliation. And it would be because of who they choose as candidates. And why do you want them? Now that I think about it, the other irony is that a lot of these people got their start in Democrat. politics in social media by saying nutty stop. And now, As we all know, the internet is forever, so it's all coming back to haunt them. Like, like a look about platinum. And in Texas still, James Talarico, every day there's more crap coming out on James Talarico, you know? And it's all social media. And that's how he made his bones by being the nuttiest, the nuttiest cashew and the, yeah, yeah, the planters, uh, planters resume roster. Yeah, well, you don't get attention by being normal.

Right. You get attention by being insane, right? Just being as bombastic as possible and saying just fruity things, which are good for you getting attention and social media likes and, you know, maybe winning a primary with a bunch of crazies voting, but not great in a general. Yeah. Talking about calling white people colonizers when your parents just arrived in the country in 1987. Yeah. I mean, that's good. That works in the primary. But, you know, the average person. Who has to get up in the morning and go to work? It's not going to be that impressed. I don't think. I don't think. I don't know anymore. Well, I don't think they'll be impressed. But the question is, will they go vote? I mean, that's the thing, the one remaining thing that sort of, quote, unquote, scares me about all this is motivation. Like, I think a lot of normal people are turning pretty apathetic and they're... You know, they're not exactly all that happy with the Republicans either. I mean, I'm not. They just, you know, basically left for Congress after having done nothing and are going back to campaign at home and I'm not sure what they're campaigning on. So, you know, I mean, even I'm turning a little apathetic. So do you go vote if you're apathetic? And if you don't go vote, then it's just the crazy people left. And ta-da, that's how you get some of these people elected. Well, I think one of the problems is that, you know, people were scared during, you know, during Obama. They were scared during Biden. And that's why gun sales went. I think gun sales are a real leading indicator, you know. And they went through the roof when they thought that Democrats were going to do away with the Second Amendment and just, you know. become even more of a, you know, police state than they were, you know, during COVID, BLM and, et cetera, canceling people. But once Trump gets in, the gun sales, you know, plummet because people are less concerned and they're less worried. And I still think they're less worried than they were. Yeah, I think that's right. Speaking of COVID, Howie Carr, I was talking before you joined about the text messages being dropped by Ron Johnson and Rand Paul. This is the latest Anthony Fauci adventure. We have his diary, which is really just the gift that keeps on giving. There's unending fun things in the diary. But the text messages show, and stop me if you've heard this before, that he was saying one thing in public and he was saying something very different in private, expressing some concerns about the effect that the vaccines may be having on pregnant women, for instance, In public, they were saying, that's fine. Just take it. Right. Highlighting exactly what was wrong with this. That's why a lot of women, like especially in like, you know, law enforcement and hospitals, that's why they got fired because they were, you know, in the prime childbearing years. And they were worried. And now we see that Anthony Fauci and Walenski and the rest of them knew that they had very good reason to be worried. And again, you're right. They were going out and lying about it. Just like they were lying about the fact that children could get sick and die from this thing. And that mask made a difference. And, you know, I mean, Rand Paul has the whole list. So does Ron. They all have the whole list run down. They lied about literally everything. And then they just say, oh, you know, it's time to move on. They did the best they can. You're taking it out of contact.
