You could hear it later or tomorrow. We're live on YouTube, live on X, subscribe, become a member, YouTube.com slash at John Cobelt Show. And we're going to do a live stream on Thursday on YouTube and X live stream on Thursday for about an hour. I've got some, I, we got a new ridiculous character that's getting more and more attention. Megan Romer is her name. She's co-chair of the National Democratic Socialists of America. And this is the organization that Nithya Raman has sworn a blood oath to. And Romer, we played you, and we're going to play it again in just a moment. gone on one of those Sunday morning political shows and gave a list of the things that she is going to abolish if her DSA party gets enough power. Well, she was on another video podcast with David Remnick from the New Yorker magazine, and she went on about taxing the hell out of millionaires. But she couldn't explain exactly what that meant. We'll tell you about it in just a moment. I saw this today. I think I mentioned this woman a few days ago, Justine Bateman. She's a filmmaker, an actress, and she puts out some great posts on X. And she weighed in on Karen Bass, because we were talking about the very low IQ of not only Bass, but Rahman, Isabel Harado, Imelda Alex Padilla. They're all the same person, and they're all dumb as rocks. Well, I heard a new one the other day. Somebody said, she's as dumb as a box of hair.

3:22

I hadn't heard that particular twist. I have never heard that before. Tom is a box of hair. Well, that's Karen Bass. And Justine Bateman wrote this. I'll tell you something about Karen Bass. Remember, she's in the film industry. Three months after she was elected, she spoke at one of the guilds. She clearly knew nothing about the film industry. I mean nothing. It was shocking. At one point, she asked that film productions give jobs to homeless people. that this quote would really help her out. What kind of idiot walks into a room of mostly out-of-work people in an industry that is collapsing upon itself that does productions with limited time and money where a mistake from one inexperienced worker can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and suggest that unskilled, perhaps drug-addled, clueless, homeless people should be employed instead of qualified guild members? This was one of the many aspects of the film business, of which she was utterly ignorant. It's a complete fabrication that she has, quote, been fighting for the film industry most of her career. Complete fabrication, wrote Justine Bateman about Karen Bass. This is just another little vignette about what we're dealing with here. Now, she's running against Nithya Raman. Rahman is a member of the DSA, Democratic Socialists. The national co-chair, Megan Romer, has been giving television interviews. By the way, this woman is wildly overfed. And she wears bizarre glasses, bugged out eyes, looks crazy. I mean, just looks absolutely nuts. Looks nuttier than the homeless people in the street. And... Well, I'm going to play what Megan Romer said on, I think she was on Fox News Sunday a couple of weeks ago when she was asked about the, again, this is Nithya Raman's group. Okay, so what Romer is in favor of, Roma is in favor of. Play the clip. I want to ask you, just give me sort of a true or false on these. Abolish the Senate. True. Okay. Replace the presidency and Supreme Court as we now know them. Yep. Abolish ICE. Absolutely. Abolish borders and give amnesty to anyone currently in the U.S. illegally. As a long-term plan, yep. Defund the Pentagon. Absolutely. Abolish prisons, at least in large part. Yeah, again, as part of a long-term program, yeah. Okay, so no prisons. Government or public ownership of most large corporations. Yeah, absolutely. Did you get all that? Abolish the Senate. Get rid of the presidency, the Supreme Court, abolish ICE, abolish prisons, abolish the border, stop funding the Pentagon, and have the government own most large corporations. This is the Nithya Raman crowd.

6:32

Well, in between bites, Megan found time to go on a podcast that David Remick hosts. Remnick is one of the top editors, maybe the top editor, I think, at New Yorker magazine, and he has a video podcast. And listen to Romer pop off about taxing millionaires. But we do believe in taxing the hell out of millionaires. Yeah, absolutely. Well, what is taxing the hell out of them mean? Yeah, you know, again, I don't have like a solid, but I think but shouldn't you? I mean, if you're the co-chair of the DSA, shouldn't you be more specific than just taxing the hell out of something? What exactly do you mean? So again, it's democracy, right? And we have to look at what we need to spend and what we need. We don't want to depend on the existence of millionaires because that means people are still getting exploited. So yeah, we need to look at what we need to pay for in the interim, what sort of tax base we need for that to happen and then and build from there.

7:46

Kamala Harris would be ashamed of that. By the way, Renick is a real left-wing guy. He's running the New Yorker, okay? What is taxing the hell out of him mean? I'm going to read you verbatim. Yeah, you know, again, I don't have like a solid. When Remnick says, well, exactly what do you mean? So again, it's democracy, right? And she wants to tax them, but she doesn't want them to exist because if they exist, it means people are getting exploited. So she wants to abolish millionaires too, not just billionaires. Play the second one again. But we do believe in taxing the hell out of millionaires. Yeah, absolutely. Well, what is taxing the hell out of them mean? Yeah, you know, again, I don't have like a solid, but I think but shouldn't you? I mean, if you're the co-chair, if you're the co-chair of the DSA, shouldn't you be more specific than just taxing the hell out of something? What exactly do you mean? So again, it's democracy, right? And we have to look at what we need to spend and what we need. We don't want to depend on the existence of millionaires because that means people are still getting exploited. So, yeah, we need to look at what we need to pay for in the interim, what sort of tax base we need for that to happen and then build from there. Yeah, Nithya Raman formerly ran the homeless committee, running for mayor, DSA member. Isabel Horado taking over the homeless committee, DSA member.

9:33

Her district has Skid Row. This is what we got. Nobody ever asked her, what does that mean? Taxing. I mean, it's a slogan that they shout at their stupid rallies. But you ask them, what does that mean? Well, you know, I don't have like a solid. She should have said, look, it's just a stupid slogan we use. And it riles up all the terminally stupid people who follow us. How do the stupidest people end up with this much influence? How is it possible like the bottom 10% in terms of IQ end up running a lot of the policy here in Los Angeles? I need to know how this occurs. This shouldn't be. Because these are the people who, if they were any stupider, wouldn't be able to feed themselves. They wouldn't be able to speak. So how is it when you're one notch above not being able to feed yourself? You've got four of your members on the city council, one of them running for mayor, another one, the mayor of New York City, and they can't explain anything. It's not that they can't explain a single idea how any of this would work. And normally, a society would completely ignore them as being raging lunatics, raving maniacs. But there you know, Megan Romer, Nithya Raman's boss. We'll do more when we come back. What if the vacation you thought you couldn't afford is already paid for? That's exactly what point dot me helps you discover. First, if you have credit card points, stop wasting them in your card's travel portal. Point dot me, turn your points into the trip you thought you couldn't afford. You're listening to John Cobalt on demand from KFI AM 640. KFI AM 640. More stimulating talk radio. The John Cobalt show. Hey, Moist Line is Friday. Twice than 5 o'clock hour. 877 Moist 86. 877 Moist 86. You use the talkback feature. And maybe you have a lot of emotion that you need to process over that eagle. By the way, Debra, you're really pushing it on the eagle. Okay. I just came back from the restroom. What did I miss? You're really pushing it on with the Eagle stories with all those clips. I think that people are tuning, coming in and out, right? Not everybody listens to the, you know, full three hours of your show. The people who said that the Eagle was part of their life. No, it wasn't. Well, obviously they said that it was, then it must have been. I'm not speaking for anybody. Here's more insanity.

13:09

This is really crazy. I cannot believe the stuff in the last few years that we've talked about on the air. And the issues and the opinions on these issues, I feel like I have dropped through a trap door. And I'm in some kind of alternate reality. Did you hear about the two NBA players? who've announced that they are going to enter the draft for the WNBA, the Women's League. I heard about it. Yeah, I heard about it. Let me give you some background if you're not keeping track, because I have watched exactly zero WNBA games. I've watched plenty of everything else, but... I have about as much interest in the WNBA as I have in those bald eagles. So there is a star player named Sophie Cunningham from the Indiana Fever. And she went public on ESPN saying that transgender athletes should not play in women's sports because they're guys. There are guys. Now there's all kinds of protests outside Fever's road games, public statements from coaches in support of having men play in a women's league. And then you had two former NBA players, Ennis Cantor Freedom, that's his name, Ennis Cantor Freedom, and Royce White, and both declared themselves eligible for the 2027 draft. Both of them say, that they identify as a woman. Royce White said he identifies as transgender sometimes for the purpose of basketball, professional basketball. So when he's on the court playing the other women, he'll be a woman too. But the rest of the time, he'll go back to being a man. This is just great. This is brilliant. Now, it turns out the WNBA does not have a detailed definition of what a woman is. So the commissioner of the WNBA, what's our name, Engelbert? Kathy Englebert. Yeah. She sent a memo Friday afternoon addressing this issue. I know many of you have received questions in recent weeks regarding transgender athlete participation in women's basketball. I expect this topic will continue to receive significant attention. I want to reach out and share how we're approaching these conversations at the league office and thank those of you responded to questions from the media with thoughtfulness and professionalism. And they're going to have like some kind of emergency task force meeting to determine what a woman is. And these two guys are saying, oh, I'll be a woman. What are you paying? Because they retired from the league a few years ago. It's like, well, I can still do this. I wouldn't say they were retired. They were kind of blackballed. Oh, they were both blackballed? What did they do? They got some.

16:32

They're outspoken. Ennis Cantor Freedom, he's Turkish and he's very outspoken against Recep Tayyip Erdogan. His dad was detained by the Turkish government. It's a whole thing. And the NBA blackballed him? Yeah, he's very outspoken on certain issues. So he just don't want to deal with him. He needs the work. Yeah. He needs the work. So he's thinking, all right, I'll be a woman. No big deal. Now, I have a helpful, I could short circuit this. This task force conference they're having on what a woman is. Oh, I'm sure you can. Well, I look this up. Men have an X, Y, chromosome. Women have an X, X, X. All right, so I'm going beyond the genitals here. We don't have to argue about whether they have a penis of a vagina. They have a reconstructed version of either one. You want to get to the heart of whether somebody's a man or a woman, no matter what they do to their body, you look at the chromosomes. Infallible test. Just cut a piece of hair, do a little Eric Swalwell, do a test. So you got that? X, Y, chromosome, male, X, X, X, X, chromosome, female. That differentiates a male from a female. Everything else is dress up or bizarre surgery. And that's the truth. So what other decision are they going to come to? There's no other opinion. There's no other defensible explanation. You're born either with the X, X or the X, Y, period. Full stop, as Gavin Newsom would say. Nothing else to it. All this controversy is fake controversy. It's a fake debate. It's nonsense. It's ridiculous. It's absurd. And Ennis Cantor Freedom and Royce White are showing how absurd it is. And I give it to White for saying, oh, I'm just going to be a woman on the court plane. The commissioner doesn't know what to do because she doesn't want the craziest picketing her at her house.

18:52

The league would probably be better to watch if they allowed guys to play. All right. When we come back, can't get away from the world's dumbest mayor, dumb as a box of hair, Karen Bass. LA Times did a front page story over the weekend about her stupid Inside Safe program. Massive failure. And it's about how the inside safe team went to two dozen locations over and over and over and over and over and over. They went at least five or more or more times. And every time they removed the homeless, the homeless came back. We'll talk about it. You're listening to John Cobalt on demand from KFI AM 640. KFI AM 640, more stimulating talk radio. John Cobalt show, we are on from 3 to 6 and we'll have that podcast for you just after 6 o'clock. We're live on X, live on YouTube. Get over there now and also enjoy the chat room today. This is good stuff here. Karen Bass. Incredibly stupid woman. She, of course, wants four more years. So do you want four more years of this? L.A. Times, which endorsed her twice. Twice. They said she's the best choice we have. Better than Rick Caruso. Can you imagine the size? of the brain inside the editorial writers who thought that Karen Bass was a better choice than Rick Caruso. Could you even find it on a MRI? Could you even find evidence that they had a brain? Maybe a little... I'd be the size of a fleas navel. Yeah. Better choice than Rick Caruso. Okay. LA Times, though, now it's printing truth instead of propaganda, at least on this story, not always. They found that over a three-year period, Karen Bass had about two dozen inside safe locations that no matter how many times they cleared the bodies out. The mental patients and the drug addicts kept going back. Now, I'll give you what the locations are in just a moment, but I can solve this really quickly. The way I solved the whole transgender problem in the WNBA, you know, simply do a chromosome test. And if it's X, X, that's a boy. And if it's X, Y, that's a girl. So for this, here's an idea.

22:07

You go to one of these encampments. A lot of them in this story appear to be over the 110 freeway on overpasses. So go to these encampments. And then after you clear the homeless out, have the police go by there every hour and remove anybody who wanders back. Just put up a sign, whatever legal sign you need to put up, which says no camping, no sleeping, no tent, no whatever, no everything, okay? It's like the no parking signs when it says no parking any time. No squatting, sleeping, no laying around any time. And the way you find people hundreds of dollars if they park in a no parking zone. Same thing. You issue them a citation. Repeat offender. You're going to jail. It's simple. And you have the police. You keep picking them up. Put them in the back of the car. Pick them up. Put them in the back of the car. They'll disappear on their own. I'll give a crap where they go. It's hopeless anyway. They're hopeless. A lot of people out in the street are hopeless. Let them go have their drugs. They'll wander into the desert and that's where they ought to spend their last days. I mean, I've just completely had it. No more compassion, no more money, enough. Most other cities don't have this crap. So here's what it's like for a normal citizen in Los Angeles. Abigail Aguier. She's been sleeping terribly. Too many times residents of a nearby homeless encampment have partied late into the night yelling, blasting music. The noise is hard on her husband because he's got to leave for his job before 5 a.m. Look at this woman has a husband who works. And the people who don't work, but they shoot up drugs all night, is keeping this poor guy up. And Karen Bass? sides with the drug addicts who scream into the night. Not with the guy who gets up before five in the morning to go to work. That's all you need to know as to what's wrong here. But more people, no matter how many times they clean dozens of homeless people from Abigail Aguier's neighborhood, stuff them into the hotels and motels with this Daffy Inside Safe program. sanitation crews come and clear the streets and the sidewalks are trash, but more people and their tents keep on coming. Because the police don't enforce the law, because Karen Bass will not let them enforce the law. So she does these cleanups for show, and it's total BS. Complete bullcrap. Not just near McGuire's home, but on many of the east-west streets that pass over the 110. South of downtown. 43rd Street, the overpass, an encampment. 49th Street, an encampment. 51st, an encampment. Vernon Avenue, an encampment. They keep cleaning them up. They keep coming back. Remember, street homelessness up 8%. Inside safe, massive failure. Among the people they get off the street, over 40%,

25:44

are back on the streets. That's a big failure. According to records obtained by the times, the streets that line the 110 freeway between 42nd and 58th, outreach workers carried out inside safe operations 25 times on that one mile stretch, 25 times. Returning again and again to bring people indoors. A handful of streets, east of MacArthur Park, they've gone ten times. Ten times. In Hollywood, Franklin, Argyle avenues, eight times. By the fourth quarter... 80% of inside safe operations, 36 out of 45 involved areas that had, quote, repopulated. That's the term they use. It repopulated. No, the mental patients and the drug addicts came back, went back to shooting up drugs and screaming all night. The police should have kicked them out over and over again. Put them in jail. You kicked them out, you put them in jail. Ouch. That's it. For the transgender's XX, X, Y chromosome. Male, female. For this, once you've been given a motel room, you come back, now you go to jail. These are all people who got motel rooms. Insight Safe puts you to motel room. Now, 80% of Insight Safe encampments are repeat business. Repeat business five, ten times or more. How stupid is this? How stupid can these people be? It's a racket. They're criminals. They know, I call them stupid, but it's a criminal racket. They know it's a criminal racket. They know it doesn't work. They don't care. They're all making money. The biggest problems are freeway overpasses. which are attractive to homeless people because they provide shelter from the scorching summer sun and the winter's pouring rain. Oh, stuff it. The scorching summer sun. I think the motel room keeps you out of the sun and the rain too. And they don't even care if you do drugs in the motel room. Freeways and industrial areas are so popular because they provide some degree of privacy. Yeah. When I'm looking for privacy, I set up under a freeway. That's where you can be left alone. God, this is such incredible nonsense and garbage. I've got to take a break. I've got more here because we've got one. We've got one person who represents, imagine representing businesses on Skid Row, Estella Lopez. Well, she has figured out why the homeless keep coming back. And she's figured out two reasons. Tell you both. What if the vacation you thought you couldn't afford is already paid for? That's exactly what point.combe helps you discover.

29:21

Pointe dot me, turn your points into the trip you thought you couldn't afford. You're listening to John Cobalt on demand from KFI AM 640. KFI AM 640, more stimulating talk radio, John Cobalt Show. And I've been telling you about the massive failure of Inside Safe that even the L.A. Times is now forced to do front page stories on. Yes, their choice, Karen Bass. over Rick Caruso twice back in 2022. That was their endorsement. And now they have to write about what a terrible failure she is. Inside Safe is awful. They have dozens of places where the outreach people have to go back over and over and over again, five times, ten times. A lot of them in South L.A. A lot of them on the freeway overpasses. That's where they build their tents. That's where there's an enormous... In fact, the Times calls it huge mounds of trash. Yes, huge mounds of trash. In the street, a refrigerator missing a door was on its back, overflowing with garbage. During one operation, Inside Safe brought 42 people inside. A month later, 54 more people came indoors. This is, this is, on other occasions, progress with single digits. Eventually, the homeless didn't want to come in. Two people during one visit, five on another. And despite three years of this, dozens of attempts on the same streets, the same overpasses, overlooking the 110 in South L.A.

31:58

They still come back and they stay. It's called repopulation. I shuffled my papers in anger so much. I can't find what I wanted to read. Here we go. Estella Lopez, head of the downtown industrial business improvement district. Boy, here's a job for her. She represents businesses on Skid Row. She says repopulation. Hate that word. Happens for a simple reason. Lack of enforcement. She said, oh, I think I said this 10 minutes ago. Once an encampment is cleared and people are moved indoors. Remember, these are the ones who get a free hotel room. They get a free motel room. Once they're moved indoors, police should enforce city laws. And they don't. Bass doesn't have the police enforced the laws and the same people come out of their free room in the motel and start shooting up again on the street and drinking and screaming. What possible reason is for that? Why did you even bother? We spent an enormous amount of money. This motel and hotel rooms are not cheap. This is not something that's affordable. Even Bass said so. But we put them in. Then when they leave, and nearly half of them leave, they go back on the street, and we don't, we don't, we don't arrest them. We don't force them to clear out of that neighborhood. Then why did you bother? Lopez says another reason the homeless people keep coming back. That's where the drugs are. It's Skid Row and Skid Row is where the drugs are and has the fewest consequences for open-air drug use and sales. The fewest. There aren't any. There's no consequences. In fact, adding to all the open-air drug use is now they're sacrificing animals. Animal sacrifice is going on. And the police don't enforce that either. So they don't enforce blatant drug use. And they don't enforce animal sacrifice as the dog experiments continue. The testing of drugs on dogs continues. And I mentioned this before. PETA sent us today a letter touting all the good work they do around the country in places like North Carolina and Virginia and Maryland, and they saved this dog and that giraffe. They don't do anything here. They don't do anything here for the dogs dying in Skid Row. Wow. Homeless people are sacred. Jim McDonald won't do anything running the police department. Neither does bass. Neither does the councilwoman. Isabel Harada. Peter won't do anything. People for the ethical treatment of animals. Is it ethical for drug addicts to test their drugs on their dogs and kill their dogs? Is that ethical? Unfekin believable. All right. We'll have more tomorrow. Conway coming up in minutes. And we've got Michael Crozier in the news live in the KFI 24-hour newsroom. You've been listening to the John Cobalt Show podcast. You can always hear the show live on KFI AM 640 from 3 to 6 p.m. every Monday through Friday. And of course, anytime on demand on the IHeart Radio app. KFI AM 64. 64. More stimulating talk.
