Let's get to it. It's time for the good, the bad, and the ugly. All right, the good out of the weekend. I mean, I got to start and give it to Patrick Mahomes. spoke over the weekend about his knee. He has seven months removed from tearing multiple ligaments in that loss of the chargers. And he said on Saturday, it feels great, pushing every single day, trying to stack days together. I feel like when you're tired, sometimes you don't even think about it. So I'm trying to protect it. But at the same time, I'm trying to push it and get myself ready to go for the season. Wow. Okay, Mahomes. I mean, I don't know, Mark, you know better than me. It looks like he's... Full system go here ahead of the season starting on September 14th. Oh, yeah. I don't think he's going to play in the preseason. I think you're just going to be cautious with that. So if people start freaking out, but he's not playing in the preseason, no, I think they're just keeping it safe. But I think he's going to be starting week one. We've seen how he does coming back from injuries before, whether it be ankle injuries in the playoffs or dislocating his knee and then coming back two weeks later. He just heals faster than the normal person. So they open up actually the preseason this Saturday. They're taking on the Rams. Yep. I'm expecting a heavy dose of Justin Fields. Okay. That's fine. Yeah. Andy Reid indicated that Mahomes is unlikely to play in the preseason opener. that's fine. That's totally fine, right? I mean, although could you give them one snap? Just like one. Come on, for the people that are going, I'm probably going to try to, you know, last minute get some super cheap tickets for the girls. My second, Chloe, she has not obviously been to a game at five years old. Claire and I went to a preseason game two years ago. Last year, the only home preseason game was like a weeknight, so I didn't bother. But, you know, if you can snag some. cheap one Saturday, and with the homes not playing, you'll probably be able to get in for a pretty, you know, low-cost dollar amount. Oh, yeah. You'll pay more for parking than you will the tickets, you know. Justin Fields is an exciting player. Yeah, no, no, no, yeah. I mean, listen, you go for the experience. You go for, you know, getting out to Arrowhead. You're not going to go to break down the backup tight end. At least I'm not going for that reason. Mark would go for that reason. Well, maybe. Maybe. But either way, it's pretty cool. Season is back.

So I guess we have our first Red Friday this week. That's right. And it's Arrowhead again. Yes. There you go. I mean, who was calling it the dopey G-E-H-A field? Who was doing that? Just the Clarks. Yeah. Yeah. Explain that reference really quickly. Oh, yeah, Dwayne Bo called him the Clarks. And when he got his extension with the cheese, he's like, thank you to the Clarks instead of the Hunts. Dwayne Bo, who was at training camp last week, right? He was there. Oh, yeah, he was there. He looked like a washed up rapper is what he looked like. Big Dwayne Bo is what we call him now. Speaking of washed up rappers, I saw Neo and Acon were in town at Morton Amphitheater over the weekend. You know what, though? I got to be honest. Neo and Acon, they got some jams from back in the day, but they're definitely washed up. Saw some high school friends were out at that, and I was happy not to be there. Yeah, I mean, what are you, reliving 2008 at this point? 2006 to 2008, give or take? I mean, that was our heyday, but come on now. That's a bit much. All right, the bad from the weekend, the latest drama around the WMBA. So Sophie Cunningham, Mizzou's finest, got clothes lined. going in for a layup over the weekend. And the woman who closelined her got ejected. Now, she happened to be black. She gets ejected. She goes back to the locker room and she posts on social media in all caps, two words, white privilege. The implication being that Sophie Cunningham, who she just absolutely hammered. was the recipient of white privilege, and that is why she, a black woman, got ejected from the game. I mean, this league's a joke. Listen, this league has so much potential. This league was on the precipice of really exploding in popularity. And they have just been their own worst enemy at every single turn on some of this. You know, culture war, social stuff, trans stuff. They cannot get out of their own way. And they're destroying their own product, which can be really good and really appealing to people like me with three young daughters. And then I just see these headlines and I'm like, what is this operation doing? The commissioners and the coaches can't tell you what a woman is. You got Ennis Cantor who played in the NBA who said over the weekend he's going to declare for the WNBA draft next year and see what happens. So they're going to be forced into finally defining what they perceive a woman to be. And then you got racism accusations left and right. My goodness, man. They've got to check themselves here in the mirror and realize they have an amazing opportunity and they're all letting it slip away. Every single one of them.

The ugly from the weekend. Ohio Republican Max Miller is going to stay in his race for re-election despite abuse allegations that have rocked his campaign and prompted growing calls from fellow Republicans for him to drop out. Millers denied the allegations of abuse from his ex-wife. It's awkward because Miller's father-in-law is Ohio U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno. He wants him out. But Miller would have had to drop out by Saturday night. He elected not to do that. Trump apparently tried to maybe coax him into dropping out, and he said no. So in what's going to be a very close race for the U.S. House, the Republicans could be in for a wool to hurt in this solidly red seat because Max Miller decided to stay in. I don't know if the accusations are true or not. But at the same time, if you care about the future of your party, at least Graham Platner was like, I'm done here. I'm out. Max Miller's like, no, full steam ahead, which means he's putting himself over his own political party that he seemingly seems to care about. What does one trip to Israel do?
