You know, so I'm doing some research as I'm thinking about the cars on 5th, and we're getting ready to talk about grassroots candidates. And I was like, who's running in Naples? And I realize I totally remember that they already do their elections. Their elections are already over. They do them something in January or something like that. And they're already over. And now that that's happened and their elections are done, there is nobody. They don't do it. So I don't understand why they. don't do the elections on the same as, say, Benita Springs or Cape Coral are also cities, but they do their elections differently. I was going to say, maybe you should choose a grassroots candidate. That's the question I'm asking. Two, three, nine. 479-5-9-2, when you go to the ballot box, do you think that somebody who has no political experience but has all the heart desire or work ethic is going to be able to do the job that they would get elected to if elected? It just makes a difference. And in that discussion, I'm being told now that Chris from Naples on a side note have some breaking news about Cars on 5th. What do you got for me, Chris? Can you hear me okay? Yeah, I can hear you. Go ahead, buddy. Okay, because I'm hands-free driving right now. Listen, I've logged to a local car club here in the Naples area, and we were notified by email on Friday that they have decided on a location in Collier County. So that's where they're going to do it. I don't have any specifics on it. but they're going to start registering cars in September. So we've got about three weeks. But you don't know where, but you don't know where, but you think it's going to be in Carrier County. That's just what you heard from the Car Club.

word Bayshore was in there. I know there's a Bayshore and Lee, but I don't think it's up there. I think it's the one down here. Ooh, all right, so we don't know yet. We just don't know yet. All right. I appreciate your phone call. Thanks for calling. Let me ask you, Chris, do you like a grassroots candidate when you go to the ballot box, or do you like an experienced politician when you go to the ballot box? Let me tell you something. I want another Trump when I go to the ballot box. And that's what you're talking about, grassroots. Right. He wasn't a, it was not a career politician. I've had it with those. They're done. And I worked for 40 years in Washington, D.C. So I'm retired down here now. I was a broadcaster in D.C. for 40 years. Where did you, where did you work at in D.C.? I was radio station disc jockey at WMZQ, Extra 104. Oh, you ready to, you worked for 98 WMZQ, I'm ZQ in my shirt? Yep. Do you remember the shirts? Was it during that era? I don't know if it was that we had those shirts. I was in the early 80s. One of my listeners. Do you remember Jerry Pat? Hold on, hold on. You are coming into my world. This is wildly strange. Do you know a guy named Jerry Paxson? I do. That's my stepdad. He passed away, but that was my stepdad. We lived in, I grew up right there in that state, in Fairfax, and we spent three years there and going to the Manassas Fair and going to the Bull Run Jamboree and all the country concerts there. Yeah, that was absolutely. Jerry Paxson was my dad. One of my listeners during the early 80s was President Reagan. I love that. That is so great. We called in and made a request for Mrs. Reagan. How about that? Amarillo by morning. That is a story to tell right there when it comes to radio, man. And that is, it's been great having you, man. Thank you so much for calling in, man. It's great when you meet somebody that will cross over into a path that was there at the same time. My stepdad was there. That was a great station. I mean, there were some great things during the MZQ errors, man. It does like sports now, does it not? They have sports, but it's still country. It's a country station. All right. All right. I appreciate you. It's still country. I like that. And then it kicks 106 and all that in D.C. That was crazy. I appreciate you, buddy. Make sure you check out Trump Country if you get a chance right here, our own sister station in Southwest Florida. I know you've checked it out as a country lover and a Trump lover. That station's meant for you, my friend. All right. Okay. All right. There we go, man. You got to love that guy, man. That was cool. That was... that was just weird for me like it really was like i rarely run into people that remember my stepdad even though he was a massive country radio personality during the era like it was late 70s early 80s that he was the biggest thing in the world and i got to be a kid and it's where i got the bug that's where this all came from where i

Got my roots of being on a microphone and talking to people. Look at you and learn a little bit. My grassroots from radio in the middle of this grassroots conversation for campaigns. You know, I really asked the question because they're, you know, like this guy called, when he just called, Chris from Naples just told us, you know, he's looking for another Trump. And Trump is that person. And when I ran, you know, I ran for school board. And what I ran for, Rob, is I ran, I'm a parent. Not a politician. And I wanted people to know that. Now understand now that looking back, you become one the second you're elected. You're a politician. So you can say you're a parent, not a politician, but you're about to be one if you're elected. All right? You're going to become a politician. That's just a fact. I mean, it truly is. There's a difference from when a candidate. comes from a grassroots or a candidate who has never worked in politics decides to enter the race. I would say that that's not necessarily a politician or career politician. Whereas then you have serial candidates like ones that are running in the CD-19 race who have lost over and over and over again. I would consider those people politicians. Right. And you have multiple people who have never ran before also in that race. So you have a few grassroots and that's why I ask you could be. and I honestly believe this, you could be looking at the era of the grassroots candidate. Now, just because your grassroots doesn't mean that you don't have a campaign fund. Like, you can be a first-time runner and still have a great campaign fund, a great message, and be out there doing the politic thing. If you're grassroots, you're never done it before. You've never done it before. You stepped into it. Some people, like Amanda Cogran, Elisa King, who's running in Cape Coral and Amanda for Cape Coral, they've ran a race before and didn't win and they're out there doing it again. And by the way, that's exactly what Jesse Perdone of Benita told me. He goes, if you run again, you'll win. I already did. I ran and I won big time as being the host of Daybreak right here on 92-5 Fox News. It's way better than any political job I could ever. ever run for and I just get to talk about them. They don't get to talk about me. I'm good with it. I like it that way. I think it's better that way. But listen, when it comes to grassroots candidates, I think voters say they want someone real, someone that speaks to them, someone that understands them, the resident. If you're talking about a city election or a county or a state or even a national election, I think everybody wants somebody who's going to represent how they feel and what they believe in. Is that being overshadowed by the old guard, Rob? Yeah, because money and visibility still dominate short primaries more so than resumes. And if we're going to talk District 22, that mix of voters may actually reward the candidate who looks strongest moving into the general election, but may not actually be the purest conservative. So I think that those are a couple of dynamics that we need to consider. You know, there's a guy named David Burke that is running in District 20. A Marine, former West Palm Beach gang detective, a small business owner, married with a young son. He's run as a Republican in that new congressional district number 22, which, by the way, stretches the entire length of the state. And it hasn't even touched the amount of money that's been spent in the 19th district, which is what we're here. And when you speak about the Southern one, the 22 district, these candidates had very little time to prepare.

9:25

They had very little time to kick off their campaign. And this might be the one race, what I would say out of all of them, that's a complete coin toss. I don't believe anybody has the upper hand in that race. Not one person has the upper hand. If they pulled that race, it would be exactly equal. I don't think anybody has come out as the frontrunner at all. Somebody may have put out more mailers or more commercials, but I don't think anybody is the frontrunner. Well, the mood might be different in West Palm Beach, right? We are in the Fort Myers-Naples media market. District 22 is just a small portion of our region, right? Just the southern parts of Collier County, East Naples, Marco Island. I know, but yeah, and I guess Henry falls in here, but that Henry does hear us, but that's a smaller population, less influential county than, say, Collier or Palm Beach County, for example. Sheriff Whitten, that is Rob, not me. Just so you know, Rob Stevens said that, not me, Sheriff Whitten. All right, go ahead. I'm just kidding. I agree with you 100%, bro. It's a big market. We just don't know. We're not in West. Palm Beach. We don't know what the temperature is over there. Right. What's the temperature of a delicious burrito? 165 degrees. What's the cost of a delicious burrito? Well, these days, 20 bucks. There you go. That's the big debate. We'll discuss it next on daybreak at 925. Fox News.com. Try as they may. You. have the ultimate say. Florida's primary election happens August 18th. Get coverage the right way on 92-5 Fox News.

11:06

Welcome back to daybreak here at 925 Fox News right all along. I am your host, Jason Jay Jones, along with Rob Stevens on this amazing Monday morning. Getting started on this day is wonderful as we get into the third hour. We're talking a little bit about burritos and what a burrito should cost. And you know what? Here's the deal. It started with a turning point USA spokesperson that shared a college student's complaint that a basic burrito... Now cost $20. On one side, you have a hard stop and people stop whining, cook at home, live on ramen. And you know what? This influencer says the quiet stuff out. Listen to this guy. A burrito shouldn't cost $20. It doesn't. The average Chipotle burrito is $10.70. The median burrito price is $13.58 and a lot of young Americans get delivery, so they're seeing $20 burritos. If that's too high for them, they can stop being lazy and make a high quality burrito at home for 70% cheaper. There you go. Well, I would just say just stop ordering it for delivery. You know, the fight quickly turned into a bigger argument about whether or not the party still understands how expensive basic life feels than a lot of people under 40. You know, I don't know. The burrito ain't the point. The point is whether the party still has that language to speak. And are they able to speak to the people that feel like they can't afford everything and everything is still hard? It's harder to get ahead than it was for their parents. I think that's how you've got to do. You've got to reach that younger voter. And the $20 burrito is the conversation to where you've got so many people out there talking about it, even Fox News. Is it? crazy that a burrito is $20, illustrating an affordability crisis, or is Gen Z perhaps not prioritizing things in their spending the way they should? Yeah, how many of those people complaining about capitalism buy $7 coffees at some of the, you know, I mean, at the end of the day, some of the, that our parents didn't have that problem because they used the coffee pot sitting on the counter. I mean, I'm not telling you that you've got to live like the pioneer days, like Little House on the Prairie, but you can prioritize what you spend your money on. Right. You can prioritize what you spend your money on. And if a burrito that's $20 is too much, then you can't go to Chipotle. It's just the way it is. And most college kids aren't buying $20 meals anyway. But let me tell you. That is the message. We are not speaking to. We are not able to do that message. We cannot get that message across as conservatives. We're having a hard time getting that message across. We don't have an answer to free grocery stores and free rent. Oh my goodness, socialism and communism is going to kill this country. We don't have an answer to that. But at the same time, I can experience it myself. Like we went out to two meals yesterday, right? For Sunday, we always do like a double dine out for breakfast and lunch and then we do something for, you know, we make dinner right at home. And the first one was, I think, 70 bucks and it was trash. And the second one was like 40 bucks and it was trash.

14:11

And so we're sitting here looking at it like the only good food that we can get that's quality right now for a good price to the ones that we cook at home. Like it truly is, I don't want to sound frugal. Like we're going to cook at home because it's the cost of money. I don't want to be that dad. But I also don't like the fact that I paid $5 for one pancake yesterday. Well, I'll give you an example. Five dollars for one pancake. Give you an example. What's the cost of goods sold on one pancake? Three cents. Right. You're charging me five bills. So I'll give you an example. So I went and actually just got a smorgas board of McDonald's breakfast for my family yesterday morning. Spent about now, it was like $30, $35 to get, you know. Two adults in a five-year-old. Yeah, just to get, you know, some sandwiches and a couple plates of hot cakes and that sort of thing. But the funny thing is they had this new sandwich, this brown honey butter, bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I'm like, you know what, I'll try that. So that was just like a, oh, maybe this is above and beyond, but I'll try. I open the sandwich up when I get home. There's no egg on it. It's just cheese, bacon, and whatever sauce they used. And I'm like, this was like an $8 sandwich. But you're not going back. No. You're not going to go back. You eat it. The time I threw it away because I'm just like, why do I just want a biscuit? So, you know, when it comes to the $20 burrito debate, let me just say. Look, man, the only thing that's really come down is the eggs in my own, I'm not in opinion. Like, everything else is kind of selling out. Maybe not for McDonald's since you forgot to put it on my sandwich. They were like, we got to cut this guy's egg out. We need to save 30 cents today. You know. I think we are missing the message of affordability. I don't think we have an answer to affordability. When you ask what the answer is affordability, a lot of people go with Trump accounts. That's cool. It speaks to it. But it's not resonating the way socialism and communism is with the young Democrats, which I can't believe I'm even saying. Which is why the conservatives sound incredibly out of touch right now. And I don't think they realize the political danger of that. I think they better understand that the $20 burrito is. was real. The $15 value meal at a fast food restaurant is real. It was $3 when I first remember that like $3 to $5 when it first came out. Yeah, I think when I got my first driver's license and I went to a fast food restaurant. A value meal was like $5.50 or something. And that's you supersized it. But now you go up there and they're like trying to tell you that a $9 value meal is a good deal. And a $5 pancake is a good deal. And a dry-ass, cold-ass square burger is a good. good deal. There's so many ways I can point out the fact that they're not giving you quality for your action, but more importantly, for this particular message in this $20 burrito debate, we're missing it, man. We are. The point is whether the party still has that language that speaks to the people that feel differently than they did when their parents were growing up. But at the same time, like the guy on Fox News says, hey, man, make a pot of coffee.

17:12

But if we treat every price complaint as a crisis, no wonder people are drifting towards the socialist solution. So real fixes here like energy abundance, regulatory relief, wage growth, through growth, all get drowned out when the conversation stays at the burrito level. We need to go beyond the burrito and we need to unpack this deeper as a party if we want to even have a chance at doing anything positive in November. It might even be too late. The burrito is just... Just the flag. Just the flag. And it is a $20 burrito. Wait. That says $20? Yeah. $20 for a burrito? Are you people serious? It's beans and rice. Sir, your phone costs like $2,000. I think you can survive the burrito. That is completely different! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. You're right. It needs to go beyond the burrito. When our phones cost $3,000, a gallon of gas is $4. When everything else around you is going up, the cost of housing is through the roof, you're right. It's got to go beyond the burrito. And I certainly hope that we do that. Now, we can't dismiss the complaint entirely because that's bad politics. But if we elevate the burrito into the party's central grievance, that's bad for economics. Right. So give away free burritos is what we're supposed to do? No, that's not. I'm not getting the message. Stop ordering it through DoorDash. Put pressure on the system. Respond with your wallet. The 5 at 835 is up next. So free burritos, that's not going to happen. Carver is not going to give those away? No, I don't think so. Too bad. I do like a good burrito. 92.5, Fox News. I believe it's. 92-5 Fox News is exercising our right to free speech. Honestly, it's really the only thing we exercise these days. This is Daybreak on 92-5 Fox News. I'm your host, Jason Jay Jones, along with Rob Stevens. Listen, how about five voices, five stories, one fast-paced news countdown. The 5 at 835 is presented by Southwest Florida, oral and facial surgery, specializing in excellent care.

I mean, I'm focused on winning the midterms. I'm running for Congress right now. Well, I haven't ruled out the possibility, and I'm very humbled to the tremendous amount of support out there. I think that we have a responsibility to remain focused on the midterms and not on our individual. aspirations are planned. Oh, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is running for president. That is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying that, you know, hey, I'm not ruling it out. She's 100% running. Let me tell you the unintended consequence of that clip right there. The squad is winning. The communist socialism is winning over Democrats. The fact that the... Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is able to stand up and say, I'm going to run for president. And she's leading polling among Democrats. She's leading polling among Democrats. She has more clips of her babbling than any. I can find 50, 60 clips of her babbling saying things. I've got video of her being hammered in places. Like she is not the good look, but this is who the Democrats. are backing. This is who they love. That's because establishment Democrats have no backbone. They're afraid to offend and they've embraced extremism ever since Barack Obama in 2008. And now it's finally hit him in the face. What have we done? Moderate Democrats, you look weak. Number four. Well, unfortunately, we don't seem to have too many of those left in the Democrat Party. We have literal self-proclaimed communists who are winning elections and who are claiming to be the new leadership of the Democrat Party. I think the vast majority of Americans understand the dangers of communism. Just look at countries all over this world as an example. Cuba right now is a country that is about to be a failed state because of the communist policies of the past several decades. Communism. should never be allowed to lead this country. And the president obviously is strictly opposed to it and all the dangers that it reaps. We've seen it happen across the world. Right. A report is Karoline Leavitt. She's at a presser, and the reporter asks about, are you guys going to work with the leftist, center, Democrats? You think that's what you want to do, Karoline Leavitt? And then she basically looked at them and wait, wait, wait, you got a picture of one of those? Who? Who? Who? That's what it is. Who? Who? Work with who? I mean, John Fetterman? Everyone else is going to fall in line with the squad, and it should be the scariest time we've ever been in this country. But there's hope. There's one. There's one we could lean on who seems to be against socialism. Number three. We have a president now who has little to no appreciation of history. And we've seen him over and over again when he gets it wrong and then uses it for his own purposes. And now we have a group of people, and you're asking Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez this morning, whether she's going to run for president. A woman who has taken socialist positions over and over again. If she had an appreciation of history, she would know that socialism has nothing to do with democracy.

22:58

And socialism, everywhere it's been tried around the world, has failed in two fundamental ways. It has destroyed economic hope, John, and it has also destroyed democratic aspirations. And that's what the DSA stands for. And Scott laid out those points very, very well. Chris Christie? Is being anti-democrat? I mean, granted, he started it by bashing Trump real quick. He had to before he went out and was anti against the party. He had to bash Trump real quick before he went out there and spoke against socialism. See, there's a theme going on. Rob, do you think my PSA is working as we get closer to the primaries? Is my PSA working here? Appears to be hitting some ears. This is... When you know the Democrats have lost their mind and you should be fearful, when you have Chris Christie, who has never been a solid Republican, by the way. Is saying something that's very Republican, saying something that's very Republican. Is it a bellwether for all moderate Democrats? I don't think so. But I do think that there is a rhythm that's happening a little bit more, and it could turn into that. Number two. So you got the Supreme Court doing its thing. Then this president. is trying to push this Save Act, which basically would require that for people to register to vote, you're going to have to have proof of who you are through a passport, which a lot of Americans don't have, or a birth certificate. Same point, obstacles, to make it difficult for you to register to vote. If you don't have a birth certificate that says you were born in the United States, please shoot me a text message. I'm going to send an ICE agent to your house. Those are the only people that don't have birth certificates. This is the United States. Anybody can get a birth certificate. If you were born in the birth... If you were born here, you can get one, I promise. Everybody in the world. And a lot of places give them to you for free. Now, you can't get it mailed for free, but a lot of people will print you on. Like, you show up that it's you. They'll give it to you. I don't think it's that way here in Florida, but nonetheless, listen. If you don't have a form of ID, if you don't have a... Now, passports I get. Not everybody gets a passport. I mean, I just got mine like a year ago, right? I mean, just like a year ago. But everybody's got an ID. And their argument for the SAVE Act is so bad that... Someone should point it out. You realize that you're wildly dumb, right? You need an ID for everything. You're definitely going to need an ID to vote, and everyone should have to have one to vote. You need an ID to get on a plane. I mean, I don't want to go back. You need an ID to get groceries at Zohran Mamdani's grocery stores. Oh, there you go. You said it not me, man. Look, when you got Kamala Harris out there right now, going out there to speak against the SAVE Act and what we got a theme going on here, don't we?

25:54

Number one. Oh, earlier this week, I made the announcement. I'm transgender. I'm a woman. I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purposes of basketball, professional basketball. So I'll be declaring for the WMBA draft in 2027 as well. I mean, I think I'd be unstoppable. You know, but I'm a team first guy. You know, I'm a past first kind of player. I do the little things. You know, I led my team in all five major stat categories at Iowa State University. So I do a little bit of every, I'll do whatever the coach needs me to do. I'll do whatever the girls need me to do. Whatever the girls need me to do. What is that? That's former NBA player, Minnesota State candidate Royce White announcing he's declared for the 2007 NBA draft. WNBA draft, sorry, saying that he identifies as a woman. This is because they now are allowing a transgender player to play in the WNBA, and everyone is speaking out against it. And now he's not alone. I could probably field a team right now just based on the NBA. NBA players to say they're going to jump into the WNBA draft and identify as a woman. I 100% for it. I even heard one guy say he was going to build a team. It was Buck. Buck said it. Clay and Buck said it. He said he was going to be all transgender men and he was going to win the WNBA championship. They'd be the greatest or transgender women, whatever, would be the greatest championship team ever to roll through the WNBA. Yeah, this might be one of the greatest trolls we've heard this year. But the idea here is one of his things that he had said that wasn't in your clip was that once he enters the draft. If he doesn't get drafted, he's actually going to sue the league for discrimination, saying that they discriminated against him as a transgender person. So they're in a... I was going to say bleep sandwich right now that they have to maneuver. I'm glad you didn't say that. I'm glad you didn't say that. The five at 835. You know what's being said out loud and proud? And that is that we want someone who believes in Southwest Florida, pick the guy who's been here. You know, we're talking about the fact that. Jim Swartzel for Congress has been given not one, but two recent endorsements. And how does that endorsement lie for you? Well, Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan have both endorsed Jim Swartzel for Congress when you've got the majority leader in Jim Jordan lining up with you behind Southwest Florida a businessman who's been running hard against carbon baggers. They're not picking the flashiest name or the biggest sell funder out of the state. They're picking the guy who's been here.

28:40

who's done great things for the... Party, who is a part of 92-5 Fox News and brings you conservative talk. This guy brought you this station. He's here. He brought you this. I mean, that's a fact. He's my boss. I'll go ahead and let that be known. But I think these endorsements speak volumes, volumes to him and the fact that they've jumped out. These are the only two endorsements of any candidate in CD. I mean, there's some small-time ones, but these are the two biggest ones. Major endorsements that we've seen in the race, yes. But again, does that endorsement hold much weight? in this district in Southwest Florida where our voters are very tuned in to the issues and researching candidates showing up at events, shaking hands, asking questions. An endorsement's great if it helps push you across the finish line, but I think Southwest Floridians can see the writing on the wall. And that writing on the wall is, it says Rob's phone number, so if you want to go, no, I'm just kidding. You know, that writing on the wall that you speak of is true. It's there. It's showing. you where we're at when it comes to the congressional race. But at the same time, I think a voter here, the old guard, they're using that to their advantage. They're going to look at that and be like, oh, that's what I needed. These are the same people that will pick somebody just because they're appointed. There's a difference between appointed and endorsed. Just so you know, big difference. Yeah, an appointment is not an endorsement. Thank you, I needed that. I forgot that part. He said the quiet part out loud. 92-5 Fox News. Every election cycle has its big issues, and then there's the battle over where to put an RV resort. We'll try to cover it all. 92-5 Fox News. Right. All along.

30:35

Welcome back to daybreak here on 925 Fox News, right all along. You know, James Fishback, the gubernatorial candidate, held a press conference and claimed that whistleblower told his campaign that Donald's and Representative Byron Donalds's and Representative Cory Mills were under a federal sex trafficking probe involving paid sexual acts in a Maryland resort in 2024. A Department of Justice responded the next day, falsely accusing someone of being under investigation as a dangerous form of weaponized. The claim is not true. Congressman Byron Donalds's is not under investigation, which, by the way, is rare when you have the DOJ actually commenting on something. The DOJ officially separately said that any evolving mills and is finance related, not sexual. Donald's campaign called the allegations completely false. And what is this deal? Well, I'm going to tell you what it is here. When you're getting crushed in the polls, like crushed in the polls just days away, and the front... runner has Trump's endorsement and a huge lead. The only thing you got left is the nuclear option. You went for something very radical. You throw the most toxic allegation you could throw and just hope it carries enough doubt to try to help you in the final stretch. It's exactly what it was. It was a fail. You've now been pointed out that not only you will lie or a cheat, James Fishback is a Catfish or maybe a mullet. That's what the fish stands for, aka A bottom feeder, a bottom feeding fish. That's what he is. He is looking for a climb. Anybody that puts out false claims during a campaign as a candidate could never be trusted if elected, period. And James Fishback should never be trusted. period for any job at all inside the conservative party. There's also another one that's spreading a lot of lies. And that's Catalina Loth. And she's doing the same thing. Spreading a lot of lies through text message and mailers saying that there was some kind of vaccine mandate inside this building when there never was. And I've spoke, I just got done speaking to somebody at Brinkgo to be here like 18 years who told me they didn't have a vaccine mandate. So it's real easy to say you were here for COVID. That's my point being. So just know. Watch the rhetoric. Watch what goes on. And Byron Donalds's has been cleared of any allegations that Catfishback said. And that's all I could say. And that's it. Listen, we need your help, and we need it as quickly as possible. Southwest Florida, we're doing the largest, largest ever. 92-5 Fox News field of flags. Never. Forget. Never ever forget the field of flags. It is coming very quickly. It's going to come so fast. And I, for one, am so looking forward to it. I am. It was my first event joining 92-5 Fox News here. And I was able to go out and shake hands and meet listeners. So I'm looking forward to meeting everybody just one more time. John Naples, you got 30? You got about a minute. Go ahead, John. What are you saying? I'll tell you, this is the last straw from this. slimy politician that should never be a politician. Between doing this, which is low ball as they go, and then storming the Republican monthly meeting at the Naples Convention. And it was the Collier County. It was a Collier County thing that was staged. This guy is a slime ball. Absolutely. He represents everything that people think about politicians. And at the end of the day, some of his ideas are decent. Why crash and burn? Why crash and burn? I don't get it. But that's because they weren't his ideas. They were talking points given to him, and he memorized them and said them well. He had no idea how to execute him. And he could be a rhino. And it looks like he's working for somebody else. I don't trust the guy. You said it best. John, thank you so much for being on the show. It's been great having you today. He does. You know, that's the deal. It's all locked up. I don't know. There we go. There we go. All right. So, John brings up the point. Like, this is the last draw for this guy, but that's what's the hope. That's why he pulled the nuclear option so he would have some kind of talking point about him. And when it's got Byron's name involved, he knows he'll get the talking point. That's why he shows up at these events. He's attaching himself to Byron. He's attaching himself to Byron so that he can get some kind of notoriety. It is the man that is desperately. losing trying to reach first place and that's never happened i want to thank everybody for tuning in today susan franz will join us tomorrow on the show that'll be good uh and so much more she's running for house district number 78 here in florida you guys have a a great day we'll see you tomorrow on behalf of roger and robin myself you stay safe southwest florida see you see ya see ya
