Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy touted the hiring of more than 2,000 new air traffic controllers after the Trump administration's gamer recruitment push. Yes, gamers. They called the effort a game changer. that met 94% of the hiring goal in the fastest time ever, while advancing another 2,000 plus candidates to the academy quicker than any previous class. Yes, they went after gamers and they got them. They may be saying to yourself, I can't have heard anything about this. Well, because they can't bitch about it. I mean, do you not know that? That's the reason. The reason you're not hearing anything about it is because they can't bitch about it. It's as simple as that. And if you can't complain about, why would you do it? They went after gamers and got them. These are high-paying jobs. Good for them. I know a guy who was in this mix. Number six. Governor Alack, national championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville continues. to slam Dr. Anthony Fauci saying that Dr. Anthony Fauci does not have a state pardon. That's a quote. It could face lawsuits from Alabamians who lost loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic arguing he should pay the price of having to go into a courtroom day in and day out. After Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall indicated, there's a good opportunity for these cases here in the state, which is absolutely true. He does not have a pardon inside the state. And he should absolutely have to answer for the stuff that he has done. He is the science after all. And it is time for the science to answer some actual questions. Plead the fifth. I plead the fifth. I plead the fifth. Okay. Go for it. Number five. United States Senator Katie Britt is among 12 Republican senators who are pushing for the Keep Our Communities Safe Act to close a legal loophole. that was spurned up or that got spun up by a Supreme Court decision that forces the release of certain types of illegal aliens after six months when no country will take them back. Okay, so they are calling for this in order to get these illegal aliens out of this country. And...

For some reason, there's a legal loophole that says if no other country will take that, we just have to let them back onto the streets. That is insane. Okay? That is absolutely insane. The Keep Our Community Safe Act needs to pass, and we'll see if they're able to get this thing done. For some reason, Democrats refused to want to tackle illegal immigration. They form it, I guess. Number four. Alabama Senate Minority Leader Bobby Singleton was elected chairman of the Alabama Democrat Party in a decisive vote. It wasn't even close. 72 to 27 after a campaign to improve organization, fundraising, and support for candidates pushing out. Randy Kelly. Randy Kelly was the guy who was running the show for Democrats recently, and it hasn't been great. Let's just put it that way. But yeah, it looks like they have a leadership there that they want, guys like Anthony Daniels, the House Minority Leader that nominated Singleton and called for Democrats to unify after the vote. We'll see if they're going to be able to actually do that. Their goal, of course, is to win elections. He's been in the Senate since 2005. He is a leader there. It will be very interesting to see how this shakes out. Number three. Governor elect, national championship winning head coach. United States Senator. Tommy Tuberville told the Business Council of Alabama that we have to help the taxpayers. That's a quote, by pairing economic growth and data centers with an aggressive attack on waste, fraud, and abuse in the state of Alabama, including, you ready for this? Using AI to audit programs so the state can eventually reduce income and property taxes. Yep, yep. He wants to use AI, which is going to upset a lot of people. I don't know why, but they want to use AI to look at these things and see if they can find waste, fraud, and abuse. If they can, they're going to spin it out, get rid of it, and try to lower the tax burden. That last part's going to be the hardest one.

Number two. President Donald Trump says, according to Axios, that the United States is low-key in it. I don't even know what that means. I don't know what that means. The United States is low-keyed it in semi-negotiating. I don't know if this is like some millennial talk or something. Maybe something Barron told him, hey, we're low-key in it. I don't know. But they're only semi-negotiating with Iran, while watching its huge inflation and economic distress under the naval blockade unfold. Tehran has issued some new demands, including ending the war, lifting the blockade, and full compensation. And I don't think that is going to happen. So that seems like a non-starter. And they say they'll be doing that before reopening the straight of Hormuz. The Houthis are continuing to attack Yemen and Saudi Arabia, which I'm sure is going to work out very well for them. No. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. Governor-elect, National Championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, told local leaders that they could, quote, pay teachers more, pay law enforcement more by welcoming data centers that generate tax revenue. Well, media outlets continue to suggest that rural Alabama voters are being slapped in the face. by proposed massive projects. Okay? I don't understand this. I really don't. Hey, there's a massive product here. How dare you? But Summerville continues to stand firm and say, no, these are good things. And what we're doing is, it's just absolutely hysterical nonsense that is not based in reality. And I don't think that they view these things as these projects as massive slaps in the face, but that is the story that's being told. And they're going to continue pushing this. Again, this is a moral panic for absolutely no reason. But there it is. There it is right there. You want to pay teachers more? And I got a story out of, what is it, Ellentown?
