Heir to the Chief: Trump Hints at Vance in '28

Sources cite President Trump recently telling donors in a private meeting, we need to elect JD in reference to Vice President JD Vance in 2028. GOP strategist Melinda Preston says JD Vance may or may not be the front runner. Marco Rubio, I think he's been a fantastic job. I love the way he fights back. I do like JD Vance as well. You've got Ron DeSantis. People are even talking about Donald Trump Jr. There's a lot of names going around. It's going to be fun to watch. There's also the possibility of a JD Vance Marco Rubio ticket, which Trump has said would be unstoppable. Experts don't expect Trump to publicly endorse anyone until much closer to the 2028 election.
