No. Did you bring any information? I got a beer list. Tony brought the most important thing with him. What's on your beer list? Well, I'm not going to go through all of them because we've got close to 60 beers this year. Are you serious? Yep, we got quite a few German import beers. Yeah. Such as Andex and Ainger, Augustiner, Palloner, Bufroy. Now, are you like, do you drink? Do you are a beer drinker? Just a little bit, yeah. Yeah? So are you like a beer aficionado? I am not a beer aficionado, but I can't tell you what is good and what you would like to. All right. So you go into the grounds of the German-American Festival, which is the 28th through the 30th of August. All right. You're on the grounds, and you've got a couple of friends with you. And they have no idea about beer. What's the beer you recommend? Well, I am a wheat beer drinker, so I like the Hefe Weizen. Okay. What does that stand? What does that mean? Hefe is you. Yeast. Okay. So the wheat beer with the heavier wheat content. Okay. Does that take different, taste different than, because I don't drink beer. Does that taste different than American beers? It is a little bit more on the milder side. It's a heavier beer, but taste-wise, it's a little bit milder. It's not as bitter. Okay. Now, is that something you would normally...

grabbing a bottle or a can or right out of the Stein. It is the best on tap if you can get it, but usually comes in a bottle. Okay. Now all of those beers that you mentioned, are they all going to be on tap? No, most of them are going to be in bottles or cans, but we do have some tap beers available like the Palloner and Beer Works is also going to have some beer. All right, excellent. So you've got a lot of beer, as Pete Peterson would say, beer, lots and lots of beer. All right, but the festival is more than that, right? Oh, yeah, much more. We've got all sorts of great food and entertainment and music and... A Kinderplatz, a place for the kids. Kinderplatz means a children's place. Children's place, okay. Sometimes, usually what happens when your wife comes in, Krista Lutmann, she throws all the German phrases at me that she can. All right? And like she knows how to pronounce, what's the thing where you hold the Stein out? Steinstemmen. Steinstemon? Okay, I mispronounced it earlier then. So the Steinstemon and the rock, the timber tossing or whatever it is. Stein-stosen. The Stein-stoshin. Does everything have stone in it? No, not really. But the best comes in the Stein. Yes, we're always looking for sponsorships and for volunteers. On Thursday before the festival, at 8 o'clock in the morning, we're going to have potato peeling for our homemade potato salad. I know Michelle is here, too, but she's not going to be on Mike. She's holding her thumb up. I'm assuming that she takes it. All right, she does that every year. The opening ceremony on the main stage will be Friday. It gets started at 6 o'clock Friday night, the Alex Mikesner band out of New Brunfels, Texas. There'll be an opening ceremony at 8. The Wine Garden will be open from 6 to midnight. They'll have music. Man, you've got a lot of music, don't you? Lots of music. Different bands throughout the weekend. Different dance troops throughout the weekend. Now, I know that you always are involved in the fish fries that they do on Good Friday. Correct. Did you ever do the dance stuff? Like as a kid or anything? Not the Bavarian style dancing. No, I did not. No, just normal like jazz hands dancing. You do the funky chicken and the frug and mashed potatoes. Okas and waltas and tangos, that's about it.

Now, do they have special parking this year? And are they taking any special precautions? Usually they're very, very safe. But everybody's antenna is up this year. Well, we've got about 70 acres of parking available. And they're all well lit and all taken care of as much as possible. So you can do that. And they always have shuttles. All right. There's always shuttles. And you can get all of this information, like I say, up on the website. German American Festival. They've also got a Facebook page, I'm sure. The, what is the, I don't even know how to say it, the Maskrukshtemen. Maskhrmengen, that's the one where you hold out the full stein of beer. Oh, the full Stein of beer. Oh, yes, definitely. All right. And then the Stein Tassen, the Swiss Steintasen is the stone throwing. Right. The Hummel lookalike is back. And this one just amazes me. I don't think you do this, do you? The GAF beer mile? That one I do not do. Because you drink a beer, you run a quarter of a mile, you drink a beer, you run a quarter of a mile, you drink a beer, you run a quarter of a mile. Four beers, one mile. Yeah, Earl's like, what the hell? Yeah. Have you ever done that? Not unless I had to. If the bars were a quarter mile apart. So you've got music, you got food, you got drinks, all kinds of special activities. All the tickets are online. You can actually this year, and I don't know if this is new or not, I guess I never noticed it before. A VIP ticket? Yes, we have a VIP area this year for the last few years. It starts off on Thursday. Ah. It's an early taste of the festival. Okay. So this is a separately ticketed event. It's 200 bucks. You get the whole weekend, though. Okay. You get VIP access into an exclusive tent that's right by the main stage for all that stuff. You get a VIP access that's validated. Access to the authentic German bar. Exclusive food and drink package. with five food items and five beers or wine pours, live German all weekend music festival. Man, oh, this makes it worth it. Access, you know where I'm going, don't you, Michelle. Access to the luxury Lews. For those of you in Bono, Lou is bathroom. So you get a luxury bathroom. It's clean. It's attended. It's flushable. We also have one more new event that we have coming up this year. It's also going to be a specially ticketed event. We have a bourbon bar and cigar bar. Oh, really? That is new. That'll be nice. You can come down and sample some nice bourbons. Now, do the Germans make a bourbon? They don't make a bourbon, but a lot of them like it. Yeah.

It's becoming bigger and bigger in Germany. Oh, I'll tell you what. Cigars and bourbon are going to be a real draw. Tickets are available and all the information is online.
