I'm going to hit it sometime this weekend because I want to try all of the things and the food selections have grown and grown magnificently. And there is a $5 value menu if you didn't know. This is, this is, let me give you all the things you can get for five bucks. Now, I know what you're saying. Five dollars does not sound like a, like a value. I mean, that's a pulp fiction routine. We had oil down to less than two in many places like Iowa. Oil was down to gasoline was down at numbers that people hadn't seen in years. $1.85, $1.95 cents. I was in Iowa at a stop. 195, another one, 185 a gallon. And we'll see those days pretty soon again, based on everything I see, as soon as the war ends. And I think it's going to end pretty soon. I don't think they can go much longer. Yeah, please. Now, first, my impression, pretty solid. Thank you. There is renewed talk that on the economic side of things,

This is going very bad for the Iranians. Now, it would have been far worse for the Iranians if we had never signed a memorandum of understanding, never given them any money, never allowed them any dollars. There is reports, there are reports, that we have allowed certain entities off of a terror watch list or off of a list of sanctions. including some airlines that have been involved in providing aid and other things to Hamas, which blows my mind. Why would we give up anything? We are still in the same place we have been, which is nothing's going to stop this regime until this regime has ended. You cannot trust them. All to talk about a deal is great and meaningless. But if this is what the president wants, I can't stop him. Can't stop him. What amazes me is that he thinks this marketing campaign is good. If the president wants to just string them out, he should say so. He says often, I'm in no rush. Don't say a deal as soon if you say you're in no rush. You have to say the following. Look, I'm not in any rush. They're the people who need this to happen. When they come, hat in hand, recognizing their defeat, I'm sure we're going to put something together that's just great. But they have to figure this out. The problem is they haven't hit rock bottom. And as everybody knows, you have to hit rock bottom in order to come back stronger and better and understanding that you've got a problem, but there is a way through it. Until they come to us with the full recognition that they have lost, that they can't defeat us, until they come forward with the full recognition that it can't go on like this and they're going to have to change their ways. Well, then we'll wait. They have to help themselves. We're not going to make it any easier on them. This is about them coming to the recognition that they have to change. I hope they do it. And maybe the people can help this regime figure it out. Now, if they get a little too nasty, well, we're going to have to handle things. But... They just want to sit there and slowly fail. One day they'll learn. That's how it has to get handled. Not we're going to have a deal soon, not bragging about what oil prices were a month ago. It's just, it's a bad approach. We wait, we don't agree. We could agree that Trump can wait them out. I'm talking about the PR approach. It's garbage. I don't know who is advising him. I don't know how he thinks this is the best. He looks weak. Man, that is not what... He doesn't want to hear that. He doesn't want to hear it, but it is true. When is anybody going to be honest with this man? And then there was this... I really not interested in doing any Elsaid stories. Just, can we have a day not talking about?

this guy who pals with the Islamists and the Marxists. You're taking endorsements from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and you're hanging on to Sam Hasan Piker. You're a problem. But a lot of people, I thought I mentioned this the other day, that Zohran Mamdani, the mayor of New York, got booed off the stage. He was in Staten Island, which is a very Republican stronghold, one of the boroughs of New York. It was the 43rd Patrol Borough National Night Out. So it was a police event. And he gets there. He lasts less than a minute. They're booing. They're jeering. They're chanting. Get out of here. They're chanting. Nobody wants you. And then he walked off the stage. The follow up to that story from the New York Post. is that Zohran Mamdani is very thin-skinned and hypersensitive. All commies are. All the Islamists are. All of these people. That's part of the plan. They're all weak. They're all losers. They're all thin-skinned. None of them could take anything. Anything. Not an ounce of criticism. And they want to be public officials. I'm not talking about they block somebody on social media. Totally understandable. People screaming curse words and who needs to read all that. But this is your constituency as an elected official. They're all wimps. That's part of being in that group of weirdos. None of them have any strength. None of them have any vigor. These are the kids who got picked last for kickball. So that is unsurprising. But I share the story about the booing because there's always a good reminder that, no, not everybody is down for this insanity. Lots of people want nothing to do with this.

They want these people out of their lives. Now, you got to go and vote. You got to go and vote. And you got to make that happen. Closer to home, I have not commented much on the story of the communist Jesse Brown on the city county council whose own Democratic socialists dropped him. I never understood why they dropped him. Did we ever get an answer to that, producer Carl? Why it is that they said they're not going to support him? Was he not coming enough? But I mean, they don't like him like everybody else doesn't like him. So they said it was repeated violations of the DSA's code of conduct. Was he not violent enough? uh harassment and violations of the organization's grievance process and doxing members of the local chapter and also he didn't pay dues um there's a there's a story in here and no one in indianapolis has thought to discuss this story yet so this i'm i've got the reporting Right? I've got the story from the Central Indiana DSA, communists. I've got the story from mirrorindy.org, etc. No one discusses that you can't organize the communists after a while. What happens is eventually you have to put them down. Because if you are teaching, promoting, preaching, permanent revolution, well, everybody's a revolutionary. They should be a revolutionary who pays their dues. What kind of thing is this? Also, you have dues? If I can't afford my dues, can I still be a part of the organization? I mean, from each according to their measure to each according to their need. You should pay my dues. I can't afford my dues. How dare you not let me in the club? This is the example of how impossible this system is and how it cannot work for any society. If a revolution is permanent, it is always happening and everybody sees themselves as the revolutionary. And how could anyone organize these radical people when their entire methodology is that they can't be organized? There comes a moment where it all falls away. It had no other meaning and purpose outside of that. And that's been clear, obviously, since the day that it was passed. You can go back and you can read the congressional debates. This is not something that's even seriously contested by anybody. The president is using his authority as commander-in-chief. to sign first an executive order using the new ruling the Supreme Court issued to expand the definitions of people who are ineligible for birthright citizenship. That includes, for example, alien enemies in the United States, members of foreign terrorist organizations, and large categories of people who lobby and act on behalf of foreign governments. And so with taking this action, it ensures that large numbers of people who wrongly would be getting birthright citizenship will no longer be eligible for those benefits. This goes along with Senator Jim Banks legislation about changing the very concepts of citizenship. Good. This is what we should be doing. People come and they come to the United States solely and exclusively to have a child so that child can have citizenship, and then they go back to their actual country. Now, the Constitution is not a suicide pact. We're not playing it this way, and we should rescind the citizenship of all of those who have been born here under that pretense. I'm ready to fight about this. The barbaricness. of allowing this to happen, of thinking that this is normal, the people who say it's no big deal, it's barbaric. They are, Gadsad would refer to it as suicidal empathy. Christopher Hitchens has discussed this when well explaining the issue with Islamists. That's not our job. That is a radical thing to do. Let's not do that. So I'm very happy that these conversations are coming up. This is where we should be. To be born in America is to be born in America, subject to the jurisdiction thereof, to be actual citizens. What the Supreme Court said is you don't have laws that make changes, so therefore if you're born here, you're born here. So now here come the laws. Well, it's racist and it's, and it's, what else would they call it? Isolationist. There's another word. It's alluding me right now. Xenophobic. They would probably say that. I don't care what they say at all. The Supreme Court made it clear. Change the laws. And that's what's happening. They'll get a vote, signed by the president, and done.

The idea that they make a decision, there's nothing you can do about it. How odd and peculiar. You know what you can't do anything about? The Second Amendment. That remains. Now, you actually could change the Second Amendment if you want. But the left never does that. They just try to invent all these kinds of rules to keep people from enjoying their Second Amendment rights. And while we're on this subject, To the people at Save Heritage, Indiana. Where's my apology? All I said was I was going to discuss how your lack of judgment led to absolute failure. Everybody associated with this mass deportation rally. Total disaster. The people at Save Heritage Indiana, the people from the political left who looked like fools. Should we discuss that liberal white women are a scourge? They are going to lead to the destruction of the nation faster than anybody. Liberal white women are ridiculous. And they were well in hand there in Fissures.

But the Save Heritage people who did a poor job marketing the event, poor job understanding how to present the event, they relocated the event, that's not necessarily their fault. They didn't know how to address a single person at the event. As I see it, because they didn't understand what it was that they were trying to get done. They're so busy being ideological. They had no concept of how to be able to present themselves to get the larger audience because they weren't interested in that. They were interested solely in saying, hey, look at us. We're putting an event. Love me, love me, love me. They were interested in their egos as organizers and not in the event and doing anything about the nation. Then they go after Senator Jim Banks. Because he won't record some video for them. Well, the board of this group, Safe Heritage, Indiana, which I have nothing to do with and want nothing to do with, says that their executive director, Daniel Pointer, His attacks on Jim Banks and Mike Braun, he should apologize. But because he is not, the board won't wait. So they apologize to Senator Banks and Governor Braun on behalf of Save Heritage, Indiana, regardless of whether Daniel ultimately decides to do so or not. The story over there at the indie star, Jacob Stewart reporting. They came at me for discussing both sides of this failing epically that I'm just a guy on talk radio. Where's my apology? Maybe if you would listen to me, even though I don't like you, even though I think you're wrong, even though I think your presentation is a bit maddening, and I do believe that you play in some very weird spots, you could have actually had a showing. You wouldn't have had to have moved locations. And if you did still have to move locations because there were threats against you, that would be part of the story now. You have been... sharing a story about what's going on on 65. Now there's this stuff going on because people are texting me. Carmel, 106th Meridian and further south. In about four minutes, you've got updates on both of those? Yes, I do. I'm looking at the Southbound 31 crash right now on camera. And it's right before Old Meridian Street and two left lanes are currently closed and traffic is stomped right now. And it stopped past Main Street in Carmel. So a multiple vehicle crash, as far as I can see here for at the moment, and it's especially dangerous, like the I-65 crash on the south side we've been covering. This is also in a construction zone. So it's going to exasperate the cleanup a little bit, and we will have this in detail coming up at 55. Yeah, I've got people on the roadway right now. Ambulances are on their way. It's been nonstop police cars. There's a story here. And we're going to be following this. Now, the other one you've been following, I mean, you're going to double it up, but I've got you here, if you don't mind. Is that on 65 where the other big story is? It's on 65 south side of Indy like you're coming into or leaving downtown. It's right now, we do have a little bit of improvement here. It's the crash occurred on northbound 65 after the Raymond Street entrance ramp. And all lanes remain closed, the southbound side. like you're coming away from downtown has reopened but there are a ton of emergency vehicles off to the right on the southbound side so it is going to be slow and it's going to continue to be jammed past washington street and that's going to back up even further As far as the northbound side, I see a semi that's possibly involved here at the moment, and traffic is not moving at all. And we are now stopped at 465, then slow to Southport Road. But again, Tony, this is in this, what I believe to be a very tiny construction zone that you're driving through. Only two lanes of traffic in both directions, the goal trying to expand to another lane. But I go through this off, and it never feels great.

the drive through here and for our commuters right now listening it feels even worse so compassion to them just please be patient and do the best you can so we've got two areas right now where everything is jammed up and matt's gonna get with you in just about 75 seconds uh we'll start talking about workarounds other things uh every employer uh everyone's gonna be late today just saying Big meeting or no, everyone's going to be late today. And that became a thing that Tony Katz will not climb a ladder. Let me be perfectly clear. I have no issue with climbing a ladder. But I'm not about to when I can hire professionals to do it better for whatever the purpose is. I have nothing to prove, everybody. I'm good. Do heights bother you? But yet it's become this rallying cry. I just, do heights bother you? What brought on the not climbing a ladder? You'd just rather hire someone? I mean, I agree with you. The conversation has been about whether or not he has grown tired of this war with Iran and he was told it would be done quickly and it's not done yet, although I still think we're in the world of quickly, thank you very much. I have a much different view on this than others, certainly the talking heads out there. And then there was the conversation about whether or not we're low on munitions and President Trump saying that story is absolutely not true. I've stated clearly that if we're low on weaponry, us, low on weaponry after four months, I'd fire every general. Retired generals, I would demote everybody. I once said I'd bust them down to corporal and someone was like, well, you can't actually do that. It would have to be second lieutenant. Fine. I'm trying to make a point and they're being so exact. They win. I mean, I get what they're saying. I appreciate the correction. It's a gross thought to think that we have any question about preparedness. I accept the fact that we have a very large military budget and I oppose all those people who want to cut it. They want weakness and the answer is no. But you can't have a large scale budget and then tell me you're not prepared for the long term of any battle. We used to be able to fight on two and a half fronts. Now we're basically one and a quarter fronts if that and now we have an ammunition problem. I want people fired. I actually want worse, but I may not get those things that I want. But the idea of a rift, Trump could be bothered by things. But I think we'd all be nuts if we didn't recognize that the military is in a far better place with recruitment, with attitude, with presentation, a recognition of standards, getting a culture back to the concepts of lethality. We're not here to mess around. We're not playing in the gray. This is what we do here. I think it's outrageously important.

I think it has been unbelievably successful. And Pete Hegseth has been outrageously successful in that. Keeping things about planning from being leaked, although we hear about this leak allegedly of what we were going to do to Iran that got them to say, oh, please don't do that. We'll come to the deal. There are only 33 ships going through this week, 50 last week. Talking about cargo ships, oil tankers. How do you get more movement? You do that through deal or you do that through force. It's one or the other. You want the lower oil prices. You're going to have to do something if you have made this all about the price of oil. Again, this would not have been my strategy. Then you have a series of attorneys general. looking to see where they can bring charges against Dr. Anthony Fauci. Now, I'd love to hear from Attorney General Keita on this. Follow the mathematics. The pardon that he received, and you know I am a believer that there's no way Joe Biden even knew what he was signing, I am a believer that they used the autopen, and absolutely those pardon should be challenged. I don't know what the result of that would be. But if you want me to believe that Joe Biden was in his right mind, cogent, cognizant, and sign these pardons, when we already know there's a question about whether that happened, and we know the autopen existed, and we know that people like Neeratandon and others were in utilization of it. You can't get me to believe that any of this is on the up and up. I just don't. But the pardon that Anthony Fauci got. This wide, wide birth of pardon that extends from January 2014 to January of 2025, a pardon. Well, that is for things on a federal level. It does not protect Anthony Fauci from state prosecution. And now we have states, the Florida Attorney General amongst others. West Virginia, as I said, Louisiana. looking at whether or not charges can be brought against Dr. Anthony Fauci for lying, for engaging in fraud, and for forcing states to engage in activities that were detrimental to the citizenry. There's a question about what it is you'd actually be suing for. What are the grounds? How does this work? And of course, it's different state by state. But the pardon does not cover. on the state level, which is why when they utilized Rico to go after President Trump in Georgia, there would have been no way for him to pardon himself. It's a state crime. It simply would not have worked. We're going to follow this and get the latest on it. But coming up... We're going to talk burritos. I am going to get into this burrito story, because I got to make sure I understand it properly. So producer Carl, you're going to have to, you're going to have to set me straight here on what is and what isn't this headline, how burritos are tearing apart the Republican Party. That's from the telegraph. They might be stretching the truth a little bit. Or said in burrito terms, their BS is a little overstuffed. Tony Katz 93 WIBC. Good morning. Good to be with you. I will get to the burrito. I just want to say I was at the Weird Al show last night at Roof. Hoosiers, you so don't disappoint. You don't disappoint at all. The people who showed out. The costumes, the insanity. The guy who was smoking a cigarette, drinking a beer, had no shirt and no shoes. Spectacular. And Weird Al, the band is fantastic if you didn't know, puts on a show. Multiple costume changes. He wore the suit for fat. He wore the whole suit. They did dare to be stupid. They did word crimes, a bunch of montage stuff, and video interstitials that were very funny. Crowd interact, really, really good show. Like, super entertaining, two hours, nonstop, good show. If you were there, it was terrific. And for the whole family that were dressed like surgeons for the song like a surgeon, proud of you. Very, very proud of you. It was absolutely fantastic. Now let's talk burritos. So here's the story. Let's see if we can figure this one out. Because it started, I guess I didn't catch it at first. It started with the story I saw over the New York Post. JD Vance, a fat shames columnist who mocked Gen Z complaints about $20 burritos. So it was a post by Andrew Colvitt. I don't know Andrew. Andrew was the executive producer for the late Charlie Kirk and has taken over the show, which I think is still going on. And he posted. that one of our TP USA, Turning Point USA college students, gave me his take on affordability. Quote, a burrito shouldn't cost $20. And he continued, yeah, a lot of this is a hangover from COVID and Biden era inflation, but the lived experience is the same. It just feels like basic things cost too much. This was in response to a post by Matt Walsh about grocery prices being insane. Everything you have heard from me is within this space. You cannot deny the rising costs of things and you cannot deny how it affects Midwest Main Street. Always remember, we are ahead of the curve on everything. We're more honest about what's happening. We are very, very far ahead of everybody else. We talk about these things early. Mark Theson.

Who's a smart enough, nice enough dude? Writes in response, cry me a river, the burritos in the college cafeteria are included in your meal plan. On a scale of one to stupid, Mark, that wasn't your best effort. That is the problem. I think I saw Ben Shapiro. You can look this up, producer Carl. Ben Shapiro posted, if you're buying $20 burritos, you're doing it wrong. Ben missed the mark. That's not the argument. The argument is not whether or not the burrito is actually $20. The argument is that the burrito, which we would not consider a luxury, has become in a place of unaffordable. What is happening and how do we correct this? This is a younger generation where you want the votes telling you something. Are you going to listen to it or not? Are you going to listen? Are you going to pay attention? Or are you just going to tell them too bad? When they tell you that Manhattan is unaffordable, the answer is move out of Manhattan. When they tell you that the burrito is unaffordable, you might want to listen. These are different things. People move all the time because of affordability. That is a standard. That's how other parts of the country get populated. The $20 burrito is a different subject. You don't know that? You really don't know this? Hey, you know what? Maybe you don't know it. But don't act pompous about it. Not at all. So JD Vance writes of Mark Thieson. I'm surprised to hear Mark say this. If you've ever met him in person, it's quite obvious the man has never missed a burrito. Mr. Vice President, scumbag answer. Not tough, not smart, low rent, low class, absolutely ridiculous. Because we still haven't addressed the issue. And maybe your concepts of economic nationalism don't actually solve the problem. I would appreciate it. And my elected officials weren't looking for the yucks. If I wanted elected officials to be podcasters or social media influencers, I'd pay attention to my Quebec with. Let's get back to the subject at hand. The concept of the $20 burrito is about what is happening around us and the perception of what is happening around us. That's the story here. If they're in turning point, let's assume that they're early 20s. Right? Early 20s. You're 21, you're 22. We'll say 22. We'll just say a little bit older. Your point of view is that everything is too expensive. And you're wondering who's going to fix that. How do you think these communists come in with the free this and free that and free the other and free your mother? Why do you think it's working? And your plan is, stop complaining? That isn't how you connect with people.

If the political right wants to play this as a bunch of pseudo-intellectual dummies, they can. Oh, quit your complaining. In my day, holy cow, are you missing every part of this? I would agree, if you can't afford a $20 burrito, don't eat a $20 burrito. I've got a story about $100 hot dogs. And for the record, there is no hot dog on planet Earth worth 100 bucks. I have spoken. We are done. But the story here about the $20 burrito is not about $20 for a burrito. It is about the perception of cost and what it is that a younger generation is looking at. If we have a younger generation that has been coddled, a younger generation that has been lied to, told that a gender studies degree is going to get them a good career. Nope. When they see reality punch them in the face, it's shocking. They were lied to their whole lives. And we do have cost issues in terms of food, insurances, et cetera. We're just going to mock or are we going to explain and help? And sometimes the help isn't coming through some kind of economic policy. It's coming through a harsh reality. We have to change the way we do things. Oh, so Tony, you do want to get rid of capitalism. Hell no, I want actual capitalism, damn it. I want to do away with regulations that make things impossible. I want to do away with those people who engage in corruption that increase costs on the insurance side. I want to see what we're doing about growing our own food, never mind the importation of food and how we bring down these costs. I want to honestly address and assess the situation. I don't want to mock people who are noticing it's affecting them. Really bad from the vice president, really bad from Ben Shapiro, mistakes, correctable, but mistakes. Looking at a whole bunch right now. We have got Dow futures up 60, NASDAQ futures up 173. Tony Katz, 93 WIBC. Good morning. Good to be with you. Oil prices at $77 and $27 a barrel on the West Texas crude. The Brent crude coming out of the oceans, $82.15. 10-year treasury at 4.611, and it's those gold prices. $4353 an ounce, up 112 in the last 24 hours. Now, the story here is that gold had come down to about 4,000 an ounce and it bounced around in that area and not moved. Now we're seeing movement back to the up. Silver is up, now $64.54. An ounce.

It could be the latest regarding economic data. The story is that the U.S. economy lost 23,000 jobs in July. 20,000 for June, 23,000 for July. Dow Jay Jones had been looking for a gain of 83,000. Unemployment at 4.1%, but the labor participation rate at 61.4. So this could mean a softer economy. This could keep the Fed from raising interest rates. Bitcoin, by the way, it's 64,000. Sorry, yeah, 64,999. We're going to get the breakdown on this on Tony Katz today at noon. You should tune in. It is a fantastic show. There are snacks. You have to provide your own, but we don't mind snacks. And I think that is key. We have had a couple of Fed governors, as I talked about yesterday, looking at raising interest rates because inflation is not under control. It's not. I get this. Even a further reduction of per barrel oil prices might not change that situation.

So losing jobs this month, seeing the unemployment rate down, the unemployment rate doesn't actually give us the full figure either. It may signal to the Fed that you already have. a slowing down. But we already have information regarding the GDP number, which was 1.5% gross domestic product, as Dr. Matt Will explained, much better than the number shows because the GDP includes government spend. We don't want government spending. We want less government spending. So the GDP is a flawed number in and of itself, which can be goosed by more government spending, but we have less government spending, which is actually good for us. We have a smaller GDP number. It's actually better than we think. Sometimes, and I think this is one of those times, we see conflict in the numbers. We're going to try and make sense of this on Tony Katz today at noon. I think the markets are going to have a very, very interesting morning. They may like what they see. because it means that the Fed won't raise interest rates, right? We don't have as many jobs, but the Fed won't raise interest rates, cause and effect, and so therefore the market says, good. And what makes me say this? In the time that I've been talking to you, the Dow futures have gone up 100. They're now up 119, and the NASDAQ futures went up another 100. They're now up 238 or up 50 or 60.
