Good Thursday morning, and so nice to have you with us on the 47 morning update, and we've got two big stories for you. After month...

of Democrats trying to undermine the Save Act. New polling data shows it's not working. And right now, there is still a massive majority of Americans that support the Save Act. So can it get done before November? We break it down for you. Also, Democrats had massive defeats by the socialists and communists and Marxist candidates that ran against the, quote, establishment Democratic Party. So how much money did they waste trying to save the establishment candidates? It is staggering. And what does it mean now? Well, the Democratic Party is dead, and the Marxists, they've taken over. It's the 47 morning update, and it starts right now. Story number one. So let's start with the Save Act. You know, where you have to show an ID to actually vote in an election in this country, a federal election. It's a pretty obvious idea that makes a lot of sense. Why is it that Congress is still refusing to act? Well, there are many that are actually trying to undermine the Save Act, hoping that the majority of Americans will disappear from supporting it so then they don't actually have to do anything with it. We've got new polling data that has just come out. And here is what the American people are saying. And I'll get ready because I promise you, Washington's still going to try to not listen to you. Yet again, a majority of American voters continue to support the Save Act. It's a simple bill requiring proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. That's what it does. That's it. And that's why so many Americans still support it. Now, after months of those on the left trying to destroy the SAVE Act, tear it down, say it's racist or bigoted, or it's trying to suppress minority voters, however they want to describe it, guess what? The American people still are not falling for it. According to a new Rasmussen survey, 62% of likely voters support the SAVE Act. including 46% who strongly support it, while 33% opposed the bill. and 22% strongly opposed. Rasmussen says support levels have changed little since May, meaning that the attacks in May, June, July, yeah, and now we're in August, they are not landing that punch with voters. The American people believe that you should be a U.S. citizen to vote, and you should have to prove that you are a United States citizen to register to vote. And nothing that they've done so far has been able to turn the tide. Now, the bill, also known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, has already passed the House, but is not advanced in the Senate, even with Republicans in charge. Support, split sharply, by the way, along party lines, the polling data shows. 84% of Republicans back this bill, 45% of Democrats, and here's the most interesting.

5:47

Almost 60% of independent voters say you should not be able to register to vote in a U.S. election without showing proof of citizenship. Yeah, that's a big, big number. Now, support also varies by pass vote. 88% of those who voted for Donald Trump in 2024, for example, they backed the Save Act. No surprise there. 53% of Kamala Harris voters opposed it. Again, no surprise there. But the poll reveals a high level of agreement on citizenship requirements for voting, and that's the part that Washington should listen to the most. 82% of voters said only U.S. citizens should be allowed to vote in U.S. elections. I'll say that again. 82% of voters say only. United States citizens should be allowed to vote in our U.S. elections. Now, including majorities across every party and racial group surveyed as well. I'll give you these numbers. 89% of Republicans, 77% of Democrats, 79% of independents, 87% of white voters. 67% of black voters, 74% of Hispanic voters, and 75% of other minority voters. Now, what is the big takeaway there? Well, the race baiting is not working. Among minorities, they overwhelming almost 8 out of 10 say they support having to show that they are an American citizen to vote in our elections. Think about that. because the Democrats to try to undermine the Save Act have said it's racist to ask a minority to show that they are a citizen of this country. In fact, more than half of voters, 56% said it is at least somewhat likely that non-citizens are illegally registered to vote in their state, including 33% who said it's very likely. Now, among that group, 92% want the Senate to pass the Save Act. 75% of Republicans consider it at least somewhat likely compared with 44% of Democrats and 53% of independents that believe that illegal immigrants are voting in our elections. Here's something else that's interesting if you break it down by sex. More men than women, 62% to 52% said it is at least somewhat likely that non-citizens are illegally registered in their state. The majorities of both men and women also support the SAVE Act at 65% and 59% for women, respectively. Now, here's the part that matters. Time is running short for the proposal to affect the November elections. That's part of the reason why there has been stalling. Democrats don't want this, and the Republicans that hate Donald Trump in the Senate who lost their reelection campaigns, trying to stick it to the president. also don't want the Save Act to have any implications for the midterm elections coming up. That is obviously messed up.

8:53

Senator Rick Scott, Republican from Florida, told Newsmax on Tuesday that Senate Republicans can still pass core pieces of the SAVE Act before the November midterms. Scott also urged the Republicans to force final congressional approval of the legislation requiring voter identification and proof of citizenship through either budget reconciliation or a talking filibuster. I've been an advocate for that for quite some time. He also went on to say that Senate Republicans should not allow the measure to languish as the chamber prepares for its August recess. Scott's push comes as the bill is again stalled in the Senate where Republicans are in charge. Despite two years of House-passed versions and backing from President Donald Trump, Now, this polling data shows us one thing. No matter how much you try to undermine and slander the simple idea of having to be a U.S. citizen and showing proof that your assistant to register to vote in this country, well, the American people, they still want the Save Act at an overwhelmingly large number. This is bipartisan. And the question now is, why on earth are the Republicans in the Senate not moving this forward? The answer, unfortunately, is sad. There's just a handful of them that hate Donald Trump more than they love this country. And that's why we're having this conversation right now. Next, story number two. We had an election. It was a big one that happened around the country. And it was a primary that was going to tell us what was coming moving forward with the Democratic Party. Well, the Democratic Party, my friends, it is dead. They have been taken over by the communist, socialist, Marxists. Some call them the DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America. But to be clear, they're not socialists. They're communists. They are Marxists. And now we know how much the Democratic Party was afraid of them. We now have learned that the establishment Democrats spent more than 63.9 million. trying to take down Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed. Yes, the radical extremist Marxist of the Democratic Party. The Democrats in Washington spent over 60 million in support of Representative Haley Stevens and her bid for the U.S. Michigan Senate nomination in the Democratic Party, and it still wasn't enough. Now, the takeaway is this. The Democratic Party is dead. They have completely been overrun by the Marxists, socialists, and the communists. And this primary picking is getting worse, not better for Democratic candidates. Even those that were extreme progressives. They have been replaced. by the radical Marxists, the communists, who are saying that America is evil, that America is a place that should not be celebrated, that America is a country that needs to, in essence, be overthrown from within. The candidates that are winning the primaries now are the ones that say get rid of the Supreme Court or get rid of the presidency or get rid of Congress. Certainly they're in favor of getting rid of law and order.

12:11

Now, this radical agenda of Abdul El-Sayed and many others are seeing a record amount of outside spending coming in and trying to stop them. And it is not working at all. And that's why Democrats are freaking out. Now, Stevens has seen a majority of ad support targeting the primary, 63.9 million. 78% of all spending targeting the primary went towards supporting Haley Stevens against Abdul El-Sayed. He has seen $7.5 million in ad support. That is nothing compared to the $63.9 million dollars. that was spent to support Stevens. This is truly incredible. Now, the pro-Israel organization APEC spent the most of any group backing Stevens with more than 30 million in spending over the past year. That funding came via United Democracy Project, doubling the amount it spent to defeat former Democratic representative, Jamal Bowman of New York in 2024, just to put it in perspective. Now, Stevens' bid was heavily supported also by the leadership of the Democratic Party. That's the second takeaway. The Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, for example, was all in. The New York Times wrote in June that Chuck Schumer had asked party donors to support Stevens heavily, calling her the, quote, strongest candidate and spawned efforts giving her a sizable edge from big spinning Democratic donors. Well, in spite of the record spending, Stevens could not match Abdul El-Sayed on the campaign trail and what he was selling. The public health officials toured the state with a cast of far-left supporters, including Hasan Piker, who literally said that America deserved 9-11. And that played well in the minority Muslim community all across the state of Michigan. You add on top of that, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders coming in, New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and that was the trifecta of the radical left taking over. Now, Abdul El-Sayed also brought in more contributions to his own campaign than Stevens. The preliminary FEC reports show that El Saiz raids about 14.4 million to Stevens 9.9. The enthusiasm from Democratic Socialists of America, aligned activists delivered one of the most stunning upsets in democratic politics history of our lifetime. So what is the warning from this? Well, the warning to Michigan voters who now faced a choice between Abdul El-Sayed and a Republican nominee, a hardcore conservative, and Mike Rogers. Now, Democrats, they're all falling in line now because they're terrified of being against Abdul El-Sayed.

15:05

They don't care what he says at this point. Chuck Schumer and Stevens have already both publicly backed him in their statements, saying that they cannot wait for the Democrats to win in November. Abdul El-Sayed has run a energetic campaign that inspired thousands of Michiganders across the state with a clear focus on lowering costs and standing up for working families. Democrats are united by a common purpose. Quote, putting a check on Donald Trump by defeating his Republican enablers and taking back the Senate. We look forward to working with Abdul and Democrats cross Michigan to win the seat in November is a statement from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. That's the same committee that put together tens of millions of dollars to try to beat Abdul El-Sayed because even they knew he was a radical. Now, this wasn't the only election that should raise eyebrows. Representative Shri Thanedar also lost the Michigan primary to a socialist state lawmaker. Now, Shri Thanedar lost this primary race in an even more progressive foe that said, oh, no, I'm crazier than you are. You may remember Shri Thanedar from TV. This is one of the most crazy elected Democrats in America. But the Democratic socialist found someone even more progressive, making him the latest Democrat to be ousted by an open socialist in the midterm election cycle. Now, when I say open. Socialists, I'm saying the person that beat him said, I am a communist. I'm a Marxist. I'm a socialist. I'm not a Democrat. And the Indian-born congressman lost to the Detroit native Donovan McKinney, a state representative in Michigan's House of Representatives, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, DSA, and McKinney won by 51.9% of the vote over the incumbent at 48.1. with the race being called by the AP Wednesday morning. Now, Shri Thanedar was endorsed by the U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, another radical. And the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Yeah, this guy was crazy. McKinney, however, won support of the well-known socialist lawmaker Bernie Sanders and squad members Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Now, McKinney also secured endorsements from other members of the Congressional Black Caucus, with Omar and Presley, both part of that. So what is the takeaway? It is this. The Democratic Party has lost total control of their party. They are now being run by the Socialists, the Marxist. and the communists. And get ready, America, because many of these people I'm talking about now are going to actually be in Congress casting votes to destroy America.
