Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. The hell is this? Alabama slips to number 11 in the preseason coaches poll. The lowest ranking they've had in 18 years. You know they're still going to make the playoff, right? I mean, you know that, right? You are well aware of this. I just want to make sure we understand this. They're still going to make it. I'm a little upset here. They do note that Auburn has received votes. They're ranked like 38th or something. Florida ranked 27th. What are we doing, guys? I thought we were turning this thing. No, it's a preseason. It is the preseason. And we are looking at a, I think, a great college football season. I'm really looking forward to going to a bunch of games and enjoying myself and dragging my kid along and making him enjoy himself. Number 11 of the preseason coaching poll, lowest ranking in 18 years, Ohio State at the top. Georgia, number three, and Auburn receives the votes as well. Number six. Republican nominee for Alabama Secretary of State Caroline Dobson criticized New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani as a blatant hypocrite for requiring state IDs to prevent non-residents from illegally shopping in bulk at his planned government-run discount stores. while opposing any voter ID requirement to stop non-residents from illegally voting. Can I just say this? I mentioned this to Yaffe yesterday. The point of these stores is to lose money, like selling things at a loss. But I realize it's actually more insidious than that. It's just like the Medicaid schemes. The people running the stores will like lose money because they're going to be selling food at a loss, but the state's just going to subsidize it. Or the city is just going to subsidize it. It's a welfare fraud scheme. It's another non-profit fraud scheme. The people who are running these are actually going to make money. I didn't even think about that until today. Number five. United States Senator Katie Britt outlined an online safety agenda for kids that targets gambling ads reaching children through their phones and AI chat bots that encourage isolation or self-harm. She's supporting bipartisan bills to restrict such content and hold platforms accountable, which is exactly what needs to happen. We've got to get these gambling ads under control. Look, you can say, well, what about freedom, Dale? What about freedom? And look, people in the radio business, they love doing these gambling ads. They love them, love them. You got to rein these things in. It's out of control on sports. It really is. I know the sports leagues will freak out about this, but this, it is non-stop. We are creating a generation of degenerate gamblers, and it is only going to get worse. We've got to realize this is not a path to fiscal success for states. And even if it was at what cost, guys, what are we doing here?

Number four. The vote to advance Todd Blanche's nomination for Attorney General out of the Senate Judiciary Committee happened. And it was successful. United States Senator Katie Britt was one of the votes and she was a yes saying she is looking forward to getting him quickly confirmed as should happen. Gotta remind you guys of something. People who win the presidency should get their nominees. Unless their nominees are like some sort of monster, which this guy is not. He's the most unqualified person ever. Just garbage BS. Oh, no, we're holding this person up because of this MAGA fund that's going to pay people who are wrongly convicted. Oh, no, heaven forbid they be made whole for ruining their lives. But some actual bad people might benefit. Okay, then fix it. I mean, do that. There's nothing to do with him being AG. I hope you guys got your donor emails and stuff like that, Phil. Good job. Number three. Far left, Abdullah Said won the Michigan Democrat Senate, United States Senate primary. They're telling you it's too close to call, but the Dale Jackson Election Center hereby calls it. The Senate primary is called. It's a blow to moderate Democrats. Okay? I mean, really, that's it. It's a blow to establishment Democrats overcoming more than 60 million in spending against him. I wonder if they're going to mention A-PAC or Jews at any point in time. Oh, all the time? Okay, good, good, good, good, good. But he overcome, he overcame it, and he won. Razor-thin margin left Progressives short of the decisive victory they so desperately wanted. At least the party itself is like 50-50 and they're going to be fighting about this. I like it. I like it a lot. Hooray, guys. Number two. All right. A new poll shows a surprisingly close Alabama governor's race with governor-elect national championship winning coach United States Senator Tommy Tuberville. at 49%. And Doug Jay Jones, the cowardly caretaker, former junior senator in an ill-fitting suit who looks like he just woke up and stole his shoes from a homeless person and who will never be governor, attorney general, or United States senator again at 41%. This is surprisingly close. I'm going to be completely honest. I mean, you look at this? It is close. It's close. I predicted a 60-40 race. That's what you seem to be looking at in some of these other races. I mean, well, let's just be real about it. I don't know. Walt Maddox got 40%. in 2018, and Kay Ivey got 60%. So, you know, 41, 47%. Yeah, Doug Jay Jones will be treated as a normal Democrat. That's how they're going to try to frame him and build him. And he'll do okay. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. All right, guys, I'm going to speak directly to some of the children out there that are going to school for the first time in a long time. Look, someone else tried to kill the president of the United States.

And a lot of your teachers are okay with that. Okay? And the National Education Association had to send out an email yesterday, or maybe it was the day before, asking that they stop celebrating the murder and attempted murder of their political foes. Because it's making them look bad. But unfortunately for them, they're going to have some poor, there's going to be a lot of poor impulse control in the school systems today. Because yesterday... Someone tried to kill Trump again. This time at a Trump golf course near Los Angeles. He was scouting out these security protocols as Trump was about to arrive and play golf at once at some point in time. So yeah, another guy getting arrested for attempting to set up a scenario where they could kill the president of the United States. They may think to yourself, well, Dale, I mean, you're acting like this is happening all the time. Well, yeah, I mean, it's true. I am acting like it's happening all the time because it is happening all the time. A Tallahassee man was just sentenced to two years in federal prison for repeated online threats to kill President Donald Trump and other federal officials, including, and it's just a very strange group of people he wanted to kill here, but he's wanted to kill other people like Jerome Powell as well. Also, we have another individual out of Tennessee who has found themselves in a scenario where they also have been indicted for trying to threaten the president of the United States again, a Knoxville man. is accused of posting threats on TikTok to kill and injure public officials, including President Trump. He is being held in federal custody for that. He's got a 22-count indictment. Accusing him imposing threats on TikTok to murdering Maine national public officials in violation of federal statutes covering threats against the president, interstate threats, and threats to murder a federal law enforcement officer. And there we go. So, yeah, guys, can we stop trying to kill the president? It's not a big ask, but I'm going to continue to just politely ask. Could you please stop talking about killing the president and celebrating it? I'm going to take on the role of the teachers' unions, but I'm going to speak to everyone. Let's stop celebrating the violence conducted in our names, okay, and decry it instead. How many Democrats have come out and decried this latest attempt at Donald Trump? Oh, did you say none?
