Way to go Todd. Way to go Todd. Todd. Six-26, Way to Go Todd's our kindness moment of the day named after Todd Walker. He was on a plane. He saw a woman, kids. He was kind. We said, Way to go, Todd. That's the shortest version I got of that story. That's good. Here we go. We're going to go to Detroit Rock City, the home of Yvonne Greer. A touring rock band, who is based in Detroit by the name of Autumn Kings. The Autumn Kings are a trio. They're a hard rockin young men. They've been out there for a while. They just finished performing at the annual Rockfest, Wisconsin, in Chippewa Valley, northwest Wisconsin. They were leaving, and their van broke down on a rural highway. They're out on the two lane in the middle of northwest Wisconsin, and they're broken down. And it's night because it was after the show, right? Mm-hmm. They tried to call every mechanic they could, and everybody said, well, we can fix it, but it's going to take a couple of days. Your engine's got some problems here. They had 10 hours to make it to their next gig, the upheaval festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan 500 miles away. And then a guy pulled up, and it couldn't be more delicious. He's 60, and his name is Ernie. That's all we know. We don't know his last name. And he looked at it. He kind of knows cars. And he goes, yeah, everybody's telling you the truth. It's going to be a minute. He goes, I'll tell you what, why don't you take my Ford Explorer and load all the stuff in it? And then when you're done with your show, drive back. And they're like, you know, we're 500, that's going to be 1,000 miles. He goes, I don't care. Go ahead and take it. So they unload, load up in the Explorer, they make it to their show. They also believe that their performance was the best they've ever done. They're kind of given some credit of that to Ernie because they were so taken by his humanity and about his generosity. Yeah. And when they got back, they drove it back, they said to him... why did you do this? And he goes, well, I'd never met a live band before, and I thought it would be cool to give it to him. It was all about meeting a band. That's what he wanted to do. And he had their car. Was it still the middle of the night? Yeah, and then he helped get the car to the mechanic, and they got it fixed and all that stuff. One of the people on their website, on their band site, commented and said, this is the best and most Midwest story I've ever heard. That is the reputation we have in the Midwest. Well, like, well, yeah, here's just take. What difference does it make? And so they were just blown away by this whole thing. And Ernie's got new friends who are rocked.

our rock band guys who are like 28 years old. He's like our dad or grandpa. I just love that story very much. That is great. Sometimes, and I know you're prey to this, you get that feeling, especially when you see in Clement Weather, like you might see today. You see somebody standing in the rain waiting for a bus or they're walking and it's cold. Oh, it hurts my heart. And you just want to pull over and go. Hey, you want to ride? I do, but then you feel like, are you going to look like the creep? You're trying to be nice, but maybe you look creepy. And I'm especially aware of that as a man. I would never do that. I would never ask that about a woman. Do you need a ride? Oh, my God, I would never do that. But. Don't you have that feeling where you just want to pick somebody up? Absolutely. It just breaks my heart. It's like it's raining cats and dogs and they're standing at the bus stop or carrying groceries somewhere. Or it's 20 below zero or something. So do good.
