Well, it's another Tuesday, and it's another primary election day for some states across the nation, including here on the home front in the great state of Kansas. And while we're battling some of our own issues here in the state, others continue to try to look for ways to try and relieve taxes on their citizens. One ballot initiative that is up for election today goes to the state of Missouri, with them looking to potentially end state income tax. And I think that's freaking awesome. As the topic of affordability continues to be the main focal point for many across the nation, Missouri. looks to end their state income tax while Oklahoma is looking to end their property taxes. All of it in the idea of driving more people to their states and being more competitive nationwide. And I think it's working. As we see the opposite effect happening in California and New York with higher taxes, higher regulation, and socialist spending that's been taken to an entirely different level, we're seeing a mass exodus out of those two states with businesses and individuals looking for a new home. And while these individuals and businesses may find a new home with better tax incentives, it sounds like Zohran Mamdani might have to start passing laws. to forcefully keep people within his community.
