Chronic migraine is 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox, Onabotulinum toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine before they start. It's not for those with 14 or fewer headache days a month. It prevents on average 8 to 9 headache days a month versus 6 to 7 for placebo. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition. Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue, and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS Lugarig's disease, Myasthenia Gravis or Lambert Eaton syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. Trump goes on yet another crazy rant this time about Gordy Howell and Bridges. And then we talk about the possibility of a new cold war. Plus, Pat and I talk about the changes coming in our congressional leaders and new EPA standards or lack thereof in the bonus show. I'm Josh filling in for David Packman on February 10th. You can catch me from Ring of Fire. YouTube.com slash the Ring of Fire. Let's get into it.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, a march for life is proving to be anything but as we see new outbreaks of measles coming from the DC area after a pro-life march. Makes a lot of sense because of who tends to attend. these pro-life marches. I'm Josh, filling in for David Packman here February 10th. You can catch me on weekends on Ring of Fire. That is YouTube.com slash the Ring of Fire. And right now, the country is seeing a massive outbreak in measles. And the measles outbreaks are happening exactly where you'd think they would. Republican-run areas, Republican events, places where you'd see pseudoscience and anti-vax attitudes all combining in one small spot. So, D.C. is just the tip of the iceberg. They've confirmed that one of the hotspots is this March for Life rally. Other hotspots they pointed to? Catholic churches and other gathering places that were related to the March for Life. Gee, you have a preventable disease, people not taking the steps to prevent it, and then they all gather in one spot as an outbreak occurs. I wonder what could go wrong. I wonder where we saw this previously. It's almost like we saw this, I don't know, a few years ago under the first Trump presidency with COVID. A rejection of science, a rejection of preventable measures. And then you have mixed messaging at the top, which just tells people, hey, we don't know what we're doing. You're on your own. And I hate to say it when you have large groups of people and you don't give them direction, you don't give them expertise, they're not going to always do the wisest thing out there. So, when you have a Maha movement with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. out there questioning the efficacy of vaccines and saying that we're having too many vaccines. Americans don't hear the nuance of, hey, the measles vaccine's good, but these other vaccines with the same ingredients are bad, they don't see that. They just see the distrust. And all of a sudden, Medical science doesn't matter to the American public anymore. And it's forced people like Dr. Oz to be challenged by Dana Bash on CNN, where he has to actually beg the American public. to take the measles vaccine. Let's look at the clip. Speaking of transparency, I do want to, before I let you go ask you about a record surge in measles in the United States. South Carolina, for example, is currently reporting 800 cases. It's the worst outbreak since measles was declared eradicated more than three decades ago. Is this a consequence of the administration undermining support or advocacy for?

6:01

measles and other vaccines? I don't believe so. We've advocated for measles vaccines all along. Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s been on in the very front of this. Oh, come on. He is, when the first outbreak happened in Texas, he said, get your vaccines for measles because that's an example of an ailment that you should get vaccinated against. What happened with the core schedule that was released at the beginning of last month was to say, listen, we look at what happened in Europe. In Europe, if you give people 80... different vaccine doses to take. People start... But I'm specifically talking about measles here. I mean, you talked about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.., the group Children's Health Defense that he founded and ran up until three years ago, posted on X, despite the media's scare tactics, there's no reason to fear measles. Should people fear measles? Oh, for sure. And we actually are pretty aggressive. At CMS, we fund any vaccine you want to take. There will never be a barrier to Americans get access to the measles vaccine. And as a doctor, your message to people about the measles vaccine is- Take the vaccine, please. We have a solution for a problem. Not all illnesses are equally dangerous and not all people equally susceptible to those illnesses, but measles is one you should get your vaccine. Dr. Mehmet Oz, thank you so much for being here. I appreciate it. Thanks, data. Should people fear measles? That's not even a question you should have to ask someone, especially a medical doctor. And of course, knowing that he's on national television, knowing that he has a crisis on his hands, Dr. Oz had to say, yes, you should be afraid of the measles. Oh, for sure. And then he begs people to take the vaccine. Meanwhile, we are still seeing this outbreak across the country. It's almost like the messaging doesn't work. It's like people still don't trust the government or medical science. And we're seeing it in places like South Carolina, South Carolina with over 600 new cases. We've seen it in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, all over the country. Most strikingly, We're also seeing it in Texas. And part of the issue in Texas is coming from ICE detainment facilities. You have undocumented immigrants who don't have the normal access to health care. You have absolutely terrible conditions that you're holding them in. And of course, you've got a lot of right-wing nut jobs that have zero, zero training or oversight. Looking after these people, it is a hotbed for measles and the spread of disease. And look, I get it. I understand that we all want to look for some new answer. We all want to try to blame our ailments on some big boogeyman. And I do get that it is easy to distrust the pharmaceutical industry. There are really big reasons that you should distrust the pharmaceutical industry. And I'm still waiting on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. to ban pharmaceutical ads on television. Those are not people that are always putting your health first. That said, our government does have checks and balances in place. Our government does try to put out the best available science for you.

9:34

And throwing out the baby with the bathwater, so to speak, and saying, hey, you know what? You shouldn't trust vaccines at all. But, oh, wait, we need you to trust this vaccine. Because now it's killing people. Or under COVID. Hey, we really don't think you should follow any of those COVID guidelines. Oh, except now it's killing grandma. Now we have to fix the issue. And that dichotomy of reality? versus perception, versus the health influencer type of sphere, the Joe Rogans of the world, the Facebook moms, all of them spreading all of this disinformation and sowing distrust. And all it does is it ends up killing people. And that is the MO of this administration. They don't care. about you. They don't care about what you think. They just care about protecting their buddies, like the pharmaceutical industry. You notice that the TrumpRX.com, it's just sending you to manufacturer's websites. It actually helps discourage you from using generic drugs. That's all this is. It's a big get rich quick scheme. It's a big scheme to help prop up their buddies. And yet they're still going to tell you, hey, you know what, don't take the vaccines. Except you should take the vaccines. But we're not going to make you take the vaccines. We shouldn't trust them. But you should so that you don't die from the measles. Absolutely assinine stuff out of the administration. And I'm seeing more asinine stuff out of this administration. And before I jump into the latest stuff with the Epstein files. I want to again very clearly state just because someone is in the Epstein files doesn't mean they're guilty. Just because someone's name appears doesn't mean that they are connected in any way with any nefarious acts. Matter of fact, I have an acquaintance that I've seen have to battle this. His name appears in the Epstein files. And it was sent to him as a joke. Hey, guess what? I found you in the Epstein files. It caused a real panic with him because he knew he did nothing wrong. He actually didn't even know Epstein at all. And it turns out that his name was in a separate email for some unrelated event that was forwarded to the wrong person or forwarded to someone in Jeffrey Epstein's sphere of influence. So I want to be very careful with talking about who is implicated and who is involved with things in the Epstein files. I also do not want at all to talk about the actual acts themselves. Why, first of all, the victims and survivors, they've told their stories. We should have believed them from the get-go. If you really have the need to go see the deplorable things that these people perpetrated upon these women and these girls, go ahead. I don't need to talk about them. But what I want to talk about is the fallout. I want to talk about the insane lengths that the Republican Party is going to to protect people in power in this country.

13:16

We heard the reports of Donald Trump screaming at Marjorie Taylor Greene saying, my friends are in there. My friends are in the files. You're going to really upset my friends. We've seen Donald Trump's 180 on Bill Clinton as soon as Bill Clinton said he was going to testify. We've seen Todd Blanche interview Ghislaine Maxwell and completely bury the lead. in that interview, essentially just giving her a free pass to say what she wanted. And now because of that, Maxwell was called before Congress. And in her closed door questioning, she simply pleaded the fifth, gave no answers. Instead, her lawyer puts out a statement saying, she will. Name names. She will. put out the type of content that the Trump administration wants to hear if Donald Trump grants her clemency. She's basically saying, hey, I'll make up whatever story you want to protect Donald Trump if it gets me out of prison. We've already seen her moved to a less secure facility, a nicer facility for apparently no reason. But the Epstein file fallout in the U.S. is absolutely assinine because there is no real fallout. A few people. are getting uncomfortable. A few people are seeing some backlash. We're seeing Casey Wasserman, the head of LA 28, the LA Olympic Games. We've seen him implicated in the Epstein Files. And so far, we've seen some calls for resignations, but no real punishments. Until on Monday, Chapel Roan, who is managed by Wasserman's management company. fired him, uh, fired Casey Wasserman as her manager. So a little bit of fallout. Meanwhile, overseas, we're seeing the labor party on the British side get absolutely decimated. And there are calls for Keir Starmer, the prime minister, to resign because he. appointed people that were connected with Epstein. Appointing someone who was connected with Epstein was enough to get calls for him to be removed from office. We also see Norway, the Norwegian royal family is getting torn apart because of links with Epstein, including there's $10 million in a will to some kids. It is an insane story overseas. We're seeing fallout from Sultan Salim, right? The Emirati businessman. We're seeing fallout for him. Yet in this country, someone like, I don't know, Howard Lutnick. Howard Lutnick are Commerce Secretary. We may have Adam Schiff calling for him to resign, but there's no real pressure on Howard Lutnick.

16:35

to remove himself from office at all. This guy is skating Scott Free. And his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, allegedly, are extremely strong. I mean, he's one of his best friends. And let me be clear about something about Donald Trump. I did say, just having your name. in the files does not mean you're guilty, and I am certainly not casting guilt upon Donald Trump. But what I am saying is that Donald Trump, when your name is in the files tens of thousands of times, that's a problem. That means you have more than a casual relationship to this sphere of people. And then you look at the redactions that his Department of Justice undertook. Redacting names of powerful men, not the victims. Redacting names of the perpetrators of the crimes, not the victims. Who are we protecting? What are we protecting as a country? And I have said this from the beginning. The way you combat this, the way you use the Epstein files right now. is you keep asking about them. You ask your local congressman. You write your senator. You call your senator and let them know that again, if they protect Donald Trump, that they have a really, really tough road in November. And ahead of time, especially. But going into November, let them know that any protection of Donald Trump, Any association with Donald Trump is toxic to them. That is how you handle the Epstein files. And that's what we're seeing from Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie. We're seeing them step up. And I'm hoping they put their money where their mouth is and hold people accountable. We have a lot of great stuff on our show today coming up for you. Again, I am Josh from Ring of Fire weekends, filling in for David. You can catch us, YouTube.com slash the Ring of Fire. And we cannot wait to get back to some more stories here in just a little bit. When it was time for a new mattress, I didn't want to gamble on something generic. I had heard about Helix. I liked that they customized the mattress based on how you sleep. I'm mostly a stomach sleeper. So I took the quiz and ended up with a model that felt tailored to me. I've had it for years. What I notice is I don't wake up with back stiffness. I don't wake up with shoulder pain. I don't toss and turn looking for a comfortable position. It's just better than my old mattress. It's more supportive. but it's still comfortable. Another thing I like about Helix is that there's no one size fits all approach. It's really tailored to you in terms of firmness as well. It's made a difference for me and I'm thrilled to be partnering with them. Right now, Helix has a special offer only for my audience. Well, China will cancel the Stanley Cup. According to an insane truth social post from Donald Trump, all about a bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. And Trump is now saying that he is going to institute new tariffs about dairy on Canada. Meanwhile, China is going to terminate all ice hockey played in Canada. All totally normal, sane, rational things you should hear from your president. In one of his famous late night truth social posts talking about the Gordy Howl Bridge, a bridge connecting a key port of entry for the United States and Canada right in Detroit to Windsor, Canada. This bridge funded by the Canadian government using a deal that they made with the governor of Michigan at the time was paid for by Canada largely. Canada is going to take on maintenance and toll provisions from the bridge. And yet somehow Donald Trump got angry that the bridge wasn't made with U.S. Steel. Sure, United States workers and Canadian workers both jointly worked on the bridge. But now Donald Trump is saying he is going to block the opening of the bridge. And if you really dig into it, as you start getting into the second half of his lengthy truth social post, he's also upset that Canada has pulled. American liquor from their shelves over his threats about making Canada the 51st state and all of the insults he's hurled at our friendly neighbors across the border. And then he says that Mark Carney, the prime minister of Canada, wants to have a deal with China. This is the same deal that Donald Trump has railed against Canada. for months now. This time saying that we're just going to get the leftovers, I don't think so. The first thing China will do is terminate all ice hockey played in Canada and permanently eliminate the Stanley Cup because of a trade deal. That is a hard... thing to believe from the president there. He goes on to talk about the dairy tariffs that put our farmers at risk. Famously, we know that Donald Trump's tariffs have decimated our farmers and his immigration crackdown has left them with a lack of employees. So it has been something that has been absolutely appalling. from Donald Trump's side, and yet now he is trying to blame Canada, just like the South Park song, blame Canada. So now he is saying that he wants to start negotiations immediately, and that if we fix these tariffs and get dairy renegotiated and renegotiate with Canada over their Chinese deals, that the revenues generated will be astronomical.

23:49

There's an old saying that says if the facts are not on your side, you just yell louder. That is exactly what Donald Trump is doing here. This bridge is nothing that Donald Trump would even normally worry about. It's already been funded. It's already been built. It has a few final touches before it opens sometime in the next few weeks or months. And yet because he feels offended, and we know that he is a weak, thin-skinned man. But because Donald Trump feels offended by Canada, he's threatening a key port of entry. He's threatening tariffs. And now he's throwing out these wild claims, and he'll say they're a joke. It sounds a lot like somebody who's in cognitive decline. Just saying that. But he's going to say it's a joke saying that they're going to terminate all ice hockey in Canada. Okay, grandpa, go eat your mashed potatoes at 4.30 dinner. It's just a madman that's just threatening our most peaceful and best neighbor, Canada. I can remember zero times. In my lifetime, we've had a real controversy with Canada. Virtually never have we had an issue. Heck, when I've had to work in Detroit, I love going across to Windsor, getting some great Vladimir Putin, maybe see a comedy show or two in that border town. But to threaten a bridge that, by all accounts, is going to save the U.S. tens of millions of dollars a year that was paid for by Canada. Because you're offended. tells you exactly who this president is. He's petty. He's distracting because, hey, you know what? We've got the big Epstein file thing. Still going. And all he wants to do is exert some sort of power, some sort of relevance because he feels control slipping away. Do you really believe Donald Trump believes those polls? that he quotes that says that, oh, we've got 85% approval ratings. Do you think he actually believes those? Or does he actually see the real polling that we do that shows that he is cratering? Because that's what I think. I think he sees those. And he's desperate. He's screaming into the void. It's Canada's fault. It's Europe's fault. It's the Democrats' fault. It's always someone else's fault. Except his. His tariffs are a disaster. His international relations are a disaster. His domestic policy with DHS, a disaster. And yes, his name is in the Epstein files tens of thousands of times. So what is he going to do? Threaten ice hockey. Threaten Canada. Talk about China. And threaten a bridge. that will connect us even greater to one of our greatest allies, that will generate and save tens of millions of dollars a year, just so he can be petty. That's the type of man that's running this country, and that's the type of man who is being protected by your elected officials.

27:34

If you have Republicans that are elected in your state, they are protecting this man, this weak, weak man, while he threatens our allies, threatens our peace, and threatens our economy. And there is new data that is coming out talking about the real cost of these tariffs and what it is doing to our economy. And I absolutely love finding... a conservative source for these numbers that I see about tariffs. The Tax Foundation has put out new numbers about Trump's tariffs and their real impact on Americans. And the Tax Foundation, again, similar to the Cato Institute that we talked about last week, is right-leaning. And when I say right-leaning, they're traditionally right-leaning for a laissez-faire type of economy. Low taxes, low tariffs, free trade, those sorts of things grow the economy in their opinion. They have now come out with their new study showing that the average tax increase, and again, they are very clearly calling these tariffs a tax. The average tax increase. Four American families in 2025 was $1,000. And it's expected to be $1,300 in 26. Under Trump's tariffs, they are at the highest rate since 1946. The effective rate is somewhere around 10%. It's the highest we've had since the end of World War II. And we know, again, that American consumers are the ones paying the tax. And we're putting a number to it $1,000 a year. And that doesn't include all of the other tertiary things that have gone up because of the tariffs. Whether it is... Different products going up and cost. The fact that they have not made grocery prices or cost of living go down. It's gone up. Inflation is up under Trump. All of that is putting a squeeze on the American family. And then my favorite part, we have heard Donald Trump talk about how the tariffs have already raised trillions of dollars. trillions of dollars. Well, according to the Tax Foundation, 2025 brought in $264 billion in taxes. Excuse me, tariffs. A far cry from any trillions of dollars. And because the way the tariffs work, we believe that it netted the government. Only $132 billion. So when you hear Trump say, oh, we're paying for this using the tariff money. We're paying for that using the tariff money. This project will be funded by the trillions of dollars from the tariff money. So far, he has brought in $132 billion.

31:18

He's asking for a military increase of up to half a trillion dollars. Saying, oh, the tariffs are going to pay for it. He's asking for a substantial increase in DHS funding. Again, pointing to the tariffs funding it. In reality, we just know that he's going to cut programs, cut spending that Americans need. And he's going to raise money from questionable and non-traditional sources, like stealing Venezuelan oil. But the good news, we do have conservative think tanks like the Tax Foundation calling his tariffs out. And this is all playing ahead of Mike Johnson's blockade of votes regarding tariffs coming up for a renewal. As soon as Wednesday. And Johnson is hopeful that he has enough votes to continue this blockade of voting against Donald Trump's taxes. But if he fails to get the votes, because Republicans are starting to see that not only are the Epstein files toxic to Donald Trump, the tariffs and the economy are much more toxic. to Donald Trump because the American people are feeling it in their daily lives. So he is facing a rebellion from Republicans on the tariffs. So we may see this week that House Democrats could force a vote to overturn Canada's tariffs. That whole bridge fiasco. could be overturned by House Democrats. I don't think they'll get to that point, but I do think they will be able to have a vote. And if they have a vote, it makes Republicans go on record. Do you support this increased taxation of the American public? Do you support $1,000 in extra taxes for the average American family? $1,300. in extra taxes for the American family in 2026, all to net $132 billion, which you're going to spend in droves for the military, for DHS, for all of these programs that don't directly benefit the American public. Absolutely shocking. We've got a lot more great topics to cover with you. I am Josh from The Ring of Fire. That's YouTube.com The Ring of Fire. And I'm filling in for David here on this lovely February 10th. We will be back with more after this. The link is in the description. The deadline is Friday. And you could see the government shut down once again because the House of Representatives cannot come to an agreement on budgetary items. This time, it is a crucially important step in limiting the Department of Homeland Security's overreach when it comes to kidnapping and detaining our citizens. You may remember that ahead or before the killing of Alex Pretti, Democrats were soft on allowing the government to shut down again. They had allowed DHS and ICE to be funded, the way that the Republicans wanted them to be funded. Yet in the wake of Alex Pretti's death, we've seen a change in the tide from Democratic leadership. Now, Democrats are making new demands to the Republicans at the House to make sure that there are checks and balances on what DHS is doing in our communities. They're asking for things like not allowing their agents to be masked, making sure that there are judicial warrants not administrative when they enter private property. They're trying to make sure that the officers display identification and that they don't detain American citizens that are outside of the scope of their enforcement. Remember, ICE is not law enforcement. They are immigration enforcement. They're not there to arrest protesters. They're not there to crack down on crime. They are there to enforce the administration's policies on immigration. And yet, we're hearing that the GOP says this is a non-starter. They're not going to give in to the Democrats concessions. They're not going to give in to the Democrats' demands, especially the judicial warrant. Let's talk about that for a second, this judicial warrant thing. We hear. ICE knocking on doors saying they have a warrant. And they have a piece of paper that is signed. And it details what they are doing in that warrant. However, that warrant is what's called an administrative warrant. It is put out by the Department of Homeland Security. And all it is saying is essentially that the DHS endorses the actions of these ICE officers. Of course they do. They're their bosses. A judicial warrant.

38:11

on the other hand, requires a judge to look at the facts, to look into the person that ICE is trying to detain and go, do they have a case to detain this person? Does the evidence meet probable cause? Probable cause for their detention? That is a crucial, crucial step in how Not only ICE, but all of our officers out there. Law enforcement included operate. It is a departure from the stop and frisk type mentality or the mentality of these ICE officers that they just grab whoever the hell they want just because they look at them different or because they don't like how they're driving. By having a judicial warrant, they have to have proof. They have to have probable cause. And they have to say, we are going after person X for reason why. Not a bunch of thugs just running around with guns, pointing them at journalists, shooting legal observers, pulling people over for no reason. The argument against this is that it's going to slow things down. Frankly, that's a good thing, in my opinion. But if the deal that has to be made is, you know what, you're going to have to put up with slowing down your enforcement policies, we don't agree with them. But you said you wanted to take out the worst of the worst, the criminals, the violent criminals, well, this is how you're going to have to do it. The problem is it doesn't look like any of this is going to go anywhere. So it is up to our leaders to stand up to the thugs running the GOP. Working in the GOP's favor is that pulling back, pulling 700 officers out of Minnesota seems to have calmed things. There are still problems there. We still have great people on the ground there protesting, covering what ICE is doing. But the heat is not on the GOP congressional leaders. They are not feeling the impacts of this. So they're not under as much pressure to make a deal with Democrats. So now is it going to be something that the Democrats step up and actually put their money where their mouth is and say, you know what? Fine. Let's shut down the government. We have seen, though, that despite government shutdowns, despite funding gaps, despite any of this, DHS doesn't stop. And that's where my concern comes. I have a feeling that we're going to make a deal with the GOP somewhere where, you know what, we don't. We accept that they don't get judicial warrants, but they've got to be unmasked or whatever. And then I guarantee you months from now, you're going to still look at the streets of our blue run cities, especially in the run up to November, and you're still going to have the intimidation goons out there scaring the absolute hell out of our citizens. All in a ploy.

41:44

Not for immigration. It's a show of force. It's a show of force against the American people so that they are afraid. Look, we saw Donald Trump try this with the National Guard, but the National Guard has training and morals. We may not agree with how they're deployed, but we didn't see this open warfare in our streets. But Donald Trump found a willing lackey. and Kristi Noem to put together an under-trained, under-educated, over-testosteroned group of people that are out there to just create terror in our communities. And like I said, that terror... is part of the plan, especially going up to November. We've talked about the militarization of our elections, and I guarantee you this is part of it. And speaking of escalating things militarily, there is new troubling news coming out of Washington about the United States' willingness to use nuclear weapons. And it has me thinking, like, are our bomb shelters up to date? I remember the first time I went to Washington, D.C. when I was a kid, and I thought it was the funniest thing that some of these buildings had the nuclear sign on the side. It said, Fallout Shelter. I laughed, and my dad would have to tell me about all those days during the Cold War where we thought we might end the world through ICBMs. Well, it looks like 49 years of nuclear restraint is now over. And the problem is, we knew about this for over a year. It was in Project 2025. The Heritage Foundation has been calling for since before the election, the U.S. to resume nuclear testing and to back out of any deals. with Russia or any of the other nuclear superpowers to draw down our nuclear weapons. Our plan to draw down those weapons has been in place for 49 years. And there's a, sure, an expiration of the current deal that was negotiated, I think, back in 2010 with Russia to limit the number of warheads we have and not to test and to really... calm the threat of nuclear war. It was under the START treaty. Russia offered, hey, you know what, we don't even have to negotiate. For at least one year, we can live under the old guidelines, and then we can talk. We can figure this out. Donald Trump said it was poorly negotiated and that Russia cheated. So, he canceled the deal. We are about to be back in the nuclear wild, wild west of the Cold War. Meanwhile, we're trying to negotiate a treaty with China over our nuclear arsenal. There's a couple of different ways of going about that. The first way would be, hey, you know what? We've had nuclear peace for a long time. We each have enough warheads to end the world.

45:26

Multiple times, the mutually assured destruction. That could happen multiple times. We don't need these huge arsenals. We don't need to test them because the tests have been shown to be nothing more than a show of force. The last test we did was 1992. We haven't needed a nuclear test at all. But Project 2025 calls for new, modern warheads and more testing. And why do we want more testing? To show our rivals how strong we are. Nothing more than a measuring contest. Absolutely disgusting behavior. And it directly violates... Things that we've seen in the Geneva Convention. It directly violates deals that we've had with other nuclear superpowers because Russia doesn't want to end the world. China doesn't want to end the world. And the whole reason we have nuclear weapons is as a deterrent. We have them so that Russia doesn't use them. Russia has them so that we don't use them. China has them so that we don't use them. That's the whole game. Yet now we are about to see. a new escalation in this Cold War. And we thought the Cold War was over, but it looks like it's back. And it is absolutely terrifying. We've also seen Donald Trump sign executive orders saying that he wants to increase experimental nuclear energy and increase the use of nuclear energy because he hates wind. But all of that to me plays into this absolute chest thumping style of international diplomacy, if you can even call it that. Donald Trump has seen, in his opinion, that the U.S. is weak. He admires dictators like North Korea. He admires strength. But strength doesn't come from being the person with the biggest gun. It comes from being the person who doesn't have to use the gun. And that's where Donald Trump goes wrong. Donald Trump perceives our country is weak. And so now he wants to go show off by testing nuclear weapons, by letting these treaties fail and floating the idea of increasing our nuclear arsenal. clearly pissing off our allies. So I got to ask you, is your fallout shelter ready? Do you even have one? Do you know where it is? Are we going to have to go from school shooting drills to fallout drills? I know I don't want my kid to have to do that, but it looks like that's the world we're going to live in. We will be back with more. I am Josh from The Ring of Fire. That's going to get everyone right in the fields. And it's all going to be done with the help of Big Brother. That's right. We saw the ring ad at the Super Bowl for their search party, AI enhanced tool to help you find a lost dog or to maybe help local law enforcement. But what if this was the next step? in a surveillance state because that's exactly what this looks like. I'm Josh from the Ring of Fire. You can catch us YouTube.com slash the Ring of Fire and I'm filling in for David here on February 10th. And look, the ad at first, my goodness, it got us right in the emotions. It helped us look for our dogs, and we've seen statements that have put out that they've saved over 100 lost dogs already with this launch. But what they didn't say is that they already have a contract with a company called Flock AI. And Flock AI has license plate reader cameras that they've put out throughout our country. One of the best websites I've found is a nonprofit website called deflock me.org. Or excuse me, deflock.org. And it shows a map of where all these flock cameras are. They say they're for public safety. They say they're put up for private companies, for private use. Yet, when I look at the map in my area, they're in a mall parking lot. Okay. But then they're also sitting in Lowe's and Home Depot parking lots saying that they're there for retail theft. Then why, if it's just for retail theft, did Flock have to put out a statement on their website? And it is a significant piece of their website from January 6th. of this year saying no flock does not work with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or any other sub-agency. And here's the key statement from their website. ICE does not have direct access to flock cameras, systems, or data. So what does all this mean? Why am I tying ring and flock and ice all together? I feel like that meme with Charlie Kelly with the strings on the cork board. But let's play this out. Ring, which a lot of us have in our homes. I know my home security system is powered by Ring. And I do love the new cameras. I mean, I love seeing when it pops up and says, hey, you have a new delivery from.

FedEx showing up at your door. But then I started to look into it. When you enable search party to help find your lost dog, you also give local law enforcement access. They don't have to ask for permission to access your video feed or your video footage that Ring is analyzing on their servers. We already know that many. law enforcement agencies are working with ICE. So that's where that key statement, flock does not give direct access to ICE. That doesn't mean that ICE isn't going to access the data anyway. It doesn't mean that ICE isn't using the footage at right now. We are now in a nanny state and it's not for your protection. I thought about this for a long time because I love visiting the UK. And one of my favorite things to watch when I'm when I'm bored is comparing and contrasting, this is nerdy, terrible stuff. But I go on YouTube and I look at cops and then I look at the UK's version of cops. And there you see a lot less confrontations. You see a lot more. investigative type police work to solve crimes versus just rolling up and trying to pit a car on a busy highway. And the UK claims they do that through their use of automated plate readers. It is an antistate. It does violate privacy, and I have a problem with it, but I see the advantage. And if our government came to us and said, you know what, we do have a problem with police confrontations. We do have a problem with law enforcement. And we could cut that down if we had a limited set of rules that we put around using plate readers. That's not what's happening here. What's happening here is private companies, no government oversight, no, no regulations, nothing that we've agreed to, except in those huge terms and conditions that we have to scroll through that we never read. And now we're getting reports that there are these cameras going in at schools. And an investigation by a organization called the 74 is auditing school districts that have these flock cameras. And they are showing that these logs show that the police are searching these national databases. that are generated by flock, and then that information is getting passed along directly and directly. We don't know quite how. That's getting passed along to immigration agents. We don't have control of it. We don't get to opt into our schools using it. We don't get to opt in or out of driving through a mall parking lot or going to Lowe's or Home Depot. And again, we really know why they're putting these in Lowe's and Home Depot parking lots. This is not something that gets to get debated in Congress or in an election cycle. These are private companies. And now they're trying to sell it to you by saying, we're going to help you find your lost dog. And we're going to help arrest the student sitting in seventh grade.

and detain them and deport them. And hey, in addition to your golden retriever, we're also going to bust your neighbor. And you know what? We don't want retail theft. And in addition, we're going to give you the added bonus of arresting and deporting all of those people in Home Depot and Lowe's parking lots that are there for jobs, there to do the work that nobody else will. They're there to keep labor down. And we already saw that immigrants pay into the system more than they take out. That is what we're opting into, and we're getting sold that on the Super Bowl with a cute puppy. Transitioning from a cute puppy to something that is far, far less cute and probably one of the most unnerving-looking humans on the planet, it's Steve Bannon. And Steve Bannon now, we know that he got convicted of contempt, essentially by refusing to appear in front of Congress, refusing a subpoena to talk about January 6th and his role in January 6th. He served a few months in prison. He's out. And now the Trump administration is working to overturn that conviction. And we've seen this type of thing happen before in the Trump administration. He's granting favoritism to people. He's trying to make sure that January 6th doesn't have a real legal record anywhere that everybody who participated in January 6th gets off scot-free. We're seeing that. We know about that. We see people like Peter Navarro and Rudy Giuliani and all of them. All of them are getting Trump's favor. But what makes Steve Bannon's situation slightly different is Steve Bannon is looking at a role in the 2028 elections. Now, he says that he's not going to run. And I kind of believe that he would not be the type of candidate that would run. If he ran, the speculation is that it would be simply to drive the primary process further to the right. meaning, look, when we see the primaries, in my opinion, it is who's the most Republican, who's the most Democrat. You have to appeal to the base in the primary. Once you do that, then you move on to the general election and now you try to appeal to everyone. So Steve Bannon's role, along with, disgustingly, Matt Bill Gates, the speculation is that they would try to enter races. just to move the primary process to the right to make whoever Trump's hand-chosen pick, probably JD Vance, make them look less extreme. And yet pull all of the other candidates further to the right to normalize their weird behavior. I don't see that necessarily as the case, but I do see that Trump is trying to reward the people that he knows he's going to count on in 2028. And we know that Trump may not be around for that. He's looking more and more decrepit by the day. But Trump has a legacy. The Trump family, the MAGA movement, is going to be taken over by someone. And I don't think that Steve Bannon is marketable enough to be the guy who carries that mantle. But I do see...

59:33

We're a Steve Bannon, a Rudy Giuliani, all of these other advisors that Trump has had over the years, especially the ones that have been disgraced. I mean, you're talking about a guy who openly asked Steve Bannon, openly asked, would you rather have your kid be a feminist or get cancer? That guy. But he is an effective advisor to the extreme right. He really is. He carries... a very, very large voice in the Trump administration and in the Magosphere. And, of course, he looks the part. I mean, Steve Bannon really does look like the crazy, cooped out grandpa coming up with all the weird conspiracy theories you can think of. He is the walking meme of the right. So that's what you're looking at here is that right now... Drew Fox News, Jeanette Piro, which also cracks me up, is working to overturn Steve Bannon's conviction from, I think it was 2022. He's already served his time. He's already out. But they're working to get rid of his conviction so he can clear his name. to normalize him, to normalize people like Rudy Giuliani and the ink dripping down his face and the four seasons landscaping. They're trying to normalize these people so that they can be regular players in the 2028 election. Same with Matt Bill Gates. Yeah, that Matt Bill Gates, the guy who in all of the reports allegedly paid underage women at parties. for favors, while doing drugs, while showing lewd photos on the House floor, nominated to be the Attorney General of the United States, and ultimately withdrawing that, we just learned that the Florida Bar has allowed Matt Bill Gates to get off Scott Free, saying that those allegations had nothing to do with him being an attorney. Weird stuff. It's all part of trying to rehabilitate his image and Steve Bannon's image and all of these other kooky MAGA players trying to rehabilitate them ahead of 2028 so that they can be normalized as part of this continued MAGA movement in Trump's wake. That is what we're going to see this disgusting human being flouted in front of our TVs. Thank you guys for tuning in. We have had a great, great show here. February 10th.
