Hey folks, Katie Fang here. We call it coverage of breaking news. And there's breaking news as I join you for today's Sidebar Live with Katie Fang. As always, though, I will not skip this because it is way too important. Thank you. Thank you for joining me for today's sidebar. We have a lot to get into. It is a busy, busy episode. Let's get into the breaking news. First and foremost is the following. The United States at 5 p.m. Eastern today did launch what it calls to be proportionate strikes on Iran as a result of a downed Apache helicopter. And this is just coming in, breaking from the New York Times. The United States did launch a retaliatory strike on Iran at 5 p.m. Eastern, and this is because of a downed Apache helicopter over the street of Hormuz. What's interesting, folks, is this. So we just also saw some news from the New York Times that says the following. It actually says that... Iran is claiming that it didn't have any activities. I'm going to read this to you. Iran's state broadcaster, so take this with a grain of salt, citing an unnamed military official reports that there have been no aerial military operations conducted near the Strait of Hormuz in the last 24 hours, thereby suggesting that Tehran was not responsible for the downing of this U.S. Apache helicopter on Monday. But folks, I didn't stop Donald Trump. from issuing this truth social post as a result of the downed helicopter. He stated that Iranians had shot down one of these Apache helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack. And then the stupidity of a sign-off always. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Look, here's the thing. CNN has clocked this, as have others. This is coming on the heels of Trump saying that we are in the midst of ending this war with Iran. And in fact, CNN has clocked this at least 37 times Donald Trump has said we are on the cusp of resolving this war with Iran. And as always, he's full of shit. Because how can we be in the cusp of resolving this with Iran if they're allegedly shooting down our... Apache helicopters, and now we are launching retaliatory strikes. That doesn't sound like a peaceful resolution. And more importantly, folks, that doesn't sound like a ceasefire. Because remember, Trump, Kegs Breath, and others, including Marco Rubio, when he isn't busy filling in for Millie Vanilly. Marco Rubio is also saying,

that we're in the midst of a ceasefire. And they're all hiding behind that to avoid coming to Congress to have to basically do what the law requires them to do. Because remember, they successfully did that war powers resolution. So Trump is dodging, of course, the law. Keg's Breath is still playing, cosplaying, you know, whatever the hell he's doing with the military. And Marco Rubio is just praying he doesn't have to get another job. But the reality is we are clocking yet another week of this war with Iran. Check out what JD Vance had to say, too. I want you guys to hear this. JD Vance had a pre-taped interview with CBS News. And this is what he had to say about a deal. He says, quote, I think that the deal could happen in the next week. but the deal could also happen months from now. Once from now. Well, look, people, at this time, all we have is Trump saying, we're going to retaliate. That's what we just did. But here's the thing. It wasn't until the New York Times reported the downing of the Zapachi helicopter that happened on Monday. Did Donald Trump post that truth social post today on Tuesday? Check out this. We'll go back to the New York Times article. The Trump administration did not publicly acknowledge. that that helicopter went down until after the New York Times reported it on Monday night. A U.S. official said on Tuesday that the Iranian one-way attack drone had taken down the helicopter. Footnote, the drones being successful, like Ukrainians have been using the drone successfully against Russia. Riddle me this. So here's the thing. If Donald Trump... is not even letting Americans know or not even acknowledging that pilots have been shot down as a result of this war with the round. What's he doing? Well, we all know what he was doing. He was being welcomed by New Yorkers last night at the next game. Check it out.

Okay, the guy singing the national anthem, amazing. But that was clearly very loud booze. And I don't know if you guys were following this, but apparently he was booed inside Madison Square Garden. And then they were having an outdoor broadcast of the game at Bryant Park. He was booed there. He was flicked off on the way to Madison Square. He was booed on the streets. I mean, people let him know how they felt. And during this exciting game, which we all know Trump cursed, and that's the reason why the next lost, this is exactly how into the game Donald Trump was. Donald Trump is going for the Guinness Book of World Records when it comes to the longest blink in history. Just want you to know that according to Donald Trump and Maga, that's him just blinking. Longest, longest blink in history. So that's how exciting. That's how exciting Trump thought the game was. He's out of game. He's screwing over the Knicks. Screwing over New Yorkers. He's just killing the vibe. And we've got American soldiers at risk. Now, the good news is they were rescued. They were rescued. But think about the potential loss of life in the rescue, the potential loss of life in the downed helicopter. Thinking about the amount of money that was spent in that downed helicopter as well as in that rescue mission. But of course, we... We don't have to worry about money because we live in the United States. And they just give us money because we breathe, right? Oh, no. They just give money to Donald Trump. Here's the other breaking news that's getting us started on sidebar today. $70 billion has now been approved by House Republicans to be able to fund ICE and CBP through the end of Trump's term. I want you to think about this. $70 billion. has now been approved by Republican senators, not all, but most. All of the House Republicans, that is in addition to the 140 billion that ICE and CBP got last year in the big bullshit bill. And I always come back to this report. Senator Jeff Merkley at the end of April clocked from the Office of Management and Budget that they were sitting on approximately 100 billion, they being ICE and CBP at the end of April of 2026. So. Not only has there been an expenditure of tens of billions of dollars since last year from the big bullshit bill, but now they got an additional $70 billion. I want you, if you have a relationship in any capacity where you can speak to a Republican voter in your area, I want you to ask them what they think about Trump giving another $70 billion to ICE and CBP.

Just curious. And let me know. Let me know on social. Let me know here at YouTube in the comment section what these people tell you. Because I can't imagine that there is a competent response that you hear as to why Trump needs an additional $70 billion while the rest of us watch money getting flushed down the toilet in this war against Iran. I don't even know what the latest numbers are. I remember folks, we were already clocking $29 billion, but that was a few weeks ago. Again, we're printing money, right? It's just coming off of trees at this rate, and that was our breaking news. But here's even the latest news. This is what we really were supposed to start sidebar with today. Epstein files, you know that I always want to keep that straight and center in the middle of our public discourse. I know there's a million things going on, but Leslie Groff. 18 plus years, this woman worked as the executive personal assistant for Jeffrey Epstein, worked in his office, worked alongside Ghislaine Maxwell and others. That is her rolling in to House Oversight today for her transcribed interview. Y'all know how I feel about transcribed interviews. I'm going to take a second to describe how offensive it is that Republican chair James Comer allows a transcribed interview to take place versus a sworn deposition. Let's go through this. Transcribed interviews are not under oath. They are not videotaped, and they are not open to the public. A deposition under oath can be done publicly and can be videotaped, as we saw. They made former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton come in for a sworn deposition that was under oath that was videotaped in public, right? I mean, the original thing wasn't public in the immediate sense, which remember that video got released immediately. We don't even have videos to look at these people when they're testifying. That includes Sarah Kellan. who was the longtime travel companion and executive assistant for Jeffrey Epstein. And then this woman, Leslie Groff, February 2001 to July of 2019, her employment only stopped because he dropped dead under suspicious circumstances. That's the only reason why this woman stopped working for Jeffrey Epstein. But she wants you to believe that even though she is one of four co-conspirators that are in the Epstein non-prosecution agreement, including Sarah Callan's name, that she had no idea what was going on. Even though I covered here at Katie Fang News, if you check out the episode I did yesterday, Leslie Groff's name appears 166,000 times in the Epstein files, and her name is on all of these emails, including with young girls. Even though survivors of Epstein have said that Leslie Groff was their point of contact to schedule the massages, to schedule their meetings, to schedule their contact with Jeffrey Epstein, it was Leslie Groff. Now listen, I'm not going to put words in these people's mouths. I want you to hear this. This is Marina Serda. I want you to hear what she had to say about Leslie Groff. Just take a listen. I was only 14 years old when I met Jeffrey. It was the summer of high school. I was working three jobs to try to support my mom and my sister when a friend of mine in the neighborhood told me that I could make $300 to give another guy a massage. It went from a dream job.

to the worst nightmare. Jeffrey Assistant Leslie Groff would call me and tell me that I needed to be at the house so often that I ended up dropping out of high school before ninth grade. And I never went back. From 14 to 17 years old, I went and worked for Jeffrey. 14 years old. You guys know, I have an 11-year-old daughter. I won't even tell you what I would do to somebody if they did that to my child. She's a child. My 11-year-old's a child. My child will be a child at 14. My child will be a child at 17. I'm telling you right now that Leslie Groff is insulting the intelligence of the American people when she suggests that she had no idea. Here, it gets even better. So we have some reporting from Politico. I want you to check it out. Okay. So apparently, this is what she had to say. She said not only did she arrange phone calls between Donald Trump. and Jeffrey Epstein, and she did multiple phone calls that were set up between the two of them. She said that she, she's like, I had no idea that I was going to be named an unindicted co-conspirator that would be a part of the non-prosecution agreement. She said, I never saw Jeffrey Epstein engage in misconduct. I was unaware of his abuse of these victims. She says that she believed that Epstein, quote, had been set up with regards to the allegations that led to his 2008 conviction. So she just kept working with him long after he took that sweetheart plea deal. She also said, I never would have agreed to be called a unindicted co-conspirator, that unilateral decision by the federal government to label me as a potential co-conspirator remains my scarlet letter. I'm sorry, people, no violence playing for this woman. Now, Congressman James Walkenshaw said he doesn't believe it was remotely plausible for Leslie Groff to have been oblivious to Epstein's deeds. And in addition, you have Representative Lynch who says, Epstein was a registered sex offender. Leslie Groff arranged young women for massages. I question whether she can rightfully and truthfully maintain. She saw nothing improper. Congressman Suhasu Bermanian said this. He said, I am eager to get Grof on the record so that when we find out later she was lying, we can arrest her.

Again, people, part of the reason why having these interviews either be public or be on a video is you and I can look at somebody and we can gauge their credibility and their sincerity. Now, listen, it's not a perfect art form or a science, is it? But we can tell when somebody's being evasive in the way that they're answering questions. And in this instance, I don't believe. that this woman comes off an incredible way, 18 plus years working for Jeffrey Epstein, knowing every intimate detail of this man's schedule, every intimate detail of this man's schedule. She was the woman who set up all these massages. She's the woman on the emails where, and I cited this in my report to you yesterday. where a girl says, look, I know I'm supposed to bring this redacted name of another girl, but she's never done this before. Do you know what Jeffrey's planning tonight? Because, you know, do you think it'd be okay if maybe she didn't come? I mean, what's Leslie Groff thinking? What could they possibly be doing? Like, none of this was raising red flags. Again, not credible. And at this point, we have a transcribed interview. Now, small reassurance, it's a crime to lie to Congress. Whoopty-do. But at this point, This is part of the reason why I continue to sue and I continue to push. Tomorrow, I will drop an episode with the very latest in my lawsuit against Todd Blanche because we have some significant developments, especially those that have to deal with with Todd Blanche admitted. And at this point, though, tomorrow, what else do we have? Bill Gates. Bill Gates. Now, for those of you who don't know, Bill Gates also has a heavy level of involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. Yeah, listen, we may all sit there and rely upon Bill Gates for a lot of our technology these days, but it doesn't mean that Bill Gates didn't spend some quality time, shall we call it, with Jeffrey Epstein. Take a listen to what one of these congressmen had to say about Bill Gates. Someone like Bill Gates, you know, such a big name, so well known. appears before your committee for questions. You know, what's the goal? How does it change things? Well, John, there have been multiple versions of Bill Gates' involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. It is one that lasted several years. Bill Gates' relationship with Jeffrey Epstein even went beyond his first, Epstein's first conviction. So Bill Gates knew that he was a convicted, you know, sex offender. and yet maintain that relationship. He's made various statements. There are also been, there's a lot of evidence here that we're trying to sort through as to what is fact and what is fiction. So hopefully we can get to some of that tomorrow during the interview with Mr. Bill Gates. So Bill Gates shows up tomorrow. I'm going to do an episode on Bill Gates people. Let me tell you something. Bill Gates not only admitted to being introduced to.

We'll call them women, courtesy of Jeffrey Epstein. But remember how we always talk about Jeffrey Epstein in the word Kumpurmont? Remember we talk about the idea that what type of compromising information could somebody have like Jeffrey Epstein that would be able to lend him to be able to do this multi-decade international sex trafficking ring? Well, apparently Bill Gates was involved in a few affairs. And his wife, Melinda French Bill Gates, she always did not like Jeffrey Epstein. It was a source of contention between her and her husband. Eventually it led to her getting divorced. And, you know, Bill Gates wants to say, Like all of them say, oh, I regret now, you know, knowing what I know, well, to say, blah, blah, Bill Gates, like the congressman just said, continue to have a relationship, business and personal with Jeffrey Epstein, even after Epstein was outed as a sex offender, just like Leslie Groff, continue to work for Jeffrey Epstein until 2019, even though. Jeffrey Epstein was outed as a sex offender for minor girls in the mid-2000s. Somebody asked in the chat, and I appreciated it. Emmy asked, how did Leslie Groff get introduced to Jeffrey Epstein and was she a minor? No, Leslie Groff was not a minor. She actually... applied for a job and had to be thoroughly vetted to get the job. And she worked in this office space with Epstein and with all of the attorneys and accountants and all the other people that facilitated and enabled Jeffrey Epstein's lifestyle. Like I said, you know, I want to underscore something before we move on from this particular topic. I first want to play for you what Robert Garcia had to say. You guys know I'm a big fan of Robert Garcia. He has been really pushing this and pushing this at House Oversight. Take a listen to what he had to say on one of the breaks for votes that he had to take while they were interviewing Leslie Groff. Take a listen. What are you trying to uncover with Bill Gates' testimony about Epstein? Well, look, today we had Ms. Groff, who's actually still testifying right now to the committee. She's giving us, in fact, I think a lot of names of staff, employees, folks that worked in the Epstein orbit. She worked for Epstein for 18 years. So she's being asked, I think, some very tough questions, rightly so, about what she knew, who she scheduled appointments with. She scheduled massages. We know that. And so that's being asked of her right now. We're going to go back to as soon as you're over. But then of Mr. Bill Gates, we've said, we don't care if you are a Republican or a Democrat or who you are. The fact that Mr. Bill Gates still had a relationship with Mr. Epstein, even after knowing about the conviction, knowing what he had done, I think is very concerning. So we want to know. What did Mr. Bill Gates know? Who else was around that orbit? And why Mr. Bill Gates continued to have a relationship with Mr. Epstein. I think those are important.

So again, we also hear from Congressman Garcia. We want to know why Bill Gates had a continued relationship with a man who had been outed as a pedophile and a sex offender. And we know part of it is Bill Gates just like the guy. I know it's just kind of shocking, but there was something very transactional, obviously, on Jeffrey Epstein side of these relationships. And then you kind of have to ask yourself, all of these incredibly wealthy, powerful people, what did they get out of Jeffrey Epstein? I want you to stop for a second and ask that. I want you to think about the relationships you have in your life. Some of them are transactional, are they not? Some of them may not be. In these relationships, Jeffrey Epstein got a lot of what he wanted. He got connected to people with wealth. He got connected to people to power that helped him cement his credibility so he could continue to commit these crimes because nobody would ever believe that Jeffrey Epstein could have done this because it's Jeffrey Epstein. What are these wealthy people? What are these powerful people? What are these people getting out of this relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? They already have money. Les Wexner didn't need money. Bill Gates didn't need money. Members of academia, they may need money for their departments, but they didn't need procedure fame. Members of royalty or royalty? People, what are they getting out of these relationships with Jeffrey Epstein? That is the question that needs to be answered. And I appreciate what Garcia says. Congressman Garcia says, look at all these great investigative leads of her dropping names, Lazy Groff saying names. That's fine. Let me tell you something, folks. I am still trying to go through three million fucking documents right now, okay? There are a lot of fucking names in those documents, at least the ones that I can see. It's not so much the names, people. It's what were you getting out of this relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? That is the question that should be asked, because we all know that those are compromising answers. That is the compromise. Where's the hidden videos of the hidden cameras in Jeffrey Epstein's residences? What are they recording? Why are we having hidden cameras in residences of Jeffrey Epstein? I'm telling you people, it's really not that complicated. A lot of it is just human nature, right? And some people are just more depraved than others. All right. So that is happening. Leslie Groff today, Bill Gates tomorrow. I will drop that episode on the updates of my lawsuit. As well, y'all will get all of those details. Yes, I agree. Cedar Elm. Matthew Perry's handlers jailed. Yeah. And listen, look, Michael Jackson's murder, whatever, right? I mean, all these people that are doing all these things, they get investigated, they get jailed and yet mysteriously. Just Jeffrey Epstein and Gellon Maxwell. I will also drop this footnote. Sarah Kellan did say in her transcribed interview that she does not believe that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. I'll know how I feel about this topic. I maintain that is still my topic. I know y'all may not agree with me, but that's what I think. All right. So here we go. Next, we've talked about the war. And here's the next thing that I want to talk to you guys about.

Oh, by the way, Israel claims it's stopping to do stuff, but it's really not. It's still pummeling southern Lebanon, towns and villages, including areas that were not covered by evacuation warnings that were issued by the Israeli military. So Israel is still running around killing people in Lebanon now, too. Okay, we're going to move on to the latest in the California election results. Have you guys been following that? I have very carefully. So this is the latest out of California. This is what we have. I want to get you guys the latest numbers. So we have, as of this morning, June 9th, Karen Bass for the mayoral race in L.A. has garnered more than 275,000 votes while, let me make sure. While Nithya Raman has received over 229,000 votes, Spencer Pratt. out the certification for the election results will take place on june 26th so that is the latest out of the la merrill race and then we obviously know here's the latest when it comes to the california governor race i don't know how many of you guys have been watching that too and again i'm not telling you who to vote for But I was an early supporter of Xavier Becerra. I know not everybody agrees me. That's okay. But right now it's Xavier Becerra. Steve Hilton is coming in second place right now and just very much behind Steve Hilton. Right now we've got Xavier Becerra at 2.17 million votes, Hilton at 1.97 and Tom Steyer at 1.75 million. So we're watching that very carefully. And part of the reason we're watching it so carefully is this. Donald Trump has decided, like he always does, that when Republicans, including him, lose or are losing, what is his go-to phrase? Election fraud. And I don't know if any of you guys caught this, but when Trump was interviewed by, Meet the Press on, I forget her name. I'm having one of those senior moments, folks. I apologize. Kristen? Right. Kristen? Kristen Ruckett, Kirsten Muckett, Christian Rolke. Anyway, when he was interviewed by her, he, like, stormed out of the interview. I'm not going to play the whole damn thing for you, but I want to play a little bit of it for you right now so you can take a listen to you what he had to say about election fraud in California. Take a listen. Let's talk about this tremendous evidence. There's nothing but evidence. The election was rigged. It was a dirty election. Mr. President, and it's happening again right now in California. It's happening right now in California. Right now it's looking, look at what's happening. Where's the evidence to that? It's four days. In California, it's, no, they're not there. They're dropping fast because it's a rigged election. Let me tell you, it's four days. And they aren't even close to coming up with it. You know why they're doing that? Because they're cheating on the election. There's, what, do you have evidence to support that? All I have to do is look. All I have to do is look. That's not it. And I listen to people. And let's see what happens.

All I have to do is look. Okay, so I can play this game too. We can play this game. So Donald Trump is a fat-ass piece of shit. Where's the evidence? All I have to do is look. Isn't that what he just said? That's all you have to do. All you have to do is look. So Trump goes on in that interview. I want a footnote to call Kristen Welker crooked. And he says you're either crooked or you're stupid. And then he went on to talk about. NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN kept on going and going and going. Would I struggle to understand? And maybe you guys can explain this to me because I've talked about it a lot here at Katie Feng News. Anytime that they're doing one of those press pull things, I don't understand why none of these mainstream media journalist colleagues ever step up and defend their colleagues, especially the women. And I don't think it's paternalistic. I don't even think it's misogynistic for a guy to stand up and say, I don't think you should be speaking to that. I'm speaking to Ms. So-and-so that way, Ms. Caitlin Susan Collins or Ms. Walker that way. I'm not quite sure why nobody steps up. But what harm would have happened? This asshole walked out of the interview anyway, right? Because Kristen Walker was pushing him. Well, where's your evidence? Where's your evidence? Right. But at one point. does one of these journalists, when he calls them stupid, ugly, whatever, all of these totally derogatory things he has to say, at which point does one of them just say to him, you know, I don't think that's nice. And I actually want to ask you, how would you feel if I sat there and told you how stupid and ugly you are? But, of course, what's going to do is going to storm out. And they don't say that. They bite their tongue because they want to sit there and prioritize the access journalism. And yet I ask you, with all sincerity, what was the value of that conversation with Donald Trump? He repeated the same lie. You just gave him oxygen and time, which I just did, by the way. I'm guilty of this, but I'm doing it to prove a point. You platform his lies. It's constantly fact-checked. It's constantly wrong. And there's nothing fucking original. Nothing original. I understand he's going to sit there and say that it's election fraud. And look, you don't even have to interview Donald Trump. All you have to do is ask Mike Johnson, who has his own issues. But take a listen to Mike Johnson. I'm not saying it's rigged. I'm saying it stinks to high heaven, and everybody knows that. Let's remove the appearance of impropriety. Let's have, what a concept. Let's have votes on an election the day of the election. That's what many states are able to do. I think California is playing around with us. But what evidence is there to prove that there was this rigged? Some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream that is impossible to prove. But I think everybody knows instinctively something is wrong here. And that's a concern. to believe in the integrity of our election system so far upstream So far up Trump's ass that I find Mike Johnson. Yes. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. What is your evidence of that, Katie Fang? Well, I can use my eyes. I use my eyes and I see Mike Johnson so far up Donald Trump's fucking colon that I don't know which one stops and which ones begins. So that is the way that I look at it. I mean, that's my point, right? In fact, I would actually have more questioning in interviews and something like Mike Johnson before I think that we should even do a Donald Trump interview.

Maybe I should do a poll. Sydney, my amazing producer. Sydney, maybe we should stick a poll in this one and ask people whether or not they think it's worth it to ever interview Donald Trump again. I do not believe, other than him stroking out in the middle of an interview, that is the only time that I think there's going to be a value to an interview of Donald Trump. Literally, mid-interview stroke out. Other than that, it's the same old shit. SOS, same old shit. Just a different day, but not even. It's a day ending away. So that's my two cents on that. Anyway, I have digressed in Piquito. My team's going to be like, what the hell is going on with Katie Fang? Just a reminder. Today is also the main Senate primary with Graham Platner, Janet Mills vying for the Democratic nomination. There's also a third person. I apologize. I don't remember their name. Polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern, so I have nothing to report to you right now about it. Maybe we'll have a conversation about it tomorrow. I would also like to know your thoughts about Graham Platner, Janet Mills. I was supporting Janet Mills. I have not actively endorsed or supported Graham Platner. Come at me, if you will. You guys know me and you trust me. And I don't know how I feel about it right now. So, again, I'm open-minded. I'm happy to sit there and have these conversations with people. But right now, I have nothing to report about the Maine Senate. primary right now. I am, of course, still watching several other congressional primaries, making sure that we're totally on top of things. And I'm also going to be having an interview in a few days with somebody from Vote Hub about these primaries and these elections in specifically California so that you and I can be armed with the facts to be able to explain to dumbasses like Donald Trump and Mike Johnson and other mug of people like Steve Hilton and Spencer Pratt. Why? they're all fucked in the head when it comes to being able to figure out how California does its elections. But that's here or there. Yes, I know. I'm not comfortable with Graham Platner either. But I, so Van lifer, I am interested in knowing your take about this. So especially, I am also very respectful of people that are in Maine. I am not here to superimpose my judgment on y'all in Maine. All righty, let's move on. So we're moving on to the UFC fight on Sunday. Did I even tell you guys this? I can't believe I didn't tell you guys this. I'm in Washington, D.C. So. I'm here because of the Trump-Ebstein-redacted reading room that I covered in the private preview with Danny Benski. If you guys remember, if you didn't see the episodes, please go back and watch them. It was one of the most important pieces of work I have done as an independent journalist. Well, the reading room, all 4,737 volumes have gone on the road, and they've now taken up space here in Washington, D.C. And it's actually for congressional staffers to be able to let them have direct contact with Epstein survivors and advocates, survivor advocates like Virginia's brother, Sky and Amanda, her sister-in-law, to be able to talk about, you know, their experiences and to also help inform. congressional staffers on what are the important issues for the victims so that they can go back and they can also interface with their members of Congress with whom they work and to be able to let them know what the focus should be moving forward. in terms of accountability and in terms of justice. And in the afternoon, the members of Congress and Jenna Lisa and myself, we're going to talk about Todd Blanche. As you know, he has been officially nominated to be the permanent job of Attorney General and how that does not bode well when it comes to transparency and justice and truth if that should happen. And so anyway, that's why I'm here. I wanted you guys to know that I'm in D.C. And the other reason why I wanted you know in D.C. is because I am close to the UFC. place, whatever we want to call it. Are we going to call it an arena? It's not really an arena because it's open air, but it is a massive octagon with an open overhead dome and around 5,000 arena seats. Common denominator. I didn't know if you guys know this, but here we go. My lawyer for my lawsuit against Todd Blanche and the DOJ as a guy named Brendan Ballou and Sam Ward Packer, who are at Public Integrity Project, they just brought a lawsuit to stop this UFC fight on Sunday. You're looking at the cover page, federal lawsuit, it was filed. I just texted with my lawyer, Brendan, about what the status is, and he said the government has to respond by. today, six o'clock, and then they respond basically by tomorrow. I want to make sure I got the time right for you guys. And after that happens, I'm sorry, DOJ's brief is due tonight, our brief, as in the plaintiffs that are suing to stop the UFC fight, is due at 9 p.m. tomorrow. And then Judge Amit Mehta, who is not a federal Donald Trump, is going to schedule a hearing. This all has to take place before Sunday. So they're moving really fast. But there is a lawsuit that is filed to be able to stop it. And the grounds for the lawsuit include the following. That UFC fight violates National Park Service policy that prohibits sporting events on the south lawn of the White House. And the plans for that event did not receive approval from Congress to construct that huge, disgusting-looking piece-of-ship structure on the White House lawn. And it also did not undergo a required environmental review before construction began. It is an abomination, people. I have seen it. It is horrific, and it's really, really bad. I mean, it's embarrassing on every level that that is being constructed and that they're planning on doing this. But you want to know what's even more ridiculous? Check out this headline. And this is, of course, why we do sidebar together. Did you know this might have escaped your notice? The White House press corps will not be allowed on White House grounds on Sunday because of that UFC fight.

in the history of the United States if this merger goes through on so many different levels. But sure, firing Scott Pelley, getting rid of the top leadership at 60 minutes and running that storied franchise into the ground, destroying CBS. But yeah, let's go ahead. Let's give her CNN.
