And I will tell you that I kind of suspected. that everything that's depicted in this article was going on behind the scenes, but it was stunning to see the level of detail, the level of attribution to people in terms of words and statements and conduct. And so, number one, kudos to Maggie and Jonathan Verdes incredible reporting. But number two, I wanted to make sure that I spent some time here at Katie Fang News talking about some of the bigger issues within this reporting because, A, as you know, the Epsing Files is of utmost importance. for my reporting, but B, it's because I feel like it is now created the necessity for so many more people that are integral, critical members of the Trump regime to have to come and say an answer, and I want to be clear, not in a transcribed interview, but under oath on video, subject to penalties of perjury and prosecution, they have to answer questions about a criminal conspiracy to protect and to cover up. potential crimes committed by the president of the United States convicted felon Donald Trump. I mean, it is so fucking obvious that it was and continues to be in real time a cover up. Because if you didn't do anything wrong, Donald Trump, if you didn't commit crimes, Donald Trump, then why are people scrambling to protect your ass? And there were some remarkable disclosures in this reporting in the New York Times that showed things, for example, like JD Vance actually advocating for transparency, like who would have fucking thought? And yet, J.D., that also means that you need to sit and answer questions under oath. Under oath, on video, about what you do know and about what in the hell was going on in the situation room of all places. The situation room. I mean, it's worth reminding because I had to remind myself in a little bit of ways the following. The Situation Room, a 5,000 square foot complex in the basement on the ground floor of the West Wing of the White House. It is one of the most secure facilities in our United States government. It is designed to be a SCIF, a secure, secure location to be able to discuss some of the most sensitive and confidential matters and issues of our government. A SCIF is a sensitive compartmented information facility. You cannot bring cell phones in. You cannot wear an Apple watch. You cannot bring in electronic devices into that room. It is that. sensitive and it's supposed to be that secure and not everybody gains entry into the situation room and yet the situation room became the meeting point for some of the most important members of this administration to confer to complain to conspire and ultimately to prevent
the disclosure of the Epstein files to the public. To me, a trial lawyer and former prosecutor, what I am reading and what I have read are the hallmarks of obstruction of justice. So let's get into some of the details now. Straight out of the gate. We learn that on July 17th, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m. in the evening, President Donald Trump's top officials filed into the White House Situation Room. I want to orient you in time. July 16th, 2025 is nine days after this memo was issued. by Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, the DOJ and the FBI. At the time, she was the Attorney General of the United States, Pam and Joe with the bad hair, Kash Patel remains the director of the FBI. But this July 7th, 2025, came out. And the uproar that it caused, justifiably, became an unavoidable problem for Trump and his administration. So on July 16th, they come together. And I want to make sure that I name them and shame them because you know that's a specialty here at Katie Fang News, but it's important for purposes of the investigation that must be conducted into what the White House was doing in this cover-up. Vice President JD Vance took a seat at the head of the table in the John of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. conference room of the Situation Room Complex. Quote, This is a huge problem, end quote, he told the group. A raid around him were the White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles. The White House counsel, David Warrington, the press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. The deputy chief of staff, Taylor Budowich. The communications director, Stephen Chung. The deputy, then deputy, attorney general, Todd Blanche. The associate attorney general, Stanley Woodward Jr., Who we've talked about a lot here, too. The deputy chief of staff, James Blair. Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI director, Kash Patel, joined on speakerphone. All of these people. And before you tell me, Pam Bondi's already showed up, that was a transcribed interview. It doesn't count. She just basically wiped her ass with the actual duly authorized congressional issued subpoena that she was served with, which required to testify under oath, okay? Neither here nor there. But anyway, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, all these people, they all are going to get subpoenas. And if they don't, I'm telling you, Chair James Comer at House Oversight, you are also complicit. I mean, I already knew that there was something going on with you, but if you don't actually subpoena these people to show up, If you allow them to do those bullshit transcribes interview, which are not under oath, that are not videotaped, that are not made public, I'm telling you right now, these need to be public hearings with people under oath that are answering questions. So the American people understand the extent, the depth, and the breadth of this conspiracy, this cover up that's happening in real time by the Trump administration, by these key figures in his administration. Now.
I'm going to tell you that in the, and when I printed it out, 32 pages of this New York Times article, one figure prominently, prominently has a role. And you may think that it's Pam Bondi. I'm going to tell you right now, she may have been the forward-facing public-facing person because she was the Attorney General at the time of these events in this New York Times article, but it's actually Todd Blanche. Todd Blanche. Let's talk about that. While JD Vance during this initial meeting on July 16th, 2025, is trying to push for all these creative ways to have transparency to release all of it because he knows that it is kryptonite. He knows it's politically toxic to not have this transparency. And by the way, before you impute to JD Vance, any type of good intentions on this, I actually think. It was incredibly Machiavellian for him. I actually think JD Vance wanted this because he knew it was going to hurt Donald Trump. And I bet you he wanted it to get to the point of impeachment. But you know what, J.D., maybe you'll pretend like you had, you know, good intentions towards survivors in this case. I doubt it. I think you just wanted to make it to the oval faster. Here is what I want to focus on, which is Todd Blanche, who has now been nominated officially to be the permanent acting attorney, excuse me, the permanent attorney general of the United States. He's currently the acting AG. We've known he's wanted this permanent job since day one. He's been gunning for it. And I really do think that this also shows how he, as in Todd Blanche, was working behind the scenes to get Pam Bondi looking so damn bad that's part of the razor's shot, her ass booted. Todd Blanche in the situation room. The situation room. P.S., why the situation room? Oh, because you knew how absolutely sensitive this information was. You knew how politically damaging this information was for Trump. And frankly, for all of these people, right? Because if Trump goes down, these people are going down with that sinking chip, which they already are in every way. Reputation, brand, maybe even jobs, right? Right? You couldn't have this conversation in the Oval Office. And by the way, Trump's not even in this. I mean, they know how bad it is. They're having this conversation without Trump, right? And they're not having it in somebody's, you know, kitchen. They're having this in this situation room. And it's where a place you're not going to have recording devices. There's no surveillance potential. There's no opportunity for this. I mean, which is why this reporting is just jaw dropping in its specificity. Because it means somebody in that room. leaked. Somebody in that room ran their mouth and said what the hell went on in this room. And I'm not just talking on July 16, 2025. I'm talking at the subsequent meetings because there is a level of detail to this reporting that comes directly from the source or sources. Maybe it's not just one person. Maybe it's many people who decided that they had a come to Jesus moment where they either want to take out somebody that they deem to be politically a problem for them. Maybe they just don't like the person because they're an asshole. Or maybe they said, you know what? I can't continue to do this. Who knows? I don't really care. I'm just grateful. Grateful for them running their mouths. All righty.
Todd Blanche says these are our best options. One, option one, to petition the federal district courts in Florida, New York to unseal the grand jury testimonies. Everyone agreed this option was a good idea, and not only because a release of the grand jury, testimonies were unlikely to damage the president. If the courts refused to unseal them, as Todd Blanche predicted, they could shift the blame for withholding the Epstein material away from the Trump administration and onto the judges, and all the better if the judges have been appointed by Democratic presidents. Option two was to have Justice Department lawyers questioned Maxwell, Ghislaine Maxwell, and publicly released the transcript, a twist on the idea proposed earlier by JD Vance, because JD Vance had offered to do that. Todd Blanche then offered to interview Maxwell himself, which we know he ended up doing and we know exactly what the results were, which was her. Not telling the truth. Him not pushing for the truth and her getting transferred to a club fed in reward for her not telling the truth. Now, again, there's more in this reporting about Todd Blanche's fingerprints and DNA over this conspiracy and the cover up, which makes his nomination and the threat of him becoming the attorney general that much scarier. And I want to take at this time a moment to center. the Epstein survivors, as they should always be centered. They should always be the focus of this. They have released a statement announcing their opposition to Taub Todd Blanche's Attorney General nomination, and it comes as a direct result. I mean, it was already there before this reporting, but it comes as a direct result of. The idea and this reporting just really buttressed why he should not be having that job. You're looking at this statement on your screen right now. It's dated June 11, 2026. These Epstein survivors, all 19 of them, stating, We are deeply disturbed to learn that so many senior members of the administration gathered in the situation room to discuss the release of the Epstein files as a reputational problem rather than an opportunity to pursue investigative leads and try to figure out what actually happened. We are especially concerned that Todd Blanche, the person nominated for the highest law enforcement position in the country, was at that table. Todd Blanche failed to deliver transparency, and he has gravely failed survivors. This is failing upward, plain, and simple. We deserve better. We deserve truth, transparency, and accountability. We deserve to be taken seriously when we come forward. And we deserve an attorney general who will use the full power of that office to pursue justice, protect others, and ensure that what happened to us never happens again. I also want to take a minute to let you know that tomorrow here at Katie Fang News, I will be dropping an exclusive interview with Sky and Amanda John Roberts, who are the brother and sister-in-law of the late Virginia Joufrey.
I had the opportunity to not only moderate a panel where they were serving on as panelists, as survivor advocates, but I also had the chance to sit down with them in person. Our first chance to sit down in person, we have seen each other in other events and other things, but we sat down and they shared some. information too that they usually don't talk about which is the death of Virginia. So be on the lookout for that tomorrow. It was one of the most moving conversations I've had in a while and especially about the Epstein files. And it was most certainly one that I am thrilled to be able to share with you here at Katie Fang News. But the fact that Epstein survivors are coming out so publicly against Todd Blanche. is partially because he failed them because we know that Pambani has now offered in her information in her transcribed interview that Ta Todd Blanche was responsible for the rollout, the failed rollout, the botch rollout of the Epstein files, but Ta Todd Blanche also was handling the day-to-day on this. And we also seen Ta Todd Blanche do the interviews where he's basically said there's nothing to investigate, there's no third parties to investigate, there's nobody to prosecute, there's nothing left to produce, even though we know he's also sitting on an additional three million documents, right? But Ta Todd Blanche is your top guy, right, Donald? And we know why. We know why more because of this reporting in the New York Times. Okay? And remember we talked about the July 7, 2025 memo? Well, let me tell you something. This memo, this memo was done again by Pam Bondi and Kash Patel. And what's amazing, what's amazing is that then Deputy FBI Director, Dan Bingo Boingo Dan Bongino, as I call him, he was heavily against doing this memorandum. And he said not to do it and he didn't want to sign off on it. And ultimately he went out over his objection because he knew he was dialed into Maga. He knew that this memo wherein they say that there's no basis to revisit the disclosure of materials. There's no credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. Wait, wait, wait a minute. Bill Gates just testified in his transcribed interview on Thursday. What did he say? He said that Epstein was blackmailing him. Now, Bill Gates says it's not because I did anything with minors. Bill Gates said I admittedly had affairs while I was married to Melinda French Bill Gates and that Epstein knew when he was blackmailing me. Oh, I'm sorry. No credible evidence found that Epstein blackmail prominent individuals as part of his actions. We know that Epstein had secret cameras, even though Todd Blanche says no. We know that Epstein was collecting compromise, compromises information. Because, yeah, why not? Quote, we did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties. Again, more bullshit. We've seen that even in the illegally redacted files that have been released so far in those 3.2 million documents that have been released so far. It's a determination of the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation that no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted. What a crock of shit. The reporting says this memo was an earthquake and it was received by part of the MAGA base as an outwhite betrayal. It amounted to an abrupt disavowal of the sinister conspiracy theories that some of Trump's closest confidants had hyped during the Biden presidency and that they had promised to expose once Trump was returned to power. And yet we know that the reason why they're using the situation room repeatedly is because.
They wanted to protect Trump from this fallout. They wanted to protect Trump from possible criminal exposure. They knew about the allegations of Trump. I mean, I'm going to go there because I think it's ridiculous, but they talk about in this reporting how they were, they were worried about nipples, nipples, that there was in these DOJ files, in the upseem files, an allegation that Donald Trump. liked nipples. That he had a predilection for it and that he had been aggressively flicking and sucking on nipples of a girl, a child. And they didn't want it to be released. And that's why they were like, well, hey, guess what? That subpoena from James Comer at House Oversight to DOJ. It doesn't ask for this information that was in a grand jury report or grand jury testimony, so we're fine. Oh. But then the Epstein Files Act gets passed and it comes out. I mean, they're talking about nipples in the situation room, people. They're not talking about national security, although maybe they are. Maybe there is national security implications when the president of the United States could be compromised by things he's done in the past. I mean, I invite you to go and read some more. I invite you to read all of this because. It also talks about how MAGA influencers like Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly and others that they were in a pissing match with these kind of establishment MAGA people in the White House about calling it out. I mean, the late Charlie Kirk got reamed. He got his ass reamed by Donald Trump because at a turning point event, they were calling for the release of the Epstein files. And again, no credit. Because it should have been out a long-ass time ago. But Trump, why are you calling your pet Charlie Kirk and yelling at him for his demand for the release and the transparency in the Epstein files unless you have something that you want to hide? I mean, look, that is the takeaway. Not only should Todd Blanche have to comment and answer questions, which we know House Oversight has announced he's coming in. And it's, of course, it's going to be one of those bullshit transcribed interviews. But here's the thing. We know. that all of this scramble and hustle, to go to the situation room, to convene repeatedly, to try to find ways with Todd Blanche leading the charge on ways to hide and obfuscate and to keep the American people from knowing the truth in these Epstein files, we know it was only to protect one person. It wasn't to protect Todd Blanche. Todd Blanche wasn't worried that he was in the Epstein files. Let me be clear. It was to protect convicted felon Donald Trump. So one. What else is left in those two and a half, three million files that Toblanch continues to sit on too? What's behind those illegally and improperly redacted files that have since been released, right? But that I'm suing to get fully released because there's something there, right? Where there's smoke, there's fire. And this was a all-out effort. to extinguish a conflagration in the White House. Again, my hat off, my hat off to Maggie Haberman and to Jonathan Swan for doing this reporting.
This is necessary reporting. This is necessary information for us. I will continue to do more kind of pulling on threads from this reporting, but I just wanted to get out now and talk about it because I thought it was important. And again, I urge you to watch my interview with Sky and Amanda John Roberts tomorrow because I believe that you will appreciate what they have to say about Virginia and her legacy. Because part of what I believe is important here is exposing, exposing these co-conspirators in this cover-up, the Susie Wiles, the Kash Patel's, the Pam Bondi, the JD Vance's and others, Stephen Chung, right? They all need to be exposed. But we also need to figure out because of what's at stake, how we push forward to get the transparency that's needed, and how to get changes. Changes in the law. So that this can't happen again. Be mad, be outraged, demand accountability. I'm off to round more cages. Katie Fang here.
